Because you didn't just say, how can I provide these investments? You'd be, how do I holistically provide everything? How do I bring in the legal, the accounting, all this, and do it at a price point no one else is doing it.

Jameela Jamil
Hello and welcome to Wrong Turns with Jameela Jamil. This is a podcast about disaster, our shared love and acceptance, really, of disaster, where I bring in my favorite funny people. And joining me today I have an actor and comedian from FAM, disjointed survival of the thickest and new movie Coyote vs. Acme. He's just headlined a show at Netflix as a joke festival. It's Tone fucking Belle.
Tone Bell
Great intro. Thank you. Give it up for myself.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah. How you doing?
Tone Bell
I'm good, I'm good. I'm tired.
Jameela Jamil
Yes, I'm tired.
Tone Bell
I'm out here drinking like I'm 24 still and I have to go home.
Jameela Jamil
That's fair.
Tone Bell
I have to go home. But. But I got two more days of just ruining myself and. But I'm doing it for the people.
Jameela Jamil
Yes, you are. You're an activist.
Tone Bell
Yes.
Jameela Jamil
Thank you for that. And we also welcome people keep asking
Chloe Radcliffe
People keep being like, we have to get Tone drunk. Why is Tone still sober? We need him to be.
Tone Bell
That's how it feels. It feels like they started to go, fund me. They're like, let's get him fucked up.
Jameela Jamil
Well, the other voice you are hearing belongs to an actress, comedian, and writer from the Tonight show and Command Z. She performed her acclaimed solo show Cheat at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She appeared in the movie Is this Thing On? And also performed at this year's Netflix as a joke festival. It's Chloe Radcliffe.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, clap for me. That's right. I deserve it. It's 11:00am I need an applause break. I'm losing my voice.
Jameela Jamil
I'm so sorry. I feel cr. Getting up at 9:30am for a podcast on a weekend is absolutely horrific. I really appreciate you this feeling.
Tone Bell
It always feels a good idea, and then you have to do it.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because your body has switched off on Friday night, and it just goes, goodbye. I'm tapping out. And then I'm like, tap back in.
Chloe Radcliffe
Hello? Yeah, exactly.
Dani Pellegrino
I'm here.
Jameela Jamil
So when I walked in, I overheard you saying you'd been thrown out of a party you weren't even invited to.
Tone Bell
So the. Okay, listen up. Netflix, the official, like, after party across from the store.
Chloe Radcliffe
It's like.
Tone Bell
And they. You know, this is.
Jameela Jamil
Cause we're currently in the middle of Netflix as a joke, first of all. Yeah, correct.
Tone Bell
So I go over there, and I went over there two nights ago. Great, Good time. Saw some people. I mean, I saw you last night and the night before, and. But I'm outside, I'm trying to get a buddy, and people just doing their job. I understand that, but I'm like, hey, is there any way y' all let them in last night? Anyway, can my buddy Griffin come in? And then we try for about 10 minutes, and they're like, just wait over here. We'll see if we can make it happen. Go. No problem.
Jameela Jamil
And is that difficult when you're, like, watching other people that you know go in and you're having to stand on the side?
Tone Bell
I'm watching people go in. I go, there's no way they're funny.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tone Bell
Who are these people going in?
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, I got banned from a Netflix party, and I was like, I had, like, the number one film on Netflix at the time, and the people on the door just wouldn't let me in. It was me.
Chloe Radcliffe
And there's too much on Netflix. They hadn't watched it.
Livy Dunn
It was crazy. It was me.
Jameela Jamil
And, like, one of the leads From Ted Lasso. And they just made. Phil. They made us just stand on the side, and then they just Letting all these Daily Mail journalists in and, like. And both of us had big.
Tone Bell
Who are these people? Get out of. But then, like, the two security guys, one I talked to the night before, he's actually very nice, but he's like, hey, man, I gotta escort you off the premises. And I'm like, I'm not. I'm outside. What do you mean I'm outside already? I haven't been in. I was on the sidewalk already. I go, where do you want me to be?
Chloe Radcliffe
Hey, man, you can't come back here. You can't.
Tone Bell
I'm not.
Chloe Radcliffe
I didn't come in. I didn't. I'm not back. There's no back.
Tone Bell
I'm already out.
Chloe Radcliffe
There's a. I'm just here.
Tone Bell
You want me to be in the street?
Chloe Radcliffe
You want me to be there?
Tone Bell
Okay, I'll go to the street. But I go, bro, what are we doing? And I'm just. And my buddy, who's like. He's like, don't worry about it.
Chloe Radcliffe
And now. Had you been making a scene?
Tone Bell
No.
Jameela Jamil
Are you sure?
Tone Bell
I was this calm? Yeah. I go, I can understand.
Jameela Jamil
No, we don't mean now. I mean, like, what had happened in the nights before. Cause you said you've been partying every night.
Tone Bell
Earlier, I was like, I'm a very drunk.
Jameela Jamil
You seem like the most docile, fun, gentlemanly drunk. If you were to be one.
Tone Bell
Now, the thing is, I do. I am an angry person.
Jameela Jamil
Okay?
Tone Bell
But I had not gotten there. I was like. I go, what do you mean you're kicking me? And I go, we outside. I haven't been in.
Chloe Radcliffe
Kicking you further out.
Tone Bell
I said stuff like, please and thank you. I don't know what else I can do.
Jameela Jamil
So did he end up escorting you off the premises?
Tone Bell
No, I just crossed the street, went back to the store. I mean, it was. It was bizarre. They, like. They talking on headphones, and they're like. They said. I go, who's they?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah.
Tone Bell
I go, just. I go, I. I won't come in.
Jameela Jamil
It's Ted Sarandos with his little earpiece. I mean, what's going on? Being like, escort him out. Humiliate him as much as possible.
Tone Bell
Sorry, sir.
Livy Dunn
Yeah.
Tone Bell
And then Derosa got mad for me, which is nice. Joe Derosa over with Derosa for a little bit, and he's like, damn it. What the fuck is going on with these people? I go, joe, just. Okay, you be mad.
Chloe Radcliffe
That is nice. But there's no way Joe was getting let into that party.
Tone Bell
They let him in.
Chloe Radcliffe
No.
Tone Bell
Like I said, I could have gone in, but I didn't want to go. I wanted to leave my buddy outside. But if I had five people, I get it. I was like, one guy who's like 50. He's not gonna cause any trouble.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah. They have been so tight about these parties. And it's so funny to be tight about parties at a stand up comedy festival where you're like, I'm sorry. The people populating this festival are notoriously the biggest degenerates in our society. Like, these are. These are people who do not have their lives together. And you're being picky about which piece of shit you can or cannot let in.
Tone Bell
I did tell the dude, I go, I go, this is the pettiest I got. I did go, hey, man, they're not paying either one of us enough to feel like this.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tone Bell
But he had in a pinstripe suitcase.
Chloe Radcliffe
I know exactly which guy you are talking about.
Tone Bell
I just. His suit.
Chloe Radcliffe
I complimented his suit. It was very soft.
Jameela Jamil
Did he let you in then?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah.
Jameela Jamil
Okay.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, I was not awkward.
Tone Bell
Oh. How was it?
Chloe Radcliffe
It was bad.
Tone Bell
It wasn't good. They had dry Mac and cheese the night before.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, well, I'm sorry, I.
Chloe Radcliffe
At this party, okay, they had little sliders and then they had popcorn buckets for popcorn.
Jameela Jamil
Nice stale popcorn.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah. Who knows? I didn't have the popcorn. What I did. Here's my hack. I took a popcorn bucket, stuffed eight sliders in there, brought it home, ate it for breakfast.
