What is up daddy gang? It is your founding father, Alex Cooper with Call Her Daddy Cardi B. Welcome to Call Her Daddy.
Hi Daddy.
I have to tell you, you have been on my dream guest list since I started the show. So to be here with you. No, it's like you don't even get it. It's an honor. Thank you for being here tonight.
Thank you.
Very excited. We need to talk about your outfit. Yeah, how did you pick this tonight?
Well, I wanted like to do like a Jersey, but I wanted like to do like my style and stuff like that. And I was like, well, I mean like I was calling my man so I could show him, but he's just, he's sleep by this time. You know what I'm saying? He, he, he sleep right now. He goes to sleep right early.
So on the back of that jersey, what is the name Mr. Diggs, congrats. You look very happy. The jersey is fucking amazing.
It's so cute.
Okay, wait. So I heard you had a late night last night. Almost into the morning. You were at the studio. What were you doing?
No, I wasn't at the studio. I was actually doing a music video with Kehlani. And we finished like around 4, 5am So I got like in like a. At 5:30 and we did like freaking five wig changes. And I'm like, I don't know, how am I going to wake up early in the morning? Like, I am so tired. It was like seven different scenes. I was.
Are you a night person?
I am a night person, but I was up from 6am to all the way to 5am So I was just tired.
How do you feel about this new album coming out?
I feel really good.
You do?
I do really feel. I feel really good.
A little bit of pressure because it's been almost seven years.
It is a little bit of pressure because I feel like people. People gonna want to be mean just because they feel like. It's like, oh, well, we waited seven years for this. So some of them are just gonna talk because they just want that. And then it's like, you know what it is you guys want like these poppy wap records and is that we. I can always give you that. You know what I'm saying? You can always go with the little trap trap sound and stuff.
Do you drink?
Yeah.
Do you go out and party still?
Hell yeah.
What is an ideal night out for you and your friends?
And I deal night out with my friends. So I noticed one thing. I am not the type of person that likes to lounge and then club. I like to go straight club. And then after like some people, I didn't know that people pre game so much. They like to go to dinner, they like to smoke hookah. Then they like to go to the club. They no, honey, I'm too tired of that. I want to go to the club and then after the club I want to go to the atheist to 6:00am I can't do 8:00pm to 6:00am I can't do that.
So you're going like 1:00am I go.
Well, I'm from New York, so I usually party in New York and I. And I party in Miami a lot. So I like to be at the club by 2 2am 2:30.
Okay, wait, your name? Cardi B. Comes from Bacardi, the alcohol. Right. What is your go to drink now?
Oh, Hennessy. Yes.
And okay, wait, tell me who is the Most fun celebrity you've ever partied with.
Well, there was this one night that me and Megan, we went to. We was in her hotel room. It was my stylist. It was her hair stylist. And we was just, like, drinking and, like, talking and playing games and we had such a good time just doing that.
Sometimes those are the best nights, though, because you're like, I didn't even need to leave the room. It was the people that you're with. It's the best energy.
Yeah.
And you're going to actually be able.
Alex Cooper
To talk because when you're at a.
Cardi B
Club, it's hard to talk.
Yeah. It was like, couple of days after the VMAs, we were so. Well, I don't think she was drunk, but I was drunk as fuck.
Off of Hennessy.
No, it was actually tequila. She drinks tequila.
Wait, are you a tequila girl, though?
I'm not a tequila girl. It just makes me kind of sleepy. I need to be up. Energy on dog demon time.
Are you ever not, though? I feel like your energy is, like, electric any room you walk in.
But I could get sleepy. I'm a granny, so I get sleepy real quick. Especially if I don't like the vibe or like, the DJ is not good. Because it's all about the dj. Yeah. If the DJ is not good and not playing my records, I'm ready to go to bed. Go to bed.
Wait, have you ever fell asleep at a club?
Almost. I think me and my. Me and my boyfriend, we're very infamous with our friends. Like, like, we're very infamous at leaving.
Oh, you're like, full Irish accident.
If the music is not right, you're out. We, like, we look at each other. It's like, you want to leave? And it's like, yep. And our friends be like, y' all always leave us hanging and they think that it's like, we ready to fuck. And it's like, no, we just want to go bed.
I love you. Like, I'm a granny. I want to get the out of here.
