Sound frequency may be one of the most overlooked tools for supporting regulation and healing—especially for sensitive children. This week, Linda Bamber-Olsen, founder of WAVwatch, explains how sound works at a cellular level and why the body can respond to frequency even when it isn’t consciously heard. The secret this week is… SOUND Frequency Supports Healing

Your skin and your bones absorb frequencies, and many people don't even realize that they think we have to hear everything. Well, I'm a deaf person. I was born completely deaf in one ear. So sound is something that can be harnessed without having to hear it. And that was very important to me because I would miss out. So I wanted something that everybody could use it.

If you're a parent of a child with autism, you are being called to rise with love, courage and clarity. This journey isn't easy and most parents aren't equipped, but you can be. This podcast is your invitation to rise higher because how you navigate matters. I'm Len and this is Autism Parenting Secrets, where you become the parent your child needs now. Hello, it's Len and welcome to Autism Parenting Secrets. Today's episode explores a healing modality that doesn't involve supplements, medications or complex protocols. It involves sound. And my guest is Linda Bamber Olson. She's the founder and CEO of Wavewatch. Linda's journey into sound based healing began through her own personal health challenges and a desire to find non invasive ways to support the body when conventional approaches fall short. And the search led her into the world of frequency, resonance and how the body responds when it's gently reminded rather than forced to return to balance. And what intrigued me about the Wave Watch was its simplicity. It's wearable, gentle, and doesn't require a child or an adult to actively do anything. And that alone makes it compelling for families navigating neurological, sensory or emotional challenges. And I've also had multiple trusted practitioners, including my own naturopath, and tell me that they can't stop talking about this device because of what they're seeing. Clinically, when sound frequencies are used intentionally, the secret this week is sound frequency supports healing. Welcome, Linda.
A
Thank you so much for having me, Lynn. It's really exciting to share with people just new ideas that we need to be opened up to that have escaped us for a couple of generations. We've missed ideas about sound healing.
B
We have, and it's not uncommon to see devices out there that kind of help with calm and regulation. But using sound in terms of as opposed to vibration or some other mechanism is unique. And I think when at least I first heard about it, I'm like, yeah, that makes sense. But I know I had a lot of questions in terms of how this could work, what exactly it does, who can it help? Because I consider myself a pretty big non responder. I'm not so energetically tuned in as I know other people in my family are. So let me ask you just. I know you so many times have had to boil this down into simple principles, but for anyone who's listening, can you just go deeper in terms of why sound can be such a powerful modality?
A
Well, I think we just have to start with our own lives. Sound is the first sense that we have in the womb. So we are hearing things. They say it's like a drum corps before we're born. So we don't get sight until, you know, we don't get light in sight until we're born. So we've used sound from the, you know, just weeks after our inception, you know, and they say that sound is the last thing that we have, usually the last sense before we pass away. So we have sound all our lives and we really have not taken advantage of this. It's just, hey, you know, it's there, but we haven't really used it when we know that there are quotes that we were both basically spoken into existence. You know, Genesis 1:2 says, and the spirit of the Lord was hovering or vibrating, you know, so we had sound before we had anything. So that's why I went to that idea to start with. I think it's one of the strongest things that we could harness. And if you just start looking, you don't have to look very hard, you'll see all the ancient ideas and technologies that were used with sound, you know, so what have we missed? What has been used for thousands of years, and it basically was sound. So they figured out many different ways to use it that we haven't taken advantage of. And of course there's a conspiracy theory behind that, you know, that we did a lot more work with sound and measured specific frequencies for different ideas for our self care or health, whatever word you would want to say. But those frequencies were actually labeled illegal. And Dr. Royal Raymond Reif, who in the 1920s measured a lot of these frequencies, was basically put out of business. But before that, Nikola Tesla had worked a lot with frequencies also. So the information has been there, we just haven't harnessed it. So what I did was harness more and more information about frequencies, put those ideas on a watch so that we could be wearing them and our body could be absorbing them. So your skin and your bones absorb frequencies. And many people don't even realize that they think we have to hear everything. Well, I'm a deaf person. I was born completely deaf in one ear. And so that made that fascination more and more, you know, with frequencies. I was very just trying to learn what I was Missing is a better way to say that. So sound is something that can be harnessed without having to hear it. And that was very important to me because I would miss out. I'm actually looking at another tool right now and I can't use it because it doesn't work right with my ears, you know, So I wanted something that everybody could use, and that's by putting it on your wrist and absorbing it through your skin and your bones.
