Brittany Broski
This is a headgun podcast.
Beck Bennett
What's our podcast? What's it gonna be about? Tell us what's our podcast. What should we talk about with Beck and Kyle? Oh, the microphone.
Kyle Mo
She came around yesterday and she didn't know what she was.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, yeah.
Kyle Mo
She came around yesterday. She didn't know what she was on. She was on love. She was on love.
Beck Bennett
She was on love.
Kyle Mo
She was on love.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Hey, everybody. Kyle here, back here. And this is what's our podcast. The show where we don't have a frickin idea what our frickin podcast should be about.
Beck Bennett
Okay. Okay.
Kyle Mo
And that's why we bring on. That's why we bring on guests to. To enlighten us and to pitch their ideas for what would make a great podcast for us. I've known Beck since. I'm thinking probably September 2003.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. I'm thinking. I think it was maybe October.
Kyle Mo
Record scratch.
Beck Bennett
That's a.
Kyle Mo
She's on love. She's on love.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. No, but it was probably September. Yeah. Oh, no, it was September. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
A September day. September day.
Beck Bennett
I met Kyle down the way. Pretty good.
Kyle Mo
It was great.
Beck Bennett
So what's going on, listeners and viewers? It's me and Kyle, of course, we're doing the podcast. What do you got?
Kyle Mo
So we're coming off. We just recorded an episode recently.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. And we're coming off.
Kyle Mo
And the whole point of the show is really to figure one. It's to figure out what our podcast.
Beck Bennett
Should be about, of course.
Kyle Mo
But it's also to become good at podcasting, right?
Beck Bennett
Oh, yeah. I guess that that could be true.
Kyle Mo
Because when we land on what our show is, ultimately, we want it to be well received and well regarded and highly praised. We want people to like listening to it. So we're new to it. So there were. I will say we took a break between the. Recording the last episode. Recording this episode. We talked about some things we want to change.
Beck Bennett
Yes, we do. So last episode we took a little cut in between this, like, opening part and our guests coming. And I don't think we're gonna do that. I think we're just gonna keep the. Keep things rolling right as they come in. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
And there was also a con.
Beck Bennett
Okay.
Kyle Mo
And I'm gonna be working on the art for the podcast within a podcast, we call it. That's our final moment where we do the podcast that our guest is pitching. I'm start working for that art here so that we're not wasting time doing it when we're in the.
Beck Bennett
When our guest tells us Their idea. You're gonna get right to work, you're gonna pull out the Sharpie right away, and you're go town. And you're going to try to spell the word as perfectly as possible, because last time you didn't spell it right. And that was kind of awkward for the whole show.
Kyle Mo
Now, okay, this is something that was not brought up in the last episode. I. I did spell it incorrectly. But you also spoke it incorrectly several times prior to that.
Beck Bennett
Absolutely.
Kyle Mo
So why doesn't anybody ever give you about that? It feels like everybody's always giving me about the.
Beck Bennett
That I misspelled it because, dude, because, like, you're perfect and you made one mistake your entire life. We have to rail you for it.
Kyle Mo
It Understood. Wait, one other thing.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, one other thing.
Kyle Mo
So when we bring out our guests, do we interview them?
Beck Bennett
We talk.
Kyle Mo
You know, maybe we're going.
Beck Bennett
We talk to them.
Kyle Mo
There was a dialogue that maybe we're going too hard in the interview. And, like, we should be also thinking about, like, well, yeah, we want to know. Get to know them, but we also want to, like, talk to them about, like, podcasting. Right. And, like, kind of. Do they have tips?
Beck Bennett
Yeah, just have a good time.
Kyle Mo
Yeah, maybe. You know? Cause I can, you know, I'm not Larry King, you know? You know, I'm not even Barry King, you know?
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Is Barry King his little brother? Barry?
Kyle Mo
He's like a little brother, and he's like, do I get to interview now?
Beck Bennett
I'm interviewing now. Barry. That's Larry. He's saying, barry, Barry.
Kyle Mo
I'm just, like, imagining the whole thing right now.
Beck Bennett
Imagine in a cut to, Barry lives under the desk or something. He has a little house there.
Kyle Mo
I can't even imagine that.
Beck Bennett
He's got the whole suspenders and everything. He's got tie, glasses.
Brittany Broski
Right.
Kyle Mo
And of course. And of course. And of course. Right, right. And of course. And of Right, right, right. And of course, here comes Mr. Nerlander. Well, Mr. Nederlander, he's like the next door neighbor. He's the next door neighbor who lives by the.
Brittany Broski
He's the next door neighbor.
Kyle Mo
He doesn't live under the desk. He lives in, like, he lives in another house.
Beck Bennett
Does he have any animals? Does he have any pets or anything?
Kyle Mo
I can't even imagine that. That's hilarious, Mr. Nederlander. I don't know. It's another thing to do. It's another thing to do.
Beck Bennett
Bury Mr. Nederlander under Larry. Larry.
Kyle Mo
It's something.
Beck Bennett
It's something. So wait, and why were we talking about that precisely. Just to have fun. Fun, I guess. Oh, because we're talking about how to interview.
Kyle Mo
We don't need to be like.
Beck Bennett
We don't need to be hardcore. We don't need to be like hardcore interviews.
Kyle Mo
Yeah, we got. Definitely. Let's learn some stuff because everybody comes in here and I want to shout out our producers for finding these incredible guests. Because the thing is that I like learning about them because so many of them come from different walks of life.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. It's not my walk of life. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Which is the rock a doodle walk.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. I gotta do walk like that, I guess pointed that out to me. I gotta do the rockadoodle walk.
Kyle Mo
Kyle gonna give it to you.
Beck Bennett
Kyle gonna stick it to you. He's been waiting. He's been waiting to stick this on me for a long time. He's never talked about how I walk. Meanwhile. Meanwhile, we both have black jeans on today.
Kyle Mo
Hey, what pants you gonna wear today? Nah, I think I might.
Beck Bennett
Maybe I'll put on my black jeans for the podcast back.
Kyle Mo
What are you. I was talking to my other. I was talking to.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, it's me, Mickey D. Man.
Kyle Mo
That's cool.
Beck Bennett
That's cool.
Kyle Mo
I just feel like if somebody could. If somebody could record, could edit all these little, like, little kind of exchanges we do because we're doing these voices. Like, that's a show. That's a TV show.
Beck Bennett
That's a TV show. It's not a podcast, it's a tv. But people do make TV shows, I think, based off of podcasts I've seen. Yeah, I've seen that before.
Kyle Mo
But you just do. Cause like, you're talking about. We've done how many. This is like episode six. So you put all those little things together. We tie it together with some vo, you know, like kind of like old film noir style. Like, I was, you know, back and I was on the couch.
Beck Bennett
He was walking down the street and he. Yeah, something like that.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Well, we're on the couches, though. But you tie it all together with the VO and we have a little narrative going. And so you're doing all those, like, kind of like fun new characters are coming up and it's weaves this whole narrative until they all come crashing together. Could be a really, really good show.
Beck Bennett
Oh, I. Dude, you know, I don't like to blow smoke up your ass. I think that's one of the best ideas you've ever had. And I think you should. Honestly, if the industry was like, in a better place, I think you should take that out and pitch it maybe. Okay, well, I think things are hurting right now and that's not the type of thing that people are going to really make.
Kyle Mo
Well, if anyone out there, if there's a listener out there who's enjoying some of these little character bits we're doing, if you want to cut them together, and even if you want to write a script about sort of this sort of film noir style VO that Becker, I could do to weave all these characters together.
Beck Bennett
Or it could be even live action maybe, so we can be on camera.
Kyle Mo
For the VO parts. Like you're imagining wearing like, sort of like long coats. It's like sort of like.
Beck Bennett
Exactly, I'm imagining we're wearing long coats.
Kyle Mo
I would like that.
Beck Bennett
Also, I want to take this out to. If there's any executives out there that are listening to this, you can just slide this over to your boss and maybe we could fast track this sort of thing, get this on tv. So this is. Leave any sort of responses in the comments and let us know.
Kyle Mo
Well, not exactly, because we don't want to, because the edit you're going to do of all the different characters and voices we do that'll be weaved together through this voice that will not be in the comments. That's gonna be a separate video that you're gonna have to email to. Is there a show email or anything like that?
Brittany Broski
Well, let's.
Kyle Mo
Okay, well, let's try to come up with something that we think could probably exist. The name of our shows is what's our Podcast?
Beck Bennett
I think so.
Kyle Mo
What's our pmail.com.dot dot.
Beck Bennett
Dot like? Or does it end at the dot com?
Kyle Mo
And folks, here's another chance for you to weigh in. What do I say to something like that?
Beck Bennett
Yeah, leave it in the comments.
Kyle Mo
Yeah, that you can leave in the comments.
Beck Bennett
Okay, so we got that part figured out of the show and so now we're all set. Right.
Kyle Mo
How long are we supposed to talk before we bring in our guests?
Beck Bennett
15 minutes. And we went. The first five were sign art sucker.
Kyle Mo
So that's. We've only been doing 10 minutes.
Beck Bennett
The guest is here, so we can wrap it up. So. So let's just welcome our guest in.
