Comedy legend and dear friend Maya Rudolph joins the show for an unforgettable episode filled with shared memories, ghost stories, and a bit of woo woo magic. Rachel Dratch
Amazing wiretaps.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Hi, you're coming to us from California.
Maya Rudolph
Live from Los Angeles, California.
Rachel Dratch
It's Wednesday morning, so first of all, we're going to start with comedy talk first. But just in terms of Woo Woo esque. I know you were like, I don't know if I have a story because you've been wanting to oblige us.
Maya Rudolph
Yeah, I know. I was like, do I Woo woo. I don't. I. I've told you this so many times. I love this show so much. I think I've heard almost every episode. Ooh, yes, I have favorite episodes that I talk about. Like in the. In the real world, the time travel episode. I can't get enough. I can't get enough. It's mind blowing. It's mind blowing. And I want it to be the closest I've heard to Capturing this idea of time travel and different worlds and the fact that it's like father, daughter, I couldn't love it more. And also I'm a scaredy cat. So A, it's interesting that I love this show and B, that episode did not scare me at all. It made me feel hopeful, which is something that I want to talk about today. Because I think the reason I'm a scaredy cat is cause I've always been so afraid of death. But also, as I learned later in life, isn't that hopeful as long as they're not trying to murder me.
Rachel Dratch
Right, right. Well, yes, that episode you're talking about is the Tara Davis episode. And it's so affirming that. It's affirming that maybe we don't know. We think we know everything. We think everything's finite in science and la la la. But then there's a lot of stories that make you think, well, maybe we don't know everything there is to know.
Maya Rudolph
Yeah. And it makes me kind of like I've thought about it, I've thought about that episode and I've thought about like thinking back on experiences of like deja vu's and like, have I seen you somewhere before?
You know, that kind of stuff. Like, what does that mean then? Or is it. I don't know, I don't know. I love it.
Rachel Dratch
Well, also it's funny cause the other episode you mentioned as your favorite is the one that we always talk about, the Craig Chester astroprojection one, which is fun but also kind of does the same thing of like, it's a little.
Maya Rudolph
Bit disturbing because of the giant lobster planet. I was like, I don't know how I feel about the giant crustacean planet. Or the like when the guy was sleeping and he was like, I saw what you were dreaming about. I was like, oh no, no, Sarah, get of my bedroom. But I love that that was his experience.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Maya Rudolph
Like, I think what's been most interesting for me about Woo Woo is that I want to know. I want to know that there's more. I want to know that this exists. I want to see some shit move, but I kind of don't want to see some shit move because I fear that I'll be scared. But I wonder if I don't see any shit move because the universe knows I'm scared and doesn't want to. It doesn't wanna scare me. I think my mom protects me from being scared because she knows I'm scared. But that being said, I wanna see my mom you know, so I'm like, okay, universe, show me my mom. Like, I wanna talk to my mom. I wanna ask her questions. I wanna hug her, I wanna hold her. I wanna, like, be with her and have this experience. But I don't have any of that. I've only had one instance that I thought maybe could be it. Because you know how people say, like, loved ones that are gone meet you in your dreams, and you'll have people say, like, oh, it was so real. He was sitting at the foot of my bed. And I. You know, this happened. And I remember this when I woke up, like, I only had one dream when I was living in New York, when I was doing snl, that I saw my mom at.
Whatever was, like, the way station between here and heaven. And it was an AM pm. It was like a mini mart. It's like I can remember when I saw her in a dream, and I feel like once is not enough. Like, let's go, Minnie. I want to see you. I want to talk to you. I want to ask you questions. I want to see. I want to hug you. Like.
Where is she? So my question is, like, why? I don't want a creepy figure in the corner staring at me with long hair in its face and mumbling shit. I don't want to hear weird sounds or I don't want red rum. I don't want terror. I want loved ones. I love Dia de los Muertos in Mexico. I love that holiday. They don't do Halloween. They do Dia de los Muertos. And you make an altera. You make an altar, and you put your loved ones that are gone or people that you love, animals, and you make an ofrenda. You make, like, you know, you put, like, their favorite drink or food and marigolds, and it's beautiful. And I love the idea that, like, we can still, you know, commune with people that aren't here anymore. But I don't know. I've always been, like, morbidly fascinated, no pun intended, with, like, ghosts and shit. That's why Fred Armisen and I did that show forever.
Rachel Dratch
Oh, right.
Maya Rudolph
Which only lasted one season, but it was because we wanted to play ghosts and we, like, wanted to. We wanted to have fun with this idea of, like, communing with the living.
Irene Bremis
Yeah, I love that.
Rachel Dratch
Well, it's funny you say that, because this whole podcast, like, sometimes it's very, you know, ha, ha. Like, I don't know. Sometimes it's, like, fun and light, and other times it does go to this poignant area because this is kind of the more, you know, the serious side of Woo woo or whatever. Like, what I mean is like the human yearning of, like, what happens.
Maya Rudolph
I thought. I almost thought you said the human urinal.
The human urinal.
Rachel Dratch
This is the human urinal of the podcast. So.
Maya Rudolph
Well, I mean, I guess that's what it is. It's like, I listened to that one about Jean told me, and like, isn't that human yearning?
Rachel Dratch
I mean, so Jean told me that's our Frank Whaley episode. And that to me is our most convincing ghost story that we have.
Maya Rudolph
Let's just talk about. Let's just talk about the poltergeist ectoplasm.
Irene Bremis
Yes.
Rachel Dratch
I mean, I don't even know what to make of that.
Maya Rudolph
I don't know what to say.
Rachel Dratch
I've never heard.
Irene Bremis
That's a mic drop now.
Rachel Dratch
That's like horror movie shit.
Maya Rudolph
But you know what I found interesting listening to that episode?
Rachel Dratch
What?
Maya Rudolph
He said we were gonna take it to a lab, but we didn't. Why didn't you take it to a lab? Prank. Why don't you take it to a lab? Also, like, and my question is like. And then you asked him, like, why didn't you look her up? And he was like, yeah, I didn't look her up. Why didn't. I'm like, why didn't you? I would have. But my point is, I didn't have this experience. And I think people are told to forget a little bit. Like, I think the spirits were like, you're not going to the lab? You're not gonna look me up?
Rachel Dratch
You don't remember we're men in blacking this.