Yeah, we were like, you would know. We want to go to bed.
Like, okay. You got your butt pierced earlier this year.
Yeah.
How the hell did you decide to do this?
I don't know.
How did you know you could do it?
I seen that before.
And so you just randomly decided.
Yes. And it was so cute.
We. Did it hurt?
No, it didn't hurt, but I'm. I'm not going to recommend it to people because I had surgery and I have surgery on my butt. You know what I'm saying, like, you know, sometimes people say that my butt is too big, but they don't understand. They already did a bus surgery to reduce my ass.
They did?
Yes. So, you know, like when people do a tummy tuck in your stomach?
Huh?
I practically did a tummy tub on my ass, like, on top, so I could remove some biopolimators. So, like, the top of my ass, like, that skin part is like, numb. Like a tummy tuck? Yeah. So when I pierced my ass, I felt shit.
You're like. You're like. Did you do it yet?
It looks you. It was. It was the easiest piercing ever. It cost me like $13,000 because it was real diamonds. And guess what? It went down the toilet.
Cardi.
It went down the toilet?
How quick? Like the first week?
No, no, it was like a month. But then I realized it's like, hold on. And it's like. Then I was looking around, I was looking at my pants and my panties and stuff, and I'm like, yep, went.
Down the toilet 13k on your. Oh, my God.
Ass crack. It's so cute. I got to. I gotta show you a picture so you can see it. It's really cute.
Okay. Yeah, you can show me a picture after. So now is it just. You're. It's out. You don't have it anymore or did you refill it?
No, no, I haven't. I haven't redone it yet. I'm just not. I just haven't been in the mood, but.
And did you know the person piercing you or did you walk into a shop one night and be like, what's up?
Yeah, I just went to Maria Tash. They pierced the time. They were so excited. They said they were going to refund me too, on the. On the. On the piercing, so.
Why? Because it fell on the toilet?
Yeah.
Oh, my God, that's so nice of them.
I know, right?

Okay, wait, we're gonna play a game.
Okay.
That's why I had you bring your phone in here tonight. So the game is called Confess or Text.
Okay.
I have been doing this with people recently. Here's what's gonna happen. Cardi.
Yes.
I'm gonna ask you a juicy question.
Oh, this is.
If you want to answer it, answer it. We go to the next question. Okay. If you don't want to answer it, then you have to text someone and you're going to text the person in one of those bowls. And then there's also telling you what you're going to text that person. What is the craziest rumor you've ever heard about yourself?
Yeah, Well, a new one now. Because some rumors are a little dark and some rumors are like, bitch, be for real. Like there's a rumor that like my boyfriend dumped me because my bbl stink. And it's just like the way this as we getting in it can be. No, but the thing about me is I'm very, very anal. Funny. I'm very anal about How I smell.
Got it.
You know what I'm saying? I don't know who made the rumors that BBL stink, but it's like it doesn't fucking stink. Well, how would a BBL stink if you. If you don't got no open wombs? Why? Because your ass is fatter. You can't clean a fat ass. You don't know how to clean a fat ass.
You do.
I do. And let me tell you something. Let me tell you something. If you get in the ass, I know how to do too. You can't even play with me.
Is that. Is that crazy when you read that online?
Yeah. It's like, because I be for real.
Do you talk about it with Stefan or.
No, no, we just be joking about it. Like, is that. I heard you left me because my BBO stink.
Okay, next. Which artist do you think is secretly insanely jealous of you?
Huh? Oh, it's plenty, honey. Jesus Christ. All these bitches. All of these bitches.
What's a kink or fantasy? You've never admitted publicly?
I think I've done them all. Ah. I would like in a threesome.
To.
Have a really pretty face girl that I really like and we both sucking dick together. But like, not just like, my turn, your turn. My turn, your turn. Like, making out, clashing on it.
And I love that you specified, like, really pretty face. What? Because you're gonna have to look at her. Are you keeping your eyes open or closed?
If I like her a lot, I mean, you know, it's really passionate when you make out with girls. Or not. Boy, you make out, period. I'm very passionate. Like, I like to make love, so I'm just not like. I was like, oh, you jerk it and suck it and jerk it and suck it. You jerk it in second. I jerk it in second. No, it's just like a clash making.
You're coming together to make something beautiful.
Yeah.
