We have a special guest on. She is an animal communicator, and that's something we've talked about a lot. We don't know a lot about it. We did have one animal communicator on way back. Way back when. But now that we've been going for a couple years now, we've. We've got more questions and we're really excited. She was featured in an article in the New York Times a couple of years ago, and I first became aware of her then. And then she did a reading for a recent guest of ours, Jennifer Jarrett. Hi, everyone. Oh, My gosh, I'm so excited to be here.

Well, we are very excited to hear all about your skills and your journey and all that. And I think you're even gonna do a reading on Ruffles. Ruffles is mentioned in here a lot. And I think we even might have a. Something. Something to say from Ruffles, which I'm. Well, we're both very curious about.

B (5:42)

Yes.

A (5:42)

But first of all. Well, I know and you used to work with horses, so I guess we'd wanna know, like, how did all of this start? How did you first notice that you had this special skill? Has it been with you since you were a kid? Or did it come up later? Like, if you just want to take us through that.

C (6:01)

Yeah. It's actually such an interesting story. And I always joke that lots of different traumas have led me to this point.

A (6:09)

Oh.

C (6:10)

So it starts back when I was 11. My grandmother, who I was really close to, was the first person that I really knew that passed away. She had that, like, you know, the old ladies have that, like, really strong smelling perfume. She always had that. And after she passed, I kept smelling that perfume. And I would occasionally, like, wake up from a dream and I would see her at the foot of my bed. And I told my parents and God loved them. They weren't like, you're crazy. Like, let's send you the loony bin. They were like, well, you're young and you've lost somebody, so let's like, take this all in stride. And one day I was getting ready to go to the barn and I walked by my mom and she, like, whipped around and looked at me and she's like, why did you put grandma's perfume on? And I was like, I didn't. Like, I've been telling you, I can smell and see Grandma. So I think that was the first moment that she was like, oh, yeah, there might be something here. Wow.

Oh, my gosh. Okay, first of all, I didn't even know that you had this with people too, and that that's how it first surfaced. So that's very interesting. Okay. Whoa. Already our minds are blown.

C (7:34)

It's how it started. I don't like when people are like, oh, do you talk to people who passed? Like, not. Not really. That's not my strong suit. The animals are my strong suit. But so, like, so we had that experience, but then, like, life happens, right? And I grew up in a house that had, like. I was raised very Catholic, so there was no, like, psychics or any of that. We just kind of, like, moved on. I moved on with my life. I spent my entire life trying to, like, grow up and fit in. And I always had animals. I was always really close to animals, but I never really talked to them. And then When I was 20, my dad passed away really suddenly, and I was having all of these, like, strange sensations in my hands. Like, I had all of this, like, heat in my hands, and I didn't know what to do with it. And so a friend of mine at the time had been working on life coaching with horses. And so I was like, well, let me do a session with her. Like, I don't know what's going to happen. And in that session, my, like, hands were on fire. I touched the horse. The horse showed me this, like, interconnectedness with all of creation. Like, I saw the lake through the trees. I saw the traffic at the mall. I saw the people down the road making dinner. And I was like, this is insane. And so, of course, I, like, immediately dive into, like, energy healing classes, mediumship healing classes. But in mediumship circle, I started to be the one that was connecting with everyone's animals who had passed away. And so they'd always joke that, like, I'd get sluffy, not grandma. And so, like, I'm still teaching, Like, I'm still training horses in the background. I actually went to school. Small caveat. I went to school to be an intelligence agent for the government. I worked in D.C. i was working for Customs and Border Protection, and I absolutely hated it. So I quit. That didn't last very long. I started training horses full time. So I always wanted to be around the animals and be outside and, like, touching grass. And so I was still doing that while I was, like, doing these mediumship circles. And then, like, as you do, right? I'm an adult and I want a dog of my own. So I was going to all of the shelters and I went to walk by a kennel one day and I stopped and, like, backtracked. And this little black and tan dog was, like, sitting at the front of the kennel. And I kind of looked at him and he looked straight into my soul. And I heard clear as day, I just want to be a good boy. And I was like, what? And it turns out, like, long story short, this dog had been brought back multiple times. They thought he was unadoptable. He'd been a biter. He couldn't be around kids, he couldn't be around other animals, he couldn't be around humans. They didn't know what they were going to do with him. And I was like, no, he just wants to be a good boy. And so I took him home, and he. He's the one who started it all. He's still with me, sitting next to me. And that was when I realized I could do this. And I started really honing that power. And now here I am doing it full time.

Wow. And that. That was mentioned in the New York Times article about your dog, Miles, right? Is that his name?

C (10:46)

Yeah.

A (10:46)

Yeah. That was your first. So had you received sort of dog messages before that moment? Because you said you were in this class and you were kind of connecting with animals. Like, how was that sort of the benchmark moment?