Maya Rudolph
Yeah, yeah, that's what I thought. Because I was like, I would have done that. I would have, like, put it in a little, like, test tube. Test tube or like, jar in my kitchen and been like, okay, when I'm in the mood, I'm gonna go take this to a lab. When I. When I get off my ass and find a lab, you know.
Rachel Dratch
Right, right, right, right, right, right.
Maya Rudolph
But he didn't. And I was like, I was sure that he looked her up, but he didn't. Which I think is kind of interesting. Right?
Rachel Dratch
Well, we looked her up. We looked her up. And there was an actress named Eugene.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Whatever her name was.
Rachel Dratch
Eugene. Yes, yes, yes.
Maya Rudolph
See, this is what's interesting about Woo Woo guys. Now I'm like, now I'm like my second cup of coffee does.
Irene Bremis
Okay, good, I've eaten it up.
Maya Rudolph
I think I'm like, the more I think about Woo Woo the more I realize I've been interested in this stuff forever. By the way, I hate scary movies. Love them. I couldn't be more frightened by a scary movie trailer on television. I close my eyes and plug my ears, I'm terrified. Cause I don't wanna have bad dreams. And I'm scared to be alone at night. But loved Poltergeist when I was a kid. Loved the movie. Watched it over and over and over when it came on cable. Obsessed with Poltergeist. Why? Why? I'm. I don't like being scared. Why am I obsessed with that movie?
Rachel Dratch
I don't know. Maybe it's like conquering. Yeah, conquering.
Maya Rudolph
I can smell. Oh, I can smell her, Stephen. When she's like.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
I remember that.
Maya Rudolph
Oh my God, when she. When the wind was blowing. And she can smell her daughter. Oh, oh, she can smell her and that clown shit. Like, I can't watch. I can't watch. Like Halloween.
Rachel Dratch
Like, I see bloody blood. Yeah, no, I'm like, I don't like scary movies.
Maya Rudolph
Do you remember that movie, Somewhere in Time? Christopher Reeves.
Irene Bremis
Oh, yeah.
Rachel Dratch
What's the plot of Somewhere in Time?
Maya Rudolph
He falls in love with this, like, picture of a theater actress. Which is. What's her name? Jane. Jane Seymour.
Rachel Dratch
Yes.
Maya Rudolph
And he's a professor and he's studying time travel. And then, you know, he likes. Holds this coin and lays on his bed and you think he's like, he doesn't sleep, he doesn't eat, and then he's going back in time or whatever. Which I. When I was a kid, I was like, I love this. And he goes to this, like, hotel where she used to perform or whatever. And like, he's. Oh, he's staying in this hotel and the man behind the desk's name is Arthur, who's helping him or whatever. And then when he goes back in time, there's a little boy in a ball, like, goes his feet. And then someone says, come on, Arthur, let's go. And I'm like, that's Arthur.
Rachel Dratch
Oh, that's cute.
Maya Rudolph
It's really cute. I love shit like that.
Rachel Dratch
So, like.
Irene Bremis
Me too.
Rachel Dratch
Well, I mean, this pod does a lot of that. Like, I think it's very rare that we've had a scary one. Right, Irene?
Irene Bremis
Yeah, we haven't.
Rachel Dratch
It's. To me, Woowoo isn't scary. I mean, we've only scared.
Irene Bremis
I'm like Maya. But I think, like, if the universe felt my energy maybe kind of like ease its way into my peripheral or front vision, you know what I mean? Like I'm scared. Like you. I'm always like, that's traumatizing.
Rachel Dratch
Yeah, but Maya, did you hear Liz Kakowski's episode? Ooh, that one's creepy as hell.
Maya Rudolph
It's the most creepy. I think it's the most scared I've ever been listening to it. However, something in the back of my head was like, oh, I know what she means. I can't say, like, I've had that experience, but I can't say I haven't, if that makes sense. Like, I certainly haven't had a recurring thing or a specific room or like. But the fact that she and Craig had the same experience years ap.
Rachel Dratch
I. I know. It's crazy.
Maya Rudolph
Makes me sick to my stomach. It's terrifying.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
I know.
Maya Rudolph
I think the thing that was most interesting to me about that episode is that she was like, I couldn't move. I know. Yeah, that's frightful.
Rachel Dratch
And then, you know what else was so weird? That the next morning, they didn't even, like, seem to register. Like, they went through, like a whole year. They went through a whole year.
Maya Rudolph
That's what I mean.
Rachel Dratch
Why didn't they say, I don't, Mom, I'm being haunted by an evil spirit.
Maya Rudolph
Why didn't they say it right?
Irene Bremis
Right. It's almost like they just kept the abuse secret. Like, even with this specter or whatever the heck was going on, this entity. You know what I mean? Like, no one said, I. This happened to me. You know?
Maya Rudolph
Why? Like, is there.
Rachel Dratch
Is that like.
Maya Rudolph
Or is there a little wand that's like, you're fine. You're not going to say anything? Yeah, like, why don't people say anything? Right?
Rachel Dratch
Why don't people say anything?

Okay, what we have before you go, experiences. I just want to go back because we always do a little comedy chat. Now I don't even. You know this. You're a longtime listener. It seems like maybe with you we don't even need to, because whatever. We're buddies. We were on outsell together.
Irene Bremis
You know what?
Rachel Dratch
And we all know. We all know Maya's funny. We all know your career speaks for itself. I don't know.
Maya Rudolph
I like it when you talk about me. I'm a Leo. Let's hear it.
Irene Bremis
Oh, I was gonna guess and I knew it.
Maya Rudolph
You weren't gonna guess, Leo.
Irene Bremis
Absolutely. There's no question. I mean, come on. That's an easy one. Yes, absolutely.
Rachel Dratch
Well, now she's growing out her hair, too.
Irene Bremis
You'd be like a lion girl.
Rachel Dratch
Myertz. I don't really. Let's just. We'll just The Myertz background. This might be ridiculous. We're already on the Woo woo train. But Meyertz came to SNL from Groundlings the same year. I got there in the fall of that year. And then you came in the spring. Yeah, we kind of started out kind of the same time and. Oh, my God, it just seems so redundant, though I keep saying this.
Maya Rudolph
I love it.
Rachel Dratch
What can I say? You're so Funny.
Maya Rudolph
What can I say about my dear friend?
Rachel Dratch
What can I say, Rachel Drew, I mean, we've been in the foxholes of comedy together.
Maya Rudolph
We've been in the trenches, baby.