Jameela Jamil
Let's fucking go.
Tone Bell
That's pretty.
Jameela Jamil
My kind of girl. Yeah, I sent about you.
Tone Bell
That's pretty good.
Jameela Jamil
Is humiliation a big part of your lives?
Chloe Radcliffe
The segue, I feel like. I feel like based on the story I just told, it's very hard for me to be humiliating as I'm walking around.
Tone Bell
But they weren't in your pockets. They weren't in your pockets. That's crazy.
Chloe Radcliffe
They weren't in pockets.
Tone Bell
But I like the popcorn bucket.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, it's a neat little potato.
Jameela Jamil
I love takeout. I've gone for dinner once with a bunch of stuff. Oh, that's not what that was. No, I know.
Chloe Radcliffe
I love when a server boxes up my food and puts it in a nice. Yes, yes.
Jameela Jamil
But to be fair, I didn't just ask for my own food to go. I asked for everyone else at the table's food to go as well. Like their half eaten burgers and steaks. Because I was like, this is going to go to waste. I didn't know any of these people. It's like Judd Apatow and Kate Upton and Leslie, man, like, people that I am not on the level with.
Chloe Radcliffe
That's like 100 plate.
Jameela Jamil
Exactly.
Tone Bell
I think that's more than that.
Jameela Jamil
We were at boa, so I was
Chloe Radcliffe
like, I don't even know. I've never heard of that.
Jameela Jamil
That means steak place. And I was like, let's go. Like, this is my food for the week. And then they were like, but, jam, we're going dancing after this. I'm like, that's all right. So I bring my tote of meat with me to the club. And they were like, are you gonna check it? And I was like, no, I'm not gonna check it. What if someone takes this? This is wagyu, you know? So I keep it on me. And they're like, are you gonna come onto the dance floor? It was my birthday, by the way. And I was like, yeah, I'll come into the dance floor. And they were like, are you gonna
Chloe Radcliffe
bring all the meat?
Jameela Jamil
All the meat?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, the meat bag.
Jameela Jamil
And I was like, yes, I am. I absolutely am.
Tone Bell
I'm just gonna leave it over there.
Jameela Jamil
I brought a tote of, like, burgers, truffle fries. I stank so many confusing smells at the same time. And I could see as. I was like, as they're sidestepping, you know, like, holding my tote of. Of boa. And people I can see on the. The dance row going, like. Like, sniffing in. Be like, is that. Who's like, somebody's wagging sweaty garlic right now? Yeah. And is that rosemary? I kept it up for the rest of night until everyone else left.
Tone Bell
I love the. I love the dedication.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah. What are they gonna do? So I feel you. I feel you, friend. That's good. Yeah. I think whenever we start this podcast, it's always best to start with, like, micro humiliations to give people a bit of a taste of your vibe tone. Can you offer us one?
Tone Bell
Okay. Yes. So my wife and I are trying to have a kid. We've been married almost two years now. And so we've only been trying. Trying for, like, eight, 10 months. And she did. You know, she did the, like, you know, women are up. Like, they, you know, y' all know shit. You know what I mean? She's like, hey, why don't. Before we try for two years and it doesn't happen, why don't we go and just, like, make sure the fertility stuff is up? And honestly, I just as, like.
Chloe Radcliffe
I don't think that means women know shit. I think that she's healthy. I think that means we gotta test you.
Tone Bell
I don't know.
Chloe Radcliffe
She knows something about you.
Tone Bell
Well, she was right. She was right. And, I mean, I know. I know I sound dumb when I say this, but I guess when I hear. And I just. Maybe just. I think dudes maybe think like this, but I think when you hear, like, the term fertility, I think you just kind of always think lean. Lean.
Jameela Jamil
It's not just dudes. Everyone for all of time, up until maybe the last eight months has thought that it's all, like, on the woman.
Tone Bell
The woman goes 80% of the time.
Jameela Jamil
Pilates and becomes vegan. Whatever. Like, has to do all the shit. And then the man is just, like, off living his life. And we just thought, yeah, it's an egg problem.
Tone Bell
I'm just out here watching basketball and pulling weeds in the yard. Right? And then she's like, we should go to. So she gets tested, I get tested. And it's. It was me. And it's all like, oh. I'm like, oh. All your fibers, whatever they call them. What do they call them?
Jameela Jamil
What do they call them? Ovaries.
Tone Bell
No, no.
Chloe Radcliffe
Fallopian tubes.
Jameela Jamil
Testicles.
Tone Bell
We're getting there.
Jameela Jamil
Penis.
Livy Dunn
No.
Tone Bell
The bum hole. The things, the. No, it's not taint.
Jameela Jamil
Okay, Sorry.
Tone Bell
It's the
Chloe Radcliffe
follicles.
Tone Bell
Follicles. There we go. Thank you. Sorry. I know it's gonna play charades today, but.
Jameela Jamil
But also, just after we said women really know, I was like, nipple.
Chloe Radcliffe
Where does the baby come out of?
Tone Bell
Yeah, her follicles were great. Her whole system is working good.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Tone Bell
Turns out my balls ran hot.
Chloe Radcliffe
Oh.
Tone Bell
And that's not what the doctor said. But, like, that's. That's. That's what I surmised.
Jameela Jamil
Right. How did you surmise that your balls run hot?
Tone Bell
I didn't know they could do it. I should know. I've been to this doctor so many times when you.
Chloe Radcliffe
I think the humiliating thing is you trying to explain this.
Jameela Jamil
I love it. You know, it was really healing.
Tone Bell
When a woman's pregnant and they give you the ultrasound. Yes. They can do that on both.
Jameela Jamil
Back in the game. I'm Indian, man. Like, this is my shit. Sorry.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah.
Tone Bell
I was there. I should know more about that. My body. But they do ultrasound of the sack, right?
Chloe Radcliffe
Do they go, it's very chilly.
Tone Bell
It was great. Yeah, it was great.
Chloe Radcliffe
Nice little massage.
Tone Bell
The gel. Yeah. I spread them open, which is weird. And. And the lady's like, come on, man, open up. I was like, that's crazy for you to say that.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah.
Tone Bell
And then they, they go, you got too much blood pumping. Like, you're. You're running hot. Your boys are too hot because sperm has to be like 96, 97, going into the warm pocket.
Jameela Jamil
And how hot is your sperm?
Tone Bell
I was pushing over one.
Jameela Jamil
Oh, wow.
Tone Bell
So they were like not swimming because they too hot.
Jameela Jamil
They're kind of boiling in there. Like it's boiling and bubbling.
Chloe Radcliffe
You know how cooking crab societies just move slower?
Tone Bell
It's a low country broil.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Put some corn in there.
Tone Bell
Crawfish. Yeah, crawfish balls.
Chloe Radcliffe
You know how societies move slower, closer to the equator? Like, it's just like, pace of life gets slower the hotter it gets.
Tone Bell
Sure. That's what that. That's.
Chloe Radcliffe
That's your sperm is. I don't have anything.
Tone Bell
That's actually, that's actually probably what the doctor said more than like, yo, your boys are hot. Yeah, he probably said more of something like that.
Chloe Radcliffe
You know how in the north part of South America, everybody's kind of chill? That's what your sperm.
Tone Bell
He goes, we got to do something about this.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, they have heat stroke. So why did your balls get so hot?
Tone Bell
I. They didn't tell me why, but he goes, we can cool them down.
Jameela Jamil
I don't know why I'm doing this like I'm Barbara Walters. I'm like, come on, Jim, ask me about my boss. Walk us through it. So some people just are randomly walking around with sort of normal temperature body.
