When asked by FIBBS "What do they want to make in its place?", WILLS replies, in line with the title, theme, and metaphorical conceit of the sketch, "Trouble" but, if memory serves, Pinter changed the last line in certain performances and screen interpretations of this sketch. The BBC, for example, released an animated version of the sketch in the 70s in which WILLS answers that the factory workers don't wish to make trouble, they wish to make something else. Love.
