Power.Com awards what's better, Poppy or Ollie?
Zane
Poppy.
Matt
Whoever will pay me more.
Zane
No, Poppy is, I think so much better than Ollie Pop.
Matt
Yeah. No, a puppy.
Zane
Yeah, but Poppy like it. It's. It's.
Matt
And they throw good parties.
Heath
Okay.
Matt
A Poppy party.
Zane
Oh, I've never been to a Poppy party.
Matt
Oh, my. Last time I was there, Olivia Munn was there.
Zane
All right. Poppy party.
Matt
And they had, they had poppy flavored, like Slurpees. Delicious. And you could eat that cuz you know it's a prebiotic.
Zane
Yeah, yeah.
Matt
Good for the gut.
Zane
Exactly.
Matt
Good for the gut.
Zane
How. How are we doing? We feeling good? I know you're. I know you're still sick.
Matt
Yeah, I have like, the cold. A cold. A mild cold.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
I'm worried it's getting worse. How long do colds last for you?
Heath
A few days? Yeah, like three, four days.
Zane
That's the same for me. Three, three, four days.
Matt
Three, four days. But when you Google how long a cold last, it's like seven to ten days.
Zane
I'm like, well, yes, it could still be in your system. You just don't feel it.
Heath
So I, I get that feeling bad the first day. Second day you're like, o, something's not right. Third day you're like, I'm sick. So maybe you kind of got the intro and outro, but you still like.
Zane
If you're like, if you feel like, like the fourth day or fifth day, if you feel like, good again, try not to like, go too hard because Your body's just getting out of it. You don't want to like, right.
Heath
Just sit in the. When whenever I get sauna in the sun is amazing. The sun.
Matt
Yeah, good point.
Heath
Feels so much better.
Matt
That heals you.
Zane
It does. I send like, I. I mean, I sit in the sun every day and I swear it gives me just this unbelievable natural, amazing energy.
Matt
Say just get that sun where it.
Zane
Don'T shower, don't shot. It is. No, I do. Ever since Todd told me, like, he does it every morning. I'm like, why do you like he'll sit out there like this for? I was like, you don't like. Why do you do that? I know he's not getting a tan. He' just like makes you feel. But you just got to do it. Trust me. And I did it. I started doing. I'm like, wow. Yeah, you're right. It makes you. It just, it gets you up. It makes you like. Because when you're just sitting at home inside all day, you just feel like just tired all day. And the moment you just sit in the sun, you start sweating. You get back in the house, you feel like it's a pool day. But like it just gave you just like, you just bounce up. You just want to now you just want. You feel like you want to go out and just like take on the day.
Matt
This sounds like. I know everybody does it, but. But I can't believe I don't do it that often. But I did it the other day. I'm like, why don't I do this more often? Just driving with the windows down. I don't ever roll down my windows.
Zane
I don't either.
Matt
And then I did it on my, like, way home and I'm like, gosh, I feel amazing. I. It was just this huge. But my brain, it's never in my habit to roll the windows down.
Zane
I don't know.
Matt
It makes me feel amazing.
Zane
You know why I don't roll it? Because I'm playing music. And I don't want to be rude and have music playing out with my windows down because I just.
Heath
You also blast music louder than anybody I have ever heard in my life.
Matt
Insane. Yeah.
Heath
Zane. I do windows up.
Matt
That green light I want pulls into.
Heath
The garage, through his car, through the garage walls, down the hall, into my bedroom. And it's like, it sounds like there's a boom box underneath my door. I was like, damn, he's getting it right now.
Zane
The thing is that you don't hear it's. It's not loud in the Car, I think because the room is. You're right next to the garage.
Heath
No, Bl. Zayn, I just don't think your ears are very good.
Zane
No, I'm. I'm telling you right now, it is not in full blast.
Matt
Consider it.
Zane
It's. It's. No, I'm like, I dead ass. It's, it's. It's as loud as you would put your music in your car. I promise you it's not loud. It's only halfway. It is not loud.
Matt
I promise you. If I'm pulling up to an intersection and if I see there's people like standing around, I'll turn it down and then turn it up. I'm. I'm adjusting, but it made me feel a little good. Yeah.
Heath
Windows down does feel really nice. I'm not a sunroof guy though.
Matt
Yeah. Yes. I would never have, I don't think like provide that much. Like, I don't know, I had a Jeep.
Zane
I never, I never took the tops down.
Heath
I don't think that it. It really does that much.
Matt
I don't like convertibles.
Zane
I also like my hair. I wear a hat all the time, so I don't my hat flying off. My hair just doesn't look nice when I'm driving.
Matt
I want the privacy, like. But people with convertibles, you're asking to be looked at.
Zane
Yeah. And you're also like, most likely probably good looking too. If you're tossed her down, you.
Heath
You have to wear a hat. You can't just let your hair be flowing. You shit's everywhere.
Zane
No, but people. No good looking people do let their hair flow though.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Because you always, you look. You always look gorgeous. They don't matter.
Matt
You can't have like a decent conversation. Driving in a convertible way down the highway sucks. Like, what?
Zane
Especially in a Lamborghini. If you're in a lo. Sports car, you're done. Like you can't hear a. You're like in a nightclub.
Heath
I feel like there's only one spot for a convertible and it's doing like five miles an hour down the beach.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Yes.
Heath
Yeah, that's it.
Matt
Of course.
Zane
That deserves the top down.
Heath
Doing 65 on a highway with the top down is just miserable.
Matt
What car do you think sells the most amount of convertibles every year?
Zane
Because Mustang.
Matt
A Mustang? Yeah. A Mustang I think would be the top convertible. But what's the. Yeah. What's the model car?
Heath
I would say I'm not good with models. Are we doing hardtop convertible or just any convertible?
Matt
Well, obviously every car that is a convertible has a hardtop version. But what is the.
Heath
No, no, A hard top convertible.
Zane
I love getting.
Matt
Okay, right.
Heath
Like, some of the BMWs have, like, the hard top, and it looks like.
Matt
With my rack top down so my hair can flow. The girly on standby, waiting just to say hi.
Heath
Did you stop?
Matt
So I don't. But I bet you're telling me that the ones that are rack tops don't even come with a hard top option.
Heath
No. So there's a hard top car.
Matt
Okay.
Heath
Like just regular. Just a coupe. There's a convertible, which is a rag top, but they have a convertible hard top.
Matt
Okay, so what are your guesses then? I'll let you guess both of them. I want to say convert.
Heath
Mazda. Miata.
Matt
Oh, good one. Damn it.
Heath
That's what I would guess.
Zane
Mustang. Yes.
Matt
Saying Amiata.
Zane
Oh, wow.
Matt
Okay.
Zane
Look at that. We were. All right. We all sing. That's amazing.
Matt
Okay, should we run that intro?
Heath
Let's get into it.
Zane
No, no intro today.
Matt
Oh, okay.
Zane
Yeah, let's roll it. It's coffee towel, baby.
Matt
Ow.
Zane
Hey, we're still in season six. It's O. Welcome back to Zayn and Heath Unfiltered. I'm Zayn.
Heath
I'm Heath.
Matt
I'm Matt. And we.
Zane
And we. And we wish Mariah was here. Sounds lame.
Matt
A little bit. It says a little bit more.
Heath
And we're here.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
And we're having a good time.
Zane
Maybe. Maybe I just spiritually. Warmerai here every episode. Is that hard to ask?
Heath
I miss my wife.
Zane
She died. She has passed.
Heath
Stop.
Zane
She has passed on the show, and we just want to forget about her. That's just unbelievable.
Heath
See, Matt couldn't even take it that he just got up and left.
Zane
He just. Did he need to, like, piss or something?
Heath
You okay, Matt?
Matt
I just had a toot.
Zane
Oh, yeah. That's nice, guys. He's respectful for not only us, but you guys. He didn't want you guys to smell that. It's really nice. Was it, like, a really bad. A lot of protein today. Oh, okay. Was it a good one? Was it, like a nice, like, quick one or a long one?
Matt
Oh, no, it was audible for sure.
Zane
Audible. Oh, okay. It made your cheeks sing a little bit. All right.
Matt
All right.
Zane
A little bit.
Matt
But you know what? Everybody. Everybody toots, you know, not everybody, really. There's. There's people out there who I like.
Zane
I literally can. I can't imagine. Like, Olivia Muntudin.
Matt
I'm sure she does.
Zane
I don't think so.
Matt
I'm sure She.
Zane
I think. I think a girl, if she chooses not to ever want to fart, I think she can.
Heath
You think she has the option?
Zane
Because if you think about it, you can hold in your fart.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
Whenever you want. Like, if you need a fart, you can hold it in and you just don't fart. I think girls are just holding in their fart at all times. They're like, I will not.
Matt
I think, what a fart. Time and places to release it, you know?
Zane
Do you think Olivia Munn's just like.
Matt
Oh, why are we focused about Olivia Munn here?
Zane
Do you think Olivia Munn's by herself? She's just like, oh, I got a nasty one.
Matt
And she goes, oh, John Mulaney is.
Zane
Just like, no, John Wayne is not around. This is her by herself. She's like, I want to let a nasty one out and I want to smell it after. All right, Heath, be honest with me. How do you always have energy for this podcast with all the crazy things we do in it?
Heath
Say, come on, baby. That's the easy question. You know, accelerator, active energy gets me there, baby. It', sugar. 100% natural caffeine and no crash. And that's why I'm always locked in all day, all the time, anywhere, any place, same baby.
Zane
I cracked one before the podcast and I'm basically a productivity ninja. It accelerates your metabolism, enhances focus, and tastes insane to the membrane.
Heath
You can grab it right now on Amazon. Just scroll down to our bio, click the link, and get accelerated.
Zane
Accelerated, baby. Thank you, Accelerate, for sponsoring this podcast. We love you so much, and thank you for keeping us focused, caffeinated, and wild.
Heath
We love you.
Matt
How was. Did you guys see Weapons?
Zane
Yes, we did.
Matt
You like it? What? You didn't like it?
