So I've been doing this daily and I've been rearranging my numbers and my tasks on AI, specifically on ChatGPT, and it's going really well. So I want to share this with you because now it's going on one month or so since I've been doing this. And I absolutely love it because it's not only allowed me to go through my ChatGPT daily specific numbers, but to also go through the tasks. Because what I've noticed is when I set up a task on ChatGPT so that it shows up routinely, right when we talked about that last week, when I said, hey, set up these three tasks on ChatGPT, when I set those up and I don't show up to read them, it shuts them off. Like after three or four days it says, hey, you haven't been logging in to check the task that I'm setting up, so I'm going to shut it off for now. And I'm like, ah, I don't want that. So, so the purpose of this, I wrote this down. And by the way, this is episode 707. If you need this, message me on Instagram. The idea behind this is that I want to organize how I show up daily. So if I know that every time I'm going to open ChatGPT and treat it with more purpose, more intent. It's kind of like when I'm, when I'm opening up a CRM, I'm going to the processes. I'm numbering them here too. I'm like saying, hey, what's more important for me? And if I'm looking at mine right now, I'm looking at the very first thing is real estate news. Second is realtor.com redfin homes.com news. And I have it break it down for me, pull out the information. And then I have social media, I also have Reddit, I also have finance news. And all of this information can be pulled out for me because I'm in this zone of looking out every morning at this time, I'm going to go through and I'm numbering them 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. And I know exactly how I'm going to dig in to AI. Now I have these as tasks too. So I know that when I look at them every day this information is being pulled into ChatGPT because I've requested it to be done. And I want you to do the same thing. Like, what about your area where you live? Austin, Texas, San Diego, Indianapolis, Manhattan. Every day, have it pull information about the area, whether it's news that's trending, whether it's real estate related, I don't care, whatever it is every day. And then now because you have them numbered like me, I have number, I put the little one and then I put real estate news number two, Redfin, realtor.com and homes.com. right. Number three, finance news in the United States. Right. And then you could just go through and you know exactly how you're going to show up. For me, it made the biggest difference. I'm like, got it. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Right. And I have nine. So you could do whatever you want. Anyway, if you need this, I've kind of outlined exactly how it works, what you should do it, examples, please ask for it. It's episode 707. I'm Tristan, your daily real estate. Thanks for tuning in again. Have an awesome day.
Episode 707: I Let ChatGPT Run My Day for 30 Days, Here’s What Happened
Date: November 6, 2025
Host: Tristan Ahumada
In this episode, Tristan Ahumada shares his experience after letting ChatGPT organize and prompt his daily real estate tasks for 30 days. He explains how using AI has shifted his workflow, helped streamline daily priorities, and provided a practical blueprint for other real estate agents and brokers to implement similar systems in their own routines.
Tristan describes how he has embedded ChatGPT into his morning routine, rearranging both his priorities and tasks with AI as his guide.
By numbering and categorizing tasks, the platform becomes a digital assistant, cueing what needs to be done next.
"So I've been doing this daily and I've been rearranging my numbers and my tasks on AI, specifically on ChatGPT, and it's going really well." (00:00)
He likens the process to logging into a CRM—showing up with intention and following a purposeful, repeatable order.
Tristan discovered that ChatGPT will deactivate routine tasks if the user fails to check in for a few days, emphasizing the need for consistency.
"When I set those up and I don't show up to read them, it shuts them off. Like after three or four days it says, hey, you haven't been logging in to check the task that I'm setting up, so I'm going to shut it off for now. And I'm like, ah, I don't want that." (00:27)
By writing down tasks and numbering them (1-9 in his personal system), he ensured nothing falls through the cracks.
His system includes having ChatGPT pull relevant information from various sources each day (real estate news, market updates from realtor.com, Redfin, homes.com, finance news, and social media trends like Reddit).
"I'm looking at the very first thing is real estate news. Second is realtor.com, Redfin, homes.com news... And then I have social media, I also have Reddit, I also have finance news. And all of this information can be pulled out for me." (01:13)
Doing this creates a repeatable, highly organized flow of information customized to his needs and market.
Tristan encourages listeners to set up a similar workflow for their own metro area, having AI pull trending news—real estate and otherwise—local market stats, or anything meaningful to their business.
"What about your area where you live? Austin, Texas, San Diego, Indianapolis, Manhattan. Every day, have it pull information about the area, whether it's news that's trending, whether it's real estate related, I don't care, whatever it is every day." (02:18)
The exact tasks are flexible and can be adjusted to each agent's specific market needs and personal style.
The act of numbering and reviewing these tasks with ChatGPT daily created more deliberate focus. Tristan stresses the transformative impact this structure has made on his productivity.
"For me, it made the biggest difference. I'm like, got it. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Right. And I have nine. So you could do whatever you want." (02:56)
On accountability and routine:
"If I know that every time I'm going to open ChatGPT and treat it with more purpose, more intent. It's kind of like when I'm opening up a CRM, I'm going to the processes." (00:55)
On fostering a personal system:
"By numbering them here too. I'm like saying, hey, what's more important for me?" (01:09)
Advice to listeners:
"If you need this, I've kind of outlined exactly how it works, what you should do, examples, please ask for it." (03:11)
Tristan’s month-long trial with ChatGPT transformed his approach to task management and information gathering, creating a structured, consistent, and intentional workflow. By numbering tasks and having ChatGPT curate essential news and data every morning, he not only boosted productivity but also recommends real estate professionals do the same for market agility and daily clarity.