C (11:02)

It was. The mediumship classes were all animals who had passed away. So it was like, okay, messages from Fluffy or Fido. It was fine. I was like, I was such a beginner. It never felt wow. It always felt really powerful. But I was like, gosh, there's something more, you know? You know, like, in life when you're like, there's something more. For me, I just, like, don't know what it is yet. Right. And it's taken me a lot of years to be like, that's called intuition. Trust it, you know? And so the difference was when Miles talked to me, when I walked into that shelter, I heard him, like, he had picked up a telephone in my brain and said, I just want to be a good boy. Like, there was no mistaking it was my voice in my brain, but it wasn't. I, I don't want to be a good boy. Like, I want to be a good girl, but, like, I don't want to be a good boy. And there was nothing that was me, but it was coming through me. And at the same time, the volunteer at the shelter was like, that dog's never sat quietly at the front of his kennel ever. Like, he's always biting the bars and barking and screaming. Like, this is unheard of.

B (12:10)

You said when you touched the horse, it was like a portal and you saw, like, events happening simultaneously. I was just wondering, like, when you were training, is this something that you could control? Or, like, when you put your hands on animals, did you instantly see something or could you turn it on and off?

C (12:28)

So it's something that, for me, developed over time. It's actually harder. I'm more sensitive now. So, like, back then, I was just, like, blumbling around in the world trying to figure out what this stuff was. And it would come in, like, little hits every once in a while. So when I get something, I'D be so excited about it. It's not like I had to turn it off now because I'm so connected and I do this all the time. I have to be very sure to like, put an on off switch and be like, okay, now's not the time.

And then so when you, you take this dog home and like, were you instantly getting more messages from him, like, just to get back to the journey thing of you and Miles setting off your sort of career, like, how did that unfold after Miles?

C (13:18)

It was actually a lot of years before he ever talked to me again. I think most communicators will, will say that it's really hard for us to talk to our own animals. I actually spent an entire year focusing just on that because we're so connected and we just assume and we're too involved, so it can be really difficult. So I spent an entire year dedicating to like talking to my own animals. And now for the most part, it's pretty easy for me. But after that initial conversation with him, he didn't talk to me again. Like, it was very much me just like going through the motions and figuring things out with him. But he was a good boy from day one because he told me he just wanted to be a good boy and he just wanted a job. And we started doing agility and he went to the barns and trained horses with me. And I was on the side asking like my clients if I could talk to their horses or their dogs or their cats. And so I was learning that way and getting involved that way. And then I always say that Covid was actually the best thing to happen to me because when we had to shut down, I was like, well, I still have to make money somehow. So I started offering remote communications and they were just so accurate and so spot on. And I was helping so many animals and it was just like growing word of mouth. And then all of a sudden the New York Times article hit and I was busier than I've ever been in my life.

when you get a sort of download or whatever you call it, is it always something that you tune into? Or are you walking by a squirrel in the park and you get a message or are you sitting, you know, in a focused way? And also I'm wondering, like, does the, do the messages come in? I mean, you said it came in in plain English. Like, does it come in always as words? Does it ever come in as like a feeling? Or. I'm throwing a lot of questions at

C (17:29)

you, but yeah, amazing. It's okay, we can break all of them down. So I always tell clients that it's like this strange game of Pictionary for me. So the animals will send me pictures, they'll send me words or phrases, and I will also get feelings in my body. And then I have to try and take all of that and articulate it to you in a coherent English sentence, which I actually think is the hardest part. And the thing that separates, you know, good from great psychics maybe is that ability to interpret what all the messages are that we're getting. Because there's so much that can get lost in Translation. Because especially the animals that will communicate more in, like, feelings and emotions. Trying to put words to that and give that to the person is much more difficult than, like, I have some that. It's literally like talking to a friend that come through super clear, and they're using, you know, words in my brain, and I could talk to them all day. And then there are other ones who communicate more on feelings, or they'll send me, like, a quick picture. And then I'm so much more drained having to kind of, like, pull more out of them because they don't, like, they don't talk the way that is easier for me. It's kind of like when you're talking to certain people, some are easier to talk to than others.

And is it so sort of whatever facile for you that you can just sort of. Do you have to prepare to talk to an animal or get the messages? Or you just, like, you. You go over someone's house and they have a cat, and they're like, oh, this cat likes this or that? Like, how does that part work for you?

C (19:15)

It's changed a lot over the years. So it used to be that I would really have to, like, center myself, relax my nervous system, like, get in a good spot and then be able to kind of open to it. Now it's like going to the gym, right? Like, now that I do it so much, it's really easy for me to turn off and turn on. So I don't have, like, a ritual or anything that I need to go through. But I try very hard because. Because I do so many, like, dog sports, right? Like, my dogs are in sports, and I go to horse shows and, like, that sort of thing. I try really hard to keep the boundary line because that can be very stressful. And if an animal really needs something or wants to break through, they can. So there will be times where, you know, I'm walking up to the agility ring and a dog will be like, help me. Or, you know, whatever. And I'm like, oh, right now? But for the most part, like, I can keep it on or off.

Is there a certain animal that's easier to get messages from than another one? Like dogs, horses, cats? And then I don't know what other. Like, is it all. All members of the animal kingdom, right down to a ladybug or something? Like, how does that part of it all work?

