Heath
You can suck it, lick it or squeeze it.
Zane
Come on. Baby bottle pop. Munch it, munch it, dip it, lick.
Heath
It and twist it and suck it. Suck it.
Matt
He did not have suck it in it.
Heath
That's the only thing you do in the.
Mariah
You're mixing up. You're mixing up a bop it.
Zane
Yeah.
Mariah
You don't twist it. I think it. I think you can lick it, dip it, and munch it. That's what I said.
Heath
It's not munch.
Matt
It's a hard puff.
Zane
Lick. Eat. You could dip it, lick it, and eat it. Again.
Heath
Suck it.
Zane
Yeah, it's not sucking.
Mariah
I don't think they would do suck it.
Heath
You could dip it, lick it, or suck. Yeah, it doesn't even. It doesn't even actually flow, actually. Now you say that. Baby bottle pop. Baby bottle pop.
Matt
Damn. Okay, you're all wrong.
Heath
No way.
Matt
Well, we got. You can lick it.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
Shake it. Whoa.
Mariah
Oh, shoot. You're right.
Matt
And dunk it.
Mariah
Okay, I was close with Munch. Dunk and munch. Okay, I knew it was an un.
Matt
Baby bottle pop. Bottle pop. You can lick it, shake it, and dunk it.
Heath
That's not what it is.
Zane
There's no way.
Heath
There's no way.
Matt
And they didn't say and do it again.
Zane
There's. Couldn't they say that and do it again?
Matt
Oh, wait. Baby bottle pop. Jonas Brothers. Wait, what am I looking at?
Heath
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Matt
Wait, hold on. Glitch in the Matrix subreddit. Someone says I need your help. Baby bottle pop. Baby bottle pop. You can lick it, sip it and munch it.
Mariah
No, Way it is wrong.
Matt
Wait, hold on.
Mariah
I thought it was.
Heath
Guys, guys, guys. I got it.
Mariah
You can.
Heath
Let's listen to it.
Mariah
Dip it and munch it.
Matt
Yeah. Play it.
Mariah
No. Okay. That's out of order, too.
Matt
That's what I said.
Mariah
Shake. They said Shake it at the end.
Heath
This was 1998.
Mariah
Okay. Doing it. Do like, a 2000s.
Heath
They didn't revise it.
Mariah
Wait, why would they say Shake it last? It should be like, okay, this is Shake it and Lick.
Heath
This is Jonas Brothers, maybe.
Zane
So this is throwing me.
Matt
Jonas Brothers probably wanted to do it.
Heath
And they changed lyrics. This was 17 years ago. This.
Mariah
That's what I remember. Dunk it, Lick it, Shake it and dunk it.
Heath
Horror.
Zane
What are they? Mandela. Is that what they call them?
Matt
Mandela Effect.
Heath
But this one, there was just clearly different versions throughout the years. Like, and different artists were.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
I'm gonna come in. I'm gonna bring back.
Zane
You should do a cover.
Heath
I'm gonna do Lick It. Lick it, Dip it and Suck it. There's nothing wrong with sucking it. There's nothing wrong with sucking it normalized.
Matt
Because a baby sucks on a baby bottle.
Heath
Exactly. That's why.
Matt
That's what it makes sense.
Heath
You're sucking on a pacifier. You're sucking on a Beta.
Zane
And you sucking on it, baby.
Heath
Okay. Is it. Is there a song for Push Pop? Maybe it's Push Pop.
Matt
Push it.
Heath
You can push it. You can. You can push it. Lick it and pop it.
Zane
You know what? Never stuck, though. And I still see him, and I just wasn't. You remember the. The paintbrush? It was the same thing. He was just not it.
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Zane
It was paintbrush with the bucket.
Matt
That was. Yeah, they would have that, like, on a blockbuster. Like, it was kind of a little. It was too much like, your parents are, like.
Heath
It's all. Are. So. You know. Remember the squeeze ones where you squeeze the jelly? The ooze.
Matt
You just, like, love that.
Heath
No, I loved it, too.
Zane
But that was good.
Heath
When you think about it, it is terrible. Bad.
Mariah
I liked the sour spray.
Matt
Sour spray? The warhead. Like, sour.
Mariah
Yeah.
Heath
Watermelon that would tear up your tongue. Like, the scrape the white gum. That would just. Oh, Even when I eat a bunch. Like, I've been so. I've been addicted to, like, the Icebreakers.
Zane
Yeah. But it has to be the Icebreakers. Half and half one. It's got to be the mint on the one side with the strawberry. They're not ridges. They're like little tiny dots.
Heath
So it's so those bump teeth. Because I eat so many it tears my tongue out.
Zane
No, I know.
Heath
And I, I. The thing is, I'm eating that because I'm still like. So sometimes I like, think about the vape.
Zane
Okay.
Heath
So it's like, those really help. Especially while I'm a treadmill. I'm like, oh, I either need a hit. I need a hit of something.
Matt
Is it true if you bite those, like, in the dark, there's like a spark.
Zane
Lifesavers, just savers.
Matt
Did it work?
Mariah
It worked, right?
Matt
It never worked for me as a kid.
Zane
You. It's not like a spark. Spark where you. But if you have all the lights off, you can see like a little.
Matt
Okay.
Heath
Pretty fun.
Matt
Yeah, that is fun.
Mariah
Like a glow. Oh, then that should inside of us, right?
Heath
What the hell is in that? What the hell is in that?
Matt
It's very good. I'll say that.
Mariah
I don't know, but they're in all our bathrooms.
Matt
Oh, I love it when I'm just, like, checking out of somewhere and they got that. Just the whole bowl of those. Oh, yeah. Of wintergreen Lifesavers. Just. Oh, I'm taking a handful.
Mariah
Because you don't think about them until they're in front of you. You're like, these are. These are nice.
Matt
Exactly.
Heath
You know, my grandmother used to have. She used to always have those chocolate ones. No, the complete opposite of the mints. The white and the red stripe. Not that. The brown and the green stripe.
Mariah
Oh, brown.
Matt
And it's kind of.
Zane
No, kind of like a dinner mint.
Heath
Where the brown and green. Yeah, it's the same as the red and white.
Matt
You've never seen those make your tongue go yellow. What a yummy dinner.
Heath
Oh, chocolate make. You know that make your breast stank.
Zane
Yeah, but what a time, though, with the Andy's candies at Olive Garden.
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Zane
Every time they bring the check, you'd get four little candies.
Matt
It was Olive Garden.
Heath
Was it? I thought it was Outback that had garden. Okay, bring them back.
Matt
Make them bigger. Yeah, make it bigger. Not big enough.
Heath
A big Andy's bar. Imagine. Oh, your breath would.
Zane
There's something about those Andes candies, though. They. They hit just right.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
Thin mint.
Heath
Oh, I gotta use the bathroom already.
Zane
But because we gotta do the intro. So just go. Go peepee. Cocky.
Mariah
Go make room.
Heath
Okay.
Zane
All right.
Matt
Don't forget about us now you gotta go cocky.
Heath
No, no, just.
Matt
We got.
Heath
I just. You know what? I bet you people listening and watching right now. They probably gotta go pee pee real quick. All right.
Mariah
Everyone's gonna go And I'm not gonna cut it.
Heath
Actually, you know what? We're gonna. They're gonna come with me and watch me pee. You guys are going to watch me.
Zane
He's going to bring a camera.
Mariah
I'm going to leave the break in.
Heath
Okay, well, he. Do the. Do the info.
Matt
All right.
Heath
It's coffee to baby.
Zane
It's coffee toe, baby.
Mariah
Give us Z. Give us a little pee pee dance.
Matt
Ow.
Zane
Welcome back to Zayn and Heath Unfiltered. That's Zayn. I'm Heath.
Matt
I'm Matt.
Mariah
I'm Mariah.
Zane
And we are unfiltered. Welcome back to another episode. Thank you for tuning in and joining us again. We love you guys. And we've got actually a pretty fun episode coming up. We got a recap. Mariah and I went to Pennsylvania. Zane said he had a pretty exciting week as well. Yes. And you just got back from a trip, right?
Matt
Yeah, I went to Bama.
Mariah
Sorry, baby.
Matt
I did my best.
Mariah
A little angel.
Matt
Oh, just a tiny little monkey.
Mariah
They're twins, him and Scotty pretty much.
Matt
They look very similar. We even, like, have been comparing, like, baby photos of, like, Scotty and Teddy, like, back and forth, and we're like, can you even guess which one's which?
Mariah
Really cute.
Zane
And you finished a blanket for this one as well?
Matt
I finished it. The baby blue one? No, the baby blue one was for my cousin Lindsay. The yellow one was for Teddy because I did yellow because they did not know the gender until the day of the birth. So that's why I went with yellow. But I just finished.
Zane
Were they. Were they expecting it or was it they?
Matt
Everyone. We did, like, the big family prediction. Like, hey, I'm your uncle. I think that you're gonna be a boy. I think it was like, I'm your.
Zane
People, and I know you're gonna be a girl.
