Zayn
Some things I'm just not good at. And that's okay.
Matt
Correct.
Zayn
Correct.
Matt
You could also learn things. You can't get taller.
Zayn
No, I can't. No, no. Look, I can learn things, but it just doesn't stay in my brain.
Matt
Okay. Okay.
Heath
Technically, can get taller.
Zayn
Yeah. Remember Jordan? Jordan wanted to get taller, right?
Matt
You can't. There are cosmetic intensive surgeries.
Zayn
Jordan, tell. Tell Matt how you wanted to get taller.
Jordan
I did. I was offered the surgery from my mother I had when I was a freshman in high school. I had a. Like a bone aging, and my bones were already 18 years old in high school, so wasn't gonna grow anymore because I was planning on taking like, growth hormones.
Matt
Right. Which have worked. My friend took growth hormones when I was in high school. Crazy shot up.
Zayn
Do you have to be short to take their growth hormones?
Matt
I think he had a brain tumor.
Zayn
Oh, okay.
Matt
So I. I think he had a brain tumor, but it wasn't like cancerous, but it was a tumor in his brain. He had to get it removed. But he was already a short gu. He took growth hormones after the tumor was removed. It was one of the shortest guys in the group. Shot up huge. Wow. But I don't. I don't. I'm not sure if it like the hormones, though, did affect him elsewhere.
Zayn
Oh, okay. Okay.
Matt
I am saying this so anonymously and I will not say his name, but I do remember there were some comments.
Zayn
There is nothing wrong with not having the biggest pecker.
Matt
Right. Right.
Zayn
You know what I mean? Right. And if there's things out there that help you grow, it sounds like about to do an ad read.
Jordan
Well, that. That's actually one of the reasons I did not go on was because my bones were 18 fused. If I did start the hormone treatment, there was a very likely chance that I'd have an organ that grew too big or an organ that grew. Stopped growing. Your penis.
Heath
Well, there's a sheath for every sword.
Zayn
Yeah.
Heath
Just remember that.
Matt
Yes.
Zayn
Whatever makes your left now grow a little bit more. I need that.
Heath
Whatever.
Zayn
Whatever helps grow one of your nuts.
Matt
Clearly Mariah is not here on this episode.
Zayn
Oh, yeah, clearly Mariah is not here today.
Heath
She immediate too. Just started.
Zayn
Yeah. Mariah is bit under the weather. So unfortunately she will not be here this episode.
Matt
But thank goodness she's under the weather now versus later. I mean, the wedding is in like two weeks.
Heath
Three weeks. She didn't feel well last night, and then today woke up even worse and she was just in and out of sleep all day. And then when I went to check on her before coming here. She was knocked out and like I woke her up and her forehead was like boiling hot. She just was not feeling well. I was like, don't worry. Just like, yeah, just relax.
Zayn
Because she didn't do her weekly olive oil bathes.
Heath
Yeah, could have been.
Matt
Those Zycam gummies are also really good. Like the zinc gummies.
Heath
I've heard about that.
Matt
This is not an ad, Shane. Patricia was sick a couple months ago, and then I started, like, feeling that sickness and everyone on Tick Tock was swearing by those Zycam gummies. I popped them. You're supposed to have a handful every couple hours. Swerved it.
Heath
What's the vitamin powder?
Matt
The vitamin C packs. Emergency.
Heath
Emergency. I love that. I drink that. Like, it's like orange juice.
Matt
I know.
Heath
It's so tasty.
Zayn
What's in that?
Heath
No idea.
Matt
Vitamins.
Zayn
Is it like. Is it like a liquid iv?
Matt
Yes, but I think liquid IV is more electrolytes. Vitamin C. It's an emergency. Emphasis on the C. It's more. More vitamin C. An immune boosting. Yes. Cocktail powder.
Zayn
Got it. While liquid IV is more hydration.
Matt
Yes.
Zayn
Interesting. Why. So why doesn't liquid IV just put the vitamin C in it?
Matt
You know what? Great question. I'm like, can't we just have it all be.
Heath
It means one powdered exact thing and it's everything.
Matt
A miracle blend of it.
Zayn
Everything in one.
Matt
That one guy, though, did. The Brian Johnson guy. The guy. The.
Heath
Oh, the guy trying to like, lower his, like, biological age or whatever it is.
Matt
He's trying to live as long as he can. He just started putting out, out a line of, like, vitamins, drink mixes, all of it. Which, this. It was the one time I was actually like, maybe I will buy it. But then I feel like he's just.
Zayn
Did you watch the little docu series on Netflix?
Matt
A lot of the clips came up on my feet.
Zayn
Okay. So I. We actually sat and watched it and obviously he was getting a lot. What was a good. What was the cool thing about this documentary is that it was in the moment of while he was getting hate, the doc documentary was still being filmed. So he'd be on the computer reading all this hate and he would. You would see him like live react to everything. And usually that doesn't happen till after and you don't get to see that interaction. You were seeing him kind of go through all this and he like, just did not care.
Matt
He's like, look, he's worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Like.
Zayn
Yeah. So what was It. He was already, like, loaded, and then he started.
Matt
Yeah.
Zayn
Doing this.
Matt
He sold a company. Like a tech company.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
Probably like 10 years ago. I can't give the exact date, but yeah. Made hundreds of millions of dollars. Like, I want to say maybe like 500 million.
Zayn
So he's just pretty much just taking his own money and just trying out this experiment to see if it works in himself. That's how I see it.
Matt
You beat the video game of, like, life in terms of just winning all the tokens.
Heath
Now you're just trying to keep the game running. Right. You're just working on the console now.
Matt
But you can't have a damn cocktail.
Zayn
Well, that's. That's the thing.
Matt
There is nothing wrong, Respect to sobriety. But, hell, if I. If I was, I'd be like, cigarettes all the time.
Zayn
Yeah. I mean, at this point, a cigarette would kill him. Yeah. Imagine putting anything in his life. He gets so sick.
Matt
I'm just like. Hopefully his little, like, assistants are doing the best that they can, because can you imagine, like, they're setting him up on, like, to take something, and it actually ends up, like, killing him.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
Making him live, like, less long.
Zayn
Or they're. Or they're put. They're. They're getting his medicine cap, like, his medicine thing ready. He. They're just putting, like, pills that, like, they're.
Matt
Right.
Zayn
Are not supposed to be the. He's supposed to be taking.
Matt
Maybe. I know that there is something that he was doing with his hair that he said that he had to stop because it was actually, like, making it worse. But I just wonder, like, what if he just has, like, a manic episode and it's just a year later, just like I was. I was over that. It was not fun. I realized the meaning of life is.
Heath
Actually just to live it.
Matt
To live it.
Zayn
Yeah.
Heath
Right.
Matt
Right.
Zayn
Yeah, I agree with that, too. It's like, when I was watching it, to me, it wasn't like I didn't feel like he wanted to live as long as he want, like, could. To me, it was like, he really wants to try this experiment.
Heath
Yeah. I wasn't believing it. I wasn't believing the motive behind it.
Zayn
Oh, like he wanted to live longer.
Matt
Yeah.
Zayn
Yeah. I didn't either. I think he was genuinely curious. He just wanted to test this himself to see if it's possible, because he seems like a very analytical, like, experimental guy, like, to me, at least. So I think he's just doing. He. He wants to be sober. He wants to try to be clean and be healthy. So why not go as far as he possibly can?
Matt
And the beauty of it is they may discover something in this entire process.
Zayn
Even if it's a little.
Matt
Could be the key to our longevity that we do not realize that we.
Zayn
Okay, he looks. He looks a little scary. But if it works, are we.
Heath
Are we for it?
Jordan
Yeah.
Matt
Like, yes.
Heath
If there was something to, like, live to, like, 200, 300.
Zayn
I don't know. I don't think I want to let.
Heath
No either.
Jordan
Do I look three in 200?
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
Oh, then no, no, no, no, guys, even.
Zayn
Even if you looked, it didn't look 200. 300. Would you want to live that long?
Matt
Like, think about how over you'd be like, 200, 200. I feel like I could still kind of entertain myself. I would love my wife to still be with me, you know, I want Patricia around. I couldn't imagine life without her.
Heath
Matt, you've already started knitting way too ahead.
Zayn
You got to like, looking at older people now, like. Like, 80s, 90. They are. They are. They are just. They're tired. They're done. Like, they don't want to be here anymore.
Matt
Yeah.
Zayn
You know how many times I'm looking at someone, they're just, like, ready to go.
Matt
I also hope you have enough money to get you to, like, stay alive for that long, because, like, eventually I feel like your money would, like, all run out by the time you're, like, 200. I think we prepare for, like, retirement a couple decades now. They're like, oh, no, you got to save for 400.
Heath
1Ks already ran.