Tone Bell
Well, you can't feel it. It's not like they're not burning the seat, you know, they're not, they're not.
Chloe Radcliffe
We gotta be smoking.
Tone Bell
They're not.
Chloe Radcliffe
There's like a little cinch mark, the
Jameela Jamil
steam coming through his jeans at all times.
Chloe Radcliffe
Why is there always a hole in his jeans?
Dani Pellegrino
No.
Tone Bell
I'll stand in chairs everywhere I go.
Jameela Jamil
Okay, so what can be done?
Tone Bell
So it's called embolization is like the procedure. Right. But basically they plug up, they take like these little tiny microscopic coils and they plug up a couple veins and it sends less blood through. So your balls get cooler, right? So that takes like, they do that, like, but it's like three months window for a new batch of juice. Yeah, I'm trying to keep this kind of clean.
Jameela Jamil
Why? I said, like, I came in with like anus tin, like, bum hole. You're fine. I mean, say all the things.
Tone Bell
That's how you talk.
Chloe Radcliffe
It does sound nice in your accent. I Will say, tone being like, anyway, my cum's slow. It hits different, you know, Anyway, my jizz is all Slurpee and it can't quite get there. You're like, yes, bum ho. It even sounds better coming from you.
Livy Dunn
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
You want me to do it?
Jameela Jamil
Obama's translator. Yeah.
Tone Bell
So I had to surgery. Had a surgery last September. And so it's like the ten minute thing. Like, it doesn't take long and. But you know, they're working down here, but they can go through your leg or your abdomen or your neck.
Jameela Jamil
Okay?
Tone Bell
And so I get to the doctor or whatever, you know, they're like 7am and then. But they tell me they're going through my neck.
Chloe Radcliffe
They're gonna pull your balls out your neck.
Tone Bell
Well, okay.
Jameela Jamil
I'm gonna faint.
Chloe Radcliffe
I like it.
Tone Bell
We just on an interviewing station, just watching my surgery.
Jameela Jamil
Welcome to the Truman Show.
Tone Bell
But they go through your neck, down carotid, and then they plug it up through there, which is weird as fuck.
Jameela Jamil
Okay?
Tone Bell
But as I'm like getting prepped, whatever, I got my gown on or whatever, and the. And I know they're going through my neck, but the nurses come, they start tapping me for my IV and everything. And they just lift my gown up and they just start shaving, like, manscaping me. And I go, what are we doing? And they go, we have to. I go, y' all going through my neck, right?
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Tone Bell
And they go, yeah. I go, but what? So you don't even have to see this.
Chloe Radcliffe
They were like, yeah, but we want to.
Jameela Jamil
And this was a request from.
Tone Bell
I'm like, I could have taken care of this. And they go, but you didn't. I go, no one told me either. This is something y' all should have sent in the email.
Jameela Jamil
That's crazy to even hear the. If you're not looking, maybe right words here, Z. And then you just feel something on your cock. You're like, what is happening?
Tone Bell
You're tapping my right arm for my iv. And she comes over from this side, flips it up. She's stupid and just starts shaving. And I go, I thought we were going through my neck. And so she was like, well, just in case. I go, no, no, there's no in case.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, in case we gotta.
Tone Bell
We're going through the neck. So they get like halfway and I go, shut it down. I need the doctor.
Jameela Jamil
You need half shaven.
Tone Bell
Here we go. This is why it gets ridiculous, okay? I go, I need to see the doctor. Doctor comes in, we talk. He go, stop doing that. You don't have to. I'm going through his neck. Whatever. 20 minutes later, go through the surgery, come back out, I'm patched up or whatever. Wife takes me home. I don't know if you've ever been through, like, surgery after that. You have to wait 24 hours before you can shower.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Tone Bell
So you have to wait for the took wound to heal or whatever. The next day, I'm taking a shower, and I forgot all about the two swipes of the clippers. And right before I get in the shower, I look down and I'm like, it looks so funny that it's so. I'm like. And I tell my wife, I go, yo, check this out. How crazy is this? And, dude, my wife just looks at me. She goes, what's wrong with it? And she's just. Dude, she's like. She's looking down. And I'm like, what are you looking at?
Jameela Jamil
It probably looks like sort of Abe Lincoln.
Tone Bell
Beard on the bottom, bald, up top. Yeah, but she's looking at my dick.
Chloe Radcliffe
She's not even seeing the shit.
Tone Bell
She's not even seeing a silly haircut. And I'm like, what are you talking about? She's like, why does it look like that? I go, what are you looking at? And I go, are you judging my dick right now?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, the pronoun should not be it. That's not what you should be saying.
Tone Bell
She's looking at it. And I go, she's looking at it. Like, why does it look like that? I go, have you never seen it? You've seen this so many times.
Chloe Radcliffe
She's looking at it and she's like, now we're never gonna get pregnant. We've lost all hope.
Tone Bell
I mean, she's now looking like this. She's like, why is it.
Creative Planning Announcer
Look.
Tone Bell
I go, stop looking at my dick. That face was so disrespectful. So disrespectful.
Jameela Jamil
She spent so much time with it
Tone Bell
and she calls it love.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah. Your dick.
Tone Bell
She better now.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Tone Bell
Yeah.
Jameela Jamil
Oh, my God.
Chloe Radcliffe
What was she looking at?
Tone Bell
She was looking at my dick.
Chloe Radcliffe
I know, but I mean, like, what about it? Obviously something.
Tone Bell
Well, she didn't see that. I'm like, no, it's.
Jameela Jamil
Look, it's just like when someone's had a crazy haircut that's really changed their face pinpoint somehow. That face could look.
Chloe Radcliffe
But you don't notice the haircut.
Tone Bell
You don't know if the haircut. You're like, did you do something different?
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, exactly. That's what I mean. It just feels like oh, God. I didn't know that a haircut could do that.
Tone Bell
Yeah. Quite put my finger on. I'm like, put your finger on it?
Jameela Jamil
Yeah. She's like, I don't want to touch.
Tone Bell
Looked crazy for a while, but I might do her bending down.
Jameela Jamil
But did you not feel tempted just to finish the job and go for a Brazilian?
Tone Bell
I wanted to rock the new style. Nobody's doing it.
Jameela Jamil
A buzz cut.
Tone Bell
No, he's doing it.
Jameela Jamil
Do they like a. What do you call it? Like a grade? A different grading on the.
Tone Bell
Oh, bald up top.
Jameela Jamil
Wow.
Tone Bell
It was a very. I mean, it's straight line.
Jameela Jamil
Like it was a razor.
Chloe Radcliffe
It's not. Yeah, yeah, I know. We need to get one. I mean, I bet they use a fresh razor every time. I think that's the secret.
Jameela Jamil
I don't think so. Not in America.
Chloe Radcliffe
We pay enough money. We can't. We can afford to use fresh razor.
Jameela Jamil
That is all humiliating.
Tone Bell
Yeah.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah. Well, not. Not the medical bit, but just the penis bit.
Tone Bell
Yeah. Oh, it was the way she looks at you.
Jameela Jamil
That's. That. That is fucking.
Chloe Radcliffe
It's not even business on top. Party on the bottom. It's sort of. Sort of skinhead on top.
Tone Bell
Dick mullet.
Chloe Radcliffe
Rural on the bottom.
Jameela Jamil
A dick mullet is the worst thing I've ever heard.
Tone Bell
You said it.
Jameela Jamil
Get out now.
Tone Bell
You said it. You were thinking it. I just said,
Jameela Jamil
feels like those monks that have, like bald on top, but then just the hair around there, just. Just around the outer layer. Thank you for showing it like that.