When is the last time you faked an orgasm?
It's been a minute. It's been a minute. Really?
It's good.
It's been really a long, long time.
Did you ever go through a spurt where you were faking them?
Yes, we all do.
We don't judge. Okay. Name a celebrity who you think would be amazing in bed.
Who would be good in bed. I never really thought about it.
You can go for the bowl.
No, I just. I'm just trying to. I'm just trying to. I'm trying to picture maybe one. Maybe probably like one of like these rapper, these rap girls. Like, like, it's like, I'm expecting them to be good in bed. If y. The way y' all talk.
Uhhuh. That's fair. You know, I like that.
Like, it's like, I. I hope so. I hope you could eat some.
If you're singing about it.
If you sing it, do they even sing about. Yeah, like, oh, yeah, if y' all see y' all bisexual shit, I hope you could eat some fucking pussy.
What's been the worst PR crisis you've ever been in?
It's so many. It's so many.
But, like, I feel like you handle them with grace.
With grace. I be pulling my hairs out. They be stressing me out. They want to cancel me. They want to cancel me, and it's just like, I don't mean no harm. Like, matter of fact, I'm gonna tell.
You when I think I know what you're gonna say.
The fat phobic stuff. And it's like, now. Now they saying that I hate fat people. And it's like, do you think I wake up like, oh, I hate fat people. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them. Like, because I do. What the. Are you serious? Like, no, I don't. I don't. But it was. It's my. This is why I don't like my fans. My fans riled me up, and then when I think it's funny, then I repeat what they say, and it's like, but. But my fans did it first. And then, like, the gp, the general public, be like, if your fans. But you know what? Sometimes, like, when I get, like, in trouble, I guess people be like, oh, you guys give Cardi a pass for everything. You guys get away with everything. And I don't feel that. I feel like when I make a mistake, you guys want to cancel me so bad. But the reason why I don't get canceled is because I always been like this. I'm not like this. I mean, I'm not saying that these celebrities are faking the. Nobody's faking the funk. I just feel like they're a little bit more private than me, but it's like, I. I'm just really being myself. I always be myself. Like, it's like, maybe sometimes I might be a little bit rougher with my jokes, but I'm just a rough joker. But I don't mean no harm.
That's what makes you. You.
Yes.
Okay. Bull. I knew you would answer all these fucking questions. I'm like, there's no way we're gonna even have to have her to text Anyone. I could just keep going. You're gonna.
Oh, you want me to text. Yeah, because you want me to be messy.
Okay, yeah, yeah, Messy.
A celebrity. Oh, my gosh. A celebrity. You don't know that well, but have their number Anyways. Can you help me make a clean version of this lyric? Lyric? Micro penis. I call that drowning in the. Wait, do I even have celebrities numbers? Let me see if Lizzo changed her number. Let's. With Lizzo, she's gonna be like, what the is wrong with you?
I love that you're just calling and not texting. You're not a texter.
Hey, I need your help with something right quick. Can you help me make a clean version of this lyric? Which one? It goes like this. It's a little silly, but it's like this. Micro penis. I call that drowning in the pussy.
Wait, you said Michael. Michael Penis.
Micropenis. I call that drowning in the. Yeah, if you can help me with that lyric, that would be so great. I'll call you right, right back. Thank you so much. You're such a great person. I love you.
Okay, I'm gonna think about it.
Okay. Okay. Okay, bye.
Holy buggy. She's a real one. She's like, all right, I'm gonna think on this. What you said. Micropinis. Yeah, that was good.
You know what? But Lizzo is the sweetest person.
She's. She. That was amazing.
Lizzo is the sweetest person. So that's why I was like, oh, I know somebody, dude.
You know she's going to actually text you later and be like, all right. I was thinking about, yes, she is. You're like, babe, I don't need that.
She will.
That's really.
She will.
Like, thank you, Lizzo.
She will. Oh, man, I'm crying. Oh, my God. Lizzo just text me back, shut the fuck up. Let me see what she said.
You have me really sitting up here being like, what rhymes with micro penis? She's sitting in, like, the club thinking about this.
Should we tell her the truth?
Yeah, yeah, message her back. Yeah, send her a picture. Not Lizzo literally at the club being like, micro penis.
Surprise, surprise. They told me to text a celebrity. I knew you would. Surprise. They told me to text a celebrity.
