Zane is also here. John is here. Natalie's here. Zayn is our replacement for Jason Nash. We are in Miami, the city of lights and the city of sin.
Zane
You know, I was born here. Yeah, I'm trying Miami Hospital.
David Dobrik
Oh, whoa. You were proper born here in Miami.
Zane
Miami Hospital. Lived here for like a few years and then I moved to Fort Lardo. Wait, wait.
David Dobrik
How was it growing up here in Florida? I don't understand what kind of a kid you were.
Zane
I mean, I was like a loser. Like, I didn't have any friends.
David Dobrik
Yeah, and you always say, what does that mean, loser? Because you have a fun personality. You have such a loud.
Zane
Well, I wasn't like this when I was like. I. I didn't talk.
David Dobrik
Oh, money change.
Zane
I had no personality. No, no. You know, I didn't have money when we were fucking. I. Yeah, no, I just wasn't like, cool at all. It was he and I straightened my hair every day.
David Dobrik
Was Heath your only friend or Heath wasn't even your friend?
Zane
No, Heath was my friend until like after high school.
David Dobrik
Okay. How did you and Heath meet? This is crazy. Question.
Zane
Oh, you're laughing like I was supposed to like to say that without you asking. We met. Well, we've always known each other throughout high school. We like, sat together in all of
David Dobrik
our classes, but never hung out after school.
Zane
No.
David Dobrik
Okay.
Zane
No, remember, remember I told. He was like, he's to kind of like bully me and What?
David Dobrik
Yeah, no way.
Georgia Hazarotti
No way.
Zane
Yeah, like, not. Not like to the extent of other people would. But like, he definitely would talk down to me and like, didn't like me time.
David Dobrik
Not to the extent that other people would.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Oh.
Zane
So in middle school. Elementary. Middle school, I got like heavily bullied.
David Dobrik
Wait, really?
Zane
Oh, yeah.
David Dobrik
You're like a classic social media star.
Zane
I. Well, I. That's usually.
David Dobrik
That's crazy.
Zane
That's usually what happens. Like talk to anybody that, like, is big on social media now. They didn't really have like the best childhood. They take like dark moments and they make fun of it and that's why they're funny.
David Dobrik
It's beautiful.
Zane
I know.
David Dobrik
Okay, wait, wait. So what would happen in middle school?
Zane
In middle school, they would elementary too, because I was Arab. I didn't look Arab, but just because they knew I was Arab, they would call me like Saddam Hussein and they would call me a terrorist.
David Dobrik
Saddam Hussein?
Zane
Yeah, but like, not in like a joking way. It was very, like, it got to the point where like the teacher, like, I had to go to the principal office and like, it had. It was a whole thing because it got so bad.
David Dobrik
And was there anything that like, prompted this behavior from them? You or you were just. Literally just.
Zane
I did. Well, I did one time. I did do a scare in the school, but I mean, I didn't think it was that.
David Dobrik
No. So you weren't even friends with these people at all? They were just targeting you because you look like the weakest person there.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
And this Fort Lauderdale.
Zane
Yes.
David Dobrik
Did you go out to party or. No. Yo.
Zane
No, I didn't. No, I. Dude, I didn't like, really?
David Dobrik
Hold on, guys. Our filmer is making a.
Zane
Can you hear that? Burning the kitchen. These mics are sensitive, huh?
David Dobrik
Yeah, just a little bit quieter.
Zane
One second, guys. He's cooking. He's sizzling bacon right now. Give me a second.
David Dobrik
He's making a five course meal back there. It's hibachi night here.
Zane
To be fair, we are in the living room, so. I mean, people live in the living room. Yeah.
David Dobrik
Yeah. Sorry, scan. Just, just a. Just. I need to get. I need to figure out who Zayn really is from. From the beginning. I am who I am. It's beautiful. Okay, and then you found Heath, and then you found. How did you have the confidence to post on social media if you were not the coolest in school? Because to me, it would work backwards. Like if I. If I was weird in school, I'd be like, I don't want to post on social media because Then I'll just get quadruple made fun of.
Zane
Well, I. There was not really any social media when we were in high school, when you think about it. We had. We had MySpace, we had Face. So we'd post like, how old are you now? I'm 33.
David Dobrik
Oh, okay. So, yes.
Zane
Yeah, we didn't have any, like, no phone apps or nothing like that.
David Dobrik
What was your first, like, social media app then?
Zane
I think Instagram was my first social media, but I wasn't posting on there. I was just like. It would be. I would post like my coffee and be like.
David Dobrik
And then what did you work first on Vine. That made everyone. Yeah. Like, how did that start? How did the vine thing start?
Zane
Well, Heath and I, we. We were friends. We weren't friends for long before we started Vine. We were friends for maybe like two years.
David Dobrik
That's really before Vine.
Zane
People just started posting like, you know how, like, some apps would send. You'd post something, it would syndicate to other apps. So they had that for Vine. It would send it be syndicated to, like, Twitter or Instagram or something like that. And we were seeing these, like, short videos. We were like, oh, what the fuck is this? We downloaded it, and the first person that popped up on the feed was Marcus Johns. And he was like, holy shit. I know this guy and he's famous and he had like 50,000 followers and. But he was like the biggest on the app. Oh, I think he saw that and was just like, wait, if he can do this, and I know this guy personally, we can do it too.
Ad Voice 1
Wow.
Zane
So we decided. So. So we decided to have a joint channel because we were like, we're not gonna have separate. And like, what? We're gonna fucking bounce back and forth? No, we do a duo channel.
David Dobrik
What was the channel called?
Elliot
Businessmen.
David Dobrik
What? John, you don't know this?
Zane
No, I've heard.
David Dobrik
I've never heard this story. Okay.
Zane
Oh, he's never. Oh, you had no idea. What, you know,
David Dobrik
saying's like, how do I break the news to him? It's not called Unfiltered, was it? Just get ready for this.
Zane
Zane and Heath. That's it.
David Dobrik
Wait, John, you didn't know that that was their vine name?
Zane
No.
Elliot
Yeah, I mean, that's not like. That's not that crazy.
David Dobrik
Well, I think.
Elliot
Why would John know?
David Dobrik
But that's how I know their channel, bro. I didn't even know.
Zane
I mean, it could have been like the Florida Boys or, you know.
David Dobrik
Yeah, but that's why you guys are Zane and Heath.
Zane
I know.
David Dobrik
Like, it's not.
Elliot
Well, they also are just Zayn and
David Dobrik
Heath, you know, not just Zane and Heath. Yeah, they're more than that, but.
Zane
Yeah, yeah, but it's now we're Zain and Jazz and Heath, but they're not.
David Dobrik
They're not Heath and Zayn. They're not Zayn. And then where's his other friend Heath? It's Zane and Heath. That's because of Vine.
Elliot
Okay.
David Dobrik
Yeah. I don't know. Okay. And then, then how fast did you guys blow up? What was the first vine that you posted where you guys were like.
