After much thought and consideration, both Ceara and Allison have decided to step away from Already Friends. We poured our hearts into the show for 5 full years and are so proud of what we created. The AFP community has grown with us and given us so much grace and support over the years. We’re both grieving in closing this chapter, but we know there’s new projects on the horizon. Thank you for joining us in this journey. We’re forever grateful for all of you! We will keep the episodes on Apple and Spotify through for at least the rest of 2026 for you to continue enjoying. If you're missing us, there's 50+ bonus episodes on patreon.com/alreadyfriends

Ep 269: The very last WWYBD of Already Friends. Allison catches listeners up to speed on the logistics of the podcast closing and shares fun highlights from her week. Then she answers listener’s submitted questions about trying to make time for everything, managing fluctuating income, navigating differing friendship communication styles, staying consistent with personal and brand aesthetics, and creating new routines in motherhood to remain balanced. These questions all seem to circle around themes of guilt, consistency and boundaries - which are things so many of us struggle with. In the catch up, Allison talks about how she’s leaning into the energy of change by trying new things. She visited three new fitness studios, tried new dinner recipes, and found a new wind down beverage. She’s celebrating her first Mother’s Day weekend with pilates class, a family trip to the beach and a cacao ceremony. QUESTIONS:I also live abroad and find it so overwhelming to return to my hometown because my schedule is jam packed trying to see everyone I care about. No matter what I do, it still never feels like I am able to give enough and I feel so guilty. How do you balance returning home? Do I have to really narrow down who I see?How do you balance budgeting when your income fluctuates each month as a business owner?I’m really upset about a college friend who hasn’t reached out to check in on me after a fresh breakup from my long term partner. The more time passes, the more hurt I am. How do you stay so consistent with your aesthetic? I'm constantly inspired by different vibes and really struggle to keep my brand on one path. This often then catapults into wanting to start multiple brands so I can explore them all, and then I get overwhelmed with an unrealistic amount of ideas. What routines have you implemented to keep you on track managing your businesses, motherhood, self, and time with your partner? What does a typical day look like, and do you ever struggle to show up?MENTIONS:Say Goodbye To AF: Submit Message before May 15thAllison's ClassPass Link with Free Bonus CreditsTrip Magnesium Drink for Bedtime or PostpartumRecipe for No-Bake Protein BitesSPONSORS + DISCOUNTS: Get Shopify Point of Sale for your business! After taking a two month break to sit with the choice, Allison decided she will also be stepping back from this podcast. It was a really hard decision as she poured her heart into the show every week for 5 years. The AFP community will always be dear to her heart. She took a birth integration trip to Tulum and she visited family in Omaha. She’s enjoying being out of the early postpartum trenches and having more ability to do self-care, creative projects, workouts, and day trips around The Netherlands. Before she closes the chapter for good, she wanted to softly say goodbye so she did this episode and will be doing two more. In the upcoming final episode, she invites listeners to celebrate this closing chapter of Already Friends with her by submitting a Goodbye AFP Message to be read aloud on the show. Ep 262: In this episode, Allison and Ceara reflect on healthy and productive habits they’ve been doing over the years that they plan to continue. We share examples across all the wellness dimensions from nutrition to cleaning to movement to daily coffees. In the catch up segment, Allison updates listeners on her postpartum journey. Ceara got hacked so she spent too many hours dealing with that, but on a positive note - she had lunch with a friend and is getting a solid start on her reading goal for the year. TAKEAWAYS:Small, consistent habits compound over time and create bigger results than occasional big efforts.Habits aren’t just routines — they actively shape your identity and daily life.Breaking goals up into smaller habits and goals makes change feel sustainable instead of overwhelming.Progress matters more than perfection when building new habits.Celebrating small wins helps reinforce consistency and motivation.Struggling with consistency is normal and requires patience and self-compassion.RELATED EPISODES:Episode # 113 - Sydney Adams’ Tips for Physical Wellness - Movement, Meals and Morning RoutinesEpisode # 152 - Accountability and Discipline: The Duo For Success in 2024Episode # 159 - Physical Wellness: Fitness Routines, Eating Enough and Maintaining a Healthy Lifestyle with Grace FrisellaEpisode # 233 - Feel-Good Morning Routine: 5 Habits That Change EverythingEpisode # 242 - Back-to-School for Grown-Ups: Routines, Rituals, and Best Practices for a Seasonal ResetMENTIONS:Hydrogen Tabs - H2TabHydrogen Water Bottle - View HereMass Unsubscribe Emails on Gmail Freezing Lemons Hack - TikTokMeal Prep “Lego Lunch” Method - TikTok and TikTok Ceara’s Ultrahuman RingPostpartum Irritability Skit - TikTokSPONSORS + DISCOUNTS: Get Shopify Point of Sale for your business! Ep 261: In this episode, Allison and Ceara discuss habits, mindsets and patterns that they’ve intentionally given up in order to grow personally, professionally, and emotionally. We talk about saying no, letting go of perfectionism, setting firmer boundaries around accessibility, becoming more diligent about time, avoiding victim mentality, stepping away from extremes, and being more authentic in sharing our beliefs openly. In the catch up segment, Ceara shares about her fitness program, co-working with a friend for accountability, and the beginning plans of her 30th birthday trip. Allison is getting to know baby Hayes, creating fun incentives for her vendors at the shop, and manifesting an office space. If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, over-accessible, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel aligned, this episode is an invitation to pause, reassess, and consider what you might need to stop doing in order to level up.TAKEAWAYS:Growth can also come from subtracting, not just addition. Victim mentality keeps you stuck.Ignore “What-About-Ism” and don’t overexplain yourself. Done is better than perfect. Time is a very precious resource and should be treated with respect. Over-accessibility can lead to burnout and anxiety. Charging what you’re worth changes how you feel about yourself. You don’t need to be liked by everyone.Open-mindedness doesn’t require self-abandonment. Ep 260: In this episode, Allison and Ceara share about the importance of reflecting and evaluating on the previous year before jumping into new goals. We highlight our personal desire to find the balance between starting the year in a restful and restorative way, but also setting your north star for the year to capitalize on the new year energy. We share tangible ways you can reflect, organize and plan the upcoming months such as categorizing with the 8 dimensions of wellness or creating a ‘school curriculum.’ In the catch up segment, we both share updates of our Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations. Ceara spent the week in Charlotte with her siblings and parents. They played a lot of games that were a huge hit with the group. Allison’s mom and sister came to The Netherlands so they got to meet baby Hayes. TAKEAWAYS:Slowing down in January is aligned with nature, not a sign of laziness.Refining and narrowing down your goals can avoid burnout. Reflection before goal-setting creates clarity. Starting the year with intention rather than pressure.Use frameworks like the 8 dimensions of wellness to evaluate.Creating a “personal curriculum” can organize priorities in a fun way.Slower pacing often fosters creativity, clarity, and deeper insight.Doing less sometimes leads to more. The quieter start of the year allows space for emotional processing.RELATED EPISODES:Episode # 100 - 100 Ways To Improve Your LifeEpisode # 108 - Self-Care Series: 8 Dimensions of WellnessEpisode # 117 - How the ‘8 Dimensions of Wellness Series’ Changed Our LivesEpisode # 244 - How to Make Your Own Personal CurriculumMENTIONS:Ceara’s Family Game Suggestions - Wavelength, Scattegories, JackBox, We’re Not Really Strangers Family Edition, Karaoke Machine, PickleballAllison’s Family Outing - Alpaca Eco FarmDIY 2026 Goal Punch Cards - Video on TikTokSPONSORS + DISCOUNTS: Get Shopify Point of Sale for your business!