Kyle Mo
Our guest today on what's our podcast is Brittany Broski.
Beck Bennett
Yes.
Kyle Mo
Brittany is a comedian, digital creator, podcast host, and musician who first gained viral.
Beck Bennett
Fame in 2019 for TikTok for her.
Kyle Mo
Trying to kombucha for the first time. She just released her first original single called the sun in April of this year. Let's Give it up for Britney Broski.
Beck Bennett
Nice.
Kyle Mo
Think I had maybe a Cobb salad.
Brittany Broski
Okay. Wow, you're getting experimental.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, you crazy ass motherfucker.
Brittany Broski
Crazy ass.
Beck Bennett
Wait, what was the place you guys were talking about?
Brittany Broski
Olive in Time.
Beck Bennett
Oh, Olive and Time. Class.
Kyle Mo
I was talking about Don Cuco and.
Beck Bennett
Don Cuco that I've never been there.
Brittany Broski
You would love Don.
Beck Bennett
You think I would love Don now? What's. What's. What do you guys get when you're at Don Cuco?
Kyle Mo
This is an old school Mexican restaurant.
Beck Bennett
I recognize the name. I recognize the name. You don't have to explain. You don't have to mansplain me. You don't have to. White CEO mansplain me. Like, okay, freaking CEO.
Brittany Broski
And he was about to.
Kyle Mo
He was about.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, he was about to. He's about to be like, don Cuco.
Kyle Mo
It's all right. People dunk on me all the time.
Beck Bennett
If you want to dunk on Kyle, you can dunk on me too. But Kyle's a lot of fun to dunk on.
Kyle Mo
It's all good and I don't care. It's all good.
Brittany Broski
I'm used to it.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
Okay. So Don Cuco got the area fajitas.
Brittany Broski
To answer your question. Fajitas.
Beck Bennett
Fajitas.
Brittany Broski
Chicken fajitas.
Beck Bennett
Sizzling plate coming out. Very exciting.
Brittany Broski
I think there's something inherent and I'm sensing it in all three of us that we like attention.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
So I like to get fajitas because they're loud.
Beck Bennett
Look, there came. I like to get fajitos because they're loud. Fajitas because they're loud. I didn't really hear it. I didn't really hear it until right there.
Kyle Mo
What's interesting.
Beck Bennett
I love that accent.
Brittany Broski
Flared up.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Dallas hat. That's. That's Tex Mex.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
And so were you bit? Did you grow up that?
Brittany Broski
Oh, 100%.
Kyle Mo
What was your. Was your typical order? Fajitas.
Brittany Broski
It's going to be chicken fajitas or I'll do just chips and salsa. If I'm feeling very thin, very small.
Beck Bennett
I would adjust that.
Brittany Broski
Just chips and salsa.
Kyle Mo
There was definitely a moment in my 20s where it's just like, I'm gonna go to a Mexican bar restaurant and I'm just gonna eat chips and salsa, and that will be. That might be my entire day.
Brittany Broski
It really is. Maybe a margarita.
Beck Bennett
That is a full meal.
Brittany Broski
It is.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. People have this thing where, like, they. They do this thing where they're like, oh, man, I ate too many chips and I'm too Hungry for my meal.
Brittany Broski
Shut the up.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, they do that. I swear to God.
Brittany Broski
Who are they?
Beck Bennett
I don't know. Same people who fill up on bread. But anyway, yeah, they need to grow up. They really do need to grow up.
Brittany Broski
Natural selection's coming for them.
Beck Bennett
It really is. I remember snack.
Kyle Mo
It's just a great snack.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, it really is a great snack. It's just tortillas cut up and put in the fryer.
Brittany Broski
Now, when I learned that. That four tortilla chips is one tortilla. Hey. I feel like a big fat monster.
Beck Bennett
Absolutely.
Brittany Broski
I had about 800.
Kyle Mo
What about you? I was going to ask you what's. What do you. What are you feeling on Instagram these days?
Brittany Broski
Oh, it's horrifying. A lot of asmr. Are you guys into asmr?
Beck Bennett
Oh, sure.
Kyle Mo
Into it. I mean, like, aware of it. I don't know. I don't seek it out.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. Either.
Kyle Mo
It's too me. Okay. Yeah. Also, if you're in. I'm not. That's no judgment there.
Brittany Broski
I appreciate that.
Kyle Mo
And what is. And there must be a spectrum of what can be ASMR'd like you would think.
Brittany Broski
Really not.
Kyle Mo
And so what is the most typical thing you see tapping on anything like this?
Brittany Broski
100%.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Someone just came on the other side of the camera. I promise. It's not sexual, though. It's really not that sexual.
Beck Bennett
Oh, is that all it takes to make somebody come on the other side of the camera?
Brittany Broski
You guys have a storm. Something.
Beck Bennett
You like that? You like that? How does that feel?
Brittany Broski
The audio guy's just losing.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, he's creaming his jeans.
Kyle Mo
No, seriously, we do want to apologize. If anybody's driving and you've came too many times. This is something were not. We just became aware of this. We're not going to be doing this from. For. If we could be.
Beck Bennett
This could what? We could be known for making people cream while they're driving.
Kyle Mo
Okay. And I want to apologize again for Beck. If you just made somebody cream all over the place.
Brittany Broski
We're. Every day we're trying to be better. We live and learn.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. We really do. We really, really do.
Kyle Mo
How. How often do you find yourself. Okay. How often do you find yourself in the hot seat being interviewed?
Brittany Broski
You know, usually I'm the interviewer.
Beck Bennett
Usually you're the unit.
Brittany Broski
Really? I'm very uncomfortable.
Kyle Mo
You're doing well.
Beck Bennett
You're.
Kyle Mo
We're not great at it, but you're doing incredibly. Just so you're.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Thank you.
Kyle Mo
Because I was wondering. Because I was like I bet when people do interview, I bet you. I bet the kombucha thing is something that is often asked about. Is it accurate and are you over talking about it?
Brittany Broski
Very.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, but we can, you know, we can talk about how you're over talking about it.
Kyle Mo
That's more interesting.
Brittany Broski
That's a great idea.
Kyle Mo
How many times do you think you've spoken about it?
Brittany Broski
I think the Romans used to say ad nauseam.
Kyle Mo
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Brittany Broski
I honestly, it's more funny now because it feels like a lifetime ago. I mean, I'm sure yalls YouTube, it feels like a hundred lifetimes ago of that was a version of me. But now it's like I've done so many other things that are cooler and I think funnier, you know?
Beck Bennett
Much funnier.
Brittany Broski
Latch onto that. And it's like, yeah, I've come around.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, yeah. Luckily you had a lot more in the tank. You know what I mean? That was just the tip of the iceberg.
Kyle Mo
How much music have you put in?
Brittany Broski
Two songs and one Harry Styles cover.
Kyle Mo
Yes.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. So three and what?
Beck Bennett
I listened to your song. Yes. So great.
Kyle Mo
I've not heard the Harry Styles cover yet. I apologize.
Brittany Broski
It was fun. I had. Y' all know Pentatonix.
Beck Bennett
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Kyle Mo
Acapella.
Brittany Broski
Acapella, yes. Scott from Pentatonix arranged that. Oh, very good. Percussive instinct there.
Beck Bennett
Really good.
Kyle Mo
No, I'm sorry. I was trying to make people come while you were talking.
Beck Bennett
Just taking a break. So we have to. This is our podcast. This is what we do.
Brittany Broski
We gotta keep it every 15 minutes.
Kyle Mo
You gotta keep that. He produced. Oh, that's cool. How did you link up with him?
Brittany Broski
Oh, he's gay.
Beck Bennett
Oh, so you just leak. Okay, so you just are able to link up with anybody who's gay.
Brittany Broski
It's like an echolocation, like sonar with bats. It's like I am in a room and the gay people are like, she's here. So that's how it was.
Beck Bennett
Okay. And have you always been connected to gay people?
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
That's great. Yeah. And, well, what. What's that look?
Brittany Broski
It's Pride month.
Beck Bennett
It's Pride Month.
Kyle Mo
Well, we don't know when this is. Yeah, it is currently. That's true.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
It should be pride. It should be a pride lifetime, if you ask me.
Beck Bennett
I've always been connected to gay people. What? And straight people. It's all. It's. I don't see. Yeah, it's all good. Now you're looking at me in a way where I feel Like I'm in a. Digging myself into a hole.
Brittany Broski
What's your favorite gay media.
Beck Bennett
Probably music. Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Big on music.
Beck Bennett
Love gay music.
Brittany Broski
Love, love, love.
Beck Bennett
What was the.
Kyle Mo
How do you. What was the production? How was Scott as a producer? Were you comfortable? Were you nervous? What is your singing background?
Brittany Broski
A lot of church trauma. I don't know if you guys are rocking with that.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, not trauma, but sure. I was an altar boy growing up, but I never got touched. No trauma.
Brittany Broski
You were the lucky ones.
Beck Bennett
I was the lucky one.
Kyle Mo
Okay.
Beck Bennett
I had a fully awesome experience. It was amazing.
Brittany Broski
Well, it was great for me.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Because I was. Because I was touching him. Yeah. I was like, gotcha. Exactly. Yeah. Before you get me.