Rachel Dratch
Well, and then of course, Meyer, whatever, you've gone on to be a big star, six time Emmy winner, right? Because I looked it up. Six time Emmy winner, huge.
Maya Rudolph
What the fuck?
Rachel Dratch
Deservedly so.
Maya Rudolph
Thank you, friend.
Rachel Dratch
You're the best in the biz, kid.
Irene Bremis
That's right. And let's not forget Princess, courtesy of George. I saw you and you are on fucking fire, sweetie. Fire.
Rachel Dratch
And let me tell you this, we have a bit of a woo woo fire. I love sweetie. Maya.
Irene Bremis
Okay, you're out sweetieing me with that. You own it, sister.
Rachel Dratch
Maya, we have a bit of a woo woo moment at your Princess concert.
Maya Rudolph
You do?
Rachel Dratch
Well, unfortunately I couldn't be there, but Irene was in the audience. You got Irene tickets.
Irene Bremis
Oh, thank you for the tickets.
Rachel Dratch
That was very nice.
Maya Rudolph
My pleasure.
Rachel Dratch
Oh my gosh, she had the best time ever. And tell your tale.
Irene Bremis
Oh my gosh, this is an incredible story. Okay, so you know, Rachel was talking about manifestation. We always talk about manifesting on this show. And I'm like, I have very little luck with manifesting. So I said, let me just give it a go. Let me start with something small. You have to use specificity. So in my head, I'm manifesting a banana. Okay? I'm manifesting a banana.
Maya Rudolph
Stop.
Rachel Dratch
She just picked a banana randomly.
Irene Bremis
She already knows where this is going. I'm manifesting a banana. I'm not getting a banana. I'm like, come on, universe. I'm asking for one simple, small. A banana, sweetie. That's all I want is banana. Nothing's happening. Nothing's happening. I. I'm at your show.
Maya Rudolph
Stop.
Irene Bremis
I'm at your show. And you know where I'm going with this, sweetie? You know where all of a sudden a banana is hurled and I'm the girl that catches it? No, no, I caught your banana.
Maya Rudolph
I'm literally the person that tossed the.
Irene Bremis
Banana and I caught it.
Maya Rudolph
That's insane.
Rachel Dratch
That's insane is that you and I both connections.
Maya Rudolph
You. I mean, of all the things to hurl at you through the sky. Uh huh.
Irene Bremis
And I caught it and I ate it. Oh, it's a real banana.
Rachel Dratch
It's a real time. I thought it was like a plushie banana.
Maya Rudolph
It was a real banana. From our dressing room, from our rider.
Irene Bremis
Whoever throws a banana at a concert, I've never seen it.
Rachel Dratch
That's crazy.
Maya Rudolph
I caught.
Irene Bremis
Fell in my.
Rachel Dratch
She Reported to me immediately. Very excited.
Irene Bremis
It's just so crazy.
Maya Rudolph
Maya, like, seriously, is that the only time you've manifested something recently that you can recall? Cuz that's a very specific manifestation.
Irene Bremis
I mean, it is. I mean, I should probably try to manifest a little more after that, because that was like. But I don't think anything can top that. There's also that, like, that's the headliner of my manifestation.
Maya Rudolph
That's a mic drop. That's a mic drop. Manifestation.
Irene Bremis
That's a banana drop, sweetie. That is a banana drop. I can't top that shit. So I'm like, oh man, what am I gonna do? But is that incredible?
Maya Rudolph
Wow, I love that.
Rachel Dratch
Maya, have you ever done one of those little like, I asked the universe for something or have you not really done that in terms of like a little sign?
Maya Rudolph
I mean, all the time.
Rachel Dratch
Yeah.
Maya Rudolph
I also, like, I'm that person who, you know, I. When I was a kid, I used to like, not step on the crack or like, do that thing. Like, well, if this happens, if I hold my breath and that, you know, that whole thing, which is clearly a child of trauma and like, needs, you know, to have a therapist, which I've definitely gone to for that. But I feel like maybe I'm getting the question wrong. But like, in the past, you know, even on some of our trips, like when we have a tarot card reader or if I've been at a party and someone's reading palms, I always get the worst reading. The worst 100% of the time, always the worst reading. I was at a party once with an old boyfriend and we were like, let's get our palms read.
Rachel Dratch
Let's get turn.
Maya Rudolph
I'm like, okay. And then she was like, the lady saw me and she was like, the guy you're with, leave him.
She was like, she goes, this is a sinking ship. I was like, we're at a party, we're at a party.
Rachel Dratch
Question. Did you have those vibes going in? Like, when she said that, were you like, what?
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
That's impo.
Rachel Dratch
Or were you like, oh, Jesus.
Maya Rudolph
Maybe in that situation, I might have not had those vibes when I went in. But like, I am a pessimist, so.
Rachel Dratch
But that was a shocker when she said that, like, you were just having a good time?
Maya Rudolph
A little bit. Yeah. Well, I'm sure it probably tapped into something in my. In my being that was like, is he the right guy?
Irene Bremis
Exactly, it's that.
Rachel Dratch
And what about the other. Wait, do you have another, like, really bad reading?
Maya Rudolph
They've all been bad. I've never had a good one. What was yours?
Rachel Dratch
Okay, so I was putting this out. When Maya said she was coming out, I was like, we could just talk about the little, like, you know, readers we've gone to when we've taken these lady trips. So the first one there was a scene in wine country based on this grouchy tarot reader that came, and she was just kind of a grouch. I don't even remember my reading.
Maya Rudolph
I don't remember my reading, and I certainly don't think it was very good. The only reading I've ever had where I was like, did she say that now? Was years ago. I was in Salem, Massachusetts, close to your hometown.
Rachel Dratch
We just went there for the show. Yes, it was so fun.
Irene Bremis
You did.
Maya Rudolph
And I haven't heard that.
Rachel Dratch
Okay, well, put it on the queue.
Maya Rudolph
That's on my queue. No pressure, but a woman read my tarot cards, and I do think she said I was gonna have a fourth child. And I was like, yeah, right. And I have a fourth child.
Rachel Dratch
Oh, okay. That's something.
Maya Rudolph
I think. I'm not totally positive. And it was one of those places, like on that main strip where you were like, whatever. Yes, it's silly.
Rachel Dratch
Yeah, yeah, yeah. We went. And there are all these little desks and people set up with their various Woo Woo arts.
