As you can see, we took the show on the road today. I have two amazing guests with me. Fresh, fresh from the reunion. We got Bri and Connor. Welcome to what's the Reality.
A
Thanks for having me.
B
You guys are all smiles.
C
Of course. I know. I'm surprised. We have like the energy left in us, but we're here, we're back. We like feed off each other.
A
Yeah.
C
So it's good.
A
And we feed whoever's like hosting us.
B
Listen, I appreciate it. Everything. Catch me up. What have we been up to since the show filmed?
A
Oh, it's been a year.
B
Yeah.
A
Probably the best year of my life.
C
Absolutely the best year.
A
A lot of growth, personally. Got to share so many experiences with. With this one and traveling a lot more. I used to not travel too much. Not a big flyer, but she's kind of gotten me to spread my wings, I guess.
B
Where have we gone?
A
We went to Boston.
B
Love Boston.
A
To Provincetown.
C
We did your family's annual trip to Hilton Head. That was like, it's so interesting because we had so many conversations obviously in the pods about like all the things we're going to do when we get out of the pods. And like, to be honest with you, we've done like a lot of those things. But yeah, we have Hilton Head. We went to New York City. He got to go to New York for the first time at Christmas. That was like magical. Yeah, that's those little core memories. Right. Like you're going to always remember, done a lot of firsts together. Which is cool because first boyfriend and first girlfriend. First Beyonce. And ex fiance.
A
That is my ex fiance, new girlfriend.
C
We don't even know what we're doing anymore. Wait, I love that. Yeah.
B
Boyfriend, Girlfriend. Fiance. Ex fiance.
A
She's my ex fiance, new girlfriend.
C
Yeah. But no, I think this year's been. You hit it on the head. I think there's been a lot of growth individually, but also together in navigating what life looks like for us. I know Connor was living in Cincinnati at the time, and I was in Columbus, and he had an opportunity to move to Columbus, and we just kind of leaned into it and he moved to Columbus. And I feel like that's been huge for our relationship and for us individually too. It's just like having someone integrated into my life when I feel like I was very independent. And it's all those little moments of, like, the five o' clock hits and. And I come back from work and we're unwinding from the day and making dinner, going to the gym, and, like, all those little moments that you wouldn't necessarily get if you were long distance. Yeah. So I feel like Columbus was a big, pivotal moment for us this past summer. And like Connor said, it's like all the things we were just doing, having fun together, and that's what it's all about. And building confidence in each other by, I don't know, creating those memories.
A
Yeah.
C
And great.
A
Good way to put it.
C
Yeah.
B
What has your experience been, like, watching the show? Did you guys watch together?
A
So she wants to. Every single time.
C
I don't know. We're too.
A
Like you said, you don't want. You don't watch all these seasons.
B
No, no, no.
A
And so it's like, you know, we also process things we found out just so differently.
C
Yeah.
B
Oh, really?
A
I want to just rip through the seasons. I want to, like, watch my parts. She wants to break stuff down.
C
So when you said, let me play that back real quick. And he's like, I already watched it. We're good. I'm like, no, y. Yeah, but I will say it. And that's. You know, we talked about that up front. Like, coming into the season, it was something that we needed to talk about and be like, hey, like, this is probably gonna look different for the both of us, just knowing what we knew about how we went through the experiment. And Connor leads with his heart and can just be like, yep, like, we're good. Like, you know, we did that. And I just am so logical, and I wanna, like, lead with my head and analyze things and break it down and So I think we had a really nice conversation at the beginning of this whole chapter. And just saying, like, hey, we need to do what's best for us, but I also need to raise my hand when I need things from him and vice versa. And so I think, yes, we've watched it separate, but we've also watched it together in the moments that mattered. I mean, I feel like our engagement was so magical. And so watching the reveal, like, I was like, I can't do this on an airplane by myself. So I was like, connor, I need to watch this.
A
Meanwhile, I ripped through every single episode. I was like, I'll rewatch it with you. I need to see what's going on. And also, like, your friends and family, like, she can just, like, kind of like, zone out, like, put her phone away and just really focus in on what she's doing. Meanwhile, like, a couple of my boys group chats are like, speez. You cried. And I was like, ah, come on.
B
Yeah.
A
And I'm like, which scene is it? I gotta watch it before or get ahead of these things. Or be like, I, I, I don't wanna. Or if they're asking about it and stuff like that. I'm like, I need to know what they're gonna see. Cause I can't tell them everything. I don't wanna give them any, like, secret tea or lore. And then they're like, oh, we didn't see that. You told us about it. Like, so I, like, needed to know what, like, the edit was, how it looked, and, like, the results and.
B
Yeah.
A
To kind of.
B
Are you happy with it?
A
Yeah. I mean, that's the thing. People will tell you, like, oh, you did great. Or like, this is now. Like, I really didn't. I haven't changed at all. I don't think, like, I think a lot of people would kind of just bring. That's literally Connor. I didn't, like, put on, like, an act. I didn't do anything I usually wouldn't do. So it's weird when people are like, you were fantastic. Like, I just went in there.
C
You're not an actor.
A
I was just dating chicks. Hang with the bros and do my thing.
B
Okay. That's the new tagline of blindness. Date chicks and hang with bros and
A
do what I did.
C
Like, literally Connor to a T. It worked out well dating one chick. Chicks anymore, Right?
B
How did you feel after watching it all?
C
Oh, it was really tough for me. I think that, again, I'm a very bold personality. I say what's on my mind and that can be controversial at times. And so I think we see some of those moments where I'm kind of, like, just speaking my mind about certain situations, like when we got into Cabo, and I'm like, why is no one talking to each other? This is so weird. And I'm just, like, calling it as it is. And Connor's like, just let it roll.
B
It's good.
C
Like, you know, like, let's just get some drinks and let's have fun. And I'm like, okay. But, like, I. Again, it's kind of how we watch the season together, even. Right. It's like I want to pause and, like, be present and acknowledge what's happening and just. I don't know.
B
I. I would be watching it for a month straight. Yeah, you paused after every.
C
Right. But I do think, like, there's some certain things that I didn't know was going to be emphasized the way they were. And I think specifically just, like, making it look like I'm wavering on Connor. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We knew that we were locked in as, like, number ones towards the end of the experiment. And, I mean, I say it multiple times. I'm like, it was Connor and nobody, like, I wanted to end up with him. And the fact that there's this Chris storyline or just me questioning, like, other, you know, not necessarily connections I want to explore, but just, like, friendships and relationships that I wanted to talk about, it wasn't necessarily a problem in our relationship. Like, we were good and our communication is so strong. So nothing was shocking either. When we watched it back, we're like, yeah, like, we talked about that, you know, so. But it's. It's a little bit different for me to watch back. And, I mean, I'm taking some heat right now, so.
B
Yeah, that's what I was gonna ask. How are you feeling about the fans reactions to you guys as individuals and couples?
A
I mean, it's. It's really tough just, like, watching her get, like, some of the hate on there. That's my girl.
B
Yeah. Or worst of good, right?
C
Yeah. I mean, you just want to come out and say that. Yeah.
A
And so it's. It's, like, kind of bittersweet. Like, I've gotten very, I guess, good reaction from, like, the fans. And it's. I mean, it's been a lot of fun meeting new people, reconnecting with, like, old people. And really, I. I feel really lucky for, I guess, a lot of people that do like me. Like I said once again, like, I. Different, but I do, like, appreciate, like, people coming out and saying and supporting and whatnot. But also, like, I see kind of what she's getting. Sometimes people will comment, like, tag her on my page and be like, how could you do this? Or something. And it's just like. I don't know. It's. It's the Internet. You know how it is. Half. Regardless of what you do, half the people are gonna hate.
C
Yeah.
A
How people are gonna.
C
Like.
A
So it's. It's. It's tough. But, I mean, there's a lot of good moments, and there's just tough ones. But, I mean, that's. That's life, isn't it? So, yeah.
C
Yeah.
B
Bri, you opened up on social media about some of the backlash you've been getting. How have you been handling the negativity that's come your way?
