On today’s Views podcast, Natalie returns after walking out on David at the Jackass premiere and skipping out on their big weekend in the Hamptons. Jason mediates as we get to the root of the problem including what triggered the fight: Natalie missing a key shot where Steve-O put a fish hook in his mouth. (lol) Also, David takes us behind the scenes of planning his 30th birthday party including what major band they are trying to book. And a little bit later David talks about his intense Nerf Gun fight that proved to be too scary to ever do again. Jason
How did you get your website to look like that? Mine's so basic.
Natalie
Thanks. I just used WIX Harmony. What's that? It's wix's AI website builder. You just tell it what you want and it builds you a whole site. But you can also switch back and forth between chatting with AI and editing things yourself. Ah, so you're not stuck with whatever the AI gives you? Nope. I mean, the results are pretty nice, but you can jump in and mess with whatever.
Jason
Oh, that's neat.

drinks are now at McDonald's. Like the Strawberry Watermelon refresher and the Mango Pineapple refresher with popping Boba. Who knew ice cold drinks could be so fire refreshers contain caffeine?
Eric
What's up, guys?
David Dobrik
Welcome back to Views.
Natalie
We are back with another pod. Jason and Natalie are on this episode. It's a fresh one.
David Dobrik
It's a good one.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
Dude.
David Dobrik
How's everybody's weekend?
Eric
Great, man.
Natalie
Dude, this is the first time Natalie and I are reuniting since your fight. How did you know we had a fight?
Eric
You told me on Thursday.
Natalie
Oh, and what did I say?
Eric
You said. Well, you. It was on the podcast.
David Dobrik
Wait, what?
Eric
Yeah, we talked about it Thursday.
Natalie
Was Natalie on the podcast?
Eric
No. Nat wasn't here.
Ad/Announcer
Oh.
Natalie
Cuz we were fighting.
Eric
Yes, that's right.
Natalie
Oh. So how did you enjoy your paid time off?
Brooke
My pain time off? My Saturday and Sunday to myself.
Natalie
Friday too.
Eric
Are you mad at him still?
Brooke
No, I'm not mad. I'm just.
Natalie
First of all, there wasn't even anything
David Dobrik
to be mad about.
Natalie
She just genuinely was just like. She just like left.
Brooke
I just gave up. I just said fuck you and fuck this.
Natalie
Yeah, I don't even.
David Dobrik
I think she was just really tired,
Natalie
but I don't know why she let it.
Brooke
I wasn't tired, brother. And don't.
Natalie
I don't know why she let it spill over until everybody was like, okay, so we went to. We also went to the Hamptons.
Guest/Announcer
Yeah, right.
Natalie
Okay, so let me backtrack a little. We got into a fight at the Paramount premiere.
Brooke
You get to like, curate this.
Natalie
I got this narrow.
Jason
Don't worry.
Natalie
You just sit there. Let me say it exactly how it went down. We went to the Paramount premiere. Obviously, Natalie was being bitchy the whole time.
Brooke
I was like, whatever. Can you not do that? Because people actually think. People take your word for it and I. People literally think that I'm some fucking crazy bitch because of the shit you say about Me. And I'm like. I'm like, so.
Eric
All right, go.
David Dobrik
You. You say it. You say it. You say it.
Brooke
Okay, we go to do. We go to the Paramount Jackass premiere to. To do work. You know, we just flew fucking 14 hours back to do this thing. Obviously everybody's tired, whatever, but we have a job to do. Okay, great. Everybody's on the same page about that. Everyone's happy. We're in our little black tie outfits, whatever. The job ends up taking like six hours or whatever.
Natalie
Yeah.
Brooke
And I am doing my damn best. David has a videographer there, but guess who he hands the camera to? Natalie to film his fucking TikTok.
Natalie
Okay.
John
Phone.
Natalie
Or my videographer is telling birthday is filming the vlog.
Brooke
So I take it. And I have gotten my ass chewed out so many times. Times for me too. Improv. Of course, even if you film it remotely correct, you're going to get destroyed by David because he.
Jason
Nobody.
Brooke
He is God tier, guys. He is God tier. And nobody is like him.
Natalie
I like you. I like you.
Brooke
No, nobody has a vision like him
Natalie
telling the story with the same accuracy I would.
Eric
David's abs are out right now, guys. You can't see it, but they're got an eight pack. And he's drinking a protein shake.
Brooke
Steve O is putting a fish hook through his lip. Okay. We all run into Steve O's room.
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Brooke
In like 30 seconds. The man Dav is shoving a fish hook into his face. And I have to fucking film this thing. And there's like 30 people in there. It's chaos. I'm stressed, but I'm trying to focus and do it. I thought I did a pretty good job. And I knew in the moment he yells at me after the fact for the exact thing that I thought I actually did a decent job on in the moment. I tried to get as close as Steve was face to get the money shot. Right. The hook is about to burst through the fucking lip.
Eric
Yeah.
Brooke
And I'm in there trying to get this fucking shot or whatever. I think that I have fucking nailed this. Okay? Paramount's gonna be happy. David's gonna be happy. We're gonna get out. I'm gonna go to bed. Finally. No, we're walk Paramount lot. He's watching the video. He's like, you. You say that?
David Dobrik
I said.
Natalie
I said, how can you possibly film it like this? Film it like you'd want to see it through your eyes. And she just missed the hook. Missed the whole point. She was five feet away from the hook.
Eric
If somebody wants to be A judge. They can go to your Instagram right now.
Natalie
We zoomed in on the hook.
Eric
You zoomed in. She was too far away.
Natalie
You won't be able to see.
Brooke
I was too far.
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Natalie
If we showed it to you raw, it just looked like I'm playing with
Eric
Steve O's mouth in the, in the shot that. It's raw. Is it you and Steve O or is it a shot of Steve?
David Dobrik
Okay, it's me and Steve.
Natalie
Oh.
Brooke
Because he will. If so in the moment. I'm also thinking about this too, because sometimes he wants both people in the shot. Sometimes. Most times you don't want just the one person. You're like, keep us both in so I don't have to pan. So I'm trying not to pan.
Natalie
I'm like thought about. I've thought about that situation since then.
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Natalie
And yeah, I shouldn't hand off things to film.
David Dobrik
And I.
Natalie
And I left that night. I was like, I, like, I hate it. I have to film everything. I have to like, if there is something exciting going on, I'm always want to be the one filming. And that's just because I'm also just so happen to be editing it. And it's really hard. It's really easy to film when you're editing it because you know where you're cutting as you're filming.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
So like I got this now. Time to move on. And then if, like if you watch someone else. If someone else films for you and then you watch it back, it's like
David Dobrik
they edited it wrong.
Natalie
It's really hard to explain.
Eric
Now that makes sense.
Natalie
So like.
Brooke
Because not the way you wanted it.
Ad/Announcer
Yeah.
Natalie
So like, yeah, I do have to. And I've known that from the vlog. Every time anything happens in the vlog, cameras my hand.
Brooke
But.
Natalie
But I handed it off to Nat.
Brooke
But the thing is with your stuff too is that there's never a plan.
Jason
Right.
Brooke
No one ever knows what the fuck is going on. Everything is God bless you. Captured completely raw, completely organically. Okay.