Zane
Well, we did. It was a. It was a car wash Vine. You've seen that one, right? Yeah, and we posted that one and we were going through all the first vine hashtags. Like, you know how like people hashtag all over the fucking place. We went through certain hashtags and we would go through and just like every post on there.
David Dobrik
Wow.
Zane
So we were like. Because it wasn't a big app, so getting a notification on that app is like a big deal.
David Dobrik
They'd get you. That's how you get people to follow you.
Zane
Yeah, it was almost. It was just like a, like a giant campaign we're holding. We weren't like following people and then unfollowing. We were just liking their posts. And then we transfer like maybe 25, 30% of the people that we would get every time we would do it to follow us because they would go to our page. 500 or more. 500 what, like likes.
David Dobrik
You would just go through how many people? How many people would you like?
Zane
Thousands.
David Dobrik
Thousands.
Zane
Thousands. Yeah, we would go thousands of people on.
David Dobrik
Oh, so you're spending hours just like liking all the dudes. Dude, I knew this about you, I think, cuz vine used to show likes, didn't it?
Zane
They would show. Yeah. On your notifications.
David Dobrik
No, but vine would show like what you. How many people you've liked or something like that. No, no.
Ad Voice 1
Really?
Zane
Yeah. No, no, they weren't that. They weren't that.
David Dobrik
It wasn't that ahead of it time. I totally remember. Like, maybe you've explained the story to me before, but yeah. Okay, so that's how you got like your momentum. Yeah, but there wasn't even a goal to make money there, right?
Zane
No, no, no, no. We were just like. It was honestly, Marcus Johns, like if Marcus Johns was not on that platform, we would have just like, we would have taken five second look at it and then delete the app. Wow. We just saw that. Oh, people are like, they're making videos. Making videos. Wasn't even a thing in our brain.
David Dobrik
Well, Marcus John's like, he was the first guy to hit a million followers on the app. He like paved the road for like a completely new generation social media users.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Like, even me. I remember when I first. When he posted that million vine that he posted is ingrained in my head.
Zane
The million million.
David Dobrik
That's when I was like, holy fuck. Yeah, legit.
Zane
Like, to us he was Justin Bieber.
David Dobrik
Yes.
Zane
For social media. Like, it was just like. Because we.
David Dobrik
I didn't.
Zane
We didn't know like a Jenna Marbles. We didn't know like any of those. We just knew like, oh, shit Internet. Marcus John's.
David Dobrik
Wait, and then, and then when did you get your first brand deal? Like, when did you realize that? Or did you see other people making money first and you're like, wait, can we make money too?
Zane
We didn't. Well, we didn't know there were brand deals.
David Dobrik
We.
Zane
We just thought they were like, they were just. They like the brand or something. Like, it was just like, it didn't really.
David Dobrik
For fun.
Zane
Yeah. It didn't really hit us until we heard.
David Dobrik
It was not clocking to you.
Zane
It wasn't clocking to me.
David Dobrik
Okay.
Zane
And I was avoiding saying that just because I just said Justin Bieber's name. It would have been too lazy.
David Dobrik
Too many Justin Bieber mentions in one. Okay, so then what happened and why
Zane
it work so well is because it's not like a random person is liking your page. They go and they see two names on one page. So they're like, oh, why is there two names on one page? You click it. The three videos you see, they're all skits. You're like, oh, I don't follow anybody. I'm just going to follow these guys.
David Dobrik
Wow.
Zane
And it like, it. We couldn't believe how quickly it was working like that. Just the, like the percentage of follows from everybody were like. We're like, whoa, this is working way too well. And I feel like nobody else is doing this.
David Dobrik
Yeah. I feel like there was a. There's a lot of people that like had to like cheat the vine system.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
When it happened, like me, I was revind for revining. I had a Jackalinsky fan account. Like, I was definitely Boys of Vine. Huh?
Zane
Boys of Vine.
David Dobrik
Well, Boys of Vine was the biggest account. I didn't own that.
Zane
Oh, yeah.
David Dobrik
No. If I did, that would be a quadruple millionaire billionaire.
Zane
You wouldn't even be here. You'd be in fudgeing.
David Dobrik
No, I'd be. Yeah. I'd be on a private jet somewhere. For sure. Boys of vine was the biggest account ever. I don't know who ran it, but yeah, that's really interesting. You had to like kind of hack it. There are some people that did it like all naturally.
Zane
Oh, absolutely. I mean, I definitely believe that.
David Dobrik
Okay. And then when was the first time you made a dollar?
Zane
We did a Vine for like a dating app called Grouper and we got paid $250 to do it. And we. It was a whole thing we said. We hired like two friends, went to their house, paid her like 25 bucks to help us with it because, you know, that's, you know, you still got.
David Dobrik
Damn, that's really good.
Zane
Yeah, no, no, we would never ask somebody like, dude, we were like. I mean it's. They know it's like a brand. Our first one. So we're like, oh, here, give 20 bucks, 250 bucks.
David Dobrik
So what did you have 250,000 followers at the time?
Zane
No, no, we had maybe like 30,000. Oh, wow, that's early. Or maybe 50,000 followers like around there.
David Dobrik
Damn.
Zane
For sure.
David Dobrik
Maybe.
Zane
But, but, but you were.
David Dobrik
You were probably still in like the top 50 at that time, right?
Zane
No, no, I wouldn't say we were top 50. No, it took us like a while, dude, to get to the top.
David Dobrik
Do you remember that vine ranking website?
Zane
The popular pop up page?
David Dobrik
No, you would check online.
Zane
Oh, social Blade.
David Dobrik
So.
Zane
No, no, there was one before.
David Dobrik
One before it.
Zane
It was called.
David Dobrik
It was something just for Viners. And I remember like checking it a lot to see like where everyone's rank was.
Zane
You're all the optics. I would do the same thing.
David Dobrik
I don't think I was about optics. I was just like so curious and like the vine world. Wow. Okay, so I feel like you cared
Zane
about that though, like how well your video is doing in a certain amount of minutes.
David Dobrik
No, for sure, for sure.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
You know my story with Jack Dietrich, right?
Zane
No.
David Dobrik
Do you know who Jack Dietrich is? Yeah, he. He's the reason I. He's my Marcus Johns.
Zane
Why?
David Dobrik
So he was a. He was huge on vine and, and, and there was one that he was like, like huge. I mean 15000 followers. I had less than a thousand. I posted a funny vine and he messaged me randomly. I never ever spoke to him before. He was just also from Chicago. Yeah, he was like, delete that vine and tomorrow repost it. And I'm gonna have me and my friends re vine it and it's gonna do way better. And I'm like, What? Just.
Zane
Just to like, help you.
David Dobrik
To help me. And at this time, you couldn't repost videos because it was Vine.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
So then he got on like Skype with me and he walked me through how to jailbreak my phone to re upload a video into Vine. Remember? Because you couldn't upload from camera.
Zane
Yeah. You had to upload it from like this special little.
