B
What's up, guys? Welcome back to View. This may be my final podcast before I try dmt.
C
Oh, whoa.
B
Yeah.
C
Headline.
B
Yeah. I just told Natalie we're going to watch Lord of the Rings this Sunday. And I said, if. Is there any way you can give me DMT right before I want to experience it?
A
I don't know when I became the token DMT plug now.
B
The plug that just feels like she'd have it. Listen, I've been seeing a lot about it, Nat X and it. And. And I think I'm. I think. I think I'm in.
C
This is. This is shocking news right now that I'm hearing. I can't believe this is coming out of your mouth.
B
That's why I wanted to save it for the pod. I'm like, and. And normally I'm like, like, you try weed for the first time, like, with a friend. This I completely want to do, like, on my own and I want all my friends to be there just so obviously they can, like, safeguard me. But I've just been. It's just been coming up on my feet and speaking to me recently, and I think I just have to go for it. I have to take a leap of faith. A lot of people say, I'm not trying to promote DMT here, but a lot of people say, like, when you, when you smoke weed or you do mushrooms, people have their own kinds of, like, different varying experiences. But people that do DMT all kind of track and say almost the same exact thing happens to them. What, like, they meet these beings and it's basically. We've talked about this before, like, a long time ago that, like, it unlocks part of your brain and the beings are like, we're so glad you've discovered us. Like, welcome to this technology. And it's like, it's like, it's almost like it's connecting, like parts of your brain that were never connected before. Obviously. I'm about 45 minutes into research of DMD, right? So. So, like me explaining this to you and this all started because. Because this Is this is how this started to get on my feed. I was watching. There was a. There was another podcast, and they were talking about, like, what's, like, the craziest fact ever? Yeah. And apparently this is real. In the 1960s, NASA was trying to teach dolphins how to speak English. So they were feeding the dolphins lsd, right? And it was, like, working pretty well. Like the dolphins were doing. Having a better job communicating. I'm not even kidding. No way. And. But.
C
But this is real thinking dolphins sound. That was a language.
B
I don't know how far they got. Obviously, it could also be, hey, Professor, I don't know. No, no, I don't think the dolphins were like. I were just like, I love the
A
research that you're doing here. You're really getting.
B
No, no, but that's like.
C
Like one squeak.
B
That's not the important part. This. This should explain to you what actually happened. They had to stop doing the experiments because one of the scientists started having sex with one of the dolphins named Peter. And so they had to shut down the experiments. The scientists could no longer see Peter. And then afterwards, Peter killed himself.
C
Oh, my God.
B
The dolphin. The dolphin. Okay, that's crazy.
C
It's clearly clear that Peter was doing the acid too.
B
No, no, no. Peter is a dolphin.
C
Oh, Peter killed himself.
B
The dolphin killed himself.
C
You're kidding.
B
Yeah.
C
How the hell is that even. He was doing the acid, right?
B
So, yeah, so the dolphin was. I mean, was fucking pissed that he lost his partner that was a scientist. I mean, I don't want to. I don't want to assume why Peter killed himself. How do you have sex with him? And did Peter really kill himself? Yeah, so I think that's, like, a big thing. That's kind of why I'm, like, really interested about DMT also.
A
Wait, what?
C
But you're not a drug guy.
B
Not a drug guy at all. But I've always said this is. Since you don't smoke weed since the jump. No, I've always said I wanted to try everything once.
C
Okay.
A
I just, like, what is it about dmt, though, specifically, that you're, like, interested in just because you want to also have this other worldly experience other people are saying that they have.
B
Well, I've just been seeing a lot of, like, different conspiracy theories about how, like. Like, remember on a couple podcasts ago, I talked about, like, what if you had another sense? Like, that was like, not like, your sense of smell. Like, like, if we. If humans never had sense of smell, you would never be able to describe a smell, right? Right, right. Like that's just it. And it's like, what if DMT can unlock different senses that still exist here on Earth? We just have no way of accessing it.
C
So people from different parts of the world have taken DMT and they say the same thing, they see the same being?
B
Yes. Okay, let, let me read you this, this, this thing I found that's really interesting. In 1990, there's a scientist that discovered a doorway to another dimension. He injected 60 people with 400 doses of DMT. Most reported meeting the same entities. The pattern was beyond scientific. Okay. His goal was to study the effectiveness of psychedelics, unconsciousness, and then DMT is naturally found in the human brain, blood, lungs, plants, animals. It's nicknamed the spirit molecule. So he injected 400 doses to 60 volunteers over five years. And everyone was describing not just hallucinations, they weren't dreams. There were. The participants were describing the same scenes, same beings, same worlds. Time after time, people described entering a space more real than reality, filled with colors they'd never seen. Complex 4D geometry. Intelligence beyond comprehension, and most showing of all entities. Participants use the same words to describe them. Machine elves, light beings, insectoid aliens, jesters, higher intelligence. They heard things like this from them. We've been waiting for you, Iron Man. We're glad you made it back. They interacted, they taught, they operated on people using light and energy. Some gave warnings, other gave revelations. But that's not the strangest part. Nearly all participants came back changed emotionally, spiritually, existentially. One subject said, she said, I felt like I left my real home and came back to a fake world. Another said they knew me better than I knew myself. It was terrifying. And another said, they told me humans have forgotten who they are. Like, this is fucking crazy.
C
Wow.
B
Is this crazy?
C
Yeah.
B
And it's like a 10 to 15 minute trip.
A
That's what's crazy to me is that it's only 15 minutes.
B
What's scary about it is I've read another thing of this one guy who took a trip and lived a full life with, in the, like during the Mayan days with his wife and children and family, like lived a full 80 year old, 60 year old life or
C
whatever in 15 minutes.
B
In 15 minutes?