Zane
Okay. No, I. I thought everything was really great. The cinematography, the act, the casting, the storyline. Really good. I love how they went back and forth. I'm not gonna spoil anything. I like how they went back and forth between the characters. Like Point of Views. That was really cool. Every time a new one started, I looked at Heath. I'm like, I love where this is going.
Heath
I love there was some on edge moments, you know?
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
It one. I wouldn't consider it to be a horror. It was not a. It was a thriller. Like, the way they promoted it was like, this is gonna be a horror. That's how that. I feel like that's how most of us really saw that trailer.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Jokier than I thought it was gonna be.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Oh, yeah. There was something there.
Zane
Were some moments where I was like, I love that.
Matt
Cool.
Zane
There needs to be a little comedy. But then it got to the point where it's just like, oh, this is like, turning into like a.
Heath
The. The ending. Like the Ferris Bueller's.
Matt
Yeah, yeah. Wait. Exactly.
Zane
We went with Jared. If we went with Jared to watch it last night and was like, this feels like Ferris Bueller's day off in the end. And I was like, oh, my God, it is.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
When they're running through the neighborhood again, we're not. I'm not spoiling anything, but like, when they're running through the neighbor, you're just like, what? Like the whole neighbor, the whole neighborhood, the whole movie theater was laughing.
Matt
And I'm like, there's.
Zane
I don't. It was funny, but a part of me was, like, upset because, like, I was ready to be shocked. Like, I was watching again. The creators of Barbarian. That's how they promoted creators of Barbarian. We're like, holy. This is gonna.
Matt
Barbarian's pret. Like, funny as well.
Zane
It's. It is. But my. It is crazy, though.
Matt
It's.
Zane
Yeah, it's spooky. It gives you a right amount of spooky. Thriller and crazy. This one was kind of like, all.
Heath
Right, it was fun.
Matt
Okay, out of five.
Zane
Three. Okay. 4.0 out of five.
Matt
Decent. Yeah, I give it four.
Zane
Yeah, you again. But you know what?
Matt
Horror movies, a lot. So many horror movies. Majority of horror movies that come out.
Zane
Are assigned are bad, but only in the end they're ass. They do a pretty good job with the lead up. Well, not most. Sorry.
Matt
A lot of them. Yeah. No other really, for Zach, for that guy to make that movie, to understand different perspectives, to have a whole different storyline that adds up in all three different ways to keep.
Zane
Okay, you're right. Yeah, yeah, you're right. You're right. I think the ones I've seen, the.
Matt
Ones I've seen I don't watch cannot do that. A lot of people think they can make a horror movie like that. They can't. But yeah, that was my take.
Zane
3 point letterbox said 3.4 out of 5.
Matt
3.4.
Zane
That's how they get you. They get you with a high. The high score. Everybody. Like, the amount of people. I'm just so. The amount of people that I trusted on my stories, talking about it. That's. That's. That's who really.
Heath
People were saying, movie of the century movie.
Zane
I was like, come on. Oh, you know, they were saying that. Like, I. I was like, I saw people with, like, it will change your life. This is going to change it. But I was like. And I was like, you know what? I was like, heath, I'm going to drag you to the movie theater because I need you to see this with me.
Matt
Did you have a cherry baby soda? Yes, we did. Good. So we.
Zane
No, we know we had. I think it's because we had. It was all diet.
Heath
It was good. It was.
Zane
Right. Everything was diet. And I think that's why we didn't get to really experience the true 010.
Heath
It was good, but I felt like a kid.
Zane
Yeah, it felt like you were.
Heath
It felt like I mixed every.
Matt
Like. So, yeah.
Zane
Possibility that the syrup wasn't right on a couple. It could have been.
Heath
Never know.
Zane
But we. We know when we both tried it, we're like, okay, this is not what Matt had.
Matt
You're right. Classic Sprite.
Zane
Exactly. Exactly. I feel like we should have just went, like, traditional just to really experience the flavor. So we're not gonna say we didn't like it. I don't think we had it yet.
Matt
Well, I'll mix it up for you guys next time.
Zane
We're also in a rush, too. We were a little late. We got the whole damn movie theater we bought. Not everything. You know the people that just feast at Subway on me. I. On the way, I got a Subway.
Matt
I put in my food waste sandwich full foot long. I was starving.
Zane
I was starving. So I was like, we have to stop for a sub.
Matt
What kind of sub do you get?
Zane
I. It was all turkey and ham. It was literally.
Heath
We were on the very end, too. So it was every 5 sec. We. We got in and it was this. The amount of people in that came.
Zane
After us, too, which is crazy. We're late.
Heath
Same.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Every seat full, I'm sure. But we had every snack on us, so we're, like, trying not fun.
Zane
It was really. I think I've never had more food ahead of time on us as a group.
Heath
I'm gonna eat ahead of time, though. I didn't. I didn't really care for that.
Zane
Yeah.
Heath
I liked my snacks, though.
Matt
What snacks did you get?
Heath
Okay.
Zane
Nerd ropes. I mean, cluster Nerds.
Heath
Nerd cluster. Cookie dough bites. Bunch of crunch.
Matt
And y' all are going diet on this soda, all this candy. Y' all having a feast. But no, we had to go diet. Isn't that crazy?
Zane
What is that?
Matt
Like, that is crazy that we do that. There is something, Matt, you don't understand.
Heath
It's you. You have to balance it out.
Matt
You do have to balance it, sacrifice something.
Heath
I would have gone, non. Like, no candy. Regular soda.
Matt
Butter on the popcorn, too.
Heath
No, no.
Zane
What do you want? It was pre buttered. No, it was pretty buttered. But he did go, you want to put more butter on there? I was like, no, Heath. We. We had a whole box of candy. It was like, no, I don't get.
Heath
To go to them often, but I.
Zane
Did get myself a Zero Sugar gummies that they had there. Wonderful, wonderful. I ate the whole damn bag.
Matt
Gummies? What kind of gummies were they?
Zane
It was like Welch's Zero Sugar. But, like, yeah, it felt good. It felt good knowing I walked out of that. I walked out of that theater.
Matt
I walked out of that theater.
Zane
I walked out of that theater, and I had no sugar in me, Matt.
Heath
Until we came home and he got into everything. He was grabbing my cookies from the pantry. He was in my Cookie Dough Bites.
Zane
There's something when Heath is also in the house and he's comfortable and he's like, looks at me.
Heath
My cereal was taken out. His slumber party cereal.
Matt
It's a slumber party. No.
Heath
We watched a really good movie last night. Like, probably the funniest movie. Like, Dead Ass. The funniest movie I've seen in, like, 10 years.
Zane
We were. Did you see the video that.
Matt
The new War of Wait? Yeah.
Zane
It was just a small little clip. I needed to send you that because I wanted, like, you to see, like, Heath laughing. It was the funniest. We're gonna put a clip here.
Heath
We were hysterical, Matt.
Zane
It was. It was excruciatingly the absolute worst movie that's ever been put out.
Heath
Just saying that.
Matt
They say it is the worst movie.
Heath
Of the year ever made.
Zane
Not of the year ever made. It is worse than the room.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Yes. Matt. It is unbelievable, people. What it is. It's okay. So I think prime put out this movie. The cast was Ice Cube, Eva Longoria. Evil. Longer. I'm so sorry. And it was like, one more person. I forgot a couple more people. And my God, the whole thing is like they were trying to do a new searching or, you know, the searching movie. Missing.
Matt
Yes. It's, like, all done from a computer.
Zane
Screen, you know, I'm not a big fan of. But, like, I watch a couple of them, like, they fucking execute this.
Matt
Missing is good.
Zane
It's a. It's a risk making a movie like that. A huge risk. When everything's from the computer. Risk. It's a huge risk making a movie like that. And I was like, okay, this is a risk.
Matt
Let's see.
Zane
And I forget who was it with Jared. You're like, hey, you guys got to watch this movie where all the worlds were like, okay, let's watch. Was.
Heath
The entire thing was like if you were to make an hour and a half long promo video for Amazon prime.
Matt
And that's what it was.
Zane
But not only that, imagine you went to Chad GPT and you went, make me a movie. It was in a form of. Through a desktop. You're watching the world being taken over by aliens and you got. It was one revision. There was no revision. It's not like you went back. You're like, all right, try doing this. It was what Chad GPT decided to make for you after one round of like, what you want.
Heath
The PS1 graphics are better than the CGI that they had in this movie.
Zane
It is, Matt. It's truly remarkable.
Matt
I. I would probably even released it.
Zane
Yes.
Heath
Apparently they made it during COVID So they sat on it. I think they knew. So bad. And they were like, it.
Zane
Let's just make this a. Like, they should. I think they should have went more towards like the ad for Amazon. You know what I mean? Like, because it was so bad, they should have made it a giant commercial. Actually.
Heath
It was so bad. We were dying. Laughing the entire time. I never laughed so hard in my life.
Matt
Looks like he is struggling to get his words out.
Zane
And you. There's something. I don't know why. And I feel bad because, you know, Ice Cube is great. I love Ice Cube. But like. Like when you look at his glasses, you swear he's reading the script the whole time. You just seems like it's got on the glasses. In my head, I was like, if that's the case, why you have glasses on? You should have got rid of those glasses.
Heath
It seemed like nobody wanted to act in it.
Zane
The thing they knew though, I think how much.
Matt
What was even the 100 million. There's no way it's.
Heath
That's what they were saying.
Matt
200 million for a movie that it's a POV.
Zane
That's what the. Like a. A source said. But we're not.
Matt
There's just original War of the Worlds was probably.
Zane
It was less than that.
Matt
Like the one from.
Zane
It was like 137.
Heath
It looked like it cost like 15 grand.
Matt
Oh, yeah. The clips that I saw, what's it really 3%.
Zane
I don't even think it deserves 30%. Guys, if you're listening right now and you have not seen this movie, I go to you get a group together get stoned. You do. And grab some good snacks, have a pizza party, and just have a good night.
Heath
Before we continue, we want to give a big thank you to our sponsor of this podcast, Cash App.