C
I mean, it's hard. It's definitely. It's hard when it's attacking kind of your character. Like, that's kind of just who I am. And I, like, stand by that. Like, the way I process things, the way, like I said, I kind of wear my heart on my sleeve in that regard. While I kind of, like, say it as it is. Like, I'm not afraid to voice that and to feel that people want me to be quiet or not say those things, it's. It's tough. And I'm like, as a female that has always felt empowered to have a voice and for people to tell me that I need to stop talking or I shouldn't have been so bold in saying those things, that I need to, like, you know, acknowledge the elephant in the room. I'm like, well, then what are we doing then if we're not being real? And so I think it's hard because it's. It's attacking kind of who I am as a person and my friends and family. And I think that that's the best advice everyone gives to me is like, your friends and family know who you are, and they love you for that. And it's just unfortunate that, like, strangers can take that in a negative way. And so, I don't know. I stand by who I am, and I'm not going to change myself to gain the approval of others. And so are there moments in the show that I think I could have done differently? Yeah, but holistically, as Connor's saying, he was genuine and authentic. I was, too. And, you know, if that's. Maybe I'm just not for everybody. Not everybody's cup of tea. But, like, a bold woman sometimes is polarizing, so I don't Know it's difficult, but, like, it is what it is, I guess.
B
I mean, at the end of the day, they don't have to live with you. They don't have. They're not your man. They're not your. So honestly, like, who gives a. Yeah, right. That's what I said. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think you guys just sitting here and seeing this chemistry over these just last few minutes, you guys balance each other out so well. Like, it's. Opposites truly attract. Like, you guys are the yin and yang. And it's such a beautiful thing to see this chemistry right here. And it just makes sense. I love it because I saw it through the tv and then I'm like, I wonder if her talking is really. But you just sit here and you're like, you love it.
A
Let her tire herself out and it's my turn.
C
But it's. I think that's, like, what the whole process taught me. Like, as you go and you kind of get to the end of the episodes, and I'm kind of talking about this internal battle that I've been having with Connor, it was like I had this type of person in my mind that I thought I needed. Right. And it was like, I say it like, he. I want. I thought I needed something to out alpha me. Like, talk louder than me and have bigger, bolder statements than me and, like, step in and interrupt me. And, like, I thought that's what I needed. And then Connor came into my life and showed me this, like, beautiful feminine energy that I've never really tapped into. Okay, Connor. And that's what makes it work. Yeah. And he's just sitting here.
A
It's also like, I grew up with a little brother, then two sisters who are also. They have a voice.
B
They use it. Yeah, yeah.
A
One's a teacher, one's a little salesman. So I'm like, they. They. And you kind of saw him on the show for a second, but I just got like, a loud family. And so I just kind of let them all talk, let them all fight, and just kind of hang back, stay as the favorite child and chill and do my thing. So it's kind of. Yeah, I mean, I'm glad it's kind of worked out. And. And, yeah, I mean, we've. Our chemistry has only gotten better too. Like, we learn something about each other, like, every day, I think.
C
Absolutely.
A
And that's. It's still so fun. And she. I know she said I was the slow burn, but I think she kind of has been because she's, like, realizing like, you. Like when I let you just do a couple things that like it. Like, when we sit down, like, does it matter really? And she's like, at the end of the day, he's like, no, you know what? Like, looking back on it, he's like, where we've come or how far we've come. And I'm like, at the end, I wouldn't care if you had the keg type deal.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Wouldn't care if you had. We can keep the Christmas trip till February. All right. Thanks so much. It's just little stuff that she's like, it just. I. I see you so happy with just these stupid little things, and it's just like, it's who you are, and I don't want to change who you are. And, like, that's what the past year has been just, like, learning what each other needs when. When to give each other space, when to interject. I'm slowly starting to. I'm like, all right.
C
Yeah, he's a yapper, too. I'm like, we're both yappers here.
A
Yeah. I mean, I'm a gamer, so I. I use a lot of my talking when gaming with the boys, so. And then let her do her thing
B
whenever you run out of battery by the time.
A
Yeah, she's like, I need. I need you as a soundboard. I'm like, give me, like, two hours. I'll get everything out, hang out, and you can say whatever you need to.
B
That's hilarious.
A
We talked about on the show, actions speak so much louder than words, and that's kind of one of the reasons we had decided to leave the show. We're just like, we need to see each other out with, like, friends groups. We need to see each other out with our families. We need to see each other how we're traveling without cameras, without, like, people telling us where to go, when to go, and how it is. Sometimes it's like we just didn't even have, like, a plan ever, because we were just working and then we were, like, filming. So, like, we needed to plan our own stuff. We need to figure out how to live in, like, different spaces and how life was going to actually be before we made the decision to, like, get married or whatnot. So it wasn't, like, a lack of, like, love or, like, we weren't sure type deal. It was. It was really like, we want to do this once. And, yeah, we need to do everything just on our terms. And so the past year's just been doing just a lot of that. And Just learning so much more about each other. And, like, I'm glad we did what we did, because I don't. Who knows if we would be right here talking to you.
C
Yeah.
B
So I don't think I asked. How did you guys end up on Love is Blind?
A
Were you, like, my sisters? My sisters applied for me.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. We have a family reunion on my dad's side and a bunch of cousins, big family. And my grandma every year. Where are my great grandchildren?
B
And that voice.
C
He's got lots of that.
A
I do. As you saw. I like to do accents sometimes, too. Like, Oli.
B
Yeah, you did come in hot with the olay.
A
And so, yeah, so they're just. My grandma's like, want, like, great grandchildren and everything and sisters and everyone wants to be aunts and uncles. And I was like, why don't you apply to go on Love is Blind? I was like, is that where they can't see each other? Like, yeah. I'm like, I don't know. Like, I don't know if that's for me.
B
Yeah, you don't know if love is blind?
A
I didn't know at the time. I was just. I mean, I. I never watched it, really. I mean, you watch, like, Bits and Pieces or, like, season one or two or something like that, and then. And they're like, why not? Like. And also, it's Columbus, and I was living in Cincinnati at the time, so I was like, I'm also not really trying to move to Columbus. And as I stayed on the show, I'm not a big Ohio State.
B
Here we are.
A
So I was like, I mean, whatever. And they're like, oh, we're actually casting for Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati. And I'm like, all right. So, like, they kind of applied to me. And then obviously, you get the call and you go down the line of stuff. But, yeah, it was my two sisters.
B
Oh, wow. Shout out to them.
A
I know.
C
Okay.
B
What about you, Bri?
C
Mine happened in, like, a really, like, authentic way, which is. Or maybe like, organic. And I feel like that's always the dream for people in the dating world. They're like, I don't want to be on the apps. Like, I just want this to happen organically. So the way that the door opened for me was one of my girlfriends was out to dinner with just a friend of hers, and she was casting for Love is Blind, and she was like, you know anybody that's in Ohio? I'm, like, casting for this, like, show, and I'm looking for single women. She's like, I Got there, I got your girl. And so she had sent me a text and just connected me. At the time, I had not watched any of the show, so it was like one of those things where I was like, quick gotta, like, binge a couple episodes to even know what I'm doing. And I think through just watching it was D.C. season at the time, and you see some of these beautiful connections. Like, obviously, Taylor and Garrett were a fantastic example of being like, this can really work. And so I think that gave me the confidence to at least pursue. Yeah. But I think we can probably, all of us that have been involved in the experiment can be like, it will never be me. Like, I'm just taking this call and then all of a sudden you're like, on the plane to LA and you're like, wait, how did I get here?
B
Yeah.
A
You also don't ever, like, see yourself as like, a reality.
C
Yeah, yeah.
A
And so, like, I was like, I don't think I'm the right guy. Like, I don't have, like, a lot of trauma. I don't have, like a lot of tough things that I had overcome. And so I was also just like, man, in reality, or when you watch, like, American Idol and they're like, oh, they're craziest. I didn't have a voice until yesterday and then I just became Justin Bieber. Yeah, I don't have any of that. So. But I mean, I guess kudos to them.
B
Yeah. They saw something in us and look at us now.
A
Look at us now. What's the reality?
C
Who would have thought?
B
Look at us. Okay, let's get into your season a bit. We got to see both of your other connections in the pods, but what made you choose each other in the end?
