I really am. You mentioned that you were kind of dating celebrities, like, pre show. Let's get into it. Is there anybody that I would know or that the people would know? How's your dating going?
Leo
I haven't been dating that much.
Brittany
I feel like that's a lie.
Ad
There's rumors going around. Don't make me say it.
Leo
All right, all right.
Ad
What's the reality? What's the reality? All right, you guys. Welcome back to what's the Reality? Today we have Brittany and Leo joining us from season seven of Love is Blind. Welcome.
Leo
Hello.
Brittany
Thank you for having us.
Ad
Thanks for coming. First of all, stunning, per usual.
Brittany
Oh, thank you.
Ad
See?
Brittany
Same to you. Same to you.
Ad
Thank you. And I can't. You know, the watch is.
Leo
I know, I know. You wouldn't. You wouldn't. No one would talk about it.
Ad
Yeah, I was like, I don't need him on if he doesn't bring the watch because that's really who I want to interview.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
I'm just kidding. Can I see this watch?
Brittany
Oh, I hope that happens.
Ad
You can take it off.
Leo
Sure.
Ad
It's heavy.
Brittany
It is.
Leo
By the way.
Brittany
I feel like you should leave right now. Hold up.
Ad
Is this the day date?
Leo
And it's actually got my. You know, there's a. I know a.
Ad
Little bit of something about a Rolex.
Leo
Look at you knowing your stuff.
Ad
No, my man put me on.
Leo
Oh, yeah?
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
Do you have a Rolex?
Ad
Not yet.
Brittany
Not yet.
Ad
But I could. You could make a run for it. This is stunning.
Leo
It's actually got engraved on the back. It's got like my grandparents engraving. They got it from my great grandfather. It was like my great grandfather was born, like, very, very poor. And then my grandparents are the ones that made money. So this was like the, like, we made it, like, watch.
Ad
I love it.
Leo
You know, I plan to bring like a. Like a. Just a normal regular watch and then wear this Just for the reveal, because this is like the dressy watch, but I forgot my regular watch. And they don't really have like clocks in the lounge in the pods. So I was actually having to use this to check time, which I also think added to, like, because I was often like going like this. So I would like, hold it out, you know what I mean? And that just like, added to the, like, attend, like, drawing attention to it.
Brittany
Well, that makes sense, actually.
Ad
How are you guys?
Brittany
Good.
Ad
Yeah?
Brittany
Yeah.
Ad
There's so much I feel that I need to catch up on with you guys because there was so much I wanted to ask at the reunion, but naturally could not. So I'm happy that we have this time to kind of catch up and you guys just. I don't know. We'll start with you, Brittany. What's new?
Brittany
Okay, what's new? I feel like my life has just finally calmed down from, you know, love is blind. New seasonal. Thank goodness.
Ad
Yeah, I know that. I love that feeling. That's how I felt when you guys season came out. I was like, no one's talking about me.
Brittany
I know you don't get anxiety checking your notifications anymore. It feels so good.
Ad
Feels so good.
Brittany
Yeah. New. New love interest and.
Ad
Yeah, we're gonna get into that. What's new with you?
Leo
Let's see. So I'm living in New York now.
Ad
Okay.
Leo
So I'm kind of doing the art dealing up there.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And I'm very happy that there's a new season. You know, it's funny because during when. When our season was coming out, you know, we were always talking on the phone and it felt like there was like some crisis or something every, every day. So we'd always, like, answer and I'd be like, what? What's going on? And we still have that, like, ptsd. We've been like. Like when we call, she'd be like, is everything okay? We need to stop doing that.
Ad
Like, we spiral now. What's happening? Yeah, right.
Leo
We can call without it being an emergency.
Ad
Yeah. I love that. So you guys just chat on a daily. I'm guessing you're still. Are we still back best friends? Are we?
Brittany
Yeah.
Leo
Yeah, for sure.
Ad
What an unlikely but beautiful friendship here. I love this for you guys. So what is like day to day with you two? Just as friends?
Brittany
As friends. I feel like we don't talk every day.
Leo
Yeah. During the show we talked more now maybe like once a week, something like that.
Brittany
Definitely a once a week.
Leo
Like, Like a while folding laundry type situation. You know what I mean?
Ad
I love that. I love that. I don't feel like I'm close with any of the guys from my season like at all. Like none of them. Well, maybe like Ken a little bit, like he can. Is probably the only one that can text me randomly. But I love that you guys developed a friendship and that you're like able to maintain that. How special is that to you guys?
Brittany
I honestly couldn't imagine that not being the case.
Leo
Yeah.
Brittany
I feel like I feel bad for anyone who doesn't really have, you know, their, their matches back and vice versa because I don't know, it just feels more state. I don't know. It just feels good.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Yeah, for sure.
Brittany
Better to be together then.
Ad
I know because then you're like against each other and especially when you did it all together and then like you find yourself in like isolation nation.
Brittany
Yeah. We also, I feel like it was easier for us too because we didn't go to Mexico. We didn't.
Leo
Yeah.
Brittany
Film more where, you know, maybe we wouldn't have liked each other if we kept filming.
Leo
Right. There was like, there was like less chance for there to be some like super dramatic. And I also feel like we're lucky we don't have like, I don't know, I feel like neither of us have like drama with anybody else. Like we're all pretty friendly with the rest of the.
Ad
I love that. Speaking of Mexico, because I. This is what I wanted to ask you guys. Like, what was it like when you found out one, you weren't going and then two, hearing like that you guys are like the weakest couple and then you guys have like the strongest friendship right now. Like break all that down for me. Like, what was reveal day? Like, I need to hear all of that.
Brittany
I mean, just nothing could prepare you for that. It's just so awkward. Even if it was like my husband, it would still be so awkward. And I mean, I knew how I was the only person in the pods not saying I love you to anyone. All the other girls are like head over crying. Like, I love him so much. And I was like, oh, I, I knew I was not going to Mexico. I mean, for sure. I really, honestly that was never doubt my mind, but I feel like he disagrees with that.
Leo
Yeah, well, Britney knew. I feel like you knew more than I knew. Yeah, I mean I was saying it and she wasn't saying it back. So in hindsight it's pretty. It's pretty obvious that we wouldn't go.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And I mean, they weren't wrong. They said we Were the weakest couple. And it's, you know, we're not married. We are. We're a strong friendship couple, but that's not what the show is about.
Ad
Right? Yeah.
Leo
Right. But, yeah, I was, like, crushed. Like, I was super. I mean, who wouldn't want to continue with the experience? So I was super, super crushed when it happened.
Ad
Do you guys think if they came and was like, you know, we're going to try to make it work, that you would have been like, you know what? Yes. Or would you have been like, you know, I already know it's not going to. Oh, like, there's no point in going.
Brittany
No, I definitely would have went for sure. Because, I mean, you're there. You only have a certain amount of time at the reveal, so. And that's not really enough time to, you know.
Ad
And it's so weird. There's 9,000 cameras. You're sweating, you're nervous. Yeah. Would you have gone?
