Natalie
What's up, guys? Welcome back to Views.
Jason Nash
Let's go.
Natalie
Natalie and Jason are here. We're all back, huh? Tuesday, Tuesday, tomorrow's. And the next one is Thursday.
Naveen
Yeah.
Natalie
And then we travel again to Monaco. We'll bring you back some Monaco stories and then we're back for another round
Jason Nash
back in la teasing the future.
Natalie
The next couple weeks of podcasts are from la, which is nice.
Jason Nash
Love it.
Natalie
Even though we're traveling, we'll be able to come right back for this, which is really exciting. I see some of you guys have come around to what I've been saying about the new Steven Spielberg movie.
Jason Nash
I sent you a TikTok about that.
Natalie
Yeah, yeah. And I said it first. That was not me feeling it from anybody else. I, I think Steven Spielberg is about to introduce us to new to the aliens.
Jason Nash
When's that movie come out?
Natalie
Well, I looked up what disclosure day means and disclosure, that's the movie, what it's called, right? Disclosure day. Yeah, uh, it's, it just means like the day that like everything is disclosed about aliens. I guess, I guess it depends on what you're talking about. Disclosure. But yeah, it's like in terms of
David
aliens, it's the day we all find out what we are and what they are.
Natalie
And yeah, Steven Spielberg's whole thing is that they are, the aliens are us sent back in time to monitor us. It's very, very interesting.
Jason Nash
The aliens are Sent back in time.
David
I don't want to open up with the podcast.
Naveen
He can't prime steering you. I'm like, don't do it.
Natalie
It's gonna freak people out.
Jason Nash
Rogan had a guy on that claims that, like, when people go missing in parks, national parks, like, you know, for years, they're like, oh, it's a serial killer. And now this guy had this guy on who's like, no, no, it's aliens, like, abducting people from the parks secretly.
David
Really?
Jason Nash
Yeah. That's pretty cool.
Natalie
Wait, what did Rogan say about it?
Jason Nash
You know, Rogan's always, like, down to clown.
Natalie
We should just listen to Rogan's podcast on here. And there's like, yeah, ad lib from time to time. I'll go like, you know, he'll talk for 10 minutes. And I go, interesting. That's how.
Jason Nash
Good point.
Natalie
I was watching more, like, Spielberg interviews. This is not about aliens. But he was talking about how when he was making Indiana Jones, like, the
David
original, they had Tom Selleck.
Natalie
Yeah. Like, ready to play Indiana Jones.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
But he was in contract that he was already locked in with another studio to do Magnum P.I. i think.
Jason Nash
Yeah. That was a huge TV show.
David
Yeah. But it wasn't.
Jason Nash
He drove a Ferrari.
Natalie
It wasn't scheduled to shoot until Steven Spielberg wanted Tom Selleck. And then the studio put Magnum PI Immediately through. Like, greenlit it immediately.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
Just to hold Tom Selleck. They're like, oh, we're just going to go with. Spielberg wants him. There's something interesting about him. We're tape. We're doing the show.
David
Wow.
Natalie
Yeah. And then around the same time, George Lucas called Spielberg to come watch the second Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back. It's number five. And just to, like, you know, get a little friendly opinion. Like, when I'm editing the vlogs, you come by.
Jason Nash
Yeah. And I come by.
Natalie
You buy Spielberg.
Jason Nash
John Castro's a star, Dave.
Natalie
Yeah. And he was watching Star wars and. And Spielberg goes, hey, how about that Harrison Ford guy? And Lucas goes, but that's Han Solo. Spielberg goes, he could play both. How crazy is that? Harrison Ford, like, just, like, coming off of Star wars and then being handed a new franchise.
Jason Nash
Harrison Ford had such a great understated way about him, though.
Natalie
What do you mean?
Jason Nash
Like, when I was a kid in Star wars was big. Like, I didn't care about Luke. I liked Han Solo.
Hertz Advertiser
He was.
Jason Nash
He was like, he's so understated. Like, he's so real. And. And he had, like, comedy and. And then when he went into Indiana Jones. Same thing.
Natalie
Well, he was like the most, like in Star Wars. I think he's like the most closest to a real life human.
Jason Nash
Yes, right. Exactly. Yeah, exactly. And same with Indy. Like, he wasn't like this big bravado guy. He was a guy that, like, he was like, just kind of figuring it out.
David
It's kind of cool.
Natalie
He really had life figured out, huh?
Jason Nash
Yeah. I had a blast at your party.
Natalie
Oh, the scary movie.
Jason Nash
So fun.
Natalie
Wow. Thank you.
Jason Nash
Couldn't believe it.
Natalie
Wait, really?
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
I couldn't believe how much I was nervous. We didn't have enough carpet.
Jason Nash
I don't know what you're talking about. No one's looking at the carpet. I heard you say that before the podcast. What are you saying?
David
Carpet?
Natalie
Where I get really bright Zillow about the events at the house.
Jason Nash
I know you do. What was going on with you?
Natalie
Well, the driveway was only carpeted halfway. Oh. And I was like, to create the full entrance experience, it needs to be like, the full driveway needs to be. No, but I guess. I guess you need to notice that. I guess you could walk right past it.
Jason Nash
The funniest part about the party was Naveen was going off. She was having such a good time. So we ended up staying really late. And I remember going over to the bar at like 12 o' clock and when I'm there late, it's like people are seeing a unicorn. It's so fucking funny.
Natalie
Oh, that is really funny.
Jason Nash
Yo, Jason.
Natalie
That is really funny.
Jason Nash
Like, what the fuck? But they're drunk, you know, they're fucking shit faced. I didn't drink anything. And I'm like, like, hey, what's up? They're like, yo, look who's here.
Natalie
Still here, though. That's funny because I think, I think I did. I think I may have seen you, like, briefly, like either walking out or somewhere, like, really late. And that. That was very confusing to me too.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
Yeah. You are the last guy I expect to like, be there. Last like two, three hours.
Jason Nash
I had a really good time.
David
Wow.
Jason Nash
Talking to people. It was fun. I was looking around and I was like, wow. I know so many people here that I've known for like 10 years.
David
Really?
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
Like, usually you come in, you're like, I don't know anybody here.
Jason Nash
Well, a lot of people feel that way at your parties now.
Natalie
Yeah.
Jason Nash
Yeah. A lot of those people feel that way. They're like, who's everybody? And I'm like, well, you know, we all know some people.
Natalie
And this one was different because this was like, like Co hosted by Paramount.
Jason Nash
Yes.
David
So I actually didn't know half the people.
Jason Nash
Oh, yeah. But I mean, I was meeting. I met this one guy, he's like. He's like. He's just like a regular guy. And he came up to me and he was like, hey, I really want to hang out with you. And I was like, okay. And so we started hanging out. But he had no idea who you were. He had no idea where he was.
Natalie
Oh, I. I met him. I think so.
Jason Nash
Yeah. It was so funny. So, and then. And I was talking all night, and then eventually.
Natalie
Older guy, right?
Jason Nash
Huh?
Natalie
Older guy.