C
I feel like, for me, it. We have different experiences of, like, the pods, and I think it's probably shown that way too. You're a little bit more vocal about it in some interviews, but the very first date that I had with Connor, I call it electric. It was one of those things that I came in and I feed off other people's energies and everyone has a different POV of how you go into those first dates and, like, rank them or evaluate them. And I was really going off of, like, vibes. Like, I was like, if I can, like, vibe with this person. Yeah. I didn't come in hot with non negotiables or anything. I was like, I just want to, like, feed off of the other person on the other side and see how it goes. And so Connor came in and right Away. It's like, boom, boom, boom. We're like hitting all these random connections of, like, his mom's from my hometown in Michigan, which is like, so ironic because I'm like, on this Ohio show, I'm a kind of a transplant because I lived in or I grew up in Michigan. And like, his mom literally grew up down the street from my aunt. And, like, it's just that, like, alone was just like, okay, this could be like. It feels a little bit more comforting. You're finding commonalities. And then I went to Michigan. He's like, wait. Like, I. I go blue. And I'm like, great. Oh, my gosh. And so I come busting in the doors and I told all the girls, I'm like, I found my husband. Pack my bags. Like, I'm out of here. So day one, Connor was number one. And that's where the separation was just like, he was here and everyone else was just like. I kept everybody, you know, going to go throughout the process, but nobody really compared to that electric connection. So that was.
A
He.
C
He was always at the top. And I was like, until he was gonna be. I don't show up something different. One day I was like, he's. He's locked in.
B
Electric. Okay.
C
Electric. Yes.
A
She was my number three after day one.
B
Oh. So the plug was a one way.
A
You know how day one is?
B
Day one is five minute dates. Day crazy. Yeah. Five minute dates.
A
We had 60, 16, 10 minute dates for us.
B
Yeah.
A
And so, like, top three is cool. Like, take that.
B
I'll take top three. Can I be messy? Yeah. What was one and two?
A
I think Emma was one. I think actually Brie. Thomas, the other Brie, was number two.
C
See, he knew there was like a Brie of sorts.
A
She's so cool. She's. So if you just mixed it up.
C
I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah. Right. He misspelled my debris.
A
Yeah. Then I think. I think. I think Bri Thomas was two, you were three. And then I don't even know four through eight was. Or actually Dynasty. I love Dynasty. Yeah. And Tyler. Tyler's so cool.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
You had her on the podcast. She was, I think, in the top five. Top six for me, but she had me at like, bottom eight, I guess. Thanks, girl.
C
Never saw again.
A
Yeah.
B
Okay. Walk me through.
A
Sorry. Like, don't let me get up.
B
Just.
A
Hey, I love, like I told you, my mom. My mom just said, just stop talking.
B
No, keep it going.
C
See, this is why I'm laughing at the show when they're like, making me the Yapper. I was like, this dude doesn't shut up, and I'm the yapper.
B
I think it's because you're just a little bit louder.
C
True.
B
He says it kind of like, if you hear it, you hear it type thing.
A
My thing is, like, once I start.
C
You do. Tell me.
A
Once I start. Yeah, you do. It could be worse.
B
You guys walk me through your reveal. How did it feel seeing each other for the first time?
A
I'll never forget it. But I also, like, forget your face. You know what I'm saying?
C
Oh, yeah.
A
Like, I don't know how you, when you see him for the first time, then you get sequestered for, like, three or four more days.
B
Oh, that memory is swiped from my head. I don't know anything about that death.
A
Fair enough.
C
No, I, like, asked one of our handlers, I was like, can I see a picture of him again? Just to, like, remember?
B
That's so funny.
A
But I, I, I actually, I don't think I've told this story. Really? Oh, what's the reality?
C
I'm like, he's been holding this one.
A
Yeah. So obviously the reveal. Yeah, I was just like, I just remember seeing her teeth, like, her smile, and I was like, oh, that's awesome. Like, and then touched her butt. And that was cool. But did you.
B
Did they show them?
C
I think there's a picture of you literally, like, full cheeks, like, you're, like, kissing me. And, like, I think it might be a slip down there.
A
Yeah. But so we. When we go to.
C
I'm like, we gotta. We will be pausing and watching that one.
A
Yeah, that's funny, because when we go to Cabo and we hadn't seen each other for, like, three days or whatever, there's like this, this hot little thing in front of me, like, about 200 yards or something, and we're, like, getting, like, golf carted to, like, our next spot. And there's. She's in a black dress. And I was just like, damn, is that like a movie star or something? And then I think my producer Jimmy was like, that's Bri.
C
I go, are you serious, Beyonce?
A
I was like, oh, shit. Yeah, let's go.
B
Like the first time you had seen her after the reveal.
C
Yeah.
A
Because you have 10 minutes. And then you're just like, after, like, a night or two, you're just like, I kind of forget.
B
Yeah, Yeah, I know.
C
It's so bad.
A
The other guys were like, yeah, me.
B
Wait, so how long after your reveal did you guys go to Mexico?
A
We, like, I think it was like, Three and a half, four days.
B
Yeah, yeah. So, yeah, I could see how you could forget.
C
Yeah, yeah.
A
It was only a 10 minute, really quick thing and it's no one you've ever seen before, so you don't have like memories or like fond memories of it. So. Yeah, yeah.

But I had like dark feet, like dark hair, beard. But I had him with brown eyes. And so the thing that stood out to me the most was his blue eyes. They were so piercing. And you're almost like mesmerized. So like there's a moment where you're like sitting on the couch just soaking each other in. And that's why I was so surprised to see it back. I was like, I feel like it was so much more awkward than that because I was like staring at him like, is this you?
B
And then you hear the voice and you're just trying to.
C
It takes you a minute to just like put it all together. And so I think what's interesting, and I've been reflecting on this as people have asked, the hardest part is like when you're going out in that first initial kiss, you're like, I'm kissing a complete stranger. But you just gotta like lean in and do it because you know, like this you got. You haven't quite put it all together yet. And then you do kind of in those moments as you're sitting on the couch and like actually soaking it all in. But I mean, our energy Levels were just, like, feeding off each other in that moment. And that's why I always struggle, because everyone's like, is love mine? I was like, well, if my man was ugly, like, I. I don't know. Like, I was like, I. I don't know. Because he was hot.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
C
I can't answer that question because he's hot. And I formed a connection. I loved him before that. So I. I don't know.
A
I did have really sweaty palms. So you were immediately, like. She found out very quickly. And then I remember, like, struggling to get the ring on because I was sweating so much. So nervous. She had to help me. And I'm like, thank you for editing that out here. Yeah. Appreciate the production team for that.
B
Oh, it was a little.
A
Oh, it took forever.
C
Also, neither of us knew what hand it went on. I was like, oh, it was your.
B
It's always left.
C
I was like, you didn't know.
A
You have so many rings on, like, all the time. So it's like.
C
Like, let me switch.
A
Yeah. Which is also something. It was funny. It's like she always says, oh, you
B
had to take one off.
A
She was like, she always has, like,
C
a normal ring on.
A
Or, like, people will try to clock stuff with, like, if she takes a picture and there's, like, a ring.
B
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
You know?
B
Yeah. Okay, let's. Let's move on to Mexico. Were you and the other couples aware that Vic and Christine weren't coming?
A
I don't think so.
C
Well, I remember, no. I think yes, because when we were at the hotels in those sequester days, that's when we started doing, like, the little appointments. Like, all the girls would go out, and Christine had left at that point. So before we got to Cabo, I think we kind of knew. Like, we knew. It's not like we showed up in Cabo and they weren't there. I know that's a question. Actually. Good question, because I don't remember, like, how that went down.
A
I think after the. I think after the first day, I think somebody.
C
Yeah.
A
Maybe someone told us or, like, that
B
they were in Malibu or that they weren't coming.
A
That they weren't coming to Cabo.
B
Okay.
C
And we didn't really know why or how what else they were doing, But I think what was actually not to jump ahead. But what was interesting is, like, the shock we felt when they were actually coming back into the experiment. We were just like, oh, my gosh. Like, because I think, again, we don't know what's going on.
B
Right.
C
And Then they come back in, and we were so pumped when we were in Columbus just to, like, you know, have them be a part of the experience.
A
It might have been like a word of mouth thing or.
B
Yeah.
A
I don't know. Maybe one of the producers is just like, this is the six that are going. I can't really remember, though, honestly, Bri,
B
you kept mentioning in Mexico that you felt meeting the other castmates felt kind of surface level. Was that in reference to Chris or just everyone in general?