Kyle Mo
Yeah. Production must have been crazy besides me.
Beck Bennett
Jerking up my pastry.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, the. The process is great if you can stomach being around the gay people. To me, I like them. I really do like them, so I like working with them. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Same feel. I feel the same way.
Brittany Broski
He's really great. He's. He got the vision where I was like, I want to make it this really almost scary, brooding. If Hosier saying Harry Styles. And he was like, got it and totally arranged it. He's a super genius. It's kind of scary.
Beck Bennett
Cool.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Do you know what we're trying to do here?
Brittany Broski
I wish you'd tell me.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, we are trying to figure out.
Kyle Mo
Well, we're trying. We're trying to make a podcast.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
And we don't know. Yeah, we would love it. And I'm sure you don't tell us, but you were probably asked to come up with a prompt. Right? We. I don't want the fourth wall.
Brittany Broski
I was asked.
Kyle Mo
Oh, yeah.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
They.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. You doing all right? The whole thing fell apart.
Brittany Broski
Yes, I was asked. I have a topic.
Beck Bennett
Okay, great. And don't tell us yet, but, I.
Kyle Mo
Mean, we're still learning. This is probably episode 6 ish or something. I'd like to think we've maybe gotten better.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. I really don't know. It's really not for me to say. Yeah, I'm gonna say not. I'm gonna say I do have podcasts.
Kyle Mo
How many episodes have you recorded at this point?
Brittany Broski
Christ. About way too many. Probably like 90, 100.
Beck Bennett
And you're flying solo.
Brittany Broski
I'm doing solo. I'm doing four white walls.
Beck Bennett
Just me and the whole time.
Kyle Mo
You don't have a guest.
Brittany Broski
I don't have a producer. It's me.
Beck Bennett
You don't have a producer?
Brittany Broski
No, I'm doing record. Record. What's up, you guys? That's me.
Kyle Mo
How long is an episode?
Brittany Broski
An hour.
Beck Bennett
It's incredible. I've seen segments that are like, just were fantastic all the way through, but I'm like, are you that way?
Brittany Broski
The whole hour it goes in and out. Sometimes I'm doing character work, sometimes I'm monologuing about nothing.
Beck Bennett
Sure.
Brittany Broski
And then sometimes if I'm having like a super hyper fixation, I have to talk about it for a second. It was. I was very sexually attracted to an animated character from the Call of Duty video game.
Beck Bennett
Oh, wow.
Brittany Broski
Had to talk about that on the podcast.
Kyle Mo
Are you a gamer?
Brittany Broski
No.
Beck Bennett
How'd you. How'd you come to meet this person?
Brittany Broski
TikTok.gov oh.gov.gov It's a different website.
Beck Bennett
Oh, damn, that's cool. Gotta get in there.
Kyle Mo
So you're really like kind of. Yeah. I think we need to know a lot of this stuff.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, it's important now.
Beck Bennett
When did you move to Los Angeles?
Brittany Broski
I moved to Los Angeles late 2019, right before Mrs. Pandemic. So this version of LA that I feel like a lot of people, it's like, it's not the same la. I never knew it.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
So it's kind of. It's weird, right?
Kyle Mo
I didn't even know that people were saying that.
Brittany Broski
The people are talking. That's what they're saying.
Kyle Mo
And what do they miss?
Brittany Broski
Like, I guess the culture was different. A bunch of famous places shut down. The demographic of people that goes to these places are. It's different. I don't know.
Kyle Mo
So what is your take on the la?
Brittany Broski
You know, LA to me is like a necessary evil. Like I gotta be here. And it's. There's so many fun people here, hoping to meet some someday. You guys are okay?
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
But you know, we growing.
Beck Bennett
I swear, we get. We grow on you. Like the sword. Yeah. We latch on. We don't let go.
Brittany Broski
But it's. It's been a lot of fun because I've come to find friend groups. I went to Texas A M, which is a really Southern school.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
There's a bunch of SEC friends I have here that just went to like Alabama, Georgia, so what a random group to have out here. And then I've met some people through, you know, whatever the hell job I do that are in a similar position. That there's like. It's like a co worker vibe. It's really nice actually, because it's hard to find normal people.
Beck Bennett
It is, it is. You gotta find your.
Kyle Mo
Here's my take on. Because I feel like the conversation. I have found myself in quite a bit is LA versus New York 100%.
Beck Bennett
It'll never end. You'll have. You'll have that conversation.
Kyle Mo
This is my thought, and forgive me if I've ever said this on this podcast.
Beck Bennett
Yes. Here we go.
Kyle Mo
Here I go. I think I love Los Angeles, and Beck and I went to college together here in Los Angeles. We met.
Brittany Broski
Amazing.
Kyle Mo
In the fall of 2003. I'm thinking probably September.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, me too.
Brittany Broski
Anniversary's coming up. No.
Beck Bennett
Pretty cool.
Kyle Mo
That's true. Is that 22. 22 years?
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Wow.
Beck Bennett
Got to be.
Brittany Broski
It's really romantic.
Kyle Mo
I think that, like, because we went to college out here, like, it really helped to sort of transit. Once we started living in la, we already had, like, a friend group. We knew people. Right. But I think Los Angeles is a very difficult place to move to if you don't have some sort of home base or people.
Brittany Broski
I agree.
Kyle Mo
It's difficult to meet people here.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. There's no community until you find it.
Beck Bennett
You got to find it. And New York City, it's not built in.
Brittany Broski
I agree.
Kyle Mo
In New York, you can, like, walk out of your apartment and there's like a bar across the street, and pretty much immediately people are willing to talk to you in a way that I feel like they're not necessarily willing to talk to you out here.
Beck Bennett
True, true, true, true. People be in their bubbles. People be in their cars.
Kyle Mo
But it sounds like what you're saying is like, oh, incidentally, some folks from your college days are here, so that worked out nicely. And I bet you also get to meet other kind of LA folks that are sort of on the same, like, on an industry path that also exist.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. It's this weird unspoken thing that I never even considered of, like, you're going to meet a lot of friends doing, you know, this is a job, like, doing the job that are normal and fun to be around. So, yeah, that's the goal. Hoping to find some people that are straight that are fun to be around soon. Because all my friends are gay.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
It's just really.
Beck Bennett
You got to.
Kyle Mo
I have known back for a while. This dude is. Dude, he's funny.
Beck Bennett
Yep.
Kyle Mo
He's actually a decent cook.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Guy can sing.
Brittany Broski
Okay.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
He can act the hell out of a script.
Beck Bennett
Thank you, brother. You too.
Kyle Mo
And he. He just really does his best and he's trying and, like, you know, even, like, yeah, certainly it's not. It's not a situation where it's like, oh, I can count on him, right?
Beck Bennett
No way.
Kyle Mo
But he is the effort Is so incredible.
Brittany Broski
Now he is gonna.
Beck Bennett
I'm sweating. I'm, like, trying so hard, and I miss the mark.
Brittany Broski
Well, I was just gonna say you are gonna miss the mark. Okay. And we'll love you through it.
Beck Bennett
Thank you so much.
Brittany Broski
You're welcome.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. I really appreciate you guys talking me up and getting me so hyped and feeling good about myself. And I appreciate you guys. You guys are awesome, too. You guys are always crushing it.
Brittany Broski
Wow.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Can you say three nice things about him really quick for me?
Beck Bennett
Curly hair, long legs, and full beard.
Kyle Mo
Curly hair. Long. Do I have. Do I have long legs?
Beck Bennett
Don't think so.
Brittany Broski
I would not.
Beck Bennett
I was just. I was the first thing that came to mind. Well, you were. You were shooting him out earlier. You just kind of doing this thing where he's kind of shooting them out.
Kyle Mo
I'll take, you know, the curly hair thing. I'm. I'm excited about, so I don't.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Set you apart.
Beck Bennett
Great friend.
Brittany Broski
Cool.
Beck Bennett
And incredible drawer. Incredible creative force that is a hidden. Can't. Can't stop. It's always in him. It's. It's.
Kyle Mo
Do you draw?
Brittany Broski
I. I would like to think I could, but I can't. Are you doing, like, comic comics? Like, cartoons?
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Like, little. Like, little drawings of, like, little creatures and people and stuff?
Kyle Mo
Yeah, I do a lot of, like, critter. Yeah.
Beck Bennett
Little critters.
Kyle Mo
I'm always drawing my critters.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, I was. I was. He used to draw, like, critters on our, like, comedy group posters, and I was, like, looking at one yesterday, and it. They were. They're really incredible. There was, like. Now I can't remember any of them at all, but it'd be, like, a giraffe with, like, a space outfit, and then like, a, you know, like a bird with a shirt that says, like, like, bird, Bird butt. Or, like, air patrol. Or, like. Yeah, like a little.
Kyle Mo
Maybe a bird or like a cat with a shirt that says dogs on it.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
That is fucking crazy.
Beck Bennett
That's like, next level shit like that you never even thought. You even thought of.
Brittany Broski
Well, it's real. Comedy's happening in this room, and I think we should acknowledge it. You should make one that's like a cat that says NYPD on it, and that's, like, a commentary.
Kyle Mo
Wait, NY could it be NY Not a pig.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
New York Pussy Department. Because it's a cat.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Nypd.