Heath
No, you're gonna be.
Matt
I think it was, like, 22 boys, seven girl. Everyone just wanted, you know, just to have that classic. What's it called? Nuclear family.
Heath
It's got to be fake. Half of those, right? There's no way they're. Those families have all, like. No, they're insane characters.
Matt
We talked about this last episode.
Heath
We did. I said the same thing too.
Mariah
I'm gonna start a blanket for my sister's baby.
Matt
You're gonna knit?
Mariah
I crochet.
Matt
Oh, okay, great.
Mariah
I don't think I've ever tried to knit.
Matt
Crocheting, I think, is easier than knitting.
Mariah
It is because you have the hooks.
Matt
Yes.
Heath
And it's thicker.
Mariah
It's the Only one I knew. I know.
Heath
What's thicker, right? Crocheting is, like, thicker, so it's like, easier.
Mariah
It's just different. Different.
Matt
It's all different types. You can have thin yarn with a skinnier needles and thicker yarn.
Mariah
Whatever yarn you want, but it's the way you do it. And it's two different sticks.
Heath
God. I literally thought crocheting was just. It's like thick, thick yarn with a thick, like, I've seen, like, big ones.
Matt
You're kind of almost using one the whole time, right?
Mariah
You use one and you just use your hand. It's basically just like through and hook and pull. Through and hook and pull. Like, crochet has hooks at the end of the sticks. Knitting does not.
Heath
Can I. How long does it take to like, make something this big? I want. Because I want to make 30 minutes. I want to make one for crocheting.
Matt
Crochet you can get more work and faster. For me, that would take me three, four hours, probably.
Heath
Damn.
Mariah
And that's why I'm crocheting.
Matt
It takes me one line across is like 10 to 15 minutes. And I have to do that over.
Zane
To the point where you can put designs and stuff or like, are you colors?
Matt
Great question. I am capable of it. I just always am. Like, I don't. Because after you make so much progress, I get so nervous to bring in a new colored yard because you're going to screw it up. So right now I. I've actually been working on, like, a lovey that I think I'm. I'm actually not in love with anymore. But I'm gonna use that as my guinea pig to start testing it out.
Mariah
I always just wanted to do, like, the little. What are they called? Grandma squares. What are they called?
Matt
Yes, yes. The crocheting squares. You can make a big blanket.
Mariah
You make a bunch of little squares and then you put it all together for one big.
Matt
Yes.
Mariah
Blanket or outfit, whatever. But I'm gonna stick to crocheting. If it takes that long to knit, I don't have time for that.
Matt
And I want to get into stuffed animals too. I want to knit like a duck or like a teddy bear or like something like that.
Zane
What's the one? That's a circle where you pull it really tight and then you put the trim around and you, like, bracket it down. Do you know what I'm talking about? It's a circle.
Matt
Oh.
Zane
And then you put the shit in it. And then you put the other circle.
Matt
Cross stitching, like needle points on it.
Mariah
Oh, yeah. The one that I bought. I have a hot dog one.
Matt
Yeah, yeah. Cross stitch.
Zane
Those are cool, I think.
Matt
Yeah. Yeah, that is cool. But that. You can't. You really have to pay attention when you're putting it in and when you're pulling it out. And if you want to watch TV and do something mindless, that requires, I think, a little bit of more attention than, like, mindless.
Mariah
Do you remember I used to do the. It was like, this plastic net, and you would make, like, a rug almost, and it would go like. I'll show you a picture.
Heath
Hold on.
Mariah
I don't even know how to describe it. Yeah.
Matt
It basically is kind of like you make, like, a shag rug kind of.
Heath
Yeah. I mean, that's literally how you make shag rugs, because they're all like, every bottom like that.
Zane
Do you remember when I bought that rug gun?
Matt
Yes.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
That thing was fun, dude.
Matt
That is fun.
Zane
You kind of do the same thing where you nail the borders of the wood and then you stretch it out on.
Matt
It's like a gun, and you just go and cover it.
Heath
Who didn't you make a promoter? The Komodo playing?
Zane
Yes.
Matt
Right? And. Yeah, that's fun. Making is fun, but, you know, it's. You got to go out and do it.
Heath
Yeah. Is. Everything is like this blanket right here that Mariah is sitting on.
Mariah
This would take a long.
Matt
That's a machine made.
Heath
There's. There's no. Okay. I was about to say it's like, there's no way someone knitted that. And it only costs, like, and a lot.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
And there's even like, these little, like, plastic contraption things where you can thread the yarn in, and it can make, like, a beanie in, like, less than 10 minutes, so. Which I'm a little, like, if that's what you want to do. Like, I know Abby on Love of the Spectrum, she makes a little beanies doing that, but, you know, hey, but you can.
Heath
You could definitely make it easier on a. It's. It's honestly 100% a hobby.
Matt
Yes. Like, it's. No knowing that, like, you put your. Your heart, mind, and sweat and tears into making something, and it took that long. That's.
Zane
You have to sell your baby blankets for a thousand dollars to, like, make, like, hourly wage.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
I would have to sell mine for, like, 200, $300. That's time. Right. But if it was my day job and I was busting them out all the time and spending my entire day on it, I would maybe charge less. But for me, it's Just that's like.
Heath
I would, I would start getting machines.
Matt
Yeah. Just lie.
Zane
Got to open warehouses.
Matt
Yeah. After this baby blanket, I then get a. I don't know, start to do maybe little beanies or something or the stuffed animals. I want to switch it up. The baby blankets.
Mariah
I love little booties for the baby.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Oh, that's cute. I think that's like worth spending time on.
Matt
If it's someone like, it's. I really close to. It's like my cousin's having a baby and it's a girl. I'm like, I gotta. I'm making you the blanket. I gotta. I can't be like, I just did booties for you this time. Love ya.
Zane
Are you able to transition to a different type of pattern? So if you were doing a sweater, can you then do like a collar or like cuffs?
Matt
Yeah, yeah. I can read patterns. Like so it's almost like reading music where it will say K2P1 K2. That means like knit two times, purl once, knit two times. And so when you're able to read that and you work your way up so you're following.
Heath
Hell, I'm already getting shattered.
Matt
But mine's just basic, all the way across. We're knit purling, knit purling, which turns into a seed stitch. Speaking of clothes, just a pivot. How often do you guys wash your jeans?
Heath
Now? I. Every time I wear it once I throw it in the dirty.
Mariah
I know you really shouldn't, but for my mental being, as soon as I wear something, I have to wash it because I also. They fit the best after the dryer.
Zane
Too tight.
Mariah
I don't like the way they fit after one. After one wear. I hate the way they fit on me.
Heath
They feel dirty and they feel loose too. Like, it just doesn't.
Matt
Well, I can see how you gotta wash. Why?
Heath
Why? I know, I know a few wears.
Matt
Like, I could. Well, it depends how long I wore this.
Zane
This is my third time on this pair.
Matt
Yes. Same here.
Zane
I've changed my underwears, but if I'm.
Matt
Wearing the jeans, I guess from sun up to sundown, I would get like, okay, these need to be washed. But I'm wearing it out from like 7pm for the night. That's only a couple hours.
Heath
Exactly.
Zane
Fold it back in the closet. Like if I'm working on my car, you're getting one way. I'm not doing it.
Heath
If. If I'm wearing pants and we're recording a podcast, 100% going to the wash after. Because. Right. I'm just like Swamp ass. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm. I'm nervous.
Mariah
I use my pants as a napkin. So I have.
Heath
What do you mean?
Mariah
On my pants? Little Cheeto D. Not with, like, sauce on them. Just, like, if I have, like, a crumb on me, I'm like, but you.
Heath
Know what if, like, you know, you're about to throw that thing in the hamper in an hour at dinner? You're just like, I don't care.
Matt
It's the worst. So after you've done your laundry and you pull out that favorite shirt, and there's just that stain, and it's an.
Heath
Oil stain, too, on this one right now.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
That's crazy how oil just ruins your car.
Matt
But then it's like my biggest fear. It's like having, like, a zit on your face, that you're gonna arrive at some function and someone's gonna go, what's that? Like, no one's really judging, you know, that bad about a stain.
Heath
But it's good to let them know that they have it, just in case.
Zane
I've done all the time, though. You know, if you go to, like, the bathroom and you put it away a little bit too quickly.
Matt
Oh, oh, the little.
Zane
You get a tiny little drop.
Heath
Do you shake?
Matt
Yeah, I'm not a shaker. And maybe shake it.
Zane
Suck it good, bubba.
Matt
You shake it.
Zane
No. But then you have to go to the sink, and you have to splash a little. You get your hands real, and you do this to, like, make some more water spots to cover.
Heath
Sometimes this is really bad. Sometimes I feel like it's all out. And then I put it back under. I'm like, oh, God, there was a good pint last.
Matt
I was like, you're wearing khakis. You're wearing khakis.
Heath
I'm like, oh, no, no.
Matt
Todd at Remy's wedding.
Heath
And you know what I do?