C
I would say everyone in general. I came into there, I dated four of the six guys. So up until, you know, the last couple of days of dating. And what I thought was interesting is, like. I mean, it comes out in the reunion. Like, I went to a Rufus de Soul concert with Devo, but he's like a pal of mine. He's a friend. He's a friend of both of ours. And so you develop these friendships and, like, we were. Had such great connection in the pods and necessarily romantic, but it was like a friendship that you built. And I had a really great connection with Mikey as well. And he kind of broke down some of my walls in the. In the experience to share just some more intimate details about, like, my family and my. Just kind of some of my history and maybe why I'm a little bit hesitant with some relationships, like, um. And that actually allowed me to then be able to articulate that in a date with Connor. So these men were kind of like, you know, they're helping you through these feelings and. And all of that to, I don't know, just show up differently for your number one or in the experiment in general. And so I. I actually have a conversation with Devo in Cabo, and it's literally just us sitting at a table being like, hey, thank you. Like, thanks for being a friend to me. Like, I haven't even acknowledged that his grandfather had passed away during the experience. And so it was just those moments of appreciation. And I feel like we all just didn't know what to do. And so people, like, is it disrespectful, like, if we, like, mingle and we're all kind of glued to each other. Yeah. Being like, what do we do? And I was like, I think we should, like, just all, like, be friends and talk and stuff. So to be honest with you, I don't even think I talked to Chris at that first mixer at all, because him and Jess were, like, obsessed with each other.
B
Yeah.
C
Meanwhile, Connor's hammered because it's his birthday.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
Yeah. I didn't I didn't drink, like, too much in the pause just because I was like, I wanna. I don't wanna obviously, like, embarrass myself. I want to remember, like, every conversation. I don't want to also, like, you know, the liquid courage thing. I want to be, like, fully myself. So I only had, like, maybe one or two per day just to.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
Blood flowing, you know. So, yeah, sounds bad, but whatever. And so I was like, all right, I'm gonna take it easy. And then so I think on my birthday kind of, like, was like, all right, I think I'm gonna, like, kind of get after it tonight. And so, yeah, that scene where I just look pissed. Like, I'm just. I'm just hammering. I'm just tired.
C
I'm yapping to fill this space.
B
Yeah.
A
And you know how long, like, those days are, too. So, like, yeah, I'm hearing him. I'm exhausted. Especially when you're talking all day, like, dating and whatnot, and the heat and the Everything. So it's just, like, all mixed up at once. And they're like, all right. We got, like, another hour to film him after, like, talk about what it was like. And I'm just. So she has to fill this space.
C
Killed him. After that, I was like, you mother. I'm like, you just, like, hung me out to dry. And, like, look at it now. It's just like. I'm just spewing words because he couldn't speak. And I was like, wow. I was just like. Like, digging myself. Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, cool.
B
Yeah.
C
So glad that panned out for me. I'm like, so, yeah, maybe pick me up a little differently when you decide
B
to drink that much crying, you guys. Once you got back to Ohio, Bri, you got to see where Connor lived, and you had some strong commentary on what you saw. Connor, at the reunion, you mentioned you moved to a new place. Bri, is there an improvement?
C
Oh, yeah. Oh, my gosh. Yes. But I think, like, I knew that about Connor. Like, I think we were, like, giggling about it, going there. I was like, this is. I'm. I'm in for a treat. And that's why it's so, like, playful and funny as we're going through is because he fully prepared me. He's like, listen. He's like, I'm a boy, and I've been a bachelor and so single. I was like, I think I know what I'm walking into and what I do. I was just like. It just was like, one thing after another. Like, this checks. This checks. This checks and he's just a boy. Like that's what he is. And so I think even some of the fun stuff that we did, I feel like even in April, right after when I'd come visit, he's like, okay, like, help me like decorate or like help me like do this. And so I think not to put words in your mouth, but I know you were saying, like I've been waiting for somebody to like motivate me, I guess to like not be live like a bachelor lifestyle.
A
And so I'm pretty extreme extrinsically motivated. And so like obviously like I'll clean up whenever I'm about to have a party and whatnot. And I mean like you saw that the main bedroom wasn't bad. It's just a guest bedroom. But like, yeah, I, I put, I wanted two twin beds for my buddy's visit. I'm like, instead of a couch crash, like you guys are two beds. And they've been very appreciative of that. But I understand where when you have Beyonce or girlfriend or whatever the heck you are these days.
C
Yeah. Who knows? I like almost proposed to you last, I think the reunion.
A
All right.
C
They would talk about the leader.
A
They would have loved that. But yeah, I understand that this isn't like what necessarily you would be wanting. I told her that. I'm like, this is. I mean, I've been single for a while and I bought this kind of this two bedroom house and it's been a guy just living here by himself and you're gonna see that. So yeah, I mean, but your place
C
now is really nice.
A
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Easy.
B
Hunter, is your Christmas tree still up?
A
No, we took it down.
C
No, but that's the thing is like immediately when we were giggling in those moments about the keg and the Christmas tree, that man, like as soon as we wrapped like within that first week, he's like, the Christmas tree's down, the keg's gone. I was really ready for ch. A little.
B
Just a little kid.
C
And yeah, like I'm on it.
A
I also didn't want to like. Cuz one of my friends wise is like, do you want me to like clean it like deep clean? I'm like. I was like, maybe, but also like, you know what? I also don't want to come off as like a clean freak. And then she was like, oh my gosh, she's a clean freak like me. And so like we're going to be perfect because there's not going to be a spot. And then the first day we live together. There's a dish out. And she's like, what is this isn't what? So I'm like, you know what? I get on my. I was like, I'm gonna take some heat for the Christmas tree. I'm gonna take some heat for the keg. Oh, I forgot about the keg, honestly.
C
No, I think you did forget about that. You're like, what? Like, we're both shocked in the moment.
A
Yeah. The. The anxiety of just like lead the week when you find out you're going on. You're like, oh, I gotta, like, get new clothes. I need to, like, get my together. I gotta make sure work is all taken care of. There's so many different things. And then just in the backyard and it's freezing in Cincinnati and February. So, like, I wasn't going outside and so all of a sudden, and then it's the day before you leave and you don't have a truck. And I'm like, well, that's staying there. So I was like, you know what? Yeah, it's been a funny, like, meme.
C
No, it really is, like, it's just light hearted and it's so you. And I'm glad I. I'm glad you said what you just did because it was like, I got to see all of you.
A
Yeah. I didn't want to hide about.
C
Right. Showing each other the good, bad and the ugly and the raw.
B
And like, I mean, if a keg is the bad and the ugly, I'll take it.
A
We will take it.
C
That's the worst thing about him.
B
Like, y', all, let's get into this very dramatic POD squad meetup. Bri, you're getting some negative reactions from fans who also feel like maybe you shouldn't have entertained the conversation with Chris as much as you did. What's your response to that?
C
No, I wholeheartedly agree with that. I think what was interesting in the moment, watching it back is going into that day, like, Chris was a friend to the both of us. And Chris had told Connor in a conversation, like, okay, we're breaking up, like, and he. He's not overt in saying, like, really all the things that he actually did say to Jess.
B
Yeah.
C
So it's.
A
And she wasn't at, like, the girls. Like, Jess had texted the girls what had happened. Or she's like, if you guys can come over and, like, talk to me or whatever. Like, something just happened. And we were filming. So Brie wasn't able to get in on that. So she didn't know from, like, Jess
C
I didn't know anything until I go to the mixer and it's all coming out. I was like, Chris sent me this weird dm. Like, I didn't. I didn't know it was even him. And it was. I mean, it wasn't anything bad. It was just like, oh, yeah. I'm like, why are you deeming me? This is just weird. And then there was some other things that were just coming up at the mixer. So by the time you kind of get around to Chris, I'm starting to piece it all together and, like, we're talking about it and he's, like, telling us, like, there's this Pilates joke that's, like, going around the room. I was like, what is this? Like, is it because, like. Cause I know he was super routine. I was like, is it because of, like, the routine? But now in the context, he's, like, saying it as a knock to her body, and I'm like, oh, wow. Okay. That was a lot more than what I thought it was because we were playing straight up telephone of, like, what he told Connor is what Connor told me going into the mixer. And then obviously, I see he's. He's, like, delusional as we're talking because he's saying all this, like, crazy. And. Yeah. Should I have walked away sooner than what I did? Absolutely. But, I mean, I think as this scene continues and my response is, I'm just kind of like, I got, Like, I'm good. Like, I got my man's, like, I'm out of here. And so, yeah, do I feel bad for both Connor and just who have sat there and watched that? But you even said, you're like, I don't even know what they were talking about because it could have been anything.
