Dennis
Proceeded 3, 2, 1, mission.
Mindy Thomas
The bubbles are of nature, of magnificent proportion.
Grandma GeForce
I don't know what you've been told we're in a golden age so many.
Guy Raz
Discoveries that are jumping off the page.
Grandma GeForce
While in the world wow. In the world wow.
Dennis
And bring that down to a simmer, stirring it capsule. Next we're going to add the fresh lemon.
Thomas Fingerling
Now, where did I put my lemon verbena? Let's see here, huh?
Grandma GeForce
Coming, Guy Razzie.
Thomas Fingerling
Mindy, you're early and empty handed. Weren't you supposed to be bringing over your world famous five alarm chili?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, but I've got something even better than Grandma GeForce's Five Alarm Chili.
Thomas Fingerling
Wait, Grandma G Force's Five Alarm Chili?
Mindy Thomas
Guy Raz, I have got us a reservation at the hottest new restaurant in town. It's called the Sea Robin.
Thomas Fingerling
The Sea Robin?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, it's a concept restaurant, so it's kind of like a normal restaurant, except instead of focusing on one kind of food, they base the whole thing off of one idea. So get this. This restaurant is based on a bottom feeding tropical fish found all along the coast of America called the Sea Robin. You got it, Guy Raz.
Thomas Fingerling
Uh, but Mindy, weren't we supposed to be having a nice homey potluck dinner tonight? I was halfway through making my Thai green curry.
Mindy Thomas
Oh, great, so you're not done. I caught you just in time. Here, look, check it out. Dennis went there last week and reviewed it on his blick block channel.
Thomas Fingerling
Dennis has a restaurant review channel?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, let me pull it up. It's called Dennis Eats His Feelings. It's mainly just him trying different pieces of gum around the city, but every now and then he actually goes to a real restaurant. And let's see. Oh, look, here it is.
Dennis
Well, here I am at the Sea Robin, and my review is.
Thomas Fingerling
I don't like it.
Dennis
The music is too loud and the lighting is too dim. I want my lighting to feel like I'm in a hospital waiting room.
Grandma GeForce
How am I supposed to see what I'm doing in this candlelit labyrinth?
Thomas Fingerling
Two shards. Well, that's not a ringing endorsement, Mindy. It sounds like Dennis hated the place.
Mindy Thomas
Which means it must be great. Come on, it's a full, full on culinary experience. You love full on culinary experiences, Guy Raz.
Thomas Fingerling
Yeah, that is true. Okay, fine, Mindy, let's go.
Mindy Thomas
Yes.
Thomas Fingerling
When did you make the reservation for?
Mindy Thomas
Oh, about 10 minutes from now.
Thomas Fingerling
What?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah. Why do you think I came over here so fast?
Thomas Fingerling
Mindy, how are we gonna get there in 10 minutes?
Mindy Thomas
Guy Raz? I've got the ice cream truck waiting outside. If we leave right now, we'll only be five minutes late. Come on, less whining, more dining. Come on. Come.
Thomas Fingerling
Okay, okay. Zoodle, turn off the lights.
Mindy Thomas
Booking return flights.
Thomas Fingerling
No, Zoodle, turn off.
Mindy Thomas
I got it, Guy Raz. All right, let's go. After you.
Thomas Fingerling
Thanks, Mindy.
Mindy Thomas
Let's get this show on the road, Guy Raz.
Thomas Fingerling
So, Mindy, you were saying this restaurant is a concept restaurant based on a sort of tropical fish?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, the tropical fish known as the Sea Robin.
Thomas Fingerling
Well, how exactly do you base a whole restaurant on a fish? Are we gonna be eating sea robin?
Mindy Thomas
I don't think so. I mean, Dennis would have. Dolphin elitely mentioned it in his review. He won't eat anything from the sea. Here, let me just see what they say on their website. Mindy.
Thomas Fingerling
Mindy, watch out.
Mindy Thomas
Oh, here, you take the wheel.
Grandma GeForce
Mindy.
Mindy Thomas
Okay, let's see here. Pulling it up. Got it. It says here on the website that. Oh, get a load of this fish, Guy Raz. Here, look.