David Dobrik
Yeah, you had to record it in vine and then post through Vine.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
So he taught me how to re upload for no reason. He spent 45 minutes with me on the phone, and then the next day I posted at like 11am Jack Dietrich revines it. And so does this guy Vince Call. Do you remember Vince Call?
Zane
It's like, I think so.
David Dobrik
Very deep cut. Also, like a smaller, like 40,000 followers. Yeah. And.
Zane
But to you, Justin Bieber.
David Dobrik
Yeah, to me it was Justin Bieber. And my vine got to the top of the popular now page because of him. And that started everything.
Zane
What vine was it.
David Dobrik
It was. I was in Walmart and there was. There's like. It was a random Asian couple behind me, and I was like, these are my parents. I'm adopted. It was like, very stupid vine humor.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
And it was like, with random people. So they were looking at me like, what the fuck? And that. It was. There's not. Nothing was really funny.
Zane
Wow. It was. It was so easy back then, but also so hard.
David Dobrik
Yeah. No, I always. I say vine was always the hardest social media job I had because, like, coming up with a Vine every week,
Zane
fucking put a.6 and a half seconds. 6.3 seconds.
David Dobrik
I know it sounds ridiculous, but, like, posting three times a week on YouTube was 100x easier than coming up with.
Zane
Oh, yeah, every week. Because you'd have to take your idea and you have to compress it to six seconds. That's fucking.
David Dobrik
And you have like. And then if it doesn't do I. And I tried everything. I was like, when it was. That was when I was living with Alex Ernst. I was like, okay, this week I'm gonna stay home all day and I'm gonna sit like in my room and I'm gonna come up with a Vine. And when that didn't work, I'm like, okay, next week I'm gonna go out and get drunk every day and have the ideas come to me. Like, I would literally. I was like, going fucking crazy. I was like, how can I attract these ideas the best way? And I've never thought about anything. That's why When I started YouTube, I was like, I have to do three a week. Because if I'm procrastinating and it's always like, last minute, I'm going to be able to post more.
Zane
It's. It's so funny how every, like, thinking of the style of the bits that we would do, I feel like Heath and I. When you're, like, watching the Vines, it feels like you're watching a small clip from a reality TV show.
David Dobrik
Oh, that's how you. That's how you guys looked at it? No, no, no.
Zane
That's how I look at it now. Like, of like when I would. Like when I watch the Vines, it's like a small clip you would see from a reality TV show. And then your clips were. Or your vines were more like. What do you. What would Pun. Not punny, but like a.
David Dobrik
Just like. Like a quick.
Zane
Like a bit like. Like the banana one. The one that comes to my head is the banana. It's like, all right, everybody drop your pants. Yeah, because you're holding a banana and you're saying, like, all right, I'm gonna teach you how to put a condom on. All right, drop your pants. It was something like that. Okay, maybe that one just popped in my head. Yeah, that you did. You don't remember that? I think you were, like, a teacher.
David Dobrik
Yes, yes, yes.
Zane
You remember. You know what I'm talking. You're just embarrassed. You remember the funny. I don't remember.
David Dobrik
No, no, no. Okay, I think I do. What? Wait. What vine did you see? Wait, you DM me first or who DM me?
Zane
You did. We talked about this. And you do this all the time. You DM me first.
David Dobrik
And I know.
Zane
And I know it's difficult to, like, think that, but you. We're the reasons why you just blew the up. And also, you're welcome. It's okay.
David Dobrik
Okay.
Zane
I dm because if you think about it, Zane and Heath were the ones that gathered everybody, and then you kind of just came along, so.
David Dobrik
That's true. I did.
Zane
We kind of orchest frustrated. Everything.
David Dobrik
No, you think about it. I did. No, you definitely, like. You definitely, like, had the friend group, and then I plopped in.
Zane
Honestly, you know what? I wouldn't even take credit. It was Heath, really, because I. I didn't know how to make friends. He was the one that was able to, like, really easily make friends.
David Dobrik
Who was responding to me on the messages?
Zane
Me. Oh, I'm good. Everything. Not in person. I'm good at. I'm good on the phone. He was never gonna. He would never DM a binder ever.
David Dobrik
And then, like, do came over. He took over.
Zane
Yeah. Pretty much as soon as I come around, I would hide in the room, and then he does the rest.
David Dobrik
Oh, that's really funny.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
No. Okay.
Zane
That's why we work so well together. That's a really good dynamic. That's like, you know, like, the, like, all the uploading, I would go, you know, like how it took 45 minutes to upload. I would do all of that. But then he was really good at just, like, the comedy of it. It was just like, a perfect duo.
David Dobrik
Like, that is interesting.
Zane
Yeah.
Elliot
Lucky.
David Dobrik
I remember, like, the thing I remember the most is every time we would talk about brand deals, because I feel like, especially at the beginning of, like, the vine stages, all we would talk about is money because it was just so crazy and interesting to us. And it was. I always remember, like, every time you guys would have. You guys would say a dollar amount, you'd be like, we're getting paid $25,000 for this. And then at the end of all those conversations, you always be like, well,
Zane
but we have to split it. Well, you split it.
David Dobrik
That was really, really funny. Yeah. Okay. And then from there, we hung out. The first day, we went to lunch. I came to your apartment, and then we just started hanging.
Zane
You just really liked us. You really liked us, and we felt bad for you. And you're. You are so. You were so determined, and we're like, oh, that's so cute. Like, we don't have to try that hard anymore. But, like, he really, like, he want. He needs to get up there with us.
David Dobrik
Determined to be friends with you or determined to be a vine.
Zane
Determined to, like, be a bigger viner. Because, you know, we had. We were already up at, like, 4.55 mil, you know, like, that big.
David Dobrik
What was I at, like, 600k?
Zane
Oh, yeah, you were small. You had nothing.
David Dobrik
This is charity.
Zane
It was charity. Just, you know, Heath and I, like, we. We're pretty much retired at that point. We're smoking our cigarettes. We don't need to work to our. We're post, like, once every three weeks. We're good.
David Dobrik
I was like an apprentice.
Zane
Yeah, you're. We. We're like, you know what? Let's help. Let's help the poor sucker out. Yeah.
David Dobrik
Yeah. And that's really, really generous of you guys.
Zane
And then when you bought that camera and you started vlogging, we're like, oh, he thinks he's gonna be a YouTuber. That's so cute. And then after two months, it's like, hey, Dave, you want to come over and vlog? Because we quickly started to realize that, oh, this isn't going to last long for us guys.