Jason Nash
Older guy, like your age? My age, yeah. And then he goes. Then eventually he's like. He's like, well, he's like, you know, la. It's just such a bad place. He's like, it's full of bad people. And then I go, I go, I go, well, actually, the people around here are pretty great. I go, they're like really solid people. And then I go, I go, I mean, the guy who owns the house, David, like, he's the fucking best. Like, he's so nice. He's like, really authentic dude. And then he was like. And I pointed up to your room, you know, like. Cause I don't know where the fuck you were. I never get to see you. Also, when I see you at a party, I, like, hide from you. But so then. And I go. And he goes, he goes. And he was like, david, what? He's like, who? And I'm like, david. He's like, okay, so who owns this house? And I'm like, all right, I'll take you through it. And he's like, so then what does he do? And I was like, he makes content. It was like such a bizarre thing. I was like, I assumed everybody that was here would know you, who you were, whose fucking house they were at.
Natalie
No, there was a couple, like, adults that like, either would come from, like, friends of the studio or friends of neighbors.
Jason Nash
Yes.
Natalie
So there's a lot. There's, you know, we. We obviously open up the house to the neighbors when we have parties because it's like, be incredibly rude to have a Coachella concert in your backyard and have your next door neighbors come. But yeah, this guy, like, lived like down the hill and he came and. Yeah, I remember at the end, he was there late. It was like, it was like midnight now.
Jason Nash
Really?
Natalie
And he was like, he was like, I'm like, really confused by all this. Like, I'm a stranger in your home. And I'm like, yeah, just Come by whenever. And he goes. But, like, he was so confused. He just, like, could not wrap his head around it. And he kept asking me about it, right? And I was like, yeah, I don't know. We're just having, like, a thing, like, are you gonna fucking stab me?
David
I was, like, so confused.
Natalie
I was like, yeah, if you're not gonna kill me, you're all good.
Jason Nash
So he was confused that you even extended the. That you even extended the invitation.
David
I guess. I guess. I don't know.
Jason Nash
I hung out with your mom and
David
dad always, like, a thing to explain to people that it's like, I don't know. Like, that's the whole point of the house.
Jason Nash
Yeah. I told my friend, my. My. My older friend that I was at a party and Lizzo was there, and he was like, what?
David
Yeah.
Jason Nash
What do you mean?
David
It was really funny. I walked down yesterday and people were playing pickleball here, and it was. It was like. Who was it? It was like, Josh Richards. Yeah, it was like, Erak.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
Jay Shetty. Yeah, it was like all these, like, random corners of the Internet.
Natalie
Yeah, it was really funny. They were just all here. I'm like, oh, this is so cool.
Jason Nash
That's fun, though.
David
Yeah, no, I think. I think it's great. Yeah, it's so interesting. And I like that people stop by for, like, an hour or two. Like, I think that's fun because I think, like, how I imagined it, because I actually thought about it. Like, when Erak was over, I was
Jason Nash
like, you go down and say hello?
David
Not really. I'm usually not up when everyone's here. I'm, like, sleeping for long.
Jason Nash
What time was that at?
David
This was at, like, 11.
Jason Nash
11am yeah.
David
Usually I'm, like, still in bed. Like, especially when I'm home, I'm, like, not really doing anything. So I'm like, I'm really gonna be in bed for a while. But this time, I had to go play pickleball. I had a pickleball match for $10,000 this week.
Jason Nash
Yes.
David
I won very, very nice.
Jason Nash
Against a girl, right?
David
Well, it was doubles. There was double doubles. Yeah.
Jason Nash
Who was your partner?
David
One of the guy's family. I played against a brother, and his brother was on my team.
Jason Nash
Okay.
David
So. Yeah, so it's pretty good. We won 10 grand. John did a side bet, one $2,500, which was big. That's.
Jason Nash
Whoa.
David
That's. That's. That's about 20% of John's bank account.
Jason Nash
What?
David
Yeah. So John bet a lot of money. Shows John won $2,500, which is really, really good.
Jason Nash
He bet $2,500 on you?
David
Yeah.
Jason Nash
Wow.
David
Crazy. And walked away with cash. He was so fucking stoked. Anyway, so. So yeah, what were you talking about? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I just think, like, I was thinking about like Arak coming here and I was like, how did he get here today with his like three friends? Like, what was the plan? Did he, did he make it last night or did he make it this morning?
Natalie
And then I thought about it. I was like, the coolest part is he was probably getting lunch and then he's like, I'm in David's neck of the woods. Let me just go up and see what they're doing. And I think that's cool.
Jason Nash
The drop in is cool, I think. Yeah.
Natalie
I think like being able to have a house where people are like, I'm gonna swing by. Cause I have two hours to kill is like a very big compliment. And I like. And I. And I'm very proud of that. I have a lot of pride in people being able to drop in. So.
David
Yeah.
Natalie
So shout out to that guy who didn't know what was going on.
Jason Nash
I was angry at the crowd as Lizzo was performing.
David
Why?
Jason Nash
I just thought she was just giving it her all.
Natalie
Oh, Lizzo and Sexyy Red were some of the best performances.
Jason Nash
I know, they were so some of the best. And I thought the crowd was like. I just looked around and people just like got their phones and they're like, they're not even like getting hyped. I just thought that was so lame. It didn't used to be like that. Like when I, when you would see somebody of Lizzo's stature, like in my day, you'd be so pumped. You'd be like, what the fuck? This is insane. But everybody's so desensitized by like, everybody's so fucking cool.
Natalie
No, I don't even think it was that. I think a lot of people were like, it was like a, an event that people were like working at. Do you. I mean, like, people were like capturing.
Naveen
Yeah.
Natalie
Like, I don't think, I don't think people came to this one. Yeah, like they would come to like my birthday or Halloween where they're like, I'm going to get shit faced and like, I'm going to leave.
Naveen
Yeah, this was like a brand. This wasn't like a David's house party. This was like a brand event that just happened to be a David that
Natalie
happened to have a big performance like Lizzo and Sexy, right?
Jason Nash
Yeah, I just did I thought. I thought the crowd was lame.
Natalie
Really?
David
Yeah.
Jason Nash
I thought Lizzo and Sexy Red were so fucking good.
Natalie
So good.
Jason Nash
I was like, wow. I was like, this is something.
Natalie
No.
David
Right.
Natalie
When Lizzo walked in, like, I asked to do an intro with her for my vlog, and then I asked to do it for, like, vertically. She was really, really, really nice about it.
Jason Nash
And then I.
Natalie
She came. She went to my room. I used my room as a green room.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
Which is really funny. Cause it's like.
David
Yeah.
Jason Nash
I heard Sexyy Red had Ilia's room.
Natalie
Sexy. Yeah, Sexy Red came late, so she didn't even go to the green room.
David
She went straight to stage.
Natalie
And then after she hung out for,
Naveen
like, an hour downstairs taking photos and everything.
Jason Nash
Yeah, she was taking with everybody.
Natalie
She was really, really nice.
Jason Nash
Very nice.
Natalie
Yeah. And, like, she was like. She was holding the knives from, like, a scary movie. Just, like, the plastic knives. She was like, stab me in the titty. I'm gonna stab you in the dick for pictures and stuff. She's really, really funny. And so is Lizzo. Like, just such a great personality. I was talking to her.
