Perfect Match was like, Life changing for me. I mean, it was much more, like, attention and just like a lot more people like asking your opinions on different things. So honestly, it's been humbling and it's been very busy. Some people that I could never imagine working with will be working together soon. So everything's been good. It's just taking it all in day by day.

Everything's been good. And what sense, because you've been hinting. Excuse me. That you got a man after four years of being single. Is that correct? I was single for a while, yeah. Tell us about your man. How did you meet?

[Xanthi]

I got this. I got this randomly walking the streets in la. I was just, like, so bored. I was just like, I'm gonna go get a tattoo. And I literally got a queen chest piece.

I get in LA this morning, I get my ears pierced. We gotta go.

But he just like, randomly came to talk to me at the front desk and he said my last name in such a Greek way. He's like, perdicomatis. And I was like, who said that? And then it just was like. I mean, the first convo was like, kids, marriage, everything.

So it was just. I went from like, not believing in the male species.

So you mentioned that you recently moved to LA from the East Coast. Again, East Coast, New England girlies, Boston, baddies in the building. How's the transition been? And is it hard being away from your family? Because I know how close you are with your family.

[Xanthi]

Yeah. So I think the hardest part for me, especially after my father passed away four years ago, which for a lot of people is like, oh, that's so long. But not when it's somebody so close to you. So I think the hardest part was leaving my mom because her and my father were together since they were 16. So imagine being in love, but also kids growing up together. So it's been really hard in that aspect. And then, you know, just like the normal everyday, like your friends. Just missing my friends. La out here, people are a little flaky. Not really my cup of tea. But other than that, we just gotta teach them a little bit of east coast decorum.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

It's different.

I'm guessing we've had some experiences.

[Xanthi]

Yeah. Like, I've booked photo shoots. They were like, for 10:00am they get canceled at like 8:00am you're, like, getting your makeup done. It's just like very LA to be flaky, I feel. And you know us from the east coast. We're like, set a time. We'll be there like 15 minutes early. And if we're running late, we'll tell.

Atlanta's a little different.

We're going to do it big. So, Xanthe, back to you, girly. How different was it being on a dating show compared to being on a competition show? Did it feel like people were still playing a game?

[Xanthi]

Oh, my God. So, okay, when you're going into the circle, you know you're playing a game, right? Where. When you're going into like a dating show like Perfect Match, where it's just a bunch of people already on reality TV already have their flame, fame or their name. Like you have to kind of question everything. So it turns into a game almost. I think with the Circle, I just had so much more fun. Even though it was competitive, but I just had so much fun. We're Perfect Match. I was so stressed, honestly, all the time up until I realized there was no match there for me.

[Ad]

But once we saw that real quick.

[Xanthi]

Yeah, everybody was like, she's on vacay. Like, wouldn't you be after these? Like, hello. But it was, it was just more nerve wracking and also dealing with people that you just don't know whether what's real or what's not. And throughout the day or even throughout a week, you want a break once in a while. And I feel like Perfect Match was just go, go, go, go, go like date somebody, get to know somebody, learn the tea, defend somebody. Go tell that person what that person's man said. So it's all a game. Just Perfect Match was more, I would say, super drama.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

Like super drama.

[Xanthi]

There was so much drama.

There was days.

[Xanthi]

We should have been 30 episodes because the way.

[Ad]

Well, not 30 episodes because there was also a lot of crying. And nobody wants to see crying.

But it's because you get sucked into the reality. So people start to think, girl, I know you guys know what your marriage and all, so it gets different. But you're just dealing with much more personalities and you're like living with them.

20, so what, which show would you say best fit your personality? Perfect Match or the Circle?

[Xanthi]

Definitely the Circle because I would never date 10 men at a time.

[Ad]

[Xanthi]

That's a headache. Yeah, that's a migraine.

I can't imagine I did that. I did a couple, but, like, you know, like, I can't imagine 10.

And, you know, you want to give everyone a shot, but everyone. Yeah, I mean, I know that's me. That's me saying it, though, right?