C (20:32)

That's always so fascinating to me, right? Like, I. I do this thing where I'm like, please send me, like, all the animals in the world. Like, I want to talk to every single one. So I've talked to snakes, I've talked to bearded dragons. I've talked to alpacas. I've talked to llamas. I've talked to cows, I've talked to squirrels, I've talked to donkeys. I've talked to a bee. Everything sentient, right? Like, that's. I think that's, for me, like, what people forget is everything is made of the same stardust. Like, we're all fenty and we're all the same thing. So we all have this ability to kind of communicate in terms of what's easiest to talk to. I would say it's more animal dependent than, like, hypent, right? Like, some dogs are hard to talk to, but some dogs are super easy. For me, for me, the hardest thing is not to talk to cats. Cats are very easy to talk to, but it's to make a change in cats because cats in general know that they're descendant of animals who were once worshiped as gods. And you've got, like, dumb, fluffy sometimes, but most of the time they're like. They're very like, yeah, I was once worshiped as a God. Like, okay, person, what are you gonna do? Right? And then the person always wants them to, like, stop meowing at 2am and the cat's like, but the world's waking up. What's your problem? So cats tend to be less malleable sometimes than dogs or horses or other things. But they're all. I've never not been able to talk to one. An animal.

I'm just cracking up because it sounds like, you know, cats are pretentious, which in a way, like, they're portrayed as, like, being very regal, you know. So it's funny that you're saying that, that they. They're aware of their lineage and their royal roots, so to speak.

C (22:33)

I always chalk the cat thing up to, they have, like, they know their worth and they have their autonomy, right? So it's, It's. They're so sweet and they're so caring and they're so thoughtful and. And cats have this job of, like, being the energy centers of a house. So they're always kind of monitoring the energy and transmuting energy. And there's literal studies that a cat purring on you heals physical ailments faster. Catches in general are like, we're already doing the work. Leave us alone. Where dogs tend to be more of our companions and want our approval. And I get like. So I talked to two separate snakes and the one snake, it was so interesting, right? Because you're like, snake, they're going to have the same personality. The one snake was just trying to convince me that he should be able to get out of his cage so that he could move around the house. And I very much got this sense that he was going to do that and then try to kill the cats. Like a snake trying to kill a cat, right? Like, that's insane. But the owner was like, oh yeah, the cats sit on top of his cage and he like tries to like get at them. And yet the other snake that I talked to wanted nothing more than to be friends with the cat. Like they would literally like, like he would like twine around the, his enclosure when the cat got near and they were like trying to be friends. So like, even snakes can have completely separate personalities.

What about like you said you talked to a bee? What was that like?

C (24:22)

Well, the be stunned me. So it was this like very knee jerk reaction because normally it's like, you know, be and you want to run from it. And I was, I was walking through the grass barefoot, as I do, and I stepped on it and immediately, right, like got stung and I was like, oh my God. Oh my God. And instead of freaking out and trying to like kill it because it was like its stinger was stuck in my foot with it attached. And I was like, okay, like we're not gonna panic. And I'm like, listen, I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there. And the bee immediately was like, I

didn't know what was happening.

C (25:01)

I'm so sorry I stunned you. But like, please, please help me. And so we all took a breath and I was able to detach the bee and the bee flew off and my foot really hurt.

A (25:13)

Wow, you saved the bee.

B (25:15)

You did. Well, I don't know. Don't they die after they sting a human?

C (25:18)

Sadly, it's the stinger, I think. I don't, I don't know anything about bees. The stinger was still attached to it because it let me like get the stinger out of my foot with it still attached. So I don't know if the stinger has to come off or the stinger kills it. I have no idea.

A (25:34)

Yeah, I think what kills it is the stinger coming off. So maybe I'm going to choose to believe that everyone lives happily ever after in that.

C (25:42)

That's my, that's, that's what I'm choosing also.

Yes. So I always work my communications that we're doing them in real time. So we're on the phone and I'm connected to the animal in real time and we're having a three way conversation. So I equate it to like, your dog speaks Chinese and you speak English and I'm the translator. So we can send messages back and forth all day long because everyone's connected.

I was thinking about, like, animals being taught different languages. Like, you know, like, if you're in Greek, you speak to your dog in Greek. And then if you're English, you speak in dog in English. But these dogs like the communication. It, it. It breaks these language barriers and can communicate to anybody.

C (28:59)

Yes. And I think what's really interesting there. Cause that's, that's people's question, right? Because I talk to. I talk to dogs from.

A (29:05)

Right.

C (29:05)

Well, I talk to animals from all over the world. And it's, it's always like, does the animal speak English? And I think it's less about, like. So the way I explain this to people is some animals understand every word you say. Don't get me wrong. Some animals, like, understand every single word. All animals, though, understand intention, images, and energy. So for everyone who's always like, well, how do I talk to my animal? Right? I say you picture it in your brain. Because you can be saying to your dog, you're like, oh, you're such a bad boy, right? But what you're picturing in your brain is, like, you're perfect in every way, and I love you so much. And that's what they're getting. So the more you set the intention in your brain and send it out to them, the more they understand it. So it's more of a universal energy rather than a language. Does that make sense? Yes.