Maya Rudolph
Yeah, I. Okay, here's my question, though.
Rachel Dratch
Yeah.
Maya Rudolph
I personally, and I don't feel that I. I feel like I have a wall up. So I think that, like, it's no reader's fault. Like, why do I get horrible readings? Why do I get. You know, I feel like someone's protecting me. They're like, you don't stay away from my baby. Don't touch my baby. Like, I'm so afraid, so afraid. And at this point, I'm like, why am I so afraid? Like, at this point, what is there to be afraid of?
Rachel Dratch
You know what I feel like you could do? This is from an amateur Woo Woo practitioner.
Maya Rudolph
I'm all ears.
Rachel Dratch
I feel like you could just, like.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Open yourself up a little bit more.
Rachel Dratch
I don't mean as a person. You're like. I mean, if you want to. Like, I feel like when I feel like this is all in my consciousness and then I'm very open to, like, seeing signs or, like, positive gifts, you know, whatever you want to look at this as. When I'm consciously open, there's like a channel that opens and like, just stuff starts coming towards you. And none of that is scary. You know what I mean? Like. Like there's a division of this that's not scary. Scary at all. I could see, like, going to psychics. I could see how that's, like, a whole other thing. I'm just talking about, like, opening the channels to whatever this. I don't know. What am I saying here?
Irene Bremis
I don't know, but you're a great receiver. I mean, even Rachel, you are open and things come to you. It's. It's.
Maya Rudolph
Yeah, it's crazy.
Irene Bremis
Like, even. Well, I wanted to say one thing. I almost started crying when you were talking about your mom because I just lost my mother. And everything that you were saying was, like, so, like, you know, I haven't seen any signs, but I will say this. My mother was a very funny person. And when she passed away, she just passed away a few weeks ago. Oh, I know Rachel. And I have to tell this story. When I. Rachel was the first person that I told because I love her so much. And I just said, Rachel. My mother just passed away and Rachel. What came through accidentally? Was Rachel eating an ice cream cone?
Rachel Dratch
Okay, wait, go ahead. I was explaining. I was texting her. This is kind of funny. I was texting her, like, oh, my gosh, I'm so sorry. And then I accidentally pressed something in my phone. Like, it was so inappropriate. I actually pressed this picture of me with. Was it with my mom? Was I with my mom? And I was holding this. I was holding this really tiny ice cube, making a face because the ice cream was so small. And so I actually send this thing and me going. And like, after. I'm like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry. And then I immediately, like, delete. And said like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry about that. But then.
Irene Bremis
But then, listen to this. So she sends me this picture, and then she sends me another one of her eating an ice cream cone. Now, let me explain to you. So she's like, I'm so sorry. That was so inappropriate. I don't know where that came from. Well, the last living picture of my mother. Is this. Maya, I don't know if you can see this.
Unknown/Brief Interjection
Stop.
Rachel Dratch
It's Irene's mom making kind of a similar face, also holding an ice cream cone.
Maya Rudolph
Stop.
Irene Bremis
Do you.
Rachel Dratch
That's weird, right?
Irene Bremis
Is that unbelievable? That's the last living creature.
Rachel Dratch
We're, like, making the same face.
Irene Bremis
The next day, she died.
Rachel Dratch
We don't know what to make of this. But we just thought it was.
Irene Bremis
We don't know what to make of this. Is that unbelievable?
Maya Rudolph
I'm shook.
Rachel Dratch
I don't I don't know what it means.
Irene Bremis
I'm shook.

Maya Rudolph
Okay, now my woo woo gears are turning. Okay.
Rachel Dratch
Uh huh.
Irene Bremis
Let him turn. Let him turn.
Maya Rudolph
Because you're reminding me of a woo woo story that involves Emily Spivey and Scott Philbrook.
Rachel Dratch
Yes.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Her husband. Yes.
Maya Rudolph
They believe that my mom visited them and their friends. They have stories about my mom. Scott and Emily have stories about my mom, but I don't. So I have always thought my mommy is like, okay, sweetie, if you're scared, I will. No one's going to hurt you. Like I'm protecting you because I was a little girl when my mom died. So I was way like little girl fears. But honey, I'm not a little girl anymore. I just did that for you. So. Okay, wait, I need to go back. So years ago, I really think we should get Emily and or Scott on this call. I'm not kidding.
Rachel Dratch
Okay. Okay.
Maya Rudolph
Years ago, I was living in Austin, Texas, making a futuristic film called Idiocracy which predicted the culture.
Irene Bremis
Yes, I saw. It was very funny.
Maya Rudolph
It was funny until it became a reality film.
Irene Bremis
Exactly.
Maya Rudolph
And Emily and Scott came to visit their friends. Long story short, I went to their house, to their friend's house. Scott and Emily were staying there. And that night, I think her friend said she couldn't find her earrings. Like her best earrings. I don't know. Some. I'm telling you, Emily and Scott will remember this story so much better because I don't know what's wrong with me, but I block everything out. Also, I didn't spend the night there. They were staying there.
Rachel Dratch
Okay.
Maya Rudolph
So they said like, I think she was like my diamond earrings or my something earrings. I always take them off and put them by the bed or this box or something like that. And they weren't there. And she couldn't find them all night and was distracted. And she was kind of bummed because they were like special or something. And so the next day I spoke to Emily and she said something like, blah, blah, blah. That was so fun. Yeah, whatever. And you know, Amy found her earrings and I was like, what do you mean? And she goes, you know, she found her earrings. And I said, what do you mean? I know. And she said, oh, and somehow my memory of this story is that a woman with a short afro was there. And somehow I don't understand who said this or who saw her or what. Like, showed up and then they, like, she was, like, in the house, and then the earrings showed up again. And all of this. I was just sort of like, what? I don't know what you're talking about, but Emily is convinced it was my mother. Convinced Emily said she has. Emily and Scott feel like they have been visited by my mother more or less. Like, not like, oh, this is her face, but, like, hearing her music and this thing happens or something, like, on the subway and, like, this thing happens. Like, Minnie Spirit is very much alive with my friends. And I've always felt an incredibly close connection with Emily Spivey, to the point where I feel like we grew up together, but we didn't. But we feel like a very strong connection. Almost like a.
Umbilical sisterly bond. Yeah. Yeah. And she's so close with Scott. Her husband Scott feels it, too, which is, like, so perfect for Emily and Scott. They're that couple, you know.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Rachel Dratch
Yeah.
