David
What's up, guys? Welcome back to View. We just posted a vlog. Now we're back here in action with my favorite people. Jason. Natalie.
Natalie
Yay.
David
Why are you laughing, Jay?
Jay
Instagram study finds people who frequently post about their workouts are more likely to have psychological problems.
David
That makes sense.
Natalie
I mean, it adds up.
David
Shout out.
Jason
Ilia.
David
That adds up for sure. Don't even. Don't start me down this rabbit hole this early in the pod.
Jay
But I could also. I could also say that he's probably. He looks to be the most stable one out of all of you.
David
Yeah.
Jay
Yeah. I mean, he is in there doing his job with a smile on his face. He's in a good mood. He's working out. This morning.
David
Yesterday, him and Natalie got into, like, a big fight.
Jay
Okay.
David
And, like, Natalie crashed out on him.
Jay
Oh, God.
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
What was the fight about?
David
Okay. She goes, yo, I'm not gonna lie. Being around Natalie is super unenjoyable. That's what he said. She's a constant negative energy. I realize I'm a pain in the ass, but it doesn't give her the right to talk to me that way. Hold on, hold on, hold on. And then I go, I get it, I get it. I think it's my fault because unfortunately, that's how I talk to her. So I think it kind of becomes a way we all communicate. He goes, yeah, but she comes from a place where she actually means it. But, yes, if we're talking about ultimate accountability, it does come down to you. But I'm not gonna blame you for her actions. Ha, ha, ha, ha.
Natalie
For sure. No, it. It's the boy on boy gang up on the ground.
Jay
How do you talk to him?
David
It's really funny.
Natalie
Well, I went off on him yesterday, but.
David
Okay.
Natalie
But it's also cumulatively, like, a lot
David
of things, to be fair, you went off on him in front of a lot of people. That was the problem, I think. Like, it doesn't matter if you're doing that with us. It was the. I've never seen the house this full. I think There was, like, 15 people, and they all, like, had some sort of association or tie with us. Like, they all worked with us in some way.
Jay
Right.
David
So it was a big argument. It was nothing out of the ordinary,
Jason
but it was just the fact that
David
I think it was in front of other people.
Jay
Do you think there's sort of a weird kind of discrepancy there between when, like, a woman takes down a man in front of everybody?
David
It's fucked up. What do you mean?
Jay
I didn't even say anything that bad. I'm not saying it's right.
Jason
No, you didn't say anything bad.
Natalie
I called him a bitch.
David
That's just completely fine.
Jay
But he's been a bit.
David
I've been actually thinking about, like, how much easier it is. Here's the thing that I've realized that I think is kind of nice, like, working with friends. Like, the positive about it is you can, like, argue your way through things, I think.
Jay
Sure.
David
Like, you can get out all your anger by calling people the nastiest words.
Jay
Right.
Jason
I don't think you can do that
David
in a regular work environment.
Jay
I think it's, like, people.
David
There would be, like, lawsuits filed.
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
I think it might be tough, too, for people to understand who are listening. Like, you guys, like, went to high school together. You guys are like.
Natalie
I've known Ilya since I was 8 years old.
Jay
Yeah. For sure. Close, Close.
David
Close to the nasty six each other. But that's why when there are other employees in the room, especially who are new.
Jay
Yeah.
David
Like. And I've done this millions of times where Natalie's like, you can't say that when we're right. Other people.
Natalie
Yeah.
David
We have to turn it back. And yesterday Natalie slipped up and was a little crazy.
Natalie
That was my fault.
Jay
She called you a bitch?
Natalie
No, no.
David
Just fucking negative. Nancy.
Natalie
Well, there's just a lot going on, and I just. I would. My frustration is that I wish that everybody was just, like, working together in unison, like, on the same. We're all working towards the same. Go. Trying to make videos we're trying to do.
Jason
This is what set her off.
David
Ilya, like, Ilio. Ilya booked. So we had. We had, like, a Cinco de Mayo thing planned.
Jason
Yeah.
David
And we moved it.
Jay
Yeah.
David
Because. Because the weather wasn't good. So now it's on the 7th today.
Jay
Okay.
Jason
And.
David
And Ilya didn't know that. So he had a date planned in Newport with his girlfriend. And I was like, please, like, can you just, like, stay for this party? Cause we're gonna film and we're gonna, like, do stuff all day.
Jason
Yeah.
David
He's like, I can't move it. And I was like, whatever room you have, I'll pay for the change if there's a change fee, and I'll upgrade your room. And then Natalie lost her shit.
Natalie
I was like, why does he get
David
rewarded all the time for being a fucking jackass?
Jay
Oh, this is what it was about.
David
Which makes total sense.
Jay
Right?
David
But at the same time, like, Ilya is not as tied in to me as Natalie is. Like. Like, Natalie, like, receives direct benefits when we're working, Ilya doesn't. But in other news, we just posted a video I've been keeping a secret for a long time. I bought a new car.
Jay
It's a great video.
David
Yes. Martin Valhalla.
Natalie
Thanks.
David
It was a. It's one of those more low key ones.
Jay
How come when I said you great video to you out there, you, like, grunted at me?
David
Well, I always grunt.
Jay
It's just like such a. It's just such a fuck you to the face. Because then. Then you grunt. And then I'm like, oh, he thinks I'm being insincere, but I was being sincere. And then it's just like, all right,
David
I guess I just don't believe. I just. Bella, yesterday I walked down the stairs, I posted the video. Fifteen minutes later, Bella goes, great video. And I go, you didn't watch it? And she goes, no, no, I haven't yet.
Jay
Well, I watched it.
David
No, I know, I know, I know. But I'm just like.
Jason
I don't know.
David
A great video to me is like somebody saying, you look great today or something. And it's like, thank you. Not like a real. Not like a real compliment, but I.
Jay
That is a real compliment. You're doing great today.
David
But I really know you.
Jay
Yeah.
David
So, like, so in my words.
Jay
Bullshit. Used to get so mad at me when I would say, great video, and then a minute later I'd say, scott, great video.
David
Really?
Jay
I'D say, dave, that video was awesome. And then two minutes later like, Scott, your video is great. And David like, what the fuck?
Natalie
Oh, that's funny. I do wish you were a more
Jason
glass halfway Scott this weekend.
Jay
Okay.
Mom
We should.
Jason
I love to surprise him. Oh, fuck. We probably doesn't listen to this. No, nobody tell them.
David
Nobody tell me.
Jason
That'd be really fun.
Jay
Sure.
Natalie
I love that.
Jay
I always ask Scott to come and
Jason
just go to Newport's a vibe.
Jay
Okay.