C
No.
B
Which is kind of scary.
C
Yeah.
B
So like that, that like freaks me out because if I, if I lived another life on a trip, like, obviously I'm coming back full blown changed. Like you can't, you can't get yourself back to like your ground itself. But I need to do this.
C
Where do you get it?
B
I don't know. That's why I was just like, nat, can you figure it out before Lord
A
of the Rings, before Sunday, real quick?
B
I think there's like, people that like, walk you through it and stuff.
C
Well, there's like shamans.
B
Yeah, yeah. And thick.
C
I mean, I know you can do ayahuasca and like Woodland Hills.
B
I'm assuming it'd be they could get dmt. No.
C
Say what?
A
I'm sure there's lots of. You know, Joe Rogan is like the. Isn't he like the big D?
C
I don't know if he's done dmt.
B
Maybe that's his, like, big thing, I think.
A
Yeah, that's his big thing. He's like the. There's like a documentary on DMT and he's like the spokesperson in the documentary.
B
Oh, really?
C
Yeah. Okay.
B
So years later, after the research, scientists picked up where this guy left off. So the guy that was doing the research had to stop it because it got too real. Too many reports of telepathy, alien surgery, future prophecy, shared experiences. He was scared that he opened a doorway he didn't know how to close, basically. And then years later, researchers picked up where he left off and they kind of came to the conclusion that unlike dreams or lsd, which vary wildly, this showed a structured realm that like, people were entering, like a very consistent thing, that all people across these were entering the same place. So they kind of, they, they kind of linked it to like. Okay, so when they were studying the brain, they were showing that the brain was lighting up like a Christmas tree and parts of the brain were talking to each other that normally wouldn't communicate with. With each other, which is so, like, quite literally like turning on like a, like a radio tuner to like, to like, tuning into like a new right realm or whatever.
C
Wow.
B
So I think it's interesting. I don't know. I'm definitely not a druggie and this isn't something I would abuse and I would, like, just try it once and obviously I'd be scared going into it. And I have heard of, like, really bad trips. I have heard of, like, people like, doing this and like, they think they're a stop sign for like 40 years.
A
Really?
B
I thought that was like acid maybe. Maybe I'm actually mixing it.
A
You're right, because I was like, when you texted me this, I did my own little side research.
B
You found out where to get it for me?
A
No, no, but.
B
Where to get DMT for your boss?
A
No, but I was just like, like, what is. What It. What about it makes it like, illegal, right? Because I was like, is it.
B
Was it hard to find why it was illegal?
A
Yes.
B
Yeah, same here. I was like, is it illegal? And then it said it was like legalized in Washington DC.
A
No, well, no, it said that, like in the 60s, they like the. Made a lot of psychedelics illegal. But I was like, why this one? Specifically? Because I was like, I know acid, like, burns your brain, right? Or whatever over time if you take it several times. But there's a lot of cases where there's people that are taking several doses of. Of DMT and they're like, okay, they have these other experiences or whatever. But. And it just kept saying. And not to be an advocate either, but it was just saying, like, things like acid and alcohol, like, they deteriorate your body over time. Like, this doesn't do that.
C
Really?
A
Yeah, yeah, but that was.
C
It has to do with DMT is like what releases in your body when you're dying.
B
Yes, I think that's it.
C
Yeah. And so when you do dmt, you're. You're drawing on that thing. So when you die, you might not have enough dmt, you know what I'm saying? If you do it a lot.
B
I don't. Oh, yeah. I mean, like I said would do it only once.
C
Right. But I mean, even to do it, I don't know.
B
My for you page on TikTok has really been acting up, like, against me.
C
What's going on with that for you page?
B
Leading me down a really scary. I'm like, completely lost in what is like, what is this planet now?
C
Yeah.
B
And I'm like. It's like, really worrying me. Like I'm starting to believe that the moon is fake. It's a space station.
C
Yeah.
B
Like, I'm fully convinced of that. That it was like built like 12,000 years ago and pulled here. I don't know, I'm like, really nervous about things. Yeah. So, yeah, I'm going to do dmt, like at this weak time. I'm in.
C
Oh, can I be there?
B
Yeah. 100.
C
Okay.
B
Yeah, I watched a video of this guy doing it.
C
Maybe we podcast it.
B
Sure. Oh, wow. That's kind of interesting because I was like. I was like, I'd want to film it, but I don't like, want to show that on camera. So maybe we podcast it. What?
A
Do you know what actually happens in.
B
Well, I watched this guy do it.
A
Oh, you did?
B
And he just froze for like 10 minutes.
C
Is he saying anything?
B
No, no, no. He's like completely gone.
A
Laying Down.
B
No, it's almost like, like he looked like he just had like, almost a heart attack. And he was just like, kind of catching himself. But like very calm, Very calm. But like, eyes closed, not sleeping, just like kind of like he's obviously experiencing something in his head. Like he's having a vision, like from a movie or something.
C
And then when he came out of it, what happened?
B
He was groggy for a second. He had to like go walk outside. And then he kind of spoke about it right after. So I don't know, but I think people have. I'm like, I'm worried that I don't want to like a bad experience, but I also don't think I would put myself in that situation. Also. I do think that it helps you be connected more to nature, which is a good positive because I hate the fucking trees that my neighbor has that block my view. And I think if I can't get those trees down, I'm gonna do dmt. I think that's the only.
C
You walk outside, you're like, it's okay, it's okay, everyone's okay. That tree's okay, it can stay.
B
I knock on his door, I'm like, plant more. Yeah, more.
C
Trees are good. Trees are nice.
B
I don't know if anybody listening to this has had an experience with dmt.
C
Yeah.
B
I've yet to see a comment that's like, don't do this. Mm. Did you see that when you were researching?