Maybe, you know, we do a little speed dating in the beginning. They get to pick and choose or whatever. I mean, I've definitely sat there like, I'm looking at this guy. I'm like, it's already done.

I mean, for the most part, the minute I walked in, it was immediately, yeah, but that's a whole other story.

Yes. So there are definitely.

You know, me or whatever. I'm trying to be nice or whatever. They're definitely here. I'll put it this way. The people, for the most part, and I mean, of course, you could say this about me, you could say this for about whoever who goes on these shows, but the people who you think are the most chill, are the most relatable, are the most, like, girls. Girls are, like, usually the complete opposite. And behind the camera, won't even talk to you, won't get dinner, because there's times where we could get dinner together or just, like, chill before a photo shoot. Like, some of the girls didn't even want to do that. And also, there was, like, a lot of chatter with girls that would talk about other women's appearances, talk about, you know, their hygiene. And I don't vibe with girls like that, so I don't want to claim anyone as, like, a mean girl. But, you know, you don't have to be a good girl's girl to be a good person.

And there was just a lot of mean girl energy in the villa. Like, honey, I don't want your man, the whole world, all that.

So actually, my perfect matches were my girls.

When ultimatum came across my desk, so to speak, it made sense because Antonio and I were again, on and off at the time, and he was. Was just. And had been ready to settle down. I was like, this one makes sense. Let's do it. Or he was like, let's do it. And I was like, let's do it. And it was, you know, all of a sudden you're on. It's like when you decide and when casting feels like it's right, it's two weeks later.

Um, I think because I did not realize. Truly. Again, I love that we all relate. You don't really see how much will come into your socials once a show comes out. They try to tell you, yeah, there's no real prep. There's no real. They'll try.

Totally. But I think more I was down to do fashion stuff. Like, okay, look at all these people. Like, all right, let me talk about work. Everyone's sick of that, I guess, and fashion. But I was like, I wonder if people, anyone out there, like, will relate to panic disorder. So that was literally it. And I was. It was very scary to talk about that, to be honest. And I'm not, like, a scared person. I felt dumb.

How is that community around panic mental health?

[Roxanne Kaiser]

Yeah, it is so strong. Yeah, it is so strong. Because once you actually are vulnerable about talking about mental health, because everyone says mental health, but when you're in it with people that cannot live because of it.

Literally immobilized.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

Yes. Yep. I mean, even yesterday, you know, someone who is a CEO of a company around mental health. I was getting on the plane, and Antonio knew I was having a second. I said, I don't think I can get on the plane because I was about to have. I was a little panicky, you know, so it's a real thing.

It's real life. Real people having real life things going on. You started your business, which is mental health focus.

Yeah.

Tell us about it. Tell us how you got into that and tell me how your journey has been.

Oh, it's been really very different. Cause my first business that everyone thinks I drop ship. I don't. That's crazy. First business, nipple covers. So definitely took a shift with my second, mental health. Y' all know when the show comes out, or any show comes out, you get so much shit.

Like, we all know that. It's insane, Right? And it was wild how I started talking about panic disorder. I've had it since 2017. Very bad. Seeing a psychiatrist since then. And when I was talking about it after the show came out, it was pretty cool how many people, the nice ones, related with anxiety and panic disorder and how they wanted to get off prescription medicine. And I was like, damn, there's got to be a way. Because I was on prescription medicine at the time. I was thinking, so loft. So I was hardcore on meds because of panic, and I just wanted to try to make something in the United States, find a manufacturer who could work with me and make something that helps without being on prescriptions.

[Xanthi]

People love that alternative too.

[Ad]

Honestly, I've heard so many good things about it.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

Great. I hope it's helping. As someone who has suffered with panic disorder, it's very debilitating where, like, you can't even fly somewhere. Yeah.

Yeah. You want to crawl into a hole. Yes.

Yeah. So that's where it came from. And it's been cool.

Yeah. So what is your maybe bigger goal or end goal as far as being a businesswoman?

End goal would be to expand Proxy. We're actually looking at doing different product lines. The whole vibe with the sodas. We really love the idea of sodas and lollipops and all kinds of really cool stuff.