A
So at the time, I thought he was my good buddy. So, yeah, I thought it was a very. Just, like, whatever conversation and helping him talk to. I thought she was, like, helping him through, like, the just stuff and trying to get winner back. Because in my mind, the last time
C
I talked to him, that's actually.
A
I think he was trying to win Jess back after we talked in, like, the courtyard. So the other thing is, it's like, like, the keg thing with me. Like, the worst thing is that she didn't walk away five minutes earlier than she should have. I'm like, okay, it happens. And in the moment, like, yeah, she was whatever. Like, as you saw, like, yeah, if the knock is that she stayed five minutes too long. And that's like, my girl. I'm like, yeah, it happens. It's cool.
B
How did it feel watching Chris and his comments and his behavior to breathe throughout the night and then come be like, try to dap you up and be buddy with you.
A
See, once. Yeah, the thing is. Yeah. So I had no, I still had no idea what the conversation was about because I think Bruce, like, we got to talk about some stuff. Chris said some crazy stuff and we need to talk about it later because I think she also didn't want me to say that.
C
No, I didn't want you to have a reaction there. It wouldn't have been healthy, thankfully.
A
And yeah, like, and also good thing I wasn't just hammered too and started throwing some bows or something. But no, it was. I was like, should I be worried? She's like, trust me, you'll talk about it later. Okay. And then I just felt. You can. You felt something. Like everyone knew something. I didn't. And in the moment, I really didn't think anything of it. But like, you kind of catch some, like, eyes and people are just like, looking at you. And I'm just like, I feel like I missed something here.
B
What's going on?
A
And so. And then he dapped me up at the end. It also just felt like, like weird. Not, I mean, from what I remember, it's just like. And then looking back and watching it and I'm just like, man, you are kind of crazy, brother. Because he obviously didn't say anything to me. I didn't know anything about the bathroom comments too, where he's just like, like, was kind of gonna beat me up. And I was like, that's like the grown ass man right there. Are we serious? Come on, man. So. And in the bathroom doing that, I'm just like, man, so that was a hard watch. Yeah.
B
So I can imagine how that was.
C
No, I wanted to throw up. And like, I think it was more so like you said. Yeah. Did I say five minutes too long?
A
Correct.
C
There was some behavior that I was not proud of. And had I known what he said to Jessica, I wouldn't have even talked to him. Probably like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I mean, yeah, yeah. It's just. It's unfortunate is really my comment on that. And if I could go back and do it differently, I could.
B
But I mean, you don't go to a bar thinking your man's friend is gonna hit on you.
A
Can't prepare for this.
C
I had no idea that conversation was going to turn into that. Like, he even took accountability too. He's like, I kind of like, attacked Bri, Like. Like, she didn't, like, know what she was walking into. And then all of a sudden, he's, like, laying on thick. I'm like, where? And I even say. I was like, why didn't you bring this stuff up in, like, Cabo or, like, whatever, when we had those dedicated moments as we're circling around the pool talking to all the cast members, I'm like, that's the time, like, to kind of hash things out if you had any sort of conversations. And he didn't say anything.
A
Yeah.
C
And I. And not that it.
B
He.
C
I don't know. It just would have been more appropriate at a different venue or something. I don't know.
B
Or just to not say it.
C
Yeah. I don't know at all. I feel like that's his problem, not mine. Because, like I said, I'm like, I didn't consider him at all. Like, it wasn't something where I'm wavering on him. Obviously, he was wavering on his choice. So I was like, don't bring it into my relationship because I'm good.
B
At the reunion, he apologized to the both of you for his actions. Do you think he was being genuine?
A
I think he was, because I think especially after seeing all that over again and me talking at the reunion, just being like, dude, we were boys. Like, that was. That's. That's real. Like, he was probably one of my better friends. Yeah. Like I said, one of my. One of my good buddies in the pods. And we were in the back of the bus together to the hotel, talked through a lot of stuff, and just in general, and obviously, I confided him in. You can find it in him in a lot of things. And then. And, yeah, like I said, worked out, like, every morning. Me, him, and Vic and would always. Would always work out. So that's the thing. Like, none of us saw or expected this. Especially, like, Vic. Vic doesn't. I'm like, vic is the best. I'm like, if he can't clock it, then no one can clock it.
C
True. Right?
A
So, like, none of. We were all just so blindsided. And I think after, he kind of heard, like, like, hey, dude, remember, we were boys. I think I. So I think it. I think he definitely apologies. Like, I think the apology. Apology was. Was real because, I mean, yeah, it was a really good friendship.
C
Let's not forget, though, like, we've talked to him before that, and he's apologized before.
B
Okay.
C
So I think the second apology is probably because there's even more that was exposed and There was like. But we had a cast meetup back in the fall. Jess addresses it well as well, and Jess kind of actually broke the ice for all of us because we see Chris walk in, and it's like, you could hear, like, a record scratch, like, their moment. We're all like, what? And Jess approached him right away, and they kind of bury the hatchet, and it kind of gives us all, you know, like, okay. Like, maybe we're like, things are okay here. And, like. Cause we're all kind of on edge. We're like, what is this guy gonna come in? Like a gun's a blazin? Or is he gonna come in and just be like, hey, I'm sorry.
B
Yeah.
C
And so I don't know what your conversation was with him that night, but as I came up, like, two seconds. Yeah. He was just like, hey, like, I'm sorry for what happened. And we kind of just like, you know what? Water under the bridge. We haven't thought about it since.
B
Is this pre. The show airing?
C
Yeah.
A
Oh, yeah.
C
This is like October months, like, in the fall. So, like, I. I do think it's genuine because, like, it had been weighing on him. Clearly. It's not like he watched it back and was like, right. Oh, now, like, getting.
B
Everyone's yelling at me. Let me circle back.
C
Right, exactly. So I think we got the apology in the fall. And then, like, think, obviously, as we all experience, there's a lot more to that moment that came out that made a lot of us feel differently. And so I do think. I think he was genuine last night. And I mean, like, as a Christian woman, I was like, I forgive him because what else am I gonna do?
A
He got his own demons.
C
Yeah. I'm like, he's going through his own stuff. And, like, we're good. I mean, it wasn't easy.
A
I mean, you were good. I'm like, yeah, that's not really not going to let something like that affect us. So. Yeah, I mean, I hope he's okay. Honestly, like, yeah, that was a lot yesterday and also kind of warranted.
B
Well, let's pause the Chris talk for a little bit.
C
Yeah, I love that. Let's talk about something.
B
Yeah. When did you decide you weren't ready to go to the altar with Connor?
C
I remember, like, when we started having those realistic conversations about a week before.
A
Before.
C
Yeah, probably about a week.
A
You're just like, nothing wrong with you, but.
C
Excuse me, this is my question. Let me. Let me respond here, because thank you for refreshing my memory, but I now feel like it's coming back to me is like, it was the moment where I keep delaying him meeting my dad. And the reason I'm doing that is because I wanted. I noticed something in Connor that I was like, this is, like, real. This is the real deal. I'm serious about this person. But I also knew that this experiment is so bizarre. So I want to feel fully confident going into my dad to be like, I know this is crazy, but you need to trust me. And, like, I'm all in on this, man. And so I think as we're approaching kind of those final moments, they're like, when is he gonna meet G man? And I'm like, am I ready? Yeah. And so I know I put a lot of pressure on that moment. And it was more so, like, me showing up as, like, my dad's little girl and being able to be like, hey, like, this man's gonna walk me down the aisle. And so I think that's when I started really vocalizing it to Connor to be like, hey, I don't know if I'm ready. He does go and meet my dad. And we kind of left it open. I didn't. He didn't overtly ask for my dad's permission, but my dad kind of acknowledged if you want to share that moment.
A
Yeah, it was. It was also tough just because she. She'd explained her dad, like, in the pause and everything. And everything into me wanted to be like, you are. Like, you've never. You've never. What was it? He's like, you never said no to her. Like, you never. You've always done what you wanted to do.
C
Yeah.
A
And he's like, even if I said no, you're like, I'm still gonna do it.
C
Yeah.