I knew you would have my back.
I know you have my back, Cardi. Yeah, she's a real one. I told you. She's really real.
That game wasn't that bad that you were good. You were fucking teams.
You see, I could have text.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. But you didn't. You fucking Called I love you for that. Okay, let's talk about before your music career took off. Let's go all the way back. You were working as a stripper. How did you get into that?
I was working in a supermarket around my school. Well, the college. I was going to bmcc and I got fired. And I was just talking, like, to one of the managers of the supermarket, and I was just like, oh, I need this job so much. You think you could talk to this, this, and that person, too, so they won't fire me? And he was like, you don't even need this job. Like, this is really bad. He was Turkish. You don't even need this job. You need. You should go across the street. They have really pretty girls. You have nice body. I know the people there. And I was like, for real? And I was just so scared. And he's like, it's nothing crazy because I. You know, like, you coming out of high school and going to college, you don't really know what a strip club is or what they do or.
What was your first day like? Were you nervous?
I was very nervous.
Okay, wait. As you got more used to it, did you come up with the signature move?
Oh, yes, but, honey, I was a. I was. I. I know how to work that pole. Well, used to low pounds, but I know how to work the pole. I was really infamous for. For my pole dancing.
What was your, like, go to move on the pole? That was like, holy fucking shit.
I used to go like this, and, like, I could lift my whole body, like, roll my whole body like from the. Just with my neck and stuff. I don't know how to. Can't really demonstrate it.
Okay. It's okay. We can all imagine.
Yeah.
Before this, did you know when you were a young girl that you wanted to get into rap?
I. Yes, I always. I always like rap. I'm not. I'm not gonna say really like rap. I always knew. I want. I wanted to get into music. Like, I used to sing, and I went to school for. For theater and music and singing.
Do you remember the first song you ever wrote?
I used to write, like, songs and stuff like that. And I used to be like, mom, look, I wrote this song and everything. You know, when you used to see the Cheetah Girls and stuff like that, you just want to be an artist when you see the Cheetah Girls, Those outfits. Yeah.
Did you want to be one of them more?
Raven was always like me, the star of the show. Star.
Would you write songs about your life or just like, Random.
No, like random love things. I. I was so. I was always, like, in love with an imaginary person. When I was like a child, a kid. I always had a crush in the air. Always had a crush on, like, nobody. Like, why do I have a love life with no love at 8 years old?
Wait, who? Do you remember who your actual, like, physical, breathing human being first crush was?
Yeah, Usher.
Okay.
Marion, but no one at school. Huh?
No one at school.
Not like as that young. No.
In an interview, you said that passions and dreams go out the window when you're just trying to survive. Understandably.
Yeah.
What ultimately, like during the rise of your career before, obviously the huge success of your first album. Like, what kept you going in moments where wasn't really going well?
Just the fact that the bill have to be paid. It doesn't matter. It don't matter if things aren't going well, the rent got to be paid. Like, the rent. Oh, you're crying.
Oh, you're sad.
Nobody, your. Your landlord is not trying to hear that you ain't made. You ain't made enough money this week that you ain't got no food to eat, that you going through it with a man. They are not trying to hear that. Where's my 11, honey? I don't give a. Oh.
Was there ever a time in music that you considered giving up?
Yes, a couple of times. Yeah. Especially in the beginning.
Do you have advice for anyone right now who is, like, feeling like maybe they need to give up on their dreams because they're just going through way too much hard shit?
It took me about two, three years to get to where I wanted to be and a whole bunch of songs. I feel like if. Don't, don't. Don't give your job up. You know what I'm saying? Don't. Don't be like, oh, I'm a nurse, but I want to be a rapper. I want to be a singer. And I'm just gonna give everything up for this because if it doesn't happen, then what? You don't have nothing but focus on your plan A. But it's like, make sure you always have a plan B. Some people don't go with plan B. I go, well, actually, I kind of don't be going with plan B.
You're gonna be Cardi B no matter what. You gotta believe that shit. Like it was one way or another you were gonna be you and famous.
But I didn't. Thought I didn't know how I was going to become famous, though.
But you knew it probably in Your soul that, like, you were going to be known for something, you just didn't know what.