Chloe Radcliffe
Did you shave that?
Jameela Jamil
I think that's a vibe. I think that's a look to keep you a monk because no one wants to have sex with you is my personal theory.
Chloe Radcliffe
But it's not. That's not like they've bred those monks to be bald on top.
Livy Dunn
No.
Tone Bell
Y' all know that.
Chloe Radcliffe
I don't know that.
Jameela Jamil
I actually don't know that either.
Chloe Radcliffe
Asking the questions. I'm asking what we're all wondering.
Jameela Jamil
Okay, so, Chloe, give me an example.
Chloe Radcliffe
Get this.
Jameela Jamil
I'm like, we're never gonna figure this out. Chloe, do you have an example of a micro humiliation that you could.
Chloe Radcliffe
I do the two probably biggest times I've been on set for, like professional shoots. I have destroyed bathrooms with shit.
Jameela Jamil
Oh, no.
Tone Bell
And tell me more.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, the first time, it was. It's the only commercial I've ever done.
Jameela Jamil
You have a nervous belly.
Chloe Radcliffe
No. Nope. I was.
Jameela Jamil
You just get disrespectful. I was feeling at a job. Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
I'm just trying to mark my territory.
Tone Bell
Yeah. Were you on a lot? Were you like a location?
Livy Dunn
We were.
Chloe Radcliffe
It was some studio in Greenpoint. Like, you know, whatever, some warehouse building, some digital commercial. And I don't. It was not a big commercial, but I have a huge birthmark on my face. So I am not a commercial actor. I am not a. Put her in an almonds commercial and nobody sees her face. And so I was sort of like, this is crazy that they chose me for the. For a random digital commercial. Great. Awesome. Feeling so good. Had tried to, like, sort of like, watch what I was eating the days before, right? Da da da, da da. Being careful. And then at lunch I had a big salad, but I was still hungry because I had been, you know, sort of mildly starving myself a few days before. But I was like, I don't. I don't want to keep eating crafty because I want to be skinny for this fucking commercial. And so.
Tone Bell
Commercial?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah. Liars. Non alcoholic cocktail. Like, like fake gin. Okay. It's so bad. It's.
Jameela Jamil
It. Are you allowed to say that?
Chloe Radcliffe
So fucking bad. It's. That's how bad it is that I will break an NDA.
Livy Dunn
I'm good.
Chloe Radcliffe
It's unfucking drinkable.
Tone Bell
So bad. I'm. This how you got the advert?
Jameela Jamil
Was this your audition?
Chloe Radcliffe
And they were like, we're gonna actually try and convince her. We're gonna find the person who hates this the most and see if we can prove that it's actually drinkable. And guess what? It didn't work.
Jameela Jamil
Is it paint thinner?
Chloe Radcliffe
So much product left.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, it was.
Chloe Radcliffe
It's nail polish remover. There's so much product left after the shoot because. And they were like, take whatever you want. And not a single. Not.
Tone Bell
No one took anything.
Chloe Radcliffe
No one took any of it. We were all like, this is. It's unconsumable. This is poison.
Livy Dunn
Anyway,
Chloe Radcliffe
so. God, can you imagine? Anyway, so I ate the salad. I was still hungry. I was like, I wanna. I can't. I can't hear anything. And so on the crafty table, there was a bag of Lifesavers, mints. You know, the little, like, round white ones. I saw that they were sugar free. I didn't know anything about that. And I was like, great. Awesome.
Tone Bell
Wait, what does that mean?
Chloe Radcliffe
This is low calorie.
Jameela Jamil
The stuff that makes like, there's no such thing as a free lunch. If you're gonna have the sugar removed, you are gonna shit your pants. The fake sugar, it's like Xylitol.
Chloe Radcliffe
It's a, like, really bad one. Or like there's like a few erythritol.
Jameela Jamil
Erythritol, like all. Of. All of those. Yeah, yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
I think aspartame and stevia, like are less so because you don't like your brains after a Diet Coke.
Jameela Jamil
No aspartame. You just get sort of cancer later.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jameela Jamil
That's like it won't ever.
Tone Bell
It's postponed. You don't get it, but it's postponed.
Jameela Jamil
It'll up your retirement. Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
You look great on camera. Yeah. And I ate so many of these. Lifesaver. Sugar free. I ate. I did. I mean, like upwards of 15. So many. And then. And I was like, fire breath is great breath. Oh my God. Everybody's coming over. You've got meat smell, I've got mint smell. Everybody. Everybody was like, we can't go over to jam. We're going over to Chloe.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, yeah. I. I bet your didn't even smell. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Minty rat human. Yeah.
Tone Bell
Can we get her back?
Chloe Radcliffe
I like felt.
Tone Bell
So that's why they cast you for stuff like, she's gonna sit in here. It's gonna be.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jameela Jamil
No, but it's also. It's this like sickly feeling in your stomach. Horrible, bloated. And then you can.
Chloe Radcliffe
And then you hear things moving. Oh, boy. Oh, fucking boy.
Creative Planning Announcer
Awful.
Chloe Radcliffe
I heard. I kept hearing noises inside my body and I was like.
Jameela Jamil
And it's kind of going.
Tone Bell
Yeah, this is pretty.
Jameela Jamil
Shoot or during the shoot?
Chloe Radcliffe
During the shoot.
Tone Bell
Okay, this is during.
Chloe Radcliffe
This is. We had had a couple hours in the morning. We're still doing it a couple hours in the afternoon. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There was a thing inside of me. There was a spirit inside of me.
Jameela Jamil
It was Predator and Alien.
Chloe Radcliffe
And this is not. Look, it's a brand that you haven't heard of. It's a studio that wasn't that big, right. It was a rented. It was one rental warehouse place.
Jameela Jamil
How many bathrooms were there on the premises?
Chloe Radcliffe
One bathroom. Cool, cool, cool.
Tone Bell
Handicap.
Chloe Radcliffe
And I was like, oh, bad things are about to happen. And I.
Jameela Jamil
And everybody's gonna know.
Chloe Radcliffe
Locked myself in the bathroom. Not only is everybody gonna know, there is going to be when I come
Tone Bell
out, at least someone waiting a line. Yeah, without a doubt.
Jameela Jamil
Oh, no.
Tone Bell
Wide open when you went in there. But not everybody has to go.
Chloe Radcliffe
I want you to know I am the only talent on set. I one person.
Jameela Jamil
So the only person everyone's name is known.
Chloe Radcliffe
The only person who everybody is keeping track of.
Tone Bell
Tell me you were miked.
Livy Dunn
I.
Chloe Radcliffe
I bet I was Mic'd oh, my. That was incredibly so the last thing on my mind. I was so.
Jameela Jamil
Thank you for adding that to her plate. Yeah, that's good.
Chloe Radcliffe
It was. It. I was, like, concerned. I was concerned about my own body. I was concerned about the toilet. I was concerned about the small box that I was now in.
Tone Bell
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
That I had just poisoned. I. It.
Jameela Jamil
Look.
Chloe Radcliffe
And after all of that, you know how smell and taste are connected. I still would rather.
Jameela Jamil
I like where this is going one bit.
Tone Bell
I'm gonna be quiet. Cause I gotta see this connection.
Chloe Radcliffe
I still would rather smell that bathroom than drink that. Liar.
Jameela Jamil
God. That is the worst Yelp review I have ever even conceived of in my life. I'm never gonna forget this.
Chloe Radcliffe
Have you ever seen liars in a bar? Just do not have it. It's bad.
Jameela Jamil
Okay, I definitely won't.
Tone Bell
I do have a question.
Chloe Radcliffe
I already cashed that check. It's done.