Jason
Wow, that's sick. Okay, let's do that. Anyway, so I got this car, very expensive. I'm gonna justify it here on the pod because I. I saw one comment, or maybe it was a dm. I was like, why do you always talk about how you're like, how you're like very frugal with your money and like, I am. But this is my thought process behind this car, okay? It's very expensive car. It's cats out of the bag. It was like 1.2. It's very stupid. My accountant approved it first of all, which is a crazy thing for my accountant to approve. Yeah, he does not approve fucking anything. But he's like, I've talked to car people and they're telling me that if you've gotten this allocation from Aston, you should take it. This car will hold its value if not go up. So he was all hands on deck for it. Okay, now this is the way I saw it. I don't think I'm going to have this car for long. I asked Aston, I was like, is there a legal thing for me? Can I, can I sell this thing the second I walk out the door?
David
And they're like, well, we don't, we wouldn't want you to do that.
Jason
But you're allowed to, which normally you're not allowed to, right? And to this day, I've already gotten offers that are 100 or 200 over the price I bought it for. Now do I want to hold it for like, I want to have it for the summer and like enjoy it? Probably, yeah. So I'll probably end up like breaking even on it and just getting the money back that I spent or it'll go even up further in a couple months. And the other way I like, I. I've justified this is every time I have a brand deal, it goes into the video. So whether the video is we're all traveling and I have to pay for the, for the flights and, and the house we stay in, which ends up being, you know, 80, $90,000 or whatever, or we surprise someone with a Car or something.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
So instead of doing that this time, the money went into this car that, that in the future I will get rid of. Therefore I will break even.
David
And this is the first video I've
Jason
spent no money on. Wow.
Jay
What great math.
Jason
That's how I'm grill.
Jay
Math gymnastics.
Jason
This is my only video that actually cost me nothing
David
because I got a
Jason
big purchase out of it that is going to disappear and I will make the money back from it.
Jay
I can't. Huh. You like the car?
David
I love the car.
Jason
I genuinely think it's the best car I've ever sat in. Driven. I think it's. I think it's a piece of art. I like looking at it more than I like driving it.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
I'll be on the road and I'll be like, I need to pull over just so I can stare at this thing.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
I like, I think, I think it really, really is stunning.
Jay
Have you taken it anywhere fun? Probably the most fun. What I saw was maybe like driving it up the coast.
Jason
Yeah. No, no, that's fun.
Natalie
It is the most beautiful looking car I've ever seen.
Jay
Yeah.
Natalie
And I really didn't like, when we were deciding like colors and stuff, David was asking everybody and I was like, I don't know about this iridescent emerald. Like, it sounds kind of spooky and you don't really know what it's going to look like.
David
Yeah.
Natalie
I was scared about it, but it is so beautiful.
Jay
Yeah.
David
I'm really stoked. But it's. As much as I love it, I will never be able to compute a car that expensive.
Natalie
Yeah.
David
It's just like, it's, it's, it scares me. It scares me. In my garage. I'm like, what if the second floor falls on.
Jason
On the car?
Jay
Yeah.
David
I mean, I didn't think I'd have like a fear about it, but. But I do.
Natalie
Even just like hitting a rock on the highway. It's just like things that are like unpredictable.
Jason
Yeah. Yeah.
David
So if you're wondering how long I'll have it for, not long.
Jay
Right.
David
But I will be, I will enjoy it for a little. I think I'll put like 2,000 miles on or something around there. Or I'll work out a deal with
Jason
someone now who like wants it in the future and I'll be like, I'll sell it to you. Let's lock in the price now.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
If it goes down, sorry. If it goes up, sorry for me. But I'll sell it to you in like three months. Officially. Like after my Birthday or something?
David
Yeah.
Jay
Excited for your birthday?
Natalie
I'm excited.
Jason
Yeah. I'm excited. 30. Natalie's planning it again.
Jay
Does it feel to turn 30?
David
So someone's.
Jason
I saw, like, a breakdown of, like, ages yesterday and, like, how, like, 23 is old, 23's 22's young, 23 is old, 24 is young, 25 is medium, 26 is old, 27 is sexy. Oh, 28 is young. And 29 is old. And 30s young. And I. And I really with that.
Natalie
That's interesting.
Jason
2029 is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. No, no, 29 is definitely old.
Jay
We talking about 29 is.
Natalie
It just sounds good. Old.
Jason
No, 29 is like, oh, my God, you're. It's the end of your chapter. But 30 is, like, it's the beginning of your 30s. Oh, completely. It's a completely different vibe.
Jay
I see, like, 30.
Jason
You're going to accept that you're.
David
You're at the beginning. You're at the beginning of a. Of the first digit.
Jay
I like myself way more after 35.
Natalie
Really?
Jay
Way more. So much easier. Life is so much easier.
David
I can't imagine that. I'm trying to think, like, what I miss about being younger. Like, I miss, like, high school.
Jay
Sure.
David
Obviously. Have I talked about this?
Natalie
Let's.
Jay
Not a little bit.
David
You know what I loved about high school, I would cheat on every time I would go back to. I don't know. I'm trying.
Jay
Do you feel yourself, like, drifting away from that? Like, your love of high school?
David
No, not that, but I do feel myself. I mean, this has been, like, a common theme here of, like, drifting away from things. I've, like, drinking.
Jay
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We were talking about that the other day. Off pod. Yeah, yeah. Like, we were talking about. I liked when we were talking about how you were like, I don't really know what to do. Remember, like, socially. Well, he was saying, like, you know, he's like. I was saying, like, well, you might be kind of done with partying, you know, and that's like, a growing pain that I definitely went through or I think people go through. Like, you get to the point where you're like, oh, like I told David, like, I was living in New York City, and I was like, oh, you know what? I think I'm done with, like, going to bars and stuff. I'm going to move.
Natalie
Yeah.
David
And it really does suck.
Jay
Yeah, it's tough. It's.
David
It's the only way, like, now I don't think I could be like, yo, we're going out this Friday. The only way it could be like, is if a dinner turns great or something. Or like, I don't even go to dinner. So it's like a crazy thing. But, like, if just like a night magically becomes really good, I think that's the only way for me to drink. I don't think I can, like. Like two years ago even, I used to be like, there's two big parties this weekend. One on Friday, one on Saturday, right? And I would fucking be out till seven in the. And then I'd go to paddle at my friend's house at like, noon. Like, I was just like. I was like a tank. But then I. Then it just like, I can't do it anymore.
Jay
You got me in huge trouble the other day on the pod, Dave.
David
What did you say?
Jay
Big trouble. I said, remember you asked me if I believed in soulmates?