Matt
They're just like, grandpa. I think we need to consider some options here.
Zayn
Oh, boy. Intro, intro, intro, intro, intro. It's coffee to baby. Let's go. Thank you, Jordan. Oh, stir fry, stir fry, stir fry.
Heath
Oh, give it you ag.
Zayn
Oh, yes.
Matt
The.
Zayn
The sodium in the. In the soy sauce. Yeah.
Heath
At all.
Zayn
I don't eat a lot of that. Welcome back to Zan and Heath unfiltered. I'm Zayn.
Heath
I'm Heath.
Matt
I'm Matt.
Jordan
I'm Jordan.
Zayn
Sorry, it's Jordan's first time.
Jordan
Zane, you're doing the Dr. Experiment, but for vaping.
Zayn
Oh, yeah. Thank you.
Jordan
Jordan, you're gonna let us know?
Zayn
Thank you. Yes, I will. I will. The. Oh, my God. The tests are gonna come when I'm. When I'm 65. I be like, guys, it's. It kills you.
Heath
The rumors are true.
Zayn
So if you guys are wondering if the vapes are bad for you. It is my lungs. I. I'm just so far into IT guy. If you guys have like any sort.
Matt
Of remedies or what?
Zayn
Wait, no, I just. This was my. So this. I mean, this is. I don't know if this is like a weird take. I don't know. But my. My. My friend that trains me every day, he like, he gets so sick of seeing me vape and I'm like, I.
Heath
That's because he's doing bench press with it.
Zayn
No, no, no, no. I'm not. I'm not doing that while I work. He just. He just knows that I do it. I'll do it after I'm done. And he's just like, what will it take for you to quit? I was like, jack, dude. It really comes down to. I just. I'm like a dog, right? Like, I need to be rewarded for my. And it's not like the reward of health. It's not like I need. I need a reward. Like it's.
Matt
Yeah.
Zayn
Why this is so such a bad take. Why am I gonna quit something and it's gonna cost. So many issues like my panic attacks coming back and I'm gonna start eating bad. But. And the reward just doesn't come until so much longer. Like I need a reward.
Heath
Laid gratification.
Matt
It's. I know, but I know.
Zayn
I don't know.
Matt
It is hardwired itself.
Zayn
I know.
Matt
So used to it. And it's considers like it's not worth like suffering.
Zayn
I know. You know, I'm sure a lot of. A lot of people that are vaping right now have the same issues. Like there's just no reward.
Matt
Well, do you think so delayed, you think you could still just rely on nicotine but just not consuming it via vape?
Zayn
No, because I've tried like the Zen. So like I. I've tried that and I don't. I don't like it. It's disgusting.
Matt
Yeah. I don't like the consistency of just like having it in your mouth.
Heath
You could do like lozenges. You could do the patch.
Zayn
I. It doesn't. It doesn't. It doesn't work because it's. It's the. It's the.
Matt
Yeah, it's the.
Heath
You like the hand to mouth.
Zayn
Yes.
Matt
Hand to mouth ritual?
Zayn
The ritual of it. And I know it's bad for everybody listening if you have like are thinking about starting to.
Heath
Or a loved one.
Zayn
Just don't. Just don't do. It's not worth it. It's awesome, but it's not worth it.
Matt
And it's not worth. Not worth the money. It's not worth the money.
Zayn
It's not worth the money at all. You're spending thousands of dollars, thousands of dollars a year just to kill you slowly. If you want to resort to something else that's gonna, like, be bad for you, like alcohol, do that because you're not doing it every day. You're doing it here and there, on weekends, socially.
Matt
I just wish everybody had to quit. Like, yes, that's also illegal when you're trying to quit something. But then everyone around you gets to do it. It's. Ah, yeah. It drives you.
Heath
I know, I know. It's free will, right?
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Have your option to do it. But if everybody agrees it's bad and knows it as you're hitting it, cut it. If everybody agrees it's bad and they know that, then why don't they just stop he.
Zayn
Because. Because this is why I know.
Heath
The money.
Zayn
Because not. No, no, it's not that. Because not only vapes are bad. Everything is bad. Think about any. Everything that is has something bad in it. Then if you're banning that too, then we're not gonna have anything to buy at the stores because everything has something bad in it.
Heath
And that's why I want to be Amish.
Matt
Right? Yeah.
Zayn
Turn your own butter.
Matt
I respect Amish so much. I just wish they picked a different time period to commit their whole lifestyle too.
Jordan
Which one do you want them?
Matt
I just don't want to be, like, primitive 1800s, like having, like, knit my own clothes.
Zayn
I just he bad again. You're almost there, but you're doing it.
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Zayn
You're making your baby's first blanket. You're. You're almost there.
Heath
I don't want to have.
Matt
I just don't want to wear a straw hat. Maybe that's it.
Zayn
Maybe that or imagine having to, like.
Matt
Turn my own butter or.
Zayn
No, they don't use electricity. Right. That's Amish. They don't use Amish.
Matt
Mennonites. There's a lot of different, like, sex.
Heath
What would get me is you see them driving. Like when I go to Tennessee to, like, where my parents live. You see them on the highway in their horse and carriage, and you're just blowing by them. I don't think I could handle sitting here and just seeing the cars go by. And it takes me five hours to ride somewhere.
Zayn
You don't know how they feel about five minutes. Maybe they're just, like, disgusted.
Heath
Like, to me, like, if I saw a Porsche go by, I'd be like, God, yeah.
Jordan
But they're. They got. They're drinking and Driving. I mean, that thing's legal. Drinking on that horse.
Heath
No, no, you can. You can get a DUI doing that on the carriage. Yes, you can.
Matt
But they can just refuse to blow and just be like, against my religion.
Zayn
Like, that's.
Matt
I don't want to have that tech device all up in my.
Heath
Good point.
Matt
You can refuse to blow. Right. You can refuse to blow. Then why do people blow? Is because they're so drunk, they don't know.
Zayn
They don't know that they, like, can wait till they go to.
Matt
The thing is about refusing to blow is that even you. They'll take you to jail.
Zayn
It is. But if you are so confident that you can. By the time you get to the station that you'll be sober enough where you can blow.
Matt
So you have to blow at the station.
Zayn
Yes, you have.
Heath
Like, it. It buys you time.
Matt
Pretty much.
Jordan
You have to blow at the station.
Zayn
Yeah, yeah. Once you're. Once you're taken in. Because, like, again, it's in that car.
Jordan
I'm just.
Zayn
And it's great. A lot. It's funny because a lot of people do mouthwash. It's like, the worst thing to do.
Heath
Mouthwash actually spikes.
Matt
It spikes it up even more alcohol in mouth. And then there's a whole trick, and it was on mythbusters. Oh, you put pennies under your tongue or whatever. That's like, a way of, like, messing with the.
Heath
I thought that was for lie detectors.
Matt
No, I'm pretty sure it's.
Heath
I thought pennies under the tongue was for a lie detector.
Zayn
Oh, I used to suck. I used to suck.
Jordan
Telling people to put pennies in their mouth.
Matt
I'm pretty sure on Mythbusters they all got drunk and they did every little trick in the book. Interesting to see how to reduce your. I do think breathalyzers are really fun to have, like, at a party.
Zayn
Oh, I see. Oh, I see him a lot lately.
Matt
I get really excited at a party if someone has. I'm like, I. I gotta see.
Zayn
I want to see how dark I am.
Matt
I gotta see. That's pretty fun. Because there's, like, It's. The expensive Breathalyzers are worth it. The cheap ones. I don't think they're that accurate.
Heath

Matt
Speaking of, like, police and stuff. Wait, did I say this already? I think I said on good influences. I got pulled over.
Zayn
You got pulled over?
Matt
Wait, when I got pulled over last.
Jordan
Week, did you get out of it?
Matt
No, I gotta take it for speeding. No, not speeding. At an intersection, right on, like, Citrus and Fountain or somewhere or Citrus and Highland. I don't know the intersections. I'm just sitting there and I think I was listening to npr. Checked out on my phone because I was trying to see what topic they were talking about. Had my phone out, and then I look over to my right really fast and this hand goes down. And then at first I was like, is that. Was that a photographer? Like, on a. On a motorcycle? Like. Or was it like a documentary? Just, like someone filming me.
Heath
And then Matt thinks his life's a movie, right? Who's filming me?
Matt
I was like, paparazzi.
Zayn
It was on. I was on a motorcycle.
Matt
It happened very fast. And Then I realized, oh, my gosh. Yeah, it was a guy on a motorcycle. And then I'm like, I was on my phone. And then the light goes green. I go under it, the lights turn on, you know, and I go, it's a copy. I was on my phone. And so I think. I don't know if he, like, took off his body cam and took a picture. It almost looked like he took off his, like, walkie talkie and took a picture. Oh.
