All new drinks are now at McDonald's
Zane
with refreshers like the Strawberry Watermelon refresher
Matt
and the Mango Pineapple refresher with popping boba.
Zane
To crafted sodas like the Sprite Berry
Matt
Blast with berry flavors and cold foam. Who knew ice cold drinks could be so fire six? All new drinks are here now at McDonald's.
Zane
Refreshers contain caffeine. Oh, I'm just hot. I just.
Matt
Why are you wearing a hoodie?
Zane
Because then I'm wearing a black on black and I just. It doesn't look nice.
Matt
I hear you.
Zane
So I, I like to wear a hoodie sometimes. Just brings in, bring in some color.
Matt
Keith, what are we wearing today?
Heath
You know, just a little big time tee.
Matt
You know, we feeling big over here and stuff. Okay.
Heath
Big time, big time. You know what time it is?
Zane
Big, big time.
Matt
Okay. Also moment for the new vibe. New set. Like, thank you.
Zane
Good job. Looks like he finished.
Heath
We're. We're very close to being finished. It's. It's like 95% done.
Matt
Describe to our listeners what this new kind of background is. Whoa.
Zane
Oh, there it is.
Matt
Well, we're looking at a pic right now, but Heath, describe it.
Heath
My little workshop area that I used to film the podcast in, I had to move everything out of there and it was just kind of in like the living room area while I was fully redoing my whole basement workshop. So for the last few months, I was. I ripped everything out and then I built and framed walls around everything because it was just cinder blocks. So I framed everything, drywalled everything, ran electric, did all the ceiling lights power sauced like. Oh, my gosh. Non stop.
Jared
Yeah.
Matt
Wait, was the wood paneling already in there or did you install the wood paneling?
Heath
No, I did everything. Matt, here, let me show you.
Jared
Just a quick.
Heath
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
Zane
Oh, wow.
Matt
Whoa. That is so impressive.
Zane
Oh, and Heath was telling us that when they bought this house, they didn't even count that as part of the house because complete.
Matt
Yeah. So would you consider that like, that's not a garage. That's like Just a true basement within the basement, like, storage room.
Heath
Okay, Jared, I just sent you a video. You can see in that video where it's fully exposed on the right so that you could see through to the back of the bathroom down here. So right where that purple sheet is, that's to the right of me right now. And then I am sitting up against that unfinished wall.
Matt
Oh, it looks damn good.
Zane
Wow. Came a little.
Heath
That was with the ceiling and the lights done and.
Zane
Oh, you got a scripper pole.
Matt
That's amazing.
Jared
That's crazy. It went from something out of saw, like an actual.
Zane
Which is lovely.
Jared
So lovely.
Zane
You know, we all love it. Big fan.
Heath
It's coming along, though.
Zane
Yeah, it looks really good. Good job.
Heath
Thank you.
Zane
Kind of reminds me of your old house.
Matt
Do you get good ventilation down there?
Heath
So I just had all the ductwork redone in here, and they're cutting little vents in it so I can have this fully aced. I used to have a mini split, but I moved that into the actual living area.
Matt
Dad talk. I wouldn't understand. You speak in a different language. I wouldn't know about that life.
Zane
Well, yeah, it looks good. Good job. Good job.
Heath
Thank you. Thank you. I'm excited to finish it.
Zane
I'm Matt. I'm surprised you weren't at TNT's wedding. With all the weddings you go to, Taylor Swift's wedding, I'm surprised you didn't.
Matt
No. Didn't get the invite with a thousand amount of people. But you know what? I probably could make it because, you know, Fourth of July weekend is just big for my family.
Zane
Too high.
Matt
You know, you can't miss the msg, Right?
Zane
Which I did not know MSG was Madison Square Garden until this whole story came out. I've never heard it as msg. I've always heard you hear MSG and
Matt
you're like, oh, Chinese food. Well, no.
Zane
Yeah. My mom is allergic to msg. So in my head I was like,
Heath
oh, my mom can't go.
Zane
Yeah, my mom definitely can't go to that.
Matt
I still have not done a proper deep dive into everything. Do we even what her dress looked like?
Heath
Did it really happen? Is it confirmed or are we still speculating?
Zane
Oh, definitely confirmed. Because people, like, the top celebrities were arriving at.
Heath
Okay.
Zane
Msg.
Matt
Well, damn. Oh. Oh, Those are definitely leaked pics. Those are.
Zane
Those are leaked.
Matt
A lot of the Google images did look fake, but.
Zane
Okay, I thought that was AI.
Matt
Well, then, damn, that's some good AI if it is.
Heath
That looks good.
Matt
I thought a brilliant thing she did. Was all of the wedding invites and even like, maybe like the menu trademark. Watermarked. Watermark, guest's name on it.
Zane
Really smart.
Matt
So if you took a picture of any of your stationery that was related to the wedding, it would get leaked.
Zane
Which is so funny to me that, like, just knowing that she was making. Making invitations with names watermarked on it, knowing that if anyone were to ever see any of those invitations, that means that they are not on good terms anymore. You know what I mean? It's like, if you see the name, that means Taylor does not fuck with them anymore because she leaked this.
Matt
You don't want to be hanging that invitation up at your fridge because friends will come over being like, oh, you know what?
Zane
That's probably exactly what happened too.
Matt
It wasn't me. I just. Taylor, please.
Zane
And the culprit, Ashish Ferguson, whoever that is, she leaked it. Or somebody leaked it of her.
Heath
Wait, there was a leak?
Zane
Yeah, there was a leak. You didn't see the invitation? No, it was watermarked on there. Pull up Ashish Ferguson, Taylor invitation. There it is.
Narrator/Reporter
Oh.
Zane
So if you zoom in on the invitation, you see that her name is watermarked all over the invitation.
Matt
Damn.
Heath
That's crazy.
Matt
I love. I thought, I like the invitation. We're at a lake. Poor at msg, by the way.
Zane
Also, you know what I would easily do if I was like Ashish Ferguson or somebody that was invited? Obviously I would never. But, like, if I were to, and I want to leak it, take a picture of it, fucking edit the name behind the watermark out and then just redo it. You could easily edit that shit out.
Heath
Yeah, right. Put that into chat.
Zane
I thought when I heard that she watermarked, I thought everything, even the words of the invitation were all fucking carved into their name. You know what I mean? Like something where you cannot even edit it out that you can easily fucking get around that. Which I'm surprised that Taylor let that slip. She didn't get like some fucking insane editor.
Heath
Also.
Matt
What?
Heath
There's no way that somebody took a photo like that on their phone. And it's that. That looks a digital.
Zane
Digital. Digital implementation. They were all digital invitations.
Matt
Oh. Nothing was actually in print.
Zane
No.
Matt
Okay, that makes sense.
Zane
Which I. I feel like in the mail. No, I know that, but I feel like it's more secure. Like it's easier to share a digital invite than. Than a paper invite.
Heath
Right.
Zane
Like, you could take a picture of it, but still it's like.
Heath
Right, it's a.
Zane
It's still a picture of an invitation, which is not gonna look that.
Matt
I hope she had a good time.
Zane
I'm sure she did.
Matt
A thousand people, though, at a wedding, that's like, you. You're not gonna get around to all of them.
Zane
Is it. Is it true that they. She did it there because it's, like, the most secure.
Matt
Yes. And no drones as well, so no one can, like, see what's happening because it's closed. Yes. Well, you think MSG is, like, a ballpark?
Zane
I have no, dude. I've never been there. I wouldn't know. I don't even know what it looks like.
Matt
Big mass.
Zane
I know what it looks like inside, but. Okay.
Matt
Yeah, it's like that.
Zane
Got it. Got it. Okay. Yeah, I. I've never been there. I've never seen it. All right, well, I mean, I guess that makes sense, right? Because a lot of people were like, oh, that's tacky. Why would you have it in there? And for sure, I thought it was tacky, too. I was like, that's crazy. Why would she do it in a beautiful landscaped in the middle of nowhere? But it's. Because it's easier to figure that out than to get into this stadium.
Heath
I mean. But also, at the same time, it's basically all the same guests that were at the. The white party, and that was just at a house.
Zane
Wait, I'm.
Jared
I'm.
Zane
I'm confused. Like, what do you mean by that, though?
Heath
Like, I feel like it could have been at a. Like a. Like a venue or something. Like, because if that guy could have a white party with all those celebrities.
Zane
I think there's a difference between, like, celebrity fans, like, showing up to a party and Taylor Swift fans. Like, Taylor Swift fans are absolutely batshit. Like, they will do whatever they.
Matt
You.
Zane
They were standing outside of the MSG waiting for the. For the food that they didn't eat,
Heath
for the leftovers going through the trash.
Zane
Yeah, no, dude, the trucks are coming. Like, we'll take whatever. A fucking huge horde of people. And they were being thrown fucking leftovers from the wedding, and they were freaking out.
Heath
You're not getting that.
Zane
At Michael Rubin's party.
Heath
Yeah. There was, like, a mom that drove. I think it was, like, 12 hours with her daughter.
Zane
Insane.
Heath
And they were interviewing her, and they were like, is this for you or the daughter? And she's like, this is for me.
Jared
She.
Heath
She doesn't even really care about Taylor Swift, but, like, one day she can look back and be like, we were there. I'm like, that's you.
