Tyler Coppin is an American-Australian actor, playwright and American dialect coach. Migrating to Australia aged 19, Tyler graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art and lives in Melbourne.

His stage appearances include The Child Catcher in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’, Robert Helpmann in Tyler’s one-man play ‘Lyrebird: Tales of Helpmann’, Puck in Opera Australia’s production of Benjamin Britten's ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’ directed by Baz Luhrmann and as Vice Principal Panch in ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’, for which he won a Helpmann Award.

Television and film roles include ‘Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King’, ‘Neighbours’, Hacksaw Ridge and ‘Mad Max 2’.

Tyler is one of Australia’s earliest and most respected American accent coaches, beginning during the 80’s wave of Australian actors to Hollywood and continuing to work with clients like Joel Edgerton, Magda Szubanski and Ben Mendelsohn.