B
Got it. So in many ways the sound frequencies do not need to be audible. Right. Because they're operating at a different level.
A
Yes. And sometimes that's irritating to other people around you, you know, so you want a tool that you can use easily that doesn't upset up other people. And you know, sometimes high pitched sounds, they're a little bit more like a bee buzz type sound. I have over 1100 different frequencies on this wave watch and they are put into about 150 categories. But if you really did the math work, some of these frequency sets have about 30 different individual frequencies in them, you know, so it's kind of like when we hum a song, there are many, many tones behind it, you know. So There are about 24,000 frequencies on the wave watch. So we've harnessed those and put those into really simple so that your body can absorb them without you having to put on earplugs. I mean, again, I look at different tools and you know, you're, you're holding your phone, you're putting on earphones, or you're, you know, listening to something really loud. It just goes on and on, you know. So I wanted the most simplistic tool that I have. So I think that makes it really usable for almost everybody.
B
Yeah, no, extremely practical. And that's where a lot of these devices or possibilities fall down in terms of people actually using it and using it consistently. And therefore it's got to be practical and convenient. So now I can appreciate what went into this, I think as you're talking though, and the power of sound. Yeah, I think this is something that's not obvious to a lot of people, although conceptually it makes sense to me when I hear and think of sound and how it can help with regulation, helping someone from that standpoint. I think of music, for example, in the healing frequencies, like something like whole tones as an example. And there's other things I know that are on Spotify and kind of listening to music in the right frequency can truly be very, very powerful, very calming, very healing. And especially most music is tuned to not in the Right frequency. Right. It's all. Music that's out there is kind of discordant. So I totally see how sound and music in the right frequency can be calming and healing. And then separately, I go back and, yeah, maybe I embrace conspiracy theories a little bit more easily than others, but I'm totally convinced the Egyptians, in building the pyramids, that the way they were able to do that was through sound and vibration. So with those concepts in mind, can you talk a little bit more about physiologically, like, how this works so you have the frequencies, the sound emitting. You don't necessarily have to hear it for it to be effective. Can you talk a little bit about what's happening in the body to help people understand how this can possibly translate into something that's beneficial?
A
And, you know, it's so simplistic. We always want to make everything harder and harder and harder. Today, you know, we want to make it bigger. We want to think that we've done so much scientific research and it costs millions of dollars to do, you know, and the list goes on and on how we try to develop things. I went just the opposite. I wanted the smallest and the easiest thing. So what I glommed onto was the idea that every cell has 70 receptors. And this is from the 1980s from Dr. Candice Pert. This is her research. And she says that when those receptors start to vibrate or feel, you know, a frequency, they will vibrate. That makes the cell vibrate, which touches the next cell, and it starts to vibrate, which touches the next cell, and it vibrates. And then basically that makes it zip through your body at the speed of sound or even faster, because we're going through water. So sound is something that they haven't even really considered because it's so fast, where if you are taking a supplement or a prescription, anything like that does go through your body in a waveform, in a frequency, but it's a chemical frequencies, and chemical frequencies go through your body really slowly, and they're burned up. So all of our pills are only absorbed about 2%. And so that absorption is so slow, it moves through our body about a foot a second, where sound frequencies zip through instantly. And so our body burns them up, and therefore, you have to take them over and over and over again again. Have you ever thought about why you have to take pills over and over and over again? Because our body doesn't get all of them, burns them up, excretes them, and it's gone, you know, so that is the importance of sound. It is not Burned, you know, it's completely used, completely changed, zips through. And so changes can happen very quickly compared to when we take a prescription or a drug that goes through our body very slowly. And that's the simplest way to say that. And that's why we have really kind of been steered the wrong direction. Because if the knowledge was out there that sound can change things very quickly compared to, you know, taking supplements or, or, excuse me, prescriptions over and over again, you know, we never would have gotten into that whole pill regimen that we are now. And of course, there's a lot of money behind the that regimen, you know, so that's why I went the opposite way and went towards frequencies that are absorbed instantly.