Zayn
You know, because a lot of people could fight it, and I'm sure they win all the time.
Matt
So if he takes me probably red handed.
Zayn
You know, he was sick of it too, because he probably always gives tickets and he always gets. They always win.
Matt
And so I go under the light, and then I'm like, okay, well, I'm gonna go to this, like, parking zone area. And then he's on his, you know, speaker going, no, continue to the next street, take a right. And you feel like you are just a complete degenerate.
Heath
The anxiety of not knowing where to pull over, when to pull over, when they're. When a cops behind you.
Zayn
Because you feel like you're about to get another ticket.
Matt
Yes.
Zayn
If you do, like, a wrong move, he's like, oh, that's another ticket.
Matt
Oh, yeah. Because right when he pulled me up, I tried to go right into the gas station. He was like, no, continue past the intersection. And then I pass the intersection, like, go into a parking space and they think you're running.
Zayn
Yeah, right. That's the only. That's my biggest fear.
Matt
Yes. And then I look back and he's like, shaking his head and like.
Heath
And then they walk up. What took you so long to pull over?
Zayn
I'm just. I just don't want to get in trouble again.
Matt
So then I. And then I make a right turn, and now I'm in front of, like, an elementary school, and, you know, it's like a loading zone, but it's like midday. I'm like, okay, I can park here.
Zayn
Matt's like, hey, can we just go a little bit off? My fans.
Heath
I don't want them. Matt's like, I'm actually not allowed to be to a school.
Zayn
Imagine he stops and he's like, oh.
Matt
On your record, Double ticket.
Zayn
That's. That's good.
Matt
So I pull over, and then, you know, and then you're sitting there and you're like, okay, wait, am I. Do you got to put your hands on, you know, the wheel, show that they're there? And then you, like, you know, there's Those, like. No, you're right. You don't have to roll your window down all the way. There's all those, like, little hacks. I'm like. I'm just rolling it down all the way just to respect the officer. And he. He didn't even, like. And that's a big thing when you get pulled over is when a cop asks you the question, do you know why I pulled you over? Yeah. You always say no.
Zayn
Yeah.
Heath
Oh, I always say yes.
Zayn
Oh, no.
Matt
And then they ask why? And then you tell them why you think 100.
Zayn
Oh, really? No. No. Because what if it's something else and then you just add it on and.
Matt
That'S gonna be like, is it my tail light? They go, no, no. But now that your tail lights out, that's another thing.
Zayn
Yeah.
Heath
Most of the time. I don't know. I've talked to a lot of cops and.
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Zayn
Oh, yeah.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
I do have a few cop friends. It's basically a loaded question to see if you're just gonna be real with them. Like, if you're speeding, obviously you know you're speeding. It's. It's a test to be like, okay.
Matt
It's a test of honesty.
Heath
Yes.
Matt
Okay, good approach.
Zayn
They said that it's a test of honesty when they basically, like, if you.
Heath
Go, I have no idea. Like, like, okay, this guy's in. Like, you know what I mean? But I feel like I was speeding. Yes, I know. I'm sorry about that. Whatever.
Zayn
He wasn't working. He's like, how fast were you going?
Jordan
Yeah, I. I do see both. I got pulled over on my way to the airport with, like, 40 minutes to spare from the airport, and I had no idea why I was being pulled over.
Zayn
Your headlights weren't on? It was at night.
Jordan
No, he told me I got into an entrance lane on the highway.
Matt
Oh, I don't know.
Heath
He told me I was going the wrong way.
Zayn
Are you saying you went on the exit?
Jordan
I. I was freaking out because I was not going to make this flight. Like, there was no way. I had both of my phones. One of them to the airport, one of them to Leah's house, to Uber to the airport. All of them were 20 minutes after the flight is boarding. And I'm like, not even parking or anything. So the cop comes to the window. I just showed him both phones. I said, I don't know what I. I don't know what I did. I said, I don't know what I did, but I'm about to miss my flight and miss Christmas. And I'm like, having a real. Like, this is horrible. And he went back to the car and he came. He said, just drive a little bit more careful. You're free to go.
Zayn
Oh, bad. That's nice.
Matt
Well, wish I had that guy. Guy comes up and he doesn't even ask me a question. He goes, you were on your phone. Well, maybe he did kind of do it. A bit of inflection. He just. It was felt more like.
Zayn
Because he has a picture of you.
Matt
Right. And I'm not gonna challenge that.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
So I'm just like, yup, yes, officer. He goes, okay, license, registration, and. And then that's what I'm like, I'm going to be reaching over to the glove box. You know, that's such a big thing. It's just movements.
Zayn
Yeah, it's just.
Matt
I was just like, I'm reaching over and then, you know, I get my license. And then, you know, your registration. Your registration to registration stickers, Right? There's rarely, I guess there is like a registration document, but I'm like, where the is my registration document? I have a receipt of registration stickers that I bought two or three years ago, but my stickers are current, so I have like a receipt and I go, this is a receipt, but my registration stickers are on my card. He goes, it's fine. I can look it up. I just want to make sure.
Heath
You want to try to give it to them as quickly as possible. So, you know, hurry, hurry, hurry. So license and registry. You want to try to just let them know you're not there to waste their time.
Matt
Also, this police officer had the strangest mustache I had ever seen. You know guys who do, like, wax tips?
Heath
Yeah, I've done it before.
Matt
There's like 10 of them.
Heath
No, he curled.
Matt
He curled every little bit of his mustache. I was like. It felt like he was out of like a video game or like BioShock.
Zayn
He made a tip for every part of the.
Matt
It was like an insane amount of curls on this mustache. I could. I. It was just.
Zayn
Did it look good?
Matt
It looked quirky.
Zayn
Okay. Like, it did it, like indie.
Matt
It looked like steampunky. Like, I don't know.
Zayn
I can't. Like, I can't even imagine.
Matt
Like, he. I don't know, was like a really cool barista or something.
Zayn
Did you compliment his mustache?
Matt
No, I did not.
Zayn
Well, you sort of mustache where if.
Matt
You gave a compliment to it, the person could take it as like, you think it's a funny it was that bad. Yeah, it was like no.
Heath
Nice mustache.
Zayn
Yeah, right.
Matt
If he had the really cool. Just the standard wax tip, but it was like, really big, I'd be like, whoa, cool mustache. But this one was like, I don't know what it was.
Zayn
And you see, the thing is that, Matt, you're really high. You're really bad at hiding your emotion or like, in this situation. So I'm sure he did see you react to his mustache.
Matt
You're looking.
Heath
You're looking at it the whole time instead of his eyes.
Matt
I definitely did. Now looking back on it. So. Also a weird thing. While we were pulled over, I'm here, music is blasting, but I'm thinking, oh, they're the neighborhood. And it was like, you know, like Mexican music. And I thought, like, okay, there's like some workers nearby who are just jamming out, working on a property.
Zayn
Okay.
Matt
A bit blasting. Like, I can hardly hear the guy when he's like, talking to me. And then this woman walks out of, like, the school and she goes to the police officer, she's like, is that your music you're playing? And he's like, yeah, it is. She goes, oh, I love it. And then looked at me was like.
Zayn
Wait, while the cop was next cop.
Matt
And then. So the whole time, then I'm like, wait, that's your music not saying out loud. Yeah, but I couldn't believe that a police officer would pull me over and blast his own music. The whole time he's talking.
Zayn
Also that that was his music.
Matt
That his music on his motorcycle blasting it out. I wouldn't do that to you. Like, obviously you'd be like, turn your music down. What are you thinking? It was just. It felt very like. Like, why are you doing this, guy?
Zayn
I've never heard that, like, where they would have their blasting like that.
Matt
Yeah. And I'm like, you're documenting the whole, like, thing going down. I feel like that would just be something just like, safety wise. You should be able to hear the entire situation going down with the person that you're pulling over. Because I could. I don't. I could say something crazy. Do something crazy while he's at his bike.
Zayn
Yeah, yeah.
Jordan
But seeing you, wanting to give you a ticket, I'm putting up my song up a little on the radio. Just a little bit up.
Zayn
And then because you feel like you're in a movie.
Heath
Also imagine, though, the pressure of being a motorcyclist and you can't hear your music, typically when you're riding. So you have to blast it. Imagine everybody, like, the pressure of picking the right Song.
Zayn
I would never blast my music because.
Heath
You have to be bumping it, and it can't be like.
Matt
Like Hillary Dunn.
Zayn
That's funny.
Matt
I don't know what I would even play. But yeah. So he gave me the ticket, and I got the ticket.
Heath
How much was it?
Matt
I don't know yet. I don't know. Because, you know, when they give you the ticket, they're like, you're gonna get, like, the more official one in the mail. If you want to protest it, you got to go to this website and basically you're just agreeing that you have to act on it within these next 30 days.