David
Yes. What did you say?
Jay
I was like, no, not really.
David
Oh, that's funny.
Jay
And then rarely, she'll. She'll listen to the podcast.
David
Who got mad? Marnie or Naveen?
Jay
It's. No, I went out with the guys last night and my friends who are my age.
Jason
With the guys? Yeah.
David
The fuck.
Jay
I went out with my friends who are my age. Who, Who, Who? Jeff and Paul.
David
Oh, those are like your best buds.
Jay
Yeah. And then I came home and she was like, I listen to the podcast.
Jason
You ever do that?
Jay
You ever say something on the podcast it gets you in trouble?
David
I'm sorry. I'm, like, more baffled at this. You going out with your friends of your own age.
Jay
Oh, yeah, it was crazy.
David
Who called that together? I did.
Jay
I did. I'm.
State Farm Representative
I'm.
Jay
I've. I'm a changed man. I'm.
David
How long were you out for? Our conversation, 45 minutes.
Jay
I was out till 10:15, 10:30.
David
What did you guys do? Like, get a beer?
Jay
No, we went to Marvino. We went to like, this Stilly Dan themed restaurant and we sat still and we had shrimp enchiladas and how Steely
David
Dan themed things are there. Are you just always referencing the same thing?
Jay
No, I told you about this.
David
Okay.
Jay
It was this restaurant I was in one day and the guy was like, yeah, it's a Steely Dian themed restaurant. And I was like, what? I was like, you're fucking kidding. And then I talked to the owner and he's like. I'm like, I can't believe you made this.
David
So you took your friends there?
Jay
It took my friends. Yeah.
David
That's really cute. Yeah.
Jay
So anyways, I don't even know what I was talking about. Oh. But then. So then I got in trouble when I got home. You ever say something on the pod and then you get in trouble?
David
Look by, like, a girl that I've seen. I have no idea.
Jay
I don't know anybody.
David
You're like.
Jay
Your mom calls you. She's like, why are you talking?
David
Oh, yeah, my parents.
Jason
Sure.
Jay
Yeah. Like, one time on my other podcast, I said. I said, like, very flippantly. I was like. I was like, oh, yeah. You know, and, like, Sydney Sweeney's there waiting for you in the bed. Like, that's what I said. Like, as, like, trying to be, like, reference something. Like the hottest woman in the world. Yeah. And that has plagued me now for the rest of my life.
David
I mean, that is a big one.
Jay
But I don't even give a. About Sydney Sweeney. You know what I mean? But anytime we're watching tv, it's like, oh, there's your girl. There's. There's. Oh, you want to watch. You probably want to watch this. And I'm like, I've never seen a Sydney Sweeney movie.
David
Yo. You know what I found out about her? You know what I found out the other day?
Jay
What?
David
Nat, guess how old Anne Hathaway is.
Natalie
40.
David
Jason.
Jay
40.
David
Oh, I totally thought she was, like, so much older.
Natalie
Really?
Jay
Oh, really?
David
Because people were like, she doesn't age. She doesn't age.
Jason
And I'm like, yeah, she doesn't. She looks beautiful.
Natalie
Yeah.
Jason
So I looked it up, and I'm like, oh, yeah, she's 43.
David
Yeah.
Natalie
But she looks the same as when she was 23.
Jason
Totally.
Jay
Yeah, she looks good.
Jason
But, like, it may be my unk status talking, but, like, 43 is not that old.
Jay
Agree. Right.
Natalie
It's not like she's 60 and looking.
Jay
Right. Like.
Jason
Like, I guess this is, like, a very superstar thing to compare to another superstar. But, like, Jennifer Aniston.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
Is what, 50?
Natalie
Yeah.
Jay
No.
Natalie
60s.
Jason
She's 60. Okay.
Jay
58.
Jason
Great. But she still looks like she's 40.
Natalie
Yeah.
Jason
Right?
Jay
Yeah, she looks great.
Jason
I just feel like, okay, well, I don't know.
Jay
I mean, all these.
Jason
The way people talked about Anna Hathaway,
David
I was like, oh, wow.
Jason
I can't believe she looks like that for 60.
Ad Voice
Imagine.
Jason
But I'm like, no, she still looks incredible. I was shocked because we all guessed,
David
and we were like, I don't know, 52. But I'm surprised you guys got on the money.
Jay
Isn't that John's, like, crush?
Jason
Yeah. John was the closest John was, like, 46, but, yeah. Okay.
David
So what else? Yeah.
Jay
So, yeah, retraction. I. Yes. Davine is my soulmate.
Jason
Okay.
Jay
Okay, good. I said it.
Jason
I was very nervous. Very, very, very nervous.
David
We're having our pool day today. Oh, I'm a little nervous.
Jay
How many people?
David
Well, Natalie said. I think we misunderstood each other about what it was gonna be. I thought it was gonna be, like, 20 people, but I think it's, like, a hundred. Oh, wow.
Natalie
No, it's like, 60 to 70, probably.
Jay
And what is it for?
David
It's for nothing.
Natalie
It's just to, like, celebrate summer and.
David
Now they got the ugliest.
Jay
You guys have so much to do.
David
Now they got the ugliest, and you're
Jay
throwing a random party.
Natalie
Well, I thought that was fun.
David
Wait, that is part of. What are you.
Jay
Yeah, I know, but that's so much work, Jay.
David
That's like saying you have so much to do. You're gonna go to Miami. It's like, that's literally our work is to do that.
Jay
I know, but, like, I just feel like it's.
Natalie
Yeah. I think everybody coming.
Jay
I mean, I get it.
Natalie
I get it.
Jay
You're throwing the party in hopes that you'll get some content. Okay. I get it.
David
Yeah. What are you talking.
Jay
It seems like a lot of work.
David
Our job's literally to have fun.
Jay
No, I know.
David
Did you forget?
Jay
Yeah. Because, you know, sometimes it's not fun.
David
Wow.
Natalie
Like, you're not. You're uninvited.
Jay
No, no, no. It's just.
Natalie
You've been black.
Jay
Oh.
David
No.
Jay
I'm going to come. But I. I'm just saying, like.
David
No. Security's going to kick you out as soon as the party.
Jay
Fine. Fine.
Jason
You're here for.
David
You're here for work.
Jay
We'll go to Naveen, and I won't go to you guys.
Natalie
We're also.
David
Naveen's coming here.
Natalie
It's also. Waivers is now in Five Below. So we have, like, a whole, like, waivers.
Jay
Okay, so that's the reason.
David
Yeah.
Jay
Yeah. Okay.
Natalie
All right.
David
Waivers has been popping off, Jay.