B
Got it. That makes sense to me. And I guess the way my mind works, always thinking about root causes. If the wave watch and the frequencies and what it provides and what it provides to the body, if you had to, bottom line, what is the root cause that's going on in the body that the wave watch is helping? How would you characterize that? What's the issue, the root issue that's preventing, healing or creating symptoms?
A
And it is cellular problems, different kinds of cellular problems. So according to the frequency, it's going to zip through your body very fast and rebalance, realign, refocus, lots of different words that you could say on how it is working in your body. So, so many testimonies on using different frequencies in different tools, just not mine, but there are many examples of the use of this. And it is so important for us to realize that rebalancing, maybe that's the easiest word for people to say, it's rebalancing that cell, but it is changing it, and it's making a distinct change. Now, one more idea that I could introduce comes from Nikola Tesla. And so a long time ago, you know, 1890s, 1910s, he had a long history, but he originated the word mortal. Oscillation rate, M O R. And he was basically talking about the changes in a cell, usually from a pathogen. And we know that today as the example of the opera singer that sings a high note and breaks a glass. Well, have we actually ever, you know, used that theory? Yes, we can. That's what the wave watch does, and that's what other tools do. They have a frequency for different pathogens. And when you are wearing that frequency and it's going through your body and that same pathogen is setting in your body, those two frequencies meet. They're the same frequency. It's called a resonant Frequency. They meet and then they self amplify, and then they change, they blow up, they break down, they, you know, a. A lot of different words that you could explain that process. But again, it's the opera singer breaking a glass. So we actually have the ability to change, kill, you know, parasites, viruses, bacteria, all kinds of pathogens with a sound frequency. So I think that is very, very fascinating. And of course, that came from Tesla, but that information isn't very well known today because it would replace so many other kinds of tools. We're not using tools, we're using pills. The pills that we're using could be replaced easily with some of these ideas.
B
Right, right. Yeah. It's threatening in many ways on many levels. As you're talking, though, one parallel I'm making in my head, and of course, correct me if I'm off, but I know one of the most powerful interventions we did for our son that really changed everything for him. And I won't go into the whole story, but it was homeopathy, which is something that I kind of dismissed as nonsense until my wife made a strong case for us to try it, and it changed everything for my son. So as you're talking about how the wave watch works, the concept that comes into my mind is like the law of similars, where homeopathy is trying to introduce energetically into the body something that's similar to what it's experiencing. And when you do that, you kind of gently move, nudge the body and remind it to respond appropriately. So for something like pain, the homeopathic remedy is arnica, which is a really painful flower. And you're basically introducing to the body that essence of something painful to remind it to respond to the pain that you're experiencing. And the body self corrects and heals much more rapidly. It sounds like that concept of the law of similars is at play with respect to sound healing. Is that correct?
A
Yes. And I call homeopathy. It is sound frequencies. Basically, it's a frequency in a bottle, you know, so what they did originally was take a, like you say, arnica, and they, you know, made their preparation with water, you know, boiled it, I'm assuming, and come up with a solution. Then they took that solution and put one drop of it and put it in with a hundred drops of water and shook it up. They succussed it. Then they took one drop out of that, they threw the rest away and did that whole thing over and over and over again. So by the time it got diluted, I think they say 24 times there really was not a chance that an atom of that original plant was left in it. So all that is left is energy frequencies, and that's what we're talking about. So the wave watch is a different application of frequencies, and that's exactly how it works. So very good connection with that.