Heath
Okay.
Matt
And I went to the website because I was like, I got to see this picture of me.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
And it's like, I have to check in, like, 30 minutes.
Zayn
They post that. I thought he only would post that. I hope I get access to the.
Matt
Picture, I guess I think. Oh, when you get, like, speeding tickets, or not speeding tickets, but maybe ones where you run a red light or you go under a toll, if you.
Zayn
Like, search or take it up, the picture will, like, pop up like you were on your phone. It's you.
Matt
I feel like they should upload the picture. Not for everyone else, for my own. You need closure.
Zayn
Or Matt. Or, like, a gif. Imagine you're speeding. The gif of you spe.
Matt
Or me. Just, like. It's like it's a live photo. Like, I press down on it.
Zayn
They need that. Every ticket needs to have some sort of proof or the ticket does not exist.
Matt
Right.
Zayn
The ticket should not be.
Matt
Show me the proof.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
Then there's the whole body camera. Like, I can watch the whole interaction go down. The guest officer, me, just, like, glancing at his mustache.
Zayn
I imagine Matt, like, after he gets stopped, we're like. While the cops going back, he. He just puts it in gas and goes.
Heath
Goes.
Zayn
And it just stops just to scare him. Oh, I was there.
Heath
Look.
Zayn
So what kind of ticket is that? Like pranking cop.
Matt
Provoking an officer.
Zayn
Oh, is that provoking?
Matt
That sounds like a law.
Zayn
Like, what would the ticket say? Provoking an officer?
Matt
Yeah, I think so.
Jordan
Disrupting the peace, maybe.
Matt
Disrupting.
Zayn
Disrupting the peace.
Heath

Heath
Money, for sponsoring this podcast. We love you. You know what I think was disrupting the piece?
Zayn
The music. The Blossom music.
Heath
The outfit that Kanye's girlfriend wore to.
Matt
The graves last night. Oh, my God. She might be facing jail time. You would have to because there's children there. Hair. That is.
Heath
Yes, it's in decent exposure.
Matt
Yeah, that. It was straight up indecent exposure. I was shocked.
Heath
That was crazy.
Zayn
Did she blur that? Or like that was. Or did like.
Matt
I've seen the uncensored version.
Zayn
So you saw everything?
Matt
Yes, I. She may have had like two panties on, but those were definitely see through. As well.
Zayn
That I. That's just a. That was a crazy call.
Matt
I don't know if she was walking in that all night. If it was just like a.
Zayn
No, no.
Matt
She wore the fur coat.
Zayn
She.
Matt
She wore fur coat to the. And then they stood there, and then she dropped it.
Zayn
Yeah. So I looked it up. They. So I think Kanye was not. I think one of the. Something that was nominated for a Grammy, he was a part of. So he was invited to the Grammys. So he didn't want to. He didn't want to watch the show. All he wanted to do was go walk the carpet. So he walked the carpet and then I think she took it off for one, like, little round, and then they.
Heath
Both left him standing there.
Matt
It looks bizarre.
Zayn
Yeah, that was what. And you know, that was like. That was his idea too, of course. Like, you could tell that was his idea.
Matt
I want you to go naked and I want you to wear this, and I want you to drop it to make it, like.
Zayn
But what's the statement?
Jordan
It's his album cover from his last.
Matt
Is it really?
Zayn
Oh, is it?
Jordan
That's his album cover there.
Matt
Did. Now that shot of them on the red carpet is going to be the album cover.
Jordan
It was a recreation of his album cover. So he went to the Grammys to recreate his album cover. Because his album cover is. Is his wife in that outfit turned around?
Matt
Everybody's so creative.
Zayn
Is that his. Is that his wife right now?
Matt
His girlfriend.
Zayn
His girlfriend.
Jordan
His girlfriend. So it's his girlfriend with her ass in front of the camera.
Zayn
Just. Just the collective. Oh, when she takes off her jacket, like, the. When they're on the carpet, did you hear the collective like, oh, there's people.
Heath
Murmuring, oh, my God.
Zayn
Oh, then no one's. No one was expecting her to be, like, 99 naked.
Matt
Yeah.
Zayn
And, you know, there's outfits where, like, it shows, like. Like quite a bit, but, like, you're at least covering the, you know, the importance.
Matt
Remember, it was such a big deal when Marilyn Manson's like, girlfriend wore a see through top to, like, the VMA's in, like, the 2000s. You remember that? But that was like a see through top, but, like, not the full body.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
This was the most aggressive I think I'd ever seen.
Zayn
You know what? Maybe they wanted to go that far. They were like, we. This has never been done before. We're gonna. We're gonna make people talk. You know how that publicity is still publicity.
Jordan
If it was me, would you guys all be still talking about it?
Zayn
You'd be in jail.
Heath
No, seriously, like, imagine. Imagine.
Zayn
Imagine me like, full.
Heath
Garth Brooks walks out.
Matt
Just full jail time.
Zayn
Oh, my God. Put me in jail, girth, bro. Oh, my God.
Jordan
I like this new fashion trend. I hope it catches on.
Zayn
But imagine it was her and Kanye both. Like, he also did like the. The new.
Matt
Then it may would have become art. Like, I don't know.
Zayn
I think I would have.
Matt
I think if. If you're making your girl go full nude, then you got to do it, too.
Zayn
Yeah, I agree. Yeah, you got to do it, too. Oh, he. Oh, my God. Everybody would pay a lot of money to see that. Imagine the dude on the carpet like that.
Matt
Oh, man.
Jordan
That's how that history should have been.
Zayn
That's what we want to see.
Matt
Did you watch the rest of the Grammys?
Heath
Watch any of it?
Zayn
I. I was very late to. I didn't watch it live, but I was just, you know, it's. It's the same. It's the same every year, you know.
Matt
Like, what year's was better?
Heath
Did your picks win?
Matt
No. And I even put money on a pick. I bet. So I was thinking Chapel roan was going to win best new artist. And remember that Kalshi app that we talked about a couple.
Zayn
I thought she did get a best new artist. No, Chapel, run.
Matt
Oh, wait, she. You're right.
Zayn
She did get best new artists.
Matt
Sorry, my brain. It is slow today. Yeah, that one made best new artist. And I was like, she's gonna win. And then last night or two nights ago on Saturday night, I was, like, drunk out partying with people, and this girl was like, no, Sabrina Carpenter is gonna win it. And the bet on Sabrina Carpenter was you bet a hundred dollars, you'd win, like, $400.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
I had just been talking to people who I knew were in the academy, and they had mentioned that they were to probably vote for Sabrina Carpenter because once again, there's a lot of people.
Zayn
In the one out of the 13,000 that they say. They kept saying.
Matt
But I was like, okay, but I kind of like that person's opinion. So maybe it is this. And then I was like, you know what? It's a good bet. Let's do it. Me and the girl, we split it 50. $50.
Zayn
And I would have put my money on Chapel Roan, and.
Matt
But Chapel Roan, you bet a hundred dollars, you would have won 30.
Zayn
Yeah, but you. But like, she is. She is like, new art. Like, Sabrina. Sabrina's like, not.
Matt
I know I wanted Chapel to win. That's my whole thing is, like, I would rather see Chapel win and me be happy that, hey, you win, you win both ways. The way I did, it was like I paid $50 for chop to see Chapel win. Competitor gets you, though.
Heath
That way, you're not disappointed.
Matt
Right.
Heath
If you win the money, you're excited, and then if she wins, you're excited.
Matt
Yes.
Zayn
Yeah, that makes sense.
Matt
And.
Jordan
But that would be like my mom betting on my opponent at our karate competition, being like, I was so proud of you.
Zayn
But if you're. If you're expected to win. If you're expected to win, we're rooting for you.
Heath
No, you're not.
Jordan
No, you're not weird.
Matt
But. Yeah, but it was there, that app, though. I was like, damn, there were some.
Zayn
Oh, wait, is that the app that.
Matt
Yeah. Which is still dangerous. Do not gamble. Gamble responsibly. Which I rarely do. And I. It was just. I thought you're having.
Zayn
You're mad. I don't. You're having fun.
Matt
I did. Yeah.
Zayn
It's all right. And you only. I feel like you only do this, like, with, like, award shows.
Matt
Correct.
Zayn
It's not like you're doing it every time something pops up on your phone.
Matt
Like, oh, it's the only time I think I've ever bet on an award show ever. But I do love looking at, making predictions for.
Zayn
Yeah, because. Because you love this. You. Like, this is your world.
Matt
It's fun to be a critic.
Zayn
Normally, Oscars come very soon after the Grammys.
Matt
Right.
Zayn
That's how usually. Timeline.