David
I talked to her about the roast
Natalie
for a little bit.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
And how much she actually ended up enjoying it, which is really cool. She just did the roast. And, yeah, it's really funny because, like, I gave my room to be the green room. Yeah. That's always, like, so bizarre. Cause, like, it is still my room.
David
Sure.
Natalie
But, like, Lizzo's security is now outside of it.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
So now, like, to enter it. I'm asking her security if I can pop in, which is really funny, but it kind of adds to, like, the funness of what's going on.

David
I promised people I'd read some of the comments from the last Views podcast regarding Natalie. Right? Oh, because we were trying to get her some. First of all, the last PO title was insane Jay
Naveen
to me.
David
Masturbating at work. What the fuck were you guys thinking?
Naveen
I can't believe you would do that.
Jason Nash
I can read the text between me and Natalie.
Naveen
Well, we both were like, this is kind of crazy.
Jason Nash
But no, she. I sent the titles. Nat picked Masturbating at work. I said, that's a little much.
David
Yeah, that's insane. I would say.
Jason Nash
Well, tell me to change it. You want to change it or change it right now?
David
No, I mean now it's too late, but.
Natalie
Okay.
Jason Nash
Not too late. Okay.
Naveen
I also knew that it was kind of crazy, but.
David
All right, let me read you some comments. I'm. I'm going to read all of them in a row. I'm gonna read eight in a row. Okay. That way I'm not biased if there's.
Jason Nash
Buckle in.
Natalie
Okay.
David
Ready?
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
Jason, you bring so much value into this podcast. Don't say that about yourself. I don't know what you said.
Jason Nash
I don't know what I said, but. Oh, I know what I said.
David
What did you say?
Jason Nash
I. I commented that people. People missed me on the podcast because I wasn't on the episode.
David
Oh. And that you liked it without. But yeah. Okay. Sorry, guys. Oh, this is coming from you. Yeah. You put the podcast behind a paywall for a little.
Jason Nash
So we have a new server trying
Natalie
to make some money.
Jason Nash
We haven't. No, we notice. No, no, we have a new server.
David
Okay.
Jason Nash
And obviously it was free on Apple, Was free on all the platforms but the Spotify server.
David
Oh, you, like, uploaded wrong.
Jason Nash
No, I didn't upload it wrong. It just like.
David
So how long was it behind a paywall for 10 minutes. Did you make money?
Jason Nash
I made $72.
David
All the comments hating Natalie sound like
Natalie
they're from 16 Year Old Boys.
David
She obviously works hard and brings a lot to the pot. People hate a confident woman.
Jason Nash
Let's go.
Naveen
Amen, brother.
Jason Nash
I'm down with that.
David
The comment right under it is from the author saying, I'm just kidding. That was a joke.
Jason Nash
I'm just getting puckered.
David
I don't know why I feel like this About David, but he gives bde. It's very obvious that he is the
Natalie
biggest dick in the room and the
David
biggest dick out of all his friends.
Jason Nash
Oh, wow.
Naveen
Are you just making shit up?
David
Okay, I made that one up.
Jason Nash
Oh, you made it up.
Naveen
This isn't fun if you're making it up.
David
That's the only. I'm done making things up.
Natalie
The next ones are real.
David
Okay, okay. But I only made up one that was okay.
Natalie
Okay, Basic psychology.
David
Jason is self deprecating, therefore people feel
Natalie
the need to comment positive things to bring him up.
David
Natalie is confident, therefore people feel they
Natalie
need to comment negative things to bring
David
her back down to earth. All three together is when the podcast is gold.
Natalie
That's pretty good. Natalie actually works hard button. That's pretty good.
David
I don't get it. Stop the Natalie hate like you like put likes. Here's a negative one about me. No offense.
Natalie
Dave is probably one of the hardest people to work for.
David
Not saying he doesn't pay well. Taylor deserves more than John.
Natalie
Natalie can seem like a bobblehead influencer, but she's super smart and running a multimillion dollar company. Guys, that shit isn't a joke. Give her some respect. But also, Natalie, use your voice for good and help our community. We all need help and can get and can give help. I've been unemployed for almost a year and still pay Spotify to listen to the pod make it worth it. That's really funny that you una money. There's definitely times when Natalie drives me nuts.
David
Last pod was not one of them.
Natalie
The pod she talked about being the next Bachelorette.
David
I found her entirely insufferable,
Natalie
but she's been.
Naveen
You guys just want to find a
David
husband enjoyable lately, in my opinion.
Natalie
David, I 100% agree with you about disclosure day.
David
No glaze.
Natalie
That's good. I won't even read the rest.
David
That person is my side anyway.
Natalie
Yeah. Okay, so that's really fun.
Naveen
So no sentiment shift. Everybody is still on.
David
There's a little bit of sentiment shift, but it was pretty vibey.
Natalie
I was talking to someone.
David
Okay, so let me tell you this. Did you hear about this? DreamWorks was making Shrek. Did you hear this? It's really interesting. They were also making Prince of Egypt. Have you seen Prince of Egypt? Well, at the time, they. They valued Prince of Egypt as a higher thing. So DreamWorks would send people to work on Shrek as a form of punishment. And it was like a thing around the office and people started referring to it as you got Shrek is when you got demoted From Prince of Egypt onto the movie Prince of Egypt. I don't know. But I mean, isn't that kind of like the whole point is. Right. What is Prince of Egypt? What was that compared to Shrek? Well, and yeah, people thought it was like a made up thing, but no,
Natalie
it was, it was a real thing.
Jason Nash
When you said people to work on Ilya's vlogs.
David
Yeah.
Jason Nash
Is that a demotation around here?
David
They pretty much the status of Shrek was the ugly stepchild at Dreamworks. Like, that's how people looked at it.
Jason Nash
And Shrek took off and you know, wasn't Farley was supposed to be Shrek.
David
Chris Farley.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
Who plays it now?
Jason Nash
Mike Myers.
David
Oh, Mike Myers.
Natalie
Yeah.
Jason Nash
I mean, Shrek wasn't gonna have like a. And a Scottish accent either.
David
Really? Yeah. What an incredible.
Jason Nash
Died.
David
Oh. What?
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
He died that long ago? I thought he died like, like in the last like eight years.
Jason Nash
No, no, he did.
Natalie
Oh, I didn't know that.
David
Yeah, yeah. To be the voice of an animated character has got to be like the most incredible fucking job in the world.
Jason Nash
I have a cartoon coming out.
Natalie
Really?
David
Yeah.
Jason Nash
Naveen and I made a cartoon. We saw it the other day. It's for kids. It's for like little, little kids. It's called Nash Quest.
David
Why not Nash Quest? Yeah. Why don't you start a kids channel?
Jason Nash
It is. This is a kid. It's a kids cartoon. It's literally for like six year olds.
David
But this is something you post on YouTube.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
Oh, that's really fun.
Jason Nash
They made one and then we have to record the second one.
David
Wow.
Jason Nash
That was the one I'm supposed to have your mom in as a voice. I haven't seen her. So I can try to get her in her episode two.