B
Fascinating. Yeah. And I guess the way I'd characterize it for people who are listening, and this may be pretty familiar, or maybe it's new, but, you know, you have these various categories of ways that you can perhaps help your child with where they are now. And what we're talking about, whether it's with what Linda's talking about with the wave watch or homeopathy. Those are two examples of kind of what's in this category of more energy medicine. Right. A different way of assessing what's going on with your child and very different ways of helping them. And it's very much, very, very different than the conventional or even a functional medicine world. So we're really talking about this different category that's only gaining more and more esteem and becoming more and more prevalent and available.
A
Yes. And then a third category in there is Bach remedies. Bach. And those are homeopathy also. But they are more frequencies for emotional problems. And so Dr. Edward Bach, who developed these from England, basically said, I just love this phrasing that God gave us all of these plants for our physical well being, but he knew there was something out there for our emotional well being. So that was his life's work, was to give us homeopathy ideas for emotions. And so it's the same thing. They are just a little bit more specific. So there's a couple different categories that can be used. And the way watches fits right in there. It's just a different way to do it. Completely.
B
Got it. And I've got to say I'm extremely impressed with the comprehensiveness of the programs you have within the watch. So can you talk a little bit about the conditions and that are out there where this can be something that can help? And I know it's exhaustive, but I'd love to know more about what it covers as well as how did you discern the programs and the frequencies to put in each of the programs. So for example, I know there's a heavy metals detox program, there's various emotional type programs, and environmental stressors are huge. And you see ned programs for. For many of them. So can you talk a little bit about what went into the development of what programs you created for what conditions and then what Went into them.
A
Well, I've done. I'm so glad you mentioned homeopathy. I've done work with another machine for about 18 years, and it had frequencies on it, and you could test for different frequencies. And then the solution was homeopathy. And as I'm sitting there using it, I'm going, oh, we need to be putting these on our wrist, you know, so I took that experience that I had for 15, 16 years and, you know, was able to transfer it to a different idea or a different tool so that we could wear it about and so that everybody could try to access it. So you had to use names. They already had the frequency measured. They. They came from Dr. Royal, Raymond Reif, and again, Tesla. So a lot of frequencies are measured. They're just not accessible to people. Most people don't know about them. So the hardest part is to educate people that these frequencies are available for us to use, you know, and that we. We could be using them easily. So we need to make it accessible and cost effective. And I know this sounds a little bit simplistic when I'm saying this is in the 6 to $700 price range. Retail price is right at 700, but 24,000 frequencies. But today, they're developing more and more products that are using one to two frequencies. I saw a tool the other day that was a big old box, and it had one frequency on it. And then you sat there and you get your back rubbed or your spine or whatever, and they're putting a frequency into you for pain. And the product costs $79,000. So what I did was take the opposite. I packed as many things in. Like I said, I got 24,000 frequencies on this watch, as far as I can tell. And to use it and to educate people and to use simplistic terms, we did have to be very careful to be considered a general wellness product. So we do have 150 categories, and then those behind the scenes, there are 1100 ideas in there. So when we look at a frequency set, your body is just absorbing it, obviously, and the frequency was measured for a specific idea. So there are tools for your brain, specific frequencies for different kinds of brain problems. There are specific frequencies for children or for kids. So we have all kinds of tools. And I guess I could read this one off here. We have frequencies for kids, cough, kids first aid, all kinds of cuts and healings and things like that. Kids sleep aid, very specific for helping them to sleep spectrum balance. We have frequencies for kids viruses and for vitamin support. Very, very specific. So that's just a small portion so everybody in the family can wear a watch. They could share it. It doesn't have to be one per person. It's great because I have several examples of families putting a watch on their. It turned out to be two boys at night. And I thought it was so