Genesis1:1 “In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth.” Day 1 of the He Is series introduces Elohim, the first name used for God in the Bible, meaning God as Creator. From the very beginning, God spoke the universe into existence and continues to lovingly orchestrate the details of our lives. Even when life includes struggles, we can trust that Elohim is present, guiding and creating good from our circumstances. As we grow in understanding who God truly is, our faith deepens, and we learn to trust Him more fully with our lives.