Zane
But you weren't you?
Heath
But you weren't.
Zane
You weren't.
Heath
It's crazy.
Zane
That's insane. But yeah, after I saw that, it, like, hit me. It's like, oh, that's why Blake Lively
Matt
is probably there going like, Taylor.
Zane
See, apparently she was not invited at the wedding. She just wasn't at the wedding. You don't know if she was invited or not.
Matt
But then apparently, I thought I saw some little tick tock. That was this whole hot gossip scoop where like, a couple months ago, the press picked up that, oh, Blake Lively did receive an invitation, but she didn't show up to the wedding. But some people think that she, like, planted that out there so Taylor would see it and be like, oh, God, I should probably invite her. Really, like, to like, make her have doubts. Being like, well, that's not true. Oh, maybe I. It slipped my mind. I don't know. I think that's what the hot gossip was that right?
Zane
She was. She invited a thousand people.
Matt
A thousand. That's what Patricia told me.
Zane
That's no intimate wedding. You're inviting everybody. You know, it's not like you're. Oh, no, I only invited family. No, I only invited very, very close people. A thousand people. And you got, like, celebrities showing up. They're not all close to you.
Matt
How do you not have just, like, a crazy aunt who's, like, already on Facebook live? This is insane. My nephew Travis is getting married to the biggest pop star in the world.
Zane
Oh, I'm sure they. Dude, can you imagine that? Like, the T. Swift meetings that she's had with, like, all Kelsey's, like, family and relatives and friends, where it's just
Matt
like, y' all for the last week.
Zane
Travis, Kelsey is just like, hey, guys, look, I know we all like to take pictures, but this one, you really got to watch out. Like, you can't do anything.
Heath
I. I'm sure they had all of their phones locked down the entire time.
Zane
No, you think that. I don't think. It's almost like, do you think phones taken from them for entering the wedding?
Heath
Yeah. Or putting those locked zipper bag things.
Zane
I could see that for the ceremony,
Matt
like, at least every guest, like, had to get checked off that their phone had, like, locked. How does, like, someone go and go, oh, I didn't bring a phone. Have it on me?
Zane
I mean, Remy. Remy had little baggies for our phones, but I brought my second phone. I don't give a. Oh, yeah, our.
Matt
Our.
Zane
I still. I still took content. I'm putting that content out first.
Heath
I don't give a.
Matt
You did not bring a second phone to Remy. I got four. Oh, did she? Four phones.
Zane
I actually do have four phones.
Matt
That all work.
Zane
Yeah. No, no. Well, they don't work that. I use it for film. Use it for different. If I need different angles at the same shoot, I'll do that.
Matt
Do you know what? Kind of brilliant.
Zane
Yeah, it is very brilliant. But I can't. But I can't tell you how I got it because I don't want anything to happen. Like any reverse trap. But what. It's really. It's really sick that I got it, how I got it. Obviously, I didn't say anything.
Heath
I'm gonna hope.
Zane
And I just hope they're not watching this, but if you're watching this. Thank you. I use all of them, and I really appreciate it. They're not sitting in my collecting dust like, I'm actually using it for content. Let's work together. Yeah.
Matt
Apple gave me AirPod Maxes, I thought for free, but then they, like, followed up and goes, can you sign this contract? We're only giving them to you for a year. I'm like, what?
Heath
And you have to mail it back.
Matt
I don't want to use these. Just knowing that, like, I'm having. It's not my full property. It's like a. It felt like a rental. You know?
Zane
What kind of cheap shit is that? I have never heard of anything like that.
Jared
I know.
Matt
I fussed back, and they said, okay, we'll just give them to you. I was like, that was not agreed upon for me attending this. That I was signing up for a layaway. Yes.
Zane
Oh, I would never accept. I'd be like, pick this shit up right now. I'm not. And I'm not paying to return it either. You guys, you got to pick. There's no a year.
Heath
And then they charge you for, like, damages, like, if it got scratched or you lost it.
Zane
You're not a Lamborghini.
Heath
You are.
Matt
You are.
Heath
Headphones.
Zane
That's insane.
Heath
Especially. Especially something that you didn't ask for. Hey, do you want these? Yeah, sure. All right. Well, you got them for a year. Well, I know.
Matt
I was like, what? I was upset.
Zane
That's funny.
Matt
I was upset.
Zane
But, I mean, we haven't heard anything. Oh, let's run the intro.
Matt
Yeah, we should run that intro.
Heath
Three, two, one.
Zane
It's cocktail, baby. Let's go.
Matt
Unfiltered. Ow.
Zane
Welcome back to Zany Heath. Unfiltered.
Jared
Taylor's.
Zane
Taylor's Edition.
Jared
Taylor's version.
Zane
Taylor's version.
Heath
So close.
Zane
Welcome back to Zany Heath Unfiltered Taylor's version. I'm Zane.
Heath
I'm Heath.
Matt
I'm Matt.
Jared
I'm Jared.
Zane
And we are here again. Thank you so much for tuning in to another. Hope you're having a wonderful Monday and Tuesday. Thank you for being here.
Matt
Can I confront you about something? Oh, like, this isn't that big.
Zane
Is it about my ass this time?
Matt
No.
Zane
Is it about my. My forehead?
Matt
It's about money. You owe money to someone, and you owed this for, like, three years, and I was just informed about it.
Heath
Oh, my God. And we want to do this on the podcast.
Zane
Wait, wait.
Matt
Well, you know what? I put it down in my notes to bring it up.
Zane
Is it a lot of money?
Matt
It's a couple hundred dollars.
Zane
Oh, okay. Oh, my God.
Matt
Do you know what you owe? You owe my brother money.
Zane
I owe your brother money?
Matt
You. For my bachelor party. You never paid your portion.
Zane
Wait, what?
Matt
And I think because even though requested you, but knowing you.
Zane
Wait, I swear I paid for. No, I didn't pay for anything.
Matt
No, you did not. And so I just wanted to remind you that the Venmo request. My brother and I knew, and my brother was like, But I feel bad. I'm like, don't feel bad.
Zane
Oh, my God. No, no, no, don't feel bad.
Matt
You don't have to do it right now. Just remember.
Zane
I want.
Heath
No, you should do it now before you forget again.
Zane
But the thing is, I got to do it now because then nobody will ever think that I paid him back. If I do it right now and they hear that, I just don't want
Matt
to waste their time.
Zane
I'll do it after. I'll do it after. But no, no, no. Oh, my God. Tell him I'm so sorry. That's insane. And you know what I mean. Good thing you called me out on the podcast. I appreciate that. Yeah, no, that's. That's. Oh, my God. That's. I. I swear I thought I paid that. I'm so sorry. No, it's all good, Kevin. I'm sorry.
Heath
I don't know. With inflation, you know what I mean?
Zane
It's. It's up to a thousand.
Heath
Yeah, that was a few years ago.
Zane
It's up to a thousand.
Heath
I don't know.
Matt
Just a reminder.
Zane
Oh, yeah, that is my fault. And you know what? I'm the same way as him, though. Like, if someone owed me money, I just. Like, I just wanted.
Heath
And this is the first you heard about it, Matt?
Matt
Yes. And I'm surprised. My brother never, like, followed up more, but I feel like he just felt embarrassed to, like, hit you up. But then I think, no.
Zane
Oh, my God. I. And you know what? It is a long time where it's almost like it's crazy.
Heath
Like, damn, you're still thinking about that. Yeah.
Zane
And I would have never judged it, but like, no. Yeah. It is so long now where it's like. I mean, that it doesn't even matter anymore.
Matt
I think it also. My brother, in a way also forgot too, that the debt was outstand because we were in conversation with my. One of my cousins talking about bachelor. Bachelorette stuff. Yeah. And he was like, oh, I've been meaning to tell you, Zane. It was me money. And that's.
Zane
Well, I mean, I'll pay him back. Does he want a shout out for anything? Does he have a business?
Matt
Yes, he does.
Zane
Good speech, everybody. Download good speech on the App Store.
Matt
Go to my brother's Instagram. He has a whole consulting firm. I don't know if it's goodspeech.com. goodspeech.com.
Zane
Get consulted with a king. Oh, that's good. That's a good slogan when you can consult with a king.
Matt
Goodspeech studio you've always wanted to have.
Heath
Good speech, Zane. So maybe.
Zane
Well, he doesn't owe me, Heath. I owe him.
Heath
Maybe you could support his business and pay for a class.
Zane
But the thing is that he can't teach me because I owe him. So, like, I'm just paying. I just have to pay him. But you're right, though. I do need.
Matt
It's okay. It's okay. We're moving on. We're moving on.
Zane
All right, cool. Thanks, Jared, for the inflation calculator.
Jared
Yeah, you got to tack on about 33%.
Zane
Why don't you drain me more? That's funny.
Heath
Before we continue, this episode is sponsored by Mountain Dew. Now, look, I'm a Florida boy living in Tennessee, so I can't exactly throw the fam in the truck and be getting my beach on in 10 minutes, you know? But that's all right. Thank you, Mountain Dew, for sponsoring this podcast.
Matt
We love you.
Zane
Okay, I saw there's some. There was some hot, hot fucking tea at your gut in your fourth of July weekend.
Heath
Oh.