funny. It was two. Two different kids got up the next morning and said, hey mom, this is my watch. You get another one, you know, so they definitely liked it, you know, and they were using the sleep feature on it for nighttime sleep, obviously. But that's just a small portion. Sometimes people use it for their pets and that's so fun to get all kinds of testimonies that they have shared it or put it around their pet's neck who was having XYZ problems. So this tool is useful for everyone and you can pass it around, you can share it with your neighbor, that kind of thing. Because of the categories. So there's categories for different organ system for men, for women, for weight loss, for all kinds of pain and for self care. So we're talking about lots of different ideas. Specifically, the tool has been wonderful for kidney stones. And I think maybe people might look into this a little bit with a simple explanation. Sometimes we know about lithotripsy, which is the medical answer right now with a huge machine and they actually use ultrasound and the Scientific American article in there says they actually don't know what ultrasound frequencies to use. So they just bombard you with every frequency you know. And so if you're getting lithotripsy, you are getting pounded with different frequencies or I've had 30 testimonies in office. I'm not saying it's a double blind study, just letting you know on these be found online. But 30 people have worn the watch and in 30 minutes it seems like their kidney stones have been gone because the stones were pulverized. Their urine samples showed all kinds of flecks and flax and flakes and whatever you want to call it. Different colors. Like one woman had five rice sized granules, they were flat but you know, that actually left her body and their pain went away. And you know, how could you not be excited about that? Isn't that such a different way? So we use frequencies, but we use precise, defined frequencies that were measured specific for kidney stones. And so that's the power of using frequencies can be very, very much easier.
B
That's great. No, I'm super. That's got a lot of personal relevance for me. I'm terrified of kidney stones. It runs in my family and I know for people listening, this might seem implausible. And yeah, it's always very healthy to be skeptical of anything that claims to do too much and can solve any condition. But all I can share is that firsthand, I mean, homeopathy itself, homeopathic remedies have been game changing for my family. And it's the only medicine my son's ever known. And if there's any kind of condition, cough, any kind of ailment, there's a homeopathic remedy. And it seems to really help him tremendously. So I think the concept that these energetic modalities can help literally with any condition, to me, is not implausible at all. And again, it may take some refinement in terms of which programs and a little bit of trial and error to see what's gonna resonate with your particular body. But I really appreciate all the thought and the comprehensiveness of what you've created. And if you do have some of those anecdotal testimonials of like, physically changes that are happening before and after, that's beyond compelling.
A
And I think I have one more little hype idea and update for most people. You know, we've been taught, most of us have learned by this time that our nerves are electrical. You know, you've heard that, haven't you? So everybody has. But now they are saying the newest scientific evidence, which comes from the Niels Bohr School of Physics in Denmark, they are saying that their testing is showing that our nerves are actually not electrical. They're sound pulses. So when you look into their studies, and I've had several people who are scientists actually look into that and go, oh my goodness, we have missed this. You know, so that concept might take 50 years for us all to relearn. But what we're doing now is taking advantage of that idea with the wave watch, because the best testimonies have been for pain and nerve pain, basically. So we've had people who have had essential tremors, you know, and Parkinson's tremors, things like that. Different kinds of nerve problems that have just gone away. Unbelievable. Within 30 minutes, some of them were three minutes. I got some that were during. You know, one lady and I do have a video of that, she had Bell's palsy. One side of her face was drooped for 20 some years. And during the time it took a group of people to eat dinner, they were sitting around her and watching her wear the wave watch. And people started videoing and asking her questions. And we saw her face change and her body pull up in 30 minutes or the time it took us to eat dinner. So that's less than 30 minutes. And so these can work very, very quickly. And that's what the newest science is telling us. So there's a whole nother idea for people to absorb and relearn. Hey, maybe our nerves are not electrical.