Jay
It's doing well?
David
Yeah, apparently.
Jay
Incredible.
Jason
Where.
Jay
Where's it. Where's it popping off? All over the country.
David
Australia.
Natalie
All over the country. Five Below. We're going global with Circle K. How
David
many locations are we gonna be in Circle k?
Natalie
Somewhere between six and 700 stores.
David
Pretty crazy. That's great.
Jay
I thought Five Below was, like, a clothing store.
Natalie
No, it's like a convenience.
David
It's all clothing and one bag of chip. My mom found waivers yesterday at, like, the most Random place Home Goods. Yeah.
Jay
Oh, really? We get all our snacks at Home Goods. You get a good deal on them.
David
And I'm like, can you try them so they're not stale? And she's like, I'm already in the car. I didn't buy any.
Jason
Like, I was shocked.
David
I was like, what? Like, she has plenty at home because we send her packages of it.
Jay
Yeah.
David
But I'm like. And she's always been like, when are we gonna get them around our area?
Natalie
Finally finds it.
David
And she finally finds it. Like, how do you not just like, do the checkout process? Like, that's literally the best part of finding something that, you know, damn is
Jason
like checking it out and then at
David
the cash reserve being like, this is my sons. That's my last name.
Natalie
I know.
Jay
Yeah.
David
How did you not do that whole experience?
Jay
If that was Mr. Beast, he would have. I actually rearranged it.
David
I actually want to ask her, can we call her?
Jason
Sure, I'm sure.
David
I'm trying to see her. Her mindset for that.
Mom
Yes.
David
Hey, you're on the podcast.
Mom
I am, yes.
David
Yes. Yeah, yeah.
Jason
Right now.
David
Question.
Jason
When?
David
When you saw when.
Jay
Sorry, sorry, I can't talk.
Mom
I'm in a car with Oscar and he's on the phone. Sorry.
David
Well, just real quick, real quick. When you found waivers at the store yesterday, why didn't you buy them?
Mom
Because I left it for other people to buy it.
Jay
She won't take them all.
David
But you didn't want to like buy. You've always been asking for when they're going to be there. You didn't want to experience how it is buying it.
Jay
No, I didn't.
Mom
Because we have still at home.
David
Okay. That's literally exactly what I said. Okay.
Mom
I wasn't thinking that way. Like, I really thought like, even when I go to store and buy something, I want four of something and that is like sick. So I would always leave some two, one or two behind for other people, you know? So that's how I feel when I saw that. Like, oh, other people probably want to try it. So why would I take, you know?
David
Okay, that's very sweet. Okay, thank you.
Mom
Bye.
David
Bye.
Mom
Bye.
David
That's really funny.
Jay
It's really bizarre thinking about the other people. Yeah.
David
That is a really like wholesome way to think about things. Yeah.
Mom
Yeah.
David
My mom's PR trained

presents a 30 second podcast between your podcast. Today's story is shared by one of our listeners. It's called Betrayed by Bill. It was in that moment I caught who was staring back at me in Betrayal. Or more like what? My insurance bill. With trembling hands, I grabbed my phone and switched to geico, saving about $900 in the process and never to be betrayed again. Now that was bloody riveting.
Jay
It feels good when the story ends with savings. It feels good to Geico.

Jay
I have a question. Are we going to be on a boat in Croatia?
Natalie
Yeah.
Jay
What kind of situation is that?
Natalie
What does that mean?
Jay
Like, what's the boat like?
David
So we're taking a trip.
Natalie
I haven't sent you what it looks like.
Jay
No. Or maybe you did and I didn't see it.
Jason
It's a really big boat.
Jay
Oh, wait, is it. Did you send it in the chat?
Natalie
No.
Jason
Are we allowed to talk about, like, how much it costs and how much
David
we're gonna get for.
Natalie
Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's public information. People can just look it up online.
David
Yeah.
Jason
The boat's like $150,000 a week, but
David
they're giving it to us for free
Jason
just for us to, like, mention in the.
David
In the thing.
Jason
I've never been on a big boat like this in my entire life.
David
Kidding.
Jason
The only problem is the temperature in Croatia is going to be, like, 62.
Natalie
Yeah. It's not exactly warm.
Jason
There's going to be, like, a little Alaskan cruise type situation.
Natalie
Pack your parkas.
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
How come we can't get good weather,
Jason
but the boat is, like, 13 bedrooms. It has a movie room.
David
Oh, wow.
Jason
Yeah. Yeah.
Natalie
Oh, like three floors.
Jason
No, no, it's like a boat boat.
Jay
It's like a yacht.
Natalie
Yeah.
Jason
Jay, it's 150 grand a week.
Jay
Oh. Oh. Oh, okay.
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
I didn't know what we were on.
Jason
I've never.
David
I've never experienced anything like this.
Jay
And so the idea is that you're on the boat for five days and you're stopping and seeing stuff.
David
I actually don't know. I don't know.
Natalie
Yeah, they have, like. They're doing a whole item. We'll get off, we'll do a little excursion.
David
Oh, we will be able to get off.
Natalie
Yeah. Yeah.
David
Oh, I'm so nervous about this.
Mom
She.
Natalie
I don't know what the official itinerary is yet, but.
Jay
You guys are so funny. You run this place like, it's. It's like Charlie runs, like, yearbook squad at her school.
David
No, it's absolutely. It's absolutely mesmerizing how anything has gone this far ever.
Natalie
I wonder who the problem is.
David
I mean, I'm also the solution because
Jay
David and I were like, we're on a boat. And we're like. Like. Oh. Like, that could be.
David
No, no, no. I think it's like a big boat where you won't even feel like you're on a boat.
Jay
I don't know.
David
I've never been on a boat like this. So, like.
Jay
Yeah, yeah.
David
Could it. Damn, I love boats. Could it be, like. Okay, Jason's now looking at pictures.
Jay
Oh, shit.
Commercial Narrator
What?
Natalie
Scroll, scroll. Look at how beautiful it is.
Jay
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. It's got a slide.
David
Well, we won't be able to use it because we'll be going into icy water.
Natalie
Jason has to polar plunge.
David
The slide will hit an iceberg.
Jay
Oh, my God. Guys, it has, like, a pool that, like.
David
There's a hot tub on the boat.
Jay
I don't even know how to explain this, guys, but it's like, imagine a bunch of gym mats that go out in the water that, like, create.
Natalie
They have, like, an inflatable pool.
Jay
An inflatable pool in the water.
David
My mom. Just sex it. If you want, I can go buy just for quality insurance. Insurance.
Jay
Insurance. Does it have a gym?