Ad/Announcer
Yeah.
Brooke
So I have no idea what. I don't know who's doing what when. I'm just trying.
Hannah
Whatever.
David Dobrik
And then we, we. We're leaving Paramount and you know, doing my typical. Like, this isn't filmed. Right.
Natalie
Whatever.
David Dobrik
And then Natalie's like, I'm fuck this, I'm done. And then. And then Scan turns on the camera. He didn't get the beginning part. And it's just me going, good riddance. And it's her walking.
Natalie
It's her walking.
Eric
Oh, really?
Brooke
Through the Gates of Paramount.
David Dobrik
Through the gates of Paramount.
Eric
Storming away. You left Paramount? You didn't ride home?
John
I left.
Hannah
Date.
John
I called.
Brooke
I called.
David Dobrik
She called an Uber. And then I went to go get my car. And then, like, we should go get her. So I looped around to go get her in front of the Paramount gates.
Hannah
Yeah.
Eric
Y.
David Dobrik
And she just ignored us the entire time as she waited for her.
Eric
That's the worst women's Cadillac.
David Dobrik
Yeah. And I looked like. I looked like. Like a jealous boyfriend or something. Because I was like, just get in the car.
Ad/Announcer
Yeah.
Brooke
And security staring at me. They're like, what the fuck is going on?
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Brooke
Are they dating?
David Dobrik
Yeah, just get in the fucking car. It's fine.
Eric
I would. I would pay money if, like, one of our friends is out there. But, like, a once removed friend. Like, I would love for, like, Eric to see that.
David Dobrik
Oh, that's my favorite.
Eric
Like, David. Nat are fighting. Yeah, he would get it right away
David Dobrik
because it's about when Nat and I fight. Like, it's always, like, to Scan. Yeah, Scan Said the funniest thing in the car.
Eric
What'd he say?
David Dobrik
Like, we were. This is the first day we were ever filming together. It's not the funniest thing, but he
Natalie
said something really funny.
David Dobrik
We were filming and I told Natalie to get, like, more laptops than she was originally going to get so we can give away more laptops, whatever. And I was snarky about it or whatever. And she goes, suck my fucking dick. And she slams the door at Best Buy. And Scan goes, holy shit. Has, like, has she ever crashed out like that before? Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. She slams the door. He doesn't say anything. And then we're at Jimmy John's, like, getting a sub before she comes back with the laptops. And then he, like, builds up the courage to ask me, like, has she ever crashed out like that before? And I'm telling you, dead ass, I had no idea what he was talking about. I was like, what do you mean? And then I was like, oh, my God. Just now when she left, I was like, oh, that's, like, absolutely nothing. And then I went in the car and I told John because John also witnessed Natalie leaving. John had the same reaction. I was like, when did she crash out? What happened?
Natalie
Because, like, it was.
David Dobrik
It was nothing. And now Stan is used to it that we fight about every four days. Anyway, this went on longer. Natalie decided to not go to the Hamptons, even though it was her idea to go to the Hamptons.
Brooke
My trip that I planned.
Eric
Why did you not go to the Hamptons when I thought it was working out.
David Dobrik
And then I called her.
Eric
You know, he's a fucking idiot. Oh, you have to call.
Brooke
I honestly, genuinely, I just needed a break. Like, I needed to not look at his fucking face for, like, a couple
David Dobrik
days, which is so. Which is so crazy, because, like, the ham. Okay. And not only the best part about the Hamptons is last sec. I was like, I don't know if I want to go. But then I was like, I really should go and have the best time because Natalie's not going.
Eric
Oh, and rub it in her face. Yes.
Brooke
This motherfucker was posting it up on his. Every amazing thing that he was doing.
David Dobrik
So I called. No Natalie. Boys. Trip Hampton. Yeah. It's really hard to convince him, but I finally got him to go.
Brooke
Oh, my God. When I saw that motherfucker on the plane, I was like, these.
David Dobrik
And then, not only that, but John's friend missed his flight, so he had to book a private jet. So he called us, and he was like. And he was like, private jet to Hamptons?
Natalie
I was like, what?
David Dobrik
Private jetting all the way to New York?
Eric
No way.
David Dobrik
Fuck, yes. Let's do it. So I did. You know, I'm a nice guy. So I called Natalie. Or I texted Natalie, and I was like, hey, private chat. Was that you texting me or your sister?
Brooke
It was me.
David Dobrik
Yeah. I was texting that. I was texting Natalie, and I was like. I was like, hey, there's a private chat if you want to go to the Hamptons. And she goes, it's Bella. Natalie sleeping. And I'm like, just wake her up. I feel like she'd like the private chat. And she's like, I don't think she'd care. But that was Natalie talking. Yeah.
Brooke
Anyway, so then my sister was sitting next to me that. She was like, ooh, that was good.
Natalie
And then we went. Yeah. Then we landed in the Hamptons, and John's friend is, like, uber wealthy, so we stayed at his house. He had a private chef.
Eric
What kind of house? Beach. On the beach.
Natalie
No, just, like, a lot of land. Like, yard as big as you could see, and then, like, tennis court at the end of it.
Eric
Pool. Oh, my God. Where'd you land?
Natalie
So this is what I. This is what may make me never go back to the Hamptons.
Guest/Announcer
Yeah.
Natalie
Is we landed in the Hamptons.
Eric
Yep.
Natalie
Because it's a private jet, so you can. You don't have to land at JFK or Newark or whatever, but the ride in. In the car from the airport to the house was, like 2 hours and 10 minutes.
Eric
With traffic.
Natalie
With traffic.
Eric
Yeah. Because it's just one.
Natalie
Which is insane.
David Dobrik
And if I landed at JFK.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
Which I was originally gonna do, the ride in is 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Guest/Announcer
Yeah.
Natalie
It's like, I don't care what's going on in the Hamptons.
David Dobrik
That's, like, crazy.
Natalie
Yeah, that's crazy.
Eric
Pretty rarefied area, though.
Natalie
Yeah. And then the ride back to JFK was like, two hours. But, yeah, it was. It's very. It's like. It's like driving into Vernon Hills, but
David Dobrik
everyone's trying to get to Vernon Hills.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
And, like, it's one road. It's one road. And it's the busiest fucking road you'll ever be on. It's. You're going to. Yeah. And then all the parties. This was. This was even crazier to me. Like, we'd go to the festival.
Jason
Yeah.
Natalie
And then the after party would be 55 minutes away. And so you'd be in the car for literally an hour.
Eric
55 minutes away, but four miles.
Natalie
Yes. Right. It was wild. So you do that. And then you. And then you'd have to go back another hour the other way.
Eric
One thing about Dave, though, I will say, like, he's a tyrant, but he does make up quicker than anyone I've ever met. But that he doesn't hold a grudge.
Brooke
But for sure. But that's the frustrating part, because he just. Like. He'll just get up and forget about it. But, like, you just really upset me.
Natalie
Well, because I don't actually fight for any reason other than just to, like.
Brooke
Yeah. And that's fucked up.
Natalie
Just. Just for sport. Like, I don't.
Brooke
It's a game.