Kyle Mo
Did anyone hear the NYPERD thing?
Beck Bennett
I can't. I know. I can't hear it. I can't. I Can't hear it.
Kyle Mo
Nobody heard that one.
Beck Bennett
No. It's all good, though.
Brittany Broski
We could rewind the tape maybe.
Kyle Mo
Yeah, it's all good. We don't need to do the NYPR D thing.
Beck Bennett
It's all good now. Okay. I was. I was about to talk about our potential podcast situation, but now you. Before we do. Brittany, you do a lot of. You do a lot of things. I do. You are multi. Multi hyphenate.
Brittany Broski
Thank you.
Beck Bennett
If you could do, like, would you. Do you want to do a lot? Like, do you. Or would you, like. If you could focus on one thing and just do one thing, or do you like having all, like, just a bunch of things that you're, you know.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, it's definitely. And let me interrupt you. It's definitely more fun to do a lot of different things.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Just to, like, try it. And even if it sucks, it's like, well, I tried.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
I think my schedule would be a lot easier to handle if it was just the one thing. I'm sure you guys agree.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
But no, I like doing it all.
Beck Bennett
I do, too.
Kyle Mo
Yeah. What time. At what time do you wake up? And what time are you starting to work? What time do you clock out?
Brittany Broski
I'd like to rewind and go. Start with.
Beck Bennett
I go to bed at 4:00am that's awesome.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. That's the healthiest habit I have.
Kyle Mo
Because. Because of. Because of work or. Because, like, that's just naturally. When you like to go to sleep, it's just kind of partying or.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, I pee a lot. I get up to pee a lot. Don't really sleep well. 4am is just kind of when my body's like, all right, fine.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
And then that alarm goes off at about 8, and I'm like, snooze till 10.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Gotta do some zooms.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
And then, yeah, I'm going to bed at 4, so I don't really sleep that well. Sometimes I'll nap during the day, and then that makes me feel like a piece of shit. It's like, why are you napping?
Beck Bennett
No, but that's actually. That's taking care of yourself.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. That's important.
Kyle Mo
I wish I could nap. My wife naps well.
Brittany Broski
Ooh. Like a don't bother her type of nap.
Kyle Mo
More just that, like, if I try to do. I just can't do. I get too antsy. I'm just like. I'll, like, close my eyes, and then I'll think about something I could be doing. And then by that point, it's like, all right, I'm just going to get up and do it.
Brittany Broski
Interesting. Is that.
Kyle Mo
Isn't that really, really interesting?
Brittany Broski
That's like a personality type.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
That's sort of the thing that our listeners love to hear.
Beck Bennett
Kyle just can't sit still.
Kyle Mo
It's true. I. Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Bro is nervous.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
All the time.
Beck Bennett
Freaking nervous.
Kyle Mo
What you're talking about Britney.
Beck Bennett
He goes. Later on, he's like, oh, no, no, no, no. I got to do. I got.
Kyle Mo
This is great. Let's. What do we. This is great.
Brittany Broski
No, it's. It's good.
Beck Bennett
Okay. Okay.
Kyle Mo
What do you think? What do you think we should make a podcast about?
Brittany Broski
Okay. Are you ready for my pit? I don't know if the PowerPoint came, but I had a whole presentation.
Kyle Mo
Really?
Brittany Broski
I would like our podcast or your podcast.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, it could be ours.
Brittany Broski
Ours.
Kyle Mo
It could be ours.
Brittany Broski
We're looking for a third.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Our podcast to be about ghosts.
Beck Bennett
Great.
Brittany Broski
The paranormal.
Beck Bennett
That's fantastic. Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Thoughts on that?
Kyle Mo
A lot of. Well, we always. Because we're new at this, we're always like, okay. Because we're gonna. We're gonna fully do the ghost podcast.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. We're gonna go into another studio.
Kyle Mo
Before we go onto the ghost podcast. You know what I mean? We don't know. We're figuring this out right now.
Brittany Broski
Okay.
Kyle Mo
With. In front of you. But I guess we could speak very generically about ghosts.
Beck Bennett
Sure. Or we could just make it part of the podcast.
Brittany Broski
That's a great.
Beck Bennett
I don't know.
Kyle Mo
I'm start designing our little podcast logo.
Brittany Broski
Okay.
Beck Bennett
Now, I. So I could. The question I would ask is why. Why ghosts? Was there a reason you chose ghosts today?
Brittany Broski
There's a backstory.
Beck Bennett
Okay. And we might even get into this in the next podcast as well. But let's hear the backstory.
Brittany Broski
I think it's more. It's suited for here. My mother is a ghost hunter.
Beck Bennett
Wow.
Brittany Broski
And that's not a. I mean, I. I mean, it writes itself.
Beck Bennett
So I think that's enough of a reason. Then we can take that into the podcast.
Brittany Broski
Sure.
Kyle Mo
That's incredible.
Beck Bennett
And now. I mean. Yeah, we'll talk about it in the podcast. Podcast. But she's a ghost hunter.
Brittany Broski
She's actually doing ghost hunting right now in this moment.
Kyle Mo
She's hunting.
Beck Bennett
Is it documented? Is it on TV or YouTube or anything like that? Or it's just full on. Not for entertainment, just full on. Genuine ghost hunting. Love of the game and a hobby or a profession. She's got to be getting paid ghosts pair.
Brittany Broski
She would like to be paid for it. And if the Ghosts have Venmo, PayPal, whatever. I'm sure she would be accepting. She does pro bono work. She's part of the. And this is real. I don't know how legitimate it is, but it is real. The Southeastern Texas Paranormal Research Team. She is a part of it. And it's her and some of her buddies who are sensitive, who go in to the supernatural. To the supernatural, who go into these buildings and are like, there used to be a wall here.
Beck Bennett
Whoa.
Brittany Broski
Like, for real. Like, the energy's cold now.
Beck Bennett
Wow.
Kyle Mo
I hope I'm not. Again, I hope I'm not stealing away from all the great content we're gonna have on the podcast.
Beck Bennett
Sure.
Kyle Mo
But I am curious how long, in terms of your relationship, how long your mom has been doing this that you're aware of? And also that sort of sensitivity to like, okay, like, I feel like there used to be a wall here. Like.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Did you ever feel that in other way? Like, was that ever. Was that ever manifested? Another, like. I feel like you want. We should have. You should have a salami sandwich in your lunch.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. So as like a mother, was she using those paranormal sensitivities?
Brittany Broski
No, not really. And now I'm kind of like the ghost freaking get it. And I don't. Like, that's such a cool power. And like. Yeah.
Beck Bennett
But also, like, yeah, she could have been like, you should go to school today. Or like, nothing that.
Brittany Broski
No, nothing like that.
Beck Bennett
Not as a mother. She'd be like, you have to go to school today.
Brittany Broski
No, she wasn't looking out for me as a mother.
Beck Bennett
She. Well, she's hunting ghosts. You can't be a mother and hunt ghosts.
Brittany Broski
You can't. You gotta pick.
Beck Bennett
But obviously. But it's obviously a higher calling to hunt ghosts, so you gotta let her do her thing. And you got to. And you got a mother yourself.
Brittany Broski
And I did.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
And I only turned out a little bit. Not okay. Mostly I'm okay.
Beck Bennett
You just have a little trouble sleeping.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, I just. My bladder is probably infected by ghosts. By ghosts.
Kyle Mo
Not her fault.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, not her fault.
Brittany Broski
Not her fault.
Kyle Mo
You know, you said. You said our podcast. Do you want to. Do you want this to be our podcast? Should this be Beck and Kyle and Brittany, like a three way co host?
Brittany Broski
I think I just want you to draw me as a cartoon. And then I'll do one episode, then I'll bounce.
Beck Bennett
Okay. That can be Britney.
Kyle Mo
Well, I did. I already drew a ghost.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. So that can be Britney.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
And just give her some. Put some glasses on the ghost Head.
Kyle Mo
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Give it some, like, curtain bangs.
Beck Bennett
He's going. He's just gonna do. He's gonna start from.
Brittany Broski
Really stunning. Yeah. The three of us.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
You guys remember how we used to talk?
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, we glasses up here, so. Okay. We're all. We're all hosts. We're co hosts. And yeah, it probably won't look a whole lot different than if you were our guest on this podcast that we're about to do that we have no idea how to do.
Brittany Broski
It's confusing.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Really, what we're trying to see is, does this work? Is this a good fit for our podcast? Moving forward, the Beck and Kyle podcast with Brittney Broski.
Brittany Broski
Thank you so much.
Beck Bennett
So, like, maybe you'll be our perfect guest moving forward, or maybe you'll be our co host and we'll make some more time in your schedule for another podcast.
Brittany Broski
I'm down. I'm about 20 minutes from here, so you guys just let me know and.
Beck Bennett
Oh, shit, sorry.
Kyle Mo
You remember when I was tapping earlier? I know. I'm always trying to get people to come, right?
Beck Bennett
Yeah, like that. That would be awesome, dude. That's how. That's how we get a real listen.
Kyle Mo
Well, we'll be right back with our brand new podcast, Ghosts. What's up, everybody? I'm Kyle and I'm. And of course this is.