Maya Rudolph
But I'm dying. I wish I'd thought about this before, but I'm dying to know if they remember that story and if they have more details.
Rachel Dratch
I was gonna ask you on this topic. I take it, like you said, you've never really gotten, like, a sign. Sign from your mom or aside from, like, feelings and this, you know, guardian angel feeling. But in terms of, like, I was just wondering, have you ever asked for a sign?
Maya Rudolph
Yes, but I feel like. Have I really asked? Like, really, really asked?
Rachel Dratch
Okay. Cause I just want to say that I. Irene, like, when we first started this, I didn't really believe in that. It just was. Personally, like, I. I'm like, more power to you for people that are getting signs. I just felt like. Well, it seems a little like wishful thinking to me, like, to say, like, oh, that bird brought that. You know? But then as I've been doing this and now I get more and more open to everything, so. Including a story that happened to me, which I don't know if you heard that one, and I'm going to send it to you, Maya. But I had a really. It's called Rachel Gets a Message. And I had a crazy sign come my way. And it was after. This is why I'm bringing this up. Not to go back to me, but because Casey Wilson was on here. She talked about looking for signs and then receiving this kind of unusual happening that had to do with her Mom. And in that conversation she's like, well, you're supposed to ask for something really specific. And then I didn't really think much of it, but then like a couple weeks later, I just thought. My point is that, like, I just don't know if you've ever thought of asking for one, but I feel kind of silly saying that because I know.
Maya Rudolph
No, no, I.
Rachel Dratch
Your mom thought about and like, I don't want to step on any of your personal, you know, relationship for some like, woo woo gimmicky thing, but I don't know your feelings on that.
Maya Rudolph
Well, sometimes, like when my kids were little. By the way, when you were talking about the ice cream cone. Irene, I don't mean to be a creep, but I thought you were talking about this picture of my mom.
Irene Bremis
Okay, what's going on?
Maya Rudolph
What's happening? That's what I thought you were talking about. When you started to talk about the ice cream cone. I thought you were gonna say. I thought you were gonna say Rachel sent you a picture of that, but she sent you a picture of her with an ice cream con.
Irene Bremis
Okay, your mother just contacted you live on this show. I mean, that was a way of doing it. That what is happening right now.
Maya Rudolph
But I mean, that picture's been around forever.
Irene Bremis
Yeah, but we saw.
Rachel Dratch
Listen, you even recreated it. You recreated it.
Maya Rudolph
I recreated it when you hosted, which.
Rachel Dratch
Is an amazing photo. But.
Irene Bremis
But we just.
Rachel Dratch
That is weird, though. That is a little weird. That is weird. You came on a woo woo. You came on a woo woo show. I'm holding an ice cream. Irene's mom holding an ice. It's moms and ice cream cones. What's up with her? No, whatever. I'm over connecting with many dots.
Maya Rudolph
Irene, when you started telling the story, I thought you were going to talk about my mom's album cover where she's holding an ice cream cone was what Rachel sent you. But then you said the picture and then you showed Rachel and I was like, oh, that's so weird. And I was like, God, it looks like they're both doing like the perfect angel album cover.
Irene Bremis
I just can't even right now. That, to me, I don't think you're overreaching. That is just weird. Okay, it's like our mothers are busting in by me showing you that picture. Like you're. You're showing me your mother's picture. I just. Okay, I'm just gonna say yes.
Maya Rudolph
Yes.
Irene Bremis
That is a woo moment. Yes.
Rachel Dratch
Yes. I'm gonna say yes.
Maya Rudolph
Yes.
Irene Bremis
Yes.
Rachel Dratch
Well, that is.
Maya Rudolph
That's the thing is, like, if you want a message. Woo woo, universe. Yes. I say yes. Give it to me. Give it to me. Let's go.
Irene Bremis
Give it to me. Let's go.
Maya Rudolph
Give it.
When my grandma died, Rachel got to meet my grandmother. My dad's mom, Muriel Rudolph, who was incredible, incredible woman.
Rachel Dratch
Elegant, elegant.
Maya Rudolph
So elegant. She got to come to snl, I believe, when Snoop Dogg hosted. And Snoop Dogg met her at the party. I introduced her to Snoop Dogg and he said, you're looking good, mama. She was almost in her 90s at the time, in her late 80s. She looked great. But I remember when my grandma died, I was at work one day and someone was talking about, oh, when their parent or grandparent passed or something. They always like something about a penny. And it was like they always left a penny. And so when I see a penny, I think of my loved one that passed away. And I said, well, my grandma would never leave a penny. She'd leave more than that. I was kind of joking about it, you know. And so somehow I got in my mind that it was like a dime and a penny. And I find a dime and a penny a lot. Like, not a penny, a dime and a penny. I don't find a penny. I found a penny and a dime and a dime. Like that would be my grandmother. My grandmother would be like, I'm not just leaving you a penny, I'm also leaving you. I'm leaving you more than a penny.
Irene Bremis
Yeah, you know that's right. 11 cents, sweetie, for you.
Maya Rudolph
11 cents.
Irene Bremis
But that is weird. A dime and a penny.
Maya Rudolph
Also, like, who has pennies anymore? Because they just got canceled.
Rachel Dratch
They got canceled.
Maya Rudolph
Nobody.
Rachel Dratch
Guess what?
Maya Rudolph
Pennies. You got canceled.
Rachel Dratch
Okay, okay, I'm excited now. I'm excited about the ice cream.

Marshall's buyers are hustling hard to get amazing new gifts into stores right up to the last minute. Like a designer perfume for that friend who never RSVP'd wishlist topping toys for her kids who came too. Belgian chocolates for the neighbor. A cozy scarf for your boss and a wool jacket for your husband that you definitely did not.
Maya Rudolph
Almost forget.
Tovala Ad Voice
Marshalls. We get the deals. You give the good stuff even at the last minute.
Rachel Dratch
Phew.
Tovala Ad Voice
Find a Marshall's near you.
Rachel Dratch
Maya, do you want to tell the strange hotel coincidence?
Irene Bremis
Ok, ok.
Rachel Dratch
But let me just set the scene. Let me set the scene. So if you. We're referencing so many old episodes of this. We don't usually do that.
Maya Rudolph
But if you look good about this.
Rachel Dratch
I know it's a retrospective.
Maya Rudolph
This is a retrospective episode highlight. Rio, first time guest, longtime listener.