Natalie
I don't do it because it. Like, it means anything to me. Like, I don't. Like, at the end of the day, you not getting the hook in Steve O's mouth. It's fine. I completely forgot about it once. Once we took four steps. It wasn't away from that conversation, obviously. No, I understand. But I just.
David Dobrik
I. And I was also surprised.
Natalie
I was thinking to myself, actually, this weekend, I was like, why does she do that? Like, why does. I was like, she needs to go to.
Eric
Why do you think she does.
Natalie
She used to go to anger management classes.
Brooke
It's so funny because everybody around me is like, he needs help.
Natalie
Like, you know, I could see that. But, like, you know. You know, too. It's so funny. People in the Hamptons were like, where's that?
Brooke
Oh, my God. The amount of text I got. Where are you? I'm with David.
John
We're.
Brooke
Blah, blah, blah, having the best time. I'm like, God damn it, Shut up.
Natalie
Too. Do what was.
Eric
Well, give me an example of the best time. Like, give me a moment. That was, like, awesome.
David Dobrik
I don't know.
Natalie
It was just, like, everybody was just. It felt like. I don't know. The club was really fun.
Eric
Okay.
Natalie
And, like, our. Our friend basically runs the festival.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
So, like, gave us. Gave us the full tour of the whole festival.
Eric
That's fun.
Natalie
So, like, we went to go see. We said hi to Kygo before his set. Saw the Chainsmoker. We stayed at the. Alex from the Chainsmoker stayed at the same house we did.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
So, like, we were with him before his show.
Eric
Fun.
Natalie
And then after, which is really nice. And then we got to go see, like, everyone that was there. Like, every one of our friends that, like, we've ever seen was all there. And we could, like, easily walk around the festival. Cause our friend was running it. So it's just, like, a really fun experience.
Eric
I'll tell you what's funny is, like, he does. You started the podcast saying that, like, you know, he makes you look bad. And so sometimes when you text me and you're, like, so nice, I swear to God, for, like, years, I've been like, my brain is warped from him. Cause Nat will text and be so sweet, and I'll be like, oh, my
Natalie
God, is it all wrong?
Eric
She's so nice. Like, she's being so nice.
Natalie
And I'm like, no, no, no. Nat's super chill. Like, she's really cool and shit.
Brooke
I just, like, I would love for you to elaborate.
Natalie
Everyone that kept asking me, where's Nat? I was like, oh, we got in a fight. She was wrong. Same old, same old.
Brooke
Everyone texted me, and I was being nice. I was just like, oh, I was really tired. I didn't want to come this weekend. I don't want to involve them in our.
Natalie
Really? Yeah, yeah, no. I told one person. I was like, hey, we were in a fight. And then they were like, so where is Nat? And I was like, no, I actually. That's actually what happened. We just got in a fight, and she's not coming. We're so confused. Like, isn't she the one that wanted to come?
Brooke
Isn't this her trip that she's been planning for weeks?
Natalie
This is her trip that I've been like, I don't know if I should be going to the Hamptons then all of a Sudden, even boycotting made it my big thing.

Eric
What did you do? If you had. You had a whole weekend off, what did you do?
Brooke
I actually had an amazing time. It's funny. I have some thoughts for you, David, after this, but Friday was probably like one of our most productive work days.
Natalie
Who's we?
Brooke
Brooke and I. Oh. And we, like, we were on. We were both working, obviously from home, but like, we were on a zoom for like three and a half hours.
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Brooke
And she was just like, this is the. Probably the most productive meeting, like, we've ever had. And I was like, yeah, it's because David's not sitting here, like, laying on the couch or eating something or watching TikToks at level 80s volume.
Natalie
That is so funny.
Eric
You do have a tendency to you're just very distracted.
Natalie
I mean, it's so bizarre to do that. It's so bizarre.
Brooke
It's so bizarre.
Eric
What's bizarre?
Natalie
That, like, I lay on the couch and I watch TikToks while they're working. It's so weird that I do that. And I can't stop myself because I want to be around people, right? But I know it's the work day and they're busy.
Brooke
It's crazy.
Natalie
So I don't know where. I don't want to, like, watch TikToks alone.
Eric
Why don't you grab John and watch TikToks with.
Natalie
John's working too.
Brooke
John's not working.
Ad/Announcer
I know.
Guest/Announcer
I'm kidding.
Brooke
It is crazy, though. Like, if. If the roles were reversed, I would have such an immense, like, level of guilt. If I was sitting on the couch while everyone around me was, like, working really hard, and I'm just, like, watching TikToks.
Natalie
Well, I work at different times.
Eric
No, that's not the point. I don't work there. They're working from nine to five, and that's their time to work. So you should not disrupt them. Like, let me point this out to you. Let's take somebody like Zach King. Let's take somebody like Eric. Let's take any creator, right? That's like, do you think fucking Zach King walks into his employees and is like, hey, hey, what the are you doing? Oh, yeah, what's for lunch, T? Where's the sandwich? Do you think he just disrupts? You're. You're yourself. No, it's your own business. It's your business.
Natalie
Yeah, but It's a catch 22, right?
Eric
How so?
Natalie
Like, Zach King is where he is because he's that King. Yeah, and I am exactly where I
David Dobrik
am because of exactly how I operated.
Brooke
No, but that.
Eric
That's not true. Everybody.
Natalie
Like, if I was any more business oriented.
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Natalie
I don't think the vlogs would have ever gone made the way they did.
Eric
Yeah, but you're not in that time anymore. You're in a different time now. You're in a more.
Natalie
Oh, yeah, but I just can't pivot. You know, I'm frozen in time.
Eric
Yeah, I know you are, but you should. You can. You can pivot. You can grow up and let Brooke work. Let Nat work.
Natalie
Who am I gonna hang out with during the workday?
Eric
Any number of the fucking 80 pickleball players that are here all day, go out and chat.
Natalie
I want to hang out with Brooke. I want to hang out with Brooke.
Eric
Brooke's pretty great.
Brooke
I don't even think that he needs to pivot that much. I think that he just needs other people to allow other people to, like, have some separation myself and so that other people can grow and flourish for him on his behalf.
Natalie
But it's tough. Cause if you leave, how do I micromanage?
Brooke
You don't manage anything. That's the thing. You think that you are, but you're
Eric
such a contradiction because you don't like any of that stuff.
Natalie
What's the contradiction mean? Like a blessing?
Eric
No, contradiction. Like, you're the first guy to be like, I don't give a fuck about that meeting. I don't care about. I want to have fun. I'm here to have fun.
Natalie
Yeah. Wait, so why am I a contradiction?
Brooke
Because you also want to make money and be successful.
John
Yeah.
Natalie
Yeah. Well, I just want you to lock in there.
Brooke
I know, but it's really hard for me sometimes.
Natalie
No, I understand. Listen, whatever. If you need your space, that was.
Brooke
When I first became manager, one of my essential rules was that I wanted to have one day a week that was a work from home day where I would not be coming to David's house. I would just be sitting at home working.
Hannah
Yeah.
Natalie
But then you probably try that a couple days and you're like, you know what?
Brooke
No, I miss the guy. No, no, I just get distracted.
Eric
I told you she had a great Friday.
Natalie
I'm having a tough. I'm having a tough debate today, which is actually work related.
Eric
What's happening?