Brittany Broski
I'm Britney.
Beck Bennett
Yes.
Kyle Mo
And you. Euro.
Brittany Broski
You're a.
Beck Bennett
You're. You're. You're a Europe.
Kyle Mo
You're one of our who listeners. So you know what you're listening to. It's Ghosts, the podcast.
Beck Bennett
That's what it's all about. You told us that's what to talk.
Kyle Mo
About with Beck and Kyle and Britney Brosi.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. So that was me filling in.
Brittany Broski
Incredible.
Kyle Mo
We are back. Happy hauntings, everybody.
Beck Bennett
Happy hauntings. Yes. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Okay, let's get. Let's get into it.
Beck Bennett
All right, Ghoul.
Kyle Mo
Yeah, I'm feeling ghoul and how. And I love living on the west coast Ghost. And I got the spirit and you guys just make me die.
Beck Bennett
And I'm a. I'm a hockey ghouly. I don't if that one. Sorry.
Kyle Mo
No, that's funny.
Brittany Broski
It was going up and then it kind of fl.
Beck Bennett
So it's kind of a hockey ghoulie. That's good.
Kyle Mo
It's good. Okay, let's.
Beck Bennett
Let's.
Kyle Mo
You know, most of our listeners probably already know this, but just as a. As. As a reminder, I'm curious where everybody on a scale of, oh, one specter to ten Specters.
Brittany Broski
Wow.
Kyle Mo
Where do you fall on your belief in ghosts?
Beck Bennett
I am going to go. Not just. I'm gonna go eight.
Brittany Broski
That's solid.
Beck Bennett
That's solid. Yeah. That's a B.
Brittany Broski
Okay. Yeah, that's a. That's a B.
Beck Bennett
And how about you?
Brittany Broski
I. I would go nine. Let's raise the stakes a bit. I mean, mother's a ghost hunter.
Kyle Mo
Yeah, but you could also be. You could be like, mom's doing that thing, but you're. You're. That means you're. You're a supporter.
Brittany Broski
I'm a supporter. I would like to believe. But I'm also like, don't try it with me.
Kyle Mo
You're a little suspect.
Brittany Broski
I'm a little. Yeah. Because here's the thing. I. I get it, right? If you're hanging around, life's pretty cool. I would want to hang around, too. But not in my house that I rent, that I pay money to live in. You know, I don't want that necessarily where I'm sleeping.
Kyle Mo
Yes.
Brittany Broski
So.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. So. And, like, I just imagine, you know, a lot of people, like, their parents come to check out where they're living, and they're kind of like, oh, interesting. Like, oh, I don't like this couch. Or like, this is a bad neighborhood. What? They, like, have their little comments about.
Brittany Broski
Where you, like, bitch mom moment.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Bitch mom moment. But, like, not. Not like, you know, not. Yeah, yeah. Bitch mom moment. Exactly. So. So. But, like, if your mom's like, if your mom is a ghost hunter, then, like, she's. She coming in being like, oh, somebody got their head blown off right over there in that corner.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
And that guy was. Jerk. Was jerking off and had a heart attack and dying over there. And then. And then there's this other guy, you know, like, talking about all these dead guys in your house. And, like, did she ever do that? Your mom.
Kyle Mo
And my bitch mom does do that.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
By the way, I was. I was gonna say eight specters.
Brittany Broski
Thank you for letting us know.
Beck Bennett
Thank you for letting us know. Why. Okay, so. Oh, I guess we'll go to that. So why, Inspectors G. Okay. You're not going to tell.
Kyle Mo
We're all. Yeah, we.
Brittany Broski
We're.
Kyle Mo
We're believers.
Beck Bennett
We're believers.
Kyle Mo
I have. Okay. I. I would say I have one quasi experience.
Brittany Broski
Great word. Preface.
Kyle Mo
And I've. I've seen video that, to me, was pretty convincing.
Beck Bennett
Sure.
Kyle Mo
But the. And I have family members who have described Anna and former lovers.
Brittany Broski
Hey.
Kyle Mo
Who have described their folks, who have described encounters. And they. They seem believable. The One. The only one that I could say, like, okay, this happened to me was I was in Savannah, Georgia.
Brittany Broski
Very haunted city.
Beck Bennett
Yes, yes.
Kyle Mo
With my wife. And we went on a ghost tour.
Brittany Broski
Yes.
Kyle Mo
And we went into a haunted house, or a house that is claimed to be haunted.
Beck Bennett
Okay, well, then you're probably gonna have a ghost experience. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
You would. You would hope. You would hope.
Brittany Broski
It could be, you know, consumerism at its best, where they're propping up and, you know, you gotta go in with a genuine heart.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Yeah. That's the only way. The ghost.
Kyle Mo
And that is the. And that is something we. We take very seriously on ghosts.
Beck Bennett
Genuine hearts.
Brittany Broski
Genuine.
Kyle Mo
We were in a house, and maybe our tour guide said something effective, like, take a photo while you're in here. There's a lot of activity.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
So I kind of went off. I was like. And, you know, the phone doesn't really make that noise.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, yeah.
Brittany Broski
Ultimately it doesn't.
Kyle Mo
But, you know, like, I'm, like, kind of, like, flipping through them as I. As I'm doing them. There's nothing there.
Beck Bennett
Right.
Kyle Mo
There's no ghosts. Later that night, we're hanging out at the. At one of the bars at the local haunt, if you will. I love it.
Beck Bennett
I love that. That's awesome. Thank you.
Kyle Mo
Oh, thanks. Thank you.
Beck Bennett
That was a goolie comment. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Really?
Beck Bennett
Really?
Kyle Mo
What do you mean?
Brittany Broski
It's giving. Boo.
Beck Bennett
It's good.
Kyle Mo
And we're like. I don't know if we were talking to somebody about our encounter or whatever, but I start flipping through these photos. Soon as I. As soon as I go into my phone to go into the photos I've taken, as soon as I click on one of these from the room.
Beck Bennett
Mm.
Kyle Mo
The phone starts fritzing out.
Beck Bennett
It's making that noise.
Kyle Mo
It's not making the noise. Okay. But it's. But it's like, kind of like blinking on and off. Okay. Okay, fine. So I. Whatever. I go to something else. Oh, yeah. Turn off the phone. Turn it on again. Try to access those photos again.
Brittany Broski
What's your cyborg eye like?
Kyle Mo
Anytime I try to look at the photos, the phone won't let me look at them.
Beck Bennett
Really? So then even to this day, I.
Kyle Mo
You know, I. I'd have to. You'd have to give me a moment to be able to look, to be able to find them. But we could find.
Beck Bennett
And you pulled them up and they started going, okay. The whole studio went shut down, and the door was locked.
Brittany Broski
You know, we all died.
Kyle Mo
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
And we all died. And all the ghosts just ripped our insides out that be like, that's how we go. That's how you go. And then.
Kyle Mo
And Captain Kirk is there, and he's like, literally.
Beck Bennett
He's literally there, and he's like, like, all aboard.
Kyle Mo
We got to find these ghosts. Okay, you guys talk about yourself. I'll see if I can find the photos.
Beck Bennett
Have you had an encounter, Brittany?
Brittany Broski
I. Yes and no.
Beck Bennett
Okay.
Brittany Broski
Because part of it is, of course, my mother's involved, so I don't know, because she uses. They're called divining rods. Have you ever seen these?
Beck Bennett
No. Well, I mean, I just come to. I think of the Scientology rods that they hold.
Brittany Broski
Oh, are they similar?
Beck Bennett
They call them cans. I don't know. That's all I know that, like, I.
Brittany Broski
Need to see a photo.
Beck Bennett
I think they're. They're attached to something and they get some sort of heart rate.
Brittany Broski
Oh, no.
Beck Bennett
Type thing.
Brittany Broski
No, not the same thing. These are like. I mean, 18th century divening rods where they're copper rods that cross when you walk over. Like, it's like, about electromagnetic frequency, you something, and they're loose in their little. Like, you hold it like this, and then they're out like this, and they cross. Supposedly when a spirit responds positively to something. And so she white knuckles these things, and we're in the room, we're in wherever we are, and she goes, are you here? And it crosses, right?
Beck Bennett
And I'm like, you're crossing your chair hands are crossing, right? Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
Brittany Broski
Well, that's what I'm thinking. I'm like, you're leaning your.
Kyle Mo
Which is sort of like. Isn't that classic, like, kind of Ouija behavior, too? You're moving it.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, it's very Ouija behavior.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, very Ouija.
Brittany Broski
But it is weird in the moment, I will admit, when you're asking a question and you can kind of see it, like, she'll be like, cross the rods if you're 9, 10, 11, and it'll cross. And I'm like, see, I don't. I don't know about all that. There was one. We went on an expedition, and she brought all her equipment. She's got EMF detectors. She's got these sort of like. It's radios that. Who knows?
Beck Bennett
I don't know any of this crap.
Brittany Broski
It's all the stuff you see on tv. She's got all the equipment from those ghost hunting shows.
Kyle Mo
Does she have, though? Because this is the one I've seen either. I've maybe. I heard it described, and then I maybe even saw it in person, but it's like. Forgive me if you just said this, but it's like a. It's. It goes off of radio frequencies and it'll go. You, like, are flipping through radio frequency. Hello.