Rachel Dratch
Longtime listener. That's what it's called. That's what this is called. Okay, so if you listen, I've referenced this, the fifth one I'm referencing. If you've listened to the episode Rachel's very own ghost story. Yes, I had.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
I had.
Rachel Dratch
The only ghost story I have is I was in a hotel in LA of kind of like a hotel that doesn't seem old and doesn't seem haunty. But I had. I was staying there for a month and I saw the same pair of ghosts there many nights to the point where I said one night out loud because I had really early call times. I was like, guys, guys, I Need you to. I need you to not show up today. Because they weren't like scary, but they were like jarring, you know. So I was like, guys, please, I have an early call. Like out loud. I said, okay. Anyway, so that happened now. That was my ghost story. Now when I'm asking Maya if she has any stories whatsoever of woo woo, she says.
Maya Rudolph
I said, wait, what was the name of that hotel you stayed at in LA where you saw the man and woman?
Rachel Dratch
Right.
Maya Rudolph
And I don't know why, but when she told that story originally, I was like, that's where I stayed. And I think it is haunted. Even though I don't feel like I've ever seen a ghost, I felt something at that hotel.
Rachel Dratch
Cause it's not a big like.
Maya Rudolph
No, not flashy. And again, I grew up in LA and I live here now. But at the time I was living in New York. And so I once again flown out for work. I was out here making a film that is probably in the Criterion Collection right now called the Duplex, starring Bet Stiller and Drew Barrymore. Anyway, I don't think it's in the Criterion Collection. That was a joke.
But I was staying here at the time and I remember staying there a couple nights and I was I think dating my now husband. And I think I was like, I'm not gonna stay here anymore. Like, I don't think I wanna. I don't think I can sleep here another night kind of feeling. There was something very creepy about it. I remember my bedroom had like a step down to the living room. Does that. Yes, I think you might have said that in the episode. And I was like, that's it.
Irene Bremis
That's it.
Rachel Dratch
Yeah. Because the funny thing is you were like, where was that hotel?
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Was that near?
Rachel Dratch
And I was like, yeah. And then you're like, I had a creepy experience there.
Maya Rudolph
I did. I remember waking up having had like very like stressful, scary, convoluted, strange dreams. Like those kind of dreams where you're like. Like kind of. And I can't say what the dreams were. Cause I don't remember. But I remember feeling like, oh my God, that was too intense. I don't want to go back to sleep and have that dream again.
Irene Bremis
Right.
Maya Rudolph
And the feeling that was in my body when I woke up did not feel good. I don't wanna say, like I couldn't move. Cause I can't say that's what it was. It wasn't like I had to scream or anything. But something wasn't right. That's all I Remember? That's all I remember is like, something is not right here. I don't like the way it feels here. It's fugly. It was a fugly room.
Rachel Dratch
Well, what I remember is with this description, you might think it was a creepy room, but it's not. The room itself did not have creepy vibes. Like, it didn't seem like this place. It's gonna be haunted.
Maya Rudolph
It wasn't old and haunted.
Rachel Dratch
Yeah, yeah, it seems like kind of 80s.
Maya Rudolph
Yeah, it was updated. But not this year. Like, not this decade, if that makes sense.
Rachel Dratch
So also our friends Liz and our friend Maggie also had creepy. Maggie Carey. They also had creepy experiences there too. Liz had creepier things.
Maya Rudolph
Something wasn't right. But it was confirmed for you, right?
Rachel Dratch
It was confirmed because I eventually got to meet the concierge, like 10 years later. And I was like, is that place haunted? She was like, oh, yes, definitely. And then she told me all these stories.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Well, this is in.
Rachel Dratch
She gets on the episode, she tells all the stories of what people said there. But I saw. Yeah, confirmed. Stamp confirmed.
Maya Rudolph
I saw. But you saw a gay ghost, right?
Rachel Dratch
I saw a gay ghost and his partner on the down low, on the DL. That's the feeling I got. They were dressed like of another time and they just seemed like they were on the down low. But the funny thing is, when I actually talked to the concierge, I said, what do people see?
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
And she said, they report seeing a dapper gentleman.
Rachel Dratch
And that's what he. He was dapper. Like it's such a specific word.
Maya Rudolph
That was a. That was a polite word for gay.
Rachel Dratch
Yeah, he's a bit dapper, that one.
Emily not responding, but I just text her like a couple minutes ago. Okay. So anyways, that was creepy.
Maya Rudolph
I feel like I should ask Scott.
Rachel Dratch
Or A Part 2. Oh, yeah.
Maya Rudolph
I mean, Scott, girl, I will. I will fuck up a part two anytime. Yeah, I love it anytime.
Rachel Dratch
You'll have to come back and report on your manifestation.
Maya Rudolph
Okay.
Irene Bremis
Oh, no, my.
Rachel Dratch
I want to say, like, you know, I didn't know how. How deep you'd want to go on Woo woo. Like if you'd want to even mention.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Your mom or not.
Rachel Dratch
And I just, I just want to acknowledge, like, you know, we talk about woo woo, and we talk about lost loved ones, but you know, you lost your mom young and that's different. And so I'm not being at all like, you know, and I know you know this, but just for listeners and stuff, like, I take this seriously of your loss and like, not to be like Flip and like, ask for a butterfly. Like, I mean, this is a personal thing. It's personal for you, wherever you're at, wherever you've been on this journey. And I just want.
Maya Rudolph
Okay, now you're. Now I feel like Elaine's gonna lose it. Okay, you just said ask for a butterfly. Well, there is a butterfly that visits me a lot in my yard. There is a butterfly for real that visits me. I'm not joking. It's a monarch, and she visits me a lot. And a lot of times I will say, hi, mama. I will talk to the butterfly. And the butterfly visits me. So I sound crazy.
Rachel Dratch
No, you don't. Not on this show. Not at all.
Maya Rudolph
Not on.
Rachel Dratch
There's no crazy levels on this.
Maya Rudolph
But you said butterfly, like, haha. Isn't that funny?
Rachel Dratch
But like, yeah.
That'S the thing I.
Maya Rudolph
See all the time.
Irene Bremis
And that's the thing you connect with. See, that's like.
Rachel Dratch
That's what you connect with, sweetie.
Irene Bremis
Connection.
Maya Rudolph
You want to say a third one.
Rachel Dratch
For me to go?