Zane
He did. He had it.
Matt
Well, look, I think. Well, it was funny, and I felt bad when it happened. We were all lined up to use, like, the. The portable bathroom thing, and it was kind of a big line. This was around cocktail hour before we could enter. And Todd was like, I'm going to be so fast. He comes out, he's just like, all right, y' all are good to go. And I'm like, what happened here? Just backsplash. But I apologize to him, because then everyone started laughing, and I was like, I should have not made that joke.
Heath
But if I do. If I do, slash, I do get a little bit more water, and it Just makes it look like I still.
Zane
Yeah.
Heath
You know when you wash your hands and you put your stomach too close to the sink, but, like the sink is all wet. That's what I make it look like happened. Because I'm pretty good with it.
Zane
It's better to have a lot of drops than have one specific drop.
Heath
Oh, that's a pee pee. That's a pee pee drop.
Matt
So back. So this. I have like a little infographic that says how often you need to wash certain items. Four jeans. It says after five to six wears.
Mariah
I could never.
Matt
No, after five to six wears.
Heath
I can't believe.
Matt
How often do you wash a bra?
Mariah
Oh, I wash. No, I'm telling you anything.
Zane
She's very washed. Like, ocd.
Matt
About how often do you. What do you think the standard is for bra wash?
Mariah
It's probably pretty. Maybe the same as jeans.
Matt
Yeah. It's three to four wears.
Mariah
Okay.
Matt
For sure.
Heath
I can see that girls wear their bras four times before they wash it.
Mariah
It all my stuff just crazy.
Matt
But maybe it also depends on. Maybe depends on size too.
Zane
Bust.
Matt
Bust.
Heath
Why would size.
Matt
Well, I don't know. I feel like if you have more surface area, it probably creates more sweat and like, like.
Heath
Oh, my gosh. Yeah. Yeah, you're right. You're right.
Matt
I think maybe that does play into it.
Heath
And what's. What's underwear say?
Matt
Underwear everywhere.
Heath
Oh, God. Okay. I was scared because you sent six wears out for the jeans.
Matt
The items they say to wash after everywhere are socks, socks, underwear, swimwear, gym wear, white clothes, silk clothes, and formal dresses.
Zane
There's been times when I've had to put the same socks back on. And the. You just know they're already stretched out. They've got that angle for the big toe where you already had it on and.
Heath
But that, you know, you know you're clean, though. When you wear socks for half the day, I take it off. Right. But this is like when I'm traveling and I, like, didn't pack enough socks. I'm like, fuck, I gotta wear it again. And the socks smell clean. Yes. Oh, you never feel clean. Or you're like, oh, I know I don't stink today.
Matt
Like after I take my night shower and then I'm like, putting on my PJs and I put on brand new socks. I then take those off, keep them by my nightstand, and when I wake up, I put them back on because I only wore them for.
Mariah
I've done that two hours.
Heath
Yeah, but it's nice.
Matt
Yeah. When you get that they're still good. You get that little sniff. You're like this.
Mariah
I purposely put on socks to go to bed just to take them off right before I fall asleep.
Matt
Sleep.
Mariah
Oh, you're about wearing socks to bed. Like, people are like, how could you wear socks to bed? I do, but I do it and then. Right. It's. It almost like, puts me to sleep. I, like, use my feet to take them off.
Zane
Yeah. And then. And then there's.
Heath
And then, like, a bedtime story.
Mariah
He pairs of socks every time we make the bed. There's actually in the crevices.
Matt
I wish socks, though, like, had an expiration date on them because, like, I'm never like, I. Yeah, I guess you can't tell, but I'm just like, I. How long have I had this sock? Yeah, it's gotta go.
Zane
I know we've said it before, but, like, I've never gotten a blowout in a sock. And I don't know how people. As soon as there's a hole in the trash, there's people that'll take their shoes off and there'll be a big toe hanging out. And I'm like, how are you going walking on concrete?
Heath
So. So I know.
Zane
How do you go about your day with it?
Heath
I wear myself. I wore. Oh, yeah, yeah. But like, I get socks in my holes a lot. Because I got holes in my socks a lot. The way when you said I was like, let's stop. Stop laughing at me. But anyway. But it's all right. I use my. I use my socks to walk around. Even, like, when I'm, like, working out the gym, I'm in my socks a lot. So I'm just, like, on that ground on the concrete.
Zane
Maybe it's because I never take my shoes off.
Mariah
I hate putting shoes on. I'm always, like, outside with socks on. Like, I just.
Matt
Just. How often do you. Raw dog, like, foot. No. Sock in a shoe.
Heath
Never.
Mariah
Because it stinks.
Matt
I've done it sometimes, like Birkins, like my.
Zane
My Birkenstocks. I'll wear those.
Heath
And I feel like that's the quickest way to make your. Make your shoes, like, stay.
Matt
If you're wearing, like, Doc Ciders, like, boat shoes, you have to, like.
Heath
Yeah, they got boats. They have boat socks.
Zane
Yeah, but people make fun of you if you wear those.
Matt
Well, yeah, but you can't wear those.
Zane
The. No. See them.
Heath
Yeah, people do make fun of you. Just can't wear them without the shoe. You have to take them both off at the same time. Don't. Don't Ever. I saw actually a girl's tick tock. She was like, what? What gives you the ick? And she was filming her boyfriend in the kitchen cooking, and he was wearing, you know. Yeah. And it looks so bad. Okay, girls, find it.
Zane
I used to only wear those and it would have that little tiny, like rubber gripper on the back of the heel so they don't slide off the Pilates socks. No, not. It's on the inside. So it's on your skin so you.
Mariah
Don'T get like a little blister kind.
Zane

Matt
Okay, do you hang dry your leggings like, or like.
Mariah
I dry everything. Your leisure wear, everything.
Matt
Patricia, like, we have this on the little hanger outside that she just like has all of her leggings on. And I'm like, why can't you dry these?
Mariah
But for our wedding, we did get. I asked for a clothesline. Yeah. Because I will start hanging stuff, but right now I just. The way I, I wash clothes just to get it into the dryer so it'll fit perfectly.
Heath
You don't hang dry everything. But you will.
Mariah
I not, not everything. Just certain things. Like, especially his sweaters. Expensive, nice button ups that like. Or pants that can't be dried.
Heath
Oh, yeah. And they.
Mariah
Because they'll shrink. Yeah.
Matt
Do you dry clean every suit after you've worn it once?
Heath
Yes.
Zane
Yeah, I do too, sometimes.
Matt
It depends on the event. Steam it out. It depends how much I care about Europe. If it's a nice wedding, I'm like, oh, I gotta get this dry clean. But if it's like, like we're going, I don't know, like someone Patricia went to high school with. I'm like, I. I didn't even sweat that hard in it. Let's just steam dry.
Zane
I've noticed ever since I stopped drinking, I don't have to wash it after everything. I don't sweat. I don't, like, have that musk from when I would drink and wear a suit. Also, every hour Every time I would be, like, at a wedding or drinking, there would always be spills. There's, like, red wine drops on, like, all the white shirts that I'd be like.
Heath
Like, how do I get that?
Zane
Like, some sort of, like, just. Al. You're on the dance floor, you're kind of just, like, moving, and there's drinks spilling on it.
Heath
Like, for me, it's just the dancing part.
Matt
And then when you're drunk, you just take that off and just throw it right on the ground. You, like, never make it a habit to, like, hang it after just to maintain its structure.
Heath
By the way, lost. Lost my tie.
Zane
Huh?
Heath
Remy's wedding.
Matt
That was a nice tie, Zayn.
Heath
I. I know. I lost it.
Matt
I wanted that tie. Sorry.
Heath
Do you have it?
Matt
No. Who?
Zane
It's with the Lana card.
Mariah
That.
Heath
But, like, who has it?
Matt
Did you take it off during the wedding?
Heath
I don't. I had to have. I don't know.
Zane
Didn't you have it around your head as, like, a bandana?
Matt
Ask Lost and Found. Dude, maybe they'll. They. You should just call the venue and go, did a tie show up? Probably.
Heath
Hey, can you guys drop it off?
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Zane
He drives two hours to go pick it up. He would never.
Heath
No, no, no, no. I know. It was. It was a nice one. It's the one I just got.
Zane
Y.
Heath
Should I go back to that guy and get it again?
Zane
No.
Heath
All right. So this past weekend, I would. Went to the Hamptons for the first time.
Zane
Yeah. How was it?
Heath
Couldn't tell you what it looks like.
Zane
What?
Heath
Because we were in a party bus for pretty much the whole. So we stayed in New York City. We stayed in, like, what area. Did you see my location?
Matt
You were in Southampton or Bridges?
Heath
No, no, no. Our hotel.
Mariah
I don't know why they had you stay so far.
Heath
So we were far. We were all aware with. It was like, it's gonna be a far drive because that's where we're going to the festival the next day. We're like, oh, okay.
Zane
They probably didn't want to be traffic all the way out in the Hamptons. At least you're, like, close to the city.