Natalie
Well, we have to finish editing the vlog.
Eric
Okay.
Natalie
But also I can go.
Eric
You want to stop?
Natalie
Yeah. But I also have to do this
David Dobrik
podcast with you guys.
Eric
27 minute pod. Sorry, guys. I mean, vlog's important. Vlog drives the pod. So I'm. I'm down.
David Dobrik
No, no, I can wait.
Natalie
No, that's actually not what the debate is. The difficulty is I have both book tickets to Supergirl.
Brooke
Oh, God.
Eric
Oh, my God.
Natalie
At 5:30.
Eric
Brother, do you think Zach King is going to Supergirl at 2pm? No. I love that. No, I met him once and he was like, success. He's like. He's like really together. Dude.
Brooke
He's really together.
Eric
He says he's got.
Natalie
Well, all those dudes are really put together. Like, you're Mr. B. Second Darman's like, Darman.
Eric
Eric.
Natalie
Did I tell you about Eric? I can. Like, I was talking to him.
Eric
No. Did he prank you?
Natalie
Yeah, he was hiding inside my room.
Eric
No, he wasn't.
John
No, no, no.
Brooke
He should have done that.
Natalie
Eric's another big creator. And. And I was talking about can and I was like telling him how much fun can is.
David Dobrik
Yeah. And he's like, teach me.
Natalie
Teach me like how to have fun here.
Eric
Sure.
Natalie
And I was like. And I was like, oh, that's really interesting because I guess we look at can differently. Like he looks at it as meetings and I look at it as like going out with people.
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Natalie
And this. And I couldn't teach him how to have fun because like his strength is he's probably really. I told him. I was like, you would. You're probably doing so much better than me here.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
Because you're good at this. Like the daytime stuff. Like you. You can, you can crush these meetings. Like I said on the last podcast, I was like, Natalie should go to Cannes without me next year.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
So she can lock in. But I like just doing like the nighttime stuff and hanging out with everyone. Like, I feel like that is where I thrive.
Eric
Did you take Eric around with you?
Natalie
No, I only saw him for a little bit and then he. We like. I was like, let's get a beer. And then I think he finished like half of it and he's like, I gotta go home.
David Dobrik
Sounds like cuz he had panels at
Natalie
like 8 in the morning, so I totally get it. No, but like.
Eric
So wait, what are you dealing with? You're. You said you're dealing with.
Natalie
Yeah, I just don't know if I should go finish this vlog.
Brooke
Oh, watch Supergirl.
Natalie
Or watch Supergirl.
Eric
When's the last time he posted?
Natalie
Jason
Really?
Natalie
Yeah.
Eric
That long ago?
Natalie
Yeah.
Eric
Oh, yeah. You better not go to Supergirl.
Natalie
Really?
Eric
Well, it's nice. Like I.
Natalie
It's a James Gunn movie and sometimes when I see a James Gunn movie, I get excited and then I come back and I'm like, let's re edit this.
Eric
But you went and saw Toy Story and there was no vlog that came out of it.
Natalie
Yeah, but I was brainstorming.
Eric
Actually, you said Toy Story made you inspired.
Natalie
Can I just say? Actually, I was editing the vlog yesterday and I pulled the song from Toy Story and it fixed a lot of our problems. Yeah. At the beginning I was like, we need. We need a Toy Story song here.
Eric
In the beginning I said Toy Story.
Natalie
And you did. For the pod.
Eric
Yeah, for the pod.
Natalie
Wait, did you go see with your kids?
Eric
No, I went with Naveen and her little sister.
Natalie
Oh, okay.
David Dobrik
Okay, okay.
Eric
Yeah, yeah. And I know everybody loves sister.
Jason
I do.
Brooke
Yeah, I did know that.
Eric
I'm sorry. I went with my Sister. My sister in law. My six year old sister in law. Charlie's aunt.
Brooke
Charlie's aunt.
Natalie
Okay, wait, so what was the verdict as a Toy Story hater?
Eric
I mean, you.
Natalie
You are.
Eric
It was good. It was good. I was like. I mean, I just. I was just like, it's so manipulative, that movie.
Natalie
It's manipulative?
Eric
Yeah, it's like, oh, we gotta. We gotta play more.
David Dobrik
Don't you see why? Doin Mickey Mouse voice, dude.
Eric
Cause I'm trying to do that Jesse voice.
Natalie
Okay, why. Why is that manipulative?
Eric
It's just. And it's actually, I just feel like it's manipulative. It's just like, it's for. It's like, I get it. It's a great story. It's a good story.
Natalie
Wait, Jay. But it's. But that wasn't really the point of it at all. It was very much like to find balance. It was like, you can do tech and you can also play. Like, it was actually both. It wasn't like annoying down your throat like, go play with your dolls?
Eric
If I was a child, yeah, I would like it. But I'm not a child. So that. I just. I just don't like those. I'm just not into those kind of movies. Although I did fucking die laughing at the Minions preview. Did you happen to see it?
Natalie
The Minions preview?
Eric
Yeah, it's like the giant with the cyclops. Did they give you that preview when
Natalie
you went, we missed the fucking preview.
Brooke
Oh, man.
Eric
Bro, I was howling. It is the funniest. Like, that seemed really funny.
Brooke
I really want to see Minions.
Natalie
I threw a fit because we got to Toy Story and we were. Remember we were pulling up late.
Brooke
Yes.
Natalie
And I was like, if the movie started, we're walking out of this fucking theater.
Brooke
We heard you say, oh, yeah.
Natalie
And then we walked in, movie was started, and I was like, let's go, let's go. And then everyone was like, just shut the fuck up and watch the movie. What? How did the movie open? Did it open with the song you Got a Friend in Me?
Eric
I don't remember. It was like a girl under a tree or something. Oh, I don't know. I'm not sure.
David Dobrik
I don't think it was Jesse's person. Damn it.
Eric
I think it was. It was Rihanna doing you Got a Friend and Me. And it was like, kicked up a little bit. Really?
Ad/Announcer
No.
Natalie
Took all my trigger words. I think it was Iron man singing you got in front of me. Okay, so. Yeah, yeah, no, I haven't seen that.
David Dobrik
I'M not.
Natalie
This is a hot take. I'm not a big minion guy.
Eric
I think it's so funny when they're like.
Natalie
No, I.
Eric
Every time.
Natalie
No, their conversations are really funny. There's this girl on TikTok that does, like. She talks like a minion.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
And it's really good. She'll, like, have, like. She just did a minion running into Trump at the bar. So it's Trump doing. It's got this guy. This guy doing a Trump impersonation, like, trying to hit on this minion. And this means, like, I'm just waiting for my friends or whatever.
Eric
Whatever.
David Dobrik
Yeah, No, I do.
Natalie
I do like that. I just. I think I watched them too late.
Eric
This was so funny. It's like a cyclops.
Brooke
This is supposed to be the best Minions movie of the entire franchise.
Natalie
What do you mean? Who said that?
David Dobrik
The critics, Ray.
Natalie
Really?
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah. It's like a thing. Yeah. Comes out this week.
Natalie
Can you. I just. I can't imagine Steve Carell, like, how did he just, like, stumble on that?
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Natalie
He's got to feel so good.
Brooke
Yeah.