Leo
Yeah, I think I would have gone.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Yeah. I feel like where we had ended was like, we felt like we wanted to continue seeing where it went, but it wasn't like we were like, oh, my God, we're, were like, so amazing engaged, like, ready to be married, like, tomorrow. So I feel like we would have wanted that, which is actually why we, like, went to Miami. Like, we wanted to do our own off camera version of what would be the love that.
Ad
So tell me what was off camera, what, what was missed, what was said, like, get into Miami. I'm very intrigued about that.
Brittany
I feel like this is where we really drop the ball and disappoint people.
Leo
I know this is where everybody wants. I wish that we had some, like, amazing tea, that like, like some super spicy situation. But honestly, no, what I mean, how I felt was like, it became very, like, clear that there's a big difference between our proposal, which probably was a weak proposal as the producers picked up on, and then, like, actually getting married.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And I feel like we realized that we were just clearly better as friends. I mean, that's like, what that part. Part of the, like, experiment is about, like, we were like, hanging out together and it just was. I don't know, it became clear pretty quickly and then we kind of ended it, like, okay, I think we're gonna be in each other's lives, but we're not. We're not tying the knot.
Brittany
Yeah, yeah. More of a boyfriend vibe.
Leo
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Exactly. But like, when you're in the pods and you're like getting like you, it gets so deep so fast. It's. I feel like it. Like there are couples that talk about, should we just take, like, a step back and not get married? It never works out because that's not what it's, like, designed to do.
Ad
It's supposed to be intense, and you're supposed to learn and grow with that person and have that shared experience. And I feel like there was a lot of people on my season as well. That's like, we're just gonna step back and just, like, date. And I was just kind of like, let's just go full throttle, either all or nothing. And I think that's what the experiment is about. And I love that you guys are kind of like, nothing. I love that.
Brittany
I also love the intensity. I love. I love that.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
Relationships. I feel like I'm usually. I want everything right away.
Ad
I know, I know, I know. I'm kind of like that, too. I feel like before, like, I feel like post Love is blind. Now I'm love is blind coded. Like, everything in me is, like, immediate, quick, fast. Like, I'm asking the hardest questions immediately. Like, I want to know, are you ready to get married? Do you want kids? Whereas in the real, like, prior, I would never ask that stuff on, like, first and second dates. Now I can't. Are you doing well? We'll talk about you. How's your dating going?
Leo
I haven't been dating that much. I got to be honest. I'm boring. Oh, no. Since. Since the. Okay.
Brittany
So first of all, I feel like that's a lie.
Ad
I know.
Leo
No, it's not.
Ad
I've been following on Instagram, you know, I see what goes on. So don't get on here talking about, I'm not dating.
Leo
She's a friend.
Ad
Oh, okay.
Leo
She's a friend. She's a friend. She truly is.
Ad
Okay.
Leo
Yeah. A really good friend, but a friend.
Ad
Okay, well, before we get into that.
Leo
No, first of all, when the show is coming out, like, you know, we weren't supposed to date during the, like, release or, like, as it got pre release. Then during the actual release of the show. And I looked like, like, I'm not going to go on a date when everyone hates me. Like, I don't want to do that. And so I'm just starting to get out there. And I've gone on a couple dates, but I think one of the most, like, different things about going through the pods is everyone talks like, oh, you don't see the person. That's obviously a big thing. But I think even more impactful is how intentional it is. Like, you have this endpoint. It's like, you got to get engaged in, like, 10 days. And that's where I feel like I've become way more upfront. And maybe it freaks some people out if, like. Because even if you don't want something serious and you're like, are you looking for something serious? Because I'm not or something, they're still like, why are you, like, chill.
Ad
Right?
Leo
And I'm like, no, you don't want.
Ad
To waste any time.
Leo
Right? Exactly.
Ad
Knowing what you can do in 10 days.
Leo
Yes.
Ad
Changes the game. Low key. Like, because you're like, I don't have to sit around for four months for you to decide if you want me because I got engaged in 10 days. I know. A marriage material. Would you say that's one of your biggest takeaways, or do you guys have any big takeaways from Love is Blind?
Brittany
I feel like I learned a lot of communication because I am very quiet.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
And I'm just like, oh, la, la, la. Go about life, whatever.
Ad
And it forces you.
Brittany
Yeah. It just forces you to. To talk more about things to the person you're with. For sure. They should come out with a game. Like a little. I don't know, like a little questionnaire for dating. Love is Blind game. I want 10% commission.
Leo
Oh, yeah. Like. Like to like. Like a. Like a flashcard thing.
Ad
Yes.
Leo
Like on a date. That's actually a great idea.
Ad
You know, I guess one secret that people don't really know is, like, how they give us those journals with the prompts in it. And so we have prompts daily, and they kind of like, they don't tell you what to say. They kind of guide us and they give us, like, questions per day. Right. Did you guys. I feel like. I feel like on day, like two of mine, it was like, talk about sex. And I was like, I don't quite remember your name, but do you want to talk about this or no. We would all be like, maybe, maybe not. Did you guys have any awkward problems?
Brittany
No, actually. Well, that. I was very uncomfortable that day.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
You're like, I don't know. It was just like, maybe a little too soon. Maybe that could have been, like day seven or something. And I kind of. I low key judged the guys that were immediately.
Ad
Yeah, yeah.
Brittany
And he was the least. And I like that. He made me feel very, very comfortable in that situation. So. Yeah.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
You said something about wanting to be a trophy wife.
Brittany
I forgot I made that comment. And then I saw it and I said, oh, yeah, I Remember that.
Ad
How do we feel now? Are we still wanting that life? Judgment free zone.
Brittany
By the way, I think we will both be a trophy wife no matter what. Ok. That's what I'll say. You know.
Ad
I know, I know. That's right. But like, looking back, how do you feel? And I mean, I like everyone kind of.
Brittany
Yeah.
Ad
I don't know. There are a lot of opinions about it.
Brittany
I feel like people just thought I just wanted a guy to give me everything and I didn't and I could just be a housewife and do nothing. And that's just. That will never be me. I have so many passions. I pick up trash like once a month.
Ad
Like, what is your definition of a trophy wife?
Brittany
Oh, you know, good question. Yeah, I feel like a trophy wife would be someone that is just, you know, always learning, always growing, always trying to be their best self. I kind of like more of a traditional marriage vibe is definitely what I kind of want still. But yeah, we'll never just sit back and do nothing.
Ad
What is your definition of a trophy wife?
Leo
Oh, geez. You know, I. First of all, that was like a comment that Bernie made. I feel like you also made that as like half a joke when you said it.
Brittany
Yeah, for sure.
Leo
And. And so it wasn't like Britney was telling me, like, I want to be a trophy wife. And I'm like, yes, that's what I'm looking for. Like, I never saw you as that at all. But I guess, you know, it's funny because I feel like it's something that has like a negative connotation to it. But I feel like it. It doesn't have to. Like if. If you're, I guess, the kind of person that just wants to be like, like a rich, controlling jerk who just wants the wife to not say anything.
Ad
Right.
Leo
I get that as a trophy, but I feel like I do like the thought of like, like loving my wife so much that she feels like a trophy. Like, wow. Like, look what I. Like, look what I got. Like, look at this. Like, maybe it's like bad to say prize, but I feel like. I feel like a guy should be like, so proud of his wife.