A
Yeah. Cause that's what I was trying to find. I was like, what's the worst case scenario?
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I have, I didn't see anything like that.
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
So I was just like, okay, I'm gonna run it. I'm gonna do just once.
C
Yeah, I know, but what if it changes your personality? What if you don't?
B
You know what I mean? But it'd be so weird.
A
I don't think it like chemically changes anything within you. I think you just have an experience.
B
But Nat, if you're. But, but it does. If you're, if you're having, if you're living another life in your trip, you have, you have a full life of knowledge that now you have and that you're, you're going to be different. But I think whatever the change is. Yeah, it doesn't matter because it'll be for. It'll be what you. I want in that moment. Okay, so like, if I come out and all of a sudden I'm like a hippie going into the woods. Yeah, Right. Like, that is What I want to do. Right, Right. So I don't view it as a negative. I just viewed as like, it's life altering.
C
You sell all your worldly possessions, you give the house to choose.
B
You know, it's a problem when I. If I sell my Kids Choice award, if I come out of it and I look at that thing and I go, get rid of this. That's how, you know, you get a
C
Kia Soul, you start camping out of it, become one of those people, you get gauges in your ear.
B
It's really interesting, but I've been. Yeah, guys, listen, this podcast, I'm going to teach you a lot of things. I've been. I've been really polishing my facts. You want to hear more facts?
C
Yeah.
B
Okay. Well, did you know that this is an interesting way to think about things? That what's one of. What do you think is one of the rarest materials in the universe?
C
Placenta.
B
What? That's actually, honestly, probably a good answer. No, but like, you would say, like, like we. We would say diamonds, right?
C
Yeah.
B
Just because, like, that is like, kind of difficult to find, but like, other planets would maybe say, like, wood. Isn't that kind of crazy to think about?
C
We're flush with wood. Exactly.
B
Yeah. Like, if you visit another planet and you brought back my neighbor's tree.
C
Yeah.
B
For example, you'd be fucking loaded.
C
They don't admit. They also might look at it and be like, this is like, what is this?
B
No wood. I feel like diamond is like. Diamond has no purpose. Like, what purpose does diamond have other than, like pretty?
A
I mean, that is the only purpose.
C
Yeah, I mean, it's.
B
I feel like wood is like an organic. It's like life. I mean, it's. Is a diamond organic? It is.
C
Wood has more purpose because you build stuff with it.
B
You mean? I don't know. Yeah, I just think, like, things live in it.
C
You like diamond's net? You want a big rock one day
B
or would you like a big wood?
A
Just a big piece of wood. No, no. Yeah, I want a good sized diamond for sure.
B
Okay. Okay, sorry, I gotta keep going because there's a lot to cover here. Then I looked up paradoxes. I'm like, really into paradoxes. The guys, this already sounds like I did the dmt, but I didn't. This is. Speaking of wood, have you heard of the Theseus paradox?
A
No.
B
Okay, so it's the ship of Theseus is a thought experiment from ancient Greece. This is really fucking interesting. The story goes, the hero, Theseus had a wooden ship preserved for years, as planks rotted, they were replaced one by one until eventually every single piece of wood had been swapped out. So here's the question. If every part has been replaced, is it still the same ship? It's really interesting.
C
Whoa.
B
Is that not crazy? No, no. Let me expand that for you so you could really. So you could really understand it. Okay, now imagine someone collected all the original planks that they took off the ship and rebuilt the ship somewhere else using the old wood. Now you have two ships of Theseus. Which one is the real one? The one that kept its identity over time, or the one made of the original materials? Ooh, that's crazy wild.
A
What would you say? What's your.
B
I don't know. That's why it's a paradox. I think it's like a 50. I think that's insane.
C
It's like two ways of saying why
B
I needed a DMT so I can have the answers. And I. And apparently it's. It's, you know, it's. To have. It's. It's more than just about chips. It's about identity. Are you the same person you were 10 years ago, even though your cells have changed? Is a company the same company after leadership, employees and policies change? So, yeah, really interesting paradox.
C
Dave's going out there.
B
Yeah, I've just been researching this morning. I don't know, I just feel like.
C
You think you could, like, write a paper and like. Do you think you could take like a. Not that you would, but you could take a college class right now, do research and, like, write a paper?
B
No, because I don't like to, like, really get down to the bottom of things.
C
Oh, you just like to kind of pose the question and walk out of the room?
B
Yeah, Yeah.
C
I, like, think about this asshol.
B
I don't like the answer for myself either. I'm just, like, sick. Yeah. Like, isn't that crazy? And move on to the next one?
C
Yeah.
B
Did Peter kill himself? I don't know. I've been fucking out. No research. I don't want to communicate with SeaWorld or wherever they were doing this experiment or.
C
Peter, how do you fuck a dolphin?
B
Well, that's what I was also thinking. I was like, if I met a dolphin.
C
Yeah.
B
With, like the. Like, I remember, like, watching kids shows, like, as a kid. And, like, you're attracted to some of the cartoons, right? Like, that's like a thing.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, I can't even think of, like, cartoons.
C
Wonder Woman.
B
No, Wonder Woman wasn't like a cartoon. Like, I'm talking Like something she was. That's not even a human. Is there that. Can you do that with a dolphin? I don't know. I'm trying to put my head in the. Trying to put myself in the shoes of the scientist.
C
Well, there's the octopus.
B
And how smooth was, how smooth was this dolphin after taking this LSD where this scientist was like so charmed by this thing that I was like, I need to have sex with you.
A
Yeah, I don't know. Really strange.
B
What are you gonna say?
A
Well, I just. There was a. This is totally on a tangent, but there was a report that came out that just.
B
We've changed until just like delivering news.