Eric
Well, he was the. The greatest comedic actor at that moment. And then he got franchises and movies. I mean, he is that good.
Natalie
But to get the Minions. I always think it's so crazy when a big actor gets a franchise role in an animated movie. Like Owen Wilson in Cars blows my fucking mind. Like, I never knew that that was him up until, like, two years ago. I was like, oh, yeah, that's the car from cars. Flaming McQueen. And then Owen Wilson is over here doing Wedding Crashers. But the fact that he does both. Come on. What a fucking life. No, I don't know. I don't know why I didn't think that. I didn't know that that was like, that.
Eric
Isn't that about, like, international box office draw?
Natalie
No, I get why people do it. I just. I never.
Eric
Those names get you money.
Ad/Announcer
The only.
Natalie
Only one I ever put together was, like, Eddie Murphy and Donkey.
Eric
Sure.
Natalie
Or like Mike Myers and Shrek. That was like the. But like, the new ones. Like, even Toy Story. Tom Hanks. Is he Tom Hanks? Who's Buzz Lightyear?
Eric
Tom Hanks.
Natalie
Who's Buzz Lightyear?
Eric
Tim Allen.
Natalie
Tim Allen. Tim Allen. Yeah. I don't know.
Eric
Yeah. I noticed a preview for Ice Age, and it was like, all these names from the past that are still in Ice Age. I was like, damn, they must be stoked.
Natalie
That's what I'm saying.
Eric
Like, Queen Latifah, John Leguizamo. I mean, you know.
Natalie
Yeah. These people are just raking it in.
Eric
Yeah, but are they?
Ad/Announcer
Yeah.
Natalie
From those movies, you think? For sure. Jay, if you get 50 cents from Drake and Josh once every two months, could you imagine how much a lead gets from Ice Age? It's gotta be crazy. It's gotta be insane.
Eric
I don't think it's life changing money.
Natalie
How much did you make this year from Drake and Josh, would you say?
Eric
Probably like 400.
David Dobrik
That's fucking insane.
Eric
It's pretty insane. I get a check for like 60 bucks every three months or something.
Ad/Announcer
Every two months.
Natalie
You made 400 from Drake and Josh.
Eric
I made more. I think I make more than Josh.
Natalie
Yes, you do.
Eric
Yeah. Because Josh doesn't have residuals and stuff. He told me that once. No, no, no, I don't want to.
Natalie
Yeah, no, I think that's true.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
Josh doesn't make anything from. From those.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
You were on an episode for about 10 seconds.
Eric
Yep.
Natalie
And they still cut you a check.
Eric
Yeah. And when. And when you were. You were like, when you put Josh in the vlogs, my checks went crazy. The checks went from like $7 a month to like $300 a month. Because people were going and like playing that episode. They were paying. They were paying to see that episode. They would buy it so you would see, like, how much you made from itunes. Download. So people were like downloading that episode to be like, is that really Jason, David's friend in the fucking vlogs? Wow. Isn't that weird?
John
Wow.
Eric
A lot of money from Drake and Josh. That's really glad I showed up that day.
Natalie
That's really an incredible.
Eric
Yeah, it's pretty fun.
Natalie
It's really an incredible feat there that you pulled off.
Eric
Speaking of cartoons, I recorded your mom.
Ad/Announcer
What?
Eric
On Saturday. And right here, I was sitting here with your mom.
Ad/Announcer
She.
Eric
She was so funny.
Natalie
My mom? You got my mom to do voice the cartoon?
Eric
Yeah, she's in episode two, the Croatia episode.
Natalie
Wait, can you put a second of it in here right now?
Eric
Yeah, I'll put a second in right now.
Natalie
Well, I didn't get to hear it, but that sounds.
Eric
And I can play it for you.
Natalie
Really?
Brooke
Yeah.
Natalie
Was she hard to work with?
Eric
No, she was like. She was like. She's like, jason, I can't. I can't do this. I don't know. And I. And then. And I was like, you asked me, like, you asked me to do this.
Natalie
That's really funny that she's like, oh, right.
Brooke
I did understand.
Eric
But maybe record. But maybe. So the falcon talks.
Guest/Announcer
Of course.
Eric
The falcon talks.
Natalie
I'm not lost.
Eric
I want that on the record.
Natalie
I knew exactly where I was the entire time.
Why is she yelling?
John
Great.
Eric
Done. Did you hear her go, oh, she would do that after every take and
Natalie
think, wait, why was she. Why was she yelling? Did you tell her to yell?
Eric
I told her to be big.
Natalie
Oh, interesting.
Eric
And we have. We have other takes, so she's not so big.
Natalie
Okay, okay, okay. Because I feel like her voice will play better when it's not that. When it's not that loud.
Eric
You think?
Natalie
Yes. It's like a foreign voice. I feel like it's, like, very funny when it's just like.
Eric
My experience in cartoons is like, they always want you to be as big as possible.
Natalie
Not Owen Wilson in cars. He talks like this.
Eric
Gee, you're right. Dave, dial it back a little bit.
Natalie
Okay. Well, congratulations to Christina Dobrik for a big role. How much money she's gonna get paid for that?
Eric
She's getting a. She's getting a gift card to Olive Garden that will be there.
Brooke
Is that what I'm getting?
Natalie
Whatever you're saying.
Eric
Natalie's gonna be making an appearance in episode one.
Natalie
Really?
Eric
We're very excited. John.
John
What's.
Natalie
Natalie.
David Dobrik
Alex.
Eric
Brooke.
Brooke
Brooke.
Natalie
Eric.
Eric
Yeah, Hague.
John
Really?
Eric
I'm going deep in the list of your friends.
Natalie
Is Eric actually in it?
Eric
No.
Natalie
That's really funny.
Eric
We don't have that many parts. I think Tay would be a good voice, though. She's got a good voice. She's got like a. I think maybe like a chipmunk or something. I don't mean that in a mean way, but like a. Like a bunny or mouse.
Natalie
Bunny or a mouse. Yeah. That is Kante vibes.
Jason
So good.
Brooke
So good, so good.
John

My birthday's coming up.
Eric
Are you excited?
Jason
What?
Eric
Okay.
Natalie
Why'd I pivot?
Brooke
I mean, it's like a crazy. Yeah, it's a good topic. No, I know.
Natalie
Like, why did I make it all by myself?
Brooke
No, no, you always do that. I'm not surprised by that. But it's just like, your birthday's in like, a month.
Natalie
No, it's basically. It's in like, 23 days. I'm just kind of nervous. We don't have, like, anything planned. Yeah, that's it. You have stuff planned. Are you okay?
Brooke
I'm working on it, you know.
Natalie
Did you get Fall Out Boy to perform?
Ad/Announcer
No.
Brooke
No, unfortunately, I've not been able to play.
Natalie
That's the big one. That's. I want that so bad.
Eric
Yeah, that would be amazing. Everybody likes Fall Out Boy.
John
I know.
Natalie
It's like such an easy one to lie.
Eric
It's a big one.
Natalie
It's like, so. And it's.
Eric
How about Blink?
Natalie
Yeah, that's great, too. Any of those bands are really good. Like, backyard. Like, any. A backyard performance is really good.