Heath
It was either. It was either you're close to the festival or you're close to the airport.
Matt
There's not, like, there's not that much real estate out in the Hamptons or, like, there's not, like, it's a cozy, like, bed and breakfast boutiques. There's not, like, massive, massive, massive.
Heath
Is it, like, Key west where it's, like, everything's very congested. Or is it.
Mariah
There's a lot of space. It's huge.
Zane
It's like a lot of houses. Like, it's basically like, property.
Mariah
I call it like the diving board of New New York.
Matt
Like, at the end of the world.
Mariah
Oh, it is so long. It takes so long to get to Montauk.
Matt
That's why they call it the end of the world is Montauk.
Heath
Jeez. Okay. So we were in a party bus, like a packed party bus, pretty much the whole drive up. And we wanted to keep the blinds down because it was really hot. And it was really hot with everybody in there, too. We're like. So I didn't. We didn't really. I didn't really get to see what the Hamptons look like. I still don't know what the Hamptons look like because we. We got dropped off and all you saw was, like, woods, and we're like, oh, wow. Okay. And then we get into this festival and you don't really see much. And all the grass was, like, pretty dead.
Zane
I didn't see, like, the crazy houses.
Heath
No. I feel like I did not get to. I. I need to go to Hampton still. I need to go to the Hamptons.
Matt
I think Hamptons are. Unless you know somebody who has a house in the Hamptons and it's not their parents house, it's their house. It's worth it. Hamptons, I think, are so overrated. There's not that many Ubers and, like, lifts out there. You really have to, like, call. Yeah. Cab to get you there.
Heath
Yes.
Matt
There's no cell phone signal hardly anywhere because all those old rich people don't want cell phone towers out there.
Heath
I remember we got back in and I had, like, 30 missed texts because they. All them didn't come in.
Mariah
There to stay in a nice house.
Matt
Yes.
Mariah
Like, if I got an Airbnb there, I would.
Heath
Would.
Mariah
That would be my vacation. Like, on the water.
Heath
Yeah. I feel like that's definitely how you have to do it. Okay, so you see the third picture up there? There. I saw. I saw that they invited different influencers there and they did a whole, like, thing the day before the festival where they went to Surf Lodge. They went to. They had Surf Lodge. I didn't. It was like, other influencers. And then they took him to Surf Lodge. They had them at a house like this, and they like, they're doing all this. I think it was like, with a revolver or something. I was like, oh, that's. I feel like that's the Hamptons. That I. That I, in my head was imagined.
Matt
What was the music festival? What was it called?
Heath
It was called Palm Tree Music Festival.
Matt
What kind of music was it?
Heath
So it's Kygo. You know Kygo, the dj created it. I think he was the one that started the festival. So he obviously performs at every single Palm Tree Music Fest. And then he'll have like different DJs, like, headline.
Matt
Oh, cool.
Heath
And I feel like it's getting bigger and bigger because they just had one of the Hamptons and they're about to have another one at like Saint Tropez or Saint Tropez.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
I don't know. I don't know my fancy tropical islands yet, but. Yeah, but like there was a lot of people. A lot of people showed up.
Matt
Cool.
Heath
But it was because I've never really been to. I've been to a festival, but like the only one I really know is Coachella.
Zane
Huh.
Heath
So coming to this, how was it? I was like, oh, wow, they only have two stages.
Matt
It's like a boutique festival.
Heath
Yeah, it's a very boutique festival. And it's like for people that love.
Zane
Is it house music one that we went to in Chicago? Like that type of. No, no, no, not Lala. It was the other, other one when we went pitch. Pitch.
Heath
Oh my God.
Matt
Y' all went to Pitchfork.
Heath
It was one of our first, I think, festivals outside of Ultra. Have you ever been to Ultra?
Zane
I never went to Ultra.
Heath
Okay. So it was his first festival. My second festival that I've ever been to is called Pitchfork. And we got this like last minute job.
Zane
We go there, we got a job to like do something with like these foams phones. It was like.
Heath
I know exactly the phone. It was the HTC phones that they just came out with.
Zane
Yeah, it was the HTC phone. So we got to give them away to people at the festival.
Heath
But it was boring. It was a terrible day.
Zane
Really bad.
Heath
Really bad. But it was really funny because. Not funny, but it was perfect because we were handing out to people that just broke their phones. So it was like a perfect little moment that we were having with these people because I don't think it was random. We were like finding people that broke their phones.
Zane
Like people that had like either dropped it in the water there or.
Matt
Right.
Zane
Had cracked screens and trucks like that.
Heath
It was a lot of people. I think we could have given out like 50 phones that day.
Matt
Wow.
Heath
With that. Because it was like. I think it was like a very unexpected just storm that went through Pitchfork and I'm surprised they didn't even shut it down. But apparently people there were like, no, this is like, people out here, they don't care. Like, this is here for the music. And, you know, they really were there for the music because they were. They were at the stages when it was pouring for these artists.
Matt
I've never heard of Chance the Rapper.
Heath
Oh, yeah.
Matt
And what year was this?
Zane
2015.
Matt
Oh, it's like coloring book. Chance the Rap.
Heath
Oh, yeah.
Matt
Acid rap. Chance the Rapper was great.
Zane
It was good.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
Yeah. Pitchforks. I've always want to go to Pitchfork Festival.
Heath
That's so. What a memory. I can't believe that I. I forgot about that. Good, cool.
Zane
Good times.
Matt
Pitchfork are the toughest music critics, though. Like, yeah, they will give you the truest rating of how they feel like your album was. Because they don't judge it based on just this album. They look at your whole career and see if you're evolving or not evolving.
Heath
But, you know, you do need people. You need publications out there that are hard.
Matt
Yes.
Heath
On people.
Matt
And they.
Heath
Then you just.
Matt
They're ruthless, but. And they always have the best writers sometimes. So, like.
Heath
So if somebody thinks an album's bad and they see Pitchfork likes it, do you think that makes people change their mindset? Oh, maybe I am looking at it the wrong way because Pitchfork sees it in a way.
Matt
Like, I like Grimes, and Pitchfork turned me on to Grimes when I read their review for Art Angels. And. And I was like, oh, this is. I never really knew who Grimes was until, like, Pitchfork shined a spotlight on her. And it made me see her in a different light because she produces everything. She's not just some person who goes into a studio with a beat already made and lyrics already written for her. She makes it all.
Heath
And as we're on our way there on the party, this is like, my first time meeting, like, everybody on the bus. I'm so. This kid next to me, his name is Vincent. He is a. He is just this Italian New Jersey. New Jersey. And he's just so pumped, so excited. I'm just waking up. So, like, that was. That was a lot next. But I was just like, he's. He's being so nice. I'm gonna sit here. I'm gonna chill. And he just kept on going. I was like, oh, my God, I gotta send a video of him to Heath. Like. Like, he is. He's just such a character. I sent him a video and I said, it's. He. Like, yo, look at this. Look at this kid next to me. He's nuts. And then Heath goes, that's Vincent for. That's Vincent Gigante from.
Zane
I was like, he's a New Jersey legend.
Matt
Everybody knows who is his girlfriend.
Mariah
Yeah, they did break up.
Matt
Oh, they broke up.
Heath
They broke up.
Matt
He would, like, always, like, flip out or something. She would, like, kind of film him were.
Mariah
They were cute.
Heath
So. No, this. I. So I've, like, I. I like, never really. I've never seen it before.
Zane
Are you doing, like. It's, like, so over the top.
Mariah
He's a lot of energy.
Heath
A lot of energy. I wish I. I wish I could, like, take some energy from him. And the whole time I was. I was, like, talking. I had that time. You know how it is.
Zane
You pick it up.
Heath
You just pick it up.
Matt
It happens.
Heath
And he didn't care. I was like, hey, I don't do the best accent, but I'm just gonna do it because I can't help it.
Zane
You mind if I chime in and do this with you?
Heath
Yeah, you know, I don't care. Just doing. I was all right. Thank God.
Zane
Know.
Heath
It's like, I literally. I literally cannot help it. I can. I didn't have to go home. Oh, I can't. I can't speak in your accent. Sorry. I gotta go home.
Zane
Too bad.
Heath
Sorry. I'm like. I just. I literally. I don't do it in disrespect. I just, like, I.
Matt
It's like when Lindsay Lohan, like, spent so much time abroad, she started, like, speaking in an accent or even, like, Bella Hadid. They, like, interview her after, like, Like a Runway thing in, like, Paris. She goes, oh, the collection was to die for. No.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
What is this?
Heath
This, like. No, but it's like, I. I'm. I'm not gonna lie. If. When you're somewhere for a long time, you just. It changes your. Changes your voice. I was in North Carolina for two and a half weeks. Just two and a half weeks. And I came back, and the Southern act would not leave my body. And I was, like, purposely trying to get out of it to my normal voice, and I couldn't. So I can't imagine someone's out for six months.
Zane
You do pick it up quick. I would imagine, like, being somewhere for years, though. Like, you just. You start adapting. You start becoming part of the community.