Heath
Thank you, Cash App, for sponsoring this podcast. We love you.
Zane
I'm glad that it's, like, not mediocre or like, I'm glad it's so bad where, like, people can actually have fun and watch this movie. It's like there's a whole new meaning for this movie. It's kind of like that Madam Web movie, you know, everybody was just like, you got to watch it.
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Zane
It's so terrible that it's good. Good. This one took. It took that cake by like 10, 000 times.
Heath
Just so you say, it didn't make any sense.
Matt
It could be the new Madame Web where it's so bad, it's kind of by far by.
Zane
It's, it's, it's okay. Or maybe this is the Madame Web of this style. You know what I mean?
Matt
Yeah, definitely.
Zane
It could be just like, you want to watch an end of the world movie, you got to watch War 2025.
Matt
They called it the exact War of the world.
Zane
I want, want. I, I, I want to watch Tom Cruise watch this movie and just, and have a heart attack. Because I was like, how can you go from what Tom Cruise made with Dakota Fanning insane to that to that?
Heath
But we had a.
Zane
Do you think I do you think I do you think evil and green Ice Cube. I know that, like, they got paid already, but once, once they do their thing, they, there's not much. They. But do you think they were like, hey, is there any way we can knock this movie out?
Matt
I bet they, they probably did not want it to come out.
Zane
I, I wouldn't. Yeah, I wouldn't. Like, imagine you got your first acting gig and it was this, like, oh, I'd be bombed.
Matt
At least the name sounds like the other one as well. So.
Zane
Yeah, but then that's like your, your large shoes or you're about to fill right now. You know what I mean?
Matt
Right.
Zane
They could have just named it.
Matt
You know, the War of the Worlds. Like, the first time, like, it came out, it was like, I think it was a book. And then it was a radio script back in, like, the day before.
Zane
Okay.
Matt
TV and the Internet and stuff. And people were listening to it on the radio, thinking that it was actually happening. The whole world had a mass panic thinking that aliens were attacking all of these cities and everything. Oh, people were like, shooting guns up into the sky and stuff.
Zane
Wait, when was this?
Matt
I want to say 30s. Wow. Around that time.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
And then they had to be like, no, because that was back during radio shows. People would just listen to stuff. It was like a mini movie, but people kept thinking it was the actual news because in the radio script, they thought it was the news.
Zane
Damn.
Matt
So I think that's how it happened. Hd Orson Welles, or. No, that was the first movie, or someone's. H.G. wells was the novel. And then, yeah, it was aired 1938.
Zane
38.
Matt
Like, right before Halloween. So, yeah, a little, A little.
Zane
A little Halloween spooktacular.
Matt
Love it.
Zane
But yeah, that was our night.
Heath
And I, I thoroughly enjoyed watching that with you.
Zane
Yeah, that was, that was really great. Great. I, I won't. For. I won't forget that.
Heath
Never.
Zane
Yeah, I'll never forget that. That was a truly. It's. And I this. And it kind of bummed me too because there's so many movies I feel like get denied by prime, you know.
Heath
Like, and the fact that they let.
Zane
This go through, it's, it's just, and I know prime really spent money on it. Like they, they put the money into it, right? But it's like now you just showed us that, like, oh, there could have been so many better, better other options.
Heath
It's just crazy the amount of flaws in it. Like the story just made no sense too. Like, like stopped working. But for some reason the Amazon drone delivery guy could fly his drone.
Zane
My favorite.
Heath
But other planes weren't where it was just like, dude, it makes no sense.
Zane
Not my favorite part of the whole thing that we just kept on laughing at. And we don't know why they kept doing this. So, you know, obviously they're like zooming in, zooming out. They would, they would, would do a scene where like he's, he's all right, talk to you later. And it's like 9:13, right? 9:13am it would zoom into 9:13 and then it would fade in and fade out to 9:18 and zoom back down. And he's like, all right, where are we at? And it's like, why did we just have a whole three second scene of you fading the time to seven? Like you, like, they didn't need to do that. It was like so pointless. But they kept on doing that and it was like, like it was just immediate laughter every time they did it. Like, it was almost like they did it on purpose. Like, oh, this is funny. We should do this for the audience they'll laugh at.
Matt
They knew it was bad, so they're like, let's just make it worse. And then we got a real gem on our hands.
Zane
Just keep going, keep going.
Heath
Probably getting a lot of people watching it though, based solely on how bad.
Zane
It is and recomm I, I, I, I think that we'll get a lot of people watching this. They're going to see a spike. They're, they're, they're going to be scared. I'd be scared too. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know. And the, I mean the rating is hilarious. I've never seen it like that on Prime. It's 2.6,000 reviews and all at 2. I've never seen that on like, normally a really bad movie. You'd see like 200 reviews or 40 reviews with like one star. But this one had like over 2 000. Which is, like, really crazy to see because they had it up. They were like, it was a. There was a billboard of Prime. Like, they put that up there. Like, please watch this. We need our money back. Did we pay for it or. It's free. It's free. It's Prime. Damn. You know, Damn. They should have charged for that. Hey, guys, the only movie on Prime.
Heath
I would have paid 20 bucks for it. I would have resident.
Zane
We gotta make the money back. We gotta make them. I would have started GoFundMe for that. Please.
Matt
I just want to know what it's like being that director who's like, I finished it.
Heath
It seems like they all just gave up.
Matt
You're at the premiere. Like, we have been working on this for a long time. It's been such a great process. Ice Eva. It's just unbelievable, you know? You know, I was just a kid with the dream. And it's just really cool getting to take this incredible franchise continue for you guys. Guys. So enjoyed the show.
Zane
Is that who made it? Oh, God. I feel bad. Oh, God.
Matt
And you're going around the happy. The cocktail hour after. So what do we think? Everyone's, like, interesting. Why is everyone leaving? Was it the movie? Babe, you'd be honest with me?
Zane
And look, we. We understand there are bad movies out there, but this one was just like, awesome. Takes the cake.
Matt
Damn.
Zane
It was awesome. And highly recommend it.
Matt
And then that sucks. So when you're a director, though, and you get a bomb movie, you might not ever get another movie ever. Like, no one ever wants to trust you to direct another.
Zane
You know what? I feel like it's. It was. It was such a terrible movie, though, where they. I feel like they do have, like, another awesome chance because his name is everywhere. Like, this is the guy that made. This is the guy that made the worst movie. I, I, We.
Heath
We have to get another Redemption.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Yeah. This is Redemption.
Matt
Would you rather make a movie that. That is critically, really good, but it's a box office failure or a box office hit that's really, really bad?
Zane
I think critical critic.
Matt
Critically.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Not a box office.
Zane
Yeah. Because I think it's more respected that the critics love it more than.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Right. I think it depends on, like, the type of movie.
Matt
I want to win some awards.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
For the studio. And they're like, we don't care if your movies don't make us money. We like that you win us the awards.
Zane
We want this. Like, we want this as part of our. I feel like our.
Heath
Does that happen a lot though.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Is that like a thing where it just doesn't do well but like, like people love it. Like I you.
Matt
The studios have to bank that. Other movies that they're approving of and giving money will make them money, but some directors, they know that there might come at a loss, but it goes down as being like an iconic film. It's on.
Zane
I feel like it's a risk too. Like, you know, if you're making a Transformers movie, you know, like it doesn't have to be the best movie. But you know, everybody.
Matt
Redemption did not do well at the box office at all. It was also. It came out the same weekend as I believe Forrest Gump up another huge movie. Maybe like Jerry Maguire.
Zane
That one did well in the box office.
Matt
Well. But Shawshank Redemption lost. Like no one was talking about it. And then when it went on to straight to video, everyone was renting Shawshank Redemption. It became a huge hit awards. But now we live in a day and age where, I don't know, sometimes movies get really successful just once, once they hit streaming versus.
Zane
It is crazy though. I mean songs too, they. They're so hidden when they. You really get released. And then like years down the road, somebody.
Matt
Yes, somebody.
Zane
Tick tock out of there. They're like, this song is amazing. Yeah. It's like it gets.
Heath
She was probably so confused. Spotify check. The next month was just 500 times more than the previous months. It was like what is going on?
Zane
But how exciting though. It's like that. That's how you know, like wow. You know, I did. I should have pat. I should have gave myself more credit back then. I probably like. She probably thought it was like not a hit. Yeah, like she knows like in her heart. It was such a good song and it was a good song. You just needed to.
Heath
You just needed 40 years in between it.
Zane
Yeah.
Heath

Matt
How is Mariah doing with her pregnancy?
Heath
She's doing really good. She's. She's definitely getting bigger, huh?
Zane
Hey, not that big.
Matt
Does she sleep any differently or is she not fully on the back?
Heath
Like. Yeah, no. So she's not on the back. She's on her side and she's got one of those, like, pregnancy pillows.
Matt
Like, are they like, the ones that are like a snake almost?
Heath
I. I want one so bad.
Matt
You look comfy, Matt.
Zane
Can I. Yeah. I gotta picture this.
Heath
Change your life. Oh, whenever she's not using it, I grab it. It is the most comfortable thing in the world.
Zane
Oh, that's.
Heath
You feel so supported. It wraps up underneath your legs, goes up behind you, and you just kind of like.
Zane
But this is. This is the best way to sleep as a side sleeper.
Heath
It feels amazing.
Zane
Looks like it's really this.
Matt
Just the normal way we go to sleep.
Heath
But look what's really nice. You see how it goes down your back, too?
Zane
Yeah.
Heath
So that is behind you, and it keeps you from rolling back. Like, you have, like, a back support, which is nice. You feel so cocooned and in it.
Zane
Do they have a cooling one?
Heath
They. I mean, they're.
Matt
They're all over. Cooling on the back?
Zane
Yes.
Matt
Yes.
Heath
So good.
Zane
Okay. All right.
Heath
Between your legs?
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
I love it. All right, I'm gonna get one. Heath.
Heath
Yeah. She's getting more pregnant every day.
Matt
Is she having Any weird cravings or anything at you?