Zane
Which, by the way, Matt, I swear, when I saw that video, I thought I saw to my for you page of like, a different account. Like, I didn't think that was your. Because I saw that video not on your page, though. I was watching. I was like, oh, damn. And it did not like. Right.
Matt
That's how I kind of wanted the video to be. Because I. I don't know, I just
Zane
wanted it to, like, you're a visionary.
Matt
Get its reach, you know, that would. How so, Anyways, as you guys know, we do the boat parade every year. This boat parade for this year, we did NASA.
Jared
Yeah.
Matt
Okay. Sorry about your homework assignment you gave me. In terms of setting it up, we're all hammered, getting it together and shit. So we do NASA, we do star. The side of the boat looks better than the front and. But everyone dressed up as, you know, astronauts, stars, aliens, rocket ships. It was a really great turnout. The best little thing, though was I think, the gold tin foil on the edge of the boat. You'll see it in one of the videos where you pan by. But it was a really nice touch because the theme this year was 250th anniversary of the United States. We get out there on the boat parade, everyone's looking patriotic to a way where we're like, we're feeling kind of good. Because I feel like our boat theme was creative separately from everyone else. I think all the other boats went full patriotic.
Zane
Did anybody do what we said that somebody would do? The. This picture? George Washington?
Matt
Yeah, kind of. But, like, didn't fully commit to, like, what? Washington crossing the Delaware. No one was, like, fully committed to that. But some boats, like, yeah, definitely had like a George Washington in the front leading it. That's what the boat from the side,
Zane
you know, who did commit to that, though? Heath, Jake Paul.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
Did you see that? That looked insane. Yo. He. Loki killed the.
Heath
Yo.
Zane
I thought it was.
Heath
He ate that up.
Zane
I thought it was AI when I watched, I was like, oh, this is 100 AI. AI is getting real good. Yeah.
Matt
He's wake surfing in his two jet skis in the background. Just fine.
Heath
That work.
Zane
Popping off in the back. Oh, but that is. Bro, I've. That is America. And that's. It's too good. That's good.
Matt
And you definitely, like. And he didn't wipe out on that first try, you know?
Zane
I know.
Matt
He's Jake Paul. He's an athlete.
Zane
You think he would post it being dressed?
Matt
Someone there has, like, a whole rack for, like, him to dry off and get that over and over again?
Zane
Yeah, yeah. Okay, we'll continue. Sorry we get out there, but the
Matt
vibes are looking good for us to, like, kind of win. We're having fun. Okay. And we do our whole lap around the lake, and then we come back to the end where kind of everyone goes their separate ways. One of the boats behind us, we start noticing there's commotion. Or one of my cousins, Jake, in the back, he's like, yo, I think these guys are getting into a fight. And we turn around and we're like.
Zane
Goes where?
Matt
We're like, wait, what's going. We see these guys tussling, like, just, like, pushing each other and shoving. And we're all like, wait, is it in? The fight is kind of going on for, like, 20, 30 seconds, to the point where, like, I don't know, maybe it's gonna settle out. I don't know. And then we're like, wait, guys, no, no, no. Look, look, look. And then. So let's run the clip. Look at the guy in the green. So these. Yes.
Zane
That's wild.
Matt
Boom.
Zane
That's wild.
Matt
Gets tossed overboard. And we're all like, oh, damn, world star. This is crazy. We can't believe this. Because this is so unlike anything to happen during.
Zane
You don't see that happen a lot. Maybe they were being patriotic.
Heath
They United States.
Matt
So we're like, what went down on this pontoon? Like, what were they arguing about? Were they arguing about the moon landing or something? Because they're looking over at our boat.
Zane
Do we think conspiracy theory, like, theories can get very heated? Heath and I have gotten some heated arguments before.
Matt
Also, I'll say their boat looks a little bit more French than American. That's like, the French. I think someone bought the France flag.
Zane
The side is a little bit Of French. Yeah, that was kind of a fuck up there.
Matt
Oh. So I have run back pictures of this boat trying to figure out who this family was. Like, were these guys brothers? Was one of them already drunk and started running their mouth?
Zane
Do they have to live in this area to be a part of this, like, boat? Or you could be from anywhere.
Matt
Good question. I bet you would have to probably have your own place to be a part. I guess anyone could join. But if you're joining, that means you'd have to go to the public dock, get your boat in, and then decorate it and then join the parade. That sounds like a lot of shenanigans to just join publicly, but I guess you could.
Zane
Okay.
Matt
And there's. There's a poor kid on this boat as well. Oh, I did a group of friends. This seems like family.
Zane
Yeah. No, that. I see family. I don't see friends at all. I see. I see uncle. I see an auntie. And then there's a guy sitting there where he's like. It looks like he's like, oh. And this happens every year.
Matt
So all of us from witnessing it, we. We don't know if maybe the guy in the green was actually the good guy and was trying to separate another fight in the mean guy pushed him over or was the green guy out of line and he deserved to get pushed over.
Zane
There's never any appropriate time to be pushing somebody off a boat like that unless they were being physically violent to somebody, to either you or someone around you. But, yeah. No, I'm curious to.
Matt
Also being that level of intoxicated. Also. This is now 9pm at night.
Zane
He did look like he was being a little like. Like, you see with it where he's kind of. He's just.
Matt
Yes.
Zane
Moving shit around. He's like, get the.
Matt
Yeah, screw you. Screw you. Just like.
Heath
Like, how about the water for.
Matt
So that's when it got, like, kind of scary because in that moment, we're like, oh, we caught it on camera. This is crazy. What a memory. And they're like, wait, where is he? And so then we, like, turn down, like, the music and stuff, and it's just quiet and still. And we are looking at this boat. It's still kind of like maybe 50 yards away from us.
Zane
Yeah. And.
Matt
But because the way the pontoons angled, we still can't see him. And we're worried he's not coming up.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
And we're like, this is really bad.
Zane
Yeah. Not on America's 250th birthday.
Matt
This is Ruin the trip like, this is gonna. There's gonna be helicopters out here in a moment.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Then finally, the boat kind of, like, angles up, and we do see ahead, and we're like, thank God. Because he could have hit his head.
Heath
You could have been hit by the propeller.
Zane
Yeah. It did look like the boat went over him. Like, he fell, and the belt kept moving this way over his body. So that's why I was worried that he was just under the boat. Yeah, it's. It's so crazy. Like, being pushed, that's. That takes a lot of, like, I know.
Matt
What did you do? I want to know what was said. But that's why I think the guy who pushed him was more drunk than the guy who got pushed.
Heath
Yeah, whatever. No matter what was said, throwing somebody off of a boat is, like, crazy. You're the. You're the one that has issues.
Matt
Yes, I agree. I agree. So that's where I rest my case, where the guy who pushed the guy off the boat was more out of line than the guy who got pushed.
Zane
Do you see? Nobody reacted to it at all. I know. Higher boat is just kind of like not one. I don't even think they realize that the he's.
Matt
This is the norm. It must be in that cottage.
Zane
This happens all the time. This is nothing new.
Heath
And then all the families on the lake will remember, like, they know what house they live at.
Zane
They're just like, oh, yeah.
Matt
That's why I've been trying to, like, post. I posted all my stories. I'm like, Rose Lake locals. Anyone know the tea? Nothing has come forward on my end. Maybe I'll eventually get updates because I told my aunt, because my aunt's up there all the time. She's gonna ask around.
Zane
Oh, she's gonna find out. She's gonna figure it out for sure. And then next year, I'm sure you'll get an answer by next year for sure. People will talk. This will get around town.
Matt
I did feel guilty upon filming this and posting it because I'm like, is this, like, should you. Should you share a video of a fight?
Zane
I would film it because I feel like everybody always films. It's the. It's the posting part that you always have to think about. Right. I would post it as a close friend story first. And then while that's up on close friends story, it's getting engagement from everybody that I know. How fun. I'm going. I'm going to see if anybody that I know knows these people, because if there's somebody I know that knows these People, it might be too close to home to be posting because I would just feel bad.
Matt
But the thing is, we're at a parade. You're at a public event. You're at something that is meant for spectators.
Zane
That's true.
Matt
So this is not. I understand. I'm not at a restaurant and I see like a couple arguing and you're to whip out your phone and film them.
Narrator/Reporter
Yeah.
Matt
Or like you see people having a private argument. I don't know. I would never film that.
Zane
That's not private.
Matt
This is in the.
Zane
This is in the middle of the 250th, America's birthday party.
Matt
Yes.
Zane
So everybody's around everybody. And he did that. He did that because he wanted people to see that.
Heath
Yeah, he was. It was a full spectacle.
Zane
It was a spectacle. He wanted attention. He knew that people were going to watch him, push him and then, and then right after.
Matt
So it's the end of the parade. We see another pontoon boat in this pontoon boat. I think missed the theme that this year was 250th.
Zane
Oh, no.
Matt
They were Nightmare at Rose Lake written in blood on a flag. They had Jason, Freddy, Krueger and they had, they had fake body bags on. Oh, maybe I'll airdrop it to you because I missed the memo.
Zane
Is there like a party full or like an invitation that people see to like, hey, just remember it's America's 250th birthday. Try to have, try to go to the theme of that.