Matt
Yes, I think so. I think it kind of changed. Oscars are, I feel like, are not until March. Jordan, look up when they're not until March.
Heath
Who is Oscar?
Matt
Who is Oscar? I think Oscar's an acronym. Wait, what is?
Zayn
Oh, it is. I think it is Oscar the statuette.
Matt
The Academy Award statuette nickname Oscar is Three possible sources.
Zayn
The nickname Oscar for the statue statuette gained popularity after Margaret Herrick, the executive director of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and scientists said the statue resembled her uncle Oscar.
Matt
Oh, wow. I never knew that. I just always.
Zayn
Her uncle. Her uncle Oscar just drunk one night.
Matt
This looks like my uncle.
Zayn
And somebody. Somebody high up heard that. They're like, you know what?
Matt
It went viral the next day. Like, we're calling it the Oscars because it's the Academy Awards.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
And they give away Oscars.
Zayn
Yeah. But the term Oscar didn't come on till the lady nicknamed it.
Matt
Well, shout out to Uncle Oscar.
Jordan
Uncle Ozzy. Un. He got it.
Matt
That's why.
Jordan
Uncle.
Zayn
And then where did Grammy come? Graham the gram. Like the gram gram.
Heath
When you're. When your grammy thinks your song is really good.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
It has to be something Grammy.
Heath
Is it good enough for my Grammy.
Matt
Because it's a gramophone?
Heath
Ah, probably.
Matt
Probably.
Heath
I knew that.
Zayn
I was testing you guys.
Matt
What did you really? I didn't even know that until I just started thinking about.
Heath
Did you know the. The term put a sock in it?
Matt
What is that from?
Heath
It's for when you couldn't adjust the volume on a gramophone. So you would say put a sock in it to quiet it down and you would stuff it down into that big front of the.
Jordan
How do you think those are going to stay for a long time? Like put a sock in. Yeah, we're just going to stop using it, though.
Zayn
Timeless. Yeah. This is going to keep going forever. Yeah.
Heath
Well, I don't really hear people saying, don't throw the baby out with the bath water anymore.
Matt
I never get that phrase. People say it all the time. I struggle with it. What does that mean?
Heath
The order in which you would wash in a household. You would have the bathtub.
Matt
Okay.
Heath
So you would. The adults would go. And then it would. You would keep. Keep taking the bath in the same water until the last one would be the baby. And it would just get dirtier and dirtier.
Matt
We should start with the baby first.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
The baby deserves the cleanest water.
Zayn
Exactly.
Heath
And then at the very end, after everybody's done taking their bath, you throw the water out. So don't throw the baby out with the bath water because the baby was the last one to take.
Matt
And that just caught on and it.
Zayn
Was like, that makes no sense.
Matt
What a phrase. Love it. Don't go the baby out with the bad one.
Heath
It's probably something funny back then that.
Zayn
They were like, yeah, when pigs fly. That one, I think.
Heath
No, but there was. There was a time when pigs used to fly. So.
Matt
Shut the.
Zayn
When you throw bacon. Bacon strips.
Matt
Right when that was good, I was like, yeah.
Zayn
What y'all heifers doing for super bowl?
Matt
Super bowl.
Heath
God. It's this weekend.
Matt
It's this weekend. Oh, boy. I don't know. I don't know what I'm gonna do.
Zayn
Yeah, I'll be on the field. I'm actually doing interviews.
Matt
Okay, get. Shut up. Where is it?
Zayn
I'm interviewing the. The teams.
Heath
Who's playing?
Zayn
I don't know. Yeah, I gotta look at the brief.
Matt
It's the eagles and the chiefs. Zane, thank you. Oh, my God. But where is it?
Zayn
It's the sofire, so. No, no, it's in New Orleans. New Orleans. So I'm gonna fly there this weekend.
Matt
Super Bowl L I X. Right.
Heath
He's talking out of his assay.
Jordan
I know Z is lying.
Matt
I wanted to be happy for you.
Zayn
Thank you.
Matt
I was just like, good luck. Good luck.
Zayn
I think, think, I think throw me on the carpet and see what happens. I'm, I'd be the worst.
Matt
Is there a red carpet?
Heath
No, no, no, no.
Zayn
I'm not talking about the Super Bowl. I'm just talking about in general. Like I think a company should just throw me on the carb and be like, zayn. Attempt to interview these high profile celebrities.
Matt
I would, I would love if it was. I could ask them just the same question. Every celebrity that came by and that's what was like interesting about like I could have solid. How are you doing tonight? I know, it's amazing, right? So you just came out of this film. First up, what are we wearing?
Heath
What are you.
Zayn
What's, what's the best. What was your most favorite part about filming this movie?
Matt
Sure. Yeah, I, I could never do what Liza did for like Vogue or like Emma Chamberlain. I could, yeah, I would love to do letterbox, letterbox. Top four. Ask people what their top four movies are. Could do that all day. Love that. That would be my dream job.
Zayn
But I feel like a lot of them need those because how can you think of four movies on the spot like that?
Matt
Most of the time they're kind of prepped by their publicist.
Zayn
Oh like they know. Oh like they're, they know this. Like the same questions that were they answer.
Matt
Sometimes you can tell that their publicist prepped them on the limo right over saying, you're going to say hi to E. Where the hell is my prep? The movie? Like, yeah, oh yeah. Do you have.
Zayn
Where's my prep? Why, why don't I get prepped ever?
Heath
We can't even get the questions ahead of time.
Matt
I hate getting interviewed like on a red carpet.
Zayn
I'll avoid it. I am running. I can running.
Matt
Oh gosh. Terrifies me. Cuz there just a clip of you out there and you know they're not answering a question you didn't even fully listen to.
Zayn
You know they're not cutting it to your stand standard. Do you remember that you don't get.
Matt
The clip with you and Alex James one time, this was years ago, like 10 years ago and someone goes like. And they were asking you questions and me and Alex James are sitting right behind you and they go and where can we find you on Vine? You Go. Okay. You go to the app store, you. You type in vine. And then once you open up.
Zayn
Yeah, I went.
Matt
You go to a search bar and you just type my name Zane and. And Heath.
Zayn
It wasn't as idiotic, but it was. It was close. It was.
Matt
I look at each other like, he is not giving them a step by step on how to download the app. We were like, what are you saying?
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
That was for your name.
Zayn
The thing is that the question was.
Matt
Asked weirdly, I think you weren't listening to. You took it very literally.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
And I think she may have, like, sounded like, where do I even start with it? It was something like that.
Zayn
It was, it was. It was asked in a Weir.
Matt
Answer.
Jordan
In a weird way.
Matt
And y'all. For a lot of people who don't know red carpets, how they go, usually everybody who's on the red carpet, usually, unless you are a massive celebrity, they don't. They do not know who you are.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
And the way that they know who you are is the person who's running the red carpet has a bunch of pieces of paper with everyone's name on it.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
And then they go and show that to all the photographers and the interviewers before. Or you talk to them what your name is.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
And a lot of times they're just like, maybe they have a clipboard too where it's like, Zayn Hijazi, social media influencer.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
And they're just gonna give you some, but they don't really know you.
Zayn
Nobody knows.
Matt
Then it's like, why do I want to go up to talk to somebody who doesn't even know who I am? Not saying that they should.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
It's just humiliating, like, to like, try to fight for relevancy. And there's a lot of people who just want to be interviewed.
Zayn
I also just don't think it's. It like works anymore. I think you're better off just posting a damn tick tock.
Matt
Yeah.
Zayn
Like, if you really want eyes to be seen on you, just post a tick tock instead of going up to like, one of the interviewers.
Matt
I think red carpets is like their big, like, publicity.
Zayn
It's crazy. It's not.
Matt
People will do whatever they can just to show up at events like that and think that this is like peak fame.
Zayn
The only reason why celebrities are like, these artists are doing is because, like, they're doing it for the, like for the event.
Matt
It's.
Zayn
It's like they need to do it.
Heath
It.
Matt
They're getting paid.
Zayn
But if they didn't want. If they. If they didn't have to do it, they wouldn't be doing it.
Matt
That's where I really. I would still love to go to the Grammys. I would love to go the Oscars, but I would. I would feel just instant impostor syndrome being there for a night celebrating other people that don't do what I do.
Heath
I don't, like, do it. Like, anytime I've done a red carpet, I feel super uncomfortable because it's for, like, a big show or a movie or somebody where, like, the actual actors are walking it.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
And then you're walking it, and it's like. Like, I am not them.
Matt
Right.
Heath
I'm. I don't. I'm not supposed to be.
Matt
This isn't my night. I am a guest in this event, but I am not for then me to be. Yeah.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
But also gladly.
Zayn
Yeah. Unless you're getting. Unless you're getting a job to, like, like, be with a brand. To, like, either, like, interview people, ask questions or make content, like, at the. On the carpet, like, with a brand that, like, makes sense.