Eric
Wyatt is stunned that the people that you've had in your backyard. Like, I told him really casually that I was. I saw Lizzo last night and he was like, what? He's like, where'd you see Lizzo? She was at David's house performing.
Natalie
No, I mean, it is crazy. Like, the list is 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Tyga, J. Balvin, Lizzo.
Eric
All American.
Natalie
All American Rejects. Who else?
Brooke
Sexyy Red.
Natalie
Sexyy Red.
Eric
Sexy Red.
Natalie
I mean, it's a pretty crazy list of people in the Ty Dollar Sign.
Eric
DJ Rent Free.
Natalie
DJ Rent Free.
Brooke
Dylan Francis.
Eric
Dylan Francis.
Natalie
I mean, it's pretty crazy. And that's not, like, people coming. That's like people performing, which I find, like, pretty. Pretty crazy.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
In the backyard.
Brooke
Why are you so dead set on Fall Out Boy. Because this is like the fifth year in a row where you've been like, fall Out Boy, Fall Out Boy, Fall Out Boy.
Natalie
Because I used to listen to their music when I was a kid when I would have Nerf gun fights.
Eric
Oh, that'd be so sick. While they played, you bring out a bunch of Nerf games.
Natalie
Well, it's not only. Yes, that is really cool. And what we would do is we'd play. We'd play like two Fall Out Boy tracks.
Eric
Okay.
Natalie
And we'd do. Well, actually, we'd also play Panic at the disco. We'd kind of mix. Okay. And we'd put strobe lights around the house. We only had two, obviously, because we got them from Spencer's. Whatever. But you only need two because our houses were small.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
So we put one upstairs and downstairs. And when you're running with a Nerf gun and there's strobe lights, it's like
David Dobrik
you're skipping through time.
Natalie
It's like the Matrix. And when you're listening to a Fall Out Boy track or Panic, it really is like, is going down. It feels like. Dance, Dance. We're falling apart. It's crazy.
Eric
I'm over here.
Natalie
No, it's crazy.
Eric
Alex. I'm down. I'm up here. Cover me.
Natalie
And it's 2v2. My favorite was when we did this is when we were a little older. We bought Airsoft guns.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
And we blacked out the entire house. Like turned off all the appliances, everything. And I played the John Wick soundtrack throughout the house.
Eric
Oh.
Natalie
Like through all the speakers.
Eric
What's that? Like opera.
David Dobrik
So I play music like this throughout the house. Like stuff from Bourne or John Wick.
Eric
That's cool.
David Dobrik
And lights off.
Natalie
It's so fucking dark.
David Dobrik
It's terrifying.
Natalie
And we're. We're grown ups now.
Eric
Right.
Natalie
So we're playing with Airsoft guns.
Eric
It's really good.
Ad/Announcer
Really good.
Natalie
And we have silencers on our guns. And the way we start is. Cuz it'd be a disadvantage if you
David Dobrik
knew where the person started.
John
Right.
David Dobrik
So we first we meet in the driveway. It's pitch black. It's midnight. It's midnight at my house. And in like in our hat. In my hat, I put a list of places. So I do living room, kitchen upstairs, living room upstairs, bedroom upstairs, John's room, downstairs, blah, blah, blah. And I do doubles of each. And then each team, there's two teams pick out of the hat where we're spawning. So where we start. So the opposite team doesn't know where we start. So there's a good chance we're both in the same room. Or there's a good chance.
Natalie
Because.
David Dobrik
Because if you knew one person started upstairs and one started downstairs, it'd just be a fight at the stairs.
Eric
Yeah.
David Dobrik
But now it's every inch you move, you're like, are they upstairs with me? Are they downstairs with me? And it's really fucking intense.
Eric
How do you get everybody in the house and not know where everybody is?
David Dobrik
You go hide. So like, one team goes.
Eric
Team and goes and hides.
David Dobrik
Yeah. And. And if you walk into the same room as the other team, the other team has to be like, we're in the same room.
Natalie
And then.
David Dobrik
And then. And then we have to restart. Sorry, that's what I forgot to mention. So you are at different rooms, but you could be on the same floor.
Eric
Got it.
David Dobrik
So you're not like. It's really.
Eric
Your house is not that big though.
David Dobrik
No, it's not. But like, we used to do this with Nerf guns, but it's really. We're climbing through, like, windows and shit.
Eric
Yeah.
David Dobrik
And it's really fucking.
Eric
How old were you?
Natalie
You're like, two years ago. Wait, what do you mean?
David Dobrik
This was here at this house?
Eric
No, in Vernon Hills.
Natalie
Oh, and we do Nerf guns.
Eric
Yeah.
David Dobrik
No, the boy.
Brooke
You did the airsoft thing here?
David Dobrik
Yes.
Natalie
Oh, what?
David Dobrik
Yeah, we bought airsoft guns here.
Eric
Oh, you did it here?
David Dobrik
Yeah, when I was like 26. Oh, wait, what are you talking about?
Eric
I thought this was a story from like, when you were like, nine.
Natalie
No, I played through the speakers of
David Dobrik
the have speakers, like through the house.
Brooke
I thought you just, like, had a speaker.
David Dobrik
No, it's in every room.
Eric
No, you had a Bluetooth.
Natalie
It's really.
David Dobrik
No, no, no. This is like, coming through the actual home.
Eric
Who'd you play with?
David Dobrik
It was me, John, Alex, Ilia.
Eric
Oh, my God.
David Dobrik
Two on two.
Brooke
Wow.
John
Yeah.
David Dobrik
It's incredible.
Eric
Did you come in your pants after?
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Natalie
You're like.
David Dobrik
You're drenched in sweat.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
You're drenched in sweat.
David Dobrik
Cuz these guns are like. They're shooting like real guns.
Natalie
Yeah, right.
David Dobrik
They're like making the sounds.
Natalie
It's no fucking.
Eric
Did they have as much fun as you did?
Natalie
Yes.
Eric
That's good.
Natalie
But we never played again.
Eric
No, just once.
Natalie
For two reasons. One, because it got so intense that our guns broke because we were like diving on the floor and shit.
David Dobrik
Okay.
Natalie
And two, it's too scary. It's. It really is. Like, when you're put into, like, when you're put into that situation, and you're like, in a different room. It's really scary where, like, it's. It's like, let's not do that again.
Eric
It's.
Natalie
It's not good. And like, the shots don't even hurt that much. Yeah, but it's so terrifying not knowing where the ocean the person is. It's really not worth it.
Eric
Damn. I don't know. It sounds really fun.
Natalie
It's. Would you like to play with us?
Eric
Sure. I'll do it. Really?
Natalie
Really now?
David Dobrik
Would you do it?
Brooke
I don't like that.
Eric
I don't like it either, but I feel like I have to see what. What scary is.
Natalie
Oh, it's. It's insane.
Eric
You know what I mean?
Natalie
It's not like we're filming it.
Eric
No, I know.
Natalie
With flashlights or anything.
Eric
No.
Natalie
So it's like. It's dark, Jay. And you're like. It feels like you broke into a house and you have to eliminate somebody. You have to kill somebody. It's really fucking scary.
Eric
What can you see? Is there, like, light coming in from the moon?
Natalie
You'll see like, like a little red dot on, like. Yeah.