Matt
And like, oh, when my cousins moved to Australia, like, because I knew them as Americans and they moved there for 10 years, their accents changed completely. And I was like, what in the world? It's just like, you knew them before, and then now they just. They adapt.
Heath
Imagine like, actors. Actors that are learning a role for like, eight months before a movie, and.
Zane
They'Re like, who's the guy? That was Elvis.
Mariah
Austin Butler?
Zane
Yeah. People ripped him for coming back.
Matt
Like, stuck in it.
Heath
I bet you he couldn't get out of it.
Matt
Hey, it's Austin.
Zane
He is stuck in Elvis.
Heath
He's still stuck in Elvis right now. Damn. That was. I mean, it was a great movie. Actually.
Matt
Ryan Gosling did that too, but he didn't, like, have a role. He did it, but, like, Ryan Gosling, like before the Notebook talked a little differently, and he kind of has this different voice. He's another one of those actors.
Heath
He's. He's. He's from New York, right? New York.
Matt
I don't know. He was always like a little show kid. He was on the.
Zane
Watching him do his little dance routine.
Mariah
Yeah, he was a great dancer.
Zane
It's crazy.
Heath
He's like a little drama kid.
Matt
Kind of like a wannabe Vanilla Ice. Like, hip hop with a little MC Hammer pants.
Zane
Yeah. It's crazy that he was on Mickey Mouse Club as a kid.
Matt
Yeah. Along with all of that. Justin Timberland, Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin. Was he in it? Maybe. Also Kelly Russell, that actress was in.
Mariah
He's from Canada.
Matt
Oh, he's Canadian.
Mariah
He's Canadian.
Matt
But you know what?
Heath
Now it makes sense. It makes sense.
Mariah
I don't. I do not get Canadian.
Heath
When I look. When I look him, I'm like, oh, yep, Canada.
Zane
You can't call it London, Canada.
Heath
There's a city in Canada called London.
Matt
There's a city called Paris, Texas. You know, there's. Or a town.
Heath
I don't like it. I'm not a fan of it.
Matt
Yeah, it's strange.
Zane
It's like, from Miami, Ohio.
Matt
Ew. Oh. Isn't Miami, Ohio, like, a really good university, though?
Zane
I only know Kelly went there.
Matt
University of Miami.
Mariah
She goes, enjoy the.
Heath
I was about to say. Wait, who is that again? That sounds like we're moving.
Mariah
She thought she was moving to Miami. They're like, miami, Ohio. She's throwing out her winter coats. She's like, enjoy the cold. They're like, oh, she thinks she's going to Miami.
Heath
Enjoy the winter cold.
Mariah
I don't think she said. I think she said, losers.
Heath
Oh, we had the. We have the same birthday. That's why we're so alike.
Mariah
Wait, he's November 12th.
Heath
Close enough. Close enough. French Canadian descent. Why don't. Why don't I have that with some German, English, Scottish, and Irish? All right.
Mariah
See your scotch out of this Stop comparing with Eva.
Heath
Guess. Oh, guess what? He got a nose job.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
He used to live next to you. Remember that one time Ryan Gosling waved at me? This is. We probably talked about this years ago, back when you were living over on.
Heath
It was Barry Canyon. Barry Canyon Drive.
Matt
And it's the one tightest corner where you have to wait for someone to come down the hill. And I stopped.
Heath
Anyway, didn't happen.
Matt
Range Rover comes down, windows down, it's Ryan Gosling gives me the wave. And I was like, stars.
Heath
And then he went, Matt King from Vine. He was like, ryan.
Mariah
Ryan Gosling waved at me. He was probably like, go, go.
Heath
What were you driving? What were you driving? The Evoke.
Matt
My Evoke? Yes.
Zane
I have a Range Rover too.
Heath
We had similar gold colored Range Rover.
Matt
Yes.
Heath
Oh, I love bringing this up.
Matt
Oh, sorry, sorry.
Heath
Oh, no. I was gonna say when I saw Amy Poehler driving on Mulholland, it was just so cool. She's literally in the car like this, like that as we're driving. I'm like, oh, my God. She's practicing her line.
Matt
I was at the Burbank airport. Guess who was checking, going through security right in front of me. You.
Mariah
Let's guess.
Matt
You. You wouldn't even know his name, but you know.
Zane
Okay.
Heath
Army Hammer. John Hamm.
Matt
No, no, no, no. A little less than Kieran Culkin. No. You. You even know? I don't even know his name.
Heath
Ms. Juicy Baby.
Matt
A vote for Pedro. I'll make all of your wildest dreams come true. Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre way. Yeah, yeah. He was in front of me.
Heath
Pedro.
Matt
No, Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite.
Heath
What is Kiki Palmer do? I don't know that man. He could be walking down the street.
Matt
And I wouldn't know a thing.
Heath
I wouldn't know a thing.
Matt
Sorry to this man.
Heath
Sorry to this man.
Zane
You never saw Napoleon Dynamite? No.
Mariah
Classic.
Heath
Idiot. There's not one thing about that movie that, like, makes me want to watch it. For some reason, I just. I can't.
Mariah
It's just a classic.
Matt
It's a classic.
Heath
I know. It's a classic.
Matt
Portable movies of all time. Next to School of Rock, I would.
Zane
Say one of the most profitable, too.
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Zane
They got it done for, like, a million bucks, and it ended up making a stupid amount of money.
Heath
I want to make a very cheap movie and get a return like that.
Zane
Before we continue, we want to give a big thank you to our sponsor of this podcast, Cornbread Hemp.

Heath
Those AI skits are crazy.
Matt
Yeah, but no, then they're gonna get so good to. It's funny because you can tell it's AI.
Heath
Yeah, I know you can tell, but it looks just very good so far. Yeah, it just looks really good so far. Like, in two years, you're gonna be. They're gonna be able to start making AI for movies. Like, where they don't need to, like, come up with a whole scene.
Matt
Like, they could just end it just.
Heath
Oh, and the AI Heath and I have been saying this is a jump and AI, it's getting too much.
Matt
I have no problem with it as, like, a personal assistant, but when it's taking away, like, creative work.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
Then we have an issue. Yeah, like the educational personal assistant.
Heath
Those AI skits that, like, we all keep seeing on our feed right now. You know, like, the ones I'm talking about, the really good ones. How long is a. Like, what are they typing in, like, What? Where are they making that?
Matt
It's really good Prompts. Oh, it's what Google just released. I forgot the name of it. It's like, V. I don't know.
Heath
Is it just, like, a chat? Is it a chat GPT forum where you could just, like, type in what.
Zane
You want it to be? You have to be very specific, though.
Matt
Yes.
Zane
You have to literally paint the picture with words.
Heath
What they're wearing, where they're at, what they're driving, just every.
Matt
And what type of camera angles you want.
Zane
Like, you have to be very. You have to, like, be good at making the prompt.
Matt
I wonder how long it takes to generate a video.
Heath
Like, that takes forever.
Zane
Like, even the photos that I'll do on Chat GPT, they take, like, a couple minutes.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
So I would imagine it depends. Did you say we have a game?
Heath
We do have a game.
Matt
Oh, I love games. What is it?
Heath
It's called Mad Gab.
Matt
Oh, I love Mad Gab.
Heath
Mad Gab.
Mariah
The cards.
Heath
The one with the cards. So I played it with a few friends. I love it. It's you pretty much. It's a great, like, audio game and a visual game. So I was like, oh, that's good.
Zane
Joe Santigado does.
Heath
Yes. I. I gave it to Jordan. They.
Matt
So how are we. Is he gonna text us what our Mad Gabs are?
Heath
Yeah. So you're gonna read. You're gonna read mad gaps from, like, our phones, like, and we'll rotate.
Matt
Okay, pretty much.
Zane
All right, send me mine.
Matt
All right, here we go. But we can't look at the screen, though, when you're reading it, right?
Zane
Yeah, you guys don't look just in case, because, like, I don't want you to give it away.
Mariah
No, no, we should look because it's funnier and we can just laugh at you not getting it.
Zane
Oh, okay.
Mariah
Just so we could. Because it's funny to hear it. Hear the person saying it, because we're just. Just like. We'll be able to hear it before you.
Zane
Okay. All right, I have mine. Ready?
Matt
Yes.
Zane
Is Bunch pop. Queer pans.
Matt
SpongeBob SquarePants.
Zane
Is SpongeBob supposed to guess it's heat.
Matt
That's.
Zane
Oh, okay. Well, I'll do. I'll do. I'll do. Don't worry. I'll do another one after.
Matt
Okay.
Mariah
If it's yours, only you are guessing and reading it.
Matt
Got it.
Mariah
But it's funny because you're like, oh, I hear what he's saying. I know.
Matt
I got it. I got it. It.
Zane
All right.
Heath
Zayn Ace Tray. Taste Whodan ace tray taste. Whodan ace tray taste. Whodan ace a trace taste today. Ace trace taste tin. Ace trace taste tin.