Tone Bell
Do you take ownership? Like, knowing once you exit, do you go, whoa?
Jameela Jamil
Oh, yeah, good question.
Tone Bell
Don't try to sneak out. You go, yo, y' all might want to get at a minute.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tone Bell
Who got matches like the judges?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Do you own it or you own it? I think I was like, I'm really sorry.
Tone Bell
Okay.
Jameela Jamil
Oh, I know you gaslight your way through it. You just be like, I don't know what someone else did in there before, but it was not me.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah.
Jameela Jamil
Because I've got a British accent. People believe me.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah. And you. And you can keep, like, the Brits can keep a strip. The. The stiff upper lip.
Livy Dunn
Right.
Chloe Radcliffe
Like, you can keep a straight face. I'm a bad liar.
Jameela Jamil
So you just came out and went, sorry, yeah,
Chloe Radcliffe
bad, bad, bad, bad. Don't go over there.
Jameela Jamil
Oh, absolutely horrific. I can't wait for your massive humiliations. If these were your micro humiliations. We' back off to the break.

Jameela Jamil
And we're back. Okay, it's time for your big wrong turns. Tone.
Tone Bell
Yeah, this one, this, this. Okay, I haven't. I don't get a chance to talk about this one a lot because it's super embarrassing. So I'm at the time, I'm pretty sure I'm in. I'm in college and I think I'm home for Thanksgiving or Christmas, holiday season or whatever. But I'm not 21 yet. That's the thing. So I'll go home and hang out with my buddies and we're going to still we're going to clubs at the time, hit on these ladies and we decided not to go. One of my buddies is like, hey, we're going to this house party. And we get to the house party and it's like one of those, you know, those doors and like, like speakeasy when they have the little slit and they, you know.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, little window slide. Yeah, yeah.
Tone Bell
And so they like do a knock or whatever at a house. At a house which is already kind of like okay, where. How'd you hear about this?
Chloe Radcliffe
What kind of Eyes Wide Shut and
Tone Bell
is going on and the dude, you know, password and everything opens the door and like you pay. It's like 100 bucks for dudes, free for women. If. And a guy was like, 50 bucks if he brought a girl. So I'm like, okay, this is a different kind of party. We walk in and it's like. It's just a sex house.
Chloe Radcliffe
Whoa.
Tone Bell
Basically. Basically, it's a brothel for the most part. And it's people on couch. It's like six to seven couches lining
Jameela Jamil
the walls or whatever really is like eyes Wide Shutty.
Tone Bell
It's just people having sex on the couch. Just like lab dances going on. It's kiddie pools with oil and stuff. It's girls wrestling. There's like a BDSM room upstairs. It's like, all kind of wild shit, right? It's probably 150, 200 people in this house.
Jameela Jamil
You're 21, so you. I'm not 21.
Tone Bell
I'm 20. I. I do have a fake ID, but.
Chloe Radcliffe
And had you had sex at this point?
Tone Bell
Yeah.
Dani Pellegrino
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
There I was. I really was intending that to be a joke because you're one of the most beautiful people I've ever seen in my life.
Tone Bell
And I'm assuming you had sex as
Chloe Radcliffe
a teenager, but the Earnest. The Earnest, like. Yeah, I had. Okay. I'm not a fucking nerd. All right. It's very sweet.
Tone Bell
At that time. I was. I was good at sex then.
Chloe Radcliffe
You're bad at sex now.
Livy Dunn
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah.
Tone Bell
Hot balls.
Creative Planning Announcer
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tone Bell
You know what I mean?
Chloe Radcliffe
That's what happens as you age.
Tone Bell
So we're in there and it's like. And then my buddies are just. I mean, we're there probably for an hour, hour and a half. You know, there's a. It's a house party. So it was like, no bartender, so. But you go.
Jameela Jamil
All I was asking is, is that you're 20. Are you like, wow, I'm loving this. Or is this a bit intimidating?
Tone Bell
Nice, fun sex at this point, but I've never seen anything like this.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Tone Bell
But also a friend of mine, Magic City. You familiar with that? In Atlanta?
Chloe Radcliffe
No.
Tone Bell
The strip club.
Jameela Jamil
It's amazing.
Tone Bell
Oh, yeah. So I grew up with the dude who now his dad is magic. He's a little magic. So I've been around. Yeah, I've seen a lot.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Tone Bell
Like a lot of stuff. But this is like. It's a house in a neighborhood in a cul de sac. And just like a blue house, white trim, and never forget it slide on the door. And it's people everywhere. It's just. It's.
Chloe Radcliffe
How did you feel seeing that?
Tone Bell
I definitely was the youngest person in there, of course. But I mean, you go, oh, people do this. You see it. I mean, you know, I've watched porn before, so I'm like. Like I've seen people having sex, but I've never seen, like. Yeah, a lot of people having sex.
Jameela Jamil
No, you're sort of like in the server of pornhub, standing in the matrix.
Tone Bell
I mean, just having a rum and con.
Chloe Radcliffe
You can search for anything.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Tone Bell
I mean, there's nowhere to sit because people.
Jameela Jamil
You don't want to touch anything.
Tone Bell
Nothing. No, you're like this dirty ice.
Chloe Radcliffe
Oh, my God.
Tone Bell
People just.
Chloe Radcliffe
What is the light colored liquid that's been frozen into this cube?
Tone Bell
Is that liars over there? So we're there for like an hour, hour and a half. And at one point, one of my buddies.
Jameela Jamil
What are you doing for an hour and a half?
Tone Bell
Drinking, going through room to room. I mean, you're gonna watch the show. Okay, it's girls mud wrestling, but it's, you know, lube. And they're just girls walking around. Just people naked. I have on my clothes, right? Most people had their clothes on if they weren't fucking. But it's still a house party. I mean, it's somebody having sex over here, but people dancing over here, which is a crazy thing for a 180 just to cool.
Jameela Jamil
And people are just.
Creative Planning Announcer
Feels good.
Chloe Radcliffe
And it does feel good.
Tone Bell
It does feel good. A lot of people feel good. I'm with like probably three or four friends, and then they start doing this bit of like, oh, you know, it's his birthday today. And I go, no, no, no, it's not my birthday. And they go, no, he's turned 21 today. And now it becomes a thing. Like at the party. And some of the girls are like, it's your birthday, of course. And I go, no, no, they're bullshitting. Don't worry. But also, I don't want to not be 21 in here. I need to. Yeah, right. So. So one of the girls comes up and they're just like, oh, my God. Oh, he's so cute. Let me. I' ma suck his dick for his birthday. And I go, no, I'm good, I'm fine.
Jameela Jamil
What's wrong with you?
Tone Bell
I go, I'm sure you're great, but
Chloe Radcliffe
seems like a real nice girl.
Tone Bell
I go, oh, no, man, you. You all right? Don't worry about it. You got so many other dicks in there. And.
Jameela Jamil
And why did you not want your dick sucked?
Tone Bell
It's 200 people here. She didn't take me to a Room.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, that's.
Tone Bell
Oh, eventually it happened.
Jameela Jamil
Oh, okay.
Tone Bell
So she's like. I mean. Cause now people are looking. Cause she's like, I bet you I can make you come in three. I mean, now it's getting. I'm a spectator now.
Chloe Radcliffe
You're the center of attention.
Tone Bell
And now she's like, oh, man, get your dick sucked. I mean, it's. So now people are encouraging me.
Chloe Radcliffe
People are gambling on you.
Tone Bell
She squats down and she undoes me. And now I'm out. Now I'm a dick.
Chloe Radcliffe
She's like, why do you have your pubes shaped like this? She touches bulls.