A
And so that's why I, like. But it's her dad. She's known him, obviously, baby girl, for 33, 34 years, and it's like she knows it more than anybody. But I just wanted to, like, that's one thing I kind of wish I would have said, I think, because I'm like, he trusts you so much, and you do whatever your heart, like, desires, and he would have trusted you. But also, like, meeting him in the way that everything's gone, I'm like. I can tell he's, like, way more comfortable with, like, everything because he obviously had watched the show or anything. So it was just, like, opening up his experience, like, just his eyes, like, the experiment that him meeting me, and it was the first time we were sitting down at dinner, and he just pulls up a chair and puts it in between us, too. And he's like, I guess we got to get to know each other, huh? So he took it so well. It was so. It was so nice. Yeah. And, like, very grateful that he was even open to it. But, like, like I said, like, he Trusts Bri, like, 100, so whatever she needs to do or wants to do, he's like, I'm in for it.
B
Yep. Bri, you mentioned a few times in your last conversation with Connor that he wasn't getting the best version of you.
C
Yeah.
B
What did you mean by that?
C
Well, number one, I had shingles.
B
Girls.
C
I was like, your girl has shingles. I got a lot going on. But this, I'm saying, like, you're not going to come out and be like, give me, like, give me some. Like, cut me some slack, because. But, like, in those moments, going all the way back to the mixer, I get shingles while, like, right before the mixer and then we're going in. Like, that's why I'm like, I'm dealing with my own shit. And then Jess is having the breakup, and I'm like, I'm just fighting for my life out here, like, truly just trying to show up for, like, work and Connor and filming and da, da, da. And so, yeah, I'm not up to speed on all the drama because I'm like. I'm literally, like, just trying to breathe. Today

So, anyways, I had had shingles for that whole week, and then that's when I'm like, oh, my God, I can't. Like, I'm so exhausted. I'm so tired. I'm so beat down. I go home, we go to meet my dad, and, like, you kind of get back in your ecosystem, and they're recognizing something's a little off of me, and. And it's hard when someone's saying, like, this isn't you. What's going on. And I was like, it's not Connor that's changing me. It's just the pressure I'm putting on myself from this experiment. And I'm very self aware and I know when things aren't, you know, things aren't right. And I was kind of thrown off kilter in the experiment. And it's interesting we even like talked about it. I think yesterday watching those episodes back, I was like, you've never seen that side of me since. Like, I was so just like crumpled. Like, I was just. My health was not great. I'm spiraling with my mental health. And I would just had to raise the white flag. And like, that's why I feel like it's a little disconnected for the audience is like, we did have this beautiful last date, but I'm just like, I can't walk down the altar and have the best day of my life when I'm feeling like a zero, you know? And it's like, physically, mentally, like, I want to give you all of me. And I couldn't do it in that moment, but. But it's awesome to see that he could pick me up in my darkest days because I. I say this a million times. I'm like, the best is yet to come. And it's been nothing but that. Like, we've never had those dark, dark moments. Like, you know, it's just like I was down in the dumps. Like, it was just a lot, so.
A
Ain't no sunshine without.
B
Sing that a little bit louder. No, no.
C
But yeah, it was just a personal journey and like, that's. It was just unfortunate. But then again, Connor's like skipping around. Like, happy glow is like, we're good. We're gonna go to the altar. We're gonna do this. I was like, I can't even like,
A
having a good time.
B
Looking back. Is there anything that you guys, either of you would have done differently?
A
No. I mean, because I don't. I don't think we'd. Who knows if we'd be here. So. Yeah, in general, I wouldn't change anything. I probably would have not let my. Or I probably wouldn't have shaved my whole face for the last day.
C
I mean, not the beard.
A
That was a rough look. Other than that, I mean, I remember
B
turning my face and then turning back and be like, oh, who's that?
C
No, he looks like a different person.
A
I have like, yeah, I'm like, I
B
didn't know who I was looking at.
A
I know. I just. I just get like, I shaved like two days ago. And I'm like, you're crazy. I'm so hairy. Maybe my. Maybe my hygiene.
C
Okay, that. That's crazy out of you. But I would say I agree with you, though. I think, like, our experiences are experience, and I would never go back and do anything differently. But at just a vulnerable moment for me watching it back, it was extremely emotional at the end because you do see our beautiful connection. And I'm sobbing to him, like, multiple times. And you're like, are you okay? I'm like, I just love you so much. And, like, you're so great. Should we have just gotten married? Like, it would, like, you know, I
A
don't think life wouldn't have been that different.
C
No.
A
And I told her, like, we had mentioned. I'm like, I don't. Because we live in the same city now. We do a ton of stuff together. Our friends groups have gotten all together. So I'm like, I don't know if just like, the title of that or do changed anything.
B
Yeah.
A
So I don't know. But if it did, who knows?
C
Yeah.
A
And we wouldn't. Who knows if we'd be here today. So you don't want to put a little ripple in the. The time warp.
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
Yeah.
B
What would you guys say? Your biggest takeaway from love is blind
C
is as they just be you. I think that was the coolest experience of my life is like. And I may get emotional. I feel like I'm being a little choked up. But in a lot of the interviews that I'm throughout the process, unpacking is like, I. I've always struggled with, like, am I being too much or am I not enough? And I think that that kind of comes through when maybe some of these criticisms that's coming out is like, I've worked so hard to just be like, Jessica, be me.
B
Yeah.
C
And the right person. Right person is going to be there to pick you up and let you be you. And that's where we're saying in those final dates is I was like, you love me for all of me. And I was like, I'm a lunatic. I'm crazy. Like, but you love me for me. And I just, like, I think that's so beautiful that I can just be me. And that's why I stand by everything I did in the show, because I was me.
B
Yeah.
C
And he fell in love with that. Like, you know, like, people are saying, like, Connor doesn't deserve that. Blah, blah, blah. And I was like, but Connor loves me. Like, you know, I don't know. It's Just, like, it's hard. And, like, do I have opportunities? Absolutely. But that was me in that moment. And we laugh because, you know, I have all these, like, nicknames. It's Bri, it's Breezy, whatever. And I'll never forget the moment that, like, my producers and I were talking. He's like, just go in and be like, government, like, foley, Brianna Marie McNeese. Like, go in there and show him that, and the right person's gonna pick you up. And I was like, that's what this man did for me. Yeah.
B
Such good advice.
C
I'm like, my man, and he's him, you know? Like, that's what's so beautiful. The keg, the Christmas tree. It doesn't matter. And that's what the realization at the end is for me. I was like. I was criticizing all this stuff, and it doesn't matter. And, like, it's. It's really cool to just be ourselves, and I think that's what makes our connection so beautiful.
B
Yeah, I love that, and I love that you guys are here today and that we get to see, hopefully, if we get to follow your journeys on, like, social media or however you go about it, we get to see this flourish. Because, like I said, you guys are like ying and yang, and it just meshes and it just works. It's a beautiful thing just sitting here watching you guys right now. It's just a beautiful thing.
A
No TikTok dances, though. I'm not gonna do that.
C
No, we aren't. We will not be able to do those.
B
I'm crying. Let's talk a little bit about reunion.
A
Okay.
B
Okay. So what, first of all, was that experience, like, for you guys?
A
So much fun having you guys in the crowd.
B
Yeah.
A
Honestly, it made it so much because I get a little anxious before. Yeah. Big crowd event stuff. And. And they didn't want us to, like, obviously talk or, like, hug or smooch before.
C
No, that was hard sitting on the couch.
A
And so also, I'm like. I'm like, I have a panic attack. And she's like, you're fine. You're fine. She's all. I was just. She's also like, all these people know what you're going through. So, like, if you have to, like, hey, I have to take five. No one's gonna be like, what's going on? They're all gonna be like, I understand that. So, like, that was such a. Such a nice thing just to have you guys all up there, and. Very calming thing. And I don't know when I saw Jordan was nervous, too. I was like, okay, other people are nervous. I thought it was just me.
C
It was good.
A
And then just, like, the halfway break, getting to meet just so many of the cast members, and they're just being, like, so nice and so welcoming, and they're just like, what's up, man? I'm Joe. I'm Jordan. I'm Connor. Like, we know you.
C
I'm like, feel like you have to introduce yourselves, but, like, we all know each other. Like, you know who they are before
A
even, like, so funny. And, I mean, Nick and Vanessa. I wish we could see them more. Nick told us that season one. They were there the whole time.
B
Yeah, they were.