David Dobrik
Let's be honest. Who doesn't want to find the best deals, especially on live event tickets? Which is why I want to give today's sponsor, SeatGeek, a huge shout out. With over 35 million downloads, SeatGeek is the number one rated ticketing app. There are more than 70,000 events listed on SeatGeek, including sports festivals and more. Guys, I mean, listen, anytime you want to get a ticket, use seat. There was a time actually when we were making, when we were making vlogs and we were doing all the seeking galleries, I needed to buy tickets to something and I forgot where to get tickets for a moment. So I'm going to let you remind you right now, it's seatgeek. I know a lot of times in my videos it seems like they're just giving away cars. No, they're absolutely incredible at giving you the best prices on tickets. Each ticket is rated on a scale of 1 to 10. So you know you're getting good deal. So look for the green dots. Green means good, red means bad. Concert season is about to kick off. To make it even better, you can use code VIEWS10 for 10% off your seeking tickets. That's 10% off tickets with promo code VIEWS10. Make sure you click the link in the description to download the app and have the code automatically added to your account so you can use it later. Thank you, Seatgeek. Well, my favorite was everyone's approach to YouTube because Vine was dying and we were all panicking. We were like, actually, I wasn't panicking. Everyone was panicking. Zane, I think, was panicking the most.
Zane
Me. Oh, yeah, I was.
David Dobrik
Because Zayn. Zayn started renting out restaurants and, like, getting, like, you, like, hired, like, actors and lighting crews because you were like
Zane
over the, for the Facebook bit. So I was like, what the are you talking about? Well, you were making videos that were like. Well, yeah, because I was. Yeah, again, I was freaking out. This is like when I was like, okay, let's do. I'm gonna go on YouTube. I have to go on YouTube. But it was not, it was not clocking. It was not. I was not able to get. I, I, I would do, I would do those Vines where I was promoting Instagram on the vine as vine, and I wasn't getting anybody to transfer over to, like, anything else of mine. That's how I knew those 4.5 million were just dead, but we're just not.
David Dobrik
But it was funny because you were. You had so much money from vine that you were putting on these big productions for your Facebook and then they weren't.
Zane
Well, they weren't that expensive because a lot of times like Collab was helping out with like the.
David Dobrik
Yeah, but you had scripts printed out, I remember.
Zane
Well, yeah, I was, I was trying to, I was trying to be like Lele Pons. I was like doing anything I could to, to maneuver from vine because we, yeah, we were, we were dying.
David Dobrik
That was crazy. Wow.
Zane
Daddy Dobrik saved us all. Now look where we are. We're on the water in Miami beach with Netflix stars, businessman. Look, look at. He doesn't even fucking listen to us anymore because he's just now making so much money on his own.
David Dobrik

David Dobrik
He used us and dumped us. Georgia's also here. That's the Netflix star. Hi.
Zane
Hi, Georgia.
David Dobrik
Georgia George just joined in. She's here in Miami for another trip with us. How are you? How are you since Rio?
Georgia Hazarotti
Honestly, Coachella really rocked me. I can't lie. Two weeks I went.
David Dobrik
Wait, did.
Georgia Hazarotti
You weren't there, were you?
David Dobrik
I was at home. You went for two weeks?
Georgia Hazarotti
I did. Because week one, my phone blew up. I was telling Zayn this night one just blew up. So I couldn't find anyone. And I was just kind of actually
David Dobrik
like, oh, not like people were hitting you up.
Georgia Hazarotti
I was on the phone to someone. No, it just started.
Zane
She says. She said it sizzled up and blew up. Like, that's rare.
David Dobrik
An iPhone or like a Samsung Galaxy.
Georgia Hazarotti
Why would I ever have a Samsung? That's.
Zane
So unless you have a very big
Georgia Hazarotti
deal, I'd rather communicate with, like, smoke signals or something.
David Dobrik
Looks like you were. So it literally blew up.
Georgia Hazarotti
Yeah, I was back to, like, I was finding people. I. I couldn't find my address. This was crazy. I was staying with a brand. I couldn't find the address to where I was staying. So I had to find a random person, get them to DM one of the girls that was staying in the house.
Elliot
I'm not kidding.
Georgia Hazarotti
A random person.
David Dobrik
It'd be funny if you had to DM the brand. Like, hello, Netflix, do you know where?
Zane
I'm with one of your stars right now.
David Dobrik
Hi, Apple tv. I'm with Georgia. She's looking for the house you guys have here.
Zane
I'm Georgia Hazarotti.
Georgia Hazarotti
Her phone's almost.
David Dobrik
Yeah, that's crazy.
Georgia Hazarotti
Horrible. I went to the Apple store day two for like, three hours were there.
David Dobrik
I imagine there's a lot of people at the Apple Store.
Georgia Hazarotti
There was a lot. And they were like, okay, minimum wait time to get someone to look at it. It's like three hours. And I'm like, just let me buy a new phone. I don't care. It's just.
Zane
And these are all festival goers that were going back in there for fun.
Georgia Hazarotti
People that have, like, had a phone stolen. And I'm just standing there so, so hungover. And I'm like, this is genuinely the worst thing that could happen to me ever. Couldn't get an Uber or anything. So I had to, like, bring someone.
David Dobrik
But I don't get it. Like, that type of experience would have me not come back for weekend too.
Georgia Hazarotti
That's the thing. I went home. I flew all the way back to New York as well.
David Dobrik
Oh, my God.
Georgia Hazarotti
No, I know, I know, Georgia, you're fucking psychotic. And I was, like, crying on the phone to my mom. I'm like, I had the worst time. I should have enjoyed this. Was Justin Bieber, like, I'm such a big fan. Yeah. And then I had an offer to go back and I was like, like, is that kind of crazy? Yeah, it is, but I'm doing it.
David Dobrik
You went with, like, another brand.
Georgia Hazarotti
Yeah, I went with absolute. Just went back and had a great time.
Zane
And absolutely amazing.
Elliot
You redeemed yourself.
Georgia Hazarotti
Absolutely amazing time. But, yeah, there was like, no, it wasn't as crazy. I like Weekend Too Sick.
Ad Voice 1
Really?
David Dobrik
Is. Are the rumors true about Weekend too?
Georgia Hazarotti
Yes. I would say, like, the vibe is not as good, but the performance is a way better. Like, it's kind of dead.
Zane
Oh, wait, I thought you said the vibes were good.
Georgia Hazarotti
The vibes are good because the performances are amazing. But there's no one you know go there.
Zane
You don't know one person.
David Dobrik
That's funny. That's a very influential perspective because the whole thing about Weekend too is there's no influencers.
Zane
No one's there. No one you know is there. But it's packed. But everyone else is.
Georgia Hazarotti
I kind of like that, though, because week one, you're kind of stopping every five minutes to say hi to people you know, and, like, not really seeing anything.
David Dobrik
Yes.
Georgia Hazarotti
I went back and just watched everything.
Zane
Influencers don't get recognized once that week or two. Yeah, the vibes are just off. No, nobody was coming up to me.
David Dobrik
It's about famous.
Georgia Hazarotti
No, I love that.
Zane
No, no, me too.
David Dobrik
No, me too.
Georgia Hazarotti
I could do whatever.
Zane
My anxiety skyrockets when people start coming up to me.
David Dobrik
Wow. Okay.
Georgia Hazarotti
I get so anxious.
David Dobrik
Yeah, it's just that the performances are better just because. Yeah, you don't have, like, they don't want to front load it on weekend one and then disappoint people too, so that they can probably go crazier on the side.
Zane
Have they always done that Weekend too?
