So we just had to get rid of them.

So we started the process, and what you do is you cut the base of the vine and then you treat it with vine away.

Vine away. You know, basically, you treat it with a weed killer. That worked. So now the vines are weakened and wilted, and we've slowly started cutting them away very gently to not damage the stonework. As we're removing the vines, they're thinning and thinning. And I'm finding all this stuff.

I walk out the door, and Tiffany calls me an hour later, and she was like, girl, tell Him.

I was like, girl, did you leave your contact lenses at my house? On the corner of the armrest of the couch. Karen's dry ass. Contact lenses. No trace of her except the contact.

It looked like I was incinerated. And nothing was left but my. My aqua dailies.

It was so funny.

They were literally crust right on. Crumped up like that.

It was. And I don't wear contacts, and I'm not used to seeing them, so they took me by surprise. There's the hilarities.

Just sitting on the arm of the couch, only, like, punching the air.

I was like, God damn it. Because why would it be the context?

And you're so embarrassed. Especially as a neurodivergent person who's, like, sensitive to the fact that we can be disorganized.

And we're trying. To your point. We're trying. Trying so hard to not do that.

Of course I left my eyeballs on your couch. Damn it. I was like, that's so rude. Like, I'm so sorry. And she was like, it's fine.

Which I did not care. I thought it was the funniest thing. And it's been a joke amongst us to this day.

To this day that it's always funny. So then finally, Tiffany comes up to my house last week, and their ongoing joke is like, when she was walking out the door, like, I'm sure you left something. She's like, no, I didn't.

And I did. At one point, I turned around and left my whole purse.

Yeah.

She's like, dog carrier. Like, what am I doing? Where am I going?

So it takes also me and Tiffany 35 minutes to say goodbye. Much to the chagrin of every man around us. The gentleman that she's with, the gentleman that I'm married to. They're like, well, we're gonna have 30 minutes to watch these girls say goodbye.

So then you get that now you're like, I really have everything done. And I'm like, look at us. She leaves. Now, mind you, at one point during her time here, she changed into a bathing suit so she could go swim. She got the bathing suit. She's good. She's wearing my sweats on the way out the door.

She's a nice clean pair of comfy sweats so I can drive home.

The next day, I'm doing my rounds at the manor, and I go into an abandoned bathroom that I never use. And I was like, in the corner of my eye, see something. And I'm like, not knowing what it was because I never go in this bathroom. And I push the door closed. And on the doorknob, hanging is a pair of denim shorts, which I pick up and go, oh, Tiffany's. And as I remove that, a pair of panties. Bright orange panties, bright and also hanging on the antique door now.

And they say, boo on the crop with a little ghost. Oh, wait, that little detail that's so funny in your haunted house.