A
And I'm like, dude, I can't even imagine. Stop by more than, like, a couple times, man. I want to hang out with you.
B
I could always use a bit more of nicotine.
A
Absolutely.
C
Great.
B
How was the experience for you?
C
I think for all the reasons you said, too. I was like, it was a cool experience of just, like, connection and community. And I think the. To your point, it's, like, very supportive. Like, that was kind of a weight lifted off of us as we came out. I mean, I didn't sleep the night before because you're, like, all these nerves and emotions, and that was just putting my mind at ease. But I mean, it. It was refreshing, too. Like, we finally just get to be us. Like, that was kind of our announcement to be like, hey, we're still together.
B
It was so cute when you guys got close together finally. Finally.
C
Cause he was. I mean, he shared some of those moments, too, when we first sat down, and he's like. And I'm like, literally, like, trying to be, like, closely, like, trying to touch you and be like, it's gonna be okay, but I'm like, I can't, like, be. I was like, can we just, like, scoot now? Can we, like, get closer? But I think that's really awesome, and we've been so excited. I mean, our friends and family obviously know we're together, but just to be like, this worked for us, and our journey is unique, and, like, we're just so grateful for it. So I think that was just fun in and of itself.
B
Something we learned at the reunion is that Brittany was a little upset after learning Devonte went to a concert with you and some of the ladies after lying about being on a. On a girls trip. Um, were you surprised the way that blew up?
C
Yeah, well, we had already addressed it back in April, so that's why I was like, why were we bringing this up again. Unless you really wanted to just make it a thing.
B
Yeah.
C
So it felt a little uncomfy, because.
B
Not uncomfy.
C
I'm like. I'm like, are we doing this right now? I'm like, whiplash. I thought we talked about this already. But I will say the lying part. Like, I obviously didn't know that, where he's, like, telling her one thing and maybe not being honest to us, but I think he kind of described it as such a casual thing that I feel like we all tacked on to. And we invited Connor, and Connor's like, I am exhausted. Like, I'm not a Rufus guy. I'm good on it. Like, I'm. You guys go and have fun. And it was a mixed bag of, like, me visiting other friends. And then we went to a concert at Rufus. Like, it was kind of just really casual to me. But again, I. I think, you know, to take accountability, I have to remember that there's other feelings involved. And, you know, it's not like I was, like, very close with Britney that I felt like. I don't know. I didn't. I didn't feel like I needed to explain myself, to be like, hey, like, I'm sorry that that upset you. I think we did that back in April.
A
And the thing is, also, it's like. Like, you thought Britney, like, knew. Like, you think that, like, Devo and Brittany had talked about if they were. We're not together.
C
So, like, that was wild, too.
A
I know.
C
I know you weren't together. And she's like, I was wearing the wedding ring. I got brunch. I was like, what brunch? I was. That was the same Saturday. I was in there, and I was like, what? I just didn't even know what was going on. At one point. We're all just looking at each other like, what is happening?
B
Yeah, we were all looking at each other.
C
It was just like, because everyone's doing this. And then, like, Jordan comes in and Amber, and we're like, what is happening? I was like, we went to a concert. It's not a big deal for me. Like, I went to a Rufus concert, and my friends from Austin were also there. Like, I don't know.
B
Did either of you guys know that devonte was engaged and had a baby? No.
A
He kept that quiet. None of the. I think Mike like, Brad music. Did you know? I was like, did I know? Did you Vic. We looked at each other. I'm sure there's gonna be, like, a lot of just, like, clips or whatever, like, memes. Or something of us all just. Holy. Yeah, we had no idea that was.
C
No, I feel like that's gonna be the meme, like, obviously.
B
Okay, how about this? Let's play a game. Do you guys like games? Okay.
C
Yeah. He is a gamer.
B
Okay, well, it is game time, so we're gonna play. And it's called Ick or stick.
C
Okay, that's fun.
B

Get soft, strong, bouncy hair in just four minutes with K18. Let me explain the rules. So I'm gonna go through different personality traits and you have to tell me whether you think it would win you over on Love is Blind, like make it stick or if it would make you think twice of saying yes at the altar. And that's an ick.
C
Oh, okay.
B
Okay, that makes sense.
C
Yes.
B
Got it. So ick or stick? They don't have the same music taste as you.
A
Stick.
C
Thick.
A
Yeah, stick.
B
I feel that. Ick or stick? They have been engaged two times before.
C
Like at Miguel.
A
I think it's a stick. I mean, everyone's got past it is what it is.
C
As long as you like stick as well.
A
If you've like grown from it and you. You don't know why they. That ended before too. So you can't like judge them on that reason. So I think it's a stick. It's not a deal breaker.
B
Okay. Okay. Was it?
C
I'd say stick.
B
Okay.
C
I don't really. We never really talked about. I'm not the person that needs to like go back and understand all of your past. Because I was like, that's the past for a reason. And we're moving forward. So while you quick like do a couple hits on it. So I understand your story, but I feel like some women need to know like every detail. And I'm like water under the bridge.
A
Right.
B
Especially after Love is Blind. It's like, I know enough. No, enough for your history. That last two weeks was enough.
A
Yeah.
B
Okay. Icarus stick. They say they remind you of their mom or dad.
C
I feel I would think that was.
A
So you say that I remind you of your dad?
B
Yeah. No, like. Oh. Like, you look at her and you remind me of my mom.
C
Oh, I feel like that's stick. That's fine.
A
I love my mom.
C
I think you even make yourself. You compare yourself to G man. Yeah, that's funny.
A
Yeah. My dad do. Similarities.
B
Yeah. Okay. Icker Stick. They constantly care what others think of them.
A
That's kind of been me before. Like, I've been kind of like a people pleaser, and I've been like, that's what the past, like, kind of year and best, like, two years has kind of been. I told you that I'm like, I'm really trying to find someone who really, truly, like, lets me be. But that's also partly my fault because there's some times where in the past I have, like, kind of catered. I'm like, oh, you know what? I do like that type of music or something. Like you said, just be like. I think that's what she wants me to say. And so I've kind of had, like, an issue with that. So I would. I think I'd have to go stick, because that's kind of me. I'm talking about myself. I think I have to stay stick.
B
Okay.
C
Well, yeah, stick. Like, I mean, I feel like that's, like, if it's. It's maybe not, like, an insecurity, but, like, it's something that you can probably, like, I gas you up all the time. I'm like. Because I'm like, I know you need, like, the reassurance. So stick.
A
We're gonna say stick.
B
Okay.
C
Because if it was, what would you
A
say for that one?
B
It's a hard one, honestly. I think it's the word constantly. Like, I think it's okay. I think it's normal to care what, you know, people think of you to an extent, but I think constantly, I'd be like, all right, put your phone down and stop asking for advice. So it's kind of like a. A icky sticky for me.
A
Okay.
B
Yeah, constantly. I don't want to hear it.
A
I don't want 100.
B
Yeah, that was right. That was harsh, huh?
C
Well, the constant thing is.
A
Yeah, you're right. I. I don't think I heard you say constantly. If it's something that it's someone. If it's like, for social media.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. Like, that context, I just thought, like, needs to be gassed up. I'm like, yeah, I'll guess them.
A
I posted, like, one post a year before, like, coming on the show. Like, I just. I Don't. I've. We found the fun side of it though. Like, I'm having so much fun on it now. Like, I just always thought, like you said, like, I need to be caring about like what the comments are saying. Like, how many likes I get on a post. I'm just like. Then I just kind of fell out of like, just love for social media and saw it as like, oh, influencer. Like, and now I'm like, man, it's so fun just going on tick tock and just.
B
Yeah. And being social. That what it's made for.
A
Just trolling and just being like, this is a stupid. It gets so stupid. But like, my buddy, like, that's the funniest thing I've ever seen. Like, thank you so much.
C
That's funny.
A
Yeah.
B
What's your tick tock? Me?
A
I think it's just Connor 9 Spees.
C
Yeah, I think.
A
I don't even know it. I think it's counter nine speeds and I just kind of do dumb stuff on there.
B
Dumb stuff. Like what?
A
She helps me out so much.
C
I like his like, social. What do I say? Consultant?