Heath
No, it's. She hasn't had, like, cravings that are weird or anything. She still likes what she likes, just more, I guess.
Matt
Okay.
Heath
Like, she. She loves her uncrustables, but she always liked uncrustables, but she just, like. Like, she wants cold things more than anything.
Zane
Oh, is she getting hot a lot?
Heath
No, it's just, like, cold food has been refreshing for her. So, like, fruits. Like the.
Matt
Some people chew ice and stuff a lot when they're pregnant. Wow.
Heath
It's weird, though, because she's, like, getting bigger, but you could still see the abs on her stomach, but they're just out here.
Zane
I could. I. I couldn't picture it. I had to look it up on Google. I was like, I don't understand. I looked up at Google. You can have abs. Abs and also be right. It's the craziest thing.
Heath
She.
Zane
Does she still dance?
Heath
Yeah, she.
Zane
Right now, like, dancing.
Heath
She's been going to the studio in Nashville doing, like, their. Their classes that they have out there. Similar style to the pregnant.
Zane
Pregnant classes. Pregnant dancing classes?
Heath
Maternity dance. Yeah, no, it's just normal. Just hip hop.
Matt
Are y' all gonna join a Lamaze class?
Heath
What is that?
Zane
Is that the one where you sit behind you?
Matt
Oh.
Heath
Where you're behind your partner?
Matt
I don't know. I don't know what is. Really.
Zane
They're pregnant exercise. Pregnant maternity exercises.
Matt
It's just getting you guys on the same page, same wavelength. This is a team. We're bringing a baby in. Maybe some breath and some stretch.
Zane
That's it. I thought. I thought it's, like, in the 90s.
Matt
I feel, like, always, like, in Spongebob and stuff, they were going to Lamaze class or not spongebob Rugrats.
Zane
So it just helps, like, spiritually.
Matt
Let's. What is a Lamaze class? What. What are. What is it? Lamaze class is a type of childbirth preparation that focuses on empowering women to have a safe, healthy natur. Birth experiences, relaxation techniques, breathing exercises, and movement to manage labor pain and build confidence in the birthing process. Oh, okay.
Heath
Yeah, I know. I've seen, like, clips and stuff in movies where they're, like, practicing their.
Matt
Yeah, yeah.
Heath
That was, like, a huge thing I remember in TV show. No, we're not gonna do that.
Matt
Yeah, I feel like now we have more access to, like, information to do it at home. Like, back then, it was like. It was a good, like, refresher before going into something.
Zane
And I feel like back then, too, since, like, the Internet was not a thing like, it. It is, I'm sure. Like, not, like, not being able to look up something really quick, like getting. Being able to go to a class like this.
Matt
It feels better. Nervous at all or is she actually really excited about it?
Heath
So pumped. She's just hyped.
Matt
Does she talk to her sister a lot? Like, because her sister's had a baby.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
Having a baby.
Matt
She's already had it.
Heath
No, not yet. No.
Zane
No.
Heath
Hers is due in October.
Matt
Got it.
Heath
Her baby shower is in maybe, like, a week or two.
Matt
Okay.
Heath
But yeah, they're. They're both so excited that the, you know, they get to bond over at the time. At the same time, she's also. It's not like. I know, like, towards the end, people who are pregnant start, like, getting over it. They're like, just, like, ready. She's not at that point yet where she's like, I need to get this thing out or anything.
Matt
Oh, right.
Heath
She's still, like, super chill. Sometimes she just feels, like, uncomfortable sitting.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Just, like. It just feels.
Matt
Feels funny that you don't feel, like, settled.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
Just.
Heath
Just uncomfortable. But other than that, she's been really good. No pain or anything. She thought she might have felt a kick, but she's not sure if that's what it was. But she's like, I feel like a weird sensation. And she's like, it could be, but I'm not, like, sure. So that was kind of cool.
Matt
How are you?
Heath
I'm doing good. I'm excited.
Matt
Yeah, it's.
Heath
It's hitting me more and more, but I don't think it. I'll really fully grasp it until I see his face.
Matt
Yeah. Yeah.
Heath
Like, I'll look at her and I'll be like. Like, I know that, like, our son is in there, but it still doesn't feel real yet.
Matt
Huh. And it's weird, like. Yeah, you haven't really met them yet.
Heath
It's so, so weird.
Matt
Huh?
Zane
Are you. Are you getting closer on finding out a name?
Heath
No, we haven't talked about it. Like, maybe.
Zane
No name.
Heath
Not that.
Zane
Just let him figure it out.
Heath
Not since the last time we, like, we sat down for, like, an hour and, like, really went over it and, like, pick some favorites and things like that. But we haven't, like, been like, all right, let's really try to settle it.
Zane
Yeah.
Heath
And come up with it. But it'll happen. It'll come to us.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
First thing she says when he comes out.
Heath
I don't know if I want to risk that.
Zane
Okay.
Matt
It's just fun.
Heath
She even said that sometimes you're, like, stressed and you're like, high emotions. You're not, like, thinking clear, like, when it's going through it. And people will pick name that they're like, why? What was I thinking?
Zane
Yeah.
Heath
So she was like, I do not want to, like, do it on the.
Zane
Spot, but don't you have to. When the birth certificate. Don't you have to come up with a name?
Heath
Very, very. Yeah.
Zane
Soon after.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
They make you.
Heath
Right.
Zane
Or like the.
Heath
I don't know exactly how much time you have to choose, but it's. It's pretty quickly.
Zane
Yeah. Who's. Who's saying that? Like, you need to. It's all right. You need to come up with a name now. It's the hospital middle that's like, we need the name right now.
Heath
Yeah. The people working there.
Matt
Yeah. They need to verify because they have to.
Heath
They have to write it down. They have to, like, submit the paperwork and everything.
Matt
Gotta get Social Security number. All of it.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Got a human now. Crazy.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
It's also fun, like, with the baby name stuff. Just getting a big baby name book and just flipping to a random page and just being like, what about this? No, no, no. Like, just having a whole bunch of names.
Zane
There's, like, so many different ways that people come up with names. It could be like anything. Just so many different ways to just come up with a name. Random. Your favorite actor, your favorite.
Heath
Anything we could go have the baby with, like, in the Amish community. So they don't have a Social Security number.
Matt
Do Amish not have socials? Oh, strange.
Heath
They don't. They don't pay Social Security either.
Zane
I thought if you're in. I thought if you're in the U.S. like, I thought you have to. I thought it was like a legal thing. You have to. They're like, have to do.
Heath
They're so interesting. They're completely removed.
Zane
Amish in the US Amish community, they. I'm surprised. I thought that was like a. You, like, you have to have a Social Security number.
Matt
Wait, okay.
Heath
They pay taxes, but they don't pay Social Security tax or anything like that.
Matt
They go, yes, most Amish people have Social Security numbers, but there are some exceptions. The Amish as a community generally oppose government assistance like Social Security, retirement or disability benefits because they believe in taking care of their own. Yeah. However, the U. S. Law requires a Social Security number number for things like paying taxes, working for wages, or opening a bank account.
Heath
Okay. So they still get a number, but they don't pay Social Security tax.
Matt
Yeah. So since they're self employed Amish, there's an exemption under 1402 of the internal Revenue code that lets them opt out of paying Social Security and Medicare taxes. They still get issued an SSN, but they can file the IRS form, Form 4029 to claim the exemption from those taxes.
Zane
So you can, so they don't being you could be exempt from paying certain things for religious beliefs.
Matt
I think it's because of the way that they employ themselves. Like they're providing their own Social Security so they don't need to be paying into it because they will. They don't. They will, they will not be using the benefits.
Zane
Got it. I'm gonna come up with my own religion.
Heath
What are you thinking?
Zane
No, you don't have to pay anybody. No taxes.
Matt
No.
Heath
And who do you, who, who do you like worship? What's like the, the foundation? What, what's, what's your core beliefs?
Zane
Oreo.
Heath
Okay. The Oreo Gods.
Zane
The Oreo Gods.
Heath
Yeah, I like it.
Zane
Yeah. Yeah. Something about it.
Matt
Okay.
Zane
Aureus. Amazing.
Heath

For sponsoring this podcast and helping all of us. We love you. Going back to the candy real quick, did you see the, the lady that just recently found the. It was a pack of Starburst and it was from like 15 years ago. They did. If you have a golden wrap wrapped Starburst pack, you won like the sweepstakes and you win $10,000.
Matt
Oh, wow.
Heath
So she had it, never opened it, Just completely forgot about it.
Matt
Just a pack of Starbursts. Yeah, it was part of the promo, but she hadn't opened it. Okay.
Heath
It wasn't opened the whole time. And it was like a promo from 15 years ago.
Matt
Whoa.
Heath
So she opened it and it was all gold wrapped.
Zane
All the whole row?
Heath
Yeah. So everyone, this is what it looks like. So everyone is individually wrapped gold old for like, ew.
Zane
For when I don't look. Right. Oh yeah. So I thought that's what it's supposed to look like.
Heath
So she's like, holy, I won and I never knew. So she called to be like, hey, I know this was a long time ago, but I, I just, I, I just found out that I have the golden sweepstakes. Like I just won. And they denied it. They were like, oh no, that's bastard.
Zane
It's over. Is it because. Oh, wait, did only one person, only one person supposed to get it? Oh, crazy.
Matt
It wasn't so okay.
Heath
So they, they were just like, oh, no, that promo is long gone. Like we don't have that anymore. But it went crazy viral. And everybody was like commenting like, tagging star. He's like, yo, you need to pay.
Matt
Yeah, damn right this is the winner.
Heath
Like, give her the money. And it got like 30 million views or something like that. It blew up. Everybody was fighting for her. And then Starburst was like, okay, see.
Zane
What was the prize? What was the price?
Matt
$10,000. They should accounted for inflation. Like that's true.
Zane
Oh yeah.
Matt
What Would that the market that like 15 years?
Zane
I think like, like 30k. No.
Matt
What if it was 10,000 of Bitcoin? Did that go? We're gonna give out bitcoin. It's worth nothing.
