Russia just got caught lying again about progress on the battlefield. This was a problem for them last fall when they made up gains around Kupyansk but somehow that lesson wasn't learned. Over the weekend, the Chief of the General Staff Gerasimov just randomly threw out five new claims that don't line up with reality.