Natalie
I don't know. I'm sure it has a guide and weights and.
Jay
Wow. Oh, my God.
David
Oh, it's gonna be really sick.
Natalie
Yeah.
Jay
Shit.
David
So that's gonna be fun. That's our next vlog.
Jay
That'll be a crazy vlog.
David
That's in, like, three vlogs.
Commercial Narrator
Yeah.
David
We're trying to stay one vlog ahead.
Jay
Right.
David
We may be fucked. There may be. I predict we will miss a week.
Jason
No, three weeks.
Natalie
Stop.
David
I predicted two weeks. We're gonna miss a week of posting.
Jay
Get your crystal ball.
David
Well, I don't know how. I don't know what you're expecting or how we're. How we're doing this, but it's. It's getting really intense over here.
Jay
Yes. You only have two days to shoot two weeks. Vlog. The next vlog. Yeah, Two days. Today.
Jason
Yeah.
David
And I've been editing a lot of these videos, like, sitting there, right? So it's like I haven't gotten the full week to shoot. I'm only getting like two or three days to shoot a vlog.
Jay
Right.
David
But Miami was really fun. I'm looking forward to that vlog.
Jay
Okay.
Jason
Like, big time. I think that'll be like, very, like, friend hanging out.
David
Heavy. I think that's gonna be like, one of my faves.
Jay
Wow.
David
And then, yeah, Croatia, we haven't gone, but that will be also really fun. Once again, we're fucking leaving. I fucking. I beg Natalie not to leave. We're going to Croatia. Then we have to go to France. And then from France, we have to go to Norway.
Jay
Hang on, man. Croatia?
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
Cannes.
Jason
Oh, wait, no, wait.
Jay
What's in Norway?
David
Wait, first I have to go to New York. For what? I have to go.
Natalie
Sister's graduating.
David
My sister's graduating.
Jason
Okay, I'll go to New York on Sunday.
Jay
Okay.
David
Which we haven't even talked about this.
Jason
How the fuck are we gonna podcast? I guess I'll meet you guys in Croatia and we'll do a podcast a little later.
Jay
Guys, we gotta have a better sketch for the pod.
Jason
Okay?
Jay
So anyway, we have to make it a priority. It's. It's how I live New York.
Jason
Well, Jay, I said that in Miami. I was like, I thought this was Jason's bread and butter. Why isn't he here?
Natalie
That was my fault. That was my fault. I take full responsibility for that.
Jason
Well, all right, go ahead, hit me.
David
Go ahead.
Jason
Go ahead, hit me.
David
What, bro?
Jay
You guys, these guys. These guys.
David
We called you a day in advance.
Natalie
Yeah, yeah.
David
Call everybody, date.
Jay
You can't do that.
David
You can't.
Natalie
That's our problem.
David
You can't.
Jay
You can't call someone and go, jay, we're going to North Korea tomorrow. We have Tuesday. We come back Wednesday.
David
If we were going to do that, you'd probably have a two day heads up, too. I mean, it's just really tough because we don't know where we're going.
Natalie
But I'm sure we know where we're going. We just need to plan better.
Jay
You knew you were going to Miami. No one told me anything. You knew you were going to Miami. F1 was probably planned for months.
David
Okay? I'm telling you right now. Yeah, we are going to Can.
Jay
Okay, yeah, tell me.
David
And then we're going to Norway. So I think you're gonna have to come with us everywhere.
Jay
Okay, bro? Wait, so wait a minute.
David
How.
Jay
What's in Norway?
David
Norway. We. We're going. We're celebrating the launch of waivers around the world.
Jay
Oh, my God, that I'm out.
Jason
Why?
Jay
I'm not going to celebrate waivers in Norway. Are you out of your mind?
David
No, it's not waivers in Norway. It's waivers around the world. It just so happens the event is in Norway.
Jay
It's going to be me, you and Natalie standing around an ice sculpture with a fucking bag of waivers and, like, two people like, oh, it tastes good. It's not a good. Crunchy.
David
You love these events. We're going. We're going to, like, one of those food things.
Jay
Oh, no.
Natalie
First of all, David doesn't even know what the fuck.
David
I don't know what I'm going.
Natalie
So the headquarters for Circle K is in Oslo, in Norway. So we're going there to meet with all of the countries that are going to be distributing.
David
It's like we're meeting with the United Nations.
Jay
Oh, really?
David
Yeah.
Jay
Okay.
David
Have we met? Have we been in Oslo before?
Natalie
We have not.
David
Have you been to Norway?
Natalie
Never.
David
Oh, wow. That's going to be really fun. Okay, so you give Norwegian vibes.
Jay
So you're going to. We're going. I'll be in Croatia.
David
Yeah, I'll be there.
Jay
We're going to get four podcasts done in Croatia.
Natalie
Yeah.
Jay
Then you go to France.
David
Okay. And then you come to France.
Jay
And then when I go back to LA and then fly to Norway.
David
No, I think you go to France and then you go. You go with us also to Norway, dude. Yes, John.
Jay
What am I going to do in France? I'm not going to be able to go to anything.
David
John.
Jason
John pays, actually.
Jay
Khan is so nice.
Natalie
Yeah, it's like the most beautiful.
David
Nice, John. We've been asking John to travel places with us. Yeah, it's so funny.
Jay
What does he say?
David
Because he works. Oh, dude, the funniest fucking thing.
Jason
Okay, well, let me say this first.
David
He.
Jason
He works for us, right? He's also our friend. She has no other obligation other than just, like, hang out. And we told him, like, john, we're gonna need you to come on this, like, yacht with us. And he goes, dude, he goes, but
David
I've just been traveling so much, and I'm like, john, like, it's like, that's the gig.
Jay
Yeah, that's the gig.
Natalie
That's what we do.
David
He was joking about suing me yesterday because of. Because of how much work he has to do.
Jason
So how is court gonna go down? John, like, you.
David
So you work for your best friend who you get to travel with, and you have to go on a yacht in Croatia, but you don't Want to go? Because you just got back from Miami F1.
Jason
Wow.
David
It's really funny.
Jason
So John's like, really? But like, I'm like, john, bring Julia.
David
Bring your girlfriend.
Jason
Like, have it be, like a fucking fun thing. He's like, I don't know. And then when he found out that we're staying on, like, a big boat.
David
Yeah.
Jason
He was like, oh, wait, everybody gets their own room and stuff. And he, like, tried to pretend like he didn't love it. He was like, oh, okay, I guess I can think about this.
Jay
Yeah. I liked on the pod when you said, you're asking John, like, if he's going to stay.
Jason
Like, if he's going to stay working here.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
I was loving that conversation.