Ad
And like, yes. Like, like, nothing wrong with that.
Leo
Yeah. Like. Like, yeah. Oh, that says I kind of do want a trophy wife, but like that type of trophy.
Ad
Proud of. Yeah, exactly. I love that. There's nothing wrong with that.
Leo
And I definitely want my wife to do stuff, whether it's work or have passion. I couldn't like personally, no shade against the. The whole trad wife Thing, but I. It's just not for me. I don't think I could. I think I need. I need to come home and have my wife want to talk to me about stuff that she's been doing too.
Ad
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I love that. I love that. Oh, you are a gentleman. I remember being at the interview, making me blush, like, Leo, so sweet. Because all I knew was what we all saw on tv. And he's such a dick. Like, all he cares about is this fucking watch and.
Leo
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ad
Money and art. And I was just like. But listening to you speak, like it's all, like ringing bells. Like, he is a sweetheart. He's very intellectual. Yeah. Very intelligent. Very. I love that. Okay, so more. I'm trying to get the tea. I really am. I really.
Brittany
Because I feel like these eyes.
Ad
What's. Really, like, what's. I feel like you guys had a platform to speak, but I feel like as individuals at the reunion didn't really get to say too. Too much. And I feel like there's a lot that me and you can relate on just in general, just being us. You mentioned that you were kind of dating like celebrities, like, pre show. Let's get into it.
Brittany
Oh, my God.
Ad
Is there anybody that I would know or that the people would know?
Brittany
Probably.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
Probably the fifth.
Ad
Oh, you know.
Leo
No.
Ad
Or maybe.
Leo
No, I don't know.
Brittany
Okay. Right before the show, before I got casted, I was dating someone. I will not say who because he was with someone. I just feel like I want to respect, you know, each party, but it was like a very old classic rock and roll band. Maybe some face paint was involved. And that's all I will say other than that lips are sealed way.
Ad
Okay. Interesting.
Brittany
And then, like others, I just have a tendency to go for musicians and it's not. I don't even. Like, it just happens in such a natural way. I don't go seeking it out like they like most of Flames. I don't know. They just find me. It's very bizarre.
Ad
If I was a musician, I would find you 100%. You would be on my radar. Like, you just give that. You should be with a shirt that says, I'm with the band in the best way, in the most respectful way. So were you or were you not dating before you went on Love is Blind? Like, were you not in a relationship? Because what was all this? You were cheating. Can you clear all this up, please?
Brittany
I was never in a relationship while filming, and there will never be proof of that. So it's just not true.
Ad
Okay, so what. Where did that come from.
Brittany
That person? I wouldn't be careful, because I do really. I mean, it's kind of hard when they sell you out to TMZ to really have respect and love for that person anymore. But that is somebody who was in my life for four years, and we've been through a lot together, and. And, you know, like, I was there when it's. I. We just shared so much. It was someone that I met during COVID It was a coveted relationship, and then we kind of fell on and off without giving any personal details.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
From issues that, you know, he brought along to the relationship, and I just really liked and respected him. And after the show aired and, you know, when you come back, I feel like we all came back kind of down, depressed, and we just went back to our ex for a comfort fling. And he treats me. He treated me well, treated me very, very nice. And, I don't know. I want to be really careful with my words. But, yeah, he was a great guy. And, yeah, that was blindsiding, I think.
Ad
Is he still a great guy today? Do you guys talk? What's.
Brittany
We've talked once since the.
Ad
The sellout.
Brittany
The thing. Yeah. Good way to put it.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
But I don't see myself talking to him ever again, to be honest.
Ad
Okay. Respect. So during the reunion, you've revealed that you're dating someone.
Brittany
Yes.
Ad
Are you still dating someone? I am still. And who is that someone?
Brittany
His name is Mod Sun.
Ad
Okay. Mod Girl. We knew that. We knew that. Let's get into it.
Brittany
I love.
Ad
Are we in love? Like, what's. We're in love.
Brittany
Oh.
Ad
She's like, yep. Yes, I am.
Brittany
I like him a lot.
Ad
Okay. So how many months would you say it's been?
Brittany
A few months.
Ad
Yeah. She's like, no. No number.
Brittany
We met in October, and honestly, just from the day we met, we've just been pretty inseparable ever since.
Ad
How did you feel when all that broke and you guys were, like, coming out the concert and everybody kind of saw.
Brittany
Oh, we were both shocked.
Ad
Yeah. How did they. Like, what Was it just you guys happened to come out? Or do you think that was a someone called and was like, hey, Britney's with someone?
Brittany
I mean, we don't know. Yeah, I was at his concert with Alex.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
And then we went to on the Rocks, which. I've never been there before. I didn't even know it existed. And we. Then the next morning, there's like, a blurry video of us kissing in the nightclub.
Ad
That's your Man.
Brittany
Yeah.
Ad
Yeah. Oh, I'm so happy for you.
Brittany
Thank you.
Ad
Have you met him?
Leo
No, I think I'm gonna meet him.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
He's gonna be the first day. You wanna come? Don't have to worry.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
We also have a pact and I'm putting this on camera on film and we both have invited to each other's weddings packed. I mean, you have to.
Brittany
Yeah, for sure.
Ad
No matter who it is.
Leo
No matter who it is. No matter who it is. Forever. You better be.
Brittany
I will.
Ad
Of course.
Leo
Damn right.
Ad
Oh my gosh, you guys. You think this friendship would kind of hinder your future relationships? Like, what if they're like, I don't want you talking to Brittany or I don't want you talking to Leah.
Brittany
I feel like that's actually came up quite a bit.

Brittany
With TMZ Guy. I feel like he had this like a little bit of jealousy towards Leo and I'm like, I don't know. I'm like, it's Leo. Like, we've. I get it.
Ad
To beat the allegations, y'all.
Brittany
Yeah. He carries the term like ex fiance. So I see how that would be a little uncomfortable to our future relationships.
Leo
And stuff, but I get that. I mean, it's also like, I would. It'd be one thing if we were like seeing each other every single day. Like, that's weird. But I feel like we're just like talking on the phone. I don't know. I don't also, I'm just going to say one thing about the whole TMZ guy thing. You know, we talked on the phone a lot about it, and I'm just going to say so much.
Brittany
I don't know how I made it through without him, to be honest.
Leo
All I'm going to say is Brittany very much so took the high road in that situation. That's all I'm going to say about it.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
Well, is that all? Because. Why, like, what. What do you mean? What do you mean?
Brittany
Like, I just feel like I didn't retaliate.
Ad
That's what I mean.
Leo
Yeah. She said I'm not gonna. Like, she wasn't gonna go slinging mud, even though there was plenty of stuff to say. I just don't think you're that kind of person.
Brittany
Yeah.
Leo
And you just.
Brittany
And I never wanna be, like. I just. It's just not. I don't want any. I just wanna. I don't know. I just wanna be done with it.
Ad
Yeah. I think that's the classiest thing to do, especially in this. We are the ones that are really in the limelight, and it's like, we're the ones that get dragged and we, like. I think one of the most powerful things we can do is keep our mouth shut. And that was something I had to do a lot in my season as well. It's just kind of like, stay cute, stay mute, and just let things. I know.