Yeah. Because it's just like, everywhere I go, like, it's like I'm special or something. It's like, oh, my God. In every club, in every school, in every job. Like, it's like, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me.
You're like, guys, I'm exhausted.
Like, yeah. I would just be like, why me? Who is me? Like, what? What am I? Everybody used to be like, you're gonna make it. And it's like, on what, though? Like, I don't know. Like, I'm not the greatest singer. I'm not the greatest. I don't know how to act. And then people were like, but you're funny. It's like, I'm not good at doing comedy. Like, it's like, what? Like, who sings that song? Is it the mermaid or is it Mulan?
Oh, which one?
Like, it's like that song that is talking about, what is my purpose?
Wait. The reflection in the mirror. It's like, yeah. Oh, what is it standing there?
Yeah, that's Mulan, right? Yes, that's me. Like, what is my purpose? And my purpose is to be a rapper and spank these. That's my hair.
I found my purpose. The fact that everyone, even in, like, your hometown and your friends and your parents and everyone before all of this was like, you're gonna do something.
Yes.
You just have that aura about you.
Yeah.
Which is fudgeing amazing. Okay. You recently said, as you've been lately, also alluding to that there are some female rappers in the industry that can't stand you. Why do you think that is?
I think it's a lot of different things. I think it's because I'm so relatable. I'm so relatable. And I think they think like is like, why am I not in her position? Why her and not me? And the thing is that is that I might make it. I might be relatable. I might make it look easy, but it's really not. I put a lot of thought to it. I have a team. And even when you have a team, like, it's like, you operate it. So if you're not really like me, sometimes I would just wake up at 3am and I have an idea. And I call Patience, I call Colin, I call my managers. It's like, we gotta do this. I could come up with a song. I could come up with a certain type of a beat in my head. Not even because I Don't. I don't do beats and stuff like that. But it's like, I have an idea and I start calling all the producers that I work with, and it's just like, I make it look easy, but I spend a lot of time perfecting it, making it great. Like, even the most simplest thing that you'll be like, that is so simple to do, but it's not.
And I think, Cardi, like, I appreciate you also saying that. Where people may be jealous because you are, like, authentically yourself, I think there is a lot of people that maybe if they're talented in one capacity of music.
Yeah.
They may not be able to, like, express themselves any other way, but through music, you kind of do both. Which is your super stardom, I think, is like, people are like, you are funny. As I like following you. I like watching your food reviews and your tick tocks and your Instagrams and your lives and all this. And you make bomb music.
Yeah.
Well, you're like, wait, yeah, keep going.
But I don't, like. I don't like to waste time. Like, it's like some people do address almost everything in their music. I don't feel. I don't feel the same ways every single day. So I have to bust that nut of saying how I feel that same day. Like, that same day. If I'm mad that same day, I have to say something. This, that because five, four days from now, I might not feel that way no more. So it's like, I don't want to put us on that. I'm talking about this. But I don't give a fuck about that no more. I have to say it today.
So you don't want to, like, sit and process things. You're like, I'm going to say what I'm feeling in this exact moment.
Yeah.
Which could get you in a little bit of trouble.
It can. But it's like, I want to talk about it today. That's what I want to do. I'm mad today. People have made this whole story that I came in the industry to, like, take over somebody's career or, like, make them think. But it's like, I never thought about. I never thought that I just wanted to become famous at what I like to do. That's all things. Sometimes people just don't get along with each other. And if they don't get along with each other, it's no more. It's no more. Like, oh. But I think that they don't get along with each other because somebody from the higher UPS wanted to make and destroy and this and that. No, I was that out. This is what I was destined for. I was destined to become this. Whether no matter who signed me, no matter what, I was going to be famous and I was going to be a rapper, no matter what. Because this is what I invested my time with, invested my own money with. Like, before I got signed, I was investing my money. Is. Is. Is nothing more than just people didn't get along with each other. And that's just that. But I'm. I'm done with that. I'm so done with that. I think it's more of a fan thing.
I agree with you. I also think this concept can get out of proportion, especially with women.
Yeah.
And I think it's like, no, there is enough room for other people to, like, have success.