A (30:06)

Yeah. Actually, when we had. We had a animal communicator on before, and she told me because my dog, in the morning when I would leave, my dog would get like, a little upset, like, scratch at the door and stuff. Later in the day, it was fine. Anyway, she told me to picture, like, tell the dog, like, I'm gonna be gone for an hour, I'm gonna be gone for longer. I'm gonna be running out for 10 minutes. Just like, picture how long it was gonna be gone and tell her or just picture it. And so I tried that, and it actually worked because then my dog stopped scratching at the door. Like, it was like I connected and told her the deal, and it actually seemed to work. So that relates to what you're saying about thinking. And before we started this podcast, Irene, I think you and I kind of thought of animal communicators as, you know, when you hear, like, pet psychic, you can kind of think like, okay, like, it sounds super woo, but that was one of the first things that we did on the show that, like, it had results. And now we believe in everything, by the way. So we're hearing your story. Hearing your story. Like, you're not trying to convince anyone you're making. Making a living off this or one thing, but also your initial. Initial experiences. Like, you don't need to convince you this is your truth and this is your reality. I wonder, do you ever run into, you know, a skeptic at a cocktail party or whatever? And no, I'm sure you don't even really care because they're just like, I don't know. What. What do you say to the skeptics, if anything?

C (31:36)

So to start, like, I think this is crazy, right? Like, I. I grew up in a world that was very black and white. So, like, when animals started talking to me and I was seeing my dead grandmother, like, that was insane to me. Didn't make any sense. But the specifics. Like, I think the difference is the specifics that I get, the things that animals tell me. Like, I was just talking to. I have so many stories. We could go for, like, eight hours on how many stories I have, but

we want to hear some of your stories.

C (32:12)

Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So I was just talking to a dog who passed away. He was supposed to be in his mom's wedding, and he didn't make it. He passed before her wedding, and we did a communication after, well, after the wedding. And he was telling me that it was the most beautiful sunny day. The emerald colors that she chose were absolutely beautiful. Her partial updo, she had never been more beautiful. She was the most beautiful bride, and she had to walk by the memento table that she had for him before she walked down the aisle. So even though she was so happy to be getting married, she was tearful before she walked down the aisle. And he just needed her to know that he was there and that she was the most beautiful bride and it was the most beautiful day.

B (33:10)

I'm gonna cry. That is the sweetest.

C (33:12)

I was sobbing. I was sobbing. And she sent me a picture afterwards of the. The groom with his, like, emerald tie and vest. And they had, like, an emerald theme and, like, mind blowing, right? Like, I can't make that stuff up.

B (33:29)

No, that's specificity.

C (33:32)

Yeah. So then, like, I also have this story, and this is. This is, like, really personal. So my brother. I have two brothers. Both of them are, like, very happy for me. But when this first started, they were like, well, I guess, great. You're making money at it. And My one brother's very, like, animal lover, has a dog, and the other one, his wife brought a dog to their relationship, and that's how that goes. So my brother, who has a dog, lost. Like, they were out, like, hunting camp, and they couldn't find him, and he was panicked. And I don't do lost animals unless I already have a relationship with them, and it's too stressful for me. It's too stressful for the animal. Like, I just. I have to have some sort of boundaries. But if I know the animal, then I come through as a friend, and they're not panicked, and they can usually respond to me. So my brother's dog gave me this picture of him by a lake. And I was like, I know you're out in the middle or pond or whatever. And I was like, I know you're out in the middle of nowhere, but I see water, and I can smell something on a grill. And literally five minutes later, they drove by, and there was these people out grilling by a pond, and that's where they found his dog. And my other brother, who had this dog brought to his relationship, the dog wasn't eating. She's little, right? Little dog. She was being so bad about eating. So this brother is a md. Very scientific. Like, thinks I'm crazy, but he's like, I can't. I can't take it anymore. Like, make this dog eat. What? Like, what's happening? And the dog described exactly the type of food that she wanted, and she's very specific about, like, what exactly she wants. They went and got her that food. She's never had a problem eating again.

Like a pet. It's like a pet profiler, you know? Yeah, exactly. I know. It's so funny that you say that too, because when I think back and I'm like, like, how did I get here? Like, how does my path even make any sense? But it does, because all of that, like, intel analysis and making sense of chaos and taking a bunch of data and having to really, like, put it down into coherent parts is now, like, literally what I do. It's just all this information coming into my brain that I then have to tell people.

And also, it just. You have this natural gift. Like, I mean, you kind of can't fight it, I imagine. Like, not that you'd Want to, but, I mean, you were founded as a child, and then it resurfaces and there's. There's just no denying this power. Whatever I call it a power, but

it is a power. And it's broad because it's a broad spectrum of power. Like, you can communicate, you can find lost animals. You have mediumship with animals. It's amazing.

What's the strangest story you have? I mean, like, the snakes. That's pretty strange. I'm not trying to dig for stranger than the snakes, but what's the thing that most surprised you were like, do you ever have just sort of an accidental encounter with some beast? I mean, I guess the bee. Sorry, I'm not trying to, like, dig more than you've given us, but I have more.

