I mean, that's one of the things that we do talk about on the pod is the idea of like making friendships at this time of life feel sometimes intimidating or almost impossible because you.

Have so many people.

But yeah, I think like as Liz says, we're both friendship nerds.

And like, we're just both really interested in the mechanics of friendship and the, just like the entire social, you know, importance and structure and all of it of it. Hours, which is how the pod started. And although if you want to take it even further back some. So Liz and I met in 2019 because Liz was the creator and showrunner of a little show on Netflix called.

And I remember when I saw the pilot for it, or I guess it was the first season had come out, I was just like, this is everything I'm obsessed with. And then I was lucky enough to get to meet Liz about writing on season two. And I have to say, like, Liz ran Such a magical writer's room. And that group of, I fair to say mostly women, like we all did become.

I mean, I'm working on it. It's a. It's a whip. It's a work in progress. But it's. Here's what I'm going to say. I grew up with a mother who was very self conscious about, you know, her body. Her body in a bathing suit. Never was in a bathing suit. Never went into a body of water as a result. And I was like, you know, I'm gonna be somebody who goes into bodies of water, and it is hard to find a bathing suit for anybody that you, like, feel good in, but especially because I'm not like a femme gal, and I want, you know. But I'm also not like a mask gal, so I'm not like, trying to wear a T shirt. A box. Yeah. So the truth is, I still haven't really found a great bathing suit. But you know what? I got the a two year old daughter. I'm going to get in that goddamn pool with her, I'm going to take her in the ocean and I don't give a what I look like because I want to be a better example to her. I want to be an example that it doesn't matter. And as long as you're having fun and you're using your body and you're learning to swim and you're exploring, that's what matters.

[Sujin Park]

That's right, that's right.

The modeling when you have children, perhaps especially daughters as women, I'm just gonna throw that out there. The modeling. The modeling is really, really. And the thing is, is that it doesn't actually work until you believe it.

Exactly. And do I, in my heart of hearts, think I look good in a bathing suit? I know that I don't. But I am dropping the self, you know, torture of like, oh, what do I look like? Especially in LA and you go to a pool party and you know, it's like, guess what? This is what I look like. And it' I can maybe vacillate a little bit better to a little bit worse than I am now. But like, it's not gonna get a hell of a lot better. So I might as well just fucking lean in, can I?

I don't wanna undermine everything you just said because what you said is so beautiful and it's a reminder to us all, but I'm just gonna say you're hot.