Elliot
I went a couple years ago and
Georgia Hazarotti
it was sick weekend too. Like, they bring out better guests every time because they're trying to, like, make it better than week one, I feel like.
Zane
But they, like, bring out much better people. I feel like.
Georgia Hazarotti
Yeah, so Madonna, Snoop Dogg.
Zane
It's a smart business move, though, because they know everyone will show up to weekend one. So, like, how can we get everybody to come back yeah. How do we get the Georgias to
Georgia Hazarotti
come back next year? I'm like, two weekends, which I don't know if I will, but I would do.
David Dobrik
I wonder if it'll ever shift, like, in the influencer sphere to weekend too. That seems like.
Georgia Hazarotti
I don't think.
Zane
I don't think so.
Georgia Hazarotti
No.
Zane
People are too.
Georgia Hazarotti
You want to get the content.
Zane
Yeah, yeah.
Elliot
But there is, like, there. I feel like. Like, I saw a lot of, like, brands for weekend too, and, like, stage Coach is becoming such a big thing, you know? Like, it's kind of, like, filtering out to all the other weekends.
David Dobrik
Yeah. I want to try Stagecoach.
Zane
We should. We should go next year.
Georgia Hazarotti
Yeah. I've never done it.
Zane
Let's.
David Dobrik
I love the idea you can have a beer outside of a beer garden. I'm such a big beer guy. And Stagecoach, I think, is, like, super, super.
Elliot
You hate country music.
Zane
It's not the music. The vibe. The vibe is honestly, like, to me, Stagecoach, the people are fond of.
David Dobrik
But yeah, to me, than Coach, it's smaller.
Elliot
You can drink anywhere, smoke a cigarette anywhere. You can do whatever you want.
Zane
Did you see the art they saw a. Stagecoach sold more alcohol the first day than both weekends of Coachella combined. That's how you know they're having a better time. Wait, that's.
David Dobrik
That's insane, though.
Georgia Hazarotti
Both weekends combined.
Zane
One time you could walk around with. You could walk around with your drinks, and I think there's just more bars everywhere in general.
David Dobrik
100. The fact that you can walk around is, like, really, really, really nice.
Zane
Yes.
David Dobrik
But another place that I had fun that I didn't think I'd have fun was recently.
Georgia Hazarotti
Yes.
David Dobrik
Yes. Georgia. We went to Disney World.
Georgia Hazarotti
I'm so annoyed that I didn't come.
David Dobrik
Oh, you have been so fun.
Zane
Yeah. You would have loved it.
David Dobrik
Oh, my God. You have been perfect.
Zane
You can experience traveling and not get Bali Belly. It's amazing.
Georgia Hazarotti
It was warn you guys about that. I scared the out of you, and I was right.
Zane
No. Yeah, you were right.
Georgia Hazarotti
I was, like, giving it to you guys, and it got a little too serious, and I'm like, okay, no, you guys are gonna.
Zane
Well, you got ser. Because I literally got it as soon as you said it, which is insane. She goes volleyball. I'm like, this conversation is making me sick. And I went straight to my room, and I did not leave for five days.
David Dobrik
Yeah. So George was with us in Rio, and when she brought up Bali Belly in Rio because we were going to Bali next, that's when Zane got sick
Zane
in the moment she's talking about. I'm like, come on, Georgia, this is making me sick.
Georgia Hazarotti
45 minutes before that. And he's just profusing. He's like, I don't feel good.
Zane
We're eating dinner. I'm like, bro, is it hot in here? And I was like, no.
David Dobrik
That was the scariest comment when you said, is anybody else really hot?
Georgia Hazarotti
And I was actually cold and there was egg.
Elliot
The AC was blowing in our faces.
David Dobrik
Oh, man.
Zane
That was terrible. That was terrible. Definitely the worst, worst sickness I've ever had.
David Dobrik
But we just went to. So we went to Disney World. This was my. I guess my first time as an adult or like somebody that can, like, actually understand what's going on. We're going to put this in the vlog, I think, in two weeks.
Georgia Hazarotti
Weeks.
David Dobrik
But we went drinking around the world.
Georgia Hazarotti
Wow.
Zane
And it's like the thing to do. I thought this was just an idea that we were doing, but everybody.
David Dobrik
No, there's a lot of people doing it.
Zane
Yeah. I didn't even know that it's a thing,
Elliot
like, less.
Georgia Hazarotti
I didn't even know you could drink.
David Dobrik
I don't think it was that child. Heavy.
Zane
No, it wasn't. Because parents don't like to bring their kids to Epcot because there's no. There's really no good rides. There's no.
David Dobrik
Oh, yeah. So that's what I didn't understand about Disney World. I thought it was all rock rides, but it is. We went on one.
Zane
No, it is. Disney World is. Magic Kingdom is all rides. Where we went to only has, like, maybe four solid rides.
David Dobrik
Oh, okay.
Georgia Hazarotti
Wow.
David Dobrik
So basically drinking around the world is. Epcot's broken into different countries. You start with Mexico, then you go Norway, whatever. And each place you get a drink that's, like, native to that land. So we got a margarita, which is the worst?
Zane
Slushy. Yeah, it's a slushy.
David Dobrik
And we had to knock this thing back crazy.
Zane
And it literally had like 150 grams of sugar. So you finish it and you're just. Headache already is pounding.
David Dobrik
It was our first drink. And then. And then we. We kind of. What happened? Take. Take me through it. Then we went to.
Elliot
We went to Norway.
David Dobrik
No. This was the closest I've come to black.
Zane
No. Georgia.
David Dobrik
We got hammered.
Elliot
Serious?
David Dobrik
Yes.
Zane
Unbelievably. We're also filming, so we're in our head. We're like. We really have to, like, we gotta amp this.
David Dobrik
And I was really drunk.
Georgia Hazarotti
Wow.
David Dobrik
Because we got two to. Where did we get to? We got to, like, our 10th country. This is our 10th drink. I think we were like, in Ireland or something, or uk and then they were serving Guinnesses.
Georgia Hazarotti
Oh, done.
David Dobrik
So I was like, I'm going to. I'm gonna see. I'm gonna split the G. No, I went way past the G. I was like. I said, I'm going to, like, race people to beat people.
Elliot
Like a chugging contest.
David Dobrik
Like a chugging contest. Sorry.
Zane
And betting people a thousand bucks in the bar.
David Dobrik
Yes.
Georgia Hazarotti
You're insane.
David Dobrik
So I finished my first Guinness. I beat this girl. And then this other person came and they wanted to challenge me. It was a father of this kid. And then I beat him. And then I. And then I raced another, like, Australian, because he was like, Yeah. I chucked three Guinnesses after my 10 drinks. And the second I finished my third, I turned to our film or scan. I was like, I gotta go puke. And went right to the bathroom, vomited my heart out. Then I'm fast forwarding a lot. Then when we got back to the hotel, vomited all over the bathroom. I left a note for the hotel. I said, I'm sorry. Left $500 because I. But it was nice.
