My. All my dreams are like. All my dreams throughout the night are bad. But it's been like this for a week and a half.

Maybe it's what you're eating. You know how some people have. If they eat pork, they have, like, weird.

But I'm not, I'm not. I've been eating pretty, like, you know, normal, clean. Like, I'm not eating anything weird or random.

Same. I was skiing with Mumford and Sons in my dream the other night. Like, random, but they didn't like me. It's always, this is so sick. But I'm with these people that don't like me. Or they never, like, in the dreams. Like, they were just like, shut up, bro. And I was like, I don't even listen to Mum.

That means we have like, like, like big insecure, insecurity problems. Like, everybody just does not like you in your dreams.

Or I'm like, I was at a pet store in my dream and, like, all the hamsters were dying and I'm like, trying to feed them and get the water to them and it's just all of these animals in a pet store and I can't keep.

Why can't just like a happy, awesome, awesome dream occasionally.

Look at those. But, like, it always starts off sick and then it starts. There's some conflict in it that I'm.

Having and it's just like, really stressful conflict.

What' weird too. Like, you always think, like, dreams are random. You can't, like, control it, whatever. But sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of, like, a dream and then I'll fall asleep back into the dream right where I left off. Which is really weird that your brain can do that. Like, it'll pick back up, like, as soon as I fall back.

That's a good feeling. It's the worst when you go back and it's something else and you're like, I wanted to go back to the story we were doing.

[Heath]

But also it's like when I'm having a nightmare and I. And I wake up out of it. I'm like, oh, I'M glad that's over. And then I'll be like, okay, I'll fall back asleep. And then, boom, I'm back. I'm back to being chained up and.

[Zane]

Like, being for nightmares. I get right back into it.

[Heath]

It's weird.

[Zane]

Dreams I never get back into.

It's frustrating.

So what's the difference between a bad dream and a nightmare?

[Matt]

A nightmare, I feel like something demonic is like, well, I think anything bad dreams are stressful or something you don't want to deal with harming.

Like, oh, you wake up.

Like, if you're being physically harmed.

That's a nightmare. Like, if I'm being chased, about to be, like, if I feel like my.

Life is on the line, that's a nightmare. Something stressful where I feel like I'm not going to die is not liking.

Is this in your dream?

No, this is real life in Patricia and I, our living room, you know, we have this, like, art ceiling. And we knew, like, last year there was a squirrel at one point in the winter. We could hear it, but it wasn't aggressive. But it was every now and then in, I guess, the attic. But we don't have an attic. So it's like. So I know how this squirrel is getting into our house. There's, like, a tree that goes up to, like, the peak of our roof. And, you know, they have those little vents that go in into, like, the duct that's above your living room because the angle of it and I guess there's no barrier behind the vent. This squirrel is able to go up, enter through the vent, and has just been stashing his squirrels or stashing his acorns. And I'm now very conflicted about what I should do because.

Sounds like a dream for me.

[Heath]

That's a good dream because I was.

[Matt]

About to, like, you know, report it to the landlord and be like, I, there's a squirrel that keeps getting in there. I think we need to trim the tree or they need to put a mesh guard and lock up the vent. But what if the squirrel's in there? The moment we lock it up. So then we're gonna have a dead squirrel in our roof. I don't know what to do here. Do I call animal control? Are they really gonna come out and get all the way in? My.

The thing is that you're renting right now, so I'm pretty sure that your. Your landlord will take care of that. I don't think that's something you have to take care of. Right. Yeah, yeah. You just tell the landlord the situation and they will handle.

But I feel like I gotta tell the landlord. But I need to let y'all know if we do cut it and block it up, I would like the peace of mind that the squirrel is no longer in the attic. Like, do we need to make a bridge for this squirrel?

Yeah, for. I went to Vegas for, like, Gladiator for the new Gladiators movie.

It was kind of like an activation type thing that Paramount did in Vegas.

[Mariah]

And Zayn FaceTimed me early in the night, and he showed me that they were in the distance, but he said, the Love island people are here. I'm like, oh, my gosh, that's so cool. He goes, make sure you have your phone on you. I'll FaceTime you when I meet them.