Matt
And you will always get the worst picture of you in your entire life.
Zayn
At a red carpet every single time.
Matt
Props to some celebs who slay on red carpets. I could. Could never be me. There have been times I'm with Patricia. I'm like, does my hair look good? She's like, yeah, we're fine. Like, great. Take it. Look up getty images the next day. You're like, God.
Zayn
I just think red carpet, like, pictures are for just, like, women. Like, they're not for guys. Like, guys. They just. We just suck at pictures.
Heath
Like, seen our red carpet pictures.
Zayn
It's just not.
Heath
Type in Xander Heath, red carpet.
Zayn
Oh, God.
Heath
You'll have the worst thing in the world.
Zayn
Terrible. And just any. Any record. Just, like, no. Go to Getty Images and type in and you will. Will have a click the red Great time. What? Like, what? That one is crazy.
Jordan
That one is insane. He. This looks great.
Zayn
Yeah. Heath, you with all the fans.
Matt
That looks pretty badass. Your kids will think that. They will think you were a famous. Like.
Jordan
What was my dad.
Zayn
That shirt is. I. But we. I. We got to talk about this. That. Those outfits every year.
Jordan
Oh, my God.
Zayn
It's so funny. So funny.
Jordan
I think you guys need to go.
Zayn
We were hammered at that one. Remember? We were downing a bottle of smart.
Matt
Whose legs.
Zayn
Legs are huge.
Matt
That looks like what?
Heath
It looks like the Halloween costume where you hold.
Matt
You hold yourself, you know?
Zayn
You know, we thought we were fun to an. Everybody else was just like, who are these?
Jordan
Everyone else was on the red carpet. You were on grandma's carpet. Grand.
Matt
Grand's carpet. Oh, boy.
Zayn
He. That one. We got paid a little to go to that too.
Matt
Did we?
Zayn
I think so.
Jordan
You had to get paid to take a photo a little bit, but I.
Zayn
Don'T think we ever got paid. That was one of the jobs where they were like, all right, we're going to pay. They. We just never got paid.
Matt
Never followed up.
Zayn

Matt
Oh, this is kind of sad news, but I feel like we should touch on it. But like we don't have to break it apart too much. But obviously that very tragic plane collision happened in D.C. matt, I, I feel.
Zayn
Like got over my fear of like flying in the past like few months. Like I'm really like, I'm learning to just like really love flying like or just like not freak out too much. And it's crazy that this past month, like since the start of this year there's been already like four plane crashes and normally we get like eight for the entire year.
Matt
Yeah, right.
Zayn
And like the like the aviation data shows that like it's like one out.
Matt
Of 2 million that you see one since 2009. Yeah. For the I think the United States.
Zayn
Yes.
Matt
States.
Zayn
What is going. Is it just because it's right. They're just showing all them. Because it's like it's like trend. Not like trending but like they're just showing every single one.
Heath
No, it's just happening.
Zayn
It's just happen what it like but what's going on though? Like how is this all happening in the span of I don't know, a month?
Matt
I. I don't want to conspiracy and like I'm not, I'm not conspiracizing. I'm just like connection to it.
Zayn
What the hell is going on?
Matt
No, it's incredibly tragic and especially. Yeah the collision that happened happened too. This was really wild. So Patricia, she went to the Bahamas the weekend right before this past weekend. Okay. And she was there for a girl's 30th birthday trip and a bunch of the girls were going to fly from Birmingham to get down to the Bahamas, but last minute their flight got canceled the night before. They had to then go to Huntsville, Alabama and fly out of there. Go from Huntsville to Charlotte, from Charlotte to the Bahamas.
Zayn
Oh my God.
Matt
And a bunch of people who were on that original flight had to to do that similar move to them. And they were on that flight which was a pretty hectic flight for all these people who had to get on it last Minute. But when they finally got home, they were raving. Or when they finally got to the Bahamas, they were like. It was so hectic. But we got here, we had the best pilot from Huntsville to Charlotte. He was so communicative with all of us, and he, like, said goodbye to everybody, all of us. It phenomenal pilot.
Zayn
Okay.
Matt
This happens in D.C. they see the pictures go up of the pilots. That was their pilot.
Zayn
No way.
Matt
Jonathan Campos, who was one of the pilots on it, was Patricia's pilot. Wasn't Patricia's pilot. Patricia was on a whole other. Because Patricia did not come from Alabama.
Zayn
She came from.
Matt
Yeah. She wasn't Patricia's pilot. It was not Patricia's pilot.
Zayn
Did I hear that? Whose pilot was it?
Matt
It was some girls who were on the trip.
Heath
Oh.
Zayn
Oh, my God.
Matt
Actually. Actually, maybe it not been the Bahamas one. It might have been a Florida one, because Patricia was on two different. Two trips. Okay. Sorry. But they. They. They were just in such shock. Like, that was the pilot. And it's not like, oh, it was the same pilot who was on a flight. The guy was such a fantastic pilot.
Zayn
Yeah.
Heath
Stood out.
Matt
Said farewell to all the pastors, all of that. He was great. So. To the point where he was so memorable.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
So. So felt like I had to share that. But I think one, our thoughts and prayers go out totally to all of the victims involved in their families. It's so tragic. But to Jonathan Campos's family, my wife's girlfriend had nothing but the nicest things to say about that man. And it's just so crazy. Like, within just a couple days, like, your entire life, we take it away from you. Yeah. Yeah.
Zayn
And it's so. Because. Because when you. When we look at airlines, you. When you see, like, a very recognizable airline, you, like, trust it, right? And that's. I, like, I feel like I fly like that a lot. Like, if I'm. If I have a flight and it's like an airline I've never heard of, normally I just, like, naturally, I just get much more nervous. I'm like. So when I found. I was like, American Airlines, I'm like, that's like. That's just. That's so. Because you're not expecting that on, like, a flight like that, especially just about to hit the ground, too.
Matt
I know. And all.
Zayn
Crazy.
Matt
Yeah. Saw those figure skaters, too, on there as well. I was devastated watching the video.
Zayn
One of the. One of the family members. I think she took a picture on the plane and must have sent us to somebody because it was up somewhere. And it showed like the. The. The people that were on that plane, that flight. So sad.
Matt
Oh my gosh.
Zayn
Devastating.
Matt
But yeah. No, I mean kind of just came down to like human hair and air traffic control. Cuz one person was having to monitor the planes and this and then the people in the helicopter they were all had night vision goggles on.
Zayn
Yeah.
Matt
And they're only vantage point is like 40 degrees of what they can see. And then they even said that they could see because the air traffic control person asked them can you see that plane that is coming? And they said yes. But the thing is is that they probably also got. They were looking at the wrong plane.
Zayn
Oh my God.
Matt
And as well because what is it the theory of like motion or have you ever been driving next to a plane that's like taking off and it looks like it's just floating in midair and. And that also they think may have played into it where they could see it but like they didn't know it was like coming and they thought it was even further at a distance as well.
Heath
The weirdest part is just like the elevations that were like that they were supposed to be at like just the way that like it just got mixed up.
Matt
Yeah. Because the plane was then told right before it was up to land that they actually wanted them to go down like Runway 33. It was another one. So they had to make a maneuver Uber. And then they were talking.
Heath
I was telling Zane you have to be able to think like air traffic controllers. You have to be able to think so quickly.
Matt
Yes.
Heath
With rerouting like when our plane we were coming into land like a week or so ago.
Zayn
We kept circling in there.
Heath
We had to like push out because of like the weather. So they have to take into consideration that you're going over here, you're stalling for like 5, 10 minutes and like you have to be able to like map it all out where the planes are to like avoid that.
Zayn
I don't think that do they just got to be.
Heath
So they don't know.
Matt
Do they know the altitude like all of that of knowing where everybody is placed on the right like paths to where there are no collisions. It's crazy.
Zayn
Do they have a. Were they able to get a confirmation? You have exactly what. Where it went wrong. They like what was it like? I mean was it the.
Heath
The Blackhawk helicopter was flying at an elevation that it wasn't supposed to be?
Matt
Right.
Zayn
Got it.
Matt
With very limited vision and at night and obviously they're focused on other things and listening air traffic control waiting to hear what they have to say. And I think night vision goggles, all of that. There's a lot of. There's human. It's just human air, which is the saddest like part.
Zayn
And there's so many elements to it too. There's so many different elements where you can, like, screw up.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
I think it's just when you have night vision on and you see those lights in the distance at night, if there's multiple lights, like a. Like a city skyline, right?
Matt
Yes.
Heath
And you have all that glowing.
Matt
That's another thing they talked about was the glow from the city below, too.