Brittany
I love those topics.
Ad
Tiffany, she told me she's like, keep it cute, keep it mute. And I was like, you know what? Keep it cute and keep it mute. And that has been, like, my thing until now. We're loud and proud, but, yeah, it's hard. It's hard. Especially when you're like, I could ruin you right now. Like, you're literally trying to drag me, and I can ruin you. So I commend you for. For doing that and for you. Being her backbone is so. That's lovely.
Leo
I wouldn't say backbone, but I was at least there to listen to. We're both there for each other to venture and whatnot. Yeah.

Y'all are so cute. Like, the support is. Is everything because that's. I keep saying it, but that's something like you really hope to gain from these experiments is like, you don't leave here alone and you have somebody that understands and that's not judging you. And I see that for you guys. I really love it. Speaking of you, let's talk about your journey a little bit. You came off as quite the guy on. On your season. You talked a lot about your money, your success, your Rolex. Tell me, how is that getting all the feedback? Now, looking back, is there anything you would change? Like, what. Why did you. Why did you present as that guy?
Leo
You know, I feel like I didn't realize how much I presented as that guy until it was watched back. I mean, I don't think that I was.
Brittany
No, like, that was news to me.
Leo
None of the other.
Brittany
We didn't talk about it. We had that one conversation that was shown.
Leo
The irony is I was, like, very, like, hesitant to talk about it because I know it sounds crazy, but I am, like, kind of touchy about it. But then it got shown in a way that I was, like, in a weird way trying to, like, reverse psychology brag about money. Like, I don't want to talk about money as a way to let you know I have a lot of money. Like, no, I wasn't trying to do that. Like, but I don't think, like, most of the guys. All the guys and. And girls are like, I didn't know he was an art dealer. I didn't know he had money. I didn't know he was wearing a Rolex.
Ad
So.
Leo
But I will still say that even, you know, I guess it had to be taken from somewhere. So I did still watch it and, like, try and internalize it and be like, maybe sometimes when you try to not talk about something, it's like, don't think about this. Then you end up saying it more.
Ad
Yeah, but. Yeah, so even though in your, like, interviews, like, your one on ones, you talked about it a lot.
Leo
Well.
Ad
Or did they just keep asking you?
Leo
There's a lot of questions about it.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And. And also a lot of it that wasn't shown was like, it's in the context of, like, my family. And like, Like, I had a lot of family tragedy that led to it.
Ad
Yeah. Yeah.
Leo
And I feel like it also got shown that was like, oh, like. Like this. If there was one thing that I felt a little bit like, I wish it wasn't shown in a certain way. It was like, it made it look like I was like, so my whole family died, but, like, I got some money, so that was cool. It's like, no, like, it did give that. No, because, like, what they don't show is like, all the times I was, like, bawling my eyes out about it and all this stuff. And so I, like, a lot of it was in the context of. Because, like, here's. Here's how it could very much be. So, like, what do you do? Oh, I'm an art dealer.
Ad
Oh.
Leo
How'd you get into that? Well, it's a family business. Oh, so, like, do you. Do you work for your family? Well, no, they passed away. Oh. So how did that happen? Well, I inherited. Oh. How does the business do? Well, it pays the bills. So, like. Like, what kind of art? And then you can see how it very quickly turns into a money thing. And so. Yeah. So anyways, so around that, do you.
Ad
Feel like you were portrayed accurately, or do you feel like you got, like, a bad edit?
Leo
Even if you get what you feel is not an accurate edit, it's not like that someone was, like, out to get me.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
I feel like anybody who makes the show, they have a job to make it entertaining. And I. I felt that I looked kind of zany, but I didn't. I didn't think I looked like this. Just absolutely reprehensible, like. Like, person. And I. I guess it's also easier for me to be okay with it because I felt like I ended up getting a little bit of a redemption arc towards the end.
Ad
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Leo
So. Yeah. So maybe a little bit. But I feel like anybody who's portrayed not well, it's gonna feel like they had a bad edit. Maybe I just was that guy and just felt like that. So I don't know. I try and I try and, like, see the. See. See both sides of it.
Ad
Yeah, I love that. So you guys are in a bit of a love triangle. You. You and Hannah.
Leo
Yes.
Ad
Okay. What was that like for you?
Leo
Oh, I mean, like, you get. I was, like, pulling my hair out every single day. Yeah. Were you in a love triangle?
Ad
Was I.
Leo
Wait, wait, wait. John, you click. Oh, yeah, yeah. And. And wait. Yes. And Matt. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Clark, Ken, guy. Yes.
Ad
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So we all know that is not the best thing to be in. I was on the side where I kind of got to pick almost, but I. I guess I was kind of in, like, a love square, because also the other Amber was a part of my love square. So. Yeah. How was it for you being in.
Brittany
I didn't know I was in one until I accidentally said his name, because I literally thought for sure we were each other's only person, because we didn't really talk about it.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
And I just felt so strongly. I was like, certainly he does not have someone else. How dare you?
Leo
We were really to not talk about it and to not talk about other connections. Yeah.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And then after that, I, like, you know, came clean.
Ad
I guess I feel like by, like, day five or six, we all just were, like, spilling the. Like, the beans. We couldn't stop talking about who was our number one and blah, blah, blah. And I think. I think that got us in a lot of trouble.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
Yeah, I think. I wish. Yeah, I wish we would have held our cards closer because we just could not stop talking. And I think it ruined a lot of relationships because I remember, like, if one of my friends was like, I'm dating such and such, I would go on a date immediately and be like, hey, we should break up.
Brittany
Yeah.
Ad
Like, to the point where my producer came into the lounge and was like, hey, Ad, can you please stop breaking up with people? And I was just like, well, they're dating my friend. And he's like, okay, but they're dating you too. Like, you're supposed to find your husband. And I was just like, oh, actually, you're right. I broke up with, like, three people in one day. I was like, hey, this is not gonna work. Like, I felt so bad. And he's like, stop. Like, weigh your options. Like, talk to people. Date people. And I was just like, you know what?
Brittany
You're right.
Ad
And then I stopped. But then I ended up, you know, anyway. Do you think that things would have worked out with Hannah had you picked her?
Leo
I don't think so.
Ad
Yeah. Why?
Leo
I guess seeing, like, some of the footage back, I just don't think she would have been my person. Yeah, like, seeing, I guess, a little bit of how. How she interacted with Nick. But at the same time, I do think Hannah's a great person, and I'm actually friendly with Hannah. Like, we talk on the phone, too.
Ad
Hannah.
Leo
I think she's awesome.
Ad
Okay, hold on. Because. And not to, like, compare and contrast to Nick, but the reality is you guys are on different levels in your life. You guys, like, you're more, like, successful in your career. I'm sure he's, you know, better off in his now, but at the time, you probably would have been exactly what she was looking for, considering she wouldn't have had to train you or teach you or, you know, don't you think we probably would have seen, like, maybe a different side of her?
Leo
That's probably true. I think that's fair to say. I think.
Ad
What?