It does not sound like anything. Ace stray stay student. A stray stay student.
Matt
You just said it. You got. What word do you think you hear in it?
Heath
None. I don't hear one word in a stray stays.
Zane
Keep going.
Matt
Say it faster.
Heath
A straight stay student.
Mariah
Someone give him a hint. You're good at hints.
Heath
A straight stay stupid.
Zane

Heath

Matt
Okay. Okay. So what we're doing here.
Zane
You got it.

Matt
Yeah.
Heath
An a stray student.
Matt
There you go.
Heath
My report card. A stray student.
Mariah
Okay, there he was. Understanding what he was. A straight A student. Right.
Matt
A straight A student.
Heath
Got it. Wow. Oh, I hate this game. Do you have to keep playing?
Matt
Straight A straight A student.
Mariah
Okay, my turn. Damn. Jordan, this is a novel.
Matt
Whoa.
Mariah

Go finish it.
Mariah

Mariah
Nobody even knows what.
Heath
What it.
Matt
We're having a baby.
Zane
We're having a baby.
Mariah
Oh, I gotta take this thing off. I gotta take this thing off.
Matt
Oh, my.
Zane
Surprise.
Matt
Oh, my gosh. Oh.
Heath
And here's the. Here's the bigger surprise. Mariah, tell him how long you're. How long you've been pregnant for?
Mariah
Four months.
Matt
Are you. Four months? Are you kidding me? Wait. Okay. Okay. Oh, my God.
Heath
He's like. Wait a second. He's like. You took. You took a shot at Coachella.
Matt
I've had suspicious. Well, wait.
Zane
What?
Matt
Wait.
Heath
Well, now you can. Now you can. Now you can talk. Now you can talk about it.
Matt
Oh, my gosh. Congrats.
Zane
We're having the baby in December.
Matt
Oh, my gosh. Do you have, like, a date set or. Wait, we don't even need to get into that.
Zane
Supposed to be, like, December 13th.
Matt
Do you know gender? Yeah, we do, but we're not doing that.
Mariah
No, you want to know?
Matt
Oh, almost.
Heath
So many surprises.
Matt
Wait, does everyone else know the gender? So I have.
Mariah
We're just telling people who ask, but nobody.
Heath
The only people that know or there's only, like, a few people that know.
Zane
Now the world does. We're having a baby.
Heath
We're having a baby, guys.
Matt
I don't know what I would have guessed, because I'm going to be thrilled either way. Girl.
Mariah
It's a boy.
Zane
Yep.
Matt
God, congrats.
Mariah
Thank you.
Zane
Thank you, Matt.
Matt
Congrats. How have you known?
Heath
A week and a half?
Mariah
No, it's been longer than that.
Zane
Did you suspect it's gone by quick? I think I.
Heath
No, I did.
Mariah
I did not video.
Heath
I did not suspect anything because I think she told me before. I feel like she started, like, showing at all.
Zane
The last two weeks, she's.
Heath
The week after she told me, that's when I started noticing. Oh, she's like.
Matt
I could. Well, wait. Can we want to say, like, when we. Yeah. I had suspicions a month ago.
Heath
Before you saw any comment, though?
Matt
No, no, no. It was no comments. It was all my own observations. It was after. Because, remember, there were two episodes.
Mariah
Sorry, really quick, quick. Zayn, you knew May 26th.
Zane
Has it been that long?
Mariah
It's been a month.
Heath
Oh, my God.
Mariah
Yeah. You've known for a long time.
Heath
Holy.
Matt
I'm shaking. When the last time, though, you weren't on two episodes. Were you sick?
Mariah
No.
Zane
No.
Matt
No, you weren't. Oh, okay. But then you came back.
Mariah
We just have so much going on right now. I. I cannot balance anything.
Zane
It's. It's like trying to plan. This move has been very, like, str. Like, it's been a lot. So. So with her being on this podcast, trying to minimize both podcasts and Patreon stuff, like, it's just been a lot. So. Yeah, that's why she wasn't able to make it.
Matt
Okay. Because then it was after that you walked in with a. Sorry, I noticed your boobs have gotten a little tingy, buddy. I'm just saying. She had cut. She came in one time, and I was just like.
Heath
I told Rory. I was like, I don't. I think Matt knows. Because every time I look at Matt, he'll be like. Like, you know, when you. When you. When you suspect someone's pregnant, you're just kind of like. You'll look, and you're like.
Matt
But then I was like, maybe she got. Oh, my gosh.
Mariah
I was gone.
Matt
Yes. And so then I was like, maybe she got her booze.
Heath
You know, she was just before Nashville, you know, just wanted to get it quick.
Matt
And then. But then I was like, she's not pregnant. I had a feeling. Then I had to feel you weren't. But, you know, there were these comments where people were like, mariah's pregnant. That's why I posted, cuz. But I didn't. I.
Mariah
Can I tell you, that is like a. Do not ever guess if a woman is pregnant, because what if I wasn't?
Heath
Yeah. Damn. That's.
Matt
I never once. Yeah. Like, though. Thought in person, though, like, I don't know. Four months, though.
Mariah
Yeah.
Zane
Crazy.
Mariah
I know. I'm wearing Heath's jeans right now.
Heath
We're at the wedding. I kept on looking at you, like, I just feel I got to start telling people because I am showing.
Zane
That's why the dream dress ripped.
Heath
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Matt
Piecing some stuff together where I had suspicions. But then I still felt like it was so early on I would not be getting this surprise now. I can't believe there was a party.
Heath
There was a part of me that was like, maybe we shouldn't talk about the dress ripping, because it's just like. Yeah.
Mariah
So I went back home this weekend to tell my family.
Heath
That's why we just had you.
Matt
How'd you reveal it to them?
Heath
Tell them. Tell them your dad was one.
Mariah
So my sister is pregnant. As you know, she's due October. I'm now due December. It's so weird to be talking about that. Like, it's O. But so we got him a Father's Day gift, and it was two shirts. One said the grandfather in the Godfather font.
Matt
Love it.
Mariah
And then he opened the second one, and it said the grandfather part two.
Matt
Oh, perfect. Perfect.
Mariah
Oh, no, he didn't get it.
Zane
He goes, oh, two shirts.
Heath
I knew it.
Mariah
He was happy to get two of the same shirts. I'm like, oh, that's so wholesome. He was like, oh, nice. I got two.
Heath
I told you. Like, it's going to go right over your dad.
Mariah
Part two. Part two. And then it hit him, and he goes, yeah. He was.
Heath
You know, Mariah. You know, that would have went over my head, too. It would have. That would have.
Matt
Okay, next question.
Heath
Yes, I'm having a baby, too. Yep. We'll take any questions.
Matt
Pregnancy test. Test. Obviously, y' all were trying. Like, this was planned.
Zane
I hate that.
Matt
Pregnancy test. Did you do the test together?
Mariah
Yeah, we did it together.
Matt
One test.
Zane
One and done two at the same time, but for the first time.
Matt
Okay.
Zane
We did two. Just to be like, you did it for sure.
Matt
Okay, got it. You did it with your sister in the room?
Mariah
Yeah.
Matt
Okay.
Mariah
She was like, you got to take a test. I'm like, I was trying to avoid it. I'm like, I kind of knew in the back of my mind, but I was, like, really trying to avoid.
Heath
I don't want to know until I'm.
Mariah
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Zane
She noticed the change because, like, she. She was just hungry.
Mariah
I was starving all day, and I'm like, something's weird. Like, this was the first time. My body, in general is pretty, like, consistent with things. I don't really have a lot of things wrong. I don't have, like, gut issues, like, anything, really. So when something does change, I notice it immediately. I was eating all day when normally I would forget to eat. It would be, like, nighttime. And I'm like, I didn't eat today. Or, like, I'd have breakfast. And I'm like, I'm good till dinner. Dinner. I. Every hour. I was like, I'm. My stomach is eating itself. Like, I need to have food.
Heath
Wow.
Mariah
So my sister was in town, and she goes, you got to take a test and take it while I'm here. Like, it'll be fun. I'm like, all right. So we took it, and she looked at it. She goes, this could not be. This could not say more pregnant. Like, one.
Heath
It was just dark.
Matt
It was at the words.
Zane
Different kind.
Mariah
One Said this one was the stripes. One said pregnant. But she was like, that stripe is so bold. She goes, how far along are you? Like, this is always.
Heath
Wait, is that a thing where the darker it is more.
Zane
Yeah.
Mariah
Sometimes it's very faint, so you don't know.
Heath
Yeah.
Mariah
Good thing I don't drink.
Heath
The way.
Matt
Right.
Heath
The way they. The way they surprised me is it was a lot of emotion because this was the same day they told me they got the house. Right.
Mariah
So there's the same time.
Heath
It was the same. It was the same moment. So they. They're like, oh, we want you to look at the pictures from the house. And it was like, you know the paper that you get when you go to, like, a house showing.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Where like, we took some pictures. Like, when you see, like, what this house? Like, you're going to know the photo when you get there. You'll just see.
