Your skin and your bones absorb frequencies, and many people don't even realize that they think we have to hear everything. Well, I'm a deaf person. I was born completely deaf in one ear. So sound is something that can be harnessed without having to hear it. And that was very important to me because I would miss out. So I wanted something that everybody could use it.

If you're a parent of a child with autism, you are being called to rise with love, courage and clarity. This journey isn't easy and most parents aren't equipped, but you can be. This podcast is your invitation to rise higher because how you navigate matters. I'm Len and this is Autism Parenting Secrets, where you become the parent your child needs now. Hello, it's Len and welcome to Autism Parenting Secrets. Today's episode explores a healing modality that doesn't involve supplements, medications or complex protocols. It involves sound. And my guest is Linda Bamber Olson. She's the founder and CEO of Wavewatch. Linda's journey into sound based healing began through her own personal health challenges and a desire to find non invasive ways to support the body when conventional approaches fall short. And the search led her into the world of frequency, resonance and how the body responds when it's gently reminded rather than forced to return to balance. And what intrigued me about the Wave Watch was its simplicity. It's wearable, gentle, and doesn't require a child or an adult to actively do anything. And that alone makes it compelling for families navigating neurological, sensory or emotional challenges. And I've also had multiple trusted practitioners, including my own naturopath, and tell me that they can't stop talking about this device because of what they're seeing. Clinically, when sound frequencies are used intentionally, the secret this week is sound frequency supports healing. Welcome, Linda.

Thank you so much for having me, Lynn. It's really exciting to share with people just new ideas that we need to be opened up to that have escaped us for a couple of generations. We've missed ideas about sound healing.

We have, and it's not uncommon to see devices out there that kind of help with calm and regulation. But using sound in terms of as opposed to vibration or some other mechanism is unique. And I think when at least I first heard about it, I'm like, yeah, that makes sense. But I know I had a lot of questions in terms of how this could work, what exactly it does, who can it help? Because I consider myself a pretty big non responder. I'm not so energetically tuned in as I know other people in my family are. So let me ask you just. I know you so many times have had to boil this down into simple principles, but for anyone who's listening, can you just go deeper in terms of why sound can be such a powerful modality?