David
Yeah, that'd be really sick.
Jason Nash
Can she do a falcon?
David
Yeah, one. Yeah, she can do falcon. She's so good at it. She's Slovak. What was I gonna say? There was. So this is one guy who used to like, who used to make videos
Natalie
with like Brett Rivera and his crew.
David
His name's Ben Asilart.
Jason Nash
Oh, you always talk about him.
David
I love bringing him up. I just find it so interesting just
Jason Nash
how successful he is.
David
Yeah, he like. Yeah, yeah.
Jason Nash
We were talking about him on the boat with Pearson.
Natalie
I find it interesting when like. Anyway, long story short, he used to
David
make content with Brent who's like, maybe. Maybe the content is like for kids, like.
Naveen
Sure.
David
Ages of 12 to 16.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
Or even younger.
Naveen
No.
David
8 to 16. 8 to 14.
Naveen
Sure.
David
And like, then Ben Switched it up and made it for even younger. Like, I'm talking like 5 to 12 now. Maybe, like, really young. And now he absolutely crushes, like, it's like 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 million views a video consistently. Consistently. And I just find that so interesting that, like. Like, at one point he was just like, yeah, let's switch it up. And then it worked. Like, I don't know why I find that so bizarre.
Jason Nash
It kind of makes sense. Have you ever been around, like, a six or seven year old?
Natalie
What do you mean?
Jason Nash
Well, just the, like the pattern of the way kids watch things. Like Naveen's little sister, she's six and she's on YouTube all day.
David
Yeah, no, no, I understand that kids watch YouTube.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
I just, like, I don't understand, like, how do you. How do you tap into, like, a child's brain like that? Like, I just find that very impressive.
Naveen
Well, I think that he was already, like, close. Close. Yeah. I don't think the content's that much different than.
David
Yeah, but, like, did he have a meeting and was like, okay, we need a little bit more color and we need to be a little bit more bubbly. Like, how did he make that final tweak? Because it does feel like it happened. It doesn't from my standpoint, I guess I never, like, watch his videos consistently. But, like, it never looked like it. Like he just, like, made a decision.
Jason Nash
Everything gradual.
David
It didn't look gradual to me. It feels like maybe it was gradual,
Natalie
but it feels like it was almost like time to switch it up and
David
then it just happened. Which. Okay, okay.
Jason Nash
I'm sure it was gradual. Really. I'm sure you did one thing and he was like, yo, this did three times better.
Naveen
Yeah.
Jason Nash
Than anything I've ever done. Let's go in this direction.
Naveen
Yeah.
Jason Nash
Isn't that how everything happens?
Natalie
Yeah, I guess.
Jason Nash
Isn't that. Didn't that happen for you that way? Didn't you do something and you were like, hey, wait a minute. People really like Corinne's tits, you know?
Natalie
No, I don't think that ever happened.
Jason Nash
No.
Natalie
Like, I mean, think about it. Making the vlogs. Was there ever a mo, like, other than like, getting a celebrity in the thumbnail, Right?
David
What was.
Natalie
There was never a thumbnail.
Jason Nash
Yeah, I guess you're. Yeah, I guess now I understand why you don't understand Ben as like, because you don't work like that.
Natalie
No, because we've never. We've never like, tweaked an algorithm. No, we've never, like, we've never played the algorithm game. Like, we have a friend who, like,
David
who works for, like, new age YouTubers. Like, I'm talking, like, beast erak. Like, the guys that, like, are very tapped into the algorithm. Right.
Naveen
Very data driven.
David
Very data driven, yeah. And he was like. He was trying to help me with thumbnails, and he's like, how to like, blah, blah, blah. And then he's like, I created a program, like a software to analyze all you hear past thumbnails and stuff. Like an AI driven. So it's fucking insanity. I can't even repeat the words because I don't even know what he's saying. And he's like, I've realized what it is. It's like, your thumbnails don't work. Like, other people's thumbnails. Like, yours are all parasocial. Like, all the ones that would ever work for you were like, I can't believe Natalie did this, or, I can't believe that happened, which would not ever work in today's world ever.
Jason Nash
Right.
David
Thumbnails just don't operate that way. And that's not what YouTube is anymore, but. Right. It is funny.
Jason Nash
That's really interesting.
David
I mean, yeah. The way we made videos, it was just. Our thumbnails were dog shit, right? They were dog shit.
Natalie
And we were just like, at the.
David
It was just the pocket of what YouTube was at the time. Right, Right.
Jason Nash
And now you do now. How do you fix it now?
David
I have no fucking clue. I have no fucking clue. I think, like. I think what works on YouTube now is more like, like, one idea. Like, conquer. I don't think, like, vlogs are necessary. Like, I think, like, people like to click on a video and have the video be the whole thing about that.
Ryan Reynolds
Right.
David
I think the vlog thumbnails are a little bit confusing because you click on the video, you have a thumbnail of something that happens four minutes in, and it happens for 10 seconds. It's a little different than like. Like when Eric's like, I'm hiding in Disney World. And, like, the whole premise is like, where. Where is he in Disney World? Will he survive this whole thing? And I feel like that's like. That's like, what the videos are that do well now. Like, one concept. I don't know. I kind of want to do that.
Jason Nash
I liked your video the other day.
David
I really like the Golfing Sunday.
Jason Nash
The golfing segment was great. The putt was great.
David
Yeah, I kind of want to do that. I kind of want to do that more. Like, have, like, one thing that, like, takes us through the whole video and it's just like, like my favorite segment that I think we've done in the last year was Drinking at Disney World, right? I think that is like, I think that's a very rare idea because I don't think there's like drinking is such a douchey thing to do and Disney World is such a wholesome thing to do that it was like the perfect combination of like not overdoing something that's like as like weird as drinking is or whatever. So I think it balanced it right and it was like really fun. So I think there's a lot of ideas like that, but I'd love to do that again. If someone has a recommendation for where to go drinking or something like Disney drinking around the world, you let me know.

David
I'm so happy to be single.
Jason Nash
You love being single?
Natalie
Yeah.
Jason Nash
Really?
David
Yeah. I'm like too young to be in a relationship you think you're too immature?
Naveen
Yeah, I think it's code word for I'm too immature.
David
No, I just, like, I'd be so bored. I, like, thought about it yesterday, and I was like, okay, I would love to cuddle with my girlfriend right now. Because I was thinking about that.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
And then I played it through. I was like, okay, we cuddle. Yeah. Then we hook up. Then we watch a movie. And now we've been alone for eight hours.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
We do it again. We wake up tomorrow, cuddle again, order food, and then I'm fucking. That's it. That's it. I'm done with it.
Jason Nash
Yeah, you're good for three.
David
And I'm good. I'm good for three days.
Jason Nash
I was gonna say. Yeah.
David
Yeah, I'm good for three days. And now I want to hang out with my friends, maybe even go out, because I've just been stuck with her for this long. Do you know what I mean? Like, I'm so not ready for a relationship. It's actually kind of crazy when I think about it.
Jason Nash
Right?
David
It's like, I just want. I. I honestly just talk about it because it's, like, a fun thing to talk about. And I remember when I was in
Natalie
a relationship, I was always like.
