I thought it might be fun to look at one of the ways I use AI in my creation process.A while back I told you about the book I wrote, Don’t Play With Things That Go Boom.After spending a couple of years writing the book, I set myself the task of designing the cover for this very personal project.Not being an artist, it took me several days working with Photoshop and Creative Cloud tools to come up a cover. After several revisions I was pleased with the result.I published the book in the Amazon store, and then I set about my next task — trying to sell it.I turned to my AI, ChatGPT, and gave it a copy of the manuscript and the cover and asked if it could give me some tips on how to market the book.One of the very first things ChatGPT told me surprised me.It said my cover wasn’t “clickable.”In other words, when someone is scrolling through dozens of tiny book covers on Amazon, mine simply didn’t stand out enough to make people want to click on it.