Mine's a little different. I think that I don't really know if this is the same in Greek culture. But for Persians at least. You know how. I was like, people thought we came on the show because of this and that. And I was like, no. People actually reached out for other shows. But I didn't because I didn't, because, oh, my Persian mom, if she sees me in a bathing suit, I get it. Xyz. There's so much judgment, Truly. I would say, unfortunately, from our, like, my mom and the generation above that with Persian culture to do anything like what we're doing. Yeah, yeah. So I would say it's really cool to represent Persian women and be like, look, we're in America now.

And I just want to know something that you've learned from your show that's influenced your relationships or how you live life now.

[Xanthi]

Oh, okay. This one I thought about too, the minute I got off the show. So obviously now I'm in a relationship. But when I was off the show and I was single, I realized that it was okay to date multiple people at the same time. And I feel like a lot of people see like. Like that being wrong or you're playing other people. But, like, I was very open with everyone and who I was dating at the time. And it was just kind of like, dating is serious, especially when you date to marry, like myself, but it doesn't have to be. And sometimes you lose out opportunities on, like, not trying someone different that wouldn't be your normal type. And, like, I really branched off and really just dated somebody or just started dating people that weren't necessarily exactly my quote unquote type. And it followed me to the future. And. And yeah, I just think you should definitely broaden your horizons because sometimes what you think you like versus what you actually like and need and what works for you can be totally different.

Yeah.

[Xanthi]

So it actually worked out for me.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

Yeah, it's very true. Like dating outside of what you normally would. Because I think a lot of people box themselves into what they think they like.

[Xanthi]

It's comfort.

[Ad]

Yeah, totally.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

Yeah, totally. I think my different, obviously, right. Like, we all know I would have never gotten married if I wasn't on that show. Maybe at some point in my life, I would not be sitting here two years after the show married. I just wouldn't. So obviously being on that show taught me a lot. When you're in that environment of, like, hardcore therapy for months, being with someone and then being with some, you know, not the person you came there with, and then seeing what else there is and not like, we didn't see what else there was. We were on and off for so long and in other relationships. But the ultimatum specifically definitely made me think, what am I doing? Like, what am I doing? Am I gonna get married or not? Because if I'm not, I gotta leave him. And if I am, he's the perfect person to marry.

Yeah.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

If I am.

[Ad]

Like, just gimme chills.

[Xanthi]

Yeah, you have me speaking Greek to you.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

I'm like, right? Cause it's true. Like, if I am. That was the biggest question. Cause I was. So I'm not going to. But if I will when I'm 38, then like, yeah, like, okay, okay, then we'll do it. And you know, I could have been sitting here like we've talked about single off the show, doing living your life other shows or single. But you know, I was like, damn, I'm. Yeah, like I'm gonna. I'm gonna do it, so just be open minded. Ultimatum really changed the way I thought. It's really freaking crazy. Yeah.

[Xanthi]

Reality opens your mind a lot.

[Ad]

It does.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

Yeah. Yeah.

[Ad]

And we are, all three of us in different stages in our relationship lives. Like you're dating your man in a committed. I'm engaged and obsessed and you are married. And I think this is such a beautiful little trio here because it shows that reality TV does have its benefits. It might look like we're just on there flopping around making shitty decisions. We don't know who we are. But now look at us. Now what?

[Roxanne Kaiser]

Not to mention the babies. There's reality TV babies, There's real relationships, real families.

[Ad]

It's really have your real life married, your real life in a committed relationship. I'm real life engaged. And I think people tend to forget that we are still real people and.

[Roxanne Kaiser]

Of which we would have never done without, without this reality, this experience. Very true. Yeah.

[Ad]

Yeah. I think he's going to give hope to people coming up in our respective shows again that, see, like, there is hope. It could happen for you. Like, it might be unconventional, it might not come from the show, but something, something from it.

[Xanthi]

You never know what thought comes by and you're like, oh, I learned that off of my show. And you just apply it to your real life.

Yeah, it's crazy.
