One of your favorite married couples is back on What’s The Reality — and they are not holding back. Daniel and Taylor from Season 8 join AD to catch us up on married life and give their unfiltered take on Love Is Blind Season 10 (Episodes 1–9). Having been through the experiment themselves, they reveal the specific conversations they listen for to determine which couples are actually solid… and which ones are headed for trouble. The three former cast members break down the most dramatic moments of the season, including their unfiltered thoughts on all the Chris and Jess chaos. Plus, Daniel and Taylor make their predictions for who actually makes it down the aisle… and let’s just say, they called it. If you’re caught up on Episodes 1–9 (spoiler alert!) this recap is full of sharp insight, real talk, and plenty of tea.

What's the reality? What's the reality? What's up? What's up? What's up, you guys? Welcome to another episode of what's the reality? It's. And I am joined by two of my very favorite people from Love is Blind season eight, we have Daniel and Taylor. Welcome.
Taylor
Hello.
Daniel
Let's go.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So we're gonna catch up on their life since the show and dive right into the brand new season of Love is Blind. Welcome, y'. All. Thank you.
Taylor
Excited to be here. How are you feeling?
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I feel good. I'm, like, a little nervous. I can't lie because, you know, a few months away from the mic and it feels like 10 years. But I'm happy to be here and I'm happy you guys are like, it's like family. So I get to talk to family and it's not too scary.
Taylor
Yep. Everything's comfortable.
Daniel
No pressure.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah. So it's been about a year. So catch me up. What have you guys been up to?
Taylor
You want to take that?
Daniel
Go ahead. Go ahead.
Taylor
Wow. A lot has happened in the last year for us. I think the biggest adjustment for both of us has been being in the spotlight. Like, prior to the show, that wasn't really something we had to navigate, but now as a married couple, we're navigating it. So that's been a lot of high highs and a lot of low lows, but mainly good. Otherwise, we bought a house, so we did move.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Congratulations.
Taylor
Thank you. We're fairly close to Daniel's parents now and closer to mine, so that was a big move. Daniel surprised me with the dog, so we have a puppy now.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Cutest little baby.
Taylor
We're traveling. We're going to Japan. We've got a lot coming up, too, to look forward to, so. Yeah, it's been a. It's been a whirlwind of a year, but all good things, I would say.
Daniel
Yeah, it's been great. Very busy.
Taylor
Very busy.
Daniel
Feels like we always have something going on, but it's mostly good stuff.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I love to hear it. Daniel, any new tattoos of Taylor that we need to know about? Any new body parts? Her smile, a nose somewhere?
Taylor
Yeah. Wait a second. Why does he not have any of your tattoos on me?
Daniel
No, not yet. Not as. No new ones. No new ones yet.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So not the Chipotle lip tattoo?
Daniel
No, I do have a lip. I did get a lip tattoo, but it was not a food. It was with the Minnesota Vikings, and so that was kind of fun. But it's there. I don't know. You can see it.
Taylor
I haven't looked at it in a while. Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay.
Daniel
So just that one?
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah.
Taylor
Okay.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Taylor, any new ones for you?
Taylor
No, the last. I only have two, and that's my lip with Taco Bell. And then I have Daniel's handwriting on my side. But other than that, I'm pretty boring. I'm surprised you're not picking a fight with me, because I don't. Have you tattooed a body part on me.
Daniel
Yeah, I just keep it buried deep down.
Taylor
Your rage.
Daniel
My rage?
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah. Oh, my God. So I know you guys had your vow renewals last May.
Daniel
Oh, yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
You guys had 400 guests.
Taylor
We did, yeah. Yeah.
Daniel
We both have, like. We both have pretty big families, and so that was a big part of it. We also are just so fortunate to have the friends that we do in our life, and that was quite the event.
Taylor
Yeah. Luckily, my mom kind of took the reins on the planning of it all because we had a lot going on ourselves. But we had it at the same venue that we got married at on the show. So it was nice because they knew who we were, and we knew who they were, and it was just like, a comfortable space that could fit everybody.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
And how do you guys know 400 people?
Daniel
Yeah, it is a lot of people. We. We both have big families, so.
Taylor
Huge families.
Daniel
Yeah. My mom's the youngest of nine. Your mom has eight siblings, and your dad has a lot of siblings.
Taylor
Six. Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah. Just a lot of. A lot of family, but a lot of friends as well, which is. We're very grateful for.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay. Speaking of friends, were there any Love is blind season 8 people there many?
Taylor
Yes.
Daniel
Yeah, there were pretty big group. Again, it's. We're grateful to have their support, too.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
I think. I don't know, maybe being the only married couple, it was kind of. I don't know. It's nice to have the support of everybody else on the cast, but, yeah, there was a lot there. I don't. I don't remember how many, but yeah,
Taylor
there was a decent amount. We're so fortunate, like Daniel said, to, like, what a unique life experience that we all went through and to have not only friends from other seasons like yourself and other people that we can talk to about it, but then people in our own environment or own. What am I. I almost said climate.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
What is happening?
Daniel
Our own home, our own city.
Taylor
Yeah. Like close to home that we can also have friendships with and grow with. It's pretty great.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So amazing. So you guys mentioned earlier your new addition to your family. Baby Sunny. Tell me about him. And what's it like having a new addition?
Daniel
I was gonna say little Sunny, but it's big. He's a big boy. He's great.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
He.
Daniel
He had some hip issues early on, but thankfully we got that figured out. He had a small surgery, which was tough, but he's doing okay. The surgery worked, and so now he's. He's just.
Taylor
Yeah, he's thriving. He thinks he's a lap dog like most big dogs sneak into on top of you.
Daniel
He also thinks he's still a puppy. Yeah, like a little, but like a 20 pound thing now. He's like 90 pounds.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah, I want to meet him. I want to meet him.