Leo
Like, I think the reason that I don't think her and I would have worked out is also. I know it is hard to believe Britney was my number one. And I know that, like, I freaked out when Hannah broke up with me. What that really was was less of like, a, oh, my God, you're my Number one. And then going to Brittany. But it was like. It was like me being a control freak and wanting, like. Like, I deserve to have these options. Like, yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm the one in the love triangle. And that was. That was, like, a big thing that, like, I had to check my ego. And that was, like, I think one of the biggest growth things that, like, I had from the show.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
But anyways, I think that even just looking back, I just don't. I just don't think she would have. But I don't think it's, like, an. Like, it's, like, not a knock on her. I just don't think we would have. I think we're also really similar people. Like, we've talked about her, and I have the same, like, Myers Briggs personality type. I don't know if it's like. Like, these letters and stuff. I think we would be, like, too similar.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
We both also talk a lot. I think we talk over each other. I think we had, like, a lot of fun, but I don't think we would have worked out.
Ad
So we kind of mentioned it before a little bit earlier, but you said you're dating. You're not dating. It's a friend. There's rumors going around. Jill. Okay, let's get into it. Don't make me say it.
Leo
All right, all right. So, yeah, it's shown on social media. Is Leo dating Ali Shapiro, the daughter of Jill Zarin? The answer is no. We are super good friends. I'll tell you how it happened, though, because it's kind of a funny story. So after the show, I mean, I think we all get pretty bizarre DMs.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And so this is like a Jewish thing, by the way. Jewish. I get so many comments. Literally, just yesterday, Jewish mothers will be like, my daughter, be perfect for you. She's 28. She has a good job, she's cute. She lives in Chicago. But you could, like. So I get a DM from this woman who's like, my daughter will be perfect. And I do see a blue check. And so I click on the profile, and I realize that it's Jill Zarin. I don't follow the Real Housewives very much, but I realized quickly it was more like, okay, this is not like, a random, crazy person.
Ad
Like.
Leo
And so I kind of responded. She was like, I think my daughter will be great, but she sent a very nice message. She was like, whether you date or are just friends, I think you would all get along because we have a ton of things in common. So, okay, religion Ally and I, both. Reality TV stuff.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Both in the art world. She worked for, like, a really elite auction house for a while. And on a more sad note, we both lost a parent to, like, cancer kind of later in life. And so we. I was already going down to Miami for Art Basel, which is where they. They like, split time between Miami and New York. And they were down there and I met them like at the main art fair there. And it was like, the moment that we met, I felt like we knew each other for, like, years. It was like such like, truly just great friend vibes. And since then we've just been hanging out a lot and we did like, film some fun Tiktoks and then I guess Page Six or whoever had fun running with it. And so it kind of became a thing. But no, we are just really, really good friends.
Ad
Okay, so now I have to ask you because my. My brain is kind of spiraling. You keep meeting these people, beautiful women that you click with on all these levels and then you're friend zoning them. Well, I don't think I friend Leo, friend zoner. I friend zone. Because what is it that's missing? You know what I mean? Like, what is it that you feel like, she's beautiful, she's perfect, and as soon as I met her, she was just this amazing friend. What is. What is missing?
Leo
Okay, I don't think that's a fair question because I think you can meet people and click as friends. Friends.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Like, I feel like both of us. It wasn't like I feel. Felt like I didn't feel like either of us either way, felt like a romantic connection. Yeah. You know what? Okay, I think this goes back to what we talked about earlier with his, like, intentionality. To me, if I. If I see someone and they're like, friendly. I don't. Maybe this is a wrong way of looking at. I don't view it as like, well, like, could we be friends, but then maybe like dating later. This. It's more like if I want to date somebody, then we're dating. I just. I don't know. I guess I don't fight the vibe. And like, we all met. Honestly. I know it's gonna sound crazy. She feels almost like family more than friends. Like, I stayed at their house down in like, like in Boca and stuff. I feel like you're also taking two things and making it a pattern. Like Brittany and I situation. You can't compare to, like, this. It's like a totally different.
Ad
Just saying, like, what. I guess my question is, what I know we said intentionality, and I know you're kind of like, are you looking for someone serious? And if you are, what is it? That would be like, the key that would make you be like, you know what? I'm gonna take this person a little bit more serious and maybe not family friend zone them.
Brittany
You just can't fight the vibe.
Leo
You just can't find. I don't know what to.
Ad
Are you on dating apps?
Leo
I literally just re downloaded them in New Year's and I haven't been on them at all.
Ad
Okay.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
So you want to date?
Leo
Yeah, for sure.
Ad
You want. You're looking for a wife.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
Okay.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
Okay. But we just don't know what is the missing link.
Leo
I think a lot of the show forced me to, like, reevaluate. What? Like, just a lot of myself.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And I think so. I know I don't have a satisfying answer for you. If I had the answer to your question, I would have a wife right now.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Or I'd have at least a fiance.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
So I think I'm still figuring it out.
Ad
Okay.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
Figuring out.
Leo
I think I'm figuring it out.
Ad
That's okay.
Leo
Yeah. I'm figuring myself out a lot, too. So. Yeah.
Ad
Okay.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
So for the record, if you DM him, you will be friends.
Leo
Don't say that. Don't say that.
Ad
He's only looking for a friend. Just kidding. Shoot. Your shot. You never know. You might be the vibe. We don't know. We don't know.
Leo
Oh, man.
Brittany
He ghosted one of my friends on Raya.
Leo
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. That's not true. We actually are gonna go on a date. We actually are gonna go on a date. Ok. She said she's moving to New York also.
Brittany
Yeah.
Ad
So, you know, she's like.
Brittany
Leo never answered me back.
Ad
Oh.
Leo
Because.
Ad
Well.
Leo
Okay.
Ad
Oh, my God.
Leo
Okay, so I didn't realize that she was your and Kate's friend because she, like, she said, like, an inside joke. Like, Brittany and Kate are gonna be mad. But I thought that she just, like, followed you.
Ad
Yeah. From the show.
Leo
From the show.
Brittany
And then I realized she was a crazy fan.
Ad
Wait, why'd you ghost her?
Leo
Well, it's like a dating app. Like, you get, like, a lot of messages. It's not like ghosting in real life. It was, like, regular. Also.
Ad
I thought it was like, virtual. Virtual ghost.
Leo
It was like a virtual ghost. Yeah. Also. Okay, this is one thing that does make dating a little weird is I've gone on a few dates and I've also, like, had people come up to me, like, at a bar. And I've. One thing that makes me, I guess, uncomfortable is I've had girls be like, oh, my God. Like, I know who you are. Like, I've seen you. And, like, I feel like I'm the perfect person or my friend's the perfect person. I'm like, you.
Ad
You know, a version.
Leo
I knew. You know, a version. And I'm not saying it's not a full version, or it's. I know it's not the full version. So it's, like, weird when. And I've been on a date, and the girl's, like, bringing up stuff in on the show, and so it feels weird. Like, I can't say that shouldn't be relevant, but it feels weird to have that be, like, part of. Yeah, no, I feel you like a relationship.
