In this episode, Katie showcases that just like it's impossible to capture the beauty of nature in a paragraph, it is just as impossible to see other humans as the likeness of God, made in His image, without abiding in Him and harnessing our tongue as we watch carefully the words we say. She points us to the Book of James, in a section of chapter 3 called "Taming the Tongue." Did you know James warns us about the tongue that both praises God and curses His created beings? The Christmas season can be tough for Christian women who are healing from the trauma of divorce, but this message helps to remind us all that God has a plan and purpose for us. What motivates Katie the most in watching her words and being mindful of the preciousness of God's creation is her own children's experience. She wants to be sure she teaches them by example Godly behavior in this post-divorce healing process.