[Zane]

Because we're. We're a whole group, right? But, like, I didn't know they were going to be there until our Paramount contact, she said, oh, yeah, we have you guys, blah, blah, and Love Island People. I'm like, love Island People. Like, wait, from, like, the season, like, the one that came out, she's like, oh, yeah. And then she names all them, like, in my head, like, oh, my God, my eyes going to freak out. And so we. We all get into the room and it's. It's us, the, like, five, six, seven other Love island people, and just a couple other influencers. And we're all taking shots, and they're so sweet. They're having a lot of fun, and they're very personable, right? And I go across the other. Across the room. It was like one. It was in a hotel suite. And I call Mariah. I'm like, wow, you're not gonna believe it. Love Island People are here. Keep your phone on you. Because I know I'm gonna be able to have the. Like, it's gonna happen. So, yeah, have your phone on you. And she's like, yeah, okay. I already knew in the back of my head she wasn't gonna answer the phone. Whether she was away.

[Mariah]

They had a night out. Everybody went out. So.

[Zane]

But I had a feeling, even if she was awake, right? I feel like she wouldn't have picked it up. So she's like, I mean, I'M gonna. I'm gonna let it make them think that I don't need.

[Mariah]

So he tries calling me. I missed the call. And then I wake up to a DM from Liv from Love island, and she. It was them. Where were you guys? At a club?

[Zane]

We were at a. We were at a nightclub because they had us. They had the whole thing at a night. We're in. We're in, like, gladiator outfits. All, like, 50 of us is really cool. They told us to go to a club, like a nightclub. Our table is filled with gladiators. And they had, like, the Gladiator movie.

[Matt]

No, no, we were not. It was not the cast. It was just us. Nothing special. But we were. We were all just partying, and then I was. We were just casually talking, and then I was just like, oh, by the way, our. One of our really good friends, slash host of the podcast, she brought out the podcast because she pulled up my DM and she was like, We've DM'd. We. Her Australian accent. We've DM before. I was like, yeah, no, remember, I was trying to get you guys on the podcast. She's like, oh, I'll come, I'll come. I was like, absolutely.

Kendall. My bad. Kendall. I. I talked to Kendall for a little bit. He. He's so funny. Reminds me of myself. It was really funny. He. We're all like this now.

By the way, real cool question for the gladiator outfits that you wore. They provided all that for you guys or you had to get it?

[Zane]

Oh, yeah. We walked into a room and it was like they had, like. They. They hired, like, like, actors in Gladiator, and they had, like, the spears going like this, like. And you walk in. They had, like, all.

[Heath]

There's, like, an armory, basically.

[Zane]

Yeah. They have, like, an armory section. Helmet swords. A guillotine on this on the side.

[Mariah]

Because everyone looked so good.

[Zane]

Yeah. And then in the bathroom, they had a lady doing. It's still on me. I cannot get it off. It's that, like, sticker.

[Heath]

The gold.

[Zane]

Gold. Like, it's so on my arm, I can't get it off. It's tough. But everybody was in there getting, like, their tattoos done. They're. They. We were together pretty much the whole night. Like, they wanted us to get. They didn't want any of us, like. Like, separating or leaving.

Is Gladiator 2 a sequel or a prequel to Gladiator?

[Zane]

No, it's supposed to be like a sequel.

[Matt]

Is it, like, his son going back, or is it Russell Crowe's character related at all to the characters? This isn't an ad, by the way, guys.

Yeah. Y'all think we're doing an ad every time we talk about a movie? We love movies.

No, but you'll see, like, there was, like, a kid in the first one that ends up being, like, who number two is about.

So we were in and out. So, like, it's like, the best way, I think, to do Vegas. Like, you're in and out. You come back home. Like, you're. It's like you. It's almost like you went out. Like, you went out in, like, an extended night.

[Matt]

Extended night. Yeah. It, like, felt really short, and that's. That's what made it even better.

