I recently had the pleasure of joining Stephanie on her Changing Life and Destiny podcast to explore one of the most exciting and challenging topics in health today, the role of artificial intelligence, or AI, in transforming healthcare and skin care. In our conversation, we dove into how AI is being used to diagnose conditions and develop smarter skincare strategies. But here's the reality. AI isn't a magic bullet. I shared how I believe human expertise is still vital for crafting truly effective health and beauty solutions. And how we at Yungoos use AI to empower practitioners and individuals with personalized strategies that actually work. We also discussed the concept of prejuvenation, a proactive approach to accelerating recovery and rejuvenating skin. And I shared real world success stories that highlight the synergy between cutting edge innovation and practitioner insight. This was such a fun and insightful discussion and I can't wait for you all to listen to it. So tune in and join the conversation. Your skin and your future self will thank you.
B
When we are worried about, you know, AI, which is, you know, a lot of what I deal with currently outside of Yangus is AI and AI ethics, actually, most of my interviews now are about that, but we're worried about AI replacing or the, the ramification of AI replacing medical authority, for example, radiologists.
C
Okay.
B
And that's, you know, in a utopian vision of that, that is a type of panacea. I can go, I can get a scan that does not require a human, and that scan will tell me if I'm good or not. Right. It's going to tell me what to do as well. Doctor is not needed. And the doctor can go home, he can practice, you know, painting or karate, I don't know. Okay. But he won't have a. Or she won't have a job anymore. The problem is, is that even in that case, all the radio radiologists listening, there would have to be some level of scrutiny. Human scrutiny.
C
Correct.
B
And that is where very effective solutions like Young Goose require professionals for that scrutiny. So a client, a patient, would not need to listen to 12 different 45 minute podcasts to understand what their, you know, health routine should be.
C
Right.
B
They could go to their doctor plop, a few hundreds of dollars on the table, and the doctor will give them a list of what they need and how they need to consume it.
C
Right.
B
That is where. That's, that's why companies like us exist and succeed. It's because a relationship between creating the best product possible, which is never simple, it's never a one liner.
C
Right.
B
And a medical professional Saying, hey, I have exhausted, I've done the research, I've walked, you know, a hundred miles in the shoes of research or whatever. And this is my conclusion. So that is how Yungoos basically helps professionals. We obviously have protocols. We have a lot of experience. We, we are in around 500 centers around the world.
C
So amazing.
B
We know what people asked, right. Questions. We have a database of FAQs, you know, thousands of FAQs. We actually do have an AI trained on those FAQs that you could access as a professional.
C
Isn't that an appropriate use of AI when you have the frequently asked questions and you have the answers that make sense to those questions? It does seem appropriate that that's when AI can help. So I understand that that's amazing. Okay, so let me ask a little bit about product usage and maybe some stories, sharing some compelling stories or some, something that, that helps our listeners understand because you are talking, you talked about it a little bit earlier. But what are some case studies that help us understand how this works?
B
Okay, I'll give you two case studies. One is for a very old person. We had a 94 year old lady from somewhere near, near Naples, Florida. Okay, forget the name the place. Bonita was something.
C
Oh, Bonita Springs, maybe.
B
Bonita Spring. So she had, you know, I, I, I'm really weary of getting into like medical to, to call what she had by name.
C
Sure.
B
As far as like.
C
Sure.
B
Skin issues. But she had skin issues.
C
Okay.
B
That she had dealt with for, for over 15 years. And obviously she also had skin aging, especially in Florida.
C
Sure.
B
Yes. She would like to take care of both. Obviously she looked for a lot of different solutions. The problem is that conventional dermatology and aesthetic dermatology actually live within the juxtaposition of signal and repair. But the older the person is, their ability to react to stimulation is significantly diminished.
C
Sure.
B
And that is where Young Goose came in. So what we did was we didn't even know this person. We didn't know that person. Right. That person reached out and said, hey, here's my story. And her story is very simple. She filled up a quiz. By now we have a more advanced version of that. But here are my issues. Obviously she didn't say I have that medical skin issue, but this is what I want to target. She got a list of products she could use. Good, better, best. For that matter, she chose best. And the before and after is like seriously mind blowing.
C
Is that on your website somewhere?
B
Actually. So I am extremely weary about posting before and afters on the website for A couple reasons.
C
Okay.
B
First of all, I don't like to empower that as far as like general practice because this is something that people abuse all the time.
C
Sure.
B
Different light can change it dramatically. So I don't like to play into that game. So doctors get it. Huge folder of before and afters from us. We have it in studies that we publish. But also if anyone asks, we obviously provide them. I just don't want to play the game.
C
Sure.
B
Of. Of that on. On the web. And by the way, apparently Meta, the company owns, who owns Facebook and Google agrees with me. And it's actually. They actually don't like when people use ads of before and after.