Taylor
But, yeah, he, like, gets so excited that he pees when I come home.
Daniel
And Daniel, Sonny, not me.
Taylor
I have yet to experience that excitement from Daniel, so.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Oh, maybe one day you'll get a special p. Maybe
Daniel
a special occasion.
Taylor
Keep dreaming.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay, wait, you guys. If you could give Engaged in the Pods, Daniel and Taylor one piece of marriage advice, what would it be?
Taylor
Marriage advice.
Daniel
Taylor's always right.
Taylor
I was like, wow, you didn't even think about that. You had an answer right away.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Would you write that in your blue journal, Daniel?
Daniel
Yeah. All caps.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Note for the future.
Daniel
I think. Yeah, I think. I think it's important to know that, like, you know, once you get. Once you get married, like, the work doesn't stop. You know, it, like, it continues on. And it's a. It's a constant thing that you have to put time and effort and care into. And I think I knew that going into it, but I think now Experiencing it and being married for almost a couple years now, we've seen it play out, and so I think I would just reiterate that to pod. Daniel?
Taylor
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
What about you?
Taylor
Marriage advice? Yeah, I would just. I. I'd say patience is key. Like, we're both still growing and learning and doing life for the first time ourselves. So just having, like, a bit more patience for not only yourself, but your partner as well, and move as a team, because it's the best way to do it.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So relatable. I've been married for a few minutes now, and that advice is so relatable. I really. I can feel that, like, patience is. Yeah, you need patience. Especially dealing with a man. You need patience.
Taylor
Yes.
Daniel
You probably need more patience than I do.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Just a little bit. Just a little bit. Before we get into the love is blind of it all, I think it's important to acknowledge everything that's been going on in your city, in Minneapolis recently. How are you two doing and feeling with everything that's going on?
Taylor
Who?
Daniel
Yeah, that's a big. That's a big question.
Taylor
Heavy. Very heavy. I feel like I've been crying for three weeks, four weeks.
Daniel
Just feels very. Like you said, heavy. But that's just, like, the feeling, especially living in Minneapolis and, like, having it be our community and, like, seeing all the stuff on the news and social media and being like, oh, that's our backyard. Like, you know, those are our neighbors. And so it's definitely a feeling of heaviness and just sadness and kind of, like, maybe even helplessness a little bit. Like, as much as we can, you know, do with our platform and as much, you know, love and support as we can try and spread, it still just feels like such a daunting thing. So I think, you know, we're doing good. Obviously, we're trying to help how and when we can, but, yeah, we're hoping that it starts to wind down a little bit soon here. So appreciate you bringing that up. It's obviously a big. A big thing not only for us and our Minnesota community, but, you know, there are eyes all over the country and the world seeing what's going on, too.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
You guys shared your thoughts on the situation on your social media. Why did you feel like it was important to speak out?
Taylor
You know, we. We both felt this, like, desire and want to speak out. And throughout all of the sadness and tragedy and brutality that's happened in our state, we have still tried to put out anything remotely positive surrounding the situation. So when we did talk about it, our goal was to address what was happening, but to also just try and put out resources for people just to make it, like, any bit positive, I guess, than the normal, like, rage scrolling that we see on all of our socials. And we got really, like, amazing resources and feedback, and then we got really, really hurtful feedback and comments. So I think that no matter what you say, it's never enough or it's never the right thing for everybody. But it was important to us that we acknowledge that we do love our neighbors and we are going to help where we can. And we've been doing that on and off socials.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So that's amazing. Y' all keep fighting the good fight. Honestly, like you said, like, I can imagine the hate and, like, the mean comments that you're getting, but like you said, there are a lot of people watching, so just keep. Keep fighting the good fight. Are there any, like, organizations or charities that you guys want to spotlight for our listeners?
Taylor
Absolutely. I spent some time volunteering with a coffee shop in Minnesota. It's called Annabelle House. They receive donations for immigrant families living in fear. And then we packaged up 71 boxes of fresh food, snacks for kids, lunch, like, anything that a family could need. And they're being both delivered and picked up from families that honestly are scared to leave their houses right now. So that was. That's probably been my favorite that I've been a part of since everything has happened in Minneapolis. So Annabelle House, for sure. Yeah. Veep is another, like, really good grocery donation. They take in groceries and they have both, like, a food shelf and delivery options. So we found. So we've met so many people, too. Cross Services. Right?
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
You guys are in it.
Taylor
I love it. So Sarah and I, from season 8 went to donate Blood. Like, we've just been, like, racking our brains of how to make the world a better place. So we're trying.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I love it. I love it. Every small bit helps. So, like I said, keep fighting the good fight. And we appreciate you. And I know the people in Minnesota appreciate the work that you're trying to do as well.
Taylor
Thank you. Do your best.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Let's dive into the craziness of the first nine episodes of Love is Blind season 10. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around what I just watched, but I need to know your initial thoughts. How are you feeling about the season so far?
Taylor
I'm obsessed with this season.
Daniel
Yeah, we like it.
Taylor
I think it's so good. And we've only seen nine episodes, and I am like, what? I have to wait how long to See the rest. I need to know what goes on.
Daniel
Yeah.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
It's kind of got, so far, a little bit of everything. Kind of like, there's. There's definitely couples we're rooting for. There's, like, certain people that I'm like, dude, like, what are we doing here? So, I don't know. There's. There's all the different aspects of just watching, like, people try and navigate this experiment. And so it's. It's very interesting. And obviously, having lived through it, it adds a different perspective, which is always interesting to, like, watch and think about. But, yeah, we love it so far.
Taylor
Yeah, it's got everything you need. Like, it's got the drama, it's got the love, it's got the friendships, the family dynamics. Like, it's all there.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Do y' all feel, like, a little competitive since it's another Midwestern state?
Taylor
No, I think that's maybe why I like them so much too. It's like, I just feel like I went to high school with most of them, and, yeah, they just feel familiar to me for some reason.