I have more. So this one. This was my first super insane one. And they've just grown from here. So I talk to a dog over in Ukraine. She's in the active war zone. And this wasn't the crazy part, but. And her mom had already known this, but she had told me that she knew before they got, like, the air raid sirens. She knew when there was gonna be a bomb going off and she would start pacing the corridor. And her mom realized that, like, she had to go into the bathroom with her because the bombs were gonna go off. And she was always, like, right ahead of the bombs. However, that's not even the crazy part. The crazy part is I'm talking to this dog for the first time. It's, you know, I'm probably three months out of the New York Times article, so I'm super busy. I'm having, like, all of that, like, I feel like a fr. Fraud, right? Like, all that, like, stuff that bubbles up. It's like, oh, my God, do I deserve this? And this dog tells me that I have to tell her mom that when she travels in two weeks that her plane is going to be delayed, but not to worry because she's still going to make it to her destination on time. And I'm like, I'm not saying that. That's like, I don't even know if she's traveling, first of all. And, like, that's too far for me. Like, I'm not doing that. And the dog would not speak to me until I said it. So I was like, okay, do you happen to be traveling anytime soon? Because the dog says that you're traveling. And she was like, oh, yeah. My daughter graduates, so, like, in two weeks I have to fly over to wherever this daughter is. And I was like, bear with me. I know this one's crazy. Like, but your dog says that your plane is gonna be delayed, but not to worry because you're still gonna make it there on time. And, like, God love this lady. She was like, I'll keep it in mind, you know? Well, three weeks later, I get a message from her that she said a bomb went off at the airport the morning that she was supposed to fly out, so her plane was delayed, and she remembered what the dog said. So she was like, you know what? I'm not gonna freak out. I'm not gonna panic. Turned out that then her connection was delayed. She made her connection on time and still made it to her daughter's graduation on time.

So that makes me wonder, like. Like, does that mean dogs are aware of planes and travel and all that, or does it just mean they get the message in a different way? Like, what would you say about that?

C (39:18)

So I already know that what I do is air quotes. Weird. I actually. And back to the original question that I don't know that I ever answered of, like, do I get a bunch of pushback? Like, not really anymore. But I think it's because I approach it in such a way that I'm like, yeah, you can think I'm crazy. It's fine. But, like, the specifics I get are insane. So I already know that what I do is weird. So I try not to make it, like, any weirder. But in answer to your question, I'm gonna get weirder. Please.

I understand. So some animals are more connected than others, right? Like, this dog is otherworldly to me. Like, she's had a lot of other things that she said that have come true. Like, she is very connected. I've had other animals like that that are insanely connected. I, as I get kind of more into this and get more sensitive, will every once in a while get, like, psychic hits about that are very interesting. And I think that's one, because some people, some animals are just more connected to that universal energy that kind of flows through everything. And two, there is this invisible string, if you will, that ties everything together, that makes this timeline less. Like, it's not linear and you still have choices. And sometimes animals will tell me things that they're like, well, I don't know what's going to happen in the next three months, because there has. There's a choice that's going to be made. And depending on the choice is what happens? Or like, in this dog's case, she's like, yeah, it's already happening. So I think it's dependent on how many choices are left to be made, how psychic or premonition y you can be. But there is a invisible string that connects everything that the more connected you are, the more you have.

In the afterlife, this one thing that holds everybody together. So I love that you're bringing that up as a. As a connecting point, and you're bringing up time not being linear so that you can see into the past, the future, in the present, in certain instances. So that's all, you know, just amazing that dogs have. They're connected to that. It feels like they're more open.

I think animals in general just are because they don't have that, I guess, ego. I mean, actually, some animals are super egotistical, but, like, yeah, the blockage. They don't have that little piece that they don't have the verbiage that we do. And they don't have the credit scores and the deadlines and the timelines the way we do. So they never lost their connection to that invisible string where we have. Because we've created this one life that we have to survive.

Yeah, good point. That's. That's right. To me, that makes a lot of sense. You know, I have a question. Do animals ever talk to one another? Have you ever caught, like, little conversations?

C (42:34)

All the time. What's actually really interesting to me is when I get. Because I talk to, like, households of animals a lot, and if there is a beef between two animals, it's usually because they don't realize they can talk to each other. So most of the time, animals know that they can talk to each other. They're talking to each other all the time. I see it. So I have. I have three cats and three dogs in this house, and they're all communicating all the time. But the beefs usually happen in animal families when they don't realize they can communicate. And then my job is to come in as, like, the mediator, the therapist, to be like, hey, you guys can actually speak the same language. And then that usually deals with the problem.

What about people? Like, do you get vibes off of people more than the average Joe because of the skill? Or is that something that's. It feels very different in your mind?

C (43:33)

No, that's actually been something that I've. That's Been a very interesting something that has come. Again, the more connected you are, the more connected you get is kind of the way it seems to me. So the more I do this, the more channels open. And I actually went through a phase last year where it was very hard for me to be like, in public spaces, which is so funny because I'm like. I call myself an introverted extrovert. Like, I can go anywhere and hang out, like, it's fine. But I was really struggling because I could block out the animals, right. I'd like build up the muscle to be able to do that. But people's sadness or people's anger, like, was all of a sudden just out of nowhere, like pummeling me. And I was really having to like, turn that on, turn that off and kind of sort through that. And that, that took a while. Like, there, there. I'd go to agility and I'd be like, agility competitions. I was like, it's not the animals, it's the people.