Jameela Jamil
And it's like she goes to touch his bulls.
Tone Bell
Was that 101? 102. And so I started getting a blowjob in the middle of this party. And I mean, people are. I mean, it's like, it's. Now it's people that.
Jameela Jamil
It was a sporting event.
Tone Bell
It was. And I mean, I have like the most respect for porn stars now. Going like, oh, I. You don't think about having to perform in front of people. But she's like, I'mma make you come in like three minutes. I go, no, I'm sure you're good. Now she's blowing me. And there's people leaning over the balcony. It's. It's.
Livy Dunn
Oh, my.
Tone Bell
Everybody's out there doing. Watching me get a blow job.
Jameela Jamil
How are you feeling while it's happening?
Tone Bell
Not great.
Chloe Radcliffe
People mid penetration stop humping to turn.
Tone Bell
We get to like three minutes. And. And. But I'm. And she's like, oh, I'll give you 60 more seconds plus either. And I'm like, I'm. I'm trying to come.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tone Bell
But the pressure. But the pressure's too. I mean.
Chloe Radcliffe
And also the second you start trying to come is the. Is when you're absolutely not gonna come.
Tone Bell
I mean, to be like 20 going, come, come, come, come, come down. I'm trying to. And so now I got. My buddies are watching. People are, happy birthday, bro. I mean, it's crazy. And then I don't come.
Chloe Radcliffe
Wow.
Tone Bell
She gets up. I'm just in the middle of this room with my 2000.
Chloe Radcliffe
A disappointed woman, down to room of
Tone Bell
disappointment for my non birthday. And people start booing me.
Jameela Jamil
No,
Tone Bell
people boo me at this house party where everybody else can come.
Chloe Radcliffe
Oh, my God.
Tone Bell
I get booed. I put my dick up.
Chloe Radcliffe
With your dick out. With your hard dick out. You get booed.
Tone Bell
That's the only thing I had going for me.
Livy Dunn
That's.
Jameela Jamil
That's so Scarring.
Tone Bell
I didn't drive. I can't leave. I'm still. I gotta stick around this party for another hour.
Chloe Radcliffe
Oh, my fuck.
Tone Bell
I'm going into the kitchen to pour another drink and people are like, nah, man, you couldn't even come. It's the rest of the night. I'm just a dude who couldn't come on his birthday.
Livy Dunn
Oh,
Chloe Radcliffe
my God.
Tone Bell
God. Wild.
Jameela Jamil
I had no idea where that was gonna go. And I've never heard anything like that in my entire life. You poor little 20 year old baby. Like, that is just so awful.
Tone Bell
It's. I mean, it's like, did you have
Jameela Jamil
nightmares about this for me?
Tone Bell
And of course my friends are laughing. They're like, yeah, we couldn't come. I mean, we're in this car on the way home.
Chloe Radcliffe
Are you still friends?
Jameela Jamil
But also, it's really.
Tone Bell
Some of them, yeah. We still talk a couple times a year.
Jameela Jamil
But also it's really tricky because, like, you don't wanna come too fast. Like, so you have to time it perfectly. You wanna get to that three minute mark and, you know, to prove her wrong.
Tone Bell
And I mean, I. Her skill set, I'm sure is. Is amazing, but. Which means she's probably going, I've done this in three minutes.
Jameela Jamil
How long did she go before she
Tone Bell
sort of was probably four minutes. Probably four minutes.
Jameela Jamil
That's quite impatient.
Chloe Radcliffe
It's. I. I mean, I think she did.
Livy Dunn
She.
Jameela Jamil
I'm just saying, like, no one's got any work ethic anymore.
Chloe Radcliffe
Absolutely, absolutely.
Tone Bell
But she was kind of offended too.
Chloe Radcliffe
Of like, oh, you millennials don't even want to work.
Tone Bell
You think you're better than me? I go, no, no, I think you're right.
Chloe Radcliffe
Right, right. She feels insulted and you're like, I didn't want this.
Tone Bell
I didn't want this.
Chloe Radcliffe
And do you think that's why they wouldn't let you into the Netflix party?
Tone Bell
They heard about it.
Chloe Radcliffe
Cause they were like, this guy ruins parties.
Jameela Jamil
The bouncer from the Comedy Store was there that night.
Tone Bell
No, no, he can't even come.
Chloe Radcliffe
He's gonna need to walk you off the premises. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. He's gonna get his dick out and nothing's gonna happen.
Jameela Jamil
Oh, my God, that's so funny. We're gonna go to a quick break.
Dani Pellegrino

Chloe Radcliffe
And we're back.
Jameela Jamil
Oh Jesus fucking Christ. For goodness sake. Okay, we need to clear our clear our minds from a booed dick and we need to move on. Chloe.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yes?
Jameela Jamil
What is your biggest wrong turn?
Chloe Radcliffe
My big wrong turn. Okay, so I'm dating a British stand up.
Jameela Jamil
Okay.
Chloe Radcliffe
I go over to London.
Jameela Jamil
I'm Sorry.
Chloe Radcliffe
I have a big birthmark on my face, and I get crazy reactions to it every single day. People say the wildest shit to me still. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Jameela Jamil
Oh, yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
Every day. Because the problem is that you. For people who know me, it goes away after five minutes. But, like, for a stranger, they're still in the first five minutes. Everybody I pass on the sidewalk is still in those first five minutes where they're like, what the. Is that. What's going on here? Hey, here's the thing. People of color are so much more normal about my birthmark than white people are. Truly. That is like a 100%. Both have more normal reactions. And also, it's a bit of us. Much more.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a bit of us.
Tone Bell
It's like, oh, I see. Me and you.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Exactly.
Jameela Jamil
Family.
Chloe Radcliffe
We've got something to come. Exactly. Yeah. I. I don't know. Truly, in New York, when I walk down the sidewalk, if a stranger is going to stop me and compliment me on my birthmark, it is 100% of the time a black person. And I genuinely don't know why. I don't know if it's that black people can sort of sense that sometimes strangers touch my birthmark without asking. And we're like, we have something in common. I don't know. I don't know. I'm not sure. Truly, white people are the ones who have the, like, weirdest reactions. Like, white people will be like, you're rooting for the bears. And I'm like, I don't. How can you not identify that this is a birthmark and that this is, like, things that people have? Whatever. And I'm used to everything. I'm used to, like, food.
Tone Bell
After a while, you're using callous to it. Like, you just. You've heard it all.
Chloe Radcliffe
None of it, none of it fazes me.
Tone Bell
That's like, when people go, like, tone bell. Your names have a ring to it. I go, yeah, all right.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah.
Tone Bell
Where's my sandwich?
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Livy Dunn
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yes. I do give my full name at some point. So the one reaction that, like, does bother me is every once in a while, I will get somebody who says, oh, I had a birthmark just like that it was cancer. And that I don't love. Believe it or not.
Tone Bell
Where's my sandwich?
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
God, this fucking curse. Subway. And then I also, like, one time, like, the weird reactions do stick out to me, you know, like, they will pierce the surface. I one time had a guy. I was at a wedding and we had. It was Like a multi day wedding. It was a destination wedding. So we had sort of all been like hanging out and making new friends in this big group. And one guy who I had met and hadn't made, like, very good friends with, but he was in this big group, we were dancing on the dance floor and he came over to me and put his arm around me and I was like, we're friends. We're new friends. That's fun. I didn't. I didn't think he liked me that much. And he leans in and he whispers. He's very drunk. He whispers in my ear, if I lick the mole, does it get me high? And I was.
Jameela Jamil
What?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah. All of these reactions from white people, by the way, for the record, every single. All of the weird shit is always white people.