Matt
Or I think they just had all their Halloween decorations and we're just like, let's. I'm not buying new Stu. But hold on, I'll airdrop you this because when you zoom in, you're just like.
Zane
They just knew they weren't gonna win. They're like, we're not gonna spend any more money.
Matt
And then imagine if that poor guy drowned. That family sitting there in a pon boat with just like body nightmare. Like, you'll so. Oh, my cousin's laughing. And then I zoom in. Look, they got a body bag and like blood hanging out on this side. I think they took off their costumes cuz it was the end of Turn the Bone Around. It was just like.
Zane
Is that, is that supposed to be guts and flesh? Like what's hanging off the boat?
Matt
Yes, I believe that is guts.
Zane
Oh, God.
Matt
Like, or blood. And then a dead body bag.
Zane
Oh, you know what they should have done in the back of the boat? Somebody should have worn the Jason mask and be like underwater like that.
Matt
Oh, I like that.
Zane
Yeah. Because it kind of looks just like the lake that the movie.
Matt
So that's what went down at the parade. We get home, they announce on Facebook, and y'. All. I had kind of doubts, though, because there was one boat. They did a declaration of independence because the we, the people, and the whole boat was the declaration. And then if you're a Hamilton fan, they had King George in the back saying, like, you'll be back, kind of. Is there a. Oh, are you on Facebook? Are you logged into Facebook?
Jared
I think so.
Matt
Go to Rose Lake.
Jared
That's where.
Zane
Is that where all they all post at Facebook?
Matt
Yeah, that's where they announce it.
Heath
Just had some awesome participants. Guys, check out the boats this year.
Zane
Make sure to engage like it.
Matt
That was us when we won Best in Show. That was another one. That was really good. That's fun. And then they did that.
Zane
Oh, that's sick. Wow. That's actually really sick.
Matt
That was really impressive. So we had doubts where we thought they're gonna win, but then they announced it and we won. And it's been.
Zane
Oh, you won.
Matt
Yes.
Heath
Oh.
Matt
Oh, you won.
Zane
That's amazing.
Matt
I don't know if you had seen my Instagram story.
Zane
I don't think I saw the. I saw the moment you won. I saw everything else, though.
Matt
Oh, okay. I'll send that video.
Zane
Oh, I love this. Wait. Okay. I kind of. I kind of. With this.
Jared
Any other year, this boat should have won. Sure.
Matt
Oh, yeah. The night. See that?
Zane
Oh, you know, they had fun.
Matt
They did.
Heath
Just imagine that look on their face when they pull out into the water. Everybody's like, super American 250 theme. And they're just like, yeah.
Matt
There is this one couple on the lake. They sit there with scorecards. And so when you go by, they'll give you, like, either like, we got a nine when we went by. We're like. But I can't imagine someone goes by and they're like, three.
Zane
Okay.
Matt
So this is when my brother announced that.
Heath
Alrighty. Ladies and gentlemen, the results are in.
Matt
From the Rose Lake association, the best in show this year. And I'm pissed I don't have my phone out, but. Suspense. NASA
Zane
and y' all say why people don't have culture. Look at that.
Matt
We were thrilled.
Zane
You know. You know what? I saw that you posted where I was just like, you know, every year you're out there in my head, there's something that y' all just. It's just whack. You guys going around for your. For your uncle's retirement retirement party going to every house and it was decorated and theme of a different part of his life. I was like, that's why.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
And it was like fully decked. Every house that you guys thought that was just friends and family around the.
Matt
Yeah. And each one was. Yeah. You could only join if you knew him during that chapter. So he has a bunch of IU friends. All of his college buddies were at one house and they would come to Columbus, which is the first place. Well, when I met him and came into the world, they were living in Columbus. And then we go to Pittsburgh, then we go to Australia.
Zane
I'm sure he felt very loved that day.
Matt
It was beautiful. And he had like speeches from like everyone in their life. And then he would have videos of friends and family wishing him the best. It was nice. That's really great.
Zane
That's cute.
Matt
So we had a good time.
Zane
So you guys really go all out on these. Would you say this is one of the. One of your favorite holidays?
Matt
Yes, every year.
Zane
Because of how. How many of you just gather together?
Matt
Because we don't. I don't see my cousins that often. Like, we don't really do Christmas together. We don't do Thanksgiving because as we all have, like grow families and our marriages and stuff, we can't make it work. But 4th of July is just our one time we get together and we just go balls to the wall.
Zane
That's nice.
Matt
Yeah, that was my trip. And the baseball game was good.
Zane
All right, brief pause for our sponsor, SeatGeek. Are you and your friend group stuck in the same old routines? Bar hopping, mini golf and the cinema not really doing it for you anymore? We love you. How was yours? Did Tony have a amazing fourth of July?
Heath
Oh my gosh. We just did a little barbecue smash burger action here, here. Hung out at the pool, just kind of, you know, chilled, relaxed. And then it's our first like 4th of July here. So we didn't really know what to do. But we heard about this one spot at Crockett park that was like all out, full day event. There was like concerts, like food trucks, like this. Oh, wow, huge thing. And the fireworks were going to start at 9 o'. Clock. So we stayed up, we waited until about like 8:15 and then drove over. And dude, the amount of people trying to get into this place was outrageous. Roads were shut down just into this park. Yes. Dude, we couldn't even get within two and a half miles of this park to be able to even enter it.
Zane
Wait, why was it so people. It's not like a big open park, like public open.
Matt
You gotta get there early for it.
Heath
Like in our head there's like a church that's like nearby, like across the street. So we're like, oh, we'll park. Oh yeah, church parking lot. Dude, we couldn't even get anywhere near it. There's people walking in the street. It turned into like one lane. We just kept driving around, trying to find a way to get in. By the time we were like anywhere near close, it was already like 9:15. It's going on. We're like, all right, we'll just go home. So we just went back to the house and did some fireworks in the street and watch some stuff from the backyard.
Matt
And you know what? I prefer street fireworks over sometimes the big stuff. Oh yeah, I love just those like those, the ones that like just like just admit up like a couple feet high. I feel like I'm in a Rihanna video.
Zane
Just like the dangerous ones.
Heath
We were. No, we were trying to do ones that were like Tony appropriate. Right? Like we weren't going to be setting off like M80s just massive little sparklers. So we, we did like the little ones that stay on the ground and kind of like spin and do little thingies we saw. Also keep in mind all of these are like 8 year old fireworks that have just been in my parents like garage. So they're they're, like, all expired. We'll just see what happens. So we did these little ones called zips. And you light it, and it spins on the ground and then just shoots up into the air and makes, like, a. And we're like, okay, that was cute. So we were like, okay, we'll just keep doing those then. It wasn't like, anything extreme. We did a second one. It stayed on the ground and didn't do anything. We're like, oh, that was kind of weird. All right, we'll try a third one. One. We set it off, and it goes.
Matt
Zoom.
Heath
Ripped right across the street right at the front of the house. We're like, all right, done.
Matt
We're done.
Heath
Done. That's a wrap.
Zane
But, yeah, dude, expired fireworks, though. I. Dude, all those videos. You don't think that maybe. Maybe you shouldn't do expired fireworks?
Heath
It's just the first one we tried was, like, cute. It went straight up. We're like, all right, these are.
Zane
These are good.
Heath
And then the second was a dud. The third shot right over and went to the house.
Matt
I'm like, all right, put it reverse. Terry. Oh, Terry, no.
Zane
Did you see Newport beach this year?
Matt
Yes.
Zane
That was insane. And I'll. Dude, like, it was much worse than I thought. Much worse than these teenage takeovers.
Matt
Yeah.
Heath
So bad.
Zane
I was going through the. Because in my head, I was like, my parents would never. If they found out that I was there, just even around that area at that age, I'd have been grounded.
Matt
I've been grounded for months, and 400 people got arrested.
Zane
It's so crazy to me how. Like, this. Honestly, like, I knew. Like, I knew, like, the kids were bad. Bad. You know, kids were bad. Like. Like, more recently. I just didn't think it was this bad.
Matt
No, it's. It's getting out of hand.
Zane
Is this, like, streamer behavior?
Matt
It's. Yes. I think it's a. What's the word? An effect of it.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Like, it's this. All kids now are just like, yo, crazy, crazy stuff. Let's film this. Because that's what. Like, streamers. When they're out in the field, they just want, like.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
I don't know. Moments.
Zane
And I'm sure. You know what? I'm sure there was a few. A couple big streamers out there. There that could have possibly brought in, like, a large fucking group of people, too.
Matt
It's good that they were prepared and also made, like, 400 arrests. Like, how do you arrest 400 people? Do you get a perimeter? It's like, all of y' all are going to jail.
Zane
Dude, I think just every cop was there. Every cop within the span of, like, 70 miles were probably all just there.
Heath
Did they only arrest the amount of people, too?
Zane
There's thousands of bad little kids.
Jared
Damn.
Matt
God. Can you imagine? You just had a friend, you, like, you knew someone who actually had a nice house on the beach. You're like, hey, come down to Newport Court. We're gonna have a great time. You're like, sign me up. Sounds great. You get there, and it's just. You can't enjoy it. What do you think?
Zane
You know what, though? As a. As a kid. Dude, that looks lit.
Matt
No, it does not.