Daniel
So, yeah, I think we, like, we'd love to see the love stories play out and see people get married and join the married family. And, you know, we're very competitive people, so maybe a little bit is like, you know.
Taylor
Yeah, yeah.
Daniel
But it's all love, and we. We're just, like, hoping for the best.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
They like to ruffle feathers, though. That's the. The big difference.
Taylor
Yeah, they're. They're a bit more outspoken.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah, they don't have that.
Taylor
Minnesota.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Nice going on.
Daniel
Mind my own business.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So who are your favorites that stood out to you from the pods?
Taylor
I took notes AD while we were watching, so I'm gonna blow up my notes. The glasses. You're ready?
Daniel
Jeez.
Taylor
Okay, so episode one, when Jess or Jess. Jess is one of my favorites, but when Nick and Vanessa are talking to them and Tyler says, jesus died single, so I don't need to die single. Iconic. Honestly. Love her. From the show.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
T shirt.
Taylor
Our favorite. Sorry, I won't speak for you.
Daniel
Please.
Taylor
My favorite couple in the pods was Vic and Christine. I think that they're just so wholesome. They connect on so many deep levels. Like, I feel like it speaks a lot, too, when they show the depth of what they're covering in their conversations. It's not just surface level. And I just am rooting for them so hard. I really hope that they make it.
Daniel
Yeah, no, I really like them too. Yeah. You know, it's interesting again, having gone through it, you kind of look for certain types of maybe personalities or conversations that happen or topics or, you know, things that people align on or don't and stuff that we've seen, like, oh, if you don't align on this, like, might not work out. And so you try and look for those, like, commonalities between these couples, and it seems like there's a few couples, or at least, you know, one or two that are pretty, like, rock solid on what their values and morals are, and so it'll be interesting to see how it plays out. Obviously, we hope for the best, but, yeah, we like them.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Do you have number two, Daniel?
Daniel
I just. I wrote down all the couple's names, so I didn't forget. No, I mean, I. I like. We liked Bri and Connor. Trying to think if there's anything like, specifically. I always think it's fun watching, like, the guys bond in the lounge because, like, that we were just, like, growing out in the lounge. But, yeah, it felt like a good balance, too, of just like. It never felt like it was dragging on. It was just like, oh, you know, the. The pod episodes are great.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
You know, moving into the tropical getaway.
Taylor
Like, I love that they only had three episodes of the pods. Yeah. Let's make that one six episodes for our season. And it was like, I felt it was very drawn out.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah.
Taylor
Yeah. So I loved how fast this season moved.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Speaking of the pods, were you surprised when Tyler never came back to talk to Kevin? And then when Kia ended up choosing
Taylor
herself, I think Kia made the right decision. Honestly, I don't. I don't think he was ready for marriage. I think that a lot of people maybe. And that this is for every season, people sign up thinking that they're ready, but once you're in it and, like, actually falling through with it, I think it's a different ball game. So I think she was right to choose herself. Honestly, I'm proud of her for doing that. I also think that, you know, it's a very emotional time in the pods, and there's a lot of factors that play into that experience. You know, you can't talk to your family or friends. You feel a little isolated at times, I'm sure. And she felt disrespected. So I honestly, I'm gonna always. You protect your peace, however that is. And if that means not going back,
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
then, yeah, I just. I just feel like there was just too much confusion when after calling somebody your girlfriend, like, you can't be, like, can you be my girlfriend? You. You commit to being boyfriend, girlfriend. And then all of a sudden you're so confused what the hell was going on.
Taylor
But yeah, I think there's used to this phrase when I was dating was like, if you're confused for any reason, it's a no. And that is like all I've ever gone off of since I've heard that. And yeah, I think that speaks to her experience with him.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I just felt like Kevin didn't seem like he's ever been in a situation where he was, you know, presented with the option to choose. And so he just felt very overwhelmed
Taylor
and given the option to choose. Then they can also talk to each other in the lounge. Like, it's not like, oh, this girl doesn't know this girl. There's no way.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
They really quick. And you try not to like talk about who you're dating and who you know, you're in these love triangles with. But after like day five or six and now you're madly in love with somebody you know across the wall, then you come back and you're like, we have to talk about it. Like, you have to talk to your girls about it. Right? But that was a mess. Anyway, so there's seven couples who got engaged in the pods. Let's go eat. Like go through each of the couples and then give our unfiltered thoughts. This episode of what's the Reality is sponsored by K18 Hair. So we already kind of touched on Vic and Christine, but let's hear a little more.
Taylor
Yeah, I think that like their upbringings were so relatable and they that obviously going into the experiment you hope to find someone that you can bond with in a deep way, but actually like finding that person through the wall and it happens. It plays out that way, I think is so rewarding for them and you could. I just felt like, I don't know, I meant to be like star crossed in my opinion.
Daniel
Yeah, there's almost like a level of emotional maturity I guess that came through the screen. Like again, I know we only see a small portion of everything that happens, but even then it was like, okay, like they seem like they're both ready and in that mental space to be willing to say yes at the altar. And I hope that they. Yeah, I hope they do.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I would put my money on them. I think they might get married.
Taylor
I hope so. I hope so. I was curious though, are we like, why didn't they go to Cabo.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
That's a good question. I don't know.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah.
Taylor
Okay. Because I. I was sad because they didn't have, like. Or they didn't at least show a camera crew.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah, no camera crew bonding with the other couples. I don't know. It was very bizarre, but maybe they'll clear it up.
Taylor
That made me sad because I loved watching them, but.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Let's go through devonte and Brittany.
Taylor
I love Brittany. Fellow nurse girly.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yes.
Taylor
I think she's so beautiful. Although that's not the point of love is blind. But.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
But it helps. She is beautiful.
Taylor
I. I like them both as individuals, but I don't know if they are marriage material together.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay.