Ad
I feel that. Yeah, well, there's that, because I definitely feel that. I feel like there's guys that have tried to talk to me in the past, but, like, their only reference is love is blind. And I'm just like. I don't want to actually talk about me being left at the altar, actually. That sucks. Can I get another other drink?
Leo
What do we.
Ad
Like, what are we doing? Do you feel like you cleared up everything about your dating? Not dating. Do you guys feel clear on, like, you cleared it all up?
Brittany
I mean, I definitely didn't clear up anything for anyone watching, but I feel clear.
Ad
Yeah. Yeah.
Brittany
I hope we all feel. Feel clear and just, you know, just. Things happen. They suck. It sucks that anyone had to see me meet someone. Anyone that saw me that, like, still care about me, like, see me with another guy in a very public way that. How did that fucking. Yeah, that sucks.
Ad
Yeah. That's tough. It is what it is. It's life. You know, you had a chance and you blew it. That's how I see it. Life goes on.
Brittany
Yeah. Life has to keep going on.
Ad
Yeah. Are you guys watching any reality shows?
Brittany
Well, watched all of season eight of Love is Blind. Of course.
Ad
We love that.
Brittany
But Maud and I have been watching Pamela's Garden of Eden. It's Pamela Anderson redoing her.
Ad
That's so on brand.
Brittany
We're upset. Obsessed. I want to redo my whole house now.
Ad
Wait, what is that on Hulu, I think. Okay.
Brittany
Yeah, it was on hgtv, though.
Ad
I'm gonna have to check that out. So good. Oh, my God. And she's in where, Canada.
Brittany
Yeah.
Ad
And you're inspired.
Brittany
I'm inspired. Yeah. I'm gonna. All White. It's like, very my vibe. Like, all white, just shabby chic. A little bit. A little bit modern. Do you imagine Sustainable taste. Our houses could not be more different.
Ad
Really?
Brittany
His looks like a crayon box spilled all over everything. Oh, no. I have all white walls and nothing.
Ad
Oh, no.
Brittany
I could live in, like, a white cardboard.
Ad
Yeah, I just.
Brittany
I don't know. That's super peaceful to me.
Ad
Oh, my God. Wait, what's your house style?
Leo
Like, a lot of art on the walls.
Ad
Yeah, I guess, naturally. Yeah, naturally. Okay.
Brittany
I went from the art dealer to the artist.
Leo
That's true.
Ad
You gotta type.
Leo
The artist is always the one who wins in the end.
Ad
Oh, wait, so are you watching anything?
Leo
Honestly, I'm just scrolling the hell out of TikTok.
Ad
Stuck on TikTok. Me too. What's your algorithm right now?
Leo
I've been really just getting into what Gen Z is into. I'm trying to learn all the terms. Yeah, because I don't have, like, a younger sister. I don't even know what they mean. I'm just learning, like, skibidi.
Ad
Skibidi.
Leo
You're a skibidi.
Brittany
I don't know what that means.
Leo
It's like. I just know it's a thing. I think it's just like a. It like, means nothing. But they just throw it in front of. So, like, like, we all heard in a sentence, okay, we all heard the term riz.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And then they'll say skibidi, Riz. I don't know. And then there's something like. Well, I'm trying to. I'm trying to, like, stay understanding what. What. What these kids are doing.
Ad
Okay? So skibidi.
Leo
And as you can tell, I'm failing.
Ad
Can you use it in a sentence, please?
Leo
I only see it in comments. Okay, like, it'll just be like, skibidi. And then they'll get like 10,000 likes. I'm like, but why? Why?
Brittany
He wants to learn how to get 10,000.
Ad
I'm gonna go on Tick tock. It's just gonna be Leo. Like, skibidi, skippity. Skibidi, skippity. Under every comment. I'll like it. If I see it. I will like it.
Leo
It's gonna be skibidi. And then someone's gonna comment like, no.
Ad
Okay, I'm gonna look into the. Remind me to look up skibidi. All right, well, in season eight of Love is Blind, how do we feel? Hot takes.
Leo
I gotta say that the memes are killing me. Like, all the sleeping face emo. Yeah, that's gotta be almost worse. That's gotta be like such an ego punch to like, for all those folks to, to see all the memes that are like most boring season ever. Whoever came up with Love is bland is hilarious.
Ad
Yeah, that was, that was, that was, that was actually very diabolical. But I laughed because it is, y'all, especially coming off of your season and the drama and then the snooze fest that is season eight.
Leo
I was telling them, put me in, Coach.
Ad
I know.
Leo
I saw put my wrecking ball ass in.
Ad
Would you go back in? No, no, I imagine no.
Brittany
I saw a comment on. Well, actually I didn't because I don't go on Facebook, but my best friend sent me a screenshot of a Love is Blind Facebook thread and it said I missed the art dealer.
Ad
So you've been doing a lot of commentary about the show and reality TV in general. What's going on? Like, tell me what's happening with this.

Leo
I guess I've just been having fun, like sharing my thoughts because I feel like I have. I feel like I have a unique perspective. Yeah, because I kind of like, I've seen both sides of like the from being kind of a villain to maybe being redeemed. So I feel like I try and I'm trying to come from a place of like defending them, not like saying that they're necessarily good people. I don't know them, but I feel like, for example, having been in a love triangle myself, that's really what I'm focusing on now. I don't. Because I can only really comment on the pods. We didn't do the second portion. I'll still comment on it, though. Everyone can have an opinion. Right.
Ad
It'll just be less exciting.
Leo
Like, yeah, you already use it better than me. You haven't even seen. Yeah, like, that made sense.
Ad
I couldn't tell you if that was the right context or not, but I love it. You threw it out there. I love the confidence. Would you guys have wanted someone. Because surely there was a lot of opinions. Would you have wanted someone doing the commentary that you're doing for this season for y'all and have your back? Do you feel like. Yeah, people, you lack that support, and that's why you're kind of.
Leo
Yeah, that's what I feel like. Because, well.
Brittany
Yeah, you got the worst.
Leo
Everyone with me just was like, this guy seems like the worst. And, like, making.
Brittany
Yeah. Just, like, essay comments about him. I'm like, there's literally 15 people watching us. Like, I was not.
Ad
Yeah, yeah, yeah. In trouble. Yeah.
Brittany
People. It was just really hard for me to not say anything because we had to wait till the reunion, and at that time, it had passed.
Leo
But, I mean, I had comments because of the thing. Because I didn't seem to be, like, sad about my family. There was a whole Reddit thread, like, insinuating that I murdered my family.
Ad
Jesus.
Leo
And, like, they need to call the police on me because I seem to have display, like. Like, sociopathic tendencies. I'm like, what?
Ad
Yeah. So now you're putting on your cape to save season eight?
Leo
Yeah. I mean, I think the cape is very small. Let's be. Let's be fair. Let's be fair. But I'm doing my small.
Ad
You're doing your small part.
Leo
My small part. Yeah.
Ad
So can you guys both share, like, a secret from your season that no one knows about, like, anything, like, BTS or.
Leo
So this one has to do actually with me and Hannah.
Ad
Okay.
Leo
So after the. The whole. Everything went down.
Ad
What's. Everything went down?