A
So it took like the top 10 economies in the world. So the top 10 countries that are making the most amount of money. Right. And like what are the highest earning jobs in those countries? So for the. What do you think it is for
C
the U.S. oh, I saw this.
B
Wait, wait, say it again.
A
The top 10 highest earning countries in the world. So you have like the U.S. china, Germany, whatever. And then it took the, the, the highest earning job in that economy. So in the US what the highest earning job is in China?
B
What's the highest earning job? Like if you have it, it makes you the most money or it makes the country the most money?
A
No, what's making people the most money? Not, not necessarily like making the country rich or anything like that.
B
I don't really know how to answer.
C
What's the highest paid job in the United States?
B
Yeah. Oh, well, I don't know. That would be like. That would be the CEO of Amazon. I don't know how to answer this. What does that mean? Like there's people that make billions.
C
Like I guess, I guess he's, he raises a good point. He's like totally thwarting what you. What you're doing. Stupid ass.
A
I know you're like taking your.
C
Just tell him who the highest paid job is in the United States.
B
Being an influencer.
A
Reports suggest that the paying professions across the world's 40 largest economies differ significantly. Okay. In the US top earners reportedly include successful only fans. Creators. Only fans creators is the top like earning job in the U.S. okay.
B
Okay.
A
And then in China it's a tech executive. And then Japan it's a surgeon. India, there's AI engineers. UK is investment banking. France is also sort of.
B
I mean that is really interesting.
A
Everywhere else it's like the cliche, like technical jobs. And in the US it was OnlyFans creator.
B
Does that make you want to lean more into it?
A
No, I'M not like. I'm like, I've.
B
Dude, what a fucking crazy hack. No. Yeah. Onlyfans insane.
A
Yeah.
C
I mean, yeah. If I was a girl, I'd probably do it.
B
Probably do it, Jay. Come on. For sure, my dude. Probably do it. Yeah.
A
No, but it is. It's just crazy, like, how much the US like, values I can't really fathom.
B
Only fans. It's, like, very difficult for me to think it's, like, such a money glitch.
A
Yeah.
B
It's like you. Like, if you have some social media following, people do it without.
C
Right.
B
And still make, like, the rent easily. Yeah. Like, if you have social media following, you turn that on. It's fucking insanity. I guess I'm not thinking about, like, the downsides to it later, like, when
C
I wonder what percentage are, like, happy with it.
B
Yeah. I wonder how much of it is, like, you're really happy at first.
C
Yeah.
B
I think that's everybody, right. I feel there must be everybody because everybody gets the money. Like, I'm making so much money. And then you want what you don't have, and that is wanting to never have started. Only dance.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah. Like, that just kind of feels like it's. Unless you're also just super comfortable with what you do, and then you're just like, yeah, I do only. Which I think is the way to approach that.
C
Yeah.
B
Like, it's like, you do it. So what?
C
Yeah. We had a funny moment in the gym the other day. It was. We were all in the gym, and this guy was talking about how his dick smells, and
B
that's gross.
C
And then right at that moment, like, Natalie walked in, and it was really funny. And to pay you a compliment, I was like, I hope you know it was a compliment. I was like, well, that's the one girl that, like, you can't do a stink. Not feel bad about walking in on that combo.
A
It was like, five dudes around Natalie.
B
That was funny when we had that. We had that YouTuber that came by.
C
Yeah.
B
Natalie and I were, like, cutting a cake. Yeah. And we were trying to unbox a cake. Like, we couldn't get it open, and we couldn't get, like, the tape off the box. And he makes a comment, he goes, two dudes trying to open a cake.
A
And I was like, I'm a woman.
B
I thought it was so funny because he's obviously just, like, making a funny comment. But it was so. It's just clearly me and Natalie trying to open this thing.
A
So funny.
B
Okay, you want to go back to more learning Cuz I got you guys. Okay. Did you know I got the exact. So do you know the Lion King song?
A
Yes.
B
Did you see this?
A
I saw this.
B
This is crazy.
A
Crazy. Yeah.
B
This one T, you were way off. So these guys talk about the exact translation of what it is.
C
Okay.
B
Do you know what it is?
C
No.
B
Okay, listen to this. Listen, listen.
C
What does it mean?
B
It means, Luke, there's a lion. Oh my God. You're joking.
C
That is not what that means.
B
That is not what that means.
C
That's exactly what it means.
B
That's what it means. Look, there's a lion. Oh my God, look, there's a lion.
C
Oh my God.
B
That's crazy.
A
That's crazy.
B
Someone also translated Bad Bunny song the other day. Did you see that? That blew my mind.
C
What did it translate to?
B
It was like much Novia. You know that one?
A
Yeah, yeah.
B
And it's like. It's just like, I have a girlfriend but I want another. I want another Listening to you like, what is this Little beauty. Little beauty is coming through this. I mean, that's amazing. That's kind of. Actually the coolest part about music is that it could be that. Okay, Anyway, I'm not done. So guys, you could listen to this pod and if your parents think you're not doing anything productive, just fucking throw some facts at them.
C
Yeah.
B
First of all, Amazon rainforest. You know how big this thing is?
A
So big.
B
Yeah. Larger. Larger than the 48 states.
C
Oh my God.
B
Like here in the middle. Isn't that crazy? More than 60% of it is unexplored. Larger than 48. The 48 states.
C
Wow.
B
Come on, really let that sink in.
C
Wow.
B
Yeah. Okay, there's a fact. Okay, my last paradox.
C
I thought you were going to have more stuff about the Amazon.
B
There was more. I didn't really understand it. Okay, this is the paradox I don't really understand. So I'm going to need you guys to help explaining it. Have you heard of the Andromeda paradox?
C
No.