Heath
And I saw. I thought it was going to be a room that they never showed on Zillow that they got this. I was like, oh, my God. Like some. Some coffee room. I don't know.
Mariah
I thought it was something because we were in Tennessee. We had already gotten the house.
Zane
But we don't want to tell them.
Mariah
Texting us, what's the update? And I'm like, we'll tell you when we get back. Like, we made it sound like we didn't get it, which is what you.
Matt
Expressed to Patricia and I during the party that one time. Or Patricia was like, are they getting the house? Or whatever. And you go, I don't think so. They're saying, it seems like they're not.
Mariah
Going to get it up to get him to look at the pictures. Like, you'll. You'll know why we didn't get it if you look at the pictures.
Heath
So. So he looks going to the pictures and the picture in the middle is the. Is the sonogram picture. And you know, we freak out, right? And then as soon as, like, it's registering in my head, they go, by the way, we got the house too.
Mariah
They let out the most nervous laugh.
Matt
I was.
Heath
I was so overwhelmed. Filmed. I went to sleep in 30 minutes. I crashed on the couch.
Mariah
Immediately fell asleep for an hour.
Heath
I slept for an hour.
Zane
Surprised him. He had, like, the excitement. And we walked over to the kitchen to go, like, do something for a second.
Mariah
And he's knocked out.
Heath
Knock the fuck out.
Matt
My adrenaline is peaking right now. I still feel like I have tunnel vision and like, I'm high right now.
Heath
Yeah. Crazy.
Matt
Okay.
Mariah
It's a lot.
Matt
Okay. Oh, okay. Who else knows?
Mariah
The hardest thing was waiting because, like, I had to tell my family in person. So to plan that trip, there was so much going on, and I'm. I had to hold it in and not tell anybody because I didn't want people to know before my family, so.
Matt
Right.
Mariah
It was tough. As soon as we told. We told them on Friday, I think as soon as we told them, we called everyone. I. I unbuttoned my.
Zane
We wanted to tell you on the.
Mariah
Podcast, like, obviously, like, we panicked when you said, you're not gonna be here for the next. Oh.
Zane
That's why we were like.
Heath
It was a whole thing.
Mariah
We, like.
Heath
So last episode, we were gonna say. And we're like, let's just save it. And then the end of the episode, you're like, by the way, I'm gone for three weeks. We're like, in three weeks, she's gonna be big as a hot air balloon.
Zane
Boom.
Heath
Guess Mariah is like, guess what? We knew My favorite TikTok.
Zane
You're not gonna believe it.
Mariah
I moved the laptop.
Heath
My favorite video is that on TikTok. The girls all, like, go to the pregnancy and go. And they get.
Matt
Yes.
Heath
Boom. And they're, like, so good. Every time I laugh, it gets me every single time.
Zane
So good.
Matt
Do you do the sonogram out here?
Mariah
Yeah.
Matt
Do you know, do you have, like, a delivery doctor, like, already set for, like, Nashville, or do you have to shop?
Mariah
Not yet.
Matt
We're shop.
Mariah
We're shopping around.
Zane
Once we get there, we will. Yeah.
Matt
Oh, my gosh. You guys are going to be fantastic parents. This is so perfect.
Mariah
Thank you.
Matt
I can't believe December is crazy.
Heath
December is so soon.
Zane
It's going to come.
Mariah
I can't believe it's this year.
Matt
Thank you for revealing it to me. This was so perfect. I love surprises like this, too. No, Sometimes my high school buddies will just call me. They go, guess what? We're having another baby. I'm like, ah, congrats. Would have liked some type of reveal.
Heath
Just get me.
Matt
Oh, perfect.
Mariah
Christmas is canceled this year.
Heath
Yeah, right?
Matt
Do you wait? I got to start a big. I got to start a big blanket.
Heath
We were talking about. I was like, matt's about to make this baby a blanket.
Matt
Right? It shouldn't be that big, right? It'll be the same.
Heath
You'll be surprised. My mom, when she had me, almost killed her. It. I was this big, big old.
Matt
Hit the sonogram itself, though. Were you nervous?
Heath
This.
Zane
Well, it's crazy because, like, she was nine weeks and they Were saying that it's basically the size of, like, a kumquat.
Matt
Yeah.
Mariah
No, smaller than that.
Zane
It was smaller. It was what it. They didn't say the next time was a kumquat. Right. It was like a garbanzo bean or something. Like a bean, llama bean, little garbanzo bean.
Mariah
And our first ultrasound, the arms and legs. I'm like, what?
Zane
We're hearing a harpy, and we thought it was her.
Mariah
Freaked me out.
Zane
And they're like, that's the baby's harpy. And we're like, freaked me out.
Mariah
Yeah.
Matt
Way.
Zane
It was unbelievable.
Mariah
Oh, forget it. When I walked into the doctor's office on the. In a doctor's office, on the speakers, New York, New York, Frank Sinatra playing. I'm like.
Matt
What?
Mariah
He could be due on Frank Sinatra's birthday.
Zane
You never know.
Heath
When is Frank Sinatra's birthday?
Mariah
December 12th.
Heath
Oh, my God.
Mariah
You imagine we have Frank Sinatra reincarnated.
Heath
Oh, yeah, right. What do you name him? Frankie.
Mariah
Yeah.
Zane
Little, like one day when we were recording, like, when we first found out.
Mariah
Out, my Google history was all on.
Zane
This, like, being 10 weeks pregnant. Symptoms, signs, things to expect on the TV.
Mariah
And I was like, the podcast, clear your history.
Zane
This is before you knew it was up on the screen.
Heath
I was like, oh, my God.
Mariah
Right when we found out.
Heath
Mariah, I'm surprised you didn't guess. I wasn't thinking, well, I'm pregnant. All right. I was hungry. Damn, that's crazy.
Mariah
Speaking of.
Matt
Is that you're craving Cheez? Its.
Mariah
No.
Heath
You went right for that basket. Right before we record, I'm like, all right, put that back.
Zane
She hasn't had, like, cravings. She's had, like, the opposite. Things that she doesn't want anymore.
Matt
Sensitive to smells at all.
Mariah
The only thing I don't want is, like, truly junk food and, like, chocolate and desserts and stuff, like fried foods. I just want, like, fruits and vegetables, which I'm so grateful for. I want, like, fruit all day. Just, like, things that are cold, refreshing, like cold salads, cold chicken cutlets.
Heath
Yeah.
Mariah
Are you.
Heath
Are you eating, like, peanut butter on, like, Cheez Its?
Mariah
I'm not eating anything weird yet. It's just all my favorite foods. I just like, normally if I. If I'm thinking about what to eat, I'm like, oh, I don't know what I'm in the mood for. I can think about one of my favorite foods and be like, perfect. I'll do that.
Matt
Got it.
Mariah
I just like to an excess, though. Like, I just go hard, like, Chicken cutlets. I'll knock back like, 10 of them.
Heath
Wow.
Mariah
I get like two bagels every day. It's a whole thing.
Matt
I did not see my day going this way at all.
Zane
All crazy.
Matt
I love it. Oh, my God. How am I going to tell Patricia? I think I'm going to go. We played this hardest game of Mad Gap. I'm just see if like, Steve.
Mariah
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Matt
I'm just going to let her.
Zane
I want to see her react.
Matt
Oh, do you want me, like, film.
Zane
It if you could.
Heath
Oh, yeah, yeah, film it.
Matt
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah, I'll do it. She thinks.
Heath
She thinks it's her. She thinks she's having a baby.
Matt
Oh, no. Like, I, like, I tested her without her knowing. Oh, God.
Mariah
She was like, right at. When she starts flushing, you running behind her.
Zane
I. I did this while you were sleeping.
Matt
Yeah, right. Gotcha.
Heath
Wow. I wonder if that's ever happened before.
Zane
I hope.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
No, wait. If. Imagine a girl pees, the guy takes.
Zane
A second in the toilet down if it. If he did it.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
It has to be like, maybe if.
Heath
The guy is like, a freak. He's like, hey, baby, like, can I collect some of your urine? And she's like, yeah, baby, baby.
Matt
I'm glad I got it. I don't know what it is.
Heath
The way we set it up, I was panicking. I was like, oh, this is so weird.
Matt
This is.
Heath
I was panicking the way it was set up because I was like. Because at first I didn't know that. It was like I came up with the game. So I was like, oh, my God. And then I saw only four. I was like, why do we have only four?
Matt
Jordan, text it to me. Why isn't my. Like, I. I was like, I was getting hot.
Zane
I was like, I was trying to get.
Mariah
I'm like, just forget it. Just show them the picture.
Zane
You're like, do you want to do another one? Cuz I didn't get spongebob. I'm like, no, just keep going. I'll do it after.
Mariah
I'll do it after.
Heath
I was getting so hot.
Mariah
Oh, my gosh.
Heath
Funny. But you. You won't be able to see it though.
Mariah
You're wearing blue.
Matt
I can't believe I didn't even, like, catch it. I didn't wear blue.