Zane
He tried to clean it up. You see handprints everywhere.
David Dobrik
Him trying to clean wasn't all over the hotel room. It was all toilet. The toilet seat wasn't open.
Georgia Hazarotti
Oh, no.
David Dobrik
And I saw it, and it went, like, from five feet away, I hit that, like. Like a water.
Georgia Hazarotti
It would have just, like, ricocheted on the wall. That's crazy.
David Dobrik
Really drunk at this kid. This kid came up to me. This bothered me all night.
Zane
It really did.
David Dobrik
This kid came up to me and asked me to borrow. Like, not to borrow. To trade hats. He was like, what, 11 years old? Yeah, yeah, he was 11. He's like, can we trade hats? And it was like my favorite hat. From Miracle Academy.
Elliot
From Namia.
David Dobrik
From Namiya. Sorry. It says Miracle on it. It was a blue hat. And I thought about it, but he was, like, so sweet and so cute. I was like, okay, let's trade. He gave me his bucket hat. I hate bucket hats. And then, like, five minutes later, Natalie even came up to me. She's like, why did you do that? That's your favorite hat. Like, why would you do that? And then it really sunk into me. I was like, why did I do that? And then I was like. To the kid, I was like, hey, I have a hundred bucks. Can I please have the hat back? And this is the kid whose dad I just beat in a chugging contest. So I thought he'd have a little more sympathy for, for the, for the champion. And the kid was like, no, I'm going to sell it on ebay. I'm like, okay, why are you being so rude to me?
Georgia Hazarotti
Why are you pulling me? That's my hat.
David Dobrik
Like, like I'm giving, I'm going to give you 100 bucks and you'll never get that. You can't sell it on ebay. Like, you're not going to get. No, you can't even get a hat pricing for that hat.
Zane
You won't even get 20 bucks. Mind you.
Georgia Hazarotti
I'm insta pull up every time you've ever worn it in a slide shop.
Zane
And Georgia, mind you, I'm instigating on the side. I'm like, like, go up, like with the price.
Elliot
Ask for more.
Zane
Go up higher, higher.
David Dobrik
I would have bought it back for more, but I was just too drunk. I had to go to the bathroom.
Georgia Hazarotti

You should have seen just our group in general. I can't believe Epcot we're able to walk around with the camera. That camera right there, we're able to walk around. It was crazy.
Georgia Hazarotti
Wow.
Zane
And we were hammered. And not one employee came up to us and said like, you Guys need to calm down. We even had a guide with us. Like, not one point.
David Dobrik
You make that sound like we were
Zane
like, they weren't doing anything crazy. No, no. But we were still, like.
Georgia Hazarotti
Still.
David Dobrik
Yeah. I get you.
Zane
You know, like, it was rowdy.
David Dobrik
I was. I was surprised. We weren't like. Like.
Zane
No, we weren't disrespectful. Yes, we weren't disrespectful.
David Dobrik
It wasn't like that. But it. It. Even if we were sober with the camera, I was shocked that the camera was in.
Zane
Exactly.
David Dobrik
Yeah. But our. Our security and our. We had, like, the best tour guide ever. Shout out. Robert. He was so cool. He. What did he post on his Instagram the next day?
Elliot
He was like. He posted a story of the fireworks, and he was like, yesterday was. Reminds me why I love this job. He's been doing it for 15 years.
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Elliot
I love days like today.
David Dobrik
We just had such a good time with him. Yeah, he was really, really fun.
Georgia Hazarotti
I'm kind of glad I wasn't there then, because I probably would have been crazy.
Zane
Georgia. We had, like, 15 different types of alcohol.
David Dobrik
It was crazy. It was like three weeks, three different slushies.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Like, mind you, we're going to, like, Japan, right?
Zane
We're gonna do sake,
David Dobrik
wine. Yeah, Wine. Like, it was everything, but it was. It was.
Elliot
Actually.
David Dobrik
Everyone was pretty fine.
Zane
The beers.
David Dobrik
The beers did me over, but everybody was really good. I had one of the best times ever.
Zane
We got to the fireworks show, and it literally felt like we're going back to Coachella because everybody's in the grass on the floor. We're like, wait, I'm rolling right now.
David Dobrik
Zayn has a picture of me. Ilya and Zane just passed out on the grass.
Zane
On the grass with a baby behind us in a stroller just like
David Dobrik
as the Disney fireworks are going to.
Zane
And David, you're legitimately. You're crying. You're tearing up watching the fireworks.
David Dobrik
I like to play that. I wasn't crying. I just think it was. I think it's really beautiful, like, to watch the fireworks and be like, this is. This is. I. I know.
Zane
Or was it your hat?
Georgia Hazarotti
He was crying about his. He's crying. He's like that little kid that's just
Zane
in his bucket hat. Like, I hate my life.
Georgia Hazarotti
What the have I done?
Zane
No, no, no.
David Dobrik
But what's so cool about the Disney fireworks is, like, it's not just fireworks. Fireworks, they project onto the castle all these famous lines from these famous Disney movies. It's, like, so nostalgic for A kid.
Zane
It's an amazing show.
David Dobrik
I can't imagine as a kid. Yeah. It's like you're. You're hearing Peter Pan, then you see the balloons from the house.
Zane
It was a little creepy, but I had my camera on one kid that. Sorry, let me finish. There was this kid in the front and the way he was jumping up and down in my house. I Like, he's never going to forget this moment. It was. Yeah. Cor. I was like, wow, I wish I had that.
Georgia Hazarotti
Wow.
Zane
I wish I had that as a kid.
David Dobrik
No, I was, I was actually. I. I would never consider myself a Disney hater, but I. I was not. I was not a believer walking into it. Like when we got there, I was like, I don't understand.
Georgia Hazarotti
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Like what this is. But then, but then when I saw it, I was. After the night, I was really, really blown away. So, Georgia, next time you gotta go. And today we have. Have and now we're doing Miami F1. We're actually waiting for you to tell us. It's. What day is it right now? It's Friday. Tomorrow, Saturday, and the next day, Sunday. That's how the week works. Yes, but that's three different nights to go out. Do you want to go out tonight?
Georgia Hazarotti
So that's the thing. I've been trying to figure that out. I feel like tomorrow night's gonna be crazy.
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Georgia Hazarotti
But I do want to go out tonight. But maybe chill tame tomorrow. Really fun.
Zane
The next we said she said she'll tame, which is.
David Dobrik
Can you just, can you. Okay.
Zane
Okay.
David Dobrik
Zane, that's not possible.
Georgia Hazarotti
I know.
David Dobrik
I, I. Friday night in Miami. We have. Our dinner starts at 10pm Right. There's no such thing. We're gonna get there.
Zane
I'm gonna be like, have a couple glasses of wine, just smoke a cigarette and then you, you hit.
David Dobrik
We're gonna run into 10 friends and we're gonna be at 11 till 4 in the morning.
Georgia Hazarotti
That's the thing. Yeah.
