John LaSpina, known online as Carnivore Teacher Alpha, is a retired educator, nutrition researcher, and creator of the popular Carnivore Teacher platforms where he teaches people around the world about the proper human diet and metabolic health.

After spending more than three decades in the classroom teaching middle school, John turned his passion for education toward nutrition science, human biology, and the hidden chemistry of modern food.

Through his books, interviews, and videos, he helps people understand how ultra-processed foods and plant toxins can affect the body-and how returning to nutrient-dense animal foods can restore health and vitality. John lives in Florida with his husband Doug and continues to teach, write, and share what he learns with a growing global community.