It seems like there might be a lot of characters there too, by the way.

So the only other thing that you guys, I guess, because I'm still. This is. This is very new to me and I'm still trying to sort my way through what is happening. So I don't know. Are you familiar with the telepathy tapes?

that back a couple of years ago. Yeah, she was one. Yeah, yeah.

So one of my clients that I talk to, her horses and her donkeys and her dogs, works with the autistic community, the non verbals, that sort of thing. And so after she listened to the telepathy tapes, she asked me, she's like, do you think that you could talk to nonverbal children? And I was like, I have no idea. Right. Like, that's never been like my wheelhouse. I don't know. So two of her parents were interested in trying it. And so I have now spoken to a little nonverbal autistic boy and a little girl who. She's not autistic. She has. It's some sort of genetic disorder where she starts like regressing backwards. So she was not verbal. The reason I bring it up is Because I think there's something so unbelievably life changing here, right? So the little boy like told me some things and then one day he like broke through the barrier, right, super excitedly to tell me about Plato. And I was like, oh, interesting. Like, he's like, I love Plato. Play doh's super fun. Like, this is amazing. And so I like texted his dad.

I was like, all right.

Like, he's sending me Play doh. I'm not sure why. And he's like, well, because Play DOH is his favorite toy, but we had to take it away because he was trying to eat it because he's, you know, motor skills.

But after, right, but after you told us that we needed to spend more time and like, like he needed more time than the people were giving him to like learn things and understand things. And he and the dad said after you told us that and we were able to do that, he was able to get more control. We gave him his Play DOH back yesterday and he's been playing with it and hasn't tried to eat it.

That's amazing. Wow, I can't believe that. That's amazing. I have a nonverbal autistic brother, very low functioning. I would be so interested for you to, to talk to him.

C (47:21)

I would, I would love to. I would love to. I love that where, where I sit on this is. I'm like, I'm still struggling with, with the gravity of this because it's really beautiful. But I think like there's such, like, with animals you're like, talks are fluffy and you know, lots of people are like, tell my dog to stick it on the bottom of the dog walk so that we can qualify for finals. It's like, okay, right? There's. Animals are like children. You can tell them things. It doesn't mean they're going to listen. But with this non verbal community, what a, like, what a blessing to be able to talk to them. But then it also opens the door. Like this boy was talking about how for his like spelling keyboard, he, he wanted like the letters to be bigger and farther apart and like light up when you hit them so that he knew like if he was hitting the right motor skill. And his dad was like, oh, we don't have that. And so then I just got really discouraged. Cause I'm like, how can I make a difference if, if that, if, if I can like, what can I, like what can I do about that? So that's where, like that's where I'm struggling right now because it's. I've literally only talked to two and it's been really, really beautiful and amazing. But I'm like, there's a bigger impact here. I just don't know what like intuition is pulling me in that direction. But I don't know where we're going with it yet.

But, but you are making a huge difference by just conveying what he's feeling. That in itself is a huge difference. You know, they may not have that accessible but you know, being heard is very important. So kudos, sweetie. Good job. I'd love for you to talk to my brother. It's amazing.

She's, do I say a member of the Ojibwe nation, She's an indigenous woman and she was talking about animism and how everything's related. I mean this is that basically like we just heard that from another perspective just about how in Native American culture, you know, all animals and even stones and trees have souls. And this is just another version of that. And a reminder.

Yeah. My roommate actually at one point was like, can you talk to plants? And I'm like, I don't know, I'm not going to try to talk to the plants. Like I'm busy enough so I'm not trying to talk to plants. And I was sitting in this like this group meeting of like a bunch of different energy type of people. And so there was like, this really kind of like, circle, like, vibe to it, even though it's not a circle. And as I'm, like, focused on what this person is saying, the plant comes in to show me all the different iterations of its life. Right. Because it's a cutting. So it was like, where it originated from in the forest and how it was cut and propagated there and then sent to a factory and then sent to a home and then sent somewhere else and sent somewhere else, and now it's here. And I was like, wow, crazy.

Well, I mean, what you just said, that's sort of the theme of this show that Irene and I keep coming back to is like, the more open you are, the more you will see, the more experiences you'll have, the more levels you'll see. I mean, not everyone has your skills, but just not even close in general. It's like, even though I might not be able to talk to the animals, just knowing that these thoughts and the consciousness exists, kind of affirming and shifting.

Yeah. I beg to differ because I think that everyone has this ability.

A (54:43)

And this I would be so interested to talk to, like, the indigenous people and all that, because I think they have a much better handle on it than I do. But if you think back before we had language, we were living in community with animals. We were nomads. We were having to travel back and forth. We didn't have a verbal language, so we had some way to communicate with each other. And that's what I'm doing. So I think in all of us and what we use, like, 20% of our brain, Right. I so want somebody to, like, put me in a CT scanner and have me connect to see, like, what actually goes on. Because I think we all have that spot in our brain. It's just a matter of how do we facilitate it, do we grow it, do we strengthen it? And I just happen to grab it and strengthen it, and anybody can. It just. Just takes a lot of time and effort.