David Dobrik
There's no chill nights in Miami. That's what I'm saying. Even if we, even if we go to dinner, we're so like, we have to make that decision. And Natalie has no control or conception of who she is when she goes out. And like, that's why I don't want her to go out. Because if Natalie goes out tonight, she's gonna ruin the next two nights.
Zane
Yeah. And she won't, she won't leave the bed. Doesn't matter.
Elliot
He.
Zane
He can, he can threaten her, her job, everything. She doesn't care. Like I'm not leaving.
David Dobrik
I could slap her. Whatever.
Georgia Hazarotti
I love that about Natalie because then we have fun. You guys are boring.
David Dobrik
Yeah, but it's the worst. She like front loads her weekends.
Elliot
Yeah, I just get really excited early
David Dobrik
on and like just chill tomorrow. We have such a big day.
Elliot
I know, but like there's so many fun things happening.
Georgia Hazarotti
We're Sagittarius. We don't do that. Like we're party fun people with life.
David Dobrik
I was really hoping, Georgia, you'd come up here and talk some.
Georgia Hazarotti
Well, I am also being really responsible in my mindset right now, cuz also
David Dobrik
Sunday night we are going out. Like Sunday night is a proper night to go out.
Zane
Oh, really?
David Dobrik
I.
Zane
You see, I. I feel like we're not going to go out.
David Dobrik
No, no, we are. I have just gotten confirmation that we
Zane
are going out, but we have something good.
Georgia Hazarotti
Okay, then we need a chill.
Elliot
What are we doing on Sunday?
David Dobrik
I'll tell you about it after. After. But we got to take it easy right now.
Elliot
Better be good, brother. Better be good.
David Dobrik
Yeah, just please believe me.
Georgia Hazarotti
Oh, he's lying.
Zane
Is it an orgy? No, no, no.
David Dobrik
Sunday comes around. I'm like, time to go to the movies.
Elliot
Wait, I have a funny. Like my first. I. I didn't want to intervene cuz you guys were bonding on the vine stuff.
David Dobrik
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Elliot
But my first like Zayn and Heath interaction that I ever had.
David Dobrik
Oh wow.
Zane
God.
Elliot
When I first came to LA and David called me and was like, hey, I want you to come out here and help decorate my home. Right? That was like before. It was in like 2017 and her first time visiting.
Zane
She didn't even work for you yet. Hey, can you decorate the house? She wasn't even on the payroll yet.
Elliot
He did pay me. He did pay me. He was like, I'll pay. I think he was like, I'll pay you two grand. He'll come out and decorate my whole home.
Zane
Damn, that's really good.
Georgia Hazarotti
Which was.
Elliot
I was like, I'll be, I'll be there. And I was also like, you have a home. You.
David Dobrik
Oh, me, me, me, me.
Elliot
I was like, number one, you have a home. And number two. Yes.
David Dobrik
Yeah, yeah. Okay, okay. Anyway, so two grand's incredible.
Elliot
Incredible. And I think you gave us like $20,000 to decorate the whole home or whatever. Which I was like, 20. Yeah, but.
David Dobrik
Which then they came back and they were like, it's not enough.
Elliot
Yeah, because it wasn't.
David Dobrik
Yeah, but that was insane. I was fucking 14.
Elliot
You're not 14.
Georgia Hazarotti
You were like 21.
David Dobrik
Whatever.
Elliot
Anyways, and it was a whole home. You didn't have a single. He didn't have a sheet. He didn't have a towel. He had nothing.
Zane
Anyway, I'm. I. When you said decorate the home, I thought you meant for, like, for a party, so I was confused. This is just to fill up the house.
David Dobrik
This is when I bought Terry View.
Zane
Got.
Elliot
When he bought his first home.
David Dobrik
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Elliot
And there was nothing in the house, obviously. And we hadn't gone to the furniture store yet. And there was no. There was no bed. There was no bed for Reggie and I to sleep on. So David was like, my friends Zane and Heath have this incredible couch. You should just go over to their apartment and take the cushions from the couch. It's really comfortable. And then just put them on the floor and you guys can sleep there for the.
David Dobrik
Shut the fuck up.
Zane
Wait, what?
Georgia Hazarotti
Yes. This is what you did.
Zane
Wait, what?
Elliot
So you sent me and Reggie. Me and Reggie go knocking on Zane and Heath's, like, apartment door.
Zane
Why don't I remember this?
Elliot
Because. Because there was no reason for you to remember me at this time. Like, I was just some random girl from David's hometown.
Zane
Wait, what?
Elliot
Yes.
David Dobrik
Wait, wait. Where did you live in Hollywood?
Elliot
It was, like. It was, like, by Wilshire.
Zane
Was it open? Was it, like, a box? Like the apartment?
Elliot
I walked in. The kitchen was on the right. The sofa was over here. You were in your bedroom. You came out, like, hungover as. And I was like, where the am I? Who are these people?
Zane
The Denny house.
Elliot
It wasn't Denny.
Zane
Oh, wait.
Elliot
It was before.
David Dobrik
Was Heath's room on the right and Zayn's on the left? Like, it was split?
Zane
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
David Dobrik
Okay. Okay. It's. It's the Wilshire house. The Wilshire apartment.
Elliot
Okay.
Zane
You were in the Wilshire apartment?
David Dobrik
Yeah. That's crazy.
Zane
What we're like, were Heath and I home? Like, did you get access when we. I do not remember this. There's no way.
David Dobrik
I don't remember ever being like, zayn, can they come use your cushions?
Elliot
Yes. You did.
David Dobrik
I called Zayn and I asked.
Elliot
Yes.
David Dobrik
And then Zayn was like, come.
Elliot
He was like, yeah, of course they
Georgia Hazarotti
can take the couch cushions.
Elliot
So I came over, and it was like.
Zane
I probably thought it was, like, homeless people. I don't know.
David Dobrik
I mean, technically, yes.
Elliot
And then Reggie and I come over. You and Heath come out. You're, like, hungover as fuck. You start taking the cushions off your couch. I'm putting, like, Reggie and I are, like, one by one, taking them down into the car, taking them back to Terry View. And then we put them on the floor in Terry View. And like, Reggie and I slept there for two days on Zane and Heath's couch cushions.
David Dobrik
Whoa. That's crazy.
Elliot
Isn't that crazy?
David Dobrik
Wait, why didn't you just get an earbud bed?
Elliot
I have. No, the way that David insisted that this couch was going to change our lives.
Zane
Like, okay, that's black couch. Like our.
Elliot
No, it was like blue. Like marled.
David Dobrik
Like, I still remember it.
Zane
Oh, wait. Okay, so this was not the Wilshire apartment. This was the. This was the Cling apartment.
Elliot
I. I mean, I have no idea.
Zane
That was when we had that blue couch. Okay, like you're talking about the long blue couch.
Elliot
Yes.
Zane
Yeah. Yeah. That was. That was cling.
David Dobrik
Cling.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Yeah. Okay. Wow.
Zane
So that was after Denny.
David Dobrik
It was after Denny. Yeah.
