Tyler Coppin is an American-Australian actor, playwright and American dialect coach. Migrating to Australia aged 19, Tyler graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art and lives in Melbourne. His stage appearances include The Child Catcher in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’, Robert Helpmann in Tyler’s one-man play ‘Lyrebird: Tales of Helpmann’, Puck in Opera Australia’s production of Benjamin Britten's ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’ directed by Baz Luhrmann and as Vice Principal Panch in ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’, for which he won a Helpmann Award. Television and film roles include ‘Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King’, ‘Neighbours’, Hacksaw Ridge and ‘Mad Max 2’. Tyler is one of Australia’s earliest and most respected American accent coaches, beginning during the 80’s wave of Australian actors to Hollywood and continuing to work with clients like Joel Edgerton, Magda Szubanski and Ben Mendelsohn. Ronald Farren-Price is a renowned pianist, pedagogue and mentor. Ronald, who turns ninety-three on July 2, 2023, has led a rich life embracing classical music. Growing up in Brisbane, he made his concert debut aged thirteen with the Brisbane Symphony Orchestra. Ronald was encouraged to move to Melbourne to study with Lindsay Biggins. In 1949 the Chilean virtuoso Claudio Arrau offered the young Ronald a scholarship and so began an international career as a highly regarded piano recitalist. Ronald has performed to enthralled audiences in Australia, America, Asia and across Europe. He was the first Australian musician invited to perform in the former Soviet Union. From 1986 to 1990 Ron was Dean of Music at the University of Melbourne. Ronald continues to teach today, inspiring students with his passion and knowledge. Author Sofie Laguna has been thrilling readers of all ages since she put a law degree on hold and said no to another six year old’s fairy party. From the picture book 'My Yellow Blanky' and children’s book 'Bill’s Best Day' in 2002 to award winning novels for adults … 'One Foot Wrong' (2008), 'The Eye of the Sheep' (2014), 'The Choke' (2017) and 2020’s 'Infinite Splendours'. Sofie studied law at the University of New South Wales, before moving to Melbourne to train as an actor. She worked for a number of years as an actor at the same time as completing a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing at the RMIT. Sofie is now an author writing for both adults and children.