Maya Rudolph
Yeah, okay, duh. I'm an idiot.
Rachel Dratch
I don't want to press my luck here.
Maya Rudolph
No, I want it. Give it to me.
Rachel Dratch
I can't think of anything. We'll have to do some Woo Woo workshops together. Maya.
Irene Bremis
Yeah.
Maya Rudolph
Oh, my God. To go on a retreat, I will get in a bus and go on a Woo Woo workshop.
Rachel Dratch
It has to be a bus. Oh, my gosh. Okay. Well, Maya, I guess. I guess Emily and Scott didn't write back.
Maya Rudolph
Their loss. Part two.
Rachel Dratch
Part two.
Irene Bremis
Part two, Baby.
Rachel Dratch
Part two. Maya, this was. You know, you weren't sure if you had stuff to talk about. We've had so much to talk about.
Maya Rudolph
So fun. You know what I wanted as a person who loves this show so much? I wanted that story. I wanted that story and I wanted everybody to be like, no.
Rachel Dratch
But you know what, though? What you're talking about is actually far more relatable about for people that have lost.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
And.
Maya Rudolph
You mean people who are blind to the signs. Maybe.
Rachel Dratch
Maybe there's some of us that are that too. Just like, wanting the signs that maybe they're already there. Like, you're Woo Woo curious. Woo Woo curious.
Maya Rudolph
I'm woo woo curious.

Irene Bremis
We have our pendulum.
Maya Rudolph
Oh, I'm ready for Pen. Okay, so I'm ready for Pengie, sweetie.
Rachel Dratch
Okay.
I love what you say, sweetie.
Irene Bremis
Okay.
Rachel Dratch
Beautiful. I love it so much.
Irene Bremis
It makes me happy.
Rachel Dratch
So you're gonna think on it and then you're gonna reveal it.
Maya Rudolph
But I've never heard it say no. So what if mine says no?
Rachel Dratch
It has said no. It has said no.
Irene Bremis
Yeah, it actually does shut somebody down with an Oscar. Who was it, Will Ferrell? Yes.
Rachel Dratch
Will Ferrell is not going to win an Oscar.
Irene Bremis
He's not winning an Oscar.
Rachel Dratch
Well, but Tina is, according to Penny, by the way.
Maya Rudolph
I feel like Will could also win an Oscar. I'm not sure that Penji was on their meds that day.
Rachel Dratch
I know Irene doesn't like me to say this, but it's not always right. But I have to whisper it.
Irene Bremis
And then Irene gets her off days, which is why she was snuffed out in the laundry.
Rachel Dratch
In the laundry?
Irene Bremis
In the goddamn laundry room, sweetie.
Rachel Dratch
I lost Irene. I lost. I actually was.
Maya Rudolph
Hold.
Rachel Dratch
I put Irene's pendulum in my pocket because we had an on location one, and I put it in my pocket, and then I put my pants in the laundry, and then I lost Irene's pendulum. And there's an episode where I confess that to her and she doesn't.
Maya Rudolph
No.
Rachel Dratch
Oh, all the remains. Hold on.
Irene Bremis
Oh, sweet.
Rachel Dratch
All that remains is the chain. It's a sad thing, you know?
Maya Rudolph
Is it your machine?
Rachel Dratch
Yeah, but it's like a. It's like a communal laundry. I went through all.
Maya Rudolph
Yeah, but all you have to do is take the panel off. Don't you ever watch what's her name? Like, no, I'm a Gruber.
Rachel Dratch
No.
Maya Rudolph
Don't you ever watch somebody. Barb. There's like, get organized with Barb. I need more than this lady on Instagram. And she basically shows you how to, like, all those socks that you're missing. You unscrew this thing and you take it out. Penji will be there, but Penji will be there.
Rachel Dratch
Eight dryers. There's like. This is like the bottom of my building.
Maya Rudolph
Penji will be there.
Rachel Dratch
Cut to me at the bottom of my building with screwdrivers and everything disassembled. And then the super walks in. He's like, what the hell are you doing?
Maya Rudolph
Why not give your super a little bonus for the holidays and say, I'm.
Rachel Dratch
Looking for this and, say, could you disassemble eight machines for my pendulum?
Irene Bremis
And, well, I'm looking for those missing socks. Sweetie, thank you for that.
Rachel Dratch
I told Irene I was going to buy a really nice one.
Maya Rudolph
Guess what? You're going to not only find Penji, you're going to find something else that you are missing. That's what I think.
Rachel Dratch
All right.
Maya Rudolph
Why am I. Why am I all of a sudden, like, predicting the future? Who am I?
Rachel Dratch
Who am I, Irene? All right. So here we go. So do you have your question?
Maya Rudolph
Yes.
Rachel Dratch
Okay. Here we go. Okay, I have my answer. Irene, do you.
Maya Rudolph
Hold on a second. I'm so sorry. Wait, you have one, too?
Rachel Dratch
Yeah, we both have, now that we're in a different space.
Irene Bremis
No, I have one. That's not like a. I got one. I got the answer.
Rachel Dratch
I got a yes.
Maya Rudolph
I got a yes.
Rachel Dratch
I have a yes.
Maya Rudolph
Okay. Can I ask a question? Why can't I see Penji? And why did you seem like you were not? Like, when I listened to the show, you're like, oh, my God, it is going crazy. It's a resounding yes. I didn't see a resounding yes.
Rachel Dratch
Okay. Mine didn't swing wildly, but it is going yes.
Maya Rudolph
Okay, what about yours, Irene?
Irene Bremis
It was. It was a resounding yes. I'm sorry. I didn't give it the effect I needed to.
Maya Rudolph
Was it resounding? Yes.
Rachel Dratch
Look at it.
Irene Bremis
It's doing it now.
Sweetie. What did you ask?
Rachel Dratch
Now mine's going. Now mine's going. Resounding. Now that it knows. Now that it knows you want it resounding, it's actually going.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Resounding.
Maya Rudolph
Is it?
Rachel Dratch
Yeah.
Irene Bremis
Yes.
Rachel Dratch
What was your question?
Maya Rudolph
I asked if I would ever be on Broadway.
Irene Bremis
Yes, you took a risk. Cause you're a Leo and you don't give a shit.
Rachel Dratch
But you know what? For that, I'm like, I could have told you that. Of course you'll be on Broadway. We need you on Broadway, sweetie.
Maya Rudolph
We need you on the board, sweetheart.