Zane
No, no. Like, look, they're like, you know, there. We've all had a moment in our life where you just wanted to be a little bad. You want. You want a little action. I'm just saying, seeing a bunch of horses running around, 400 people getting arrested,
Heath
fireworks popping up, that's like the Purge.
Zane
It's just a little crazy. And I'm not saying it's right. I'm just saying. Yeah, sometimes kids just want a little bit of excitement.
Matt
I just want to know where the. With these teenage takeovers, because they're always running from something, but I'm like, what is the epicenter of, like, the moment?
Zane
I think they're just running from officials.
Heath
Yeah, but they're always running from explosions towards explosions, and just, like, it's.
Zane
It's everywhere.
Heath
I did. Jared, I did save a couple of my favorite firework videos that I saw from this year.
Zane
We have. Are you sure it's from this year? I always see, like, older ones, and I want to see. I always want to see.
Heath
This was my first time seeing this. It reminded me of the video that Matt had played of the. The paratrooper or whatever coming in and getting stuck at the top of the building.
Zane
Yeah, that. That's new.
Heath
No.
Matt
Yeah, this one. Absolutely.
Zane
Right. Did you hear what he. Did you hear what the song was playing, too?
Matt
Oh, the proud stand up. Boom.
Heath
Next. Dude, when I saw, I was like, that is so bad.
Matt
I think he underestimated how big that flag was, and I think it kind of got caught on the tree.
Zane
Yeah, you know, that hurt.
Matt
Speaking of stunts, can we talk about what also happened on the Empire State Building?
Zane
Yes, those happen.
Matt
This couple who are. What do you call them? Not free soloists, but they're heart and urban climbists. They climb shit. They hang off buildings and stuff. This daredevil couple, Angela Nicolo, and, pardon me, I Don't know the girl's name.
Zane
Are they Russian?
Matt
I think so. They're definitely from maybe the same place.
Zane
I mean, that picture is sick.
Matt
And they climb up the Empire State Building at one point, when they get to the top top, they kiss. He proposes to her. They keep climbing one. What a rush that must be. You know what I mean?
Zane
You are, like, after being proposed to, still, you want to get that high. You want to keep going up.
Heath
They want to get high.
Matt
One last.
Zane
And they're holding a giant, like, banner that says here. Can you go back to the picture? When the power of love beats the love of power, the world knows peace.
Matt
Did Noah Centennial write that?
Zane
Wait, why?
Matt
Why?
Zane
No.
Heath
Why?
Matt
He got his Team Choice Award. He's like, it's not what you do with what you have, but what you do with what you have. For others.
Zane
Bro, that's literally me.
Matt
Okay. Yeah. That is not what you've done, but what you do with what you've done.
Zane
Okay.
Matt
For others, I think they.
Zane
I think they get a pass because they're like English, I don't think, is their first language. So I think they get a pass. They're probably Aussie translating from their language, which in their language probably makes sense. Sense. But when you immediately translate to English, maybe it, like, sounds funny. And they're.
Matt
They're both hot. They're hot.
Zane
Oh, I didn't even see what they look like. Oh, yeah, I just saw them. And they're black.
Matt
Yeah, they're hot.
Zane
Okay. That picture goes hard as though.
Heath
Yeah, that's crazy.
Zane
Like, come on.
Matt
And knowing you're both gonna get arrested after, too.
Zane
Yeah, that's. That's. That's hot, dude. I wish he took a better picture of that ring. He. I want to see you on top of the building.
Matt
Building.
Zane
I want to see what. The top of Empire State Building.
Matt
Yeah. Standing in that elevator. Or they have this.
Zane
I mean, how. What's the punishment for something like that? I mean, it can't be that bad, right?
Heath
Did people see them going up? Like, was it like, film? Like, holy, somebody's climbing it right now.
Zane
They notice it. And that's when the helicopters coming. Helicopters.
Jared
I have a funny.
Matt
Hold on.
Jared
This is the audio from the first responders that were, like, in the helicopter
Matt
going on over there. Two geniuses climbed to the top of the Empire State Building at the top of the spire.
Zane
That's New York for you.
Matt
That's awesome.
Heath
It's a little hot, isn't it?
Matt
It's just the beginning of this week. It's not some worker changing a light, is it? Nah, it's a male, female dressed in black. They had some flag they were waving when they were up at the top. And he just proposed to her.
Zane
This seems fake that it's, it's so perfect. What's. What they're like just what they're saying about it.
Heath
I love the act. Ah, what's all the hoopla going on?
Zane
I just propose her. Oh, that's sweet.
Matt
They're both pretty hot.
Zane
Yeah. It's like they look like daredevils for sure.
Matt
But this is. But ok, everyone like either loves it. I kind of think, like, I hate it, like, or I'm like, if everyone was doing this, we'd have a serious problem. Don't do stupid shit like this.
Zane
Like, this encourages other people to. This encourage. Like, this encourages other, you know, maniacs that like, you know, want to feel rushed to climb up another building to propose to their girlfriend. I don't know. Yeah, I can see why people and
Matt
the nypd, those are hard working people that are trying to keep that city safe. And you're doing something like really dangerous that now has to call a lot of attention to it. It makes them feel uncomfortable. Like, I just don't think, like, buildings are a place to be doing stunts. Especially in New York City.
Zane
They don't have them.
Matt
It makes me.
Zane
No buildings. Get rid of them here. More buildings for us.
Matt
What.
Jared
What kind of rubs me the wrong way is that it kind of feels like. I'm sure they believe in the message that they. On the flag that they hung, but it also, it feels like a publicity stunt because they were the subjects of a Netflix documentary called Skywalker's A Love Story.
Zane
That too.
Jared
And then like the, the woman's father came out, was like this couple, they're already married. You know, it's like, so it's already, it's like it, it comes across as like a big publicity stunt for them.
Zane
I bet you, I bet you they wanted to promote the show and Netflix was like, absolutely not. Do not put our name anywhere on your little son because it's illegal. And they went and just did something to get people talking. And then naturally people will find that show. So Netflix is like, oh, I mean, that wasn't approved by us.
Heath
But they're like this.
Zane
Yeah. If that brings people to watch our
Heath
show, I don't think think they're, you know, them doing that. I don't know how to explain this.
Zane
Perform. Is it performative?
Heath
No, I don't think there's that many people that are wanting to do it.
Matt
Right.
Zane
That's all.
Heath
So, like them doing it. It's not like, oh, now all these
Zane
people are going to do it.
Heath
I literally don't think anybody wants to just go do that.
Zane
Especially a couple, like someone who has a. Like a couple who has that same interest into climbing up to the top of Empire.
Matt
That's.
Zane
I mean, that's, that's rare.
Heath
But then, like, what? Like, like they just have to apply for a permit if they wanted to.
Matt
Well, yeah, it's like when, like Alex Taipe 101. Like, yes, that's if it's a stage thing that's approved and like, yeah, you make it gorilla type stunt. I'm not.
Zane
The thing is that it's not as cool as this, though. Yeah, you can get a permit for it, but like, yeah, that's not cool. Being a daredevil in all black, holding a big flag that says whatever about love. You just got proposed to too. There's something magic.
Matt
Iconic.
Zane
Yeah, it's, it's.
Jared
They got a laundry list of charges, though.
Matt
Oh, they're being charged with burglary, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, violation of local law, possession of burglar's tools, criminal tampering, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct. Because of what, the kiss?
Zane
It's all in the name of love, though. All right, brief pause for our sponsor, Rocket Money. I feel like adult life is basically just death by a thousand endless charges. Heath
I have another love story for you, and it's actually a Florida man love story.
Zane
Let's hear it.
Matt
I can't read.
Heath
Okay, so I have a video for you guys to watch to go along with this, but I'm gonna give you a quick little rundown, okay? Just so you know what's going on. So basically, there's a cop in Florida that meets this lady at this kind of, like, event, party, premiere type thing for, like, a show, right? And he absolutely falls head over heels with her. A little bit creepy, like, trying to get to know her, like, asking for her name. Instagram. She was kind of, like, weirded out, but ended up giving, you know, her name.
Jared
This.
Heath
The cop does the most illegal thing you can do and searches her up on this database to find out, like, all the information about her, where her Li, like, where she lives, what car she drives, everything.
Zane
Oh, God.
Heath
And then he uses this AI thing that, like, works with cameras to be able to track wherever her license plate goes.
Zane
Oh, wait, you can do that?
Heath
Yeah, I guess so. So then he tracks, like, he's, like, watching her, Gets in his car, tracks her down, down. Catches up to her on the highway, but he's doing all this illegal crossing over, cutting people off just to try to get up to her. All right, go ahead, Jared. Play this.
Narrator/Reporter
Videos that we sped up here show the cop, Lamar Roman, passing a dump truck in a no passing zone. In his chase for the woman's vehicle, he passes another vehicle, nearly causing a collision with a white pickup truck. When he finally gets his cruiser directly behind hers, he flicks his sirens and lights on and pulls her over.
Zane
Get your lady, officer.