David
I was always. The one part I was jealous of is like, I love that people get to bitch about not being in a relationship.
Natalie
I was like, it's kind of fun.
David
Like, I was always like. I was like, I want to bitch about not having a girlfriend, but I do. I already have one, so I guess I can't bitch. And then I got to bitch about it. And now, after years and years of bitching about not having a girlfriend, I'm realizing that I'm only bitching about it for the sport of it. I don't actually.
Jason Nash
What about you, Natalie? You really want somebody?
David
I think Natalie needs somebody.
Naveen
I do. But I'm also not insecure. And I'm much more stable in relationships than David is. Like, I can maintain better balance, I feel, than he can.
Jason Nash
If Dave got a girlfriend, it'd be lights out kind of a light.
Natalie
What kind of a fucking.
Jason Nash
No more pickleball for Eric. Jay Shetty would have to find a different place to play.
David
Yes, yes, yes, yes. The house would be.
Jason Nash
The house would be closed up.
David
It has to be closed down. Really?
Jason Nash
That's who's benefiting right now? Arak Jay Shetty and Josh Richards.
Natalie
They're the ones. Yeah.
Jason Nash
Because when Dave's girlfriend stops all pickleball here.
Natalie
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Her. I'M already tired of her, Jay. Thank God. Thank God.
Jason Nash
Yeah. She was a real.
David
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Natalie
She's gonna be a real.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
No, no, no.
Jason Nash
She didn't get John. She didn't understand how funny John Castro is. She'd just be like, he's not funny. I don't get it.
David
Oh, my God.
Natalie
You know what's interesting?
David
I hung out with these, like, really, like, top level Nepo kids the other day. Like, the most Nepo kids. Nepo kids could possibly get. Okay, okay. And I was texting one of the kids.
Natalie
This is so interesting.
David
I was texting one of the kids. We were going to their house, and I was texting them the name.
Naveen
These children are how old?
Natalie
No, no, no.
David
Sorry. When I refer to kids, I mean, they're still young. They're like 22. And we're going to play pickle. But I was texting them so I have the gate so the security can let us through their gate.
Jason Nash
Right.
David
Big house. And I texted John's name. I was like, the name's John Castro. And she texted back. And she goes, lol Castro is a crazy last name. Filipino version of Fidel you're bringing with you. Shaking my head. And it's so funny. That is like, such a Nepo baby way of looking at that last name.
Jason Nash
Fidel Castro.
David
Yeah, because, like, Castro is so common.
Naveen
No, we all. When we all first met John in, like, third, fourth grade, we all. That was like, the first thing we all said about him. We're like, are you related to Fidel Cast? Yes.
David
Yes.
Naveen
You weren't there, brother. You can't say no. You weren't in his own room class. I was. I sat across from him.
Hertz Advertiser
I was respectful.
Jason Nash
David not reaching back as far as he thinks.
David
He.
Jason Nash
Shut up, Jay. With his school days.
Naveen
You weren't even there.
David
Shut up, Jay.
Jason Nash
Wait a minute, Dave. Have you been fucking kind of fronting this whole time? Were you not there originally? Were you not the original four? Were you not the original four with Alex, John and Natalie?
David
Shut up, J. No, no, I stand by what I'm saying.
Jason Nash
They was on that plane from Slovakia.
David
I think Castro is a very common name.
Naveen
It is common, but, like, yes, obviously,
David
we made Fidel Castro, but why is
Jason Nash
that a Nepo thing to say?
David
It's because you go back to the highest level of that lineage. Right?
Naveen
Like, you go, what is your immediate association?
David
You go, what's your family's name? Castro. Right. Like, if I heard a Spielberg.
Jason Nash
Oh, it's like a Nepo way of thinking.
David
Yeah. Like If I'm in LA and I hear Spielberg, I'm like, obviously related to Steven.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
Like, and that's just how I think. And, and I think that's exactly where the brain goes. Especially when I'm meeting anybody in LA at one of these parties and I hear a last name and it's like Aniston. I mean, that's a bad one because she doesn't have kids. I'm like, oh, you're related to Jen Aniston? That's like a no brainer. That's like where your brain goes immediately when you're out and about in la.
Jason Nash
So he thought you were bringing some Cuban royalty?
David
No, but I think. No, but I think that's where the brain went immediately. And it's like, it's like, obviously it's not him, he's a Filipino guy. But I think, like, if I grew up here in la, that is where my brain goes. Right? Like, the second I hear Brando, I'm like, oh, that's Marlon Brando's niece and nephew. And that's. And that's not even a stretch. That's without a doubt. If this kid is in my school and their last name is a celebrity's last name, they are that celebrity's offspring. Like, that's not a stretch.
Natalie
Correct?
Jason Nash
I don't know what we're talking about. What's not a stretch?
David
Where do you. Where do you think? What have I been saying? Repeat something that I've been saying.
Jason Nash
I don't know the point. The point. I got your point, but it's like I get. I don't even really know what we're talking about. Do you? Well, wait, Like, I kind of get it.
Naveen
Wait. Yeah.
Jason Nash
Oh, yeah, Yeah, I get it. Nepo babies talk about lineage. Is that the point?
Naveen
No.
David
Are you. Are you.
Naveen
Where the.
Mint Mobile Advertiser
Were you.
Jason Nash
Are you in a.
David
If someone let him explain because I'm so curious.
Naveen
He has no idea what's happening.
Natalie
Jesus Christ.
Jason Nash
I've been waiting to tell you the whole podcast.
Naveen
If someone in Charlie's class ball cancer, their last name is Cruz. Who do you think is their fucking father?
Jason Nash
Terry Crews.
Naveen
Oh my God, is he fucking with us?
David
Well, who's Terry Crews?
Naveen
Well, we.
Jason Nash
Terry Crews from agt.
Naveen
You know Terry Crews?
David
I don't know Terry Crews.
Jason Nash
Buff black guy Terry Crews. Really? Like funny, smiley buff black guy, bald Cruise with crw.
Naveen
Isn't he the white chicks guy?
Jason Nash
Yeah, White chicks guy.
Naveen
Yeah, yeah.
David
Cruz.
Naveen
I was thinking Tom Cruise. Ted Cruz.
David
Why are you saying Tom Cruise?
Jason Nash
Oh, Tom Cruise, man.
David
Now Jason, you.
Jason Nash
Well, I know Tom Cruise doesn't have any kids. Yeah, right. He does have one.
David
Okay, well, proves my point. It's la. So that's kind of like your brain just goes immediately to that.
Jason Nash
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I get it.
David
All right.
Jason Nash
I mean, I think I got it the whole time. It was just such a dumb point that I was. I was so dumb. What was coming at me? I was like. Right?
David
You're like, yeah.
Jason Nash
And I should have said that. I should have said you're dumb.
David
You said that's a problem. Yeah, but, like, that's not, like, a regular way of thinking.
Jason Nash
Hey, I have a topic.
David
Fuck you.
Naveen
Oh, my God.
Jason Nash
So we went. We went out for Naveen's birthday on Sunday.
David
I'm gonna. I'm.
Natalie
I'm gonna.