Jason
I get really quizzed about that.
Jay
What it was.
Jason
So. Because we were in Miami F1.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
And for three days, I'm just editing the first three days. We're editing the Bali vlog. So he's doing nothing, right? He's. He's fishing on the dock for, like, six hours at this, like, million dollar house on the water in Miami. And it's so funny. I'm just like, I'm.
Jay
Wow.
Jason
I'm sending pictures to the group chat. I'm like, john's work is really tough today. It's really fun. And it's not like I need him to do anything. Like, I'm not, like, taking a picture and being like, why isn't he working? Because there's actually nothing for him to do, right. Other than fish.
Jay
Well, there is things he could be doing.
Natalie
Well, he'll, like, run around. He'll, like, run errands, like, random, sporadically. That's really.
Jay
You should have. You should have, like, create, like, shorts.
Jason
But John did the most interesting thing in Miami that I've never. I've never seen. And it made me look at him completely different.
David
We were. We were rolling. Oh, we were rolling. We were.
Natalie
We were in the neighborhood. We were in the neighborhood.
Jason
Yeah.
Natalie
Probably 30 yards from the house.
Jason
We're all drunk except John. John's our dd. And John rolls the stop sign and police come. He gets pulled over. John is freezing, like, panicking. I've never seen anything like it. I'm recording him because I think it's funny that he's panicking, right? And the officer comes, whatever. He's panicking the entire time, gives him a ticket. Officers are going back into his car. We're like, john, well, how could you roll that stop sign, you criminal? That was crazy. What were you thinking?
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
And John's like, you know what? Fuck this. John gets out of the car and he's like, I'm walking home. I've never seen anything like it. I'm like, john, get back in the car. The cop is still right outside. Like, he's gonn. John, the cop's going to shoot you. Like, this is like those videos you watch. And it's like. And you're like, why is this person
David
not just like, yeah, chilling.
Jason
Chilling. And giving him the license and the information? Like, why is he being so panicked? And that's what John was doing. John got out of the car, started walking away. Meanwhile, we're parked diagonally on the side of the road. Everyone in the car's drunk, so no one can take over driving.
Jay
Oh, no.
Jason
And we're like, john, what the fuck are you doing? And John's like, I'm done. I'm done panicking.
David
Oh, wow.
Jason
I've never seen.
Jay
And the cops riding the tickets.
Jason
Cops already written the ticket. But he's back in his car, still sitting behind us, like, ready to leave.
Jay
Oh, wow.
Jason
I couldn't believe it was. I've never seen anything, like. And I've just realized now that John has never faced, like, any sort of challenging situation in his life.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
That's challenged him like that.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
And then I told his girlfriend about it, and she's like, oh. The same thing happened to us two years ago. We got pulled over and he went completely blank. And he wasn't him himself anymore.
Natalie
Oh, my God.
Jason
Like, he was just, like, not himself. He couldn't talk to me. He just couldn't communicate. It was very. He has something with law enforcement that just, like, triggers him. There must something. It was Jay. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen in my life. It was the craziest thing.
Jay
How'd you get him back in the car?
Jason
Georgia had to go after him.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
And this was. He was like, I don't know, half a football field away. And Georgia calmed him down. She was like, please, we're all drunk. None of us can drive the car. We need you to finish the driving and just get us to the next place.
David
And that's it.
Jason
And then he, like, calmed down. He thought, like, it was going on his record and everything, like, he was
Natalie
gonna go to jail.
Jay
Yeah. Like, what happens if you get a ticket in Florida? Do you even have to pay?
Natalie
The cop wrote it. It was a $50 ticket.
Jason
And we were all like, we're gonna pay it for you, dude.
Jay
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
David
Like.
Jason
And also, like, John, you make 100 grand a year and have no expenses, no rent, no gas.
David
No.
Jason
You can afford a $50 ticket. You can afford a 50. It's like, I don't know where the panic was coming from. I was so confused.
Jay
Interesting.
Natalie
And then it was the craziest thing to watch.
Jason
It was fucking crazy.
Jay
I thought he was.
Natalie
Jok. Was kind of like, acting it up for the camera, and then he just fled the scene.
Jason
Yeah. And I was like, he murdered people.
Mom
Okay.
Jason
Like, he murdered. Like, he ran over a family of four.
Natalie
It was so funny.
Jason
And then the next day, I get pulled over by in the same spot. Oh, the cops just sit there. I roll the stop sign too. We're in a neighborhood. Like, it's one of those stop signs where you're like, does this even count? So I rolled it and same thing. I'm filming again. And John's like, ha. How does it fucking feel? And I'm like, I don't know.
Jay
Fine.
Natalie
I don't really care.
Jay
Like, I was set up.
Jason
Like, yeah, like.
Jay
Like the cops have nothing else to do.
Jason
I like, I was like, john, it's fine.
David
Like, it's like I've been pulled over one other time, and it was because
Jason
I was going 110 in, like, a 70 on my way to San Francisco. That could have, like, actually gotten my license revoked. That was scary.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
I'm like, this doesn't. This doesn't give you a point on your license.
David
Yeah.
Jason
Like, you rolled stop sign. It is like, the most minimal infraction ever.
Jay
What do you think it is?
Jason
Like, why was he so panicked?
Jay
Yeah, why does he get panicked by cars?
Jason
I couldn't explain it.
Natalie
I just don't think that he does well in a high. If there's some sort of adversity or high stress, he just goes full panic.
Jason
Can't do high stress.
Jay
Yeah. Interesting. I got a crazy ticket in Alabama and I looked the cop right in the eye and I was like, okay, take me in. You're gonna take me in.
David
That's it.
Jason
Wait, what was the ticket?
David
What was the ticket for? What did you do?
Jay
I was with Heath and Mariah. We were coming back from Matt King's wedding and we were going. We were going from state to state, and the time changed, so we lost an hour. All of a sudden it was like 9:30 in the morning, but suddenly it was 10:30 in the morning, so we were gonna miss the flight. So I just start tearing ass and it got pulled over.
David
Tearing.
Natalie
Tearing ass is crazy.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
That's probably where I got Pulled over.
Jay
Yeah. And I was doing, like, 120. And they were like, you're gonna go to jail. And I was like, all right.
Jason
Well, yeah, anything over 100, you can go to jail. Yeah, but I think that's what they say.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
I don't think they actually put you behind bars unless you're going, like, 1:30, 1:40.
David
Like, unless you're.
Jason
And also, like, when I was going 110, it felt like I was going 60. It was on a road with nobody on the road.
Jay
How fast were you going in your video when the cops shut the street down?
Jason
1:55.
Jay
Whoa. 155.
