[THIS IS A RE-RUN OF A PREVIOUSLY RELEASED PODCAST. ENJOY THIS ENCORE PRESENTATION!!]WELCOME BACK!Hang on, fellow babies, we're SUPERSIZED!! It's Allen and Donna Stare! On this episode of the "WKRP-Cast", we tackle one of life's greatest mysteries: are there actually two endings to this episode? And, if there are, WHY??? Johnny blew it when he missed the decimal point on Andy's contest memo. The "big prize" was fifty bucks. Johnny read it as FIVE THOUSAND!! No sweat, we'll just make the contest impossible to win! KRP listeners are obviously musical savants. EVERYBODY is figuring out the impossible puzzle. When it comes time to award the cash, will Johnny Save the Day? Or, will Johnny Have to Pay? He actually winds up doing BOTH!! This is the weirdest, wildest, strangest little detour you'll take in WKRP-land, which is why we invited a very special detour guide: episode writer CASEY PIOTROWSKI joins us with comments and insight!! The WKRP-Cast is on the air...grab your brains, fellow babies and strap in. The Bozo-puter might overheat before we're done with this one. You ARE seeing double!! Hit 'play' to find out why!!WATCH ALONG DETAILS...[Want to watch along with us? It's a blast!! We highly recommend the 'Shout Factory' boxed DVD set of the entire WKRP series. For reasons you'll have to listen to in the "Prolog" episode, all streaming versions of the original "WKRP in Cincinnati" have had the original music cues removed. Generic music beds and stings were used in place of the original music for the syndicated version of the series. 'Shout Factory' has been able to restore an estimated 85% of all WKRP music cues to the original "as-aired" content for their DVD release. They've also restored scenes that had been cut to shorten episodes for syndication. The original eps ran 25 minutes. The syndication eps were shortened to 22 minutes. Over 88 episodes that's more than four hours of lost content, including the performance by "Detective" at the end of "Hoodlum Rock." Get the COMPLETE series...get the Shout Factory DVDs. The Shout Factory complete series box has a release date of 2014. All individual seasons of Shout Factory disks were released starting in 2015.]Hey Fellow Babies!! We talked to Gary Sandy. Don't miss our exclusive interview with Andy Travis now available from the WKRP-Cast. Wherever you get your podcasts.THE WKRP-CAST IS IN RE-RUNS!! If you are new to the WKRP-Cast, welcome and thanks for listening. You might be thinking, "hey, aren't they missing some shows?" It does look that way but rest assured, there is a WKRP-Cast episode for EVERY SINGLE EPISODE of WKRP. Some episodes may currently be unpublished because we are in re-runs. They will all be coming back in the next few weeks. Subscribe in your favorite Podcast Player and you'll get updates when they are re-released.

[THIS IS A RE-RUN OF A PREVIOUSLY RELEASED PODCAST. ENJOY THIS ENCORE PRESENTATION!!]WELCOME BACK!Hey!! It's Allen and Donna Stare! It's time for another episode of the "WKRP-Cast"...and somebody went to see Mr. Macho! A lot is happening at the Mighty KRP, and the laughs are BACK, fellow babies!! Les has won the Coveted Silver Sow (we don't think "Coveted" is actually in the title...but the way he says it, it is!!). Herb decides to help his little buddy get a date. He doesn't know he's about to set off a chain of events that will end with wigs, memos, gold lame, and a quiet cup of cocoa with a beautiful woman. How could they fit it all in 25 minutes?? We sure couldn't!! (sorry if we got a little long...but there was so much STUFF!!) The WKRP-Cast is on the air...grab your brains, fellow babies...if you can find them under all of that HAIR!! Time to spritz on another blast of "Brut" Cologne and hit 'play'!!WATCH ALONG DETAILS...[Want to watch along with us? It's a blast!! [THIS IS A RE-RUN OF A PREVIOUSLY RELEASED PODCAST. ENJOY THIS ENCORE PRESENTATION!!]WELCOME BACK!Hey!! It's Allen and Donna Stare! It's time for another episode of the "WKRP-Cast"...and we've been retooled! Well, we haven't, but the SHOW is supposed to have undergone a major overhaul. Did it? Not so much, thanks to the curmudgeonly behavior of our hero, Mr. Hugh Wilson. This is, oddly for first season, a clip show...with about 14 minutes of new stuff, PLUS an all new "Mama Carlson." We get into what it was like to watch TV back when dinosaurs roamed the earth, the mystery of the cold open, the insanity of network suits and the return of one of the funniest shows on TV...now comfortably seated right behind mega-hit "M*A*S*H"!! What could go wrong...right?? Well, it IS WKRP. Don't count on anything good to last for too long. The WKRP-Cast is on the air...grab your brains, fellow babies, Mama's here and she doesn't look happy. Is your resume up-to-date? Time to hit 'play' and hope she's in a good mood !!YOU KNOW YOU MAKE US WANNA...No shouts in the show, but we did want to take a minute to say a BIG 'Thank You' to Michael Hernandez, the Accountant of Rock. Mike is doing some amazing forensic research regarding the scheduling of WKRP throughout its original run on network. He is doing the digital equivalent of haunting newspaper graveyards and dusty stacks in library attics. His research is yielding some fascinating stuff and we are so glad he is willing to share the highlights with us. We hope to be hitting Mike up in the future regarding show ratings and scheduling. It's all part of what made and influenced the creation of WKRP so we love getting into it! WATCH ALONG DETAILS...[Want to watch along with us? It's a blast!! Send a note to Allen & Donna…WELCOME BACK!! Is it really that time of year again? It seems mere weeks since we were scarfing down eggnog at Jennie-poo's place. Now we're partying at the station. Herb brought the ham!! (at least, we think it's ham...ask him if it can spoil).Art might be cheaping out on the Christmas bonuses this year...he's done it in the past. Nobody is happy and Art's in a haze brought on my some of Dr. Fever's baked goods. What's that??! Chains!? A GHOST of Grandpa!!?? Hang on a minute...this isn't one of those cheesy rip-offs of Dickens' "Christmas Carol"...is it?? Oh, yeah, it IS!! Jennifer's in the past, Johnny's in the future and Venus is presiding over the bullpen. The podcast is a blast, but you don't want to miss these visuals. Pop on your Shout! Factory disk, add rum liberally to the eggnog and hit 'play'. Grab a brownie if you're so inclined....or save it for later if you're driving. This one isn't over until the checks are written!!WATCH ALONG DETAILS...[Want to watch along with us? It's a blast!! We highly recommend the 'Shout Factory' boxed DVD set of the entire WKRP series.