David
I'm gonna Jason Nash this topic.
Naveen
Okay, Go.
Jason Nash
No, come on. Don't, don't. I haven't said anything the whole podcast. Okay, well, you'll like this topic. This is very. Dave, this is good. And you're gonna be able to weigh in with your opinion.
David
Okay.
Jason Nash
Which people love. And I know you're gonna be really.
Natalie
Sammy.
David
You won me over, Jay.
Naveen
Okay, fine.
Jason Nash
You're gonna love this topic. It has to do with breasts.
David
Oh, yeah.
Jason Nash
Okay, so we go out for Naveen's birthday. We go to a hotel in la.
Naveen
Yeah.
Jason Nash
And great time. We're having fun. We got a hotel pool. We got a daybed. I'm so excited. I go to get the girl's drinks, and I come back, Naveen comes running into inside. She's like, I have to talk to you. She's like, oh, my God. Oh, my God. I'm like, what?
David
What?
Jason Nash
What happened? What happened? She's like, this lady took her top off at the pool. And I'm like. In my mind, I'm like, yeah, so what? And the girls were so affronted by this that a woman would take her top off. So I throw it to you guys. What's your stance on topless at a pool?
Naveen
At a hotel pool? Yeah, I don't think that's.
Natalie
I don't think that's allowed. What are you talking about?
David
Really?
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
You can't at a pool.
Jason Nash
I've seen it for years.
Natalie
Was it a Marriott?
Naveen
Yeah.
Jason Nash
No, it was like a chic hotel.
Natalie
No, no, you can't do that.
Jason Nash
What are you talking about?
Naveen
Was it a Marriott? You can take it out of the house.
Jason Nash
If she can't do that. The hotel pool is really small. If she can't do that, they would have told her to put it back on. But then they were asking me. They're like, you should say something. I'm like, and it was her birthday, so of course I was like, okay, I'll say something. Even though I didn't want to.
Naveen
You went and said something.
Jason Nash
Listen.
Natalie
You went and said something.
Jason Nash
I would.
Natalie
That's almost worse than whipping out your tits.
Jason Nash
I would.
Natalie
Oh, you would have.
Jason Nash
Even though I don't care. But. But for my wife on her birthday, I'd be like, all right, I'll say something.
Natalie
Where is it?
David
Like, a woman that was.
Naveen
Was she laying on her bed with her tits out, or was she walking around?
Natalie
Was she doing it on purpose to be like, look how beautiful these are, or was she just literally doing it
David
to free the nip? What was the intention behind taking those titties out?
Jason Nash
She wasn't tanning that. She was just kind of sitting up and she was just. And that was it. That's a great question, Dave. Like, what is the intention? I don't know. I kept asking that, like, is she. Would she want attention or is she just, like, freeing the nip? Right.
Natalie
I don't think she wanted attention.
Jason Nash
No.
Natalie
I think that's like, a real.
David
That's like, a crazy way to want to.
Naveen
Yeah, maybe she was, like, European from out of town, and this is just the norm for her, and she didn't
Jason Nash
know she was not European.
Natalie
What did the boobs look like?
Jason Nash
That's a good point, though. The boobs. I don't look at other women's tits.
Naveen
You didn't know they were there.
David
That was a new idea.
Naveen
Was she younger?
Jason Nash
Older compared to Natalie's?
Natalie
Yeah.
Naveen
Were they big? Were they like a cup or, like, double D?
Natalie
Were they massive like Natalie's?
Jason Nash
They were. They were like, you know, they were just. Whatever.
Natalie
Okay, so you saw him.
Jason Nash
I did see him at one point.
Natalie
And you have a wife.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
Natalie
And you were looking over there the whole time.
Jason Nash
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Natalie
And you didn't want to say anything because then you would not be able to see him anymore.
Jason Nash
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Natalie
Maybe. Maybe we should just let her. We should just let her be.
Jason Nash
Yes. And you sound like a pervert if you take the other side. She's fine. Right. What's the big deal?
Natalie
I guess. But, like, I don't know.
David
That would kind of ruin my pool
Natalie
experience, too, because then I would feel like I can't, like, look anywhere.
Naveen
Really. Yeah.
David
I'm not working in the direction of boobs. Are you nuts?
Jason Nash
The girls were making tiktoks.
Natalie
Oh, yeah. That's crazy.
Jason Nash
And then she took her top off, and then suddenly it's like, okay, well.
David
Oh, that's probably why she did it.
Jason Nash
No more video.
Natalie
Wait, that's why she did it.
Jason Nash
Maybe she was fighting that.
Natalie
Yeah, a hundred percent that's why she did it. Was she in the back of tiktoks?
Jason Nash
She was right next to us. Oh, yeah.
David
I'm taking on my tits, too.
Natalie
To have people.
David
Yes. No, that makes sense.
Naveen
That is a crazy method of defense.
Natalie
That's checkmate crazy. That's pretty standard.
Naveen
Take your tits out so someone stops making a tik tok video.
David
Yeah, that's like. Literally, that is like where my brain would if I was a woman. That is where my brain goes. Immediately I'm like, how do I make a very strong point here without saying a word? I'm going to take my top off the camp post this video.
Natalie
Yeah. Yeah, you should try.
Jason Nash
You should take your out next time someone starts filming you.
Naveen
Yeah, I'm just.
David
Every time Natalie tries to put me in one of her dumb fashion tik
Jason Nash
toks, Take your cock out.
Naveen
Fashion tic dynamics.
Jason Nash
I whip my dick out these fashion tiktoks.
Naveen
I'm sure you guys haven't been fed on TikTok because David's dick is out in all my tiktoks.
Natalie
Yeah.
Jason Nash
How do you get Dave into your fashion Nelly?
David
It's 100 drafts. It's just my penis never.
Jason Nash
What?
Natalie
What?
Naveen
David will never be in any of my tiktoks.
Jason Nash
What do you mean to him?
Naveen
With some of the funniest ideas that would go viral. And he always says, no way.
Jason Nash
Roll.
David
I just don't get it.
Naveen
It's fun.
David
I don't get it.
Jason Nash
Yeah, you. Yeah. Well, what's up?
Naveen
What do you mean? You. You. I give you ideas, too. And I'm like, this would be funny. We should do this. And he's like, no, I would never.
Jason Nash
I don't know why eyeballs on you means more money for you.
Naveen
Like, we used. We used to post tik toks like that all the time.
David
Yeah, we were 22 years old, dude.
Naveen
No, we weren't. First of all, your perception of age, brother. You keep saying you were 22. You were like, 27. You're.
David
We were 27, sweetheart. That was literally a sweetheart.
Naveen
You're old.
David
No, I'm. I'm 30 now.
Naveen
Oh, my God. Guys, he's pushing.
David
Really?
Jason Nash
You're 30 now?
Natalie
Yeah.
David
Wow.
Naveen
How does it feel?
David
27. When we were making TikToks during 25.
Naveen
25.
David
I was a little.
Jason Nash
Wait, you were not 22. What am I saying?
David
I'm 29.
Jason Nash
Yeah, you're 29.