Taylor
And I'm gonna sound really stupid if they end up getting married.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Wait, why do you think that I said unfiltered? Give me unfiltered.
Taylor
I just. I feel like, you know, Brittany several times has verbalized, like, physical touch is one of her love languages. And it seems to be a revisited conversation that he's just. He's hearing maybe, but not willing to, like, put in action. And a huge thing of being married is listening to what the other person needs. And even if it's a lot for you to do or annoying for you to figure out, you try and do that to make them happy. So I just. I feel like he knows what he wants and she knows what she wants, but if they're to make it work together, I think would seem difficult based on what we've been shown.
Daniel
Yeah, just, like, communication issues, which is, like, if all you've built your, you know, emotional foundation of your relationship is by communicating through a wall, you would hope that the communication piece of your relationship is strong. And it seems like there have just been times where there's been miscommunications or lack of communication and so red flags a little bit. But again, we only see a little bit. A little part of it. But that's just that. That's my unfiltered thought.
Taylor
I also loved her family. They were so sweet.
Daniel
Oh, yeah, they're great.
Taylor
Yeah. Loved them.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay. Okay. Okay.
Taylor
Wait, are you giving your unfiltered thoughts?
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I have a little bit of tea that I feel like has been brewing in my. Because I'm just like, if I was Devo and Britney came through those doors, I would be so grateful and so happy and so excited, and I would show her. Like, I just think that he won the lottery with her, and she just seems so kind and so sweet. And I know he's going through a Lot, like, with his grandfather passing, like, that's really, really sad. I can't imagine going on a vacation after, you know, losing someone and then trying to, like, fall in love. It's a lot going on. I get it. But it's also, like, she deserves to not have her experience ruined because he can't get out of his head. Yeah, but that's just my little tea. I don't really know too much, but yeah. Yeah, that's just my little tea. She deserves the world. She deserves the world.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
She's so sweet.
Taylor
I identify with so much of how Britney feels from previous relationships of my own. Like, how you just want to feel wanted by your person. So for her to feel insecure when they're in the very beginning stages of their relationship, um, it makes me sad. Yeah. For her.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah.
Taylor
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay, let's move on to Mike and Emma.
Daniel
Yes. So I think the big thing is the kid conversation, right? Like, yeah, you know, it's. I mean, that's a huge thing. Like. Yeah, because for me, I. That would have been a deal breaker for me. And it's nothing against her. It's just that for me personally, that's something that's important to me. And so the idea. And it's just my opinion, the idea of, you know, getting married in hopes that she'll someday want, you know, decide, like, hey, I'm ready to have kids.
Taylor
You can't. Yeah.
Daniel
Like, you can't get married based on that.
Taylor
Right.
Daniel
Like, it just is what it is. Like, I. Maybe she would. Maybe she'd get to the point of. Of saying, hey, you know what? I'm ready to have a kid. I want to do this. And that'd be great. But if, you know, what happens if she's just still in that feeling of not wanting to have a kid, and then, you know, he's kind of in a tough spot. So I just. Yeah, we like them together. And. But I think that's just such a huge. A huge, like, red flag for.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah, it's just, like, also find someone that wants to have kids if you know that kids is that important for you. Don't propose to the girl that's unsure.
Taylor
Right.
Daniel
Yeah.
Taylor
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
And then try to, like, talk about it the whole time. Like, to me, that just feels so insane. Like, that's literally the foundation of your relationship. Do you want kids or do you not want kids? Yes or no. And if someone's a maybe and you're 100, maybe that's not your. I don't know.
Daniel
Well, and even maybe like the real world, if you have like a year or two years to kind of figure out together. But in this. In this, like, experiment, I just.
Taylor
He.
Daniel
I don't think he probably should have proposed in the first place.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I agree.
Taylor
I think that I. I respect both of them immensely. I. I think that regardless of. Maybe this conversation in the pods wasn't something that they dove as deep into as they intended to in that time period. Now they're being very intentional about their conversations outside of the pods and even, like, her family conversation about it and his family conversation. I mean, she has valid concerns with not knowing her family's history medically and stuff, but I do think that they're moving very maturely about it in their conversations now that they're out of the pods. It's tough because we only see, like, you know, such a sliver of it, but it is a huge foundational piece to a long lasting relationship is the kid conversation. So.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah, I hope they figure that out because they are cute together.
Taylor
I know.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
And she's so cute.
Taylor
I know. I do really like them.
Daniel
Yeah. I mean, maybe they. Yeah, maybe they say no at the altar and try and work it out together after.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I don't know.
Daniel
Yeah, that doesn't usually work now.
Taylor
I mean, seeing her as an aunt in that family meetup, it was adorable. I'm like, okay, you would be a great mom. But that's everyone's decision, so.
Daniel
Yeah, true.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay, let's move on to Connor and Bri.
Daniel
Yes.
Taylor
Okay. They're also one of our top contenders.
Daniel
Breezy. Connor and Breezy.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah, we like them.
Taylor
Yeah. I. I think that I. I love them together. I don't like the last portion that we see of the group meet up.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
We're gonna get there. Yeah, we're gonna get there. Don't you worry. Cause I have some thoughts on that too.
Taylor
In general, though, I think they're really cute. I think that, you know, she always says she talks a lot, and Connor acknowledges that and seems to. To, like, love her even more for it. So I. I don't have anything negative about their connection or anything that I can think of that would stop it.
Daniel
Their personalities seem to mesh well. Like, she. She's more talkative. He seems maybe a little more reserved. Yeah. So I think they. I think they work well. I think if he was someone who was like, had to. Had to be the one talking, had to get his voice, you know, they would clash a little bit on that. But, yeah, I don't think we really have anything.
Taylor
This house tour Was hilarious.
Daniel
Oh, yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
What a house. The whole. Every room was a bachelor room. Like, every single part of that house was just, like, frat.