Grandma GeForce
Mindy, get that phone out of my face.
Thomas Fingerling
I'm trying to drive here.
Mindy Thomas
Oh, sorry, sorry, I forgot. But man, this is one strange looking fish.
Thomas Fingerling
You mean the sea robin?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, it's a fish, but it's also got a pair of wings on its side and legs.
Thomas Fingerling
Legs? The fish has legs?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, I mean, they look like tiny little crab legs sticking out of its belly.
Thomas Fingerling
Interesting. And this is the fish that this whole restaurant wanted to base itself off?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, it says here on the website, just as the sea robin defies nature's categories with the body of a fish, the wings of a bird, and the legs of a crab, so does the dining experience at the Sea Robin restaurant. This unique culinary journey is unlike anything you've ever experienced.
Reggie
Phew.
Mindy Thomas
I'm so excited.
Thomas Fingerling
I wonder what it is that makes the dining experience so unique.
Mindy Thomas
I know. Like, how many ways are there to eat a fancy plate of food?
Thomas Fingerling
I guess we're about to find out. Mindy, look, I think we're almost here.
Mindy Thomas
Oh, yeah. Here, let me take the wheel again.
Grandma GeForce
And great.
Mindy Thomas
Nailed it.
Thomas Fingerling
Uh huh.
Mindy Thomas
Come on, Guy Raz, we're gonna be late for our reservation.
Thomas Fingerling
Okay, lead the way, Mindy.
Dennis
Oh, hey there, lady. Would you like to valet your food truck?
Mindy Thomas
It's an ice cream truck. Except we don't have ice cream. It melted years ago. Oh, and yes, please. Here, catch.
Thomas Fingerling
What?
Mindy Thomas
And be careful of the steering wheel. Sometimes it comes off.
Dennis
What?
Mindy Thomas
Come on, Guy Raz. Right through here. All right, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk, walk. Opening the door.
Thomas Fingerling
Whoa. Get a load of this place, Mindy.
Mindy Thomas
I know. I can barely see a thing. It's so moody.
Thomas Fingerling
Yeah, I think it's entirely lit by candlelight.
Grandma GeForce
Hello. Welcome to the Sea Robin. And yes, those candles are made out of 100% sustainably sourced elephant earwax.
Thomas Fingerling
Oh, cool. Gross.
Grandma GeForce
Do you have a reservation with us today?
Mindy Thomas
Yes, we do. It should be under Sally Toots.
Grandma GeForce
Okay. Sally Toots.
Thomas Fingerling
What?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah. Did you know you can give any name you want when you're making a reservation, Guy Raz? It's really changed the game for me.
Thomas Fingerling
Uh huh.
Grandma GeForce
Oh, yes, Miss Toots, Here we are. We have a table ready for you.
Dennis
Yay.
Grandma GeForce
But first, I'm gonna need you both to take off your shoes.
Mindy Thomas
Okay, Gyraz, it's just like the rules at your micro house. No shoes.
Grandma GeForce
And also your socks.
Thomas Fingerling
Ooh, do you want me to take off my socks?
Grandma GeForce
Yes. Here at the Sea Robin, we offer a barefoot dining experience. It's all part of our head chef's imaginative, immersive vision for the restaurant.
Mindy Thomas
You heard it, Guy Raz. Come on, let me get mine off. There we go. That feels good. Gotta wiggle out the old toes.
Thomas Fingerling
Um, Mindy, is this a portrait of my painted on your big toe?
Mindy Thomas
Oh, yeah, I got the whole gang painted on during a pedicure. Look, there's Grandma, G Force, Thomas, Fingerling, Dennis. Even Reggie's hanging out there on my little pinky toe. Isn't it cute?
Thomas Fingerling
Uh, yeah.
Grandma GeForce
So do you want me to take your shoes?
Mindy Thomas
Come on, Guy Raz. Anything for a good meal.
Thomas Fingerling
Okay, fine. There you go.
Mindy Thomas
Ooh, look at that. Somebody clipped their toenails this morning.
Thomas Fingerling
Can we just sit down?
Grandma GeForce
Okay, Right this way.