Zane
Yeah. Because remember, we all separated. We all.
David Dobrik
Funny, these names mean so much to us, but people listening have never really heard them. I mean, they know Denny now, but like, they've never heard him because obviously that there are addresses, our street.
Zane
But that was the only way we Cling.
David Dobrik
Alamar, Bellingham. Bellingham.
Zane
That's so crazy.
David Dobrik
Like, these are like big streets that.
Zane
Altaview.
David Dobrik
Altaview.
Zane
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Wow.
Zane
And we're the only ones that do that. It's so crazy. No, no.
David Dobrik
Everyone does that.
Elliot
Yeah, I'm sure.
Zane
Really? Yeah.
David Dobrik
Yeah, yeah. When I hear other people do it, I was like, oh, my God, you
Zane
guys do that too?
Elliot
Sick.
David Dobrik
Okay. And then you. Yeah.
Elliot
And that's. Yeah.
David Dobrik
Wow. That is really ass backwards. Instead of getting a mattress, you guys went to Zane Heat's house.
Zane
I mean, it was a comfortable couch.
David Dobrik
Yes, it was. I think that I have an obsession with couches and I think I must have had a fixation with that couch at the time where I was like, no, this is better than anything you'll ever see.
Zane
I was like, there's no way. It was the first wool shirt. Because the couch that we had had was like literally like a porn casting couch. I remember it was like the black leather three seater. It's been sunken in. Just like it's just been used. So I was like, I really don't think it's like one of those you
David Dobrik
pick up on the side of the street. Yeah, yeah.
Zane
100. And that's where people would sleep when they'd come over. There was nowhere else to sleep but that couch. So it was just like, just dented.
David Dobrik
In my first picture, hanging out with you guys is me laying on that couch. I Think. Yeah, I remember that, but, yeah. Wow, that's crazy. So Zane didn't even know who you were. He was just helping you load up.
Zane
And that's how good of a person I am. Guys, I let random strangers in the house.
David Dobrik
All right, guys. Well, that's all the time we have for today's podcast.
Zane
Oh, that's it.
David Dobrik
Thank you, guys.
Zane
Oh, wow. Zany thumb folder. Much longer episodes and have more substance. Oh, I think Georgia has a podcast too. Georgia, why don't you plug yours in too?
David Dobrik
I was getting to that.
Zane
All right.
David Dobrik
What's your. What's your part, Georgia?
Georgia Hazarotti
He always does. You're really sweet.
David Dobrik
Like, what's your pod?
Georgia Hazarotti
It's girls disrupted.
David Dobrik
Incredible. Have you listened to a pod thing?
Zane
I have. I've seen a lot of. Yeah.
Georgia Hazarotti
Clips from prison on there. We called him in prison.
Elliot
Really?
Georgia Hazarotti
Actually really fun.
David Dobrik
Wait, called who from prison?
Georgia Hazarotti
Joe Exotic.
Zane
Wait, no way.
Elliot
Yeah.
Georgia Hazarotti
How'd you get 200 bucks?
Zane
That's crazy to him.
Georgia Hazarotti
And I thought we got scammed. We're sitting in the. The podcast studio. My phone rang on a no caller ID and it was like a prison call. Like, do you accept this call? I'm like, it's him.
Zane
That's sick the way that starts, too. Wait, wait.
David Dobrik
For 200 bucks, you could call Joe Exotics.
Georgia Hazarotti
Yeah, he was advertising. I had this dream that I wanted him on the podcast. Weirdly, next day, I've gone on his Instagram and he's doing calls from prison for 200 bucks. That was meant to happen.
David Dobrik
What a really good business deal for him.
Zane
Yeah. And 200. That takes you far in terms.
David Dobrik
200 is priced fairly.
Zane
Two.
David Dobrik
Two on both ends for half an hour.
Georgia Hazarotti
It's great. I'm like, great for us
David Dobrik
even. Even if, like, if I was just, like, hanging out with my hometown friends and we got really high, if we all put money together to call Joe Exotics after we, like, watch the show and everything.
Zane
Oh, yeah.
David Dobrik
200 bucks is incredible. Deal.
Elliot
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Yeah. Wow.
Zane
Great first guest, too. Is that your first guest?
Georgia Hazarotti
No, it was one of the first. Yeah, but he was great.
Zane
That's a good first guy.
Georgia Hazarotti
We played out Mary Kill with him, and I was like, that's kind of, like, kind of iconic.
Zane
Oh, wait, wait, wait.
Georgia Hazarotti
Did. Oh, wow.
David Dobrik
That went right over my head. Did he kill. Did he kill someone?
Georgia Hazarotti
No, he's, like, in there for attempted murder.
Zane
For attempted murder, though.
Georgia Hazarotti
But yeah, I was kind of like, that's kind of on the fence.
Zane
But did he. Did he say. Did he say kill the person?
Georgia Hazarotti
Jacob AI. Which I was shocked about. Like, you don't really know what you're killing.
David Dobrik
He must have not been outside recently.
Zane
Did you. Did you at all say, like the three? Like Carol Baskin?
Georgia Hazarotti
No, we. I was so close.
David Dobrik
Who were the Mary kills for that?
Georgia Hazarotti
I think it was Leonardo DiCaprio. Someone else. That's hot. And then Jacob. AI. And he said kill. I don't know why he killed Jacob. Crazy. Biggest mistake ever.
Zane
Did he ask him, wait, when does he get out?
Georgia Hazarotti
In a few years. But he. He's doing the calls to get an attorney to help him fight his case to get out.
Zane
Is he gonna go back to tigers after or.
Georgia Hazarotti
I don't know. He's been married. I think he's like, chilling now. He just wants to get out and be.
David Dobrik
What was the whole thing with him that he was illegally had tigers in Florida?
Zane
It was that. But like, the main thing was the attempted murder was Carol Baskin's husband.
Georgia Hazarotti
Yes.
Zane
Right.
David Dobrik
Oh, it was like a show that pivoted into something crazy, right?
Zane
Yeah, yeah, it pivoted into someone.
Georgia Hazarotti
He had someone working for him that was like undercover.
Zane
Yeah.
Georgia Hazarotti
And he was like, paying. He was trying to get a hit on Carol or something.
Zane
Something like that.
David Dobrik
Oh, my God.
Zane
Have you ever. You've seen it?
David Dobrik
I remember. Cuz I think you watched and you're like, you gotta. You gotta get to like, episode. Whatever it.
Zane
No, that was like. That was tv. Like, man, that was electric.
Georgia Hazarotti
Even weird. Harry's in season two. I was watching season two and Harry comes up and I'm like, why is he on this show? He's friends.
Zane
Wait, what was he doing?
Georgia Hazarotti
I'm like, how do you.
David Dobrik
Damn. They put Harry into everything.
Zane
Literally everything. That's wild.
Georgia Hazarotti
Crazy.
David Dobrik
Harry's in the new animated avatar. All right, go listen to all the pods. Go check out everybody. Thank you, guys. See you for the next vlog. Bye.