Daniel
Let's just not judge them too hard on that just yet. Okay. A keg in the backyard is pretty cool.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
That's insane.
Taylor
She's talking to her mom. She's like, mom, there was a Christmas tree. There was a keg. It was terrible.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay, let's move on. Let's go to Alex and Ashley.
Daniel
Yes, they're an interesting one, it seems like. I mean, and again, this is just what we see, but it seems like the physical aspect of it is just at the forefront always. You know, you hope that behind the scenes, they're having these emotional, you know, these deep conversations of things that really matter and the physical side matters, too. But if you're only focusing on that, you know.
Taylor
Yeah. I think, like, having been a part of the show before, we pay extra attention to which conversations are left in the show itself. And even in the pods, I felt like the majority of the conversations they showed us of theirs was even, like, talking about sex and, like, the. The tension. The sexual tension between them through the. Through the wall. So to focus on that. And now we're seeing it kind of play out outside of the pods, where it seems to be a point of contention from time to time for them. I don't know.
Daniel
Yeah. Seems like he wasn't fully open on his past relationship history either. Like, he would answer things if she asked him about it, but it wasn't like, hey, this is.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
He always has an answer. One thing about Alex, he has an answer for everything.
Taylor
And it's always, like, a guesstimate. Yeah. No, it's always, like, maybe September. It's just never, like, definite, which always
Daniel
leaves a little bit of room to. I didn't say it was this.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Right, right, right.
Daniel
Kind of, like, around that. I wasn't sure. I don't really remember.
Taylor
You know, I've dated guys like him before, so.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Red flag. Okay, let's move on to Chris and Jess.
Taylor
So they were actually. I wrote down here in the pods, watching them. I said they were my first prediction for, like, getting married.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Getting married.
Daniel
Wrong.
Taylor
Yeah. Okay. Yeah, that panned out.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah. That wasn't that in.
Daniel
Yeah. I mean, we liked them. You know, it's like, I. I don't know. I always kind of. He's an interesting one to me because I feel like I know guys like him, and I kind of clocked it right away of just being like, I'm kind of unsure about this guy. About how he's just. What is. I don't know how he's presenting himself. I don't know. We were rooting for him, but, man, that was a. We were all rooting for conversation.
Taylor
I will say I'm obsessed with Jessica. Yeah.
Daniel
She's.
Taylor
She's so cute.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
She's so sweet, so smart.
Taylor
She deserves the world on a gold platter, so. And she's a doctor. Like, she was literally saving people's lives every day.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So I think Jess is so beautiful.
Taylor
So beautiful, for sure.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Like, stunning. And I just. Okay, let's talk about. It's not the kids versus no kids argument whether somebody goes to Pilates or not. Like, I just. Like, of course, if you want someone that works out and is fit and healthy, but by no stretch of the word is that woman unattractive, unhealthy looking. Like, I just. For me, I can't wrap my brain around where that all came from. And I'm not in bed with her, so I don't know what they have going on there, but for me, I'm just like, she's so smart, she's so beautiful, so ambitious. Has so much going for her. And he's going to, like, whittle it all down to, she doesn't do Pilates five times a week.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah. Like, isn't that the whole reason why you go through this experiment is to, like, figure out what really matters and what doesn't? And, like, how much of what actually matters is not anything physical? And, like, I don't know. That was such a. Like, oh, we were sick.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
It was meant to be.
Daniel
Yeah. It was just not, I don't know,
Taylor
the last, like, however long that was. Their breakup into the group meetup consistently. My job was, like, on the floor. And then I looked over at Daniel and his job was on the floor. Like, we were both shocked by what was coming out of Chris's mouth.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Ali was upset.
Taylor
He was, like, screaming at the tv.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
He's like, I know you're not talking. Like, he was so mad. He's like, you have no room to be judging anybody's looks. Like he was upset.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
The other thing, it's not like. It's not like Jess, like, was talking this big game about how she works out every day.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
She was, you know, very honest. She was very honest about, like, I'm not gonna go running with you.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
It's not what it. Like, and so I don't know. I don't know where this expectation and,
Taylor
like, it's like he felt bamboozled when she was just straight up about it from the jump. And, you know, in the. In the. On the getaways, he's like saying in an otf, like, she's the most beautiful person I've ever seen. And suddenly, once we're home now, it's like, no, actually, I'm not attracted.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
And then the way he was, like, going on about it at the, like, cast meetup was just disgusting.
Taylor
Disgusting.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
There's something to say out loud.
Taylor
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think it speaks. Like, it's one thing if you're not. If you've decided not to be with that person anymore, but then in such a public setting and way to treat the situation like that in front of her, like, zero respect for her as a human being or her feelings. Like, if you went through this process with her and got to the point of proposing, you should clearly care about her feelings in some way, shape or form and have the self awareness to reel it in for the camera part
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
of it, but self awareness for sure.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Now let's talk Jordan and Amber.
Daniel
Jordan and Amber. We. I like them. I like. At first I was kind of trying to figure out, like, what do I think about these?
Taylor
They're such a wild card. Like, I like them too. Yes. No, they're so wholesome.
Daniel
And I mean, having the. Having her having a daughter is obviously a huge piece of that. And, like, for him.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
You know, I think they're hand. They seem to be handling that part of it well. But that's a big. For both of them. That's a big, like, daunting, I don't know, like, decision.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
For both of them. And so I hope it works out for them. You know, I think he seems like he'd be a good dad, but he's so sweet.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I feel like he's probably one of the most genuine guys on the show. Like, I feel like he has given his personality and who he is, like, straight up front. And he's been so kind and so sweet and just so jolly, like, and just himself. And I think that allows Amber to open up and just be herself. I feel like they are the most, like, real. Realist presenting couple.