Heath
Air. Because it is magnified, like it's super amplified, like any source of light. So if they're coming forward at you, you might get. It might blend in with the surrounding light.
Matt
The glare as well. Yeah. Oh, no.
Heath
But then there was the other plane crash that had the. The people that were. It was the little girl who was being medevaced and her mom was on it with her.
Matt
Her in Philadelphia, right?
Heath
Yes. That one just went down.
Matt
I know.
Heath
You can't believe it was multiple doctors on it as well.
Matt
Yeah.
Zayn
Was that a. Like a small, much smaller plane or was that a.
Matt
Yes, it's like a meta. Was it a helicopter? A plane? It was a plane jet. Oh, my gosh.
Heath
But apparently they took off and they were only up in the air for 30 seconds.
Zayn
Oh, my God.
Heath
And I don't think they've said what went wrong yet, but something went wrong like immediately. And then it.
Matt
Yeah. No. So very tragic.
Zayn
Oh, God.
Matt
Okay.
Heath
Hopefully everybody pilots, air traffic control, they're on, not high alert, but like they're super hyper focused and, you know, being super precautious about this stuff and make sure nothing happens.
Matt
This is so random, but I just want to get this off my chest because I think about it every day. So like two or three weeks ago, I pull up in front of our house and there's like a car parked also on the street. There's plenty of cars that park on our street. It's a very, like, busy kind of like neighborhood, but it's like late at night. And I pull up behind the car. That car in front of me is not on. Okay. It's just like there. But I see that there's two passengers in the front seat because my headlights are on and it's an old school car. Maybe like a. Like a 90s Honda Civic or like an early 2000s kind of grandma car. I don't know. Know. And it's two blonde, I assume Blonde women sitting right in the driver's seat. And I was taking a long time in my car to get out because I think I was listening to a podcast and I wanted to hear the end of it or there was something. I was in my car for a long time. I was texting on my phone or finishing up a call. These two bodies do not move. They are still looking direct. I can only see the back of them, but they're not moving. None of them are moving down. They're just sitting still. And the. These blonde. The blonde hair look like wigs. Like, I'm talking about, like. Like, it just looked.
Zayn
It didn't look right. Yeah.
Matt
And I'm like, sit there. And the whole time I'm looking, I'm like, why aren't they not moving? Like, it looked like maybe they were dummies or mannequins or whatever. And then I'm like, I have to get out and, like, see this? Like, who are these ladies? I'm just saying, like, five minutes of these people just stay, like, sitting there.
Zayn
Did you take a picture from your car? No, I didn't.
Matt
I should have. And then the moment I get out of my car and I start walking up to it starts and then just drives off. My imagination. This is what I keep thinking about, was that they were, like, people on, like, a heist or something, and that they were just, like, sitting in disguise, like, trying to be as still as they could, and then just drove off right before I walked up.
Zayn
Was this on your street?
Matt
Identical blonde wigs. Still. They were just. Still.
Zayn
They were filming white chicks, too.
Heath
I wish.
Matt
Maybe the heist. I don't know why I had to get.
Zayn
That's really. That's really eerie. I wouldn't stop thinking about that.
Matt
It just.
Zayn
It. It fell off.
Matt
Yeah. I think about it, like, once a day, and I'm like, what were the. I don't even believe. Maybe they were women. Where were they coming from? Why were they just so still? It looks like. It looked like.
Zayn
Were they in dark clothing?
Matt
Maybe I. It just looked like two people in wigs just being like, oh, oh, oh, oh. And then the moment I was, like, approaching the vehicle, they drove off.
Zayn
Strange, I think, again, so I asked this already was on your street?
Matt
On my street, right in front of our house. And I don't think.
Zayn
Check again. Check. Every night.
Matt
They weren't involved with anything around the houses. They were just, like. It looked like they were on the run and, like, pulled over. And then we're like, wait a second. And then they're fuck. There's a car right behind us and we're just freaked out. I don't know.
Heath
You couldn't, you couldn't see them on your cameras.
Matt
I think I did write down the license plate because I remember I. Yep, I wrote down the license plate.
Zayn
Can you. There's no database where if you put in a license plate you could get information or that's only the police. That happened.
Matt
I guess I, I remember like right after it happened. I just remember like thinking my head over and over the license plate and I wrote it down. I don't want to say the license plate.
Zayn
You know what, you should come up to update us next episode. You should go and it doesn't hurt. Just like they're not going to give you info information back though if you, if you, if you call like a non emergency line they're not going to report back to you. Or you could just be like hey, like I'm like in fear. Me and my wife are in fear that these people are gonna, I don't know, come up with something and say that we need, we need whatever you find out. We need the information.
Matt
It just seems suspicious.
Heath
It seemed like they were up to no good.
Matt
Like a heist or it just seemed like. But wearing wigs. Like it was weird. Weird.
Zayn
We forget that there's people that are like doing that that are not like criminals but they're more like working for the, the government.
Matt
And also we live in West Hollywood. Maybe they were going to a party third time. They were probably like look at this.
Heath
Creep coming up to us. Go get away from him.
Matt
Maybe. But I was susp.
Heath
It was that guy.
Matt
They were probably like look like party wigs.
Heath
These. They were sitting in the car like that guy keeps staring, staring at us.
Zayn
Don't move.
Heath
Seriously. Look. Now he's writing down our license plate. Oh my God. Oh my God, he's walking.
Zayn
Go, go Britney.
Matt
Yes, that's a hat. I feel like that's what it was. It was just a standoff of paranoid where I'm scared of them and they're scared of me.
Zayn
Go, go, go.
Jordan
Do you have your house camera footage of it?
Matt
No, cuz mine only.
Jordan
It's not where I think you victimized two innocent people just trying to go to aggressor. Yeah, that's what it sounds.
Heath
They didn't come out and try to walk up to you.
Jordan
Why were you in your car for so long?
Zayn
Yeah, I'm surprised at how curious you were.
Matt
Like I was listening to an audiobook.
Zayn
He just got out of the car. And he went up to the car. That's very.
Matt
I just wanted. I didn't.
Heath
I just comes up with a flashlight.
Matt
What are we doing here? License, registration, or you just see this, Like, I thought they were dummies. Like, or like, they like mannequins. It was bizarre.
Heath
My favorite is the people that put the dummies in the passenger seat so they can go in the HOV lane.
Zayn
Oh, so smart. So smart.
Jordan
But if you get pulled over, that's.
Zayn
If you get pulled over. But. But you know what? I'm sure they. I'm sure they, like, They're. They're put. They're like getting an extra look now because they know they put dummies. But honestly, if I was like, if I saw a dummy, I'd be like, they tried.
Jordan
Yeah, like, let him go.
Zayn
They're. They're good.
Matt
Like, that is a ticket. I want to know.
Zayn
But look, they. They're going as far as to buy a mannequin because they need to get to work. They need to get to somewhere on time, and they're not speeding.
Matt
But what makes. They're just trying to.
Zayn
What makes them. So I know exactly what makes they did it.
Jordan
They did put the guy the passenger seat.
Matt
I can understand someone getting pulled over. Like, I am so dumb. I'm from a small town. I'm not used to carpool lanes. This is.
Zayn
They're not being reckless.
Matt
Someone who's just like, nah, I'm going to game the system.
Heath
Have you seen those license plate that you can, like, flip and when you go through, like, a toll lane, it can't, like, read your license?
Zayn
Yeah, I saw that. There's cars that have like an automated thing where it just flips up and they pass it and flips down.
Heath
So if you see it coming up, you just flip it. So then it hides your.
Matt
Are you baby. Pretty smart?
Zayn
And you can't, like, tell. Like, you can't tell who has it on their.
Heath
They also have ones where, like, the license plate border that goes around it has like, a little thing that'll slide up quickly and then drop back down. So when you drive through it, you could just.
Zayn
Oh, you know what else is smart too? Something that, like, casts a light. Like, a light where if it takes.
Heath
A picture, so it's a clear reflective outline of your number. So on a. Like, when you take a camera with a flash, it just shows up as nothing.
Matt
That's so risky.
Zayn
You know what I would do? I would. I would make. When it flips, I'd make the License plate. Say a license plate of someone I hate.
Matt
Oh.
Zayn
So they just get all the.
Jordan
I like that.
Matt
It is weird how license plates. You can just go up and just take them off a car. Yeah.
Zayn
You could do whatever. Pretty much anything you want.
Matt
Do you make sure when you get your registration stickers that you get, like, an exacto knife? Yes.
Zayn
You have to when someone steals it.
Matt
Because people can go and take those off. They're the most peelable stickers to take off.
Zayn
And it's like. It's annoying to have to, like, buy a new one.
Matt
So by doing the little exacto knife slits, if somebody goes up to peel it off, they can't get.