Jason
But it didn't even feel.
Jay
How fast did you go in the Bugatti that time?
David
Not one.
Jason
I think this is the fastest I've gone. But in that car, 155 feels like you're going 70.
David
Really?
Jason
Yeah. We had. So for the Valhalla, we had cops
David
shut down the street, which is actually incredibly, like, affordable for, like, a video, which was shocking.
Jason
Wow.
David
I mean, was it not. I mean, to shut down streets? It was. It was like 3,500.
Jay
That's nothing.
David
No, for, like, for street racing. We had it for a couple hours, and, like, we just kind of went.
Jason
I was like.
Jay
And also, you're breaking the speed limit.
Jason
Yeah. I was really confused.
Jay
Really confused.
Natalie
It's also like, my friend who like
Jason
races cars was like. Was like, this is way more affordable than, like, going to the track. Why am I not bringing out all
David
my friends to do this, like, full time?

David
Do you think I'll ever find love, Jay?
Jay
Someone DMed me about Tuesday's pod, and they were like, we really love David talking about, you know, his relationships, because I'm in the same boat. I'm trying to find somebody and I love. Can you get him to talk more about it?
Jason
Yeah. What do you want to know?
David
I'm kind of like, I don't really
Jay
want to know anything.
David
I am kind of like a little love Guru bro.
Jay
You gotta. You gotta. You're.
Natalie
You're.
Jay
You. You know, you really.
David
You really are sexy.
Jay
Are sexy. You got me good on the podcast on Tuesday because I was explaining that whole thing about how I can't, like, enjoy life, and then. And then I. And then you said, oh, that's the same thing with Naveen. You're afraid to love Naveen. And I was like, wow.
David
Yeah, you know, I mean, you're a fucking man student.
Jay
Become a teacher.
Jason
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You're a real bizarre man when it comes to enjoying things.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
Yeah, for sure. But that's just like the panic in you. You are just constantly panicked. But I also Chicken Little.
Jay
I have never read that. I don't know that show.
Jason
He's just like, a little scared.
Jay
He's a scared guy.
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
I can't really help you with relationships because you. You're like. You've already figured yourself out, so there's nothing I could say.
Jason
I know it does kind of suck.
Jay
You're not. You're not helpable.
Jason
I do feel like I'm kind of there.
Jay
Like, you know your problems and I
Jason
know the answer, but it's just like, I can't really do it.
Jay
When's the last time you went on a date?
David
When's the last time I actually went on a date in a different place the other day.
Jay
Really?
David
Yes.
Jay
Where'd you go?
David
I don't want to say the location.
Jay
Sure.
David
But it was in a different country.
Jay
Okay.
David
I went on a date.
Jay
This wasn't the other day.
David
This was a while ago. Yeah.
Jay
Okay.
David
Jay
I remember now.
David
Jay
But yeah, you met somebody and they said, meet me in this country and you went, yeah, that's cool.
David
Yeah, that's really cool. Super cool.
Jay
I mean.
Natalie
No, isn't it?
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
And to be able to afford that and to be able to be like, fuck it, I'm gonna go.
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
And also, it's crazy cuz, like, you're
David
setting yourself up talking about this, but. Yes.
Jay
You're setting yourself up for disaster.
David
Yes. So it was really good.
Jay
Right?
David
I really liked her. Really chill vibes. Yeah, she. Yeah, she's back with her ex.
Jay
Okay.
David
That's. That. That I remember when I was on the date with her.
Jay
Yeah.
David
She would, like, talk about her ex and I was like, he seems great. Like, I would tell her that. I was like, yeah. I was like, don't lose that.
Jay
Yeah.
David
Cuz like, that kind of feels like that's like your person. I'm like, I'm Very clear with that type of shit. Like, right. Like, I don't want to waste any time when talking to a girl. And, like, I. As much as I really liked her. And I was like, I could see this, like, happening in the future, but I was like, no, no. Like, the way you talk about your ex is like, this is. It's not over. You're gonna go back. And she was like, no, it's absolutely not happening. I'm like, I'm fucking. I'm 30 years old, sweetheart. Like, you're going.
Jay
You shouldn't do that on a date. That's. That's bad. That's bad sickness.
David
I. I didn't say it like that. Okay. I didn't say like that. I'm being very dramatic here.
Jason
On the pot.
David
But, like, I was. In my head, I was like, oh, it's. This isn't gonna work because. Okay, it's. She's this guy. She's describing this guy who sounds great. I liked him. I was like, I fuck with this guy. I love the music. She showed you pictures? Yeah. He's very handsome. Oh, yeah. So I had no problem. So, yeah. Back with Axe. So that didn't go well. But it went well in the interim. Interim. Interior. Interior.
Jay
You had it right the first time
David
in the interior decorator. In the interstellar. It went well, and I'm glad I did it. Like, I went.
Jay
How many hours did you travel for this date?
David
Far.
Jay
Okay.
David
Far.
Jason
Probably the.
Jay
More than three hours.
David
Yeah.
Jay
Okay. Okay.
David
Very far.
Jay
Very far.
David
And I went to. Yeah, I had dinner. First time I actually have done dinner.
Jay
Yeah, you were.
David
I'm like, obviously, I'm not describing the story as.
Jason
Well, how. Well,
Jay
how do you. God, you at dinner. You're such an alien. Like. Cause, you know, I go out to dinner all the time. I always want to call you, and Naveen will be like, call David. Invite David. I'm like, he won't want to go. He won't want to go. So I don't call you. But you at dinner, like, how did you do. What'd you do with your hands? I. What'd you order?
David
What did I order?
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
Well, first, you skinny girl, and not eat.
David
Well, first we got, like, drinks at, like, a sushi spot.
Jay
Okay, Fun.
David
And I was like. I was like, she loved sushi. He's like, no, let's eat here. I fucking hate sushi. So I was like. I was like, I'll just. I'm sure I could find something on the menu. Like, this is no problem at all. The menu Came back. I was like, oh, great. I'll just. I'll just do the pizza and, like, oh, great. It's like the sashimi pizza or something. And I'm like. And she saw the panic in my eyes. She's like, I really don't mind not eating here. Like, we can just go somewhere else, right? And I was like, okay, let's go. But it wasn't about the food. But.
Jason
No.
David
Then we went to the next spot.
Jason
We just talked. It was really.
David
It was really fun.
Jay
How did you feel? Like, you're like, oh, why did I come here?
Jason
Or were you like, no, not at all.
Jay
No, you're.
Jason
I was really scared about going then I was really scared about being at a place by myself.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
To go and meet a girl. But I was really, really stoked that I did.