Taylor
Yeah. On the season. He's like the definition of a teddy bear.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I know I was gonna say that, but I was like, does that mean to call somebody today?
Taylor
So sweet, so wholesome. Like, I would love to try his food sometime too. He says he's a good cook, so run for your money.
Daniel
I know.
Taylor
We'll have to know. I do love them. I Do love them. And I hope that they, you know, the kid thing is a big conversation to have and a big decision to make. Not only are you, you know, signing up to be someone's partner for life, but then also a parent. So that's a lot of pressure.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So we kind of touched on it a little bit. But six couples go to Mexico, and Vic and Christine go to Malibu. What do we think happened there? And why do we think they didn't go? Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Knowing what we know in the pods that everyone doesn't get to go. Like, a lot of people get engaged, and I think this is the first season where everyone that got engaged got to go. Like, what? Got to be featured, I guess.
Taylor
Okay.
Daniel
Yeah.
Taylor
Okay. We had a few theories. Our first one was default. Like, someone had a passport issue so they couldn't leave the country. Our second one was maybe they weren't. Like, Daniel and I weren't gonna go to Honduras for our season. We were gonna go home and figure it out. So we were thinking maybe they decided they didn't want to do the getaway. And then last minute, we're like, actually, we do want to keep doing this on the camera. I don't know. Did we have more theories than that?
Daniel
I mean, I. We were trying to think of just what possibly because. Because for our season, there were. They followed five couples to Honduras, and so, yeah, seven got engaged. Yeah. And stuff got gay. So they. But they just didn't follow.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
That was like, the same with our season as well.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah. So they seem like even. Because now they followed six right to Cabo, and then they had a seven. So I don't know if maybe it's just, like, a budget thing where it was like, hey, we want to follow your story, but we only have room for six couples in. In Cabo. I. I don't know.
Taylor
I feel like they would have been a dead ringer, though. Like, they're one of the main couples,
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
like, theory was that those misdemeanors didn't get expunged like they thought they did.
Daniel
We thought about that. That was the other one that we thought maybe.
Taylor
I wonder, maybe those are.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
That's more of an issue than we thought.
Taylor
Sure.
Daniel
Yeah.
Taylor
Okay.
Daniel
That'd be interesting. But they didn't even send a camera
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
crew with them, Just them and their phone.
Taylor
Yeah. Yeah. That made me sad because, like I said, I loved. I love watching them.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
All right, let's talk Mexico. What were your thoughts on Bri? Thinking that the mixers were too surface level and that one. And wanting to have, like, multiple additional conversations with their ex, Chris.
Daniel
Yeah, I thought that was interesting. Obviously, everyone is going through their own journey with, you know, this experiment, but I don't know. For me, it's like, I. I don't know because I dated the other girls that were, you know, on our season that were at so messed up, that were in Honduras, but I didn't have any desire to, like, have any continuing conversations or, like, close the doors there. So for me, it wasn't a big deal. But, like, I don't know. I couldn't tell if it was something where she needed, like, closure from Chris or if it was just her wanting to, like, hey, we've built this strong connection with each other. We just need to have one more conversation in person to just. I don't know. It was interesting.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah. It just didn't give closure. It gave. She wanted, like, him to want her. Like.
Taylor
Yeah, she just wanted.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I don't know. I think she just knew that she would be like. I guess, like, because you fall in love behind the wall, and, like, when you see someone, you kind of want them to be like, oh, my God, like, she's so hot. Like, I think she wanted more of that from Chris, which she didn't get
Taylor
in that moment, I. I think, too. I had started on it earlier, but then I was jumping ahead. But the group meetup with Chris, when he's, like, actually saying, like, I wish we were together, Basically, I just didn't like that she entertained it for so long. I think that the conversation just didn't need to happen. I think I was putting myself in those shoes, and I would have been like, I would have walked away 10 minutes.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
But that was the conversation. That's what she wanted in Mexico. Like, she wanted that.
Taylor
Sure.
Daniel
Yeah, it was, it was strange. But I don't know, I try and, like, put myself and, like, have some, like, understanding.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
And so I, like, I don't know, maybe I shouldn't do that.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah. Take yourself out of it for one second.
Daniel
Yeah.
Taylor
I mean, personally, I couldn't wait to take shots and have fun with everybody on a shallowish level, because it was so intense. Like, leading up to it, it's like, let's have some fun with this. Like, this is a once in a lifetime experience that we're all going to be here on vacation together. Like, let's have fun.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Do we think that Devonte and Brittany's communication issues in Mexico is something that can be fixed?
Taylor
I was hopeful that it would be, but I think it's still an issue while living together.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah.
Taylor
So I don't feel like there's been a lot of progress from what we've seen on the show.
Daniel
I mean, I think it can be fixed as long as both people are willing to put the work into it. Like, they, they're clearly very different. And so for it to work, like, they both have to give a little bit. Yeah, but that's a lot of work. That's a lot of work in a normal dating scenario. That's. It's that much more work when it's condensed into a few weeks. And so I, I, we're hopeful, but we'll see.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay.
Daniel
Probably not.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Vibe check on Alex. Do you think his intentions with Ashley are pure? And was that conversation he had with Brittany in Mexico, did that seem a little inappropriate to y'? All?
Daniel
The conversation with Brittany was a little inappropriate, I thought.
Taylor
I agree.
Daniel
Because it was, it. I don't know. The biggest thing to me was he was like, yeah, you know, my typical type is dark features and brown. You know, it just, they just started exactly describing without saying, like, hey, you're my typical type. It's like, just say it if that's what you're trying to say,
Taylor
and I'll like, your typical type has not worked for you in the past. And that's the whole point of this show, is that regardless of your attraction, maybe physically, that emotional connection is so strong and deep that you try to figure that out once you're together in person. So I. Personally, I would have been fuming had Daniel had that conversation with another girl on our getaways. So I did not appreciate that. I think that Alex wants a serious, committed relationship, but I don't think he's ready for that, to be honest.