B
Yeah, no, it's a powerful game changing concept. And I guess you're moving on to exactly where I was hoping we'd go in terms of practically how does this work, what to expect. And I guess you've answered that question where the amount of time to be able to see an impact from this does not take weeks or months or years. That it absolutely can happen earlier, perhaps even immediate. And so can you talk a little bit more about that? And again, just maybe describe practically how long does it. Is one expected to wear the watch? Is it like five minutes? Is it an hour? Is it constantly on? And particularly the audio. I know some people can have it audible where you can actually hear the sound frequencies and other people turn it way low so they're not hearing that. And apparently that doesn't impact the efficacy. So can you talk a little bit about more what it's like to experience this?
A
You just want to set it for your comfort zone. It has to be. You don't want the setting on the sound on zero. Nothing's going to happen. But you can change the sound setting so that it's comfort for you. If you're in a car with 10 people, maybe that's a little bit too small of a space and you want to turn it down a little bit. Or maybe you want it just as loud as it'll go so that you can hear it. Maybe it's something that you like, but there's not a right or a wrong on it. And again, I can turn it up, but I can't hear it. Does it make any difference to my body? It doesn't seem to be. So I think I kind of got off on that just a little bit. But you can set it. We don't know how long some things take. This is kind of a new type of an idea. But again, they seem to be so quick using that scientific idea that sound travels through our body. You know, it sound travels fast, as fast as the speed of sound, you know, so it goes through our body very quickly and changes happen sometimes again so quick that you're astounded. I do have example of a lady who called us on a zoom call from I believe England. She didn't identify, but she had that accent. And she was really emotional because she said her child had pots and panda and had tried to commit suicide. And her 14 year old son was, you know, just really having so many problems. And again, she was crying so hard, it was hard to get it all. But she does have that testimony on Instagram if you want to try to look that up. And she said that they got the Wave watch on a weekend and, and then again she's crying and continuing and saying, and by Monday I saw my son normal for the first time ever. Would you be pleased with that?
B
You know, well, that's incredible. And I think everyone listening is hoping for something like that, Right? Something that has an immediate impact or a swift impact. And in terms of, you know, this podcast is called Autism Parenting Secrets. Even though everything we talk about is not specifically related to autism, but the autism journey can be particularly challenging. And so for anyone who's listening, it seems like this can be a great solution for your child. It can be a great solution for you. And again, everything we talk about in this podcast is helping you as the parent, get into a much stronger, clearer, more regulated version of yourself to make better decisions. But my guess is you have many more testimonials from real life examples of people who, if it's the autism symptoms that are the challenging ones, that this Wave watch can help with those behaviors, those emotional challenges that someone's facing. And I know it's not specific to autism, but it can be a very, very good fit for those symptoms that we label as autism. Is that correct?
A
Yes. Right. And another example I can share fairly quickly comes from Denmark. And you can also see that testimony on Instagra. And the father is telling us that his daughter, who's about 12, has been bedridden for two years and wasn't necess maybe some kind of depression. They didn't know exactly what it was. She'd been to all these doctors, they'd take her and then she'd come back and go to bed. They'd have to get her out of bed to go to the bathroom. Full time care, basically. And he said she got the Wave watch and wore it for two sessions. Now, we're not exactly sure, but we thought he meant two hours because a particular frequency set is about an hour, a little over an hour. So his phrasing was she wore it for two sessions and then like I mentioned, she hadn't gotten out of bed for two years. She wore the Wave watch this short time period and got up and walked a kilometer. So, you know, if you want to see his testimony? It's online. You know, so things can change, and that's what we want. You know, they may not have the use the frequency set you would recognize, but to them it did something. So if you try something and it doesn't seem to have a change, try another frequency set that might be in that same category or that same idea. And sometimes we all need to detox. I tell people to start on something that I have labeled the first wave, and it is frequencies for Lyme disease and for parasites and for detoxification of about 40 different ideas, I believe, and also for killing different pathogens that can be very dangerous to our system. So even sometimes covering some of those ideas, just clear somebody up. They might may not have realized that they were born with Lyme disease.