Narrator/Reporter
According to court documents, after Lauren met the woman on the set who he cat called and harassed into giving him her full name and Instagram details, the cop illegally looked up her vehicle information on David. A Florida department of motor Vehicles database for law enforcement so he could find out where she was at all times. Roman told investigators that he saw the woman as a, quote, shiny thing and knew that using surveillance tools to track her was illegal. According to police records. He told investigators, quote, I knew that when I put her into David, I'm like, and that's why I stopped right there. And nothing else else, boy. He investigated the woman, then used a powerful license plate tracking Database to find her location and chase her down as seen in these videos. 404 Media obtained from Roman's police cruiser and court records.
Heath
That's wild.
Matt
He thought he was being like, okay,
Zane
I mean, look, if this happened in a rom com, girls would be head over. Oh, my God, that is so cute. But when you see it in like real time, in real life, you're like, oh, that's bad.
Heath
Yeah, that would be in like one of Alicia's smut books or whatever.
Matt
Yes, yes.
Heath
He dressed me, he stalked me, and then he pulled me over.
Zane
Absolutely loved it.
Heath
He pulled me over and I pulled him in.
Matt
If it wasn't. If he hadn't had the history of like harassing her on the set of this, like, show. And there wasn't like, if it was just like, I gotta find that girl. She was just the cutest girl ever. And like all he had was just a name and then was like, I need to.
Heath
Damn. He couldn't just hit a. Like he couldn't do like a tick tock, do your thing type moment.
Zane
Yeah, easily. And also like, did she. How did this even come up? Like, like after. Do you think she reported it? Like, how?
Jared
She had to.
Matt
She.
Zane
She reported. She was just like, oh, there's no way he stopped me.
Jared
Yeah.
Zane
And like, this is authentic 100. It would be. Look, if they had a good moment at this party and they exchanged information and he wanted to do something like, real cute. He's like, oh, I want like a good. Like, you know, like we really like each other or you know, they like each other. He just wants to add story.
Matt
Yeah. Like, be like, oh, yeah, my dad was a cop and he fell in love with my mom. But like, he didn't get her number, so he pulled her over.
Zane
Yeah, but like, he didn't tell her that he would do it. But like, he knew she liked him too.
Matt
Yes.
Zane
Then it would be fine. But she, He. He would still get in trouble.
Matt
Right, bro?
Heath
But then his like, confession. I thought she. I saw her as this shiny thing. I knew it was wrong. And then like, what?
Zane
Yeah, well, I mean, and he was
Matt
like, oh, like his. The whole thing about being a cop is that to give your statement of the sides of story that is in police training, you have to like, remove personal bias. You have to be very factual. But he's just like, yeah, I did. I was like, oh. And then, yeah, like, probably shouldn't have
Heath
done this, but dude, she was this shiny thing, man.
Zane
This isn't like a suspension. You get fired for this.
Matt
Right?
Jared
Like, this is.
Zane
You are definitely a liability.
Heath
Probably also jail time.
Matt
Yeah, it makes me even cared for her too now.
Zane
Like, I honestly genuinely didn't think was it was that easy.
Heath
I knew.
Zane
I knew cops had, like, info like that. I just didn't think any cop could go and access it. I thought you needed to go through an approval. You had to go through a certain company in order to obtain that information. I didn't think any cop could just go into the station and just look it up on their database like that. Yeah, I know shows. I know shows show that. Like, shows will show them going in, but they show them also going into the room and looking outside to make sure no one's watching.
Heath
They show. Yo, I need a favor. Can you look this number up for me? Like a cop asking, like a higher up person?
Zane
That is access. Yeah, but dude, that's a risk on them. You know I would never do that for a fellow officer.
Heath
She likes you, right?
Zane
Yeah, yeah, no, no, we actually. We've been on a few dates. No, no. She'd find this hilarious.
Heath
All right, man. I guess.
Zane
Was he like a dreamer? Like, was he or not a dreamer? Was he. Was he dreamy? Like, was this guy, like, attractive?
Heath
He's the. He looks like the. The. The mug shot model, maybe on a good day.
Zane
No. Okay. I mean, she was a shiny piece. What does she look like? They're not gonna show her.
Jared
He was only on the job for a year.
Matt
I saw a video of this cop, and I don't know if it's new or old, so I'll just like. I don't even know if you need to look it up, but maybe look it up. As I'm explaining it, a cop was like, arrested this drunk woman. Woman. And they're driving like he's taking her to jail.
Zane
Okay.
Matt
And then the. The woman kind of like they start, like, hitting it off.
Heath
Yes, I know exactly what you're talking about.
Matt
And then, so he pulls over, like, turns off his body cam and everything, gets in the back of the car to, like, have sex. But the caught the cop car door, like, shuts, and they both lock themselves in the cop car. So he then has to call another cop to come unlock the car.
Zane
And the body cam was on there.
Matt
And, well, the body cam note has been off.
Zane
No, but he's.
Heath
What happened to him opening it?
Matt
He goes, well, no, she had trouble breathing. And I went in the back here to make sure, like, she was okay. And when I did that, it's like, you know, when the kid's like, mom, I was uninstalling the virus. I was uninstalling the virus.
Zane
I got to see this video. I have to see this video cuz I. I've never seen this story.
Matt
Is this new or old? Oh yeah, 2024.
Zane
I haven't heard it though and I've never seen it. So it's new to me. San Diego, y' all are freaking.
Heath
No, but the whole lead up to of the cop conversation with the body cam on before he shuts it off, like she's getting all like FL with him and he's like, girl, you better stop.
Matt
Yes, that's.
Zane
You see, like to me it's like that's all recorded already. You're.
Heath
You're ready for done.
Zane
The minute you turned it off after that conversation, you're like, what? Like I don't understand the thought process
Matt
behind because I think if they think they get away with it, no one's going to look at the body cam footage. That's why they think like, oh, I can get away with this if nothing bad goes down. But I think it should be registered from the moment you have a person in your car are and they should know like once you have someone under is fully detained.
Zane
Okay, well I can't hear you now.
Matt
Oh, don't say that right now. She said I'm dtf.
Zane
Don't say that right now.
Matt
I said don't see that right now for the test because everything's being recorded right now. Yes sir.
Zane
Let's get down to business to defeat the puss.
Matt
Oh yeah.
Zane
Oh, here it is.
Heath
2:37 in the morning.
Zane
Oh my God. There's no you.
Matt
He has his flashlight out. Like he's been.
Zane
The way he was sitting too. You knew like I need to be sitting in a way where there is no question that I was not doing this in the back of the car.
Heath
Let me turn my camera off. They got to stop doing this.
Zane
Yeah, let me turn this off real quick. Do you think that girl in the back of the car was. There was. I feel like she was. Had three different thought processes in her head.
Matt
Right.
Zane
Like in that moment she was like either just horny and it was just like anybody that was there, she would have or she had this. Always had this fantasy to hook up with a cop or she was like, I need to get out of this ticket.
Matt
That's what I think.
Jared
Yeah.
Matt
Drunk decision to do that. But being like if this is the last resort and I. I don't want to go to jail.
Zane
I think it was a way to
Narrator/Reporter
get out of it.
Matt
Yeah. Yeah, definitely. But do you think like right when the door. Do you think they still had sex? Like right when the door shut, do you think he's like, we have to stop.
Heath
I don't think he noticed it until it was done and then was like, all right, let me. Let me get.
Matt
Yeah, what did you think you're hoarding?
Heath
I want to know how long he sat there trying to figure out how to get out before he made that call. Like, dude, you got to come get me out.
Zane
You know what's so crazy?
Heath
Do you think he was trying to kick the.
Zane
Why couldn't he just. Just drop her off, get her number, and then. And then meet up after? It's so simple.
Heath
Well, the thing would be, I guess his, you know, the heat of the moment, whatever, but like, he would have to drop her off at jail. She's gonna be in jail.
Narrator/Reporter
What?
Zane
Oh, he was gonna screw her and then take her to jail after.
Matt
Well then that's the thing. I think that that's what's so bad about it. Because there's no way that you detain somebody and then d. Detain them and drop them off.
Heath
Hey, officer, come here real quick. It shows that you picked her up 20 minutes away from the station. It took you an hour and a half to get here.
Matt
Yes.
Zane
Can you. Can you imagine her being dropped off of the station after? And she gets. He like sends her off and she's just like, I see you later. Yeah, go on with being her dress back down.
Matt
Cuz that would have been evil though, to her. Cuz she's like, we just had sex and you still took me in. Like, what the.
Zane
Uhuh. And then she's at the st. Ah, he me.
Heath
You know. You know, she was about to be like, oh, you're. You're gonna. You're still gonna take me in? It'd be a shame if everybody there knows what just happened. You sure about that?
Zane
If I were to make a guess, I don't think they did it in the car. I think that door closed behind him. He noticed. And then he was just like, oh, I mean we're.
Matt
She just went, let's have some fun. She stuck out that stiletto heel. He goes, you did not just do that. Like, we're both in this together, aren't we, officer?
Zane
Oh my God, dude. That. I could see her imagine her being hired by like somebody to like, we need. Like he needs to be fired. Like, figure out a way. And she's just like, okay, I'm just going to be drunk. And then I'm going to commit something. He's going to arrest me and I'm going to. And I got this. And I'm going to close that door because I know doors lock. Was she a raver? Why is she like, what was the.
Matt
Just drunk.
Zane
I know, but like, where did he arrest her? Were they, like, was she out in the town? Was downtown?