B
Okay, so basically it's you. You're sitting right where you're sitting, Jay. Okay. And you're looking at Andromeda. Right? You're looking at another galaxy in a distant galaxy. You're looking at it, and then I walk by you. Yeah. And I look at the same exact galaxy, but I'm in motion and you're sitting, standing still.
C
Right.
B
We are viewing the same galaxy through the same location, but we're seeing different times.
C
Because you're moving.
B
Because I'm moving. So. So, so does that make sense? We're both looking atromeda, that's 2.5 million light years away.
A
Like you guys are both sitting on Earth next to each other staring at a drama.
B
Okay, yeah, but I'm moving. Okay, okay. So right now in Andromeda, your viewpoint could be that aliens are debating whether to invade Earth and then me as I'm moving, what I'm seeing could be they've already decided and they've launched the ships. Yeah, isn't that crazy? Staring at both descriptions are equally valid depending on your motion. So if we could see that far. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like if you had a telescope that was moving, and this is because time and space are linked together. Events that are simultaneous for one observer are not simultaneous for another moving observer. The difference grows with distance. Since Andromeda is absurdly far away, even tiny differences in walking speed create huge differences in what counts as now over there. Isn't that crazy?
C
You sound like he did the DMT
B
already, but this is what I'm just trying to paint the. The picture of what's going on on my for you page. I'm being fucked left and right here. Something's going on. I'm all I'm getting. All I'm getting is that aliens are here and they're among us. Like it's like really fucking scary what's going on. Yeah, my. Yeah, my for you page is sending me on a trip that I don't think I'll be able to like recover from.
C
All I get is CIA stuff.
B
Really? Yeah. Like what?
C
There's this guy named John Kirakawa. He sets all my for your pages. He's just like an ex CIA agent that it's just telling you about the CIA on every single podcast everywhere you go.
B
He's like a whistleblower.
C
Yeah. And he went to jail.
A
Oh, wow.
B
And how is that allowed?
C
Well, someone made a good point which was like, you know, you think he's telling secrets, but if he was really telling secrets, he would not be telling secrets.
B
But that's exactly that. Like, that's also like a point that people have used to oppose someone like a Bob Lazar. Yeah, like if. Yeah, yeah, if he was killed, then everything was verified, right? Uh huh. But if you just kind of let him talk, no one's ever going to. You know, I mean, I think we're. I think we're especially at the point where anybody can say anything. So if there is a CIA whistleblower, unless he's. Unless even. Even if he has a video of him cite of him inside, like speaking to Aliens. No one will ever believe in it. Like, you do. What? I mean.
C
Yeah, yeah.
B
Like, now any information could be leaked anywhere and people will be like, one, you're either crazy. Two, it could be AI. Like, it doesn't matter. And the CIA is obviously smart enough to be like, if you have a whistleblower, you just let him go. Yeah. You let him talk about whatever.
C
Yeah. This kind of stuff he's talking about, it's not aliens. It's like, you know, the way that the government conducts themselves.
B
Yeah. But, like.
C
Right. Is it true?
B
Who cares? Just the same way I'm bringing up things.
C
Yeah.
B
Who cares?
C
Well, I do feel that way with people now, where it's like, we've gotten. There's so much coming at us that.
B
That's what's.
C
That's what people are saying. Who cares?
B
It's like, I'm so frustrated about Is like, what are you supposed to, like, latch on to now?
C
Yeah.
B
Like, back in the 2000s, still the 2000s, the early 2000s, like, you'd watch a documentary and you'd be like, did you see this document? Like, everything was so factual. Yeah. Even though it may have not been, but, like, it was still limited to, like, how many people can create a documentary. Yes. Anybody could say fucking anything. And, like, there's a new conspiracy and there's a new whistleblower and there's a new time traveler and there's a new alien visitor. Like, it's just like. It's like, so you're, like, being so overwhelmed with information that, like, is it
C
the end of civilization?
B
Dude, that's what I'm. That's what I'm so scared about. That's why I'm like, I need to take this fudgeing hit of this DMT and I need to tell you guys what's going on.
C
You're going to come back and be like, yes, it is. Yeah, is the end.
B
But it's like, is that not spooky? Like, where does. Where. Where do things go?
C
What do you mean? Where do things go?
B
Where? Like. Like everything's just, like, everything's so overwhelming. Everything's so overwhelming. Every piece of information is so overwhelming that it's all underwhelming.
C
Right. Right.
B
Natalie's reaction to when I was like, Obama just said that there's aliens. Natalie was like, yeah, don't we know that nobody gives a fuck anymore. There's a lunar eclipse yesterday happening over la. And I told. I told Alex. I was like, I've already seen lunar eclipse. Yeah, that's the lamest thing ever. When I was a kid. When I was a kid, I would fucking wait for a lunar eclipse for like months.
C
Boring.
B
Yeah. And Next I was 20 minutes away from the lunar eclipse and I'm like, I'm just popping my melatonin, I'm going to bed. I just, like, don't care because I'm like, I'm seeing so many things. I literally texted Alex back. I was like, the moon's not real. There's. It's an alien spacecraft. I don't. I don't need to see it turn red.
C
You've come full circle here. Now I know why you want to do the dmt. You need a hard reset.
B
Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what I need.
C
You can put your phone down a
B
little bit if you're a longtime listener. Well, at least the last two week listener, you'll know that. I was in a big paddle tournament here in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California, Sherman Oaks. It didn't go so well. I lost. Yep. The first day went incredible. I won three matches.
C
Okay.
B
And the second day, which just happened an hour ago. Yeah, I took Jason with me. Yeah. I took John with me. John has been with me through this entire time. This is what I want to get into. This is why I'm bringing all this up. So it cost $1200 to enter the tournament, and if you win the tournament, you win six grand. If you get to the semis, you win your money back and so forth. Right. Okay. So I was like, john, I already paid the 1200, but if you want to Venmo me, I'll get you in. Like, if you give me 200, then you'll 6x your money.