Daniel
I think the. I mean, the fact that a lot of their conversation is centered around the physical piece of it, and then, like, a big hurdle for him is the physical p. It's. It's just like. I don't know. It's a pretty big red flag for me, you know? Again, the idea is that you've built this strong connection that has nothing to do with the physical thing. And, like, also, she's beautiful, so, you know.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah. I think. I think it's. I don't know. He's stuck on that, Which. To each his own, I guess. But I don't know. Not a big fan of that.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah.
Taylor
What do you think?
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I thought that was messy. I think that if you are engaged, you are engaged, and I think conversations can happen in a way that don't disrespect your partner. And I think if you can't say that in front of the person that you're engaged to, you probably shouldn't say it. If you have to go hide away and, like, tuck away in a corner and say, she's not my type, you are, you probably shouldn't say it.
Taylor
Yeah. Yeah, I like that.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay, so our couples head back to Ohio, and they're meeting each other's families. We must talk about Alex meeting Ashley's dad.
Daniel
Oh, my gosh. Oh, holy cow.
Taylor
Absolutely.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I feel like my brain is still, like, in a whirlwind from that conversation, because what the hell was said? Like, everything was said and nothing at the same time. What do y' all saw?
Taylor
Yeah, and we're like. It's still going, like, three minutes in, he's still asking questions. Yeah, that was. That was a firing squad, that's for sure.
Daniel
I mean, he's a lawyer, right? So, like, maybe that's just part of. I don't know. I don't know if maybe he got caught up in the cameras and stuff like that. It's just like. I don't know. It was tough, but, like, the fact that Alex was pretty cool with it and answered all the questions, I was kind of like. Like, he always has an answer.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
So,
Taylor
yeah, it felt kind of like a job interview. Like, putting on your best face to get the job, answering questions. Not like, genuinely, this is My authentic self answering questions.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I agree with that. Like, it just felt like he was saying just enough that he wouldn't get, like, ridiculed and kind of, like, riding the fence and making it seem like he was a bit more established than he actually is and, like, a bit more stable than he actually is. And the dad was, like, reading between the lines, like, what do you actually have going on? And, yeah, that was a bit messy,
Taylor
but, yeah, that was intense. Yeah.
Daniel
Dad was a character for sure.
Taylor
I honestly, I felt bad for Ashley during that conversation because they kept showing her, like, looking down. She wasn't making eye contact with anyone. Like, she was obviously uncomfortable too, probably for more reasons than one, but it stinks for her only in that situation. Because when you find someone you. You love and you are excited about and you introduce them to your family and that approval isn't there, it's, like, so deflating for her. So I'm sure she was, like, really bummed that it wasn't, like, all heart eyes and sunshine and rainbows for the family meet.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I wonder if that's how her dad. Did they ever mention that she's never brought anybody around? Because I wonder if that's how he's talked to all of, like, people that
Taylor
she's brought around today. I don't know.
Daniel
I don't know.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
That would be so.
Daniel
Yeah. And maybe. Yeah, I don't know. I know, like, as. As a dad, I'm sure he's trying to be protective and all that stuff and. But that was just, like, shot after shot.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah. Sometimes you have to give your parents the little wink, like, hey, we're still on tv. Like, yeah, reel it in. Reel it in. Yeah.
Taylor
Take two more old fashions over here. Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Or maybe no more.
Daniel
Yeah, we'll take some waters.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So let's go back to the mixer really quick. We saw Alex say he knew Priyanka, one of the girls from the pods, before the show. Do you think this will become a problem for him and Ashley?
Daniel
I thought that was interesting because I think he said, like, she was part of a friend group in Chicago or something like that.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
And then that was, like, all he said about it. So I thought, like, is there more to that story? Interesting, because he dated people in Chicago. Like, was there something with them? And I. So, yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if. If that came back and there was more to it.
Taylor
There's a reason that those sound bites and OTF's were kept in. So I do feel like it's going to come back at some Point. Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
And again, Alex is only going to ask like answer what's asked. Like he's not going to volunteer any information. He's going to give you the surface level.
Taylor
I didn't lie to you. I just didn't tell you she was
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
a part of the friend group. And then. I'm just kidding. Just kidding.
Taylor
Okay.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah. Do we have any predictions for how this season is going to end? Like which couples do we think are going to make it to the altar?
Taylor
I, I think there'll be multiple. I think there's going to be a lot of alter moments. Marriage wise. I think Jordan and Amber.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Cute. Yep.
Taylor
And Vic and Christine are probably the two couples that I see it the most for.
Daniel
Yeah.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
Which is cool if, if, if it works for Jordan and Amber. It's really cool because I think that would that be the first time someone got married where, where one of, one of the people had a kid?
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I think so.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
You know, yeah. So that'd be pretty cool. But yeah, I think Christine, I mean Brie and Connor, I'm hopeful, you know, I, I think they'll get to the altar. We'll just see if they end up saying yes. But yeah, I think I'd agree with that. Probably most of them get to the altar but we'll just.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Who's gonna stick together? Who's gonna still be together at the reunion is the question.
Daniel
Yeah. A lot can happen in a year.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
A lot can happen in a year. So that's what I wanna see.
Daniel
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay, let's cleanse this palette. Yeah. Take a deep breath and let's play a little game. So today's game is called Ick or stick. And this segment is sponsored by K18. K18 makes the impossible possible. Patented K18 peptide discovered through 10 plus years of research, reverses hair damage from bleach color, chemical surfaces and heat at a molecular level that's really, really deep. And since K18 knows that less is more for your hair and the planet, their biotech powered products are highly concentrated, intentional and work for all hair types. Get soft, strong, bouncy hair in just four minutes with K18. So here's how the game works. I'm gonna throw out different personality traits and you have to tell me whether you think it would win someone over. On Love is Blind. That's a stick. Or make them think twice about saying yes at the altar and that's an ick. Does that make sense?