Leo
Like, me freaking out at her in the pods, all that stuff. Like.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
I think I might have seen her, like, once at, like, a random thing, but basically we didn't talk. I don't think we, like, hated each other, but we just didn't talk. It felt weird.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And when I learned that I was going to the reunion, I felt, like, very. I didn't know if I should, like, call her beforehand. Do I say before? Like, I was super conflicted. I was actually, like, really, really, like, Stressing about it. And I ended up calling Garrett. And I was like, should I, like, apologize to Hannah before? And I start, like, weeping. I'm like, crying uncontrollably. And he's like. I was like, I don't want her to think that, like, an apology at the reunion would be, like, performative. You know what I mean? And he's like, you sound genuine. You should. I think you should call her. So I call. I hang up and I call Hannah right afterwards. And I'm like, crying my eyes out. And I'm like, I'm so sorry. I never really said sorry. And I'm like, I just. It was so unbecoming of me and all this stuff. And she was like, first of all. She's like, first of all, I forgive you. Second of all, I've lived, like so much more of my life since then. It's like a tiny chapter. And then we ended up like, chatting for like an hour and a half, just about, like the show and life. And so I guess what maybe isn't as known is that the real apology to her was like a week before the reunion. Off camera.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
And so that's why, like, in the reading, it was. I just. And I felt very, like, spiritually cleansed, that I wasn't, like, doing it as like, a performance.
Ad
Yeah. Yeah.
Leo
So I guess that was.
Ad
Do you think you would have had that breakdown on the stage had you not called her?
Leo
Yeah, I actually do think I would have. And I think that I, like, I thought really hard about it because I. If I would have done that, it probably actually would have looked better for me. Like, oh, my. No, I think would be like, oh, my God, he's crying about it. He feels so bad. But I was like, she doesn't deserve, like. Because if someone was in that situation and I saw them crying, I'd be like, are you still, like, saving this for the camera? So I. I actually, like, used my, like, emotional card off camera.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
So then I. Then I felt like she got the real deal thing and.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Didn't, like, have this performance.
Ad
Yeah. And it showed. It was very, like, heartfelt. And I think even me just as the viewer, just being like, okay, wow, this is very intentional. And it made me like, almost obviously I had my preconceived, you know, judgments of you, but it made me, like, wipe the whole slate. And I was like, actually this is a stand up guy. Like, okay.
Leo
Oh, thank you.
Ad
So, yeah, I think that call before probably change the game for you. Yeah, Good call.
Leo
Thanks. Yeah, I know it's not like the spiciest.
Ad
No, that's okay. But that's good to know. Like a little insight. What about you?
Brittany
I feel like we didn't really have much drama as a season in the pod portion.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
But the girls are super. We were kumbaya in there. We had an affirmation game. We would hide this little voodoo doll looking thing. I don't know, it's called the Perfect Husband.
Ad
Oh.
Brittany
And he literally looked like a voodoo doll. We would hide him in the pods and whoever found him, we would have to give positive affirmations to him.
Ad
Oh, my God.
Brittany
So we were so fine over there.
Leo
Oh, that's so cute.
Brittany
But I guess like drama or like tea. I feel like no one knows who else I was talking to except for Leo. And my number two and three were Steven and David.
Ad
Interesting. Are you still cool? Cool, like the girls and stuff? Yeah. Yeah. Who closest with?
Brittany
Probably Hannah.
Ad
Okay.
Brittany
Hannah. Alex.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
Marissa, Katie. I mean, I like them all. It's just I live in Baltimore and a lot of them are like, closer. I don't know. That's just like, who I'm closest to a lot now. Yes. Because my.
Ad
Because you're me.
Brittany
My guy lives out here.
Ad
I know. That's right.
Leo
Yes.
Ad
Let's play a fun game. I think it's going to be fun.
Leo
Ready?
Ad
If you could date any Love is Blind cast member, past or present, who would you go on a date with and why Is it.
Leo
I feel like it's bad to say someone who's married.
Ad
No, it's respectful. I mean.
Brittany
Yeah.
Leo
Who, you know, I think is absolutely one of the most gorgeous, amazing women that I think is like, absolutely Lauren from season one.
Ad
Lauren.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
Stunner.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
I was like in love with her watching that screen.
Ad
Oh, wait, what about her?
Leo
She's just the complete package.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Beautiful, educated, smart. She seems like a great person. I think she was like that. I think she was like.
Ad
She's the full package.
Leo
Yeah. So if I would have gone, if I. If I could go on, maybe that's like more answering. If I could have, like, married somebody. Okay. Yeah. But I think she would have been. I think she's like. She's still married.
Ad
She's still very much married. And I think her husband would kill you if you tried anything.
Leo
I know. It wasn't, you know, it was just. I'm happy for her.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
Oh, my God.
Ad
Wait. Okay, your turn. Who would you date?
Brittany
I feel like I've never watched and be like, o, I like that guy. You Know, I haven't seen, like, a season like Germany or Sweden. I feel like I would, like. I would like a European guy. I feel like I'd probably. That'd be my choice.
Leo
Yeah. That'd be fun.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Yeah.
Brittany
Deep enough for me.
Ad
Yeah. Oh, my God. You know what? I feel like Freddie from Love Is Blind, uk.
Brittany
Oh, my God. So many people have said that.
Ad
Because you guys are both angels, like, sweethearts.
Brittany
Oh, thank you.
Ad
And I feel like he would treat you very trophy, like.
Brittany
Well, mod fucks up.
Ad
Interesting. But he's not like a rock star or anything. He's just, like, somebody that handles dead people a lot.
Brittany
What. What's he do?
Ad
Yeah, he, like, runs a funeral.
Brittany
That's good money.
Ad
That's good money is crazy. She's like, there's always gonna be a body.
Brittany
I can overlook a thing or two.
Ad
Oh, my God.
Brittany
I'm kidding. That's not really.
Leo
That's an incredible answer.
Ad
Oh, that's funny. That's good money. Okay.
Brittany
Freddie, I'm kidding. I gotta. I'm gonna get in trouble to come.
Leo
Okay.
Ad
I love that for you. This girl.
Brittany
Let her.
Ad
She knows what she wants. Okay, so, Lauren, Freddie, in case you guys ever break up or single, we could maybe run that back.
Leo
No, we'll just be friends. Like I am with every single girl that I meet, apparently.
Ad
Friend zone.
Leo
Friend zone.
Ad
Friend zone. We're getting you out the friend zone. And once you get these girls out of it, I need you to call me and be like, hey, I'm no longer friend zoning.
Leo
Okay?
Ad
I want it like. I want to hear. I want to hear what it was when you met. When you've met that person that you're like. Immediately, I knew.
Leo
All right, I'll come back.
Ad
Yeah, Okay. I want to hear it.
Leo
Okay.
Ad
Because I'm. I'm very interested.
Leo
Okay.
Ad
Okay. I'll hold you to that.
Leo
All right.
Ad
So staying on the kind of realm of dating, what is either of you your most cringy dating story or, like, you were on a date and this happened or freaked you out?
Brittany
Well, and I will never do this again. Let me just start by saying this one time, I waited an hour for a guy on the first date. Id. I know.
Ad
Was I mentally ill?