C
Whatever.
B
The same way I would. Right. Like, you can buy equity in my stake. So John was like kind of 50, 50. And then the first day comes around. I haven't played paddle in months. So he was kind of like, I don't know, Dave, I don't know. Then he gets to the first. Why are you making I sound like that? He gets to the first day and I'm about to play my match. I'm like, john, you got to let me know right now, are you putting money in or not? And he's like, I don't know. Then he watches me play my first match and we win. And then he's still kind of, I don't know. And then midway through the second match, apparently that's when he makes his decision. He's like, okay, Dave, I'm going to bet $200. And then at the end of all three matches on my first day, all of a sudden, Taylor's now, put in money. Mike's put in money now. Now I'm only one match away from winning money back. So I'm like, john, this is gambling. Like, you just waited for when the odds were completely different and put money in. And then yesterday, Jon's entire mood changes. He's like, dave, you win this whole fucking tournament. It's obvious now. I saw you play, and now he's
C
got something riding on it.
B
Yeah. And I'm. Well, not only that, but he just. Like, his, like, belief system has changed. I'm like, john. And I hate when Jon says things during sports, like, even. Okay, so first match, or. Sorry, the second match, I come off, we split sets. So in the middle of the match. But I won the first set. And John's like, okay, so the next game, you guys are playing these guys. And I'm like, john, we're in the middle of a game. It's not over. Like, John just doesn't. John will, like, explain it to be fair. To be fair. That was your weakest, weakest opponent. Dude, it doesn't matter. I've been talking to that guy the whole time. It doesn't matter. John's never played a competitive sport. Yeah. So, like. So I think his.
C
I was having trouble. It was my first paddle, and I was going through John to understand what was going on. It was. You were all over the place. I was like, is it.
B
Wait, Al. Explain how. But he sounds confident explaining it.
C
Yeah, I was like, no. I go. I go, if the ball. If the golf. If the ball goes past the line on a return, that's okay, right? And he's like, no, no, that's not okay. And then I watched David do it, and I was like, no, that is okay. And he's like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, that is okay. I was like, what?
B
When David does. Yes. Explain John. Like, he'll make a prejudgment about something. Yeah. He bases everything on. And we're also. This is also Call of Duty.
C
Yeah.
B
So, like, he's dialed back on it because we scream at him for this. But we'll. Like, almost every weekend, all the hometown friends get together. We get in a lobby of six players, and we go play Search and Destroy against other people. And the second John sees that they're high ranks, John loses his shit. John goes, we should back out. We should back out. And I'm like, john, we've been playing this game since we were fucking 11. We've been playing this game for literally longer than we've been doing anything our entire lives. More than I've had a career. More than I. Honestly, more than I've spoken English correctly.
C
Probably better Call of Duty than sex.
B
Yeah, a thousand percent. I'm better at Call of Duty than sex. I'm like, jon, shut the fuck up. I don't care what rank they are. Like, we're going into this and we're going to fuck. But he just makes so many assumptions going in. And then same opposite. He'll see low ranks, and he'll automatically be like, we got them. And it's just like a crazy mental thing. And so then yesterday. Yesterday, after the three matches, Jon was, like, so confidently putting in the $200, and I was like. I told him this was on my snap. I was like, jon, I. I didn't do this for that reason. But I'm like, jon, I want to throw the game tomorrow just to teach you a lesson about all this.
C
Yeah.
B
Like, you're coming in. This isn't how things work. It's match by match. You should have been here at the beginning. Like, you're a bandwagon gambler, which I've never even should be illegal. There's no such thing as being a bandwagon gambler. And still getting the same good od. He's seeing the rest of the table's hand. Yeah. Anyway, so, yeah, I lost today.
C
And you were pissed at him on the way home.
B
Yeah, I was. Yeah. I was like, john, you cost me the game. You did say that. I did say. I said 50% of it was John's fault, 25% mine, 25% my partners.
C
And he was al. He was yelling at John on the way home, and he was like, because you said that I had it in the bag.
B
I wasn't even looking at the quarterfinals. I was looking at the finals.
C
Were you even watching any other matches?
A
Yeah, I was.
B
No, no, he wasn't. He was just basing off, like. He's basing it off. Like, what name sounded more Spanish, possibly was a better paddle player? No. And he was telling me in the car, he's like, I already was telling my girlfriend Julia about, like. Like, hey, when I win this money, I'm gonna. We're gonna go here, we're gonna travel here. I'm like, there's a level of. Like, there's a level of manifestation that, you know, that I kind of understand. But, like, John's is, like. Is just like. I don't even know how to describe it. I don't know. He's also a big. Like, he focuses only on the result, not the process of, like, if there was any luck to get or, like. You know what I mean? Yeah. He has a very, very interesting way of going about competitive things. Like, we'll be playing pickleball, and he'll be like. He'll be, like, with his partner, and he'll notice his partner, like, run for a ball. Yeah. And then John will go, oh, you're a chaser. And it's like. Like, he'll deem. Like, it's like if you're playing Mortal Kombat and there's, like, attributes to a player, and it's like, okay, so you'll be the chaser for this game. So you'll chase down the balls. Like, that's not a position in pickleball. Like, nobody's deemed the chaser, but, like, John, like, looks at things in, like, such a bizarre way where John loves to not move. John loves to not move. Hmm. Interesting. You're the chaser. I'll be the stander back here. But, yeah. Anyway. Yeah. Like, obviously, I'm pretty fired up. Yeah. We lost, so. But what is interesting, and I kind of wanted you to explain to me of why I feel this way. I was explaining this to John. Not really. I was explaining. This is like, my friends yesterday. I don't know to who, but I was like, when I was in the tournament, I was like, there's nothing more in life right now that matters to me. Well, more than this tournament. Yeah. And I've never felt something about something so insignificant. I realized that I was like, what's so crazy is all I can do is think about this. Like, even when I was playing Call of Duty last night. Yeah. My mind was else. Like, I was like, I. I. For the first time, I didn't care about Call of Duty.