Practice. That is beautiful.

I love that. I love. Because I want to be psychic, so I like thinking that I'm just going to think back to the pre verbal times of my ancestors and try to nurture that. Speaking of which, when you said that you went to classes at the beginning, what was that like? When you said you went to Training and mediumship training and stuff like that. What was that like?

C (56:07)

Yeah, we have this local group that there's a really wonderful medium that lives around here that does, like local groups, and she'll do, like, reiki classes or spiritual healing classes or, like, mediumship circles. So it's just a bunch. Again, just a bunch of Joe Schmoes like me that go to this and are like, we want to try it. And, you know, she gives you some exercises at the end of the day. Like, if you boil it all down, what it's been for me is getting out of your thinking brain and into your feeling heart. Right. Like, and that sounds so cliche, but it really is about slowing your brain down and grounding yourself into your heart space to let those little things in that then you can grab hold of. Because we all have little intuitive hits, but then we ignore it and we're like, the bigger thing came through, so we're gonna grab that. But you gotta listen to the little thing.

Yes. That makes so much sense.

I love that because to me, the simplest ideas are the ones that are the most profound. Like, that's such a good reminder. Like, we. We might know that, but we need the reminder, and we need the simple just statement, like, listen to your heart and be open to it and pay attention to your intuition.

Yes. Now I'm gonna go talk to a bee.

Keep your heart open. But I do agree with what you're saying, like, in terms of, like, everybody having that ability. Even though you've mastered this ability. Because even though. Even if you don't believe, like, you can talk to a plant. I've actually put this to the test, and so is my husband will talk and give love to one plant, and it'll thrive over time, and then we won't do it with another plant, and it just won't thrive as much because it's feeding off the energy, you know? So that's like a simple little test that anybody could put to the test that I've put to the test before. And it works.

Yeah. It's like all those studies on, like, the water crystals, if you, like, speak kindly to water crystals, they create these, like, beautiful patterns. Yeah. Like. Like, again, there's science to back this up. And it's just so wild to me because I think the more, like, the more we learn about it, the more this is going to become mainstream.

Yeah. I actually think that this is a perfect transition because so this is. This is actually really interesting. Normally when somebody sends me a picture, I just, like, connect, and then they talk, and it's fine. When you sent me the pictures, Rachel, I was like, oh, she's cute. And then I didn't really get anything, and I was like, oh, no. Is Ruffles not going to talk to me? Like, I was getting, like, all in my head about it. And when I went to bed last night, Ruffles popped through because. And this is. And she did not start. So normally the way communications start, they start with, like, evidence, and they give me, like, their personalities and things that are important to them. Right. To kind of, like, basically give, like, the proof to the person that, like, yes, I'm connected to your dog and this is real. Right. But she actually started with talking about you.

Uh, oh.

And I thought it was really interesting, and it's a perfect segue because we were just. We were just talking about, like, getting out of your own head. She showed me this picture of you, and. And again, like, it was so clear. And I want to make sure I articulate it in the correct way. She says. She said, my mom can be really engaging with me, but she has this worry loop or this intense loop that gets her very stuck in her brain, that even if she's doing something with me, her brain is somewhere else. And sometimes she'll get distracted. Like. Like, she'll be doing something with me, and then all of a sudden, she'll be, like, sitting down and just thinking about this loop or, like, thinking about whatever she's got coming up or work or something, and it's like she dissociates. Does that make sense?

The feeling I got from her was, like, she'll be trying to connect with you, like, do something with you, and you're like, million brain or whatever it is is thinking about the 10 other things that you have to do, and you're kind of stuck up here when she wants you to be, like, more in the moment.

It's more like, yeah, present moment, attention. Like, it's not that you're with her, so, like, right now, my cat's here, my dog's here, but I'm not actually giving them attention. Right. So now I'm connecting in, like, real time with her as opposed to, like, just what came through last night. She's got this bit of, like, a proudness to her. I don't know. I. Maybe I do want to call it a little bit of an ego. Like, there's. There's a little bit about her that feels like she. She should be heard when she wants to be heard. Does that make sense? Do you feel. Do you feel like sometimes she's a little bit, like, in your face about things?

Well, no. I mean, she's very. She's super chill. She's like. I don't know. Irene knows her, too. I don't know what, like, I. I don't think of her as, like, I love her. I don't think of her as ego. Y. But that doesn't mean that you're not. Right. This is just my own, like, my vibes on her. She's almost like a. Like, she just likes to hang out on the back of the couch next to you, and I don't know. She's like, like, my dog growing up is my only comparison. My dog growing up was, like, more human sort of. I mean, more sort of. I don't know. For lack of better human. Like, actually, when I got my first cat and she was just living with the dogs when she was a year old, she was like, I don't fit in. And I'm like, every. Like, what are you talking about? Like, your life is great. The dogs love you. Like, everything's fin. And she's like, no, I don't fit in anywhere. And I'm like, I don't know.