Zane
That's so sick that she had that and she didn't open it.
Matt
Wow.
Zane
How old is it? How old was.
Heath
It was like 15 years.
Zane
But the who had was like an older lady.
Heath
So can you look it up? There was something. I don't know why she didn't open it or what the story exactly was. So 50 year old woman, she finds the role of Starburst from 15 years ago. Just days before her 50th birthday. Going through the closet for an AC unit and found a box of the sweepstakes with the Starburst inside.
Matt
Okay. Even if I found old Starburst in the back of my closet, I'd be like, nasty.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
He was just like, maybe I'll see if I won the contest. What a rush.
Zane
I don't think she opened it to see if she won the contest. I think she was opening because she was hungry. I think. I think that girl's hungry. You think they're so good because why are you opening? I don't think it's opening to like be curious about a sweet steaks. You know what I mean?
Matt
She got the gold star. But that's so crazy. I just want to know who that business executive is. Just like, no.
Heath
Yeah. Who said no?
Matt
Snooze, you lose. And then they're like, social media is actually causing a huge. And they're. They're outside with their pitchforks. We got to pick the lady. $10,000. And they're like, okay.
Zane
Even before. Even before the whole social media, like, this is such good PR for your company. Like, when's the last time I heard about Starburst? I don't know. This is.
Heath
This came out of thin air. They should have been excited. Be like, holy, finally somebody was a winner.
Matt
If I was ahead of Starburst right now, I go, we're doing another drop.
Zane
For immediately right now.
Matt
Let's do it. She's the face to compete with the whole Mr. Beast going on right now.
Zane
Exactly.
Matt
It's cool. They honored it. People are talking about it.
Zane
People are gonna, let's make a new one. Let's make a new Starburst gold winner and do the same thing. Wrap it in gold and then put the gold flakes in there. Do the same thing.
Matt
Bring back the sour Starburst though. Sour. Starburst burst.
Heath
Wait.
Zane
Yes.
Heath
Sour.
Matt
That sour Starburst. They were yum. Dude. They were even like a little harder. They were almost like now in ladies. I don't remember those.
Zane
You don't remember those? Oh my God. They killed it.
Matt
No wait, these are the sour gut. Oh, they. Those.
Zane
The green. Yeah, it was a green wrap on this. On the. You don't remember the pink? They had a pink one. They had a blue one.
Matt
Blue.
Heath
Oh, okay.
Zane
Green one was sour.
Heath
I got. I did get into the minis though. The minis are nice.
Matt
And the gummy minis, Starburst. Those are good. I respect them.
Zane
Yes.
Heath
I like the texture of the minis with that like shell to it.
Matt
Oh yeah. Also starburst jelly beans. Pretty damn good. Second best jelly beans out there next to jelly.
Heath
Can somebody help me out with the whole jelly belly and Jelly bean jelly belly.
Zane
Jelly belly is a candy mix. Yeah.
Matt
Of tissue like it. Jelly bellies are the number one best jelly beans.
Heath
But there's only two brands that make them.
Zane
No, there's.
Matt
There's more rip off jelly beans everywhere.
Heath
But what. Who's the original Jelly Belly?
Matt
I think Jelly belly is like became the Coca Cola of the jelly bean world. They.
Heath
There could have been other brands called jelly beans.
Matt
It's like calling band like you know Band Aid or Kleenex is like a tissue.
Heath
Okay.
Matt
But it's a tissue.
Zane
Can you, can you do a list of jelly brand names like on images? Jelly bean jelly beans, Jelly bean brains.
Matt
There's all different types.
Heath
Do you think people are snacking on Jelly Bellies like that though?
Zane
I don't think so.
Matt
Jelly bellies either. They can come in tiny little packages, but they also come in that big fancy almost like boxed chocolate.
Zane
Oh yeah. But they're all. They're all coming from other candy brands. So like Starburst makes them. Jolly Rancher.
Matt
Yes. Everybody makes jelly beans.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Jelly bellies though.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
I think the most luxurious and.
Zane
But Jelly belly doesn't make like the gross flavors in it. That's only like the bean boozled brand. Right. They don't make like funky. Yeah.
Matt
They're not like birdie bots every flavored beans. But no. Jelly belly does make popcorn. They do okay, but they're not doing like vomit and booger and puke. But they do have like. Yeah. Oh, dude. Jelly. Oh. Do you want to talk about jelly bellies? I want to go to the factory.
Zane
My favorite tick tock is the kid that goes like, I want to get the licorice. That other one where he puts the jellyfish in the mouth. He goes, you've never seen that. It's him and his sister playing and it's like, we're going to get vomit or liquor.
Matt
Oh, they're doing bean boozled.
Zane
He's like, vomit or licorice? And he throws it in his mouth. He goes, it throws up. Please pull it up.
Heath
It's pretty amazing though, how bad those did taste. Like the, the, the nasty ones actually tasted very disgusting. Like they did a good job with it being bad.
Matt
Yeah. I remember seeing Harry Potter for the first time and we got the birdie B.O. flavored beans. And being in a theater and eating like a vomit in the middle of the theater, being like, this sucks.
Heath
Do you think that that many people are just buying jelly bellies to keep them in business like that? I feel like I never see anybody getting, buying or gifting jelly bell.
Matt
I think jelly bellies, you always see it like a duty free shop when you're at the airport. Like, it's like a box of chocolates.
Heath
Okay.
Matt
Jelly bellies, I mean, they have a whole factory out there in like Sacramento. And it looks amazing. And I want to go, how's going it made probably with gelatin and stuff.
Heath
Did you ever used to watch that unwrapped?
Matt
That was summers.
Heath
That was my show. Watching them make all those different candies and snacks and treats, I loved it. That little bts of all your favorite candies and everything. I remember there was a, like a dippin dots thing. When dippin dots first came out was revolutionary.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
The ice cream of the future.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
And we're still here.
Heath
And dipping dots is still around, but there's knockoffs.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
Dippin dots is only good if you're at a water park or maybe at a.
Zane
At a theme park is good too.
Matt
Having dippin dots in the comfort of your own home. I don't trust you. Like I.
Heath
Something's wrong.
Matt
If we're watching. If we're watching a movie at your house and someone goes, ice cream, hell yeah. Well, we got dipping dots. What the.

Matt
No.
Zane
Skunk spray or licorice. He's so excited. So excited.
Matt
He was. He knew what the game was.
Zane
He's been waiting for that bean boozled game to come to the house, and he's like, we got it. Let's play. He didn't even get the skunk. He got the licorice.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
I think. I think his ear hurts. Skunk spray.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
And he just imagined that, like, you know when someone's like, that's good marketing.
Heath
Though, because if I was a kid and I saw that, I'd be like, I need to try it.
Zane
Yeah. I need to try this. I need to see if it's gonna make me act like that.
Heath
But isn't there something special about Dippin Dots, though, where it has to be below freezing?
Matt
Oh, so you can't even have Dippin' Dots.
Heath
I don't think you can. They have to be.
Matt
What a terrible business model.
Zane
Wait. Oh, wait. You can't just put a dip in Dots, like, because they sell individual pies. Individual.
Matt
It's. What? Sorry.
Zane
They sell individual packs.
Heath
Yeah. But they're in a Dippin Dots freezer itself, which is, like, colder than freezing, I believe, because it has to be super cold, or else it would just, like, clump up and not be the balls anymore.
Matt
Yeah. So no one can have dip.
Heath
You can't just put it in your freezer.
Zane
Oh, well, that. There's got to be another way they can do this where you can have, like, Dippin Dot ice cream, but it's not, like, in ball form.
Heath
Okay. Dippin Dots needs to be kept extremely cold, specifically likely at negative 40 degrees.
Zane
So. And what is our freezers usually at? Oh, 10. Damn.
Matt
Some kids are like, I'm gonna take my tip of Dots home.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Put it in the freezer.
Zane
You know what? I thought it was colder than that. Freezers. Our freezers.
Heath
No, you're, like, just around freezing. Negative. That's why, like, sometimes I'll get ice cream and it'll be rock hard, and I'll put it in my freezer at home, and it ends up being softer.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
And I'm like, it's still frozen, but it's not like.
Zane
Like, what it was after his ice cream.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
That stays soft. I think that's good. Right? If it's. If. If you pull out of the freezer and it's soft. So that's like good quality ice cream. No, if it's hard as a rock, it's like, this is not.
Matt
I. I like my ice cream lights up when you talk about. Yeah, yeah. No, I'm not. But it's just like. You're like, oh, yeah, you're talking about that.
Heath
Oh, my God.
Matt
You just.
Heath
You know what I got I'm on to right now is that talenti. Ice cream. Ice cream that's been around for so long, it's crazy. I just tried it recently.
Zane
You. You'd recognize it in a second.
Heath
Oh, dude. Matt, it is quality.
Zane
You've never seen that ice cream mat.
Heath
But it's impossible to open. I can't open them, dude. It's like, I can't open it.
Matt
It's just. No, you literally cannot.
Zane
It's just childproof. Like, you cannot.
Matt
People.
Heath
People saw the top off because you literally can't open it. But that. Because it just brings the hype, though. It makes you want it more. You start getting pissed.
Zane
And also it's in the freezer, so it makes it even more like locking in the.
Matt
They made it for it to be child proof.
Heath
So your kids, for something, some reason, it's so incredibly difficult to understand.
Zane
Is it good though? You like it?
Heath
Phenomenal.
Zane
It's your really. Oh, my God. Okay, so we'll try it. It's. It's just gelato.
Matt
I like Blue Bell, and I haven't had Blue Bell in a minute. They don't sell it out here. Blue Bell ice cream.
Zane
They don't sell it out here.
Matt
No, but like blue. Blue Bell, rainbow shirt. Herbert. So good. Blue Bell ice cream. All of it tastes good. Damn. Oh. Oh, those are good.
Zane
That looks amazing.
Matt
Safe place with some Blue bell.
Zane
Yes.
Heath
I went to New York pretty recently and they had a ice cream shop that was like all ice cream, but they had one ice milk and it was a chocolate ice milk. It was the best.