Jay
Yeah. You. You tried to bring a couple of friends with you. I was.
Jason
Yeah.
Jay
Only. Only. So you brief with them after, in person? Yeah.
Jason
I called my friends.
David
I called my friend Mike and his wife Brooke from my hometown.
Jason
I was like, listen, I'll pay for your trips right now to this place.
David
I'm like, this is like an incredible honeymoon vacation. Like, they just got married. I'm like, just come here with me.
Jason
There's a good chance you won't even see me. Yeah.
David
I was like, it'll just be you
Jason
guys and consider it a date, like, weekend, whatever, and.
Jay
But if it goes bad, if it
Jason
goes bad, you'll see me a lot, and I'm gonna ruin your date. But if it's going great, you'll never see me.
Jay
Me.
Jason
And it went great.
Jay
Okay.
Jason
It went really, really great.
Jay
Great.
Jason
And it went way better than I thought it would.
Jay
Great.
Jason
Until after I found out that she was probably going back tracks, which I'm like, whatever. Like, it's totally fine.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
But I'm glad I did it. I'm glad I met her. She's very sweet. She'll be a cool friend down the road. But are you leaving part of the story out? Of course. Of course I'm leaving things out I can't fully like. But, yeah, I'm obviously leaving things out.
David
But all in all, buckets of fun.
Jay
Would you do it again
David
with that person?
Jay
No.
Jason
No. Oh.
Jay
Would you go to another country and see somebody?
David
This was a girl that, like, in my head, I like, was like, you'd
Jay
also met her before.
David
I've met her before. And in my head, I've, like, kind of painted an image of her where I was like, I've kind of, like, completed things in my head I was like, oh, yeah, this could be. Like, really? This is very much my type of.
Jay
Oh, that's. That's a dangerous thing.
Jason
Very dangerous.
Jay
I've done that.
David
Do not do that.
Jay
I've done that.
David
And that's why I, like, that's why I was like, I'll go to this country to meet her.
Jay
Yeah.
David
Or hang out with her again, which you shouldn't do. But yeah, I think I would. I think I'd definitely do that again.
Jay
I think that's interesting. When you, like, you meet somebody and then you. You build up this thing in your mind and then you meet them and you're like, oh, wait a minute. I'm a fucking asshole.
David
This is. I'll tell you what. I'll give you one little tea of the day.
Jay
Okay, Go.
David
I was, we were. We met somewhere else before, in another country.
Jay
Right.
David
And I was. I already showed interest.
Jay
Yeah.
David
And I was like, we were out, it was really late.
Jay
Yeah.
David
And I was like, I'm gonna call it. I'm gonna go to bed. This is like kind of my first time meeting. And. And she's like, wait, why are you leaving? And I'm like, I'm just like, really tired. And like, if I'm gonna be honest, like, I don't have the energy to, like, go out and do stuff. And like, I really like, like you, but, like, I just like, I'm not in my party girl era is how I describe it. Like, I'm looking for something more serious.
Jay
Ooh, David.
Jason
Yeah. I said that.
Jay
That's a big turn on for the ladies.
David
And then she was like, I. Then she said this and I was like, she's like, I want to be married yesterday. Oh, wow. And I went, okay. So I sat back down. And then I was like, I still have to go soon.
Jay
Yeah.
David
And she's like. And then she was like, playing it like a chick. I know. It's crazy because I was just.
Jason
Cuz I'm genuinely. Like, I am older.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
So I'm like, I can't do, like, I have to be straightforward with the person.
Jay
Sure.
Jason
I have to be like, this is what I want. And if. And if you can't do that right now, that's totally fine.
Jay
Yeah.
David
Like, I'll see you down the road or we'll meet again.
Jason
Like, whatever. Whatever destiny has for us. Destiny will call me in again. So I was like. And then she was like, how about this? I'm going here.
Jay
Yeah.
David
In a week.
Jay
Yeah.
Jason
Meet me here and we'll spend the Weekend together. Wow. And I was like, done.
Jay
Damn. And then you did a dramatic exit.
Jason
And then I was like, no, no.
Jay
Did you look back at her?
David
No, no, I stayed for.
Jason
I stayed for a couple hours.
Jay
Batted your eyes till we meet again.
David
And then I. And then I was like, I can't believe I'm actually doing this because I've never gone on a dinner date anywhere.
Jay
I'm proud of you. That you.
David
And then. And then I went, and I genuinely, genuinely was really happy about it. And she was really great, and I wish her the best.
Jay
Yeah. But.
David
Yeah.
Jay
Well, if you're in another country and you want David to come visit.
David
Yeah, yeah,
Jay
he has the means.
David
Yeah. I'm pretty easy about that. I actually would rather go on a date with you in a different country.
Jay
Oh, really?
David
I was talking to. I was talking to Cindy about this. Wolfie Cindy.
Jay
Yeah.
David
And I was like, yeah, I went on it. She was, like, helping me come up with, like. Yeah, she was helping me come up with, like, date spots.
Jay
Okay.
David
I'm like, where to take this girl out to dinner? And things like that. And she's like, this is so you. For you to have your first date in a different country.
Jay
Why is that?
David
In la, she's like, you're just scared of, like, going out in la. You're just, like, scared of, like, how, like, sceny it is and stuff. And, like, seeing people out and, like. That's very true. Like, I felt, like, so much comfort in being in another country.
Jay
Yeah, I think, too. Like, it's like you go out and then. Yeah. People know what you're doing and they know your business and they look.
Jason
Yeah.
David
Which I was kind of scared about in la, but it was actually tenfold worse in this country.
Jason
Yeah.
David
Yeah, it was. A lot. A lot more people approached me during the date.
Jay
Really?
David
Yeah, it was very strange. Also cool. I was like, oh, this is nice. But, but, but it.
Jason
Yeah, but it was still that everyone
David
was speaking a different language, where I was like, okay, this is kind of nice. Like, it still doesn't feel like everyone's, like, in my face.
Jason
We're in la. Like, everybody knows each other.
Jay
Yes. And you feel douchey. And it can go from, like. I don't know, it could go from, like, this person likes me to this person's being an asshole, like, really quick.
David
I don't know.
Jason
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
David
And there was, like, some safety about being on a date in a different country. Whereas, like, if it doesn't go well, I just go home. Like, it's like kind of like I compartmentalize it as like this thing that happened here rather than like mixing it with my LA life. I don't know. Anyway, yeah, if you're in different culture. You want me to go on date with you two? Medium?
Ad Voice
Yeah.
Jay
Seriously guys, Dave's gonna be 30 soon. Let's get him wifed up and maybe I can find you somebody.
