Today we're talking about a truth that many of us have had to cling to in some of life's hardest moments: God is near to the brokenhearted.

If you've walked through disappointment, loss, grief, betrayal, unanswered prayers, or seasons that simply didn't unfold the way you hoped, then you know what it feels like to carry a heavy heart. Difficult seasons can leave us wondering where God is and whether His promises still apply to us in the middle of our pain.

Yet Scripture reminds us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." What a beautiful promise—that God doesn't wait for us to have it all together before He comes close. He meets us right in the middle of our sorrow, our questions, and our struggles.

One of the most powerful ways we experience God's faithfulness is not by avoiding hardship, but by discovering that He walks with us through it. His presence becomes our comfort, His promises become our anchor, and His love sustains us when we feel weak.