What do you mean?

C (69:28)

And she was like, I'm not a dog and I'm not a human. Like, what am I supposed to do? And so I got her a cat friend and she, like, then she was really content. So I'm wondering if. If you being like, maybe like, oh, she doesn't. Like, I don't. I don't get it. And she's like, I don't fit in. Because the minute when I was like, what do you need? Like, what is at the at. When I boil all of this down, what does this. What do you need? She says, I'm lonely and I want a friend.

Okay, interesting. Should I tell you why I asked about my son?

C (70:04)

Yeah, he.

A (70:05)

I mean, I love dogs, but he really wanted. He's an only kid. You really want a dog? We got the dog and he's very into her and he's. He's never done anything like, you know, a boy pulling the dog's tail. He's never, you know, been anything rough with her. Anything. But like, the past, I don't know, year, two years maybe, like, she. She bolts when he tries. Like, he'll sit down next to her on the couch, she gets off the couch. Like, she's always kind of like, walking away from him, and it's a bummer. So then I was like, I'm gonna ask the animal communicator. I keep joking with him that I was gonna ask too, but that's why. That's what was driving the question.

C (70:41)

Yeah. And it's very much related. She's very energy sensitive. And it's not like, again, I don't want it to be that, like, he's been mean to her. That's not the case at all. It's like he's growing into that more, like, masculine energy part of him. And she's kind of, like, standoffish about it. And I'm asking her what she needs from him in order to feel more of that connection. She says, bear with me here. If he can sit below her. So the feeling I get is if your son can sit either below her. So, like, when she's on the couch sitting, like, a little bit off to the side on the ground and not making eye contact.

Okay.

C (71:33)

Or if she's on the ground sitting, like, a little bit away from her, like, not trying to come up and sit right next to her. Right. Because it's an energy thing. So have him be more consciously aware, basically, of, like, a personal space bubble for her and be beneath her or be away from her and not make eye contact and kind of just like, again, like we talked about, like, breathing and centering.

Okay.

C (71:59)

And in that, she'll start to be like, wait a minute. Maybe he's still cool. Because I think right now, like, I think he just doesn't know the energy that he gives off. And she's kind of sensitive to that. So having her sit or having him sit beneath her or on the side of her and taking those couple breaths, not making eye contact and just, like, keeping the space open for her. And give that, like, a week and see what happens.

Okay. One more Rebels question. I'm just sort of wondering, because. So we used to take her to the dog park, and then she would get, like, chased around, and she got really scared, and so we can't really take her there anymore, but she seems to be scared of dogs that are bigger than her. And I was just wondering, like, what's her. What's her deal? What's her scoop with, Like, I just never know if she's gonna, like, befriend a dog on the sidewalk or suddenly, like. Like, lash out at them because she used to get chased. I think she has, like, preemptive fear or something. So, like, what's the discernment of who she likes and not of dog of dog land?

C (73:14)

So first of all, that makes perfect sense to me why she's asking for, like, a friend in her house. Right? One that you've handpicked as a friend for her. Because I do think that she is very social, and she could have like a little sibling that she can play with. So I think that's. And I'm not telling you that you have to get another dog. Right. Like they can have suggestions, doesn't mean were doing that. But in terms of the other dogs, she says that her problem is that some of them come across as very sweet. But then when she goes up to meet them, they turn on her and she doesn't understand why. Oh my God. And, and the way she sends that to me, I think, I think she can come in again with her like energy sensitivity. I think she can come in to the other dogs a little bit. Like they, they perceive her as a little bit like wishy washy. And so even though they're like, yeah, okay, you can come over here and she's like, yay. And goes to come over, or she's like, no, I don't want to, then they can misconstrue her and that causes the issue. And so it's like a self fulfilling proposition. The zebra.

A (74:29)

Well, yeah, I used to bring her to the dog park and she was really psyched to go there. And then she would be like the one that all the dogs would suddenly start chasing and it made her really, really scared. She'd like yelp and stuff. And then eventually I just had to stop take her because she would, she'd be the, the bait for lack of better, you know, I mean, no, she didn't get attacked, but she got like chased in a fearful fashion. So that would make sense that she, because that's from before, she would want to go up to other dogs.

C (74:57)

Dogs. It is. And she wants like, she wants that interaction. And like she, she loved the, the dog park because she, she's very like, she's very social, like very social with people, very social with other dogs. Like she wants that interaction. The problem is, is that the other dogs, depending on the other dogs can read that wrong and then they misconstrue her energy. And then again she's so energy sensitive that then when they start coming at her, she panics. And so it's like this.

Yeah, exactly.

C (75:30)

This kind of cycle for her. So she does, she does much better with like the individual like one on ones and I think just in general, bigger dogs, bigger energy. Right. So yeah, the smaller dogs or the dogs that are very like really respect her personal space are the types that she can learn how to feel safe with.

Yeah. All right. Wow. I've got a lot of information. Yeah, I'm gonna definitely try the thing for my son and report Back for sure. For myself, I need to be more attentive.