State Farm Announcer
We do.
Rachel Dratch
We need you on the board. And then you and I can go get drinks afterwards.
Maya Rudolph
Oh, honey, let me tell you something. Honey.
Rachel Dratch
Honey, let me tell you.
Maya Rudolph
Sweetie. Honey, what is it? Linda.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Linda.
Rachel Dratch
I knew you were doing that.
Maya Rudolph
Linda, listen.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Linda, listen.
Maya Rudolph
Linda, listen.
Rachel Dratch
Oh, my God.
Maya Rudolph
I think. I think we need a part. Two.
Rachel Dratch
Yes, I really.
Maya Rudolph
Do you mind?
Rachel Dratch
Do I mind?
Maya Rudolph
Do you have enough in your budge for old Rudolph?
Rachel Dratch
I'll pay you in dinners and.
Irene Bremis
Margaritas.
Rachel Dratch
Cocktails.
Maya Rudolph
Yeah, margaritas. I was gonna say margaritas.
Irene Bremis
Margaritas, baby.
Rachel Dratch
We'll Pay you in Mark's.
Irene Bremis
Yes. Yes. It's so funny.
Maya Rudolph
We should all go get ice cream.
Irene Bremis
We should. Oh, my God.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
And take a picture of our ice cream.
Irene Bremis
I'm serious. I find that so. I'm trying to. I'm gonna find that picture of your mom. I love that so much. There's no. I don't even know that was your mother. Maya and my mother showing up. And then Rachel, she was working through you. Because I'm a scaredy cat, too. I'm a scaredy cat.
Rachel Dratch
I can't believe that you held up that picture.
Irene Bremis
Maya, that's crazy.
Maya Rudolph
It's literally where I thought you were going when you were saying. I thought that's what you were going to say. But then it was the picture and I wasn't going to say anything. But then you showed the picture of your mom and I was like, that's weird because she wasn't eating it out of a bowl. She wasn't eating it with a spoon. It wasn't in a, like a to go cup. She was holding an ice cream cone. Who holds ice cream cones anymore?
Irene Bremis
No one. No one. And it was the last living picture. She died the next day.
Rachel Dratch
Was it vanilla? Was it vanilla?
Maya Rudolph
Yes, it was.
Rachel Dratch
Oh, mine wasn't. Mine wasn't vanilla.
Irene Bremis
No, it wasn't vanilla.
Rachel Dratch
I'm sorry, guys. It was mocha chocolate. You guys had the mom's connection.
Maya Rudolph
What were you eating?
Rachel Dratch
I was eating mocha chip. And it was pitifully small. That's why I took the picture.
Maya Rudolph
That's what she said.
Rachel Dratch
I took the picture to document how criminally small that I. But you know what else is weird? One more thing.
Irene Bremis
Irene.
Rachel Dratch
It's kind of weird. Like, Irene, I didn't know you were gonna bring, like. It's a very specific story. Like, for you to bring that up is kind of weird anyway. Right? I don't know. It just. To me, it all was meant to be. It's all meant to be.
Maya Rudolph
I knew. I thought you knew about the ice cream. Cause it's such an iconic.
Rachel Dratch
Like I do now, in hindsight. Cause of course I remember you're recreating those photos, which was so cool. When Maya hosted snl, she recreated a.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Bunch of her mom's pictures.
Irene Bremis
Beautiful.
Rachel Dratch
It's really special.
Maya Rudolph
It was all because of Mary Elle. It was Mary Ellen's idea, which I love.
Rachel Dratch
Genius.
Maya Rudolph
And I don't feel like I could do that with anybody else. I'm very sensitive about my mommy. And like, you know, like, I don't. I don't like, mess around. Like, if I'm not comfortable, I don't do that. And with her. Cause it just felt loving and it's like family.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
She's magical.
Rachel Dratch
She's magical.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Yeah.
Maya Rudolph
Wow.
Rachel Dratch
All right.
Podcast Sponsor/Ad Voice
Well, Meyer.
Rachel Dratch
Oh, do you have any, besides your Broadway. Upcoming Broadway projects that Penji just predicted, is there anything that you want to, like, say, I have this coming up or whatever? I mean, do icons need to do that? I don't know.
Maya Rudolph
But.
Honey, icons always need to plug.
Rachel Dratch
So what's coming up? What's coming up?
Maya Rudolph
Well, the third season of my show Lewd is now streaming on Apple.
Rachel Dratch
Now streaming. Excellent. Yeah.
Maya Rudolph
Apple tv.
Rachel Dratch
Check that out.
Maya Rudolph
I think we have three more episodes left. Or something like that. It's a very fun romp. There's some really funny guests this season. We had some semi nude Henry Winkler this year. Oh, need I say more?
Rachel Dratch
No.
Maya Rudolph
Sold.
Rachel Dratch
Wait. Sold. What about Princess? Is that playing anywhere? Your band?
Maya Rudolph
We don't have any gigs coming up. Princess is such a funny project because we were just doing it for the love of Prince. And when he was alive, we never really had any reason to do it. We just did it. Cause we loved those songs. And they're the songs from our, you know, our youth. It was like early generation songs. Love it, but no reason to really, unless it comes up. And then after he died, it sort of became this thing of like, when do we do it? Or is there a time? And we sort of. I think the spirit has to move us in order to do it. But they just had Prince night on Dancing with the Stars last night.
Rachel Dratch
Oh, yeah.
Maya Rudolph
Wow.
Rachel Dratch
Wait, I do have a question. Cause I just saw you had these beautiful photos of you in London. What was that on your Instagram?
Maya Rudolph
Oh, I was. I was doing press for Loot. I did say.
Rachel Dratch
Okay, okay. Okay. Gotcha. Oh, my God. Those pictures were beautiful.
Irene Bremis
Beautiful.
Rachel Dratch
So pretty. Yeah. Okay. Well, Maya, thank you so much for joining us. This was a special episode. So lovely to see you.
Maya Rudolph
It was so nice. We got nowhere, but we got to talk.
Rachel Dratch
We got a lot of places.
Irene Bremis
We got a lot, sweetie.
Rachel Dratch
And we're gonna repay you in marks and ice cream.
Irene Bremis
That was amazing.
Maya Rudolph
Wait, two. Two of my favorite things.
Rachel Dratch
Okay.
Maya Rudolph
Okay.
Irene Bremis
Bye, sweetie.
Maya Rudolph