Brooke
On your forehead when you're getting shot.
David Dobrik
No, you'll see, like.
Natalie
You'll see red dot coming from, like, something that's plugged in that, like, we can't unplug. Like the fire, the smoke detector or something. And then you'll see, like. Yeah, you'll get light from some of the stars or the moon or the town. Right. Like, the city will be shining in on it.
Eric
That is the most kind of fun, though.
Natalie
It's incredible.
Eric
Really.
Natalie
I highly recommend it. Anyway, that's why I want Fall Out Boy. Other than that, what are we planning for my birthday? This is what I want to do.
David Dobrik
I want to, like, kind of prep it. Like, I want to make sure it's good for the vlog. So I want to get like a hundred bottles of champagne.
Eric
Okay.
David Dobrik
And at the end of the night, I want to have like a champagne moment where like, everyone, like, champagnes, everything, you know?
Eric
I mean, I always get nervous someone's gonna get a cork in the eye.
David Dobrik
I don't know. I don't know if it's my problem.
Eric
How is that not a thing? Like, when people go party all over the world, how's a champagne pop not hit somebody in the eye?
Brooke
I mean, I'm sure.
David Dobrik
Yeah, I'm sure it's happened. I always do it like it's never happened before. No, the problem is with the champagne thing is, like, it's really Hard to pop champagne at the same time.
Eric
Oh, yeah.
David Dobrik
Like, if you're not like a linebacker, like, if you're giving it to, like, 50 random people, it's really hard to,
Eric
like, hire some champagne poppers.
David Dobrik
Oh, that could be good.
Eric
Hire 50 champagne poppers to stand behind fall.
David Dobrik
And then what I think would be really cool is the glambot. Did you get my note last night? Getting the glam bot would be really cool.
John
Cool.
Eric
That's fun.
David Dobrik
And then, like, incorporating that, like, that's the thing that you see, like, on the red carpet at, like, Oscars.
Eric
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Like. Like, we have always a really nice photo booth. And this year Snapchat is sponsoring our photo booth. So it's gonna be kick ass. But, like, right, I want, like, I want, like, a video component and then, like, you know, like, I want things that could be.
Eric
You want that guy here with the long hair?
David Dobrik
Yes.
Eric
That's cool.
David Dobrik
Like, I think that's really.
Eric
That would be sick.
David Dobrik
People would love that. I just DM'd him.
John
He.
David Dobrik
He messaged me back. He's. He's like, I'm on a walk with my family. I'll let you know. This sounds fun. Should be really cool if we can get them in the driveway or wherever.
Eric
You gonna get big celebs here?
David Dobrik
I don't know.
Natalie
I don't know.
David Dobrik
This is a bigger. This is like, this is the first time for my birthday that there's, like, already that I know that, like, about 10 people are flying out. Really pretty crazy. Like, it's kind of scary. Yeah.
Eric
That's all.
David Dobrik
Ten of our friends from around the world are flying out for this one, which is, like, insane. Insane to me. So I'm like, this better, like, because it's the 30th.
Natalie
It's the 30th.
David Dobrik
Yes. This is kind of the one I. Arguably, this is my final big birthday until my 50th.
Eric
You have any prospective girlfriends flying out for this?
David Dobrik
No, I don't. I don't like doing that.
Eric
Well, I mean, or even if it's just a friend who's a girl that you might be interested in.
David Dobrik
No, I'm saying, like, I don't like being, like, taken on my birthday.
Eric
Oh, you like to walk around?
Brooke
He likes to explore the field.
David Dobrik
No, it's not even exploring the field. I just don't want to, like, have. Have to be checking in on someone.
Eric
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Like, during my birthday. Cause I. I really am like a lone wolf on my birthday. You know what's tough when it's your birthday at Your house is. It's like sometimes, like, you'll walk over places and it. You could feel that people don't want to waste your time.
Eric
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
David Dobrik
And then I'll be like, no, no, no. I want us. Like, I've felt this at other people's time, at other people's houses. When I'm there for their birthday and they come over, I'm like, trying to scoot them out as quick as possible.
Eric
Yeah.
David Dobrik
I'm like, thanks for having me go, enjoy. But like, a lot of times I'm like, no, no, no. Can I just sit here?
Eric
We talked about this last time with John, remember?
Natalie
Really?
Eric
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Why? What? What's the John?
Eric
You're like a damn amnesia patient. We did, four days ago. Are you serious? Oh, my God.
David Dobrik
What do you say?
Eric
Did I tell you Ilya and I were on a private chat? Yeah, today, Dave. You told me that today.
David Dobrik
Wait, did I say this?
Eric
At one point, we had a conversation about this. It was a pretty good conversation, actually. About how you feel awkward at parties. I feel awkward at parties.
David Dobrik
Yes, yes, yes.
Eric
How to get out of sleep.
David Dobrik
My favorite part of parties. I was just telling this to Alex.
Natalie
Yeah.
David Dobrik
Is. So it's my bedroom upstairs on the left, and my three friends, bedrooms on the right. Right. It's Ilya's, Alex's, John's. And I love going to Alex's room. Cause no one goes into that room ever. Oh, and lighting up a cigarette and smoking in there.
Eric
Really?
David Dobrik
It's so fun. I do it every party.
Eric
Do you take someone with you?
David Dobrik
No, I do it by myself.
Eric
What?
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Eric
Alex's room doesn't have a balcony or anything, though.
David Dobrik
It's so not. Because the entire room is up for grabs for smoking cigarettes. The entire house, smoke anywhere. Right. It's like, who cares? The house is a mess. And like, the one room that feels like the most private is Alex's. And it's so funny because Alex always. Alex just told me, like, every party we have, I'm always like, who the fuck is leaving?
Brooke
Oh, no way.
David Dobrik
There's cigarettes in here. I told him this, like, literally the last week. And every party I'm like, why are
Natalie
people coming in here and smoking?
Eric
But I would think you would. If I was going to go smoke, I would take some away with me, talk to them.
John
Ah.
Eric
I take, like. I take, like somebody, you know, that I love around here. Ilya, it's like Jason Nash.
John
Who?
Brooke
Jason. This guy named Jason. He would love to do a smoke with you in the middle of the fight.
Eric
I don't know. Yeah, you should come get me.
David Dobrik
No, no, because there's plenty of people that I like.
Natalie
Of course.
David Dobrik
I love out there, so why would
Eric
you take someone to have a smoke with? Also, you're inside because.
David Dobrik
My moment.
Eric
Yeah, but why wouldn't you have your moment on your beautiful balcony?
Natalie
Well, there's 300 people on my balcony during the parties. Do you know what I mean?
Eric
So go to the other balcony.
Natalie
I don't know, but I love it. I'm really, really excited for this.
Eric
It's so weird. You're smoking inside by yourself in the worst room in the house.
Natalie
Well, I think that's what's so cool. It's the only room that's, like, untouched by decorations, untouched by the glitz and the glamour. It's just Alex's room. It's crazy, and it's, like, really, really fun.
David Dobrik
Nat, do you have any. Do you have any ideas for the bird? Are you excited about this one?
Eric
This is so funny. He keeps asking you.
Brooke
I am. Like, what are you planning that? Well, because it is.