Brittany Broski
So you're help me.
Kyle Mo
Yeah, exactly.
Beck Bennett
And that's what you hear.
Brittany Broski
Well, she uses that. And I'm like, turn that off. Because it's an app. It's not like actual. Oh, I've seen some of them.
Kyle Mo
I've seen one program.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, the ghosts are programmed in.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, they're programmed in. And she's like, they're trying to get.
Kyle Mo
Mom subscribe for three more months.
Brittany Broski
But, yeah, we've done that. And she was able to get a sort of story from this spirit that she was communicating with, that it was a young girl that had died in this house and she just was trying to play and she's looking for her brother and all this stuff. Well, come to find out, we checked the historical records of. It was downtown Spring, Texas, if you've ever been, and very haunted place. And there was a historical record of a little girl who died in that neighborhood, who was chasing her brother, and she fell, hit her head on a rock, and now she's trapped.
Kyle Mo
That makes me a believer.
Brittany Broski
I'm saying that's eight out of ten.
Kyle Mo
Well, you said nine.
Brittany Broski
Oh, I did say nine, you guys.
Kyle Mo
But now you're. But you're bumping me up.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, okay. Okay, now.
Beck Bennett
Now are we sure your mom didn't do the research before now?
Brittany Broski
See, that's my question. I don't think my mom's a damn liar.
Beck Bennett
Okay? Yeah, and I believe you there. I believe you there because you would call her out if she was.
Brittany Broski
I would.
Beck Bennett
Mom, I'm gonna take you down. Was there. Has she always been doing this? Has she always been ghost hunting? Or was there a moment when in your life that you can remember it came. Started happening?
Brittany Broski
Yeah, it was about 15 years ago. Like, I was probably early high school. And she was like, I am living as a sensitive woman. And I said, had you heard that phrase before? A sensitive. No. Yeah, I know, like clairvoyant. But that's like being psychic. She's like, I see things that happened that most people can't. And I was like, what do you mean by that?
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Up to that point, you'd never heard her say anything like that?
Brittany Broski
No, no, no, no.
Beck Bennett
And. And was. But she. She was like, was that hard for you at all? Or was it like, okay, cool. Mom's got this new thing she's believing in, you know, like friends coming around the house. Were you, like, like, embarrassed or, like.
Brittany Broski
I was like, why couldn't it have been, like, painting with a twist was your hobby. Why is it ghost hunting? You know, why. Why can't it just be wine?
Beck Bennett
And, I mean, it is very. At least right now, being out of the house. I don't know. It's a very fun thing, I would imagine, to tell people now.
Brittany Broski
Yes. And I just ghost podcasts. On the ghost podcast. I knew I had to come here to tell my story.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Yeah.
Brittany Broski
She. She goes on these expeditions because people invite her. They're like. And it's always abandoned hospitals, abandoned asylums, wherever. And she's like, get me the hell in there. And she does investigations. And here's the thing, right? Like, you do so many investigations. I would like to see some evidence. And she encourages that, too. She used to give tours of cities and whatever, like a walking ghost tour. And she would always encourage people to take photos with the flash on and do live photos so you can watch them back on.
Kyle Mo
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Beck Bennett
And that sounded like a ghost right there.
Brittany Broski
Just peed a little bit in this chair.
Beck Bennett
Who was that? Who was that?
Brittany Broski
Oh, my God.
Beck Bennett
That was Ally.
Kyle Mo
No, that's. That's good. We want to know. Yeah, I will say, I. I do have a ghost exclusive right now.
Beck Bennett
Scary. Yeah. What happened?
Brittany Broski
Can we pay them?
Kyle Mo
Yeah. How should I do this? What's the best way to present this guy?
Brittany Broski
I'm so excited.
Kyle Mo
Is it ghosts? Should I just come up here with.
Beck Bennett
I mean, I want to see it, too. So maybe you hold it up and we zoom in on a cat. I don't know. I don't know. Okay. Okay, Here we go.
Brittany Broski
And put it up here.
Beck Bennett
I mean, for the listeners.
Brittany Broski
Listeners.
Kyle Mo
Okay.
Beck Bennett
Okay. I'm gonna.
Kyle Mo
I'm bring up a picture that is not one of the pictures.
Beck Bennett
Okay. Okay. And that's coming up just fine.
Kyle Mo
Okay. Are you seeing this right now?
Beck Bennett
Okay. I'm seeing it.
Brittany Broski
Zero people can see it. Absolutely zero.
Kyle Mo
All right.
Beck Bennett
Everybody's listening. This is a podcast. Can everybody see it?
Brittany Broski
And everyone go ahead and look at.
Kyle Mo
Your screens like some sort of lawn gnome, maybe.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Okay. And that's not the ghost photo.
Kyle Mo
Once we start swiping, we're gonna see. We're gonna go through the house.
Beck Bennett
Okay.
Kyle Mo
We're gonna go through the house.
Beck Bennett
We're going into the ghost house. Okay.
Brittany Broski
Put your mic in front of you.
Beck Bennett
All right. You were just a ghost because you were just disappearing.
Kyle Mo
That's great.
Brittany Broski
I'd like to point out really quick that the back of Kyle's shirt says Kyle just had.
Beck Bennett
There it is.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, there it is. Thank you.
Beck Bennett
Okay. We definitely help.
Kyle Mo
Okay, so just a quick recap. This is a ghost exclusive. We're going to flip through these photos.
Brittany Broski
It went dark.
Kyle Mo
Sorry, sorry, sorry.
Brittany Broski
Thank you.
Beck Bennett
It could have been the ghost.
Kyle Mo
Thank you. Let me know. Let me. That could have been the ghost. Okay. Once I swipe this way, we're going to start entering the house. We don't know what's going to happen if the phone starts flickering or starts making any sort of noise. Ladies and gentlemen, you have just seen proof of ghosts.
Beck Bennett
And our spectrum meters will go to 10. Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Oh, that's right. Someone's coming.
Beck Bennett
There you go.
Kyle Mo
Okay.
Beck Bennett
Oh, sorry.
Kyle Mo
We got this.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
First flip.
Beck Bennett
Oh, it's fine. Everything's normal. There's a.
Kyle Mo
Okay.
Beck Bennett
It's a house.
Kyle Mo
Everything we see maybe a shoulder. There seems to be a shoulder, but.
Beck Bennett
There'S a guy there with his sunglasses on his head just like Brittany. Okay.
Brittany Broski
Okay.
Kyle Mo
Parallel mirror. I think this was a scary mirror. Okay.
Beck Bennett
Okay. There's a chandelier there.
Kyle Mo
Nothing yet.
Beck Bennett
There's some curtains. Okay. Oh, there's some movement. There was some movement.
Kyle Mo
I'm just gonna go ahead and press. I'm gonna press the photo and see if we can get.
Beck Bennett
Well, somebody else taking a photo in your photo.
Brittany Broski
Incredible. Ghost has a photo.
Kyle Mo
Anybody? Did you guys see anything?
Beck Bennett
Nope.
Kyle Mo
Anything happening for you?
Brittany Broski
I'm looking at this from about 95.
Beck Bennett
Degrees angle of it.
Kyle Mo
Is everybody getting a better angle?
Beck Bennett
There you go.
Kyle Mo
Is everybody get. Is everybody getting a better angle?
Brittany Broski
Way better. Way better. Way better. Why aren't you just in the chair?
Beck Bennett
Yeah, why? Crouch down in front of it, fetal position. Because it would have been so much easier. Actually.
Kyle Mo
I could do it from the chair. Yeah.
Beck Bennett
I think the mic will be at the right level, and then you can hold the phone up and like. And we could all.
Kyle Mo
And you guys could see it. Yeah.
Beck Bennett
Okay, let's try it. Let's see it.
Brittany Broski
This is fine, though.
Kyle Mo
Okay. All right. So everybody, this is a ghost exclusive. I'm gonna go ahead and get back in the chair. We're not sure if the ghost is aware of this. We're. Go ahead and get back in the chair. We're going to do it very slowly. We don't know what the ghost. If this. If the ghost is aware.
Beck Bennett
Okay. And if there is a ghost here, give us a sign.
Brittany Broski
It's just Ally again. She's like.
Kyle Mo
I do see a little.
Beck Bennett
Oh, my God.
Brittany Broski
Dandruff.
Beck Bennett
Oh, I see that. That could have been a little ghost sign.
Kyle Mo
Okay.
Beck Bennett
Okay.
Kyle Mo
Okay. So we got. We got a live photo. Anything shifting seems pretty normal. Okay. Same thing.
Brittany Broski
Can I ask what the history. I'm so sorry.
Kyle Mo
Okay.
Beck Bennett
Okay, Wait.
Brittany Broski
Keep going.
Kyle Mo
Okay. Okay. I found it. I found it. I found it. I found it. I found it.
Beck Bennett
Okay, let me see.
Kyle Mo
Okay, watch this. Top corner. This top right corner. Okay.
Beck Bennett
Okay.
Kyle Mo
It's almost like there's a.
Beck Bennett
Let's see.
Kyle Mo
Okay, you ready?
Beck Bennett
I did see that. It kind of went.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. Can I say something?