A
Because I just like, kind of like, funny. Thank you. But yeah, I just, I was like, oh, that's stupid. Like, no one's gonna think it's funny. And then I'm gonna get in my head. I'm like, three people liked it. It was like my mom and my dad. And so I'm like, that's when you kind of get into the. Like, I'll just like be at war with myself. She's like, just post it. And there's like a one of me like pulling down my sunglasses and like looking at the camera. And she's like, just do something like, you're a normal guy. I'm like, all right, 100, 000 views or some. I'm like, what are you. Like, that's crazy. And then just like I. I kind of make Love is blind Watch party. What are they called? Like, meals. What are those things called? Like, tailgate meal. What's the word I'm looking for?
B
I have no idea.
A
Like a. When you go to an appetizer or something, like something to bring to your watch party.
B
Okay.
A
So I kind of just made it up out of nowhere. No, not at all. But it's. Yeah, I know. That's the. That's. That's when people are like, what is that?
C
It's three ingredients.
A
So I did like, I did like Skyline Chili dip. Have you ever heard of it?
B
What is it?
A
Do you know Skyline Chili? No. It's an Ohio thing. You didn't read up on it.
B
Not Skyline.
A
Okay, so Skyline Chili for those polarizing. Skyline Chili for those that are new here or ad. It's just like a chili that's in. It's originated in Cincinnati. It just comes in, like a can or they've got their restaurants. I don't know how far. It obviously doesn't reach. Out to LA or Ask Ollie. Yeah, I've never heard of Skull Wine Chili, mate. That's actually Australian. That's my bad.
C
Yeah. I was like.
A
And so, yeah, it's just like a chili. It's a dip with chili cream cheese
C
and tons of cheese.
A
Tons of cheese. And so it's just a simple dip. And I lived in Cincinnati for seven years, so that's like their thing. So I made. I'm like, if you need something to watch or need something to bring to the Love is blind watch, party, like. And then so I like, cut it up. I make Eclipse and make a short video of just me cooking it. And it just kind of like, I
B
guess kind of blew up making it and sending it.
A
Yeah. People are like, it's so simple. Thank you so much. And it's so good. And like, Skyland Chili's like. Like, following me and just be like, what's up? Thanks so much for. It was really good. It's so good.
C
It's like.
B
Did you bring some today?
A
I should have.
B
You should have.
A
I didn't have anything. We got.
C
Yeah, you got it. You gotta carry.
A
I'm send you.
B
I'm look up the ingredients, and of the Skyline Chili, it's three things. Okay.
A
It's so easy.
B
Ick. Or stick. They leave their holiday decorations up way after the holiday is over.
A
Stick.
C
I mean, I'm sticking with it.
A
So it was an icky.
C
It was an egg, but I. I stuck.
A
Yep. What's your take on. On the Christmas tree thing?
B
I have no preference. I really don't care. Ollie ripped our tree down maybe. I don't know. Not right after the 26th. No. I came out of the bedroom, the tree was, like, clean. I was like, all right, I guess we're done.
C
Yeah.
B
I don't really care. He could have left it up. I. I mean, he put it up, so it was his job to take it down regardless.
C
Okay. Love that.
B
I wasn't touching it, so I didn't really care. Yeah. Yeah. But now we're stick. We're gonna stick.
C
Yeah. I mean, we're sticking.
A
We're here.
C
We're here.
B
Okay.
A
But it is down.
C
You didn't put one up this year. And maybe I, like, traumatized him. He's like, I'm not even gonna put it up.
A
Well, yours is just so nice.
C
Yeah.
A
And I was like, I don't put my. Like, I got. I don't have any ornaments with me.
B
Depressing Last one. Ick or stick. They still have the same exact haircut they had in high school.
C
Oh, that would be an ick.
A
Yeah, probably. Nick.
C
That's probably.
A
This is really nice hair, but I can't imagine. I mean, I had, like, frost.
B
I mean.
C
But girls, I'm like, my hair. Hair probably looks the same as high school.
A
No, it does. I saw high school.
C
Oh, no, I did.
B
I had the big swoop bang.
C
I was middle part or the side part. That's right. I did have parts change.
B
Okay. I'm a center part.
C
Yes. Girly.
B
Can you send in a picture?
A
I will.
C
It's like. It's like the iconic hairstyle back.
A
Yeah, it's like the Lizzie McGuire one, right?
C
Correct. And like, you have like, all the layers. Like, maybe it was black underneath or something.
B
Oh, my.
A
I. I accidentally had frosted tips, like, senior year.
B
Accidentally.
A
Yeah. Like, I worked at a. Like a T ball thing in the summer, and so I was just outside all the time. So like my. My. One of my senior pictures or something. It looked like I had, like, frosted. Because this, like, going into college, I had, like, frosted tips. I guess I was sun kissed. Yes. I mean, I've been asking Nick if he needs a backup singer.
B
That's funny what he said.
A
Yeah. Said he needs a backup dancer. I said, I. I can't do that. He's like, I don't need a singer, man. That's me.
B
I said, okay, well, that was fun. Thank you guys. And thank you again to K18 for sponsoring that segment. K18 has been breaking the rules and records since day one. Guys, before we go, what's next for you two as a couple?
C
Well, Once we get to this crazy chapter of airing, I was like, we need a vacation. We need to just do something that's just the two of us and just to regroup and just recenter. So I think like in the immediate we're like, we need to do that to kind of reset. But I would say from like a longer term perspective, you know, we talk about the future and we see both of ourselves in it together and maybe we talk about family and engagement and wedding dates and all the things. So I'm just gonna leave it at that. Yeah. Cause it feels like pretty well spoken. I feel like, I mean the Connor topic, travel.
B
Obviously we have a destination in mind,
C
but we wanna do a ski trip.
A
Yes. We've been talking about ski trips for.
C
Yeah, we didn't get ski one last year.
A
Exactly. Almost like a year ago. Actually it might be our anniversary.
C
When is the anniversary? When you're in love is blind you'. Is it the first day? Is it like the engagement? I'm like, I don't even know what time.
B
I don't know.
C
I don't know what our anniversary is. Like this week. Ish.
A
I think a year ago we talked for the first time.
C
Yeah.
B
Oh, how crazy.
C
Wow.
B
Happy anniversary. Your first five minute date. Ten minute date.
A
Yeah. Who'd have thought, huh? Look at us.
B
I love that. Well, I really appreciate you guys stopping by and giving us some more tea and clearing up some things and yeah, I'm so happy that you guys are still together. Like that just made my day. Like hearing that and seeing you guys. And again, I'm so obsessed with your connection and your chemistry. So I wish you guys nothing, nothing but the best.
A
Thanks so much. Yeah, we were, we were looking forward to this one so much. I was like, we're going to 80s podcast.
B
Yeah.
C
This is really fun.
B
If you're ever in L. A. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, you can do a little double date.
A
I want to meet Ollie so bad. Wait, who does he, what team does he support in the uk Soccer wise?
B
Yeah. I don't know
C
Connor and his soccer teams. I'm still learning that.
B
Wait, what, what is your team?
A
I like Crystal Palace. What part of. Is he from London?
B
Yeah.
A
Okay, there's a ton of teams in London, so it'll be interesting. If he says Manchester City, leave him.
B
Oh, that's. That's harsh.
A
It's like the Yankees.
B
Oh, yeah. We don't do Yankees. No.
C
Okay, that analogy. I didn't know that.
A
They just buy the things I like, learn.
B

In this episode, Amber Desiree sits down with Bri and Connor—fan favorites (and much-discussed couple) from the latest season of Love Is Blind—hot off the reunion taping. The trio dig into everything from life after filming to the realities of online backlash, unseen pod dynamics, their “unusual” engagement timeline, and memorable reunion drama. Bri and Connor open up about growth, healing, and the unique challenges (and joys!) of building a real relationship in the public eye, all with plenty of humor, heart, and the candidness Love Is Blind viewers have come to expect.
A playful segment where Bri and Connor weigh in on hypothetical relationship red flags:
Connor shares he’s now enjoying social media, even going viral for his “Skyline Chili Dip” TikTok.
Warm, candid, and refreshingly self-aware—Bri and Connor offer a look at the “real” after-reality TV: messier, more rewarding, and much deeper than what makes it on-screen. They navigate criticism, champion authenticity, and share the sometimes unglamorous (yet endearing) details of modern love, all with humor and humility.
For fans and newcomers alike, this episode is a heartening reminder: real relationships aren’t built in a reality TV vacuum—they require honesty, empathy, growth, and the courage to be yourself amid the noise.