Matt
That's the flavor.
Heath
Well, it's. It's not ice cream. It's not gelato. I call them iced milks because I don't know what it is, but it's like icy.
Zane
You've never had, like, ice, like, ice cream. It's like you never have sauce serve. It doesn't taste like ice cream. It tastes like just.
Heath
You don't have that, like milky, like. You know like what Italian ice is? Yes, almost like that. But instead of being like a lemon or a raspberry, it's a vanilla chocolate. It.
Zane
Dude, I Don't like it personally. It was bad.
Heath
Oh, no, it's amazing. I like it more than ice cream cream.
Matt
Okay.
Heath
It's not. It's not like the. Where you need a glass of water after. Oh, it's so good.
Zane
Because the whole thing is water. It's ice water.
Matt
Speaking of ice cream, did y' all see that ice cream shop? I think it was out in New Jersey called Hazel Boutique.
Zane
No.
Heath
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Matt
So this new little ice cream shop, boutique. I don't know how long it's been around, but it seems young because the owners seem really young. Like girls maybe in their late 20s, early 30s.
Zane
Okay.
Matt
Yes. These two broads. Sorry, all respect. These ladies have this ice cream shop. A mom and her daughter are there at the ice cream shop. And normally at a proper restaurant, you have proper restaurant furniture. You have proper tables that are up to code and understood.
Zane
Four legs. It's flat.
Matt
Well, this place, they decided to do things a little different.
Heath
They wanted to be famous.
Matt
They didn't put property tables. They put high.
Zane
That's not the table.
Matt
Two layers or consoles. That's a console.
Heath
That's what you put your way.
Matt
Entry table. And guess how much each one is. Sixteen hundred dollars.
Zane
Bad. Stupid business idea. Stupid decision. Like, look at that table. That's actually the restaurant. Like with the table moving.
Matt
And so a mom is there with her kid and the kid just accidentally nudges the table.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
The whole thing falls to the ground. The ground. Also, if there was a toddler or a baby or it was a three.
Heath
Year old, I believe that.
Matt
Right.
Heath
That this happened to.
Matt
But I'm saying if it fell. Correct. If it hit a small child, it could have killed small.
Heath
Probably heavy too.
Matt
It goes bam to the ground. It shatters in a bunch of pieces. And they're like, okay, is everyone good? The store owner, whoever there was working was like, before you leave, I need your credit card information. I need your driver's license. License. Because if you break it, you pay for it. And she goes, I'm sorry, what? I have to pay for this? And then. So the mom, they don't know how.
Zane
To run a business. When something breaks in a restaurant, it's not on the.
Matt
The mom then goes on tick tock, explains the whole situation, how ridiculous it is. The Internet does some investigating going, this is the table that they hit. Oh, girl. This is not even a table that's up to code. This is a marble entryway table. Get your lawyers up and take this business down.
Heath
Down.
Matt
The business has also said, has Put out an apology note and saying we did not intend to ask her to pay for the table. We just wanted to get information just so we're fully aware of what's going on.
Zane
That. That sounds like a give me your.
Heath
Credit card and all your info, but I'm not going to charge you. I just want to know for no reason.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
So, yeah, now they've had to disable all of their comments. Everyone's coming out after them about the business. Obviously, they have to get new tables. What would you do? What would you do?
Zane
And that if I. If I broke the table or if I was a restaurant owner.
Matt
If you're the restaurant owner, and let's say you own the restaurant, and it was stupid of you to have gotten the marble tables. You're not working. One of your employees was like, you make it, you break it, you buy it, and this mom hits it. How are we getting out of this PR crisis?
Zane
Obviously replacing all the tables. Right. Was it the employee or was it the. The owner, the manager that asked to see the credit card?
Matt
I think it was just an employee of a girl who was working there. I don' to this one of the owners. I'm not sure. I don't have the full picture.
Zane
I think to get out of this PR crisis, I'd replace all the tables. I would do a whole day where you just give ice cream for free. Make it this a positive experience. Guys, come back in, please. We're so sorry that we had. We had dangerous furniture that like that a ice cream store just shouldn't have. We want to make it up to our community. Yes, we're going to get free ice cream all day. And yes, you're going to be spending. That's a lot of money that you're losing. But we got to make the community happy.
Matt
How long do you keep the comments disabled for?
Zane
I think don't disable. I know I get the disable for now, but just like, turn it back on after you. You fix it up after you do this day.
Matt
Okay. What about the person who had the terrible experience? The customer knocked down the table.
Zane
Yes. No free ice cream for the year.
Matt
For the year. Hey, Beth, thanks for coming back. Well, remember, we agreed that it ended at the end.
Zane
I would do an ap, like, apology note, flowers, and a card.
Matt
Wait, you're saying the employee does that to them? It just becomes a total after it's been one year, and you're like, ooh, ooh. Yeah. We did agree that it was going to be a year of free ice cream. You Know, I think we've had enough. We got new tables. Clearly. So. So I wish we wrote that contract. Remember, I still have your credit guided id. I don't think we want to be doing that.
Heath
Oh, let's.
Zane
Well, let's read it. First and foremost, we are extremely grateful that the three year old girl, her grandmother, mother and every customer who is present present are safe and unharmed. We understand this incident may have been startling when the table fell with a loud noise and our priority has been to ensure the family felt supported and cared. Four clear surveillance footage confirms that the young girl accidentally kicked the table causing it to tip over. Thankfully did not strike anyone and the child showed no signs of distress, walking away calmly from the scene. What is this apology? What? Just explain what. Following the incident, we personally called the child's mother to express our concern, offer our support and share our direct contact information should she need anything. As an added precaution, we have since removed all tables from our locations to eliminate any risk of a similar incident. We also want to be completely transparent. We would never hold anyone against the her will. The mother was not charged for the damage table even after asking how she could make it right given the table broke, we requested her contact information for insurance purposes. At Hazel Boutique, safety and hospitality are the foundation of everything we do. While this was an unfortunate and rare occurrence, our commitment to creating a safe, welcoming environment for every guest has never been stronger. We are incredibly thankful for our loyal customers and the communities we serve and will continue to do everything possible to ensure their safety and welcome well being.
Heath
But also like death to all of them.
Zane
This close it down.
Heath
Yeah, y' all got a budget if you got 1600 marble tables just like that around as your casual dining table.
Matt
Yeah, these are cute. Oh, look at this. Sabrina, look at this. Those could be the tables, right?
Zane
You know what they could have at least done Take the two tables.
Matt
There's two legs.
Zane
Take the two tables and somehow connect them to make it like a bigger table. If anything. If you like those tables so much. But the fact that it was. The fact it was wobbling like that, like just in a normal setting is crazy.
Matt
Yeah. They prioritize their aesthetic over of the.
Zane
Safety of the safety of their customers.
Heath
And that's why this is probably really heavy too.
Zane
Yeah.
Heath
If that were to fall.
Matt
Bam.
Zane
Yeah. Matt, what would you do for the custom for that customer?
Matt
Oh my gosh, Great question. Ice cream. Ice cream for life. Not a year.
Zane
Oh, for life. Okay. Because most people get ice cream like maybe once every two weeks.
Matt
I don't know, just to prevent a lot.
Heath
Not unless you're going to Handles because I'm there weekly.
Matt
What can you do? Just prevent them from ever giving you a lawsuit to put your business.
Zane
Oh, I guess Ice cream for life.
Matt
And like we'll cater any of your little birthday parties. A little three year old?
Zane
No, it's only for her and the daughter.
Heath
She comes in with like the whole class like.
Matt
Yeah, she goes.
Zane
Just completely taking advantage of it.
Matt
I don't know. Just running it.
Heath
9.25 pounds.
Zane
Wow.
Matt
Bam.
Zane
That's really heavy.
Heath
Let's see the. Keep going through the site and they clearly have it up against the wal.
Matt
That's gonna be my Halloween costume.
Zane
It's just the table. Can I be the baby? Yeah.
Matt
Yeah. Boom. Hey, Hazel. We keep tagging them like we go there on Halloween night. Like.
Zane
Hazel Boutique. Boutique. But why they call Boutique for ice cream ice cream.
Heath
They're trying to sound. They're trying to justify $15 ice cream.
Zane
Ice cream scoops just to make it. It's kind of like that place that I used to work at. What's it called? Kill wins. Kill Wins. Chocolate.
Heath
Matt, have you been to Handles ice cream?
Matt
Handles?
Zane
Wait here. Handles?
Heath
It's the one that I got you that one night when you came over to the Woodland Hills when I was living over there. Remember I said this is the best ice cream you'll ever.
Zane
Oh, I don't. There was nothing. I didn't find it. I didn't find it anything special.
Heath
Right. Oh, I loved it.
Zane
Really?
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
That I think was better than afters. I don't know about that.
Heath
Fresh ice cream made every single day.
Zane
I love that.
Heath
Yeah. If you. If you're near one and you're listening, go check them out.
Zane
Why can't I better you? It's so unfair.
Matt
Get Halo top.
Zane
No, no, I think Halo top tastes. I want creamy luxurious ice cream that has sugar in it, but it's also healthy. Like it's.
Heath
Why didn't make that protein pints? Zayn, look at that.
Zane
No, I want.
Matt
Want.
Heath
It's good.
Zane
It's good. Really? The whole. The whole pint is 30 grams.
Matt
Z's already touching his tummy.
Heath
Z, take it easy.
Matt
Slide. Enhance. Zoom in on that. Enhance. It is good.
Zane
Alexa, enhance. Wait. Not bad for the whole pint.
Heath
It's pretty good.
Matt
I hadn't had a popsicle in a minute though.
Heath
Fudge pops. I just got them.
Matt
Fudge. Get the. I hate.
Zane
Get the fudge out of here.
Matt
Fudge pops. That ruin a mood.
Heath
It kind of tastes like Wood fudge.
Matt
Is on the outside and cream on the inside.
Heath
No, no, it's just the.
Matt
There's fudge in the. No, he likes.