C
Wow.
B
And I was like. And it's so. I've never been a part of something so insignificant since my childhood. Yeah. That mattered so much.
C
Why do you think it mattered so much?
B
I don't know. I think it's because, like, it takes me back to, like, playing tournaments as a kid. Like, when you're playing a tournament as a kid, that is the only thing that matters to you in your life. There's nothing. There's no taxes.
C
Yeah.
B
There's no. Most. Especially me, because I look like a loser. There's no girlfriend trouble. There's. There's no. There's. You're not thinking about Anything other than the game.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah. And I think for the first time in a really long time, and I've played another tournament a year before where I kind of had the same feeling. It's just like. It like, literally takes you back to, like. Like the base root of what it is to. To feel something. It's so crazy. I mean, Al, I think you know this. You know this feeling, I don't know, from, like, basketball or something. Right. It's like being part of something. Like, that was a neighborhood tournament, but, like, to me, it was like, it. I'm not trying to be funny, but it felt like the US Open. The. Simultaneously as it would feel like the US Open. It also, I was like, this is so crazy. I lose tomorrow, nothing changes. Like, I don't lose a brand deal.
C
No.
B
I don't lose a job. Right. I don't lose my house. Like, nothing changes.
C
I think there is something in that. To be able to, like, could go back to your childhood like that, and to be that, like, when we're focused on things. I read this thing, like, if you go. A lot of people, if they go, like, on vacation and they sit in a chair, they're like. They're more nervous. Your brain's actually more nervous just sitting there doing nothing. That's why people play golf. That's why people.
B
Oh, that's interesting.
C
So I think when you're. When you can, like, glom onto something like that.
B
Oh, that's interesting.
C
I think it. It. It gives you probably a focus, a purpose. It gives you everything that you need, and. And that's why it's so important to you, I think. And you probably are getting a crazy endorphins, and I can see why it would be important to you just to reactivate that in yourself and to have that be dormant for so long in your body and to be back out there like, this fucking matters. It's amazing.
B
It's really funny. And everyone there is so passionate about it. Oh, everyone's so passionate. You should have been there yesterday. Yeah. Really, Everyone takes it really seriously.
C
Was it louder yesterday? Because I felt like it was really quiet today.
B
I would say the players were definitely quieter today than yesterday. Yesterday, like, you. I felt like.
C
And then I couldn't hear you, and I was asking you.
B
Yesterday was different. Yesterday, because they were all four. The first day was all four teams were on one court, and everyone got to play. Everybody. So everyone kind of everyone was watching each other and, like. And then at the end, one team was rooting for us. Yeah. Because if we beat that team, then they would finally get through because, like, how the score work. So it was like, oh, everybody was there and everybody was paying attention to every game. It was very, very different. Have you learned anything, John? Yeah. Next time I'm going to sponsor you, I give it to you, show up to the games, won't say anything about the outcomes, and we'll do it step by step. Yeah, it's just like, you know what?
C
Matter of fact, it's just like, focus on the task at hand.
A
The task.
B
It's play by play. It's every point. It's like, you're up, we're up. Five, zero, whatever it is in the set to six. Yeah. Like, it is not over. To me, that's all in the bag.
C
Yeah, but to me, you do everything right the next time. And they would be like, john, fucking say something.
B
No, for sure, for sure. 100%. The worst. The worst is when it would, like, get like, John doesn't have a whispering voice. Yeah. So, like, when it gets. When it gets tight, that's obviously when people are actually paying attention and they're, like, curious. That's when John has to explain it to the person next to him. So it's like the worst timing because, like, that's when I'm the most tense and I hear John the most. I was.
C
I was asking John questions through the whole thing, and I couldn't hear anything like, oh, you're right, he doesn't know how to whisper because there was no. There was no noise coming out of your mouth.
B
Oh, no, I heard it all.
C
Oh, you could hear John?
B
Yeah, yeah. But I don't hear his words. I just hear, like, there's one syllable of every word that for some reason, like, you can't have the entire word be silenced. He has to. It's. Where are you? I'm just hearing, like, little Morse codes of his voice. And yeah, obviously, like, John does one thing and I miss a pawn, I blame it on him. 100. I remember when we went to New York, you had your pickleball. The singles tournament. Yeah, that one. That would even get mad at me because I would react to his points.
C
What would you say?
B
We just cheer him on. He would win. A good point would be like, yeah, let's go, dad. And he'd be like, shut the fuck up, you whore. What are you doing? That's really funny. I mean, that's why I genuinely sucked at tennis. I couldn't get through anything because I was just, like, so hyper analyzing everybody that was watching and it was only like, three or four people watching at a time.
C
Yeah.
B
And if, like, like, my mom looked away for a second or my dad points over, like, I'm losing.
C
Really?
B
Yeah. Or like, like, Alex, during the pickleball tournament, you would, like, walk around the court. Like, you'd, like, take three steps to the left or right, and I'd literally be like, stay fucking put. I have no. I have no chance. I'm just, like, the worst mental player.
C
Wow.
B
When it comes to, like, tennis is probably the most mental game. And I, unfortunately, am, like, the worst mental guy when it comes to racket sports, so I could never get it.
C
What is that? It's just distracting.
B
I don't know.
C
You know, that's like a theme with you. Like, if Alex got up to go to the bathroom the other night, that upset, you know?
B
Yeah.