Zayn
You lose yours, but you at least. They at least don't get it. It's like something that could do Florida now, but you don't, like, now you like, like, let him have it.
Jordan
Like, he's different in the big city. He's more chill. He's more like, keep it.
Zayn
It's also Matt. It's also very like, I'm sorry you got stopped. I feel like it's very hard to get stopped here.
Matt
First time I had ever been stopped in the 10 years I've lived in.
Zayn
Yeah, it's really tough. It's really tough.
Matt
Pulled over. Oh, wow. Yeah. The only time I've ever been pulled over has been, like, in Texas.
Zayn
Yeah. Like, in Florida, it was like. It was as.
Heath
It was as common.
Zayn
As common as just like.
Heath
Yeah.
Zayn
I would get a ticket every month in Florida. So easy. Anything. No seatbelt on your phone. Like, literally anything you don't put your signal on when. Before you make a right turn, they'll stop you for anything in Florida.
Matt
Since getting this ticket, though, it's still. I'm like, yo, I. I will never be on my phone when I'm driving, but I'm guil guilty of, like, looking at my phone at a stop.
Zayn
Like, no.
Matt
But I've been like.
Zayn
I would never see. I always. I always have it on my. Like, I would never hold it up like this. I have it, like, either here on my lap.
Matt
Yeah.
Zayn
And then. Because what's the difference between that and, like, having it on, like, a.
Heath
On a mount.
Zayn
On a mount. Yeah.
Matt
Should have it just on a mount if I'm ever just gonna touch it and look at something.
Zayn
But, yeah, sometimes I'll look over and they're, like, just as clear as they just.
Heath
No, the people. The people driving and texting is out of control.
Zayn
Yeah.
Heath
It's so bad out here.
Zayn
Yeah.
Heath
I like to zoom up next to Him. And then honk my horn and go like this.
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Heath
I do it all the time. And then my new thing is a thumbs down.
Zayn
What do you. You just go like this.
Heath
I think it's way worse than flicking somebody off.
Zayn
Oh, that is.
Heath
That's like this. Then they get mad too. You just look at them. You just go, that.
Matt
That would make me feel like. Or say. Or like a Roman, like king. Just going.
Heath
No, just like imagine somebody put just this.
Jordan
You cannot be. You cannot be doing that or mad.
Zayn
Just driving by.
Matt
Just go, okay.
Zayn
Hey, you.
Matt
I have a question. If you're driving and you see that the person in front of you does not have their headlights on, I flick them.
Zayn
Oh, flicker.
Matt
You flick them.
Zayn
But that's a respectful way to.
Matt
I know I do that sometimes, but then I'll be like. Like, I feel like an.
Zayn
It's. It's better than honking it. Like, it's. I think it's worse. Respectful thing to do. Yeah, for sure.
Jordan
Yeah.
Heath
A lot of times too. Instead, like, if it's at night and somebody's like, out of, like it turns green instead of honking, I. I flick my lights just as like.
Zayn
Oh, that. I never thought to do that.
Heath
There also needs to be another two levels of the horn.
Zayn
Yeah.
Heath
There needs to be like a tiny little beep as. Like a beep.
Zayn
Yeah, yeah. The hawk is so aggressive. So aggressive.
Matt
Two tubes.
Zayn
And it also, like immediately when you hear honk, it's. It's like you feel as negative immediately.
Matt
Or like an emergency or like something.
Zayn
Yeah.
Jordan
Positive horn.
Heath
Yeah.
Zayn
I'm surprised they don't have like a positive horn. What would that sound like some cute. Oh, like, you know when you lock your car, like, it's so, like. So. Yeah, have that but like louder.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
There also needs to be a thank you light.
Matt
In Japan, they just tap the emergency lights once. Like, if you let someone in or someone lets you in, you just go like emergency lights once as like a thank you.
Zayn
I like that. That's sweet. We need. We need more sweet. Like little buttons on our. On our vehicles.
Heath
Do you guys collect motorcycle?
Jordan
Oh, I like all the time.
Matt
Come again?
Heath
When a motorcyclist is coming up behind.
Zayn
You, you move to the side and.
Heath
You swerve like towards like the concrete barrier to like, have. Let them have more room as they're splitting.
Matt
Okay.
Heath
It just happens to be that super low like that and you're like.
Zayn
It's some. It's something saying thank you to you for, like, giving them room.
Jordan
Matt.
Heath
Feeling in the it is. Next time you see a bike coming up behind you, move all the way over to give them room and you'll get the.
Matt
On like a one lane road?
Heath
No, on the highway.
Zayn
On the highway. You know when there, you know when there's traffic and you see one coming through.
Matt
Okay, you move.
Zayn
Just move over a little bit just so there's.
Matt
All right. I might try it on.
Zayn
But a lot. Most of the times they don't like acknowledge me, which.
Heath
Oh, really? Every time I'm. Every single time.
Zayn
Well, it's because you're probably in your Porsche. I'm in my Tesla.
Jordan
Are you scared? I. It like just happened to me, so it's like fresh in my head. And I moved over to the left.
Zayn
He actually went.
Jordan
Well, he, he did, he did the thing, but he held it for like five seconds, one hand. I was a little concerned, but it was.
Heath
Yeah, it's sick.
Matt
Yeah. Oh, like a nice little. A big dip down.
Heath
They keep it real low.
Matt
That low. Deuce.
Zayn
You know what someone should do as a tick tock? Someone should do one where. Oh, my favorite is like getting that. Getting the. But for this one, you would pull over to this. Like you'd film it. Pull over the side and he, he looks at you, stops, comes over to your driver's side. He goes.
Heath
Thank you. My favorite, My favorite thing about moving over. Motorcyclist.
Zayn
Just go above and beyond. Thank you.
Jordan
There needs to be more car culture like that.
Matt
Yeah, yeah, we.
Jordan
I think we should use that, the windshield wiper and rear of the car as a wave to the people behind you.
Zayn
You forget that every single person or every single car has humans in it.
Matt
Windshield wipers, though. Can we figure simplify those knobs? Like, I understand that it's a switch and we're going up like we're increasing frequency, but when I look at the, like the end of the knob, I'm like, what the. Is all of that? The moment you need it. I never sit there and study it, but I'm like, what? There's six different modes on it.
Heath
There's the auto, then there's like the.
Matt
And there's little images. I'm like, mother, I gotta. I always think when I get home, I'm gonna really study to see how it works. I never get around to it and it stresses me out.
Zayn
You know what I hate about my Tesla? That I always. For I. For every. I'll never get used to it. I hate that it automatically shuts off your signal once you turn right. So if I'm changing lanes I'll put on, like, the. The. The signal, and once you switch lanes, it automatically turns off. But in my head, I'm so used to turning it off. So every time I go, I'm going to the right, I put the right signal on and I move over and then I go click. But it actually moves over to the left signal, and there's times I don't notice it. So it just looks like I'm a bad driver. Like, I'm turning and then my left signal is already going off as I'm turning. I'm like, hell, and I'll never get used to it. It sucks. You look like a bad driver.
Heath
I love not clicking the turn indicator all the way. Okay, so, like, you can, like, put it up and it locks until you crank your wheel over and then it'll, like, release it. But if you, like, tap it. If you tap it up, it gives you three clicks, like three blinks.
Matt
So if you click on all cars.
Zayn
No, there's no way. There's no way.
Jordan
Tesla's got that.
Zayn
I just touch it.
Matt
Wait, a light tap versus, like, the.
Heath
Click versus clicking it all the way over. So if you push it to the point where it goes, like, you push it up to that, it'll give you three clicks and you can get the lane change in without having to click it up and then have to turn it back off. Or if you hold it up at that point, it'll stay until you let it go.
Zayn
Well, I think that's just the car you drive.
Heath
All of my cars do it. So if you're driving, I hold it up and then I'll change lanes until I'm ready, and then I'll just let it go or I'll hit it, like, quickly, and then it'll go click, click, click, and then I'll change.
Zayn
Okay, I'm gonna try with myself. So I feel like.
Heath
Try it on your way home.
Matt
Yeah, I'm trying on my way home.
Jordan
Do you auto your windshield wipers or do you manual and look for the correct speed that you want?
Heath
I dial them.
Zayn
I haven't used my windshield wipers in months.
Matt
I just around with them. I'm like, too slow, too fast. I don't know. I change it, like every.
Zayn
Only turn on when I like when I feel like I want to see the blue cleaner on my glass. Like, sometimes I don't need a cleaning, but I'm just like.
Heath
But I. I like, like a sir. I don't like when it's this, like when it's too fast. So I like keep it. I keep it slower than it should be.
Matt
Okay. Yeah. Nice.
Zayn
All right, so I'm gonna put on the last signal and I'm gonna signal this episode out.
Heath
Okay. Oh, that blinker gone.