Zane
He likes ice milk, remember? So that is just like, ice.
Heath
Look, look, look. It's just a classic, okay? No, no, no, no, no. If you want, like, an off. If you want a really good pop popsicle, go to Costco. There's a variety pack. It's got three flavors. One of them is honeydew. I'm not a honeydew guy, but these popsicles will change your life.
Matt
Costco honeydew stick.
Zane
I'm going to Cost. I'm going to Costco next week. Next week.
Heath
That's it. That's it. That's it right there.
Matt
Melanoma.
Heath
Click. That's the. That's it. That's it right there.
Matt
Melania torum. What is the melanoma?
Zane
That's Matt. That's exactly what I thought of when I saw it in his freezer.
Matt
Wait, hold on. Those are rectangular.
Heath
Like, unbelievable.
Matt
I put my mouth on it, and I gotta go, like, why don't they curve it a little bit?
Zane
Because they want to be different. They want to be different. Every. Every. Every other brand does a circular.
Heath
Get the honeydew man. Just trust, Okay?
Matt
I will trust.
Zane
All right, Heath. I'm going to Costco because I'm gonna get them chicken cubes that I love so much, and I'm gonna. Also. Does not change my life.
Heath
I will have a problem. Creamy.
Zane
Oh, is this zero sugar or no?
Matt
I don't know.
Zane
You don't care.
Matt
Costco or Sam's Club? Which one's superior? Costco all day.
Zane
Yeah, yeah, Costco's fine. I used to. We used to be a big Sam's Club family back in Florida.
Matt
Yeah, same here.
Zane
Is there any more? Sam's Club? Is that a thing still?
Matt
I think it depends where you live.
Zane
Oh, they still have it. There's.
Heath
There's one by our old house.
Matt
I think if there's like, a Costco, Sam's Clubs are not trying to build where Costco Costco's are. Oh, Costco don't want to build where Sam's Club is because I think it's bad for.
Zane
Costco is like the. But the number one place, though.
Heath
I don't know.
Matt
Club came before Costco, but Costco improved.
Heath
I don't know if Sam's does like the gas and everything, too, but Costco's got cheaper gas. They. They do offer a lot.
Zane
Sam's Club don't do pizza. They don't do pizza. They also don't do them chicken cubes that I love so much.
Heath
Costco is generally considered more popular than Sam's Club. They're both successful. What's our membership costs here? What do we got?
Matt
There's all different kinds.
Heath
There's, like, tears.
Matt
I got a Costco gift card recently, but I'm like, but I don't have a Costco membership. Can I use my gift card for the membership? And we just. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Heath
Call that $65 a year for the gold star. And the executive membership is 130. Oh, Sam's is cheaper. Sam's 50 for the year, 110 for their premium.
Zane
That's not a bad membership price for that. But, like, are you getting a deal when you're shopping there? Like, do you get.
Matt
You're getting at a wholesale price.
Zane
Yeah, because you're buying.
Heath
Yeah. You will. 100. Save that over the. I mean, it depends on how much you shop, but.
Zane
Yeah.
Heath
Yeah, you'll save that.
Matt
No, it makes sense. And you can, like, buy vacations at Costco.
Zane
What?
Matt
Yeah, I'm pretty sure they have a.
Zane
Travel that buys that whole area.
Matt
You walk in out of the back. There's all these other things that your car can get you. And it's like package deals because of the Costco.
Zane
So they're almost like. It's like. It's like a vacation travel agent type thing where they can get you just.
Heath
Like, some special offers.
Matt
Like, special offer. We got pizza.
Zane
Costco holiday right now.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Oh, wow.
Matt
Yeah. You get, like, a Costco Carnival cruise. Yeah, Costco.
Zane
Oh, that's incredible. Wait, I love that.
Matt
Go to Cozumel.
Zane
To me, that's just like, hey, look, we're making so much money. Let's expand. What y' all want to do vacations? Let's do it. We got travel. I think everyone's just trying to be an Amazon, right? Like, they're just like, how many different pockets can we fill with our company? Yeah, these hotels are just like, oh, we got another Costco. We got another Costco family coming.
Heath
Checking in.
Matt
There's my discount. You know, you sign this executive.
Zane
Platinum diamond Costco member.
Heath
You know, you can sign up for aarp. They got great deals.
Matt
Yes, I've heard that.
Zane
Can you deliver Costco? My hospital?
Heath
No, no, no. Know, like, if I always thought you had to be, like, over 65 for AARP card.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
You can get it at, like, any age. Denny's gives you, like, 25 off. If you're like, AARP.
Matt
Yeah. You get a Huge thing of coupons for all different types.
Heath
Oh, it's amazing.
Matt
Yeah, I've considered it, but I'm like. I don't know. I'm not a huge couponer guy. I like to just use what my credit.
Zane
I wish I was. I just wish I was really good at that, like, knowing how to, like, save money. Like that word. Like, everything I buy, I know there's a coupon.
Matt
I make sure that, like, when Mike, even though, you know you have your big credit card and you still get the credit card promo stuff in the mail, I always open that up to see, like, what's the new thing the credit card's offering.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Making sure I'm enrolling in those benefits so I don't miss it. So, for instance, like, Hilton, I feel like for my Chase card or something. Or amex had a $200 benefit. Or credit.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
If you stayed at their hotels, but you have to enroll in it to get it.
Heath
That's what I don't like. You got to enable it.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Is. Is there an app out there where if you're, like, grocery shopping and you're like, you're about to take something off the shelf, you take a picture of it in the app, and then it gives you a immediately a coupon for that store. It saves it in your phone, and you keep shopping. You do that for every single item you get there. And you're like, oh, yep, I have coupons for all these items. It's all in this app. And you click one.
Matt
Beep, beep, beep.
Zane
Do they have anything like that that exists?
Heath
Have to be for that specific store?
Zane
Yeah. But you would search it in the app like, so I'm at Ralph's.
Matt
Yes.
Zane
Boom. Take a picture of it. Here are the. Here's the coupon.
Matt
Ralph's pickup, when I used to do it, do that as I'm online shopping. He goes, do you want to apply a coupon to this item, too? And it would already be, like, registered to it, and it would. Oh, it's a price.
Zane
Got it.
Matt
Okay.
Heath
I think.
Zane
Yeah, that's it.
Matt
That works. But there's also external coupons that could bring it down.
Heath
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Zane
Interesting.
Heath
You know what I do anytime I order online on, like, different websites.
Zane
Right.
Heath
When I'm going before checkout, I don't use, like, that honey thing I used to. And then I feel like it just kind of, like, stops finding them, too.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Like, it. It would work sometimes times, but every time I. I check out now, I'll search that website and I'll put like promo code. And I will always find a promo code right before checking out. Oh, that's. There's like 10 different sites that'll have stuff up for like this month. And it'll give you the list of what the promos are. It'll be like 2020 off this order or whatever it is.
Zane
And is this like, what site are you usually shopping?
Heath
Any site. Literally anything.
Zane
Like you just put on Google, like Reddit, like where are you looking for?
Heath
I'll just go on. I'll just Google that place that I'm shopping and then promo code.
Zane
I tried that a couple times and I felt like every time I found one it was expired already. Okay. I feel like this is something.
Heath
It'll take like 15 minutes to find one that'll work. But you will, like, you will always.
Zane
You got to work. You got to work for that disc.
Heath
That's right.
Zane
Do. Have you ever seen the girl that. That is like a travel agent, but for like really, really rich people. And she'll record herself talking to like her clients. And like the clients would be like, fight, like fighting with their. Like, like. So the travel agent, this girl would call the client and go, hey, so your daughter really wants to have a vacation in Tulum. And So she's requesting $250,000 for her and her friends to have a villa on the water, blah, blah. And then. And the guy would like freak out. I was like, absolutely not. But this is like. But like, I feel like it's real. No, no, this is like she works like she is a. She's like a. She's a travel part of me.
Matt
It thinks it's real. Well, no, I think it is real because it can just get good views. Yeah, but there's no way out. Every time does she have multiple ones and it's people getting mad about her asking on behalf of people to spend their money on their kids.
Zane
It's different every time. But I think she only posts the ones that are like worth posting. But also it could be fake conversations. But this is her job. You what? I mean, but I don't see her gaining any more clients if they know that she's posting these conversations. Cuz these are like. No, like, it's crazy. The conversations that she posts. Like, I like, you could pull. Can you turn on the audio for one of them?
Matt
What does she want? I mean, how much does she want to spend?
Zane
Probably close to 60.
Matt
60,000.
Zane
Yeah. Hi, Brian, how are you? It's Liv calling from Top Tier Travel.
Matt
You.
Zane
I'm Good. I'm good. I have to call you due to a request from your lovely daughter.
Matt
Oh, God, what the hell?
Zane
She is currently in Saint Tropez and she's looking to do a little jump over Europe. A little jump over to Europe?
Matt
A little scared to ask you, so.
Zane
Sent me your way.
Matt
She said you're a little upset because.
Zane
Of the car and everything and you're cutting down on the spending.
Matt
The car?
Heath
What do you mean?
Matt
What. What car?
Zane
Sorry, I shouldn't have said anything.
Heath
She mentioned that she got.
Matt
I'm just with you.
Zane
Oh, my God. Don't do that, Brian. It. It sounds real. Yeah, she. She wants to go to Monte Carlo for a couple days. Her girlfriends are going just standard suite. They want to see the casino, do a few nights there.
Matt
She's just a little scared to ask you right now.
Zane
Send me your ride.
Matt
What does she want? I mean, how much does she want to spend?
Zane
Probably close to 60.
Matt
60,000?
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Okay, you can tell her $25,000 tops. And that's all she's going to get from dad on this trip.
Zane
Okay.
Matt
So you can pause the other line though. Sounds like he's like 25, though.
Zane
Yeah. So she posts a lot of these videos. This is just her. This is her TikTok page. This is all she posts. And I've watched a lot of them and I'm going through the comments and just looking for ones that are like, this is fake. But like, I don't see any of those comments ever. And it's. It seems real. But then in my head I'm like, there's no way she's getting any more clients after this page. Because I would never want my conversation online. Like on TikTok. Yeah, it's very private. It's like when it comes.