Matt
She is all respect. She is dressed like a sex worker.
Zane
No, I. That's what I'm saying. Like, I. She looks like a raver. Like, she looked like she was at a rave. And I think San Diego. Aren't they hot?
Matt
But she has furry pink boots.
Zane
Can you imagine? Oh, boy.
Jared
Outside of a 7 11.
Heath
Before we continue, this episode is sponsored by Shopify. Listen, if you've been sitting on a business idea, Shopify makes it easy to make it happen. Everything you need to start selling is included and ready. From day one, Zane and I actually have used Shopify for all of our business endeavors. And if two goofs like us with zero background knowledge can create a website and start selling a product, literally anybody can do it too. From the moment your first customer is ready to pay, Shopify checkout helps more of them finish their purchase. And when they come back, their details are already saved. One tap and they're done. And honestly, it was such a confidence boost and relief when I could see how easy it was for our customers to sign up and check out with no input on our end. And since Shopify handles the setup and checkout, you have more time to focus on growing your business and the tools to do it and being able to have Shopify behind us. It let us focus more on important stuff like marketing and driving traffic, which lead to more sales. We've all been on a certain marketplace where you often have to contact the seller, specify the quantity and which selected items. Absolutely not. That's a hard pass for me. Plus, if you didn't know, Shopify powers millions of businesses worldwide. From household names like Mattel and Gymshark to small businesses just getting started knowing that these giants trust Shopify's infrastructure allowed us to relax and trust the Shopify platform.

Jared
Oh, it's our 711 episode.
Matt
Oh, hey, that's what.
Zane
Oh, My God.
Jared
This episode just comes out on 7 11. So I thought the colors would be fun.
Matt
Get your free Slurpees. Guys.
Zane
Guys.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Oh, my. When's the last time you got a free Slurpee from there?
Heath
Years.
Matt
Years, Years.
Zane
Is it worth it?
Heath
Well, it's just the line is outrageous.
Matt
No, not all the time.
Zane
I've never been there where there was a line on 711 on free Slurpee day.
Heath
Yeah.
Zane
I don't think I've ever seen a line in there because I think it happens so fast where people can go get their Slurpee so quick. Yeah.
Matt
It's self serve. It's not like. And there's so many 7 11s. It's not. It's crazy. And they give you like a Dixie cup sock.
Zane
Guys, like, you know what, guys? I feel like people. A lot of people still don't know about this. I remember when I found this out, like 10 years ago, I was in shock. And it was like. And they had this for long before I found out. So I feel like a lot of people just don't even know about this still.
Matt
What is your favorite Slurpee flavor? If you're going slurping red. Cherry red.
Zane
Oh, yeah.
Matt
I'm a blue slurping. I'm a little blue raspberry kind of guy.
Zane
Mountain Dew confetti. Chilling a birthday cake.
Matt
Wait, is it cake flavored Mountain Dew? I don't know about that.
Zane
I fuck with it.
Heath
I know about that. That sounds good.
Zane
I like it. I think that's good. Oh, my. I want to try it.
Matt
Do you remember when Slurpee or 711 was like, bring whatever type of container you want.
Jared
Yeah.
Matt
And people were bringing in, like, kitty pools. Just like taking all the Slurpee you leave, like, just bringing in a Camelback full of Slurpee.
Zane
Is that something that you would want to buy for your household? Like a Slurpee machine?
Matt
No, but you know.
Zane
But no, no. You know that. Not like the big thing. But you.
Matt
A Slurpee machine is so much maintenance.
Zane
No, but you make Slurpees. You can make frozen margarita.
Matt
Okay. Frozen margarita.
Zane
It's a spinny thing, right? It's the machine where it's like.
Heath
Yeah.
Matt
All right.
Zane
There is nothing wrong with having a little bit of Slurp.
Heath
Just how genuine that was. Is that something he would want to buy for your.
Matt
I wouldn't mind a pina colada machine. But like, I was thinking about your birthday gift. I guess I'm thinking the full Slurpee machine. In your house that says Slurpee.
Zane
It's got like six flavors
Matt
up in real estate.
Jared
Just.
Matt
It's just sticky. Sticky city.
Zane
Oh, you know what I want though? I. You know those big Coke machines?
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Like the, like those where you get Coke Freestyle. Yeah, I would have one of those.
Matt
Yeah, but that's. You'd have to have a room in the back full of all the little baggies and that. Like, that's so much maintenance to like in the privacy of your own home. Even David's little. Does he still have the Hawaiian Punch thing?
Zane
He does, but he.
Matt
It's not active cuz that was getting sticky like that. I don't trust the piping on that.
Zane
The moment. The moment he like he showed us that in my head was like get rid of it now. Like for the video. It's funny, but like you don't want it dehydrated. Wait, is it still there?
Heath
Uhuh.
Zane
Okay. I was about to say I was like. I don't think I've noticed he did that because Mr.
Matt
Deeds had that right. And Mr. Like. Oh, it's Hawaiian Punch.
Zane
Yeah, yeah.
Matt
It's good stunt.
Zane
It's a good prank.
Matt
I would want like a good ice machine in my house. Like one that's like Sonic ice with like circle ball.
Zane
Circle ice.
Matt
My dad calls it bird ice. Cuz he feels like just the way it comes out, it's just like.
Zane
Oh, when it's crushed or like the circle ones. Little pebbles.
Matt
Pebbles crushed. But yeah, pebble size. Like it's just like sleet. Oh, smaller than that.
Zane
The little pebbles that you like, right. It's like circle. They look like little asteroids. Asteroids.
Matt
Oh yeah. Though. Okay. Actually that size. That is a flex.
Zane
Oh, it looked like sugar cubes.
Heath
And they're soft. It doesn't hurt to bite them.
Zane
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I with that. Doesn't Remy have one? Yeah, Remy has one too. Yeah, she has a little.
Jared
She has a little.
Matt
Have you all been to Remy's new house?
Zane
We're gonna be.
Matt
We're about to be fun. Just what we're doing.
Zane
We're doing where she. She's doing like a whole sleepover fun thing.
Matt
I'd like to see it. And do people know where it is?
Zane
No, no, I don't even think people know where it is. Like area wise. I think she's very private about.
Matt
I know. I want to respect that and I get respect.
Zane
If I was a girl, I think I would be. I would be way more like scared and more private about like where I lived for sure.
Matt
Don't go to people's houses.
Zane
I can't believe it's the whole thing. Like, there's times where, like, I'll be working out and, like, a family will drive by and their kid, like a little kid. Their parents will bring a little kid up to David's dog door. No, and I think that's insane. As a parent. As a parent, like, you think that's good to teach your kid that you can just do. And also, like, you, again, you don't know anybody in the house. Like, these are still strangers that all live in this.
Matt
Right.
Zane
I think, what are you doing?
Matt
You know, Like, I don't know if they still do it, but they, you know, Hollywood, they would sell star maps or be like, those are always Hollywood homes. No, I think they're accurate. But, like, you see people selling them on sides of street. So you can see where all the celebrities live.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Or then sometimes you'll see videos. Videos of, you know, the Star tours. Is that their name?
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
Where they go?
Heath
Starlight Tour.
Zane
Starlight.
Matt
Sometimes they'll be in front of a celebrity's house and there'll be some viral video of, like, Aaron Paul walks out and greets fans and stuff. Do you think you would do that? It depends.
Zane
I would not come out of my house and make it aware known that, like, oh, I come out for these.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
Hollywood tour buses. That's still, to me, like, to me, this feels so old. Like, I could see this, us talking about this in 50 years going, remember when this was a thing? No. You would get in. Get in a bus, and you would go to people's personal homes that are all mapped out, and celebrities would come out and say, hi, everyone. Be like, that's insane. And that should not be allowed. And the fact that it's like a thing still to this day is so right.
Matt
And it's unexpected. They're gonna come out, people.
Zane
So like, celebrities, they. They still. They get killed by people. People find out where people live and they get killed. And it's crazy that they don't learn just like, oh, we probably shouldn't have this anymore. Because it, like, incentivizes people to find out where people live. Yeah. It's insane.
Matt
And a lot of times they're making it up too. I had a buddy who now they do, would drive people around and he'd be like, oh, that's Tom Cruise's car. Oh, yeah, that's so and so's house. Like, just whenever he felt like there was a lull, just trying to give
Heath
him A good little tour.
Matt
Yeah. Yeah.
Zane
Oh, those are. Those are good stops. Chateau Marmont. That's a big one. I'm surprised they. Do they stop by there.
Matt
I mean, you just drive by.
Zane
No, I know, but I'm surprised that they, like, do that as a stop because I feel like not a lot of people really know about that unless you're in la.
Matt
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Right after we finished recording last time, I texted you guys, yeah, I saw Walton Goggins at the top of, like, Mulholland Drive. Like, what do you mean? At the.
Zane
Oh, just like, driving past it, you
Matt
know, on Laurel Canyon. But he was just front of the line up, Roll Canyon, full convertible down, just, like, probably chewing on Nicorette just, like, being a Walton Goggins. And I was just like, damn, there he is.
Zane
No, that's like a. That's a cool one to see.
Matt
I think when you're a celeb and you're, like, in a convertible, like, you're just asking to be seen. That's true.