Tone Bell
It's like the frog hallucination riff.
Jameela Jamil
Is that what that is?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, that's what the riff was. And so, like, I get weird reactions like that. I am used to that. That is my comp for, like, walking in the world. Feeling like you're outside of the norm. Right?
Jameela Jamil
Yeah. Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
Okay. That's the preface. And like, obviously this is. Having a birthmark is not the same as being like, I am a white person. I do not know what it is like to exist in this world as a person of color.
Jameela Jamil
Well, no, we accept you.
Livy Dunn
Thank you.
Jameela Jamil
I'll take you at least to the Indian side. You can join the curry house.
Tone Bell
I know some house parties they would love.
Jameela Jamil
You want to know how else can you come?
Chloe Radcliffe
Usually it's long, but if I need to get something done, I can get something done. I can't perform under pressure, though. That is. No, I feel you. Okay, now we're gonna see if you still accept me after the story that I'm about to tell you. I was in London and I was at a comedian's birthday party and a ton of other comedians there, many of whom I know, many of whom I don't. The comedian whose birthday party it was is more senior than me and as
Jameela Jamil
in older or just more famous.
Chloe Radcliffe
More famous. Much, much, much more famous than me.
Jameela Jamil
Can't wait to the end of the episode when I ask you who that is.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yes, yes. So a bunch of the other comedians at this party are also more famous than me and people whose, like, names I've heard for a long time and who I admire and look up to, and most importantly, want them to think I am cool and funny and memorable and interesting and want us to be friends. And then we can't. Right. I was talking to a brown comedian, a woman who's a brown person at this party. And I had not met her before I knew her name. And I was like, so great to meet you. I don't know her work very well. I've seen her stuff online. I've never really gone down a rabbit hole of her stuff. She, like, writes on a lot of cool stuff, is in a lot of cool stuff. That's awesome. But I'm like, not really deep in it with her, but because I want to be friends with people who are more famous than me. I went, I'm such a fan of your work. And she was like, thank you so much. Yeah, you already know where this is going. She's like, thank you so much. And we were chatting, whatever, you know, the conversation was, was flowing fine. And then I was like, oh, you know what? Just recently I met with and I named a director and she was like, oh, I don't know that person. And I was like, oh, really? I think she directed. And then I named the wrong movie, a project with a different brown comedian in it.
Jameela Jamil
I've been there, friend.
Chloe Radcliffe
And she, wait, have you been the person receiving or the person saying.
Jameela Jamil
I've been the person saying about another Indian. It was literally. So there's two really big journalists who are Indian in England and one of them is Krishna Grimathy and the other one is. Was Martin Bashir, the guy that did that, like, horrific Princess Diana interview. Yes. And I went on Krishna Guru Murthy's interview show. I'd never been on a podcast before. This was like 2018. I was like, really, you know, new to everything. And I walked in and I was like, hi, nice to meet you. And I was really, really nervous and really, really anxious. And I've been away, you know, for a long time. And he was like, I'm such a big fan. And I was like, oh, my God, thank you so much.
Livy Dunn
Me too.
Jameela Jamil
I was like, princess Diana? And he went, yes, I'm sure Martin Bashir would love that compliment. And I didn't even like that fucking panorama. I was so offended by it. It was the worst interview ever.
Chloe Radcliffe
And then he, like, you're just digging for something.
Jameela Jamil
We had a 1 hour, 40 minute interview after that and he like, it was intense.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's getting his revenge edit.
Jameela Jamil
Made it look far less intense than it was.
Chloe Radcliffe
Sure. Short, short.
Jameela Jamil
I love him now.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, but does he love you?
Jameela Jamil
I don't think so. Anyway, so. So I've done it to Indians. I'm not going to throw you out. The window. Don't worry.
Chloe Radcliffe
I said the name of the project, and she went, oh, that's. And just named the other person who I was mixing her up with. And I was like, oh, my fucking God, I'm so sorry. And then I think my brain went into, like, survival mode.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
So right away, trying to save it now, I actually.
Jameela Jamil
What year was this?
Chloe Radcliffe
A month, two months ago? Six months ago. This is really recent.
Tone Bell
This is to this fresh.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tone Bell
I still got the stitches.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah. My toes are still curling right now telling this story. This is a recent experience.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
I think I. To save it. I, like, tried to play it cool, and I was like, oh, my God, I'm so sorry. I'm so fucking stupid that you're totally right. So, so, so sorry.
Tone Bell
That's what you. That's what you do.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, I'm doing this. Okay. And she was like, as placid about it as you can be.
Livy Dunn
Yeah.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah. I'm sure it's not the first time as well.
Chloe Radcliffe
I'm sure it's not the first time. I bet it's not the first time
Jameela Jamil
she's been confused with this Cece from you girl tonight. Bianca shop for all the time tonight.
Tone Bell
This happened earlier tonight, too.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah.
Tone Bell
Like, she was like, not me before
Chloe Radcliffe
I even opened my mouth. No, no, no. You're thinking of. And then we, like, kept chatting for five minutes, and the conversation moved on, and I then walked away, and I was like, why did I keep fucking talking to her? I bet she didn't want to keep fucking talking to me. Why did I keep the conversation? I should have just been like, I'm so sorry. I'm a dumbass. There's nothing I can do to come back from this. Have a great rest of your night. I will not.
Jameela Jamil
I think that would make that weirder and worse. I really wouldn't like that.
Chloe Radcliffe
Okay.
Jameela Jamil
No, I think it's really important that you just keep going and say sorry and then move on. It's a fucking honest mistake. It's not the end of the world. Like, it's not, like, the same as being, like, a fucking actual white supremacist. Like, you just got someone mixed up. I get people mixed up all the time.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yes. Okay.
Tone Bell
I think it's way worse taking a shit on set.
Jameela Jamil
But you know what I will say is that coming on a show with an Indian and a black person and telling that story is a wrong turn, but it will start.
Chloe Radcliffe
I'm here being like, am I okay, Tell me. I'M one of the good ones. Tell me I'm still okay.
Jameela Jamil
Tell me, please.
Chloe Radcliffe
I need you to make me feel better about myself.
Tone Bell
Do I eat those moments? It's like, I, I. I don't know what it is. Maybe I just like being embarrassed, but, like, if. Because I. I think we've all done that.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, yeah.
Livy Dunn
100.
Tone Bell
And I. I've done it. And I go, man, you right. That wasn't you at all.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, yeah, yeah, man.
Tone Bell
Can I ask. Can I look it up real quick, which. Because I know you from something. Stay here, and I'll just. I'll lean in heavy to go. I'm gonna keep digging this hole.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Tone Bell
But that's why I'm gonna keep talking to you. Because now we got something.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah.
Tone Bell
It wasn't what I thought it was, but we got something.
Jameela Jamil
I tell them that I have CTE in my brain all the years of football. Yeah. And that's true. But I'm like. I was like, I've had six concussions. I was like, I don't even know who I am. So that's how I.
Tone Bell
What's my ID say?
Jameela Jamil
That of it? Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
I felt so fucking dumb.
Jameela Jamil
There's also that fear of, like, now all the next people that this woman talks to, she'll be like, have you seen that? Fucking Americans.
Livy Dunn
Yes.
Chloe Radcliffe
And she is an American. That is part of it. So she knows a lot of. It's like, it's not really insulated. Like, she happened to be over.
Tone Bell
Are you drinking or. And, or high Drinking.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yes.
Tone Bell
Okay.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yes. And I journal, like, compulsively to get myself. Like, anytime there's something bad in my head, I'm like, my bloodletting is just, like, stream of conscious journaling.
Jameela Jamil
That's pretty good for you.