David
No, Natalie, no, I just. Listen, I say this a lot. My good friend Chris Martin once said, what's the point of making all that noise? What is the point?
Natalie
And I was like, that's a really
Naveen
good point because I think it's cute and fun. It just like.
David
It's not cute and fun though. It's like, who cares?
Jason Nash
What do you say when you want David in one of your TikToks?
Naveen
I'm like, Dave, will you do this with me?
Jason Nash
Will you do this with me?
Natalie
I don't know.
Naveen
I mean, I don't even ask him anymore.
Jason Nash
Yeah, I don't.
David
If it's like a really good idea, I'm down. But like, Natalie's ideas are like.
Naveen
They're just silly, goofy, like girly things. Like, it's not something complicated.
David
It's like, yeah, like, I would do them if it was, you know, if it was Covid again and like, and you were bored and that's all we had to do. And like, that we were just like. That's how we were sustaining doing. Natalie and I used to do fucking synchronized dances during COVID
Naveen
We used to out for hours. There's some TikToks that we spent like hours learning dances.
Natalie
That was so.
Naveen
For the day. That was.
David
Covid was so funny because, like, I was not posting vlogs anymore and it was like, oh, I have to post a TikTok a day to like, maintain like my, like, relevancy in this world. And like, we were posting them every day for a little bit. And then I remember it slowly started slipping away and I was like. Cause I was like running out of things to post. And I was like, okay, every two days, every three days, every four days. And then it gets every week. And then you're like, every month. I think, who cares? It's really interesting. Covid was a really, really, really funny time.
Natalie
Do you remember going.
David
Do you remember when we hung out with Addison Rae one of the first times, and we went to like a diner like 40 minutes outside of LA. Where was it? Like Simi Valley or something?
Naveen
No, I don't remember that.
Natalie
Maybe you weren't there.
David
We went to diner. It was like very far away.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
And paparazzi was outside. And we were like, what?
Naveen
Oh, what?
David
We're so confused.
Natalie
And this is like what she called them, didn't you?
David
When she was like a tick tock. I called them. Yeah, I called them. And it was like when she was a tick tock, I was like, paparazzi in the Valley. Like, this doesn't make any sense. It was so confusing. Wow. It was like one of our first experiences of like a paparazzi and a tick tocker.
Jason Nash
I don't know, was it Hollywood fix?
David
There's like one of those, it was like one of those, like bridging the gap between.
Jason Nash
Yeah, yeah, yeah, listen.
Natalie
I don't know.
David
I've been a fan of tiktokers becoming celebrities since day one. One of my least favorite things that's ever happened is like, I, I, I'm like, I pride myself at being in pretty much in the know of like, what's, who's coming up next and whatever and like what's like exciting and things. And I remember when I was making tiktoks with like these Madison and these people, and I remember I brought them to like a party with like, let's say, like, I'll say. I don't want to say a listers, but like celebrities that were of my age. I remember like three of them were like, why the fuck did you bring tiktokers here? And I looked at them and I was like, because I've known these people for like a while. And I was like, excuse me. Like, that is the most L A thing I've ever heard anybody say. Wow. I was like, these people are like, they're really fun. Like, I'm not just bringing tiktokers because they're like pop popping off. Like, these people are like. I hung out with them for like two weeks and they're like really good vibes. I was like, really confused. Lo and behold.
Jason Nash
Yeah. Two years later, one of them gets nominated for a Grammy.
Natalie
That's all.
David
No, not even that. But that's all they're doing is now they're all hanging out. I wish I could go up to them and hear the shit that they. Yeah, I wish I could go up to either of them, be like, you should hear. Hear the shit they said about you and vice versa.
Jason Nash
Agreed.
David
I think that was, I think that's really whack.
Jason Nash
Isn't that funny about life?
David
That's the most LA thing I've ever experienced.
Natalie
That's very la, which is which. Which doesn't happen. I hate when people. Maybe this does happen in LA, but when people portray LA and TikToks and go like, how many followers do you have? I don't think I've ever heard that. The only person I've heard that question from are adults that have no idea about social media. And like, they're like, so what does that mean? How many followers do you have? Like, I don't think I. Have you ever heard like a kid ask you that?
Naveen
Like just in public?
Jason Nash
Yeah, yeah, I've had a kid ask me that.
Naveen
A child?
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
Oh, a child.
Natalie
Yes. But I'm saying, like, I'm not saying. Sorry, I keep saying kid. I mean like somebody our age.
Naveen
Can you not stop referring to 20 year olds as kids?
Natalie
Yeah, like, have you. Well, we're not. We're not 20, we're 30.
Jason Nash
People used to ask me that all the time.
Natalie
Like when you were at parties, like when you were like, well, not you, Jay, but when we were like 23.
Naveen
You're saying for events and parties, like to get in.
Natalie
So like, did anybody ever come up to you and be like, how many followers you have?
Naveen
No, but like that interaction.
Natalie
That has also never happened to me.
Naveen
Yeah, but there are parties where you have to be like, we have to list your Instagram. Or you have to like, those definitely exist. I just don't think they happen to you because everyone just knew who you were.
Natalie
But I don't think people are listing their. Like, there are parties where you put your Instagram, but I think it's so people can check to see if you're hot. Yeah, but also I don't think people are count. I think it's. That's like that, that I think if people in random cities could do that too. They do. Like, if they do that at like
David
a, A random college party, they'd probably do it.
Naveen
Yeah, it's to see if you're. If you're hot or if you. They also, it's to judge your value if you're. If I'm gonna invite you to this event and I don't know you. Oh, maybe you have a big following.
Jason Nash
Maybe I'm wrong.
David
Maybe I'm wrong. I just feel like I haven't had like the most.
Jason Nash
No, I get your point.
Natalie
Yeah.
Jason Nash
Your point is like when you see that in like a Movie or a TikTok, how many followers do you have?
David
It's very over exaggerated.
Jason Nash
Yeah, it's like it doesn't happen, but
David
I also maybe don't think I've had the right experiences with that.
Natalie
I guess.
David
I don't know, maybe I'm like, pretty biased when it comes to you.
Naveen
I think you're follower privileged.
Jason Nash
I have a set answer for that.
David
What?
Jason Nash
Somebody asked me how many followers I have. I say, I don't talk about that. That's Very gauche.
Naveen
Gauche?
David
Really?
Naveen
What's gauche?
David
That would, like, kill my vibe, though.
Naveen
Yeah. I'd be like, oh, you're uninvited. Get out.
Jason Nash
If someone.
David
No, that's not what I mean. No, I'm saying that would make me feel. Oh, God, he's fucking. He's a dick. Even though the question that that kid asked you is fucked up. It's like, what?
Jason Nash
But. But I don't. But I'll follow that up with.
David
Oh, my least favorite question is. Is when someone goes, are you famous?
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
I'm like, what?
Jason Nash
Yeah. What do you say?
David
You don't say anything. You go, that's a horrible question.
Jason Nash
Yeah, exactly.
David
Yeah. Yeah.
Jason Nash
There's nothing wrong with telling someone.
David
Putting someone down is like saying coach is a very intense one.
Natalie
It's almost like you're.