Kyle Mo
Yes.
Brittany Broski
It might be someone else's flash.
Kyle Mo
Okay, we'll watch it again.
Brittany Broski
I'm just, you know, skeptic.
Kyle Mo
Because if it does, I mean, like, it's. Okay.
Beck Bennett
Let's see. Watch again. Top. Top of the corner. It just kind of. Yeah, it is kind of scary. That is something that looks like a ghost.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
This was a ghost exclusive.
Beck Bennett
Our spectrometers are now at 10.
Brittany Broski
I have complete chills all over my body, y'.
Beck Bennett
All. And I'm gonna give our audience some.
Kyle Mo
Chills and some taps.
Beck Bennett
Y' all believe in ghosts now? Yeah.
Kyle Mo
And does anyone. You want me to send this to.
Brittany Broski
You one more time for me?
Beck Bennett
Of course. What did you say?
Brittany Broski
One more time for me.
Kyle Mo
Should I send it to you?
Brittany Broski
Yeah, yeah. I'll give you, of course, my Gmail afterward.
Beck Bennett
I'd love. Honestly, I think that that should go online for the post for this episode.
Kyle Mo
Send it to the podcast group for the time I'm coming out of airplane mode immediately.
Beck Bennett
You don't have to send it right now, Kyle. We're in the podcast.
Kyle Mo
Well, I don't know if this will still. We don't know if. If the ghost will let it stay if I don't send it now.
Brittany Broski
He does have a history of technological issues. I will try to send it now.
Beck Bennett
I would. Sorry. Send it now.
Kyle Mo
Okay.
Beck Bennett
Oh, my God. That was a crazy ass episode.
Kyle Mo
Thanks. Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Holy shit.
Beck Bennett
Thanks to our guests.
Kyle Mo
Our co host.
Beck Bennett
Well, we're all guests and co hosts. You know what I mean? That's kind of just kind of the way I look at the world in this room.
Kyle Mo
We're all guests for now.
Beck Bennett
To this realm, boys and ghouls.
Brittany Broski
Hey.
Kyle Mo
I like that. If you do experience a haunting or if, like, you're somebody's bothering. Like a ghost is bothering you, you just say like there's. You could just say something like, please leave. You're not welcome here.
Beck Bennett
I kind of do that, actually, without knowing that that was a real thing.
Brittany Broski
Do you really?
Beck Bennett
I would, like, if I was scared, I'd kind Of be like, please, just not right now. I want to be left alone.
Kyle Mo
Please leave. I'd rather. Please.
Beck Bennett
I can't handle this right now. Like a very scared. Just. I don't want this.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. You know, that is. There's. There's weight to that. Just like. Guys, seriously, I really can't do. I have a lot on my plate right now. Yeah. And they'll be like, my fault.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
They're really understanding.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
I mean, they're. They're tortured, so. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Do you think they're stuck between our.
Brittany Broski
Yes.
Kyle Mo
Our existence. Our. Some are playing and like, what, like heaven or like the next level or like.
Brittany Broski
I think there's unfinished business. Yeah. That they have to like there's a residual energy here.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
And sometimes they're trapped in doing the same act over and over. Which would blow. Right?
Beck Bennett
Dude, that's why. So I'm a ghost.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
Stuck in the same loop every day, same thing type.
Brittany Broski
For real.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Sometimes I feel.
Brittany Broski
We would have to do the dishes.
Beck Bennett
I'd be like, yeah, I'm a dishes ghost. Basically every. Every couple days. Oh, oh, oh. This just came off.
Kyle Mo
This just the. Okay.
Beck Bennett
For people who are only listening. The head gum. The box on the mic just popped off.
Brittany Broski
Oh, my God.
Beck Bennett
When I said I was a ghost. So I'm sorry. To all the ghosts. I'm not an actual ghost. I was. I didn't mean.
Kyle Mo
If you're with us, please leave. Leave us alone.
Beck Bennett
Please leave us alone. I understand.
Kyle Mo
We understand that you might have some unfinished business. We support you and your unfinished business. But for the time being, we are trying to. We're trying to record a podcast.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. And I just want to. I feel like something that could be said to all our listeners right now is like if you have unfinished business. If you. If you died right now and you were like, I'd be. I'd be a ghost stuck here on this plane because I have unfinished business. Go take care of that business right now. So if you do die, then you won't be stuck here.
Kyle Mo
Yes.
Brittany Broski
Actually very good advice.
Kyle Mo
That's great advice.
Beck Bennett
You live the. Yes. Life. Like the Jim Carrey movie. Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Yes, man.
Beck Bennett
Yes man.
Kyle Mo
No, I think it's called yes Life.
Brittany Broski
I think it's called yes Life as well. You might be right.
Beck Bennett
Well, is there any other ghostly stuff that people need to get off their ghostly chests before we.
Kyle Mo
The sheets thing. It just ain't real.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Casper. You see Casper the friendly ghost. It's not a sheet. It's like he's actually. It's Ghost material. It's like.
Brittany Broski
I would like to say that. That. That substance in green goo. The green goo Ectoplasm.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
I'd like to know what it tastes like.
Beck Bennett
Oh, interesting. I feel like I may have had, like, a. A fake version of it on a birthday cake.
Brittany Broski
Sure.
Beck Bennett
But that's not the real stuff. I don't know.
Brittany Broski
It's got to be, like, a little sweet, right?
Beck Bennett
Yeah. And I would think, like, kind of like almost think kind of like. Like a little. Some eggy. A little bit. Oh, yeah.
Brittany Broski
No, it's not as appetizing.
Beck Bennett
It's like an eggy situation.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Ectoplasm, I think. Also, actually, I had a question for you.
Beck Bennett
Maybe it's like more like jello.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, that's solid.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. The house that you showed that picture in, what was the history of that house? Do you remember? What was it? Who lived there?
Kyle Mo
I don't, but I can go.
Beck Bennett
But don't.
Kyle Mo
I could probably find. I could.
Brittany Broski
Could we see the picture again?
Kyle Mo
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I just sent it to everybody.
Beck Bennett
Again and just pull it back. You get on your knees.
Kyle Mo
Beck always has to remind me that this is. I think of this as a visual. You know, we have these cameras, but, like, some people are just listening.
Brittany Broski
And.
Kyle Mo
Did we properly describe what. What is happening here?
Brittany Broski
Actually, no.
Kyle Mo
This is. Okay, so what we see is we see essentially the corner of a room.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
There's a framed painting. There's. Is this a. Would you call this a fireplace?
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
A table set up for dining. There's another patron of the ghost tour whose profile is taking up probably like a. I don't know, maybe a quarter of the frame. There's a lighted chandelier. There's a bust in the corner of the room between two windows.
Brittany Broski
This was in Savannah.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
So it must have been. What were they doing in Savannah? Oil, textiles.
Kyle Mo
I mean, you guys, that's a. I don't know.
Brittany Broski
I have no clue.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, I'm from the north. I don't know.
Kyle Mo
I'm from San Diego, California. And we were surfing.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Okay.
Beck Bennett
We were doing.
Kyle Mo
So I prepped. So I. I put my finger on the. I put my finger on the photo. And in the top left corner, at some point, there's just sort of like a. A black.
Beck Bennett
An interdimensional throbbing. Yeah, yeah.
Kyle Mo
It's like pulsate.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It doesn't look like a flash, to be honest, because it's in one specific area. It's gonna look. It's not a big flash. On the whole room. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Is that the last.
Beck Bennett
Okay, well, so Kyle caught a ghost on his phone, and you can definitely go online to check it out. When this episode drops, he'll text it to you. He'll text it to you directly.
Kyle Mo
Seriously, just leave. If. If you're on YouTube, leave your phone number in the comments, and I will. I will text you, and we will.
Beck Bennett
Text you from a ghost phone. Like. Like Ghost Kitchen.
Kyle Mo
Well, this has been Ghosts with Bet, Kyle and Britney Broski. Okay, we are back. We're recapping our ghost at this point, technically our only episode of Ghosts.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
More to come, hopefully. I. I will say, Brittany, you've not been privy to our other episodes, so you don't. You have no idea what you're walking into.
Brittany Broski
Zero.
Beck Bennett
Yeah, I.
Kyle Mo
For my money, that was a solid.
Beck Bennett
That was a really solid option for our podcast.
Brittany Broski
Wow. Thank you, guys. Yeah, I just hope to be considered, you know, because.
Kyle Mo
Well, the thing is, I feel like everybody. If you were to. If we were to bring in guests and talk about. Go. Everybody's gonna have an opinion, right?
Brittany Broski
Always. It's a classic. Timeless. Like, I have a ghost story. I'm sure you do, girl. Sit down and talk into this mite.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Yeah. And then, you know, people could talk about what. What it would take for them to become a ghost, you know, their regular lives.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. Favorite way to die. How do you guys see. See yourselves going out?
Beck Bennett
Favorite way to die.
Kyle Mo
A red or just the way we're.
Brittany Broski
Well, there's two options. Your favorite way, and then probably what's gonna happen.
Beck Bennett
Okay.
Kyle Mo
Yeah, let's do both. Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
Well, okay. Does anybody have something lined up already?
Kyle Mo
I think I know how I'm gonna die.