Brittany
But then I was just, like, chilling at the bars. I'm, like, just going to have a fudge injury.
Ad
Did he show up?
Brittany
Yeah, he did. And I ended up dating him. I know.
Ad
For how long after?
Brittany
Not that long. Just a few months. It was a terrible mistake, but I don't know. I would literally never do that. But I was like, well, you're here now.
Ad
Five minutes is too long for me. Yeah, five minutes. Like, if you're not, like, I'm parking. Yeah, five minutes is far too long.
Brittany
It was super crazy of me.
Ad
Goodness. I would never keep you waiting. I'm sure Leo wouldn't either.
Brittany
No, he wouldn't.
Leo
Never. I'd be there an hour early. Where were you? You'd be like, I'm right on time. I'd be like.
Brittany
Like, I'm supposed to be the late one.
Ad
An hour?
Brittany
An hour.
Ad
Were you drunk? By the time you showed up, I was probably buzzed. Yeah, I would have been lit. I would have been so lit. And I would have acted like. I don't know. I would have just.
Brittany
Super cute. So that got me.
Ad
Okay. Was he a musician?
Brittany
No, no, actually, he was. He did, like, tech or, like, I T. Stuff. Like hacker stuff for the government.
Ad
There's money in that. Good job. A government hacker. Yes. You have the most unique.
Brittany
No, I could. Literally every single one of my friends are like, you need to write a book about your dating life.
Ad
I agree.
Brittany
I have secrets. No one just knows because, you know, I keep it cute. Mute.
Ad
Keep it mute. All right, well, what is your cringiest dating story?
Leo
I once went out with a girl that I really wanted to go out with, and we went to, like, a casual restaurant, and then somehow afterwards, she convinced me to take her to Target. And she didn't have a car at the time, and so I took her to Target and we went shopping. And I didn't pay for the stuff at Target. She really tried to, but I didn't. And she got very mad and didn't talk to me again.
Ad
Wait.
Brittany
Because she didn't. You didn't pay for her cart?
Leo
Hold on.
Ad
So you were. Where did the date.
Brittany
And I'm the gold digger.
Ad
Where did the date start?
Leo
The date started at, like, a.
Ad
My kind of girl.
Leo
I kind. I kind of respect it, looking back at it, honestly.
Brittany
That's hilarious.
Leo
So it started like a. Like a. Like. Like. Like a kind of like a fancy ish pizza place.
Ad
Okay.
Leo
Like. Like a. Like an Italian ish restaurant.
Ad
Okay.
Leo
And it was like an early dinner. It was like 5:30.
Ad
Did she take pizza to go? Like, did you walk around?
Leo
No, it was more like one of those. No, we didn't take pizza to go. That would have been funny, though.
Ad
That would have been hysterical.
Leo
I should just add that for the story.
Brittany
How much was the cart?
Leo
I feel like it was like. Like. Like 100 to 150. Bucks.
Brittany
That's a lot. First date.
Leo
First date.
Ad
And she's just like, you know, it would be good.
Leo
She.
Brittany
She, she.
Leo
She was like. She kind of.
Brittany
She kind of pulled.
Leo
She kind of pulled the. Like. Like, like, can we go to Target? And I was like, what? And she was like, please. And I was. I was. I was simping very hard. And so. So I. I ended up, like, taking her to Target. And then I remember thinking to myself, like, there's no way she's gonna try and get me to pay for. For the Target cart. Right. But I was starting to get the sense. And then afterwards, she was like, why would you take me to Target? Like, you're not even gonna pay for my stuff at Target. And for a moment, I actually thought. I was like, am I being a jerk right now? And then I was like, no, no, Leo, come on. Snap back to reality. And so then that was. That was the. And I'm so ashamed to admit this. I asked her if she wanted to go out again, and I'm so. This is back in. Back in former days. Back in former days. Back in former days.
Ad
Now I see why you friend zone people. You're like, just in case you're gonna ask me to Target after this, you're already just a friend.
Brittany
Now we know how he got.
Leo
She never told that story before.
Ad
Oh, my gosh.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
That is insane.
Leo
I don't know if she had, like, this master plan or if she just was, like, in the moment and I was just along for the ride.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
But it was her world and I was living in it. That's for sure.
Ad
I'm gonna break it to you. I'm sure that you weren't the first and you weren't the last.
Leo
I think she's in Target right now. Some other guy.
Ad
I think that's her M.O. which I love for you, girl. Get yours how you get it. But I think that's just her game.
Leo
Maybe she's upgrading. Maybe now she's, like, walking around Restoration hardware or something. CB2 the whole count. Right, right, right.
Ad
But you guys, this has been amazing. But I do. Before we head out, I want to hear, like, what would you say your biggest takeaway from this whole conversation and your whole love is blind experience. Pre post anything, like, what do you think is your biggest takeaway from it all?
Brittany
I feel like it's hardened me as a person. I trust no one. Like, I. Very cautious of who I will tell things to.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
I feel like I was just living like a little fairy in the clouds. Like, oh, just to do. And now I'm like, oh, no. You need to protect your surroundings, who you tell things to. Like, just. I don't know.
Ad
Yeah.
Brittany
Yes.
Ad
Do you like this new version of you, or do you feel like you were kind of forced into the person that you are today?
Brittany
I was definitely forced into it, for sure. I don't know if I like the new version of me. I feel, like, too guarded, and I feel like that's actually kind of affecting relationships. I'm, like, even with some of my close friends that are still friends with, like, the guy from tmz, like, I just don't want to. I'm like, don't want to talk to anyone. It's really kind of instilled a little trauma in me.
Ad
Yeah, for sure. Yeah, I can feel that. What about you?
Leo
That's a really good one. I've. I would say two things. I've noticed that, like, I would have thought having. After having gone through this and maybe getting recognized and stuff and getting invited to places I wouldn't normally get invited to, I'd want to be like, let me meet everybody. But I've actually also become more, like, selective on, like, I feel like I almost have two versions of myself. I have, like, smiley, like, version. Like, can I take a selfie? Sure. And then I have, like, the. The me that I let very few people see. I mean, it's like, versions of.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Another person. And then I think the other thing is I've become, like, a lot more religious in the past, Like, I don't know, six months or so, really, since the show. And I feel, like, teach their own. But for me, like, when I was going through the worst of it, like, feeling that there was, like, a higher power looking over me and that all this was going to happen for a reason, I think helped me not carry a lot of anger, and then also, I think helped me indirectly get the very, very fortunate, like, redemption arc that. That I got. So I would say, like, faith or just. Just believing that it's all gonna be okay in the end.
Ad
Yeah.
Leo
Yeah.
Ad
That's beautiful. And I love. I keep saying this, but I love that you guys have each other. I think that's such a big, big thing. That one I needed, and I do. I am still pretty close with a lot of girls from my show, but it's like, no one understands even us. Like, we can relate to an. You know, an extent. But, like, you guys know. You guys are in the trenches together, and I think it's so beautiful that you guys have this friendship And I think whoever comes into you guys lives should respect this friendship because it is, it is really something to see in real life. Yeah. You guys join us next week for another episode. What's the reality? What's the reality?