David
You're even flexing on them that you're a higher intellect. I think it's easier to be like, that's a stupid question. I don't know how to answer that.
Jason Nash
Well, you certainly do know how to answer it.
David
I don't know how to answer it. It's a number.
Jason Nash
How many followers do you have? But I guess famous. Yeah, that one's more esoteric.
David
Fuck you.
Natalie
What's with you in these words?
Jason Nash
Hey, I have a topic. People who are too understanding. I really related to this. People who are too understanding. Yeah. People who are too understanding were once forced to grow up early. Isn't that interesting? Right?
David
That's where I'm at.
Naveen
Like, you make excuses for other people.
Jason Nash
Yeah, like you. Yeah, exactly. So, like, David's being an asshole. I'll be like, hell, it's David, you know?
Naveen
Is it?
David
Hey, you are like that. I actually give you that.
Jason Nash
Yeah, I am like that. Are you like that?
David
Come on.
Jason Nash
You're pretty understanding.
David
I'm like, the most understanding.
Jason Nash
Oh, yeah, okay. I'm sorry. I thought you were gonna go the other way. Oh, I think you're very understanding. I think. I think you and I are alike. Like that. Like, if there's somebody. If someone on trial for murder, you'll always be like, oh, man. And I'll be like, well, you did kill those people.
David
Yes. I'm really bad at that.
Jason Nash
Right.
David
Because I'm just like, everyone's a product of the. Of how they grew up, right? So it's very difficult. Like, how could I possibly judge this man? If I was in shoes. Yeah. How could I possibly do that?
Jason Nash
Yeah. Yeah.
David
I'm not. I'm not saying murder is justified, but I'm Just like saying, like, it's just really, truly impossible.
Jason Nash
And what about Natalie? She understanding She's a bitch?
Naveen
No, I. Pretty.
David
No, Natalie's not understanding.
Naveen
It depends on. It depends on the scenario for sure.
David
Yeah. I don't know. It's. It's very tough. That's why I'm. I am really scared. Like, I'm not one to just blindly defend my friends. Like, I'm very.
Jason Nash
Oh, yeah, believe me, brother, I know as your friend, like, I'm very loyal.
David
I'm very loyal to my friends, and I'll. I'll help to see them see things clearly more than anybody else.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
But, like, a friend comes to me, and they're like, especially Natalie's friends. Oh, my God. The biggest fucking gossips. Like, the second her girlfriends come with tea about another girlfriend, like, I'm just like, first of all, you just came to me first. That's all that's happening here. Like, I'm gonna hear this other side, and that other side may not be correct either, and I will never get to the bottom of this. Therefore, I'm out. Like, I can't possibly understand what. You guys are both. You know what I mean? You're both probably right, and you're both probably wrong, but can we not talk about.
Jason Nash
I hate that about you.
David
I mean, it's true.
Jason Nash
Come to you with problems all the time, and you always take the other person's side.
David
I don't do it on purpose, though. But you do.
Jason Nash
You're. You're like, this. This study.
David
I'm just like, there's a reason. There's a reason that the other person has the other side. It's just like, it's impossible, and everything is always most likely gray. Right.
Jason Nash
But wouldn't it feel good to go if Natalie came to you with something and you go, you know what, Nat? You're absolutely right. Fuck that person.
Natalie
Here's a good. Here's a. Here.
David
I'm.
Naveen
Oh, my God. I would.
Jason Nash
He would never say that.
Naveen
I would die for David to do that. If I came to him with, like, an issue about something or someone, I had to be like, you know what? You have a good point.
Jason Nash
Yes.
Naveen
Yes, that is. That is incorrect. Yeah, you should try that person.
David
Let me compare it to.
Natalie
If you don't feel it.
David
Let me compare it to a movie I just watched. Have I recommended people to watch the Devil's Advocate?
Jason Nash
Not sure, but yes.
David
Okay, so I'm gonna start recommending movies on the Views podcast here. Great. And you guys watch them and let me know what you think? Because I'm so curious. I love recommending movies. Devil's Advocate is my new one.
Naveen
Okay.
David
Okay. So there's a scene. Tiny.
Natalie
Spoiler alert.
David
Tiny. Actually, not really. But skip over this if you want to watch it. Actually, don't. Who cares? He's a lawyer and he's defending this guy who's on trial for murder. And they think he killed three of his. This is not a spoiler. You can keep listening. They think he killed his kids. Yeah. People are taking their headphones on and off.
Naveen
They just fast forwarded.
Jason Nash
Okay, so we can listen again.
David
How do they even hear it?
Jason Nash
Come back in the room, Guys. Dave said it's okay.
David
Okay. So they think that he killed his wife and his kids.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
And this lawyer comes in and he's like, the lawyer that's defending him and he's like, the guy I'm defending is a complete fucking asshole.
Jason Nash
Okay?
David
I hate him. The more I talk about him during this trial, you're going to hate him even more. But does that mean that it's enough to justify making this man guilty of a murder he didn't do? And I think that's a very, very fair point in just, like, life in general. Like, I think, like, two can be right. And, like, there's a. And that's what makes a lot of things gray. This guy. This guy cheated on his wife multiple times, was a bad father, like, over a lot of people. And money, like, with money. But, like, does that necessarily mean that he killed somebody? You know what I mean? Like, I just think there's, like. And that's why I think it's so hard to argue for certain things. Because it's like, yeah, that person could have done that better. Didn't murder him. Still an. I just. I don't know. That's why I think it's, like, really hard to take somebody's side for one thing. Because, like when. When Natalie goes, this person's a bitch.
Jason Nash
Yeah.
David
In my head, I go, yes, this
Naveen
one you are too.
David
This one thing they did wrong. But you also shouldn't have said that. So, like, yeah, there's a two way street here.
Jason Nash
Where do you get into your. Where do you find your girlfriend? You'll be. You'll be. Oh, yeah, you're right. Oh, yeah, she is a bitch. You have to take. That's something I've learned. Like, being married the second time around, it's like, you gotta really. You gotta take her side.
Naveen
You have to be compassionate and understanding.
Natalie
Yeah, all right, whatever, guys.
David
Listen to me.
Jason Nash
But you have airrack and Josh Richards.
David
And Jay Shetty.
Jason Nash
And Jay Shetty, obviously.
David
All right, guys, that's all the time we have for today's pod. Thank you, guys, for listening. Natalie, thanks for joining us.
Natalie
Take a break for the next one, maybe.
Naveen
Mm. Oh, me.
David
Why don't you do a solo podcast, girls? I can't. Can. I'm a Chamberlain. I'm a Chamberlain. And I'm so impressed by how she does it. Blown away. How do you do a fucking solo pod?
Naveen
This basically is a solo pod. It's you talking for 35 out of the 40 minutes.
David
Really?
Naveen
Yeah. It's pretty crazy.
David
Oh, okay. Do you guys think I should shut up more?
Naveen
No. No. Obviously, everybody fucking loves you.
David
That's not true.
Natalie
Why do you say that? Oh, you're.
David
I know what you're playing. You're playing the other side. Just so you get more comments about. Here come the comments. Actually, fuck, David. Now that I've thought about it. All right, bye, guys.
