We get honest about the 50-50 nature of being human and why chasing constant happiness backfires. From there, we flip the script with “the choice to rejoice,” a practical gratitude practice that goes beyond listing what’s good. We explore research on thank you letters, why recipients feel more warmth than we expect, and how consistent gratitude practice can support mental health over time. Your growth work is simple and powerful: write a thank you letter to your future self, plus journal prompts to identify what you’ve been complaining about and where compassion would change everything.
