Because boy, I don't know, maybe episode two or three. For a minute I was like, is this my kind of show? And then the twist happens and I realize that for most people the twist is in the poster.

If something happened, a disaster, a nuclear bomb, whatever, man made or natural made, which is also man made these days, happened what this world would look like. And so I sort of like that because it's not often you get kind of that genre in present day.

Boy, do I love a friend. Drama over years.

You follow it up with people your age. Right. They're older than you are, but they're in their favor.

And that's also, I mean, this show, I wonder if a young person, it toots their horn.

I don't think it does. I don't think it does. And I don't think so. Although, you know, my dear friend June Day and Rayfield was shocked to know that I watched every episode of Grace and Frankie and it simply was not made for me. And yet. And yet, you know, you and I watch the summer before I was kissed. You know what I mean?

That's the swinging the other way.

Good TV is good tv. I don't care. Like I said, I'll click on something. I don't want to know what genre. I don't want to know who it's for. I don't want to know anything about it. And so it's funny. It's funny. And you have the tropes, you know, you have the midlife crises, the marriages, the writing. It's a razor Blade hidden in a marshmallow so you don't know how sharp it is until you're bleeding.

Woo hoo. What a high compliment. So it's created by Tina Fey and Lang Fisher and Tracy Wakefield. So these are all. I mean, Lang and Tracy are. They're amazing. You said it was Netflix starring Fay, Steve Carell, Colman Domingo and Will Forte.

I mean, let's pause for Colman Domingo. Yeah. Colman Domingo's outfits alone. Sex and the City. What?

And at first you're like, you know, whatever, it's fine. It's like cupcakes, it's funny, you know, blah, blah, blah.

It gets so, so good. And I love it. I just, I love the twists and turns. Mouth open, agog. Like I'm watching it like a thriller and maybe because it does feel like such a reflection and I'm so invested in these storylines because it does. You know, there's kind of truth. All of their relationships that we definitely relate to all of the relationships. And I'm.

That's why I feel like somebody, you know, in their 20s, like couldn't understand sort of the nuances of being in a, you know, of just being in a relationship for as long. Oh, yeah.

This is akin to. And I measure up sort of like this genre of movies where it's about age. A certain age. Right. Like, did it actually reflect that correctly? When I watched this is 40 in my 40s, I was like, oh, it's a documentary. But I didn't laugh through the one bit of it. I did not laugh. I loved it. But I was like, this is a serrated knife. And if, you know, you know, and I do feel like four seasons. While it's not as, you know, dark as that, I mean, there's just. It's just fantastic.

They had rules, and I forget exactly what it is, but it had to be like closed hoe. They had to be able to slip on and off very easily. And I've had these for quite a while, and I don't think I've talked about it on the show. I want to add some part. My favorite door shoe, they're by this company called Malibu Sandals. And I think they're originally like, you know, it's like a surf type of a company. They've been around for a while and their quality is fantastic. And the ones that I'm looking at, the ones that I have and then I've gifted because people are like, what is that? It's so beautiful. This mule slipper. I'm sorry, it looks like Bottega.

Now this upper part of this shoe comes up pretty high, so it really does fit quite nicely. I accidentally found myself on an accidental hike in these. And I was okay. Yes.

Yes. The thing about it is I like the exercise that the podcast was doing where it's something that you could transition.

You know, and put yourself together quickly and you could still wear this shoe. I think I like the parameters of, you know, like, it's not a flip flop. You know, it has to be closed toe. Yes. So he was my man of honor and I am his woman of honor. And so he's getting married in November. I'm so excited for him. And I am planning his bachelor party. It's coming up in a week basically in a week. So it's really, it's been really fun. It's been really fun.

Oddly, the difference is, is that he does not want a stripper. It's really funny that like he under. I kept asking and he kept telling me no, but is it loud and clear? No, it is not Be the same way. It is not. But it's gonna be so much fun. It's gonna start with us at a gun club outside of la and we are going to be trap shooting. And that leads us into like a pool day at a hotel. And then it's a throwback Hollywood evening where we'll go from the Roosevelt Hotel, walk to Musso and Frank's Grill, then do a bar crawl back to the hotel. So my job really is going to be to keep him alive. And I don't even drink.

I used to. He's gonna have to understand that midday I'm gonna have to take a disco nap. Yeah, I'm gonna have to.