Heath
Mariah. I was about to go far.
Matt
You got me both damn times. Even though when you guys got engaged and y' all were like, we got you a boo basket. I believe that completely. I'm like, okay, here we go.
Heath
Just. I Was about to go far and wear, like, a blue and pink outfit.
Matt
But.
Heath
I was about to go there.
Mariah
Definitely clocked it. He would have said something about it.
Heath
No, you know what? I feel like he wouldn't have even been like.
Matt
I would have been like, are you going to a gender reveal party? If I. I would have made that joke in my brain. I would have been like, wait, wait.
Heath
Okay. Maybe you would have caught that. All right, good.
Matt
Wendy, are you wearing maternity wear now?
Mariah
I'm wearing. He.
Matt
Oh.
Mariah
I'm refusing to buy maternity clothes. It's either going to stretch or it doesn't.
Matt
Get into my closet.
Mariah
I just ran into the hoodie sweatshirt.
Heath
Sweatshirt. I was like, damn, you're so.
Matt
Look at me. I'm huge.
Heath
This is the whole fucking curtain.
Matt
Wear curtain.
Heath
Go, go, go, go. Where's this?
Mariah
Last week was the first time I had to go buy new pants. Nothing fits me. Yeah, it's a crazy feeling.
Heath
Like, every time your, like, pants don't fit, you have to wear, like, another, like, bigger pants. Is it more like excitement where it's like, you're getting closer to the day or you're just, like, annoyed? Like, I can't.
Mariah
It's annoying. Pants are expensive.
Zane
Z. I was like, welcome to my. Welcome to my.
Heath
Cuz. It's not exciting for me. I've been doing this for years now. Now you know how it feels, Amy. But. But, yeah, we're all excited.
Matt
Wow, a human is growing.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
Size of a peach right now.
Mariah
Wait, I think you have that app.
Matt
That, like, tells fruit. Yeah, there's one app that, like, it knows, like, your age, and so it'll be like, it's the size of a Pokemon card. It's the size of, like, a Polly Pocket.
Mariah
I'm an apple.
Matt
Oh, my God.
Heath
An apple. An avocado.
Matt
How long are you gonna keep names, like, a secret? Secret?
Mariah
We haven't started brainstorming names until we just got to my parents, like, a couple days ago. So that was the first time we made, like, a list.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
We have, like, stuff that we like, but there's nothing that we're, like, set on yet. It's kind of just, like, still up in the air.
Matt
It'll come to you, and it's wild. Sometimes you change it, like, a week before you're like. You know what they say?
Mariah
Try not to, because your hormones are crazy. And you name it something, and then, like, you finally come down from it, and you're like, why the frig did I name.
Matt
Oh, it is a huge thing.
Mariah
That's what Happened to Kylie Jenner when she named him Wolf. She, like, came down from, like, the high and she was like, what the freak was I thinking?
Matt
Oh, yeah, she did.
Heath
What's it now?
Mariah
Air.
Matt
Okay, well, stop.
Heath
It's a cute name. It's a cute name. It's not for everybody. It's a cute name.
Mariah
Even people that, like, will design their nurseries when they're about to pop, they're just. They look back at it, they're like, it. Why did I go? Why did I go this direction? And they change everything.
Matt
Ah, yeah. Certainty and commitment on the vision. Vision. And. Yeah. The less doubt.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
It's just so crazy.
Matt
Four months.
Mariah
I know. It's crazy.
Matt
Well kept.
Heath
You guys. You guys were.
Zane
You guys were like, we're literally halfway done.
Matt
Yeah. Right there.
Mariah
Second trimester.
Matt
It's gonna be here before we know it.
Heath
You guys weren't lying about not having a baby in la. You've been saying it for a long time. I just didn't think it was going to be true.
Zane
Well, it kind of did. Like, so we found out and, like, it kind of did put the pressure on getting over to Tennessee faster because we weren't expecting, like, because our lease is up in February. So we were like, okay, when we get out there. But that's what I was thinking too.
Matt
In my brain, where I go, well, they just got the house. There's no way she's pregnant right now. It's going to be once they move.
Heath
I kept telling Patricia in my head, too. I was like, there's no way.
Matt
Patricia has been this. I'm like, you're. You're delusional. She's not pregnant.
Mariah
I would, like, I think of the timeline and if we were to, like, wait until we moved, say it was February, I. I'd be 32 when my first was born. And I want, like, a lot of kids.
Matt
Yeah.
Mariah
So that, like that trying to get.
Zane
Like a head start.
Mariah
Yeah. I'm already gonna be 31, so.
Matt
Always doing parent math in my head. Always, always where I'm just like, oh, my gosh. Yeah. Yeah.
Zane
We were hoping for twins, but you know what?
Heath
I think we are coming in a time that. Where people are having kids older. I feel like our generation is having. Yeah.
Zane
Very much so.
Matt
Oh, my gosh. Congrats. Mazel tov. All of it. That is.
Mariah
Thank you.
Matt
Unbelievable. You guys are great. Number rock. You are gonna rock. It's a blessed baby.
Zane
Yeah. We're excited.
Mariah
Excited.
Zane
It's gonna come quick.
Matt
I'm gonna be thinking about this all Day. Yeah, I can't.
Zane
It's like, obviously, like, we know it, but it still hasn't, like, really, really kicked in yet. I feel like when I see her, she's got like a full blown, like, baby day.
Mariah
When it's like, it's fullest.
Zane
You're like, crazy.
Mariah
Whatever. My next post is all the com. I knew it. I knew it, I knew it.
Zane
Everybody's gonna.
Mariah
I'm gonna block those words from the comments. I knew it. I called it right.
Heath
I'm blocking the words. Relations. I'm blocking the words.
Mariah
Wait, I noticed she gains weight.
Heath
Mercury's in retrograde.
Zane
If we were a girl and yeah, I was pregnant. No, but the amount of people that would have been saying it about us with our weight gain and oh, yeah.
Heath
The way we fluctuate.
Mariah
Just don't say anything. It's really rude.
Heath
Oh, my God.
Matt
Congratulations.
Heath
How many months are we people?
Matt
Just that grace period of, like, early stages of pregnancy, too. Like, that's great. You waited till like, four months. It's still sometimes so early to even announce or confirm things and get people talking. Because things happen in pregnancy.
Zane
You don't know.
Matt
It's just. You want to wait until you're at a stable place for you to come forward and share your announcement to the world.
Heath
Exactly.
Matt
That's right.
Zane
Let people make the announcement instead of announcing it for them or telling them that.
Heath
Yeah, because what if she still didn't know she was pregnant?
Mariah
I didn't. The first comments, I'm like, why are people commenting this? I'm like, this is so. And I literally was like, I know. I ate a lot for lunch and it's a terrible angle.
Heath
Date.
Matt
Wow.
Heath
Sorry about that.
Zane
But that brings us to our next point of the episode.
Heath
Since we're on such a high.
Zane
Since we're on a high, this is going to be Mariah's last episode with us forever.
Mariah
Forever.
Heath
Forever.
Matt
Stop. Wait. You can't give me a high and give me a low.
Zane
It had to be a sandwich.
Heath
Yeah, I know. So this was. This is Mariah's last episode.
Zane
We have a lot going on with the move instead of stuff. And it's going to be, I'm a housewife, Matt.
Matt
Come back for, like, some special episodes.
Mariah
See if I could fly.
Matt
Right, Right. So wait.
Zane
But yeah, so we're scheduling the move for the next couple weeks, so it's going to be happening really, really fast.
Heath
That's it. That's it.
Zane
So make sure to give Mariah a bunch of love in the comments.
Heath
Everybody wish her luck on the next few months until December.
Zane
Oh.
Mariah
Funny. I was always the funny.
Heath
Yeah. I. I think as soon as we found out she was pregnant, we're like, it's.
Zane
It's a lot.
Matt
It's tough.
Mariah
I'll still be a part of it. I'll be. I'll still be editing. Editing behind the scenes. So I'll be there in spirit.
Heath
Yeah. But I mean, look, how long have you been on here for?
Zane
Five years.
Heath
Five years.
Matt
I feel like a sibling that's being told. Like, you're getting a sibling. And also, we're moving and you're in high school. Like, it's great news, but I don't know.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
Okay.
Mariah
Yeah, it just makes sense.
Heath
Yeah, we. I. I think we just wanted to do it on this episode. It, like, so.
Zane
Right. It's gonna be. Instead of both of us trying to fly back and forth, like, obviously with a newborn, it's gonna be very, very difficult.
Matt
Yes. It makes total sense. I even was thinking, like, yeah, this has been.
Mariah
I'm excited. Like, when we do move and he's flying back and forth, like, when he's out of town, I get mo. I find, like, a project. So, like, when he flies out, I'm gonna, like, unpack one of the rooms and get it all set up, and then he'll come back and then he'll fly out. Like, I don't know. It'll be a nice. I'll have help in Tennessee. Like, it'll. Everything's gonna be.
Matt
It'll be a good rhythm.