A
Oh wait, yeah.
B
So I'm not the only one. I'm like. And probably there's another one there. Anyway, so that's number one. Number two, which is a pretty cool story, is actually before plastic surgery. So we have a doctor that we work with, he's in the Pacific Northwest and according to him, people who have been using yang goose for two months, 60 days prior to surgery have a 20 to 25% faster recovery rate. And also he has some qualitative data from a. A product called Vizia, which is like AI powered camera showing qualitative results as well. Wow. Yeah. And we actually then trademarked the term prejuvenation, which we haven't done anything with yet. But we strongly believe that if you are going to do any kind of rejuvenation procedure, you should be using our products beforehand because they make your skin behave like younger skin or functionally younger skin.
C
That's amazing.
B
Which then obviously it can recover faster.
C
Right.
B
The third one, just because I remember Vizia, it's actually something that I normally don't say. We have a good friend, Amber Berger, she has a podcast called the well Drop Unsolicited. She's a customer. She has been a customer for a few years and she has done a Vizia scan before she started using our products. And a few months after, maybe six months after she used our products. And Vizia does have a feature of skin aging. Means you know, your skin according to pigmentation, wrinkle depth, hydration, glow, I assume some other things, you know, plumpness, dullness, things like that. She got a score which was pretty good below her age. But then after using a product for I believe six months, that score lowered by two years.
C
Wow. Wow. Six months.
B
And that is also on our Instagram, people can ask for it.
C
Okay.
B
And professionals can ask for it too. And also on her Instagram, she is very proud of it.
C
We'll make sure the show notes as well. But that's. That's fantastic. I mean, you know, six months and two years that. And. And I'm assuming. Well, I'm assuming. And that's never a good thing. But I do want to ask the question, you know, this. This does seem like it's geared mostly towards that rejuvenation process. Correct. But is it. Can it also be corrective? In a sense, yeah.
B
So this is. I mean, I think we're using rejuvenation, I think, is a big term because you can include things that are intangible. But corrective would mean mostly, you know, a goal and completing that goal, I would say, in other words. Right. So corrective basically means a physical. Okay, I'm going to explain it. I'm going to maybe define it differently.
C
Okay.
B
Rejuvenation is more upstream. Okay. If we have the stream of. If cause and effect of aging, rejuvenation is upstream. How. How do our cells behave and do they behave younger, older, there? Are they more rejuvenated, less rejuvenated.
C
Right.
B
Whereas, you know, correction, you know, Botox could be deemed corrective because I had an issue and it corrected that. The, that, that feeling of. Of, you know, my 11 lines.
C
Sure.
B
So whereas Botox only works downstream, where we cannot see that line. Obviously the line is still there. We just can't see it now. Yeah. Young goose can do both, obviously, if it doesn't give you the results of Botox, because it. No, nothing can, really.
C
Right, right.
B
But actually, we use a couple of molecules that there are studies showing that they can provide about 10 to 20% of the result of Botox.
C
Wow.
B
So, okay. Yeah.

These stories underscore the effectiveness of combining AI-driven insights with professional guidance to achieve significant skincare results.
A significant portion of the discussion differentiates between rejuvenation and correction in skincare.
Rejuvenation is described as an upstream approach that focuses on improving the fundamental health and function of skin cells, effectively making the skin behave younger at a cellular level.
Correction, on the other hand, addresses specific visible issues, such as reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, similar to how Botox works.
Notable Quote:
B (09:46): "Rejuvenation is more upstream... Correction means a physical goal, like reducing lines."
Young Goose emphasizes that while their products primarily focus on rejuvenation, they also incorporate molecules that provide about 10-20% of the results achieved by Botox, offering a holistic approach to skincare.
The episode concludes with a consensus that AI, when combined with professional expertise, can significantly enhance skincare practices. Young Goose exemplifies this by using AI to handle data-driven tasks and enabling professionals to deliver personalized, effective skincare solutions. The integration of AI not only streamlines processes but also opens new avenues for proactive and preventive skincare measures.
Final Thought:
B (10:42): "We use molecules that can provide about 10 to 20% of the result of Botox."
This balanced approach suggests that AI is not an overhype but a revolutionary tool that, when used appropriately, can transform the skincare industry by enhancing both product efficacy and user experience.
Key Takeaways:
AI Enhances, Not Replaces: AI serves as a powerful tool to augment the capabilities of skincare professionals, ensuring more personalized and effective treatments.
Prejuvenation as a Proactive Strategy: Utilizing AI-driven products before surgical procedures can significantly improve recovery rates.
Holistic Approach to Skincare: Combining rejuvenation and correction provides a comprehensive strategy for maintaining youthful and healthy skin.