Nope. We had no time.

But it was just so normalized back then where, like, someone's head chopped up was a normal thing.

It'd be the equivalent of, like, going to a baseball game. You take your whole family and you just go watch the gladiators duel to the death. That's crazy.

Age limit. Or kids could go to.

I think I care about dads with the babies up on their shoulders, like, in the. In the bleachers.

[Zane]

No, they would bring their kids to watch. Like, if someone committed a crime, they're like, everybody, the whole city needs to watch this because they need to show people that this is what you do. This is what we'll do to you if you do bad things. They should do that again. I bet you all behave. I bet you will never do anything. No, we'll never do anything bad. If I. If, like, the city of, like, Toluca Lake was, like, beheading today. Everybody come. You're not. You're. You'll never commit a crime again.

[Heath]

Oh, hey, this guy stole last week. So we're gonna do a public beheading.

[Zane]

Oh, imagine, like, I wouldn't even drive anymore. I wouldn't drive.

The headings on, like, tick tock live. You'd be like, oh, let me watch it. Let me watch that one more time. I'm reading this. I just finished it last night. This book by Stephen King called the Long Walk. And they're making it a movie. And basically, it's set kind of in this distant, totalitarian, like, apocalyptic world kind of similar to Hunger Games. And every year there's a walk, and young guys who are, like, 18 can enter this walk and volunteer. And if you win, you win, like, an insane amount of prize money. But it's a hundred guys, and you have to just constantly be walking.

[Heath]

So whoever's the last one walking, and.

[Matt]

You get three warnings, and then you have these guys on the side with guns, and they shoot you if you pass your third warning. And it's just. You think, like, oh, it's just a walk. But they're.

[Zane]

Oh, it's a movie.

[Matt]

They're about to make it a movie. But I read the book, and it's just like, fucking intense. Just thinking about walking and walking and walking hundreds of miles. Like, they can occasionally get the food. They can get unlimited water. But, like, how long do you think you could fucking walk for? And I think in the book they only make it, like, five days. Like, you can't even sleep.

[Zane]

At least it's walking and not running. Yeah, you know what I mean that you have to be running a certain place.

[Heath]

There's something worse about the walk, though, because it drags it out. Like, I'd be like. I'd be gassed in five minutes on a run and just.

[Zane]

Oh, you actually. You know that it would end in, like, an hour at least.

[Heath]

Yeah. This. You're like, day five.

[Zane]

Yeah.

It's so sad because they're, like, all bonding with, like, each other and talking, and it's all good, like, spirits, and then slowly you start. Can't stand other people.

Oh, no. I'd be happy. I'd be getting into people's heads. I'd be like, yeah, you've been walking a long time, huh? Just, Just. Just so I don't die.

We lock our bedroom door to the rest of the house. And we're just like. We check the ring cam. And then I'm like, should I call my neighbor to then come into our house just to see.

Yeah. I think Somebody's in my house. Why don't you come around and then you go through the front.

Hey. Hey. Are. You said you needed eggs yesterday, right? I actually have eggs. If you. You never gave some yesterday.

I wanted or not to come in, but just to like, be aware of it. So if I ran, like, to be there. I don't know. We were going through so many different things.

Me and Keith are so opposite. When we hear something, we go and we run. We beat line throughout the house.

And we're like, you don't even come prepared. You're just like, nothing on us.

Hearing about the neighbor that had an intruder, we put our pants on and went right to the house. We literally walked out and just were like.

You guys really dive head first into, like, Annie's trouble.

I have a lot of confidence that we're good at defending ourselves. I have no idea. Nothing to back it up.

[Matt]

But my thing is, I kept thinking it was the right side of our hall. And then that's like a trap zone where if the attack.

Knowing you're there, then I have to.

Go all the way down the hallway. I. Or then I run back into our room.

Do you have like a laundry? Like, you know, laundry in the back of the apartment where it's like.

But, I mean, we were debating. It was just our brain. Once again, this wasn't that serious. But we went through all of these different possibilities.