Matt
She's even saying the name of her company. Right?
Zane
Yeah. Top Tier Travel. And I don't see anybody watching this and going, oh, I want to work with her. Because, like. Right. It's. What. But she sounds. She sounds.
Matt
All of these are staged.
Zane
You think everything is staged. I feel like somebody would called her out.
Matt
That conversation where she's like, oh, the car. And he's like, what car? Like, it's all.
Heath
It's too fun.
Matt
It's too perfect of a conversation.
Zane
I agree. It does. It does sound perfect. And you know, any other I would have been like, that's fake.
Heath
Okay. You think she's trying to get some clients from this.
Matt
So, for example, the guy who's that dude who sells private planes on Instagram.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
And he has people come in and he's showing them. All right, so what's your budget? I'll write 30 million. And he has this incredible screen in front of him. Those people are in for the YouTube videos. Are not buying the planes. Yeah, those are people who are come. He has these people come in and films the whole thing. So someone who does want to buy a plane can see what the experience is like. Because if someone was coming in with that much money, I'd be like, sorry, car camera's off. Get the out of here.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
You're not filming me making this huge financial purchase about something I'm buying.
Zane
Right?
Matt
Right. So. But it makes it look cool. So where it's like, I want to buy a plane from that guy.
Zane
So you think this is working for other people?
Matt
Yes, I think so. Where they.
Heath
She.
Matt
Because she has, like, a. A coolness, like, about managing it and showing she can handle it.
Zane
She's also losing a ton of people that think it's real that she's posting these. These conversations. Right. So that's like a big risk, like.
Matt
Losing all that personality points. Because people just like her personality and they go, hell yeah, let's book our trip. Like, let's do it through that girl. Because she's cool. I like her tick tocks and stuff.
Zane
Should I try reaching out and see, like, and just like. And then I'd like to set up and just, like, see how the conversation goes to see if it's, like, legit.
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Zane
Because I do want to call her and be like, hey, so those, like, those conversations on, like, I just. I want to make sure it's like, what. Our business is private. I just want to see what she. She says. Like, oh, those are. Oh, those are just like, for fun. Like, oh, those aren't real. Like, I always want to hear what she says.
Heath
You should try it.
Matt
Go see it.
Zane
Okay, I will. Yeah, I'll reach out.
Heath
There's another person that I see on Tick Tock. And I don't know if it's. I don't know if it's real.
Matt
What.
Heath
But I also feel stupid about it. Have you seen the artisanal pencil sharpener guy?
Matt
Does he, like, sharpen?
Heath
I don't know if he's just really invested in this bit.
Matt
Is it one pencil he keeps sharpening?
Heath
No.
Matt
And it's really small. No, no.
Heath
He says he has clients that send him these pencils and he shows you different ways that he's a pencil sharpener for, you know, writers and people that want these perfectly sharpened pencils Shut the.
Matt
Oh no. Yeah, he's trolling.
Zane
There's no troll people sending their pencils.
Heath
Cuz he's like, there's different styles of.
Matt
Website. If you go to his page and you click like his.
Heath
Yeah, you could like buy his pencils and stuff like that.
Zane
I could see maybe buying his pencils but not turning your pencils in to get it sharpened by him, like getting a client.
Heath
And it sure can do like 10 pencils at a time for clients usually. And then once they break, they go through them, they send it back in for sharpening.
Matt
Well, and he says this is called the Lincoln technique.
Heath
So good. Yeah, the, this is the Lincoln.
Matt
Okay, you know what, maybe this is real.
Heath
So serious with it that I'm like, I literally don't know.
Zane
So you can buy packs of pencils.
Heath
From this guy pre sharpened or if you have your pencils, you send them in, he'll sharpen them.
Matt
I don't so but like the pencil didn't like breaks. Imagine you get a pencil sending your.
Zane
Pencil in to get sharpened. I think that's so silly. I think buying pencils from him because he has like good quality. I could see that makes sense. Like if I'm someone who writes with pencils a lot and I'm said I have the money, I don't want to buy from Staples, I want to buy it from this guy. Like this seems like a good quality pencil. I don't know.
Matt
See he just sells pencils but like there's nothing about like booking a certain type of sharpen.
Zane
Is that his pencils right there?
Matt
He's David. Oh this is silly. This is so silly.
Zane
55, four and a half star.
Heath
Go all the way down, see mailing address. You just send him your pencil. Pencils man.
Matt
Oh yeah, I gotta join the discord of pencil sharpeners.
Heath
Very bizarre. But he's so committed that I'm like, I can't tell if this is real.
Zane
Okay, so Heath, why don't you buy the pencils?
Matt
Yeah, buy the pencils.
Zane
Should I report back? Yeah, we all have homework.
Matt
We all have.
Heath
Everybody's just curious. They're like, is this real? So let me just do it. And then he's just getting sales from people that are curious.
Zane
And sometimes I feel like if you ask like a kid this like a Gen Z, they're be like of course it's a fake, you idiot. Like are we like, you know how we're, we're getting old? Old enough where it's like is this real or not? Like I will never believe it's real. You know what I mean?
Heath
Then he shows you the difference of why doing it this way is better than with one of the. I'm like, this guy's serious.
Zane
Like, well, Heath, it looks like he's got the people watching his videos.
Heath
They crush.
Zane
He wouldn't. He wouldn't.
Matt
He wouldn't get four minutes long. 330, 350. That's.
Heath
That's the Washington.
Zane
Damn.
Matt
That's.
Heath
That's the Washington technique.
Matt
You know it all.
Zane
The Washington tip. Is that what he called it?
Heath
They call it, man. That's, that's the type of cut. And then he shows you the. I don't know.
Matt
Whatever.
Heath
I don't know.
Zane
Well, yeah, no, I think that's all we have to say is like, like, you should buy a pack and then just see, okay, the experience, like, and report. Like, I want to see it in your hand.
Heath
Does anybody know what a number one pencil looks like? Have you ever used one?
Matt
No.
Zane
I've heard. What's the difference between a number one?
Heath
No, they're all just number two. Every. Every pencil growing up is just a number two pencil. What?
Matt
Well, some aren't.
Zane
Also known as a B pencil is a soft pencil that produces dark, bold lines, making it a good choice for drawing and shading. It contains more graphite and less clay than a number two pencil, causing it to smudge more easily. Oh, it just smudges more. That's why we number one, like, you can't do work because it's just smudging everywhere.
Heath
Number two. Look at, at that. Number four.
Matt
Ooh.
Zane
What are those for? Is that for, like, blueprint?
Heath
I do like the Home Depot pencils that are, like, wide.
Zane
Love a good wide pencil, huh?
Heath
They're really nice.
Zane
The, the big, the big boys.
Heath
Yeah, they're, like, thick, but they're, like, thin.
Zane
You, dude, you're just a dad now.
Heath
You know, I went to Home Depot the other day. I got Zayn's first toolkit.
Matt
Yeah, love.
Heath
I love.
Zane
I was like, you know what? I, I, I could tell he was so excited, too, that he really wanted to get this tool. I said, you know what?
Matt
Get the tool brand.
Heath
So I'm a Milwaukee guy.
Matt
Me too, but I don't anything Milwaukee.
Heath
But I, I got him set up with, like, a nice Milwaukee, like, starter, you know, everything he will ever need.
Zane
I was right about the blue parents. I cannot believe I got that.
Matt
How much is a Milwaukee starter toolkit?
Heath
Well, they have different packs and deals where you get the B battery and the charger. A battery Alone from Milwaukee is like 160 bucks.
Matt
Okay. And he got a power drill and a tool kit or what?
Heath
Power. Power Dr. Drill, impact and battery and a charger I think they had on sale for like 2:25 or something like that.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
Then I got him full socket set.
Matt
How much is.
Zane
It was like. It was like.
Matt
How much did you.
Zane
It's like my first Father's Day present I've ever received. And I'm not even for everything.
Matt
For the whole kitten caboodle.
Zane
Yeah, I wish I asked for that.
Matt
On my wedding registry.
Zane
Oh, toolbox.
Heath
How are.
Matt
I mean, I have. I have a tool kit that's like, good enough. It does everything that I can around the house. It's just not one of those iconic buy it for life brand ones.
Zane
Yeah.
Heath
But I really like Milwaukee as a brand. I definitely recommend.
Matt
What's the orange brand?
Heath
Dual dewalt is like a yellowy color.
Matt
Oh, I have an orange Decker.
Heath
Like a Decker.
Matt
I think I have a Decker power drill. Yeah, I have a Decker power draw.
Heath
I do like the aesthetics of McKinnon Makita, though. I think they got a really cool color.
Matt
What color is that?
Heath
It's kind of like a tealy blue. Good looking power tools.
Matt
Oh, love the.
Zane
Okay.
Matt
That might. Those. That matches my car.
Heath
It's really nice.
Zane
I love that aesthetic.
Matt
I might become a Makita.
Zane
Yeah, I think he. I think I might be a Makita one too.
Heath
Well, you better not because you just got Milwaukee starter kit.
Zane
Well, no, you know. Well, you know me. I like a good aesthetic, so I might go to that.
Heath
And then did you know that Ryobi, you know, they're like lime green.
Matt
No.
Heath
So Ryobi, super, super popular at Home Depot. Like, they got a lot of stuff that's like their home brand that they push, but they made it sound like it was like a foreign company. So it kind of had like a little bit of like a appeal to it, but it's not. It's just Home Depot.
Zane
I think that was the first drill I had.
Matt
Right.
Zane
I actually have the blow. The air blower, the Ryobi air blower, or the leaf blower.
Matt
I love these Makitas. I'm like, this a good color. I'm obsessed. They're really like, they're better. It's the exact color I've been like, wanting.
Heath
It's really nice.
Matt
I might get a Makita toolkit.
Zane

Listeners who love genuine friendship chemistry mixed with relentless pop-culture commentary will find this episode especially enjoyable.