C
If I. If I went on. If we're doing the podcast and I'm, like, not looking at you, you get upset. It's really interesting.
B
That's exactly why I couldn't be a time. It's. It's full blown that I genuinely think I could have gone pro. Yes. If I didn't have, like, like, mental issues that wasn't gonna have to go pro. But, like. Yeah. That is a big part.
C
Wow.
B
Yeah.
C
And that house was insane. Such a nice house. Oh, my goodness.
B
Last night, yesterday when we played, when I was playing my tournament, Woody Harrelson was watching, which is really. No way. Yeah. That was so crazy to me. Yeah. I was like, wow, that's a guy. I tried. Oh, like, yo, if this guy came up to me right now and asked me three movies, I'd be like, fucked. I'm like, now you see me, now you see me, now you don't now see me. The Japanese version where they look for Nihau.
C
Imagine if Woody Harrelson did just walk up to you and ask you that.
B
Yeah. While David's playing, every celebrity just tries to find John in the Wild. Name three of my movies. That'd be so funny. So funny. Yeah. Well, yeah. I'm bummed you came out to, like, the worst match.
C
No, I had a blast. Drove over in the car. You don't understand what it's like to be me.
B
Oh. Like little things.
C
Even just an outing is like. It's like, you know, you go to the old folks home, you take your grandpa out.
B
Well, I don't ever.
C
He's just, like, loving looking out the window. You know what I mean? My bar.
B
I don't ever leave the house either, so. That I agree with you on there.
C
Yeah.
B
Like, there's no reason for me to go anywhere in LA other than like if I'm going to dinner or to go out, which I don't really do that often.
C
Right.
B
So, like, it is nice to have like a daytime activity.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right, guys, that's all the time we have for his podcast. Go check out Jason's daily vlogs, go check out Just Somebody Venmo John for the money he lost, and then go check out DJ Renfrey's Beats Music. It's sick on SoundCloud. Go check it out. Episode: David Wants to Go to Another Dimension
Date: March 4, 2026
In this lively and introspective episode, David Dobrik reveals his curiosity about trying DMT—a powerful psychedelic—while Jason Nash and Natalie (Nat) react with a mix of fascination and concern. The conversation unfolds into a wide-ranging exploration of psychedelic experiences, conspiracy theories, personal obsessions, and the peculiarities of modern internet culture. The episode is packed with off-beat facts, deep dives into paradoxes, and comedic banter about their recent paddle tournament and everyday observations.
David's Announcement: David opens by surprising his co-hosts with his intention to try DMT, explaining he’s been "seeing a lot about it" and feels compelled to experience it.
“This may be my final podcast before I try DMT.” — David, [00:36]
Research and Motivation:
“Participants use the same words to describe them. Machine elves, light beings, insectoid aliens, jesters, higher intelligence. They heard things like this from them, ‘We’ve been waiting for you,’ ... ‘We’re glad you made it back.’” — David, [05:20]
Potential Life-Changing Effects:
"This guy...lived a full life with his wife and children and family...in 15 minutes." — David, [06:23]
Safety, Legality, and Risks:
David describes how his "For You" TikTok page is filled with wild theories, including the moon being a space station.
“It’s like, really worrying me. Like, I’m starting to believe that the moon is fake. It’s a space station...pulled here.” — David, [10:16]
Both hosts riff on the overwhelming amount of pseudoscience, whistleblowers, and conspiracy content online, expressing both amusement and concern over the erosion of trust and the overstimulation of modern life.
“There’s so much coming at us...everything’s so overwhelming, every piece of information is so overwhelming that it’s all underwhelming.” — David, [29:01]
Ship of Theseus Paradox:
"If every part has been replaced, is it still the same ship?" — David, [15:18]
Andromeda Paradox:
“Your viewpoint could be that aliens are debating whether to invade Earth...for me...they’ve already launched the ships.” — David, [25:02]
"They had to stop doing the experiments because one of the scientists started having sex with one of the dolphins named Peter. And so they had to shut down the experiments. The scientist could no longer see Peter. And then afterwards, Peter killed himself." — David, [02:59]
David shares viral "did-you-know" facts, such as:
“That’s what it means. ‘Look, there’s a lion!’” — David, [22:46]
Discussion about the world’s rarest materials and how, on some planets, wood might be more valuable than diamonds.
“In the US, top earners reportedly include successful OnlyFans creators.” — Natalie, [19:06]
David becomes deeply invested in a neighborhood paddle tournament, drawing parallels between childlike obsession and adult competition.
“There’s nothing more in life right now that matters to me more than this tournament. And I’ve never felt something about something so insignificant.” — David, [36:49]
Comedic storytelling about friends’ bandwagon gambling, John’s quirky approach to sports and games, and the mental challenges of competition.
David humorously admits his hypersensitivity to spectators’ behavior and the mental strain it adds.
"If, like, my mom looked away for a second or my dad points over, like, I'm losing." — David, [41:51]
Jason’s gym story about guy talk and Natalie’s comic timing.
The YouTuber cake unboxing moment:
"He makes a comment, he goes, two dudes trying to open a cake. And I was like, I'm a woman." — Natalie & David, [21:53]
Woody Harrelson watching David’s paddle match.
“Yesterday when I was playing my tournament, Woody Harrelson was watching...” — David, [42:52]
David (on DMT):
“I have to take a leap of faith...People that do DMT all kind of track and say almost the same exact thing happens.” [01:11]
Jason (on OnlyFans):
“If I was a girl, I’d probably do it.” [19:54]
David (on Overexposure):
“Everything’s so overwhelming...that it’s all underwhelming.” [29:01]
Jason (on childhood and sports):
“I think there is something in that...to go back to your childhood like that...it gives you everything that you need.” [38:31]
