This is Scott Becker with the Becker's Healthcare podcast. These are seven stories that we're following this week as we kick off the Becker's healthcare annual meeting. First, CMS puts forward a 2.4% hospital pay bump and also pushes for a mandatory joint replacement model. We'll see how this goes along. It seems like CMS is constantly bumping up Medicare Advantage and not doing enough for hospitals and health systems. Second, CMS proposes a bundled model for joint replacements, a mandatory bundled model. We'll again see what that looks like in detail over the next couple next few months. Third, Event Health ranks ground on a $27 million freestanding ER type of unit. Again, fantastic work and great growth from Advent Health. Fourth, North Bay Health signs a final agreement to take over a Providence hospital in their area. Fantastic work there. Fifth, we're thrilled to kick off the Becker's Hospital annual meeting today as well as the Chief Pharmacy Officer Summit, the Oncology Summit, the Behavioral Health Summit and a number of other meetings that we've got co located to Hyatt Regency this year. Thrilled to see the Hyatt Regency updated and looking a lot cleaner and a lot brighter and very positive. Sixth, Hospital at home enters an expansion cycle. Naomi Diaz reports on that today at Beckers Healthcare. And finally, seventh, a Texas hospital dismisses their CEO. Again, a sign of the times is there's a good deal of turnover in senior leadership at hospitals and health systems. Thank you for listening again to the Becker's Healthcare podcast. Thank you very, very much.