I thought somebody was in our house and was not. Not responding to us. What happened that I walked out and the squirrel. I went into the living room and a picture, it felt fell off the wall.

My grandma.

But what made it fall?

Yeah, Patricia had just put it up the day before, and I don't think she nailed it very well.

So a couple weeks ago, my cousin got married. And a few weeks leading up to the wedding. Actually, two weeks leading up to the wedding, there were a few weird things that were happening at the house. And.

[Zane]

Okay, can you mention, like, the weird things? Just so we have like a.

[Mariah]

That's the story.

[Zane]

I thought. I thought you were gonna say, like, a couple weird things. But then this happened. I was like, I would like to know the weird things because maybe it's connected. Shut up. Saying just.

[Heath]

Literally the person that gives.

[Zane]

No details and saying a story, I'm just like, hey, you really need to mention what. What's going on?

[Heath]

Stupid.

[Mariah]

Okay, so my grandmother's passed away, and then my cousin has grandparents on her other side of the family that have also passed away.

[Matt]

Okay.

[Mariah]

Okay. So the grandparents. Years ago, no longer.

[Matt]

Yeah. Okay. This didn't happen all.

[Mariah]

No, no, no. Okay. So getting ready for the wedding, like, the morning of, we got ready at the house. Okay. At her house. And the night before, Tori was going through the house, and she was like, we need to clean up this place because there's gonna be a lot of people here. Let's take some things off the walls. There's gonna be pictures taken. Let's just make it look presentable for pictures. And everybody coming over. So they were going throughout the house, and they're looking at some walls, and there's this. They have this staircase, and above the staircase is this wall that's high up, and you can't get to it unless you have, like, a ladder. So they're looking at the wall and they're like, should we clean that up? Like, that looks a little messy. So they go up to the wall and they take one thing off of the wall. Now on the wall, it's a shares. Well, there's a shelf, and then there's things hanging on the wall outside the shelf.

[Matt]

Okay.

[Mariah]

They took something off the wall. Not off the shelf. They took something. They stepped back and they're like, that looks so weird. Let's just put it back and just move on. So they put it back, they moved on. They forgot about that part of the house. And hours later they're downstairs now at this point, they hear this huge crash where they thought somebody upstairs fell. Okay. So they run up thinking somebody fell, because that's what it sounded like. And the shelf on the wall, keep in mind this shelf has been up and not touched for, like, 30 years.

[Matt]

No, didn't touch the shelf.

[Mariah]

Didn't touch the shelf. The shelf was not only. It's not like the shelf was put in and it fell. And you can see, like, the screws sticking out. This shelf was ripped out of the wall where the drywall was, like, split.

[Zane]

Oh, wow. Whoa. That's what was on the shelf. Was there any, like, it was just. Or something.

[Mariah]

It was just like. Yeah, like fake flowers.

[Zane]

Got it.

[Mariah]

Yeah. Like little things. But it's been up for 30 years.

[Zane]

Yeah, yeah. No, no, that's.

[Mariah]

So the second even touch the shelf, they touched around it, they put it back. It gets ripped out of the wall. And they were like, this is so weird. So they put it back, and like I said, you could see, like, the drywall sticking out. So that was one thing. And then, like, a few days after that, my. Okay, so Tori, my cousin Tori, who got married for her bouquet, she had these little charms hanging from her bouquet, and she wanted pictures of her grandparents on them to have for the wedding, but she wanted to find pictures of the grandparents in their prime, not when they were super old, just how she remembers them the most. And she was looking for pictures. So she found a picture of my grandmother easily. She found a picture of her grandfather easily. She couldn't find one of her other grandma. And which is weird because we don't stop taking pictures. There's pictures everywhere. She cannot find a picture of her in her prime, how she remembers her. So she's asking her parents. She goes to her mom. She goes to her dad. They're like, I don't know. I'm not home. Like, you can check upstairs, downstairs, wherever they showed her where the pictures were, she's digging for pictures for hours. She checks upstairs, she checks in the basement. Can't find anything. She was like, whatever. She goes upstairs. If this is confusing, the house is three levels. Okay, okay, okay. So there's an upstairs, a middle floor, and a basement.