Chloe Radcliffe
And so I went to the bathroom and I started journaling. And in that, I was like, look, the closest comp that I have to this is my birthmark is when somebody says something psycho to me about my birthmark. And I am so inured to it. Like, I'm so calloused, you know? Like, it's like, it doesn't bother me.
Tone Bell
Yes, this is gonna happen.
Chloe Radcliffe
It's gonna happen. But when somebody says something psycho to me, I am like, great, we're never gonna be friends. That, like, you, you have written yourself off permanently. If you say a real, like, nut job thing to me, I'm not ever gonna be mean to you. I'm not like, we'll chat. That's fine. But it is like, you are forever the person who said that whack thing to me. And so I'm like, I just have to know. Yeah, I'll never forget them. So I just have. I am forever the person who mixed her up. Oh. Then at the party, we're in a pub in London. The guy whose birthday it was had a room like that, had the basement specifically rented for his birthday party. And I kept leaving my phone on the table as a. Literally, as a. Like, it's sort of nice to just, like, feel safe in.
Jameela Jamil
No, I can't.
Chloe Radcliffe
And then I. It was sitting. I kept checking it on the table. Look, this is. This is how, you know, I'm really a white liberal. This is how, you know, I was out at the market because I'm like, I just love to trust in the universe. And then two hours later, my fucking phone is stolen. And so I now have humiliated myself in front of one of the famous comedians friends. And then my boyfriend and I are at the end of the night looking for the phone and famous comedian whose birthday it is, whose 40th birthday it was. It was big birthday. Not. Not just a normal birthday.
Tone Bell
Not 37.
Chloe Radcliffe
And he. Not 37, not 38. He was. And he was like, do you need help looking for something? And I was like, no, I think. I think I got my phone stolen. He's helping me look.
Tone Bell
You know who stole your phone?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah.
Tone Bell
She took your phone.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah. And honestly, rightly so.
Jameela Jamil
Indians do that.
Tone Bell
Learned a lesson, right?
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah. Yeah. For the record, she did not take my phone. A thief took my phone. A man.
Jameela Jamil
It was definitely a white person who took my phone. Yeah, I.
Chloe Radcliffe
A white person who I would mix up with any other white person. A white person who. I do not know who he is.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, man. Yeah, I can feel that. I feel that humiliation. It's.
Chloe Radcliffe
I actually love hearing that other YouTube be like, oh, yeah, we've done. We've done that. Definitely.
Jameela Jamil
There was a tour bus that went by my house when I was living up on Mulholland a few years ago, and they saw me from the window and they were like, oh, my God, everyone, look, it's Priyanka Chopra. And is that Nick? And it's just my bald white friend who looks nothing like Nick Jonas, and I look nothing like Priyanka Chopra. I was like, let's simulate sex. Let's just do something mental. But, yeah, so I get Priyanka all the time and CeCe from New Girl all the time. And I'm thrilled for it because they're hot.
Chloe Radcliffe
Yeah, they're both Beautiful.
Jameela Jamil
Who do people confuse you with anyone?
Chloe Radcliffe
They always mix me up for the girl with the birthmark on the other side of her face is. Oh.
Jameela Jamil
Oh.
Chloe Radcliffe
Your left side.
Jameela Jamil
Your left side. Okay. You've both been an absolute dream. Such sweethearts. Such silly stories. Before you go, we love to get listener stories. This is Misery Loves Company. And they've chosen not to include their name, which doesn't often happen, which means it's going to be quite bad, I think he said. I had a work trip and we had a huge Hawaiian party. A co worker and I snuck outside to have sex behind a building. It was the heat of the moment, and I thought it was a great idea to fling my bikini bottom like a slingshot. But when we finished, it was dark and I couldn't find them. So I walked back to my room with my arse and more showing, only to realize I didn't have the room key and had to sleep on a cardboard box.
Chloe Radcliffe
What?
Jameela Jamil
Outside my door? Until my roommate came back. And I learned that there is rarely an upside to drinking your body weight in sangria. So just lying there on a cardboard.
Tone Bell
Pussy out and a little lips out, labia free.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah. In the wind.
Chloe Radcliffe
I think the drunkest part of that decision was not to have sex and was not to throw the bikini bottom. The drunkest part of that decision was to lay down on a cardboard box.
Tone Bell
Where'd you fall?
Chloe Radcliffe
Hide a little bit in the dark.
Tone Bell
Where are you staying? Where cardboard is laying around.
Chloe Radcliffe
Is this in a hotel hallway?
Tone Bell
There's gotta be a cardboard closet. There's gotta be a day's in. There's gotta be out there outside doors. There's gotta be a dumbbell.
Chloe Radcliffe
I'm so doubt.
Jameela Jamil
But also, how big is the cardboard box?
Tone Bell
Why didn't you take the box, wrap it around? You go to the front desk? This place has no front desk.
Jameela Jamil
Clearly not. I mean, I've stayed in places that don't, so it's like you just have a key card and you go in.
Tone Bell
I don't think you've ever stayed at a place without a front desk.
Jameela Jamil
I just literally recently did.
Tone Bell
Who doesn't have a front desk?
Jameela Jamil
But, like a residence instead of a. Like, you know, like an apartment.
Chloe Radcliffe
You know how in the way that rich people and poor people kind of do the same things? Like, the circle closes.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah.
Tone Bell
Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
You know, it's like. It's like both of them have hyphenated last names.
Tone Bell
I still eat baloney. You're.
Jameela Jamil
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Chloe Radcliffe
There are very shitty hotels that have no dozen and they're very nice hotels.
Jameela Jamil
Yeah, yeah. I do indie movies.
Chloe Radcliffe
Do you?
Jameela Jamil
And on that note, thanks for coming, guys. Will you tell everyone where they can find you and what you want them to watch and listen to? Ton. Should we start with you?
Tone Bell
Yeah. T O N E B E L L Just Tonebell. All my socials are that, plus my website, all my tour dates and things that are coming out. And I have a new show, a new podcast with my mom.
Chloe Radcliffe
Adorable.
Tone Bell
She's retired now, so I want to figure out a way for us to hang out more. And my mom's just very funny. So it comes out in August. Iheartradio. It's called Valentone's Day.
Chloe Radcliffe
Wow.
Livy Dunn
Love. Yeah.
Chloe Radcliffe
Ms. Bell. What's her name?
Tone Bell
Val. Yeah.
Jameela Jamil
And what about you, you little racist?
Chloe Radcliffe
If you want to hear a little bit more bigotry from me.
Tone Bell
How much time do we have?
Chloe Radcliffe
Oh, I got some stereotypes for you. I'm ChloeBadcliffe on all socials.
Jameela Jamil
Great.
Chloe Radcliffe
I'm touring. I'm doing my solo show. Boy, oh boy. If anybody still likes me, this next sentence is gonna put the final nail in the coffin. I'm doing my solo show about cool.
Jameela Jamil
They all look the same
Chloe Radcliffe
and it's good, it's revered. No, I have a solo show about how I have cheated in all of my relationships.
Jameela Jamil
People love that shit.
Chloe Radcliffe
People love it.
Jameela Jamil
They love that shit.
Chloe Radcliffe
This show does not condone cheating. I think cheating is always bad. I think it always hurts somebody, but it happens all the time. Anyway, I'm doing that in August in New York at Joe's Pub.

Collegial, raucous, unapologetically candid, and deeply self-effacing. The group’s humor is irreverent and joyous—no embarrassment is off-limits, and every disaster is embraced, not soothed.
For fans of cringe, catastrophe, and self-effacing honesty, this episode is a showcase of camaraderie in calamity.