Mindy Thomas
Wow, this place is so fancy, Guy Raz. I feel like I should have worn my formal overalls.
Thomas Fingerling
Yeah, but, Mindy, are you noticing that it's a little weird there's no food on the table or even cutlery?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, no forks, knives, spoons. Huh. Maybe it's like a eat with your hands kind of place and the food isn't visible.
Thomas Fingerling
Yeah, maybe.
Grandma GeForce
Here we are. Have a seat there. And here are some menus. And your waiter will be here shortly to take your order.
Mindy Thomas
Thank you very much.
Grandma GeForce
Enjoy.
Thomas Fingerling
All right, let's check out this menu and see what we've got here, huh?
Mindy Thomas
Looks like all of these dishes are inspired by the Sea Robin, Guy Raz. Yeah.
Thomas Fingerling
Look at this one. TBX3A.
Mindy Thomas
Oh, catchy name.
Thomas Fingerling
Looks like it's some kind of chicken leg dish.
Dennis
Hello, I am your waiter. Do you have any questions about the menu?
Mindy Thomas
Oh, hi. Yes, actually, we do. What kind of food is TBX3A right here on the menu?
Dennis
Ah, yes, that is one of my favorites. TBX3A is the gene inside of the C. Robin that allows it to develop.
Thomas Fingerling
Ah. And a gene, of course, is a tiny little instruction in your DNA that tells your body how to grow, like, what hair color you can have or what color your eyes are or how.
Dennis
Many eyes to have.
Mindy Thomas
Wait, what?
Dennis
Well, scientists have experimented with the TBX3A gene, and by tweaking it in various ways, they were able to make sea robins that had as many as 10 legs, or some that had no legs at all.
Mindy Thomas
Whoa, creepy.
Thomas Fingerling
Yeah, that's kind of made me lose my appetite.
Dennis
Well, perhaps one of our specials will bring it back. Tonight, the chef has put together a dish inspired by the sea robin's diet.
Mindy Thomas
Ooh, you mean we'd be eating what the sea robin eats?
Dennis
That is correct.
Mindy Thomas
That sounds great. Doesn't that sound great, Guy Raz?
Thomas Fingerling
That depends on what exactly AC Robin eats.
Mindy Thomas
Please say tacos. Please say tacos. Please say tacos. Please say tacos.
Dennis
Well, in the wild, the sea robin scrounges around on the ocean floor, sifting through the sand to find small fish and crustaceans.
Mindy Thomas
Ooh, a bowl of little fish and sand. Sounds delicious.
Dennis
So tonight, our special is an array of clams and scallops under a bed of breadcrumbs to represent the sands of the ocean floor.
Thomas Fingerling
Well, that sounds a lot more palatable.
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, we'll take two of those, please.
Dennis
Very good choice. I'll be right back with those specials for you.
Thomas Fingerling
Ooh, I still haven't seen any food come out, Mindy, or even any cutlery. I mean, what kind of place is this?
Mindy Thomas
It's a fancy place, Guy Raz. This is just how they do things here.
Thomas Fingerling
And the no shoes and socks thing, what's up with that?
Mindy Thomas
I don't know, but I like it. It means I get to have dinner with all my friends. In fact, let me put them up on the table here. Ah, hey there, buddies. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle.
Thomas Fingerling
Mindy, get your feet off the table.
Mindy Thomas
Fine.
Thomas Fingerling
I mean, I don't know, it just seems a little weird to me. Something is going on here, Guy Raz.
Mindy Thomas
Just take a breath and relax. Try to enjoy the elephant earwax candles. They're sustainable.
Thomas Fingerling
All right, well, I'll try.
Dennis
All right, here we are. To see Robin ocean floor specials.
Mindy Thomas
Wow, that was fast.
Dennis
And there we go. Put these down on the floor here for you.
Thomas Fingerling
What?
Mindy Thomas
Om. Gosh, Guy Raz, look at the other tables.
Thomas Fingerling
What about them? Look on the floor. What in the.
Mindy Thomas
All their dishes are on the floor, and they're.
Thomas Fingerling
Smushing the food with their feet.