David Dobrik
Well, because she started planning it, like, four months ago, and I feel like we haven't gotten anywhere.
Brooke
No, I mean, like, all the details are figured out.
David Dobrik
Okay.
Brooke
The only thing that's missing is the artist. And, like, I do. I did want to, like, figure out something more, like, different and unique to do.
Ad/Announcer
Nice.
Natalie
That'd be sick.
Eric
When I move, you move.
David Dobrik
Move, bitch.
Natalie
Get out the way.
John
Move.
Eric
Natalie. Get out the way.
Natalie
Wow, Dave, this one's just for you.
Hannah
Move.
Eric
Matt.
Natalie
Get out the way.
Eric
Out the way.
David Dobrik
Get out the way.
Eric
I got hoes named Natalie in different areas.
Natalie
That's really funny. Well, wait, Nat, tell me. What is it? What? What?
Brooke
No, I wanted to talk. I don't know. Like, I. I feel like it's a little bit, like, redundant right now, because we're doing the same.
Eric
Get Wyatt Nash, man.
Natalie
I like the redundancy. I like when it's the same setup up. I think it's so cool. It's like, oh, I'm back. Like, it's always the casino on the pickleball court. Casino is a hit because every. Because everyone wants to just sit around and do nothing at a party. And casino is, like, the perfect excuse to be sitting around.
Brooke
What? People want to rage.
Natalie
No, I. I know not. Sorry. I'm not saying everyone, but I'm saying a lot of people want something to do with their hands.
Eric
Yes.
Natalie
And the casino is the best because, like, you could be at the casino
David Dobrik
by yourself, and you'll be sitting next
Natalie
to people, and it's completely acceptable. And it's, like, so fun. So you don't have to be, like, fucking drinking and dancing on the dance floor. That's what I really like about the parties here is, like, I feel like there's something for everyone.
Eric
Will there be a casino this time?
Natalie
Yes. Yeah. Yeah.
Eric
Oh, wow.
Natalie
Yeah. Every year. I can't think.
Brooke
We've never not had a casino.
Natalie
Really?
Brooke
What? Yeah.
Natalie
Wow. Yeah. No, I love it.
Eric
So casino, Glambot and an artist. That's it.
Natalie
I want Glambot. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I also want, like. I want, like, a little champagne moment, like, maybe even in a room. Or, like. Like, I just wanna, like, plan things throughout the night that, like, we could, like. We could film.
Eric
Maybe Natalie could, like, plan little. Little moments with, like, people wishing you happy birthday privately, like, up in the. In the bedroom.
Natalie
Ooh, that's kind of fun.
Brooke
Yeah. Yeah.
Eric
Like, how cool would it be if it was, like, Jamie Foxx is. Has, like, two minutes just to say happy birthday?
Brooke
I think we should just have a videographer, like, dedicated to doing that.
Natalie
Yeah, yeah. Happy birthday. That's good. That's really fun. Fun.
Brooke
Maybe that could be, like, a part of the snap thing too, or something.
Natalie
That's. That's.
Eric
But would that stuff make the video anyway?
David Dobrik
Yeah, you.
Natalie
Like, we'd use, like, the three best ones. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Same with the Glambot. Like, not all the Glambots are gonna be in it, but, like, we'll montage, like, six together. Right. I just think. I don't know. I think just, like, having. I think a lot of the parties. The party montages can be very similar. Like, one of my favorite party montages I've ever filmed was the Bangkok montage. Because we hired a monkey.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
To come and, like, smoke a cigarette with us.
Eric
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Natalie
And that made it so much more different. Or like, the Seven Wonders montage. We drove a car into the pool.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
And, like, I love that type of stuff.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
I don't know.
Eric
What about some sort of light show?
Natalie
What?
Eric
What about some sort of light show?
Natalie
I kind of like drone shows.
Brooke
Really?
Eric
They're so.
Natalie
No, they're not.
David Dobrik
The drone chores are good. When you don't tell anyone to pay attention to them. When people find them on their own, they're so cool. Like, you can't be, like, everybody.
Natalie
You can't turn the music off and
David Dobrik
be like, drone show. You gotta just have it going and be like. Is that.
Brooke
Guys, Guys, guys.
Eric
Drone show.
Brooke
But it's so expensive for, like, such a payoff, you know?
Natalie
Really?
Brooke
Yeah.
Eric
Like. Yeah. What would it say? Happy birthday, Dave.
David Dobrik
Wait, what's expensive? Like, over. Over 40 grand, probably, like, around there.
Brooke
Yeah.
Natalie
Yeah. That is really expensive.
Brooke
It's crazy. That's crazy.
David Dobrik
You can't work out, like, some kind of a collaboration.
Brooke
I'm talking to a company right now for that. But even still then it's like, 25 that you get half off or something,
David Dobrik
and it's like, I don't know, dude,
Natalie
drone show is pretty fucking cool for.
Guest/Announcer
What.
David Dobrik
Where do they take off, though?
Natalie
They can.
Brooke
I don't even know if they can do it here, to be honest.
David Dobrik
Yeah, I mean, that'd be crazy. Drone shows are cool now. Like, at the Paramount, one was really cool.
Eric
Yeah.
Natalie
Is.
David Dobrik
You know how, like, jackass. That the guy flies on the. Johnny Knoxville flies on the rocket.
Eric
Yep.
David Dobrik
So now drone shows, I feel like people have seen this a lot now. Now, but, like, now they have, like, flares that shoot out of the drones, so it's not just the light of the drone. Like, now it looks like it's almost like a fireworks show. But, yeah. Guys, if you have any suggestions for my birthday or anything, please let me know. I want to make it fun and different.
Eric
Let us know in the comments.
David Dobrik
Oh, I also think for my birthday video, tell me if this is fun. Like, it can't just be all party, so I need to have, like, a moment in it that's, like, different. I think it should start by me spinning the globe again and I take a solo trip somewhere.
Eric
Wow.
David Dobrik
It's kind of fun. I've never taken a solo trip.
Eric
It's really fun.
David Dobrik
And I. And I just go by myself. No film or just me.
Eric
And you're gonna film yourself?
David Dobrik
Yeah.
Eric
Oh, it's great.
Natalie
And, like, wherever.
David Dobrik
Wherever the dart lands.
Eric
Wow, that'll be great.
David Dobrik
You think?
Eric
Smoke all you want.
David Dobrik
Yeah, yeah.
Natalie
That's the goal. But. All right, let me know. Let me know what you guys want to see. And thank you guys for joining us for this episode. Let me know if you guys want
David Dobrik

VIEWS with David Dobrik & Jason Nash
Date: June 30, 2026
This episode dives into a signature chaotic and hilarious spiral after a blow-up between David Dobrik and Natalie, leading to Natalie skipping a friend's Hamptons trip she originally planned—a move that gets dissected with blunt honesty and trademark sarcasm. The gang (David, Jason, Natalie, Brooke, Eric, and guests) get candid about their work relationships, creative process fallouts, birthday party planning madness, and reminisce about wild Nerf and Airsoft games. It’s a peek behind the curtain at how personal drama weaves into their production grind and social lives, laced with nostalgia, pop culture riffs, and escalating party ambitions.