[Matt]

Got it.

[Mariah]

So she was upstairs, downstairs. She was like, screw it. Whatever. I'll just use another picture. She walks upstairs on. In the middle floor, on the kitchen table. There are now a stack of pictures on the table, and they're pictures of her and her now husband, and they're all pictures of them together. And she's going through them. She's like, where do these pictures come from? She's going through them. In the middle of those pictures is the perfect picture of her grandmother in her prime holding Tori as a baby. And it's how. It's how I remember her in her prime. It was the perfect, perfect picture, perfect age.

[Heath]

But that was the only picture that wasn't a picture of the. The couple.

[Mariah]

Right.

[Heath]

And it was stuck in the middle.

[Mariah]

Automatically calls her parents, and she goes, oh, did you find, like, this? They're not home. Nobody's home. She goes, oh, did you find these? Like, thank you. And they're like, tori, I have no idea, like, what. What you're talking about. Like, I'm not home. This all happened in a matter of, like, no time.

[Zane]

Just like, someone put a stack of pictures of pictures.

[Mariah]

And then she's telling us this story the day. Now, the night before the wedding. She's telling me and my sister the story. And I'm like, oh, my gosh. Like, that's crazy. It's definitely your grandma. I said, go get the pile so I can, like, just really, like, feel the story. Pick. Pile of pictures does not exist. She cannot find this pile anywhere. And they live in, like, a small apartment. Cannot find. She calls everyone. She goes, did you move the pile of pictures? You know, the pile of pictures that we found? She asked her husband, and he was like, no. And they were like, speed cleaning the night before. Like, just. Just. They said, when we speed clean, we'll just throw things in, like, the kitchen cabinets. Everybody does that. So we ripped apart the whole kitchen. And she goes, I have. She still cannot find this pile of pictures.

They had like these two chairs for guests. And there was like a knife with blood in it. Like, oh, this is gonna be really good. And we' in there. There's a whole room filled. We're like, oh, this is going to be sick. We're in the front row. These people that work there, like, took care of us.

It's a huge theater too. Like, a lot of people in here watching this.

And they had us fill in questions. Like a barcode. Like, fill in a question for Chucky to answer and. Right. What you did was so smart not putting your name. Because we were so scared that they're.

Also, I don't know if it's because we went on a weekday. Maybe they pack it more on a weekend, but it was. There was still a lot of like guests walking around the park. Yeah, it was still busy. I will say the. The weekend house. Bizarre.

The weekend house in like a. A whole like sound.

[Zane]

They had. They had like a bar for him too. So like upstairs they had this whole bar section. Kind of like loungy nightclubby vibe where you can go up and get a drink. And it was like a whole like. I think the weekend just did a whole thing with Universal, obviously, but. But like in the waiting room where people are waiting in line for the house, it's like a stage where like it's a. It's a. It's a fake weekend, like like performing, but it's like in front of people, waiting in line. It was interesting. And. But the houses were. Were. Or the maze was cr. It was like straight, like Illuminati. It was like crazy.

[Heath]

People think about Illuminati. They made that the house.

[Matt]

They, like, leaned into it.

[Zane]

Yeah, exactly. I could see them going like, all right, what. What do you think of. What do you think of Illuminati?

[Heath]

What's like a Illuminati stereotype? And that's what they made for every single portion of this.

[Zane]

So I. So I get it. I was like, you know what? They really went off. Yeah. It was. It was really wild.

[Heath]

Not helping their case, though.

[Zane]

I know, but I think at this point, it's like, imagine someone's constantly saying something about you and you're just like, you know what? Let's just run with it. Because everybody thinks this anyways. So I think that's what they did.

[Matt]

But some of that, like, they. They had a house where like, it was a Spanish Monsters or something. Matt. It was terrifying. Like, they did. It was like they.

[Heath]

Monstrosity.

[Zane]

It's crazy what they're like, how, like, it looks like. It's obviously prosthetics, but just too good. It just looks way too real.

