As we continue in the Book of Revelation, we come to a phrase that Elder Buddy Abernathy has taught us about before: “Behold, I come quickly.” The point has been made already that, at least from our perspective, the term “quickly” doesn’t necessarily mean “soon,” but it really means “suddenly.” When the Lord returns, it will be “suddenly.” But from God’s perspective, it means BOTH “suddenly” AND “soon.” In more than one place in Scripture, we are taught that a day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day. This means that from God’s perspective, it’s only been two days since the resurrection of Christ. Join us today as Bro. Buddy shows us how time does not mean the same to God as it does to us.