Dennis
That is correct. Here at the Sea Robin, we don't just serve food inspired by the sea Robin's diet, but we also encourage you to engage with your food in the same way a sea robin might with their feet. Indeed.
Mindy Thomas
The sea robin eats with its feet.
Dennis
Well, they taste with their feet.
Mindy Thomas
Well, don't mind if I do. Guy Raz, you gotta try this. These clams are to die for.
Thomas Fingerling
Mindy, you're not really shoving your feet in that food, are you?
Mindy Thomas
Well, yeah, of course I am. Guy Raz, when in Sea Robin, do as the Sea Robin does. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum.
Thomas Fingerling
I don't think that's how that saying goes.
Mindy Thomas
So how exactly is this supposed to work? Because I'm not tasting much here.
Dennis
Well, in the wild, sea robins have very similar receptors in their feet that we have in our mouths.
Thomas Fingerling
Wow.
Dennis
They use these receptors to taste around in the sand in an attempt to find the food that is lying underneath.
Thomas Fingerling
Huh. Sea robins have taste buds on their feet?
Dennis
That's right. Please enjoy.
Mindy Thomas
Oh, Guy Raz, you've got to try this. It's so squishy.
Thomas Fingerling
That's what I'm afraid of.
Mindy Thomas
Mmm. This is so good. I'm getting hints of lime.
Thomas Fingerling
No, you're not, Mindy, because unlike the Sea Robin, you don't have taste buds on your feet.
Mindy Thomas
Oh. Oh, yeah.
Thomas Fingerling
Okay. Here goes nothing. Ugh. Mindy, this is horrible. Oh. Oh, I hate this. Hello there.
Dennis
Me again. How is everything?
Thomas Fingerling
Oh, it's so good.
Mindy Thomas
Oh, yeah, this thing I've eaten with my feet all week.
Dennis
Wonderful, wonderful. Enjoy.
Mindy Thomas
I don't know about you, Guy Raz, but this clams and breadcrumbs thing isn't really filling me up.
Thomas Fingerling
Well, that's because we're not eating anything, Mindy.
Mindy Thomas
Okay, okay, let me take a look at the menu again. Let's see here. Oh, look, they have a catfish special here.
Thomas Fingerling
Well, do you have to eat that with your feet, too?
Mindy Thomas
Uh, no.
Thomas Fingerling
Okay, great.
Mindy Thomas
It says you have to eat that with your hair.
Thomas Fingerling
Wait, what?
Mindy Thomas
Well, according to the menu here, the catfish also has those same sorts of taste receptors that the Sea Robin has, only the catfish has them in its whiskers.
Thomas Fingerling
And so catfish use their whiskers to taste their food as well?
Mindy Thomas
Yeah, I guess. Looks like it?
Thomas Fingerling
Yeah, I think I'll pass.
Dennis
And how are we doing over here? Would you two like to have a look at the dessert menu? We have a banana pudding that is particularly squelchy.
Mindy Thomas
Oooh.
Thomas Fingerling
No thank you. I think we're okay.
Dennis
Aw, filled up on your foot food, huh? Well, not to worry. I'll come back around and check on you.
Reggie
Ugh.
Mindy Thomas
I don't know about you, Guy Raz, but I am still feeling pretty hungry.
Thomas Fingerling
Yeah, me too. But don't worry, I still think I can whip up that Thai green curry that I was making at home.
Mindy Thomas
Oh yeah, Maybe I'll join you.
Thomas Fingerling
Well, you are always welcome, Mindy.
Mindy Thomas
But first I need to clean all these bread crumbs out of my toenails. Get out of there.
Thomas Fingerling
Check please.

Eating with Feet: The climax of the skit revolves around the concept of eating with one's feet, mimicking the Sea Robin's method of tasting food. This leads to playful frustration and humorous attempts by the hosts to adapt to the unusual dining style.
Mindy Thomas [15:20]: "Guy Raz, you've got to try this. These clams are to die for."
Conclusion: The experience proves unsatisfying for Thomas Fingerling, who longs for their regular dining habits, highlighting the challenges of stepping out of one's comfort zone.