B
Go to, you know, wave watch.
A
That can be problem.
B
Yes.
A
Behind our autism. So many problems. Sometimes just covering a different area makes a difference in a child's life or in your life.
B
It's easier for you to give this a test drive for yourself or your child and your family causes that. That's where you would go. So. And thank you so much for sharing. Where else can people go to learn more about you? List goes on and on about what might potentially be holding your child back. And. And the amazing thing is, yes, this particular device can help address those root causes. And now I'll just pause by saying, hey, we're not giving medical advice. This is just a tool that could support overall wellness. But I know in the practitioner I work with, and you can also go there to learn more about Linda's backstory and more of the science behind how this, particularly with respect to metals. So I know she was advising in terms of using a binder of some form while doing. While doing these protocols, because if you are addressing some toxicity within the body through sound, if energetically something's being freed up or even physically being freed up, you'd want to have some means to escort them out of the body. And sometimes maybe a binder could be as simple as Himalayan sea salt in water that you drink throughout the day to help with that. Would you agree with that in terms of if the people are detoxing, what else they can do?
A
And I also built frequencies into the detox program for lymph detox, liver detox, kidney detox, so that it has all kinds of detoxification frequencies built in. And then I do tell people to make sure they are taking adequate amounts of unrefined natural salt.
B
Got it. And staying hydrated. Right. Which is important no matter what. But even more so if you're going through something like this. No, that's fascinating. And I think it's clear to me what this looks like. And it sounds like the program's, you know, have a certain time frame. And my guess is that if somebody's using it and for whatever reason, they just want to go slower, like, to have the watch on and to have that experience for 10 minutes and maybe you build up to the full programs would be very prudent. And I would just say that overall, something like this, absolute upside. And really no downside from wearing a watch like this. Right. The worst that it could do is do nothing. So people are worried about what's the downside or how does this impact other things they may be doing? That's the beauty of something in this energetic area either helps or it does nothing. Correct.
A
Definitely. And sometimes people say, well, can pregnant women wear it, or can somebody who has a pacemaker wear it? It's the same idea. Well, does your doctor tell you that you can't ever talk to somebody or listen to music? Well, no. Well, then why would a tool that uses quote unquote, music or sound be dangerous for you? So that's all it takes people to. Oh, my goodness, I did not know this was available. And how we missed this for all these years.
B
Yeah, no, that makes sense. Although I would say I'm probably in that camp where I'd want to be extra cautious because there's a sense I have when I look at my son and all the things that happened early on that may have been contributing to his health challenges. I actually do think the sonogram was an area of concern for me because he kept moving. And the sonogram for him, they had to do it many times. It lasted for a long, long time. And I think exposure excessively to sound through the sonogram may be a part of his puzzle. So I can appreciate that if people are just wanting to make sure, hey, does this impact anything? It's a great, fair question, but in reality, right now, it would have no more impact than music that you're listening to.
A
And so we are saying acoustical sound. So the sonogram is not acoustic, and neither is an ultrasound. Those are high, high, high sounds. But when you get it in the range of acoustical, those are the sounds that we know there hasn't been any problem with those sounds.
B
Perfect. Well, I appreciate that distinction, and again, that makes me even more comfortable. But, yeah, my son's test driving it now, and I'M excited to see what he experiences, and I think he was a little bit reluctant. He didn't necessarily want to wear something, especially at night. But I think it's easy to wear. It's a large watch, but it's not intrusive in any way. And if somebody. I was just talking with a parent today who actually puts the watch on her daughter's ankle because her daughter doesn't want it on their wrist. So my guess is that may not be ideal, but still effective. Correct?