Zane
They do want to be seen. And if you ask for a selfie, I think it's okay. But you. Because you. I feel like, yeah, you're in a convertible. There's no privacy there.
Matt
Are y' all convertible type guys?
Zane
No, I don't. My hair. My hair is all. No, I don't. If I want to wear a hat, I can't wear a hat. It's just gonna blow out, and then I'm. And then you're gonna see the five hairs that I have left. I just don't. I know what I know. Walton Giggins has 10 hairs left.
Narrator/Reporter
What are the.
Zane
Is. I know. Don't have much hair left, so I'm surprised he even likes that.
Heath
Yeah, but he's. He's bringing back receding hairlines, man.
Matt
I did see a tik tok, and someone was like, it. It might be coming back. Like, the receding hairline. It's a look, man.
Zane
That's a hairline.
Matt
Wow. It is.
Heath
What's crazy, if you look at that, the. The picture that's opened up, if you unfocus your eyes a bit, it looks like a bald guy with something behind him.
Zane
Yeah, he's just, like, standing in front of something.
Jared
He would look good bald.
Heath
He does look good bald.
Matt
Yeah.
Zane
No, that's. That's why he pulls it off. Like, anytime someone says, oh, no, he looks good with the receipt. It's because he would look. Because they're good looking.
Matt
It's how dense the hairline is once it reaches the end Boom.
Zane
Oh, that's a bad Pick the right. Down. No, no, down to the left.
Jared
This one.
Matt
Oh, yeah.
Zane
Sorry. What am I doing? This is mean. Have you seen the whole.
Jared
The Reddit community of men supporting other men to like, just take the leap and shave?
Matt
Yes.
Jared
Their head? It's such a beautiful community.
Matt
Save it.
Zane
The thing is, I would never. Because I know girls don't like it, so that's why I'm not gonna do it.
Matt
Yes. We're such a.
Heath
Girls like bald guys.
Zane
They like bald guys who are good looking there. It's a big difference.
Heath
True.
Zane
People love my dad bald because he looks good bald. I have the head of a cone of an alien.
Jared
But a lot of times if like a bald head looks better than like a horribly receding hairline.
Matt
Yes, yes. There's a point where you're hanging on to nothing and it's like in even.
Zane
Don't look at me like that.
Matt
No, do not look at me like that. I know he's like, hanging on to nothing. He gave me the eyes saying, I know, you were a perfect candidate.
Zane
To me, he looks good with a bald head. Like, it looks so much better than, than.
Heath
He looks so much younger.
Zane
Yeah, he looks younger.
Matt
Right? And even woman. Women, it's you takes a lot of courage. But like, women with shaved heads looked beautiful sometimes even better than with hair. Well, I think some people's faces, like, especially like a woman, looks incredible.
Zane
I think the woman that choose to be bald, I think they, I think most of them, I think they, they know they look really good. They have a really good face, a really good head. Because, you know, also females have like smaller heads, so like a little bit more petite. It feels it looks good.
Heath
It's crazy that it's not something you can just test. Like, you don't know if you look good bald.
Zane
Well, you can.
Matt
Maybe with AI, you can just show me, show me.
Heath
No, but you don't, you don't know what your head looks like.
Matt
Right. It's gonna, it's gonna be a little. AI is gonna be nice to you about the shape of your head. They're gonna make it look.
Zane
That's crazy. Look how much younger he looks. If he would, if he just shaved
Matt
George, if George on Seinfeld, George Costanza would have shaved his head.
Zane
Yeah.
Matt
But that also added to his character just by being like, you know, but
Zane
I'm going to do a toupee. I mean, I already know I refuse to be bald. That's my hair right now. Oh, my God. Go back.
Matt
But look look, he shaves it. Look how.
Zane
Look how much better.
Matt
He looks too visual right now.
Zane
And you know what? Like, ladies need to, like, stop making fun of us balding men.
Matt
It's who is making fun, who is bullying.
Zane
Not me. Not me, not me. I wear a hat a lot, so you don't get to see it a lot. But, like, the times that you do see, you're like, oh, boy, he's balding. But I feel like that's like. I feel like girls like to go straight for the jugular. They're just like, okay, you're balding.
Matt
In what comments? Like, who's. I want to know who.
Zane
I see girls making fun of other guys. You know, when someone's making fun of somebody else, that's something that you have.
Matt
Yes. You're just like, oh, I don't think making fun of people balding is, like, funny, but it is funny. The girls who would make fun of bald guys, like, friends from high school. You check up and you're like, oh, who are they married to? Guys bald. They probably married him and he went bald. But you're just like, look at you with that bald man, knowing that you would be a person who judge. I'm not making fun that he's bald. I'm making fun that you ended up with someone.
Zane
I also. I don't even. Why am I pretending? I can't. I. I don't. I.
Matt
Good on you. Okay.
Zane
I'm just like, you know, we're still podcasting. You know, I'm just like. But I will. I will get it. You know what? I did see a page of people getting toupees. Yes, they're good, but sometimes it does not look.
Heath
You got to get a good one.
Zane
It doesn't look like their hair because they'll shave the top and they'll keep the sides in. They'll put it on, and it does not match the side. This is the exact page that I actually saw.
Jared
Oh, trust me, Zane.
Matt
I'm well versed.
Zane
This is the exact page I saw. Toupee queen. I. That. It's just. It's a little too. It doesn't match. It doesn't match with their hair. And that's. I have a hard time with that. But it does. I mean, it does look good. I mean, and the guys that she's doing, they have really, really bad hair where it's like, it's time. Like, that guy right there. You can't walk. Like, that's tough. Oh, like, you need, like, you got he. And he knew that, like, I got to do something about this.
Jared
See, but this is a situation in which you shave your head. It would look much better, right?
Zane
I feel like me and him almost have the same head. I would never like. He needs hair. He just needs hair. Like, it's. Some people cannot go bald. It just doesn't, like, compliment them.
Matt
I want to be bald all around my head. I don't want like a strip of hair that I'm always having to shave and stuff where you can tell that I, you know, I want to be just fully bald.
Zane
We actually have the same, like, I
Matt
want to be Mr. Clean.
Heath
Polish that.
Matt
Yeah. Because Mr. Clean. Was he a genie? He always had this. I mean it. Clean.
Zane
He had like magic.
Matt
He had an earring, I think, and he's always just like, was it right or left ear? Slay the genie in the. Aladdin had it on the wrong.
Jared
Well, he's got it in his left ear.
Matt
He is a genie. He is a genie. Because he has that magic kind of like dust behind.
Zane
Wait, which. Which ear is the.
Heath
The right.
Zane
You put a earring on your right ear, and that lets people know that you are gay. When you put on your right ear.
Matt
Yes.
Zane
But when you put on your left ear. I'm straight, but I have an earring.
Matt
Yes.
Zane
And if you have it in both ears, you go both ways.
Matt
I don't know any gay guys going around going, oh, I'm getting an ear pierced. Gay.
Heath
I think it was like an old, old, old thing.
Matt
It's a homophobic playground on the gay ear. Yeah. Because I'm gay. If you're gay, please drop in the comments. Are people still doing that? I would love to know.
Jared
I remember I got told as a kid I used to wear my watch on my right hand. And then a kid on the playground was just. He was like. He's like, that means you're gay.
Zane
And where is he now?
Matt
Gay as hell.
Zane
There you go.
Matt
I hated the one where it's like, look at your neighbor nails. And if you did.
Zane
Yeah, yeah.
Matt
Oh, well, I remember I got that one right. And then it goes, look at the bottom of your shoe. And straight guys are supposed to do like this.
Zane
What do girls do?
Matt
And I did this.
Zane
That one's a little bit more obvious.
Matt
I did this. And they were like, dang. And I was like, never forgot it.
Zane
And I feel like that people that do that to other people, they got caught doing the wrong one.
Matt
Right.
Zane
I have that, like, to me that says that you got caught doing so you need to make up for. Up for it by trying to catch as many people as possible.
Matt
Gay guys say what?
Zane
That's really good.
Matt
Oh, killed me. Kill. I don't think.
Zane
Do girls do that? I feel like girls would also do this.
Matt
Maybe.
Zane
I don't. I think most people would.
Jared
It's just.
Zane
It looks more feminine, comfortable.
Matt
Well, I think I'm just tall. It's a lot of work. You're back, you know.
Zane
Watch out.
Matt
Wow.
Zane
Well, we ended on a magical, technical note. Thank you, Mr. Genie.

Hosts: Zane, Heath, Matt, Jared
This episode is a lively, banter-filled ride with the Unfiltered crew, diving into wild Fourth of July stories, viral wedding gossip (Taylor Swift's supposed Madison Square Garden nuptials!), wild parade fights, prank videos, and, as always, indulging in tangential debates about everything from Slurpee flavors to receding hairlines.
The boys share personal updates, laugh through surprising confrontations (unpaid debts on-air!), and relish in viral internet drama – all while maintaining the podcast’s signature laid-back, “friend group hanging out” energy.

"A fucking huge horde of people...they were being thrown fucking leftovers from the wedding, and they were freaking out." – Zane [08:48]

There’s a healthy dose of making-fun-of-themselves, light teasing, tangents, viral video breakdowns, and honest conversations about both serious topics and pure silliness.