Beck Bennett
How is it?
Kyle Mo
I think I'm going to suffer from some sort of dementia and just sort of gradually decline.
Brittany Broski
Sure.
Beck Bennett
I am going to go with kind of like a. Kind of maybe falling down a big flight of stairs and then just kind of open up.
Kyle Mo
You think this is going to happen to you?
Beck Bennett
It's just a gut feeling.
Kyle Mo
Okay.
Beck Bennett
It's kind of open in an area. They're doing construction on it, and I fall three flights down. And I'm pretty old already. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I'm kind of. Yeah, but that's maybe it.
Brittany Broski
Mine's. I. I just know I'm gonna die in Louisiana. I don't know how and I don't know when.
Kyle Mo
Do you know at what point? Just don't go thinking that or believing that.
Brittany Broski
Probably like 2018. I don't know why it just hit me and I was like, yeah, that makes sense. Well, I don't know.
Kyle Mo
My favorite way to die would be. I think this is just coming right now. I've never thought about this.
Brittany Broski
Okay.
Kyle Mo
Some sort of like extreme sport esque. Like it's like I'm picturing like, I don't, I don't know if there's. I guess like wakeboarding is done on the lake, right?
Brittany Broski
Yes.
Kyle Mo
What is, is there an equivalent on like an ocean?
Beck Bennett
I mean, I think you just wakeboard on an ocean.
Kyle Mo
Can you.
Brittany Broski
It might just be the same.
Kyle Mo
I would like to do something where like, kind of like, you know, I'm, I've learned, I've. I've gained skill and I'm decent and so I am, you know, let's say I'm jumping off a wake with my wakeboard and I'm like attempting a flip or like some sort of twist and it's just a very good jump and flip. But then I just, I just immediately drown. So it's like my. What I like about.
Beck Bennett
Does anybody see the flip?
Kyle Mo
I, I haven't thought that much about, but just the idea of like, okay, I'm doing something cool, but then I want it to be over suddenly after that, that.
Brittany Broski
No pain.
Kyle Mo
I would like that.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. Yeah. Most would.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, I get that.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. That's cool.
Brittany Broski
I'll raise you. Theme park. I'd like to die on a roller coaster. Right. Because then my family can go for free the rest of their lives.
Kyle Mo
Is that what happens?
Brittany Broski
I think so.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
I might need to double check.
Beck Bennett
I think you do.
Kyle Mo
I think you could probably. I think you'd be in the conversation 100%.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Brittany Broski
I mean they would deserve it. Yeah. And go have fun in my honor. You know, I think that would be. That would be fun. Dollywood, those scary ass wooden roller coasters.
Kyle Mo
Never been to Dollywood. I really want to go.
Brittany Broski
We should go, guys.
Beck Bennett
Let's go. We could do like kind of a, like a travel app.
Kyle Mo
Yes. And also a ghost tour while we're there.
Beck Bennett
Hey, and for me it'd be an orgy with my family. Like we're all getting off and maybe some Molly's involved. We're having cheeseburgers. It's like a three day thing. We get catered. Yeah. We get a really nice house like on a lake and we're just going to town. Everybody just like releasing. Everybody's releasing.
Brittany Broski
Don't, don't laugh.
Beck Bennett
I mean, are you kidding me? My, my closest loved ones just, just releasing all weekend and then I. And then I die and go right into heaven, and that is the last thing I have. And. Yes, girl, come on. Yes. Jesus is like, that's why I made them. That's why I did it. Nobody's doing it with their family. Exactly.
Brittany Broski
No one loves you more than your own family.
Beck Bennett
Exactly.
Brittany Broski
Amen.
Kyle Mo
I guess it would be cool.
Brittany Broski
Come on. You gotta try it once, dude.
Beck Bennett
I'm sorry. My chosen family. You.
Kyle Mo
Oh, you're chosen.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Yeah. That sounds cool to me.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Everybody in this room, you're my chosen family. But that would be. That would be really fun. Maybe we can all. Hopefully, we'll dial all the way that we want.
Kyle Mo
I definitely am excited for you to fuck whatever family you choose to chosen brother.
Beck Bennett
Chosen.
Kyle Mo
Okay. I hear you.
Beck Bennett
You guys are too cute.
Brittany Broski
I mean, it's.
Kyle Mo
I think you lifted us today.
Brittany Broski
No.
Beck Bennett
Yeah.
Kyle Mo
And we're strangers, you know what I mean? But I think. I think you pulled something good out of us, so thank you.
Beck Bennett
I. I consider myself part of Broski Nation.
Brittany Broski
That means so much to me.
Beck Bennett
Yeah. Yeah. It was great to have you here.
Brittany Broski
I don't want to make both of you feel old, but you raised a whole generation of young comedic talent.
Beck Bennett
Oh, yeah. Oh, thank you. Thank you. That's very sweet. Thank you.
Kyle Mo
Well, anyway, one more time. We'll tap one more time for the listeners in the cars.
Beck Bennett
That's all of us tapping. Yeah.
Kyle Mo
Oh, see? Yeah. Brittany's already better.
Brittany Broski
I'm watching it.
Beck Bennett
I'm consuming the comments. She's got those fingernails. She's able to do that.
Brittany Broski
That's the only reason they're.
Kyle Mo
Thank you so much for being here.
Brittany Broski
My pleasure.
Kyle Mo
Beck.
Beck Bennett
Kyle's is. It was a privilege, as always, for you to do this with me.
Kyle Mo
Yeah.
Beck Bennett
Oh, crap. Yeah. Brittany, do you have anything you want to plug, please?
Brittany Broski
I do, actually. Thank you for reminding me. Guys. Broski Nation, it's the cult I run. This, my camera. It's the cult I run. If you want to join it, it's free. Just head over to YouTube. Royal Court, my interview show. It's like if Game of Thrones was real. I also have a podcast called the Broski Report, which looks like if Walter Cronkite was gay, that's kind of the set. Love you guys. And I love you guys.
Beck Bennett
And we love you. And see, she knows how to do it. She knows how to.
Kyle Mo
What was that one? The last thing.
Beck Bennett
That's a heart. Love.
Brittany Broski
Yeah. And this.
Beck Bennett
Rescue Nation.
Kyle Mo
Rescue Nation.
Beck Bennett
All right. That's it.
Kyle Mo
And ghosts are real.
Beck Bennett
No, Kyle, we're done.
Kyle Mo
Also, if you believe in ghosts, please go ahead and leave a comment down below.
Brittany Broski
Yeah, leave your phone number.
Kyle Mo

Episode: Brittany Broski
Release Date: October 1, 2025
Podcast Network: Headgum
This episode of What’s Our Podcast? continues Beck Bennett and Kyle Mooney’s ongoing quest to discover what their show should actually be about, with the help of their guest, Brittany Broski. Known for her viral “Kombucha Girl” video and her career as a comedian, podcaster, and musician, Brittany brings her signature humor and a unique podcast idea to the table: a show about ghosts and the paranormal, inspired by her mother’s real-life ghost hunting.
The episode is a blend of comedic banter, genuine curiosity, discussions about podcasting, and a full-on pivot into a mock "Ghosts" podcast—complete with a live (sort of) experiment for ghostly proof. The chemistry among the trio results in plenty of laughs and insights, with Brittany providing engaging stories and suggestions while Beck and Kyle riff on their usual tangents.
“The whole point of the show is really to figure... what our podcast should be about... but it’s also to become good at podcasting, right?”
—Kyle Mooney [02:07]
“Honestly, it’s more funny now because it feels like a lifetime ago... but now it’s like I’ve done so many other things that are cooler and I think funnier.”
—Brittany Broski [15:09]
Brittany: “Comedy’s happening in this room, and I think we should acknowledge it.” [25:47]
Transition: Full mock-episode of a new podcast, "Ghosts," with all three as cohosts.
“If there is a ghost here, give us a sign.” —Beck Bennett [49:33]
“Our spectrometers are now at 10.” —Beck Bennett [50:43]
On Podcasting & Improvement:

On Supporting Her Mom’s Ghost-Hunting:

On Belief in Ghosts:
“I would go nine. Let’s raise the stakes a bit. I mean, mother's a ghost hunter.” —Brittany Broski [35:54]
“I’m gonna go eight.” —Beck Bennett [35:43]
On Handling Spirits:
“If like, you're... bothering—like a ghost is bothering you, you could just say something like, ‘Please leave. You’re not welcome here.’” —Kyle Mooney [52:04]
“I kind of do that, actually, without knowing that that was a real thing.” —Beck Bennett [52:19]

What’s Our Podcast? remains a blend of experimental podcasting, comedic chemistry, and self-referential exploration. Brittany Broski elevates the episode with her stories, wit, and willingness to play along. Her “ghosts” pitch offers real narrative promise and gets the hosts joking about specters, the afterlife, and even their own deaths—all while framing ghost hunting as fun family tradition.
The mock “Ghosts” podcast within the episode is a strong showcase for the trio’s banter, offering an entertaining "proof hunt" and ghost tour that toes the line between parody and authenticity. The team’s offbeat humor and affection for each other's quirks make for an episode rich in both laughs and genuine perspective on paranormal curiosity.