Daniel
Got it, Got it.
Taylor
Yep.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
So stick.
Taylor
You wanna write that down?
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
They refuse to talk about their past relationships.
Daniel
Ick yeah. Gotta be an ick.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Ick.
Taylor
Gotta be an open.
Daniel
Even if the relationships are bad. Like, you gotta talk about that.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah. Okay. Stick or ick? They need alone time every day.
Taylor
I think that's a stick. I don't think that's a negative thing.
Daniel
Yeah, I don't think that's a deal breaker. Yeah, I'd say stick. Yeah. I mean, it depends on how much alone time I need the whole thing. I need like 6 hours alone every day. Thanks.
Taylor
I don't think it. I don't think it would be a stop for me.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
No, same stick.
Taylor
Okay.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Stick or ick. They don't know how to cook. Slash hate cooking. Why is that funny?
Taylor
Yeah, why is that funny, Daniel?
Daniel
I mean, you don't like cooking. That's true. That's true. I mean, depends on the couple, I guess. Like, for us, I like to cook and I think I'm decent at it. And so if Taylor doesn't like cooking, that's not necessarily an ick for me.
Taylor
I think it's each their own. I don't, like, I'm not passionate about it, but it wouldn't be a reason to not marry someone, so.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Same. Okay. Stick or ick? They over communicate every feeling. Ick. Every feeling.
Daniel
My facial expression.
Taylor
Give me a break.
Daniel
Probably. Yeah, probably an ick.
Taylor
I think it would not be a negative for me at first, but then like, the longer into the relationship, it would probably become an ick.
Daniel
Yeah, you can communicate about it. Just don't over communicate.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Communicate and then whatever else. Like write it down or call your friend or call your sister or something.
Daniel
Like go to therapy.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah, go to therapy. Okay. Stick or ick. They are very structured. Slash live by a routine.
Taylor
That's an ick for me.
Daniel
Yeah, you got to have a little bit of flexibility.
Taylor
I'm just so going with the flow. I think it would. Personally. It would drive me nuts.
Daniel
Yeah. If it was very rigid.
Taylor
That's.
Daniel
That's an ick.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah, I agree. Okay. Stick or ick. They love cats more than dogs.
Taylor
Ick. Considering our dog is an earshot, I'm gonna say an ick.
Daniel
Yeah, you can like cats. I don't care. But you gotta love dogs too.
Taylor
It's true.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Okay. Stick or ick. They need reassurance often.
Taylor
Not me.
Daniel
Not you,
Taylor
dick. Stick. Yeah, good answer. Good answer.
Daniel
No, I. I think. I think it's a stick. I think that's okay.
Taylor
They're just a little anxiously attached is all. Yeah. You know, they just need a little reassurance.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
But for how Long. We can't be 100 years in and you're still like, do you love me?
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
Yeah.
Taylor
That's fair. Although Daniel has not asked me to be his Valentine yet. AD. And it is February 3rd today.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Same I'm Valentine list as well.
Taylor
Okay, well, let's link up.
Daniel
Me and Ollie are going to be our. Each other's Valentines this year.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
We'll have a Galentine. You guys go follow it. Okay. Stick or ick? They are obsessed with working out. Obsessed is a strong word.
Daniel
Yeah. Probably an ick.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah. Because why are you obsessed?
Daniel
Yeah, I think. I think going to the gym and, like, enjoying working out is a healthy amount of that. But if that's what your life revolves around.
Taylor
Yeah, I like my men obsessed with me, period.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I know that's right. Dick or ick, they have never been in love before. At the big age of 30, you're gonna have to have been in love at least one time.
Taylor
Yeah.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Because I don't want to be your first guy.
Taylor
Yeah.
Daniel
I think ick is a ick. It might be a strong word for that, too.
Taylor
Were you in love before? Well, we're getting deep.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Are we learning things right now?
Daniel
Relationships before? I don't know, because I think maybe I thought I was, and then once I met Taylor, I realized maybe I wasn't in.
Taylor
I know that's right.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Good job, Daniel. Great answer.
Taylor
Yeah. I think maybe the ick. Stick is a bit extreme verbiage for it, given the circumstances. Like, maybe you've just not found a connection. You should have definitely dated someone in the past or people. But to be in love? Yeah. Maybe you think you're in love, but you aren't. You don't. You haven't really experienced it yet, so you don't know.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
I think in the love is blind world, you should not go on the show if you've never been in love or had your heart broken, because then there's no way you're ready for marriage. Like, you don't even know what love is, so.
Taylor
And that experience, it don't.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Come on. Love is blind. If you have never been in love.
Taylor
Let's make that.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah, we'll put that in casting notes. Okay. Stick or ick. They look to their family members for approval on everything.
Taylor
Ick.
Daniel
Ick for sure. Yeah. Family's important, but at some point, you gotta go your own path and make
Taylor
sure that you become your own family when you do get married. So those decisions that you make together are. That is your family. Now, facts. Okay?
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Stick or ick. They have never lived alone.
Taylor
It wouldn't, but it wouldn't bug me.
Daniel
Yeah, I don't know if it would necessarily bug me, but I do think it's important to, like, be comfortable being alone and like, you know, learn to be able to live life by yourself. So I don't, I don't know if it would be an ick, but yeah, I wouldn't be a deal breaker, but I do think it's important to like, be able to exist by yourself.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Agreed. Okay. And the final one. Stick or ick? They take longer than you to do their hair.
Daniel
Stick. Stick.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Good answer.
Taylor
I would say big old ick on that one for, for myself. Thank you.
Host (possibly a podcast or show host)
Yeah, what about you too? Because just brush it and let's go. Yeah, I don't need anything. Just let's go.
Daniel
Yeah, throw a hat on and.