[Mariah]

They do a really good job.

[Zane]

Yeah. And you know, that costs so much money, prosthetics, like putting prosthetics on and all that.

[Matt]

But it's universal. They make the movies. They got.

[Zane]

I know, I know.

[Heath]

Z didn't realize that. That all the houses and the sets are in the Universal backlot.

[Zane]

I was mind blown. Oh.

[Matt]

Oh, y. Oh, right.

There's a train, a tram that you can take to the terror tram or something. And it takes you into the back lot lot to, like, walk through. And they had all of, like, the iconic, like, movies. There was. What was it? Psycho, Bates Motel.

[Zane]

Yeah.

[Heath]

It's like, oh.

[Zane]

So I thought that was just like a pop up thing that they had, but it's like, no, this is the actual one that they, like, use. I was like, oh, I. I didn't. I just didn't think that. I just. Yeah, I.

[Heath]

You learn, you know, it is crazy that all those, like, movies are just filmed in our backyard. Like, right there.

[Mariah]

Yeah. Like, Universal backlots have, like, fake suburban neighborhoods.

[Zane]

Yeah.

[Mariah]

So when you're watching a show or a movie and you're like, that was definitely not filmed in la. It was. It's just a fake neighborhood. It looks like a neighborhood in Connecticut or something. They have those back there.

[Matt]

It's Gilmore Girls all over have you.

[Heath]

Done any of the tours? Like, either, like a Warner Bros. Or the Universal backlot?

[Matt]

Yes, I've done Warner Brothers and I've done Universal backlot.

[Heath]

Okay.

[Matt]

I've done Universal backlot, I think, like, three or four times.

[Heath]

We haven't done the Backlot tour, but we've always wanted to. But we went there for the Porsche event and then this. So we've gotten.

[Matt]

You can do it when you go into. Into Universal, the park that's a ride, basically, and you do that.

[Heath]

Right.

[Matt]

But then I also think they have a separate one or you can buy just that as well.

[Zane]

Yeah, yeah.

[Heath]

Pretty cool.

[Matt]

Very cool.

[Zane]

You know the Terrifier movies?

[Matt]

Yes.

[Zane]

They just. They. They made an announcement. They're making a fourth one, which, you know, no surprise. Terrifier. Mariah, wait in Space. Are you kidding me?

[Mariah]

Oh, my God.

How does he get to space? How?

[Zane]

I. If this is real, I mean, I was trying to. I don't know if it's real or not, but.

[Matt]

But Jason went to space, though. Jason did go to space.

[Zane]

So I'm thinking, like, it's so. It's so. The movies are already so goddamn ridiculous. I think they're had. They like. Let's just really have fun with it because it's already a ridiculous movie.

[Heath]

They're leaning into it like Sharknado.

[Mariah]

I'm just going to say it feels like the same people that are making Sharknado.

[Zane]

Yeah.

[Matt]

They're just doing it for the bit.

[Zane]

I think the fan base loves how corny it is and how unrealistic. They're just like.

[Matt]

Like, they'll see it.

[Zane]

Yeah, they'll see it. They're going to watch it.

Did I tell you they filmed the third one at the St. Allen Mall?

[Zane]

Oh, really?

[Mariah]

Yeah. So everyone was sending me videos and they were like, this is so stupid. It was like Santa Claus in the mall.

Went to a meet and greet to, like, meet him. Like, he just loves horror.

But after you guys showed that one scene, like, a year ago on here, I was like, I'm. That is not for me. That crosses the line with, like, horror and violence and gore.

Saw is not. Saw's not there, but Saws, like, a little clever.

[Matt]

Make it a game. I don't want to just see somebody just brutally murdered to the 12th degree.

[Zane]

Yeah, no. Sometimes it, like, makes you think that. Does the. Like, whoever's making these movies, like, do they, like. Is this how they would want to kill. Like, it makes you. Yeah, but that's also, like, the Saw movies too. I think people just have, like, a gory imagination. It's just terrible terror porn. Yeah.