A
Right. And if you needed to, you could even set it on a table or a counter and let the sound be heard, you know, if you needed to, because that is a different way completely to absorb it. But that's all right, too. But some people do use that for their animals, you know, so they'll put it on a counter. You know, they don't want to put it on their animal necessarily, and they'll just set it on the counter, and the animal will come up and. And usually they're playing it for anxiety, something for emotions, and the animal just set up, come up and just relax. And it works either way that they do it. So, yes, it can be used in various modes.
B
Super. All right. Well, this definitely clarified things for me. Is there anything that we haven't covered that you think would be useful for parents who are hearing this, wanting to dive in? Anything else that you think would be useful for them to understand?
A
I think a lot of students are actually fascinated by sound and fascinated by the watch. Now, you're kind of saying that some, you know, people may not want to wear it, but sometimes after they, you know, put it on for a while, they realize it's really lightweight. They don't even know it's on, and then they want to wear it 24 hours a day. So that's kind of interesting.
B
So great. Well, I'm personally just very excited about this topic. My son, he's 18 now, finishing high school, and I know he wants to go into a career using sound from a healing perspective. He's got perfect pitch. There's something about frequencies and healing that I think is in his career path. And I think something like the wave watch is perfectly tuned into, I think, what his body would respond to because he was such a powerful responder for homeopathy. But I really appreciate you painting a clearer picture of this opportunity. What this looks like, we'll include in the show notes where you would go to try it for yourself. And I guess, is there anything else you'd like to share in terms of where people can find out more about you and the company.
A
It's just wavewatch.com and you'll have a code so that it can be used.
B
And in the show notes there'll be a link and make it advantageous for you to give this a try to experience it for yourself. And really just like anything else, until you experience it, it's hard to really be able to gauge will it be a fit or not. I know I take a while to respond to things so I think the opportunity is to give it a try, try it on yourself. But otherwise I really appreciate you sharing the success stories and what you're seeing and it's just such a super exciting avenue to promote wellness in a non invasive way with no downside. So really appreciate the time and attention you've given to this topic in bringing something like this for other people to take advantage of. So thank you so much Linda and.

In this episode, Len Arcuri interviews Linda Bamber Olson, the founder and CEO of Wavewatch, about the transformative potential of sound frequency as a non-invasive healing modality. The discussion centers on the science, application, and lived experiences of using sound frequencies — particularly through Linda’s wearable Wavewatch device — to support healing in both children and adults, including those with autism and complex neurological or emotional challenges.
Olson’s personal journey as someone born deaf in one ear fueled her passion for making sound-based healing accessible, even for those who cannot hear. The conversation covers the ancient roots of sound as a healing tool, the modern science behind frequency medicine, practical guidance for parents, and anecdotal stories of significant improvement in a variety of conditions.
“Sound is something that can be harnessed without having to hear it. And that was very important to me because I would miss out. So I wanted something that everybody could use.” (Linda, 00:00-00:24)
“Sound is the first sense that we have in the womb… it’s the last thing that we have, usually, before we pass away… What have we missed that has been used for thousands of years, and it basically was sound… those frequencies were actually labeled illegal.” (Linda, 03:16-06:20)
“Your skin and bones absorb frequencies... you don’t have to hear everything.” (Linda, 00:00-00:24)
“When those receptors start to vibrate or feel... a frequency, they will vibrate... it makes the cell vibrate, touches the next cell… and it zips through your body at the speed of sound or even faster.” (Linda, 09:21-12:01)
“We have the ability to change, kill, parasites, viruses, bacteria, all kinds of pathogens with a sound frequency… that came from Tesla.” (Linda, 14:50-16:00)
“Homeopathy... is a frequency in a bottle.” (Linda, 16:00)
“We have plants for physical well-being... but there are [remedies] for emotional well-being. …The Wavewatch fits right in there.” (Linda, 17:44-18:32)
“I wanted the smallest and the easiest thing... so that everyone could access it. …Every member of the family could use it.” (Linda, 09:21-10:21, 19:20-20:40)
"Their testing is showing that our nerves are actually not electrical. They're sound pulses." (Linda, 26:02-27:51)