Yeah. But it's not. You know what? One thing I also noticed, it don't only happens in the female rap. It just is more intense in the female rap. Because I feel like female rappers, like, we are more. More direct. We're more direct than like, pop girls. You know what I'm saying? Like, we're not like fake shady. We're going to give you the whole tree of shade. Like, we're not like, oh, oh, I kind of don't like you, but whatever. Like, people are not gonna know. Like, female rappers, we're more direct with the I don't with you and you don't with me type. However, I do see a lot of fans, like, even with pop girlies, like, it's like, they really make people not like each other. And I'd be like, what? I didn't even know that. What?
Like, why do you think people do that?
Because it's. It's fun for them. It's fun for them. Like, people. Maybe there should be a documentary about fan bases because it's like, some people will really hate somebody else. And like, some people will make pages dragging people all day long. And like, the real celebrities don't even. Don't even have.
They're literally finding out news. And like, oh, really? I didn't know that about myself. How fascinating. And it's like, where the fuck do these people get this shit from? But I agree. I think they have fun with it.
Yeah.
And then to be a part of something that feels fun.
Yeah.
You end up winning a Grammy for your debut album. What do you remember at that point? How success felt?
It's like, really funny when people say, like, be careful what you wish for because you just might get it. And When I ask God for things, I don't know, maybe I'm really anointed or something. Maybe I. I don't know. I can't. I can't explain it. But it's like when I ask God for things, he really gives it to me. But it's like. Like there's bad that comes with the things you wish for. So you really got to be careful what you wish for. Like, is that I always wish for this lifestyle. I didn't know that this life and money and success will bring so much hatred, so much pain, so much mental health issues. Like, it's like I feel like I be having mental health issues because of this life. But it's just. It is what it is. It's a lot. Foreign.

Okay, we're going to play another game. Yeah, we. But I think we need something. I've never tried it. Should I prepare for something?
Well, do it slowly because you think it's. You think it's whipped cream, but it tastes like alcohol. So if you take a lot, it's like. It's almost like taking a shot.
Stop.
It's like taking a shot.
Okay, well, now I have to fucking do it because now I pulled it out. Okay.
Okay, you gotta shake it. Okay, then shake it down.
Guys, we are trying Cardi's whip shots.
Yeah, you gotta put it this way.
No.
Yeah. Okay, that. No, that's too much. That's too much. It's alcohol. Are you a swallower? Show me you're a swallower.
Okay, we're done.
Oh, you a quick swallower. Wait a minute. What are your. What are your fit. What are your little fantasies? How about that? What are your.
Well, Cardi, although this feels professional, I did become known for The Glock Luck 9000.
Oh, you know.
Episode three. Back in the day, Cardi, I was teaching girls how to suck dick left and right.
But you know what?
What?
That is very important. It is.
Thank you.
Sucking dick is so important.
Yes.
Do you know there's like categories of like. Oh, like some men. No, you don't understand. I have gone in a rabbit hole. I didn't know how special are eaters to these men?
What? Hold on, rewind. You didn't know?
No, I know, but listen, these men have these girls on their phone. Everybody has a. A eater. And I didn't know that. And then like, you be like, are you so. And then you ask them, so, if this girl suck your dick so good, why don't you marry them? And it's like. And they'd be like, I Don't want to marry them. I don't really like them. I don't even know their birthday. I don't care about their last name. I just know that they're my favorite eater. So when they suck my dick, they're the best at sucking my dick, and that's that.
Have you ever been someone's eater?
No. Well, I don't know.
So true. You wouldn't know, I guess.
Well. Well, the thing about it is sometimes people say that, like, their favorite eater is somebody that they just don't care. They just eat dick. And you know what? Sometimes they don't even them, they just dare to suck dick, but they never forget about their favorite eater. Like, the. The eater is always in the back of their mind. Even if you probably them and sucking their dick, it's like, yeah, she's sucking my dick too good. But they're thinking about their eater. Can you believe that? That's how important it is. It is to know how to suck dick.
Cardi.
This is like kind of turning every man.
No, no, this is turning into an educational podcast right now because these men.
Have these things these girls call eaters, and they're very important to their life, but not really.
So you technically want to get to a point where you are wifey material with a background in eating.
Well, yes.
Well, yes, everyone. And that is the TED Talk for today. No, trust me, I know how serious this is.
And you will think, well, if he sees her so much, he probably got feelings for her. He probably loves her. Because why you keep going back to the same. Do you know they don't even care if they're missing a leg? All they care about is their head.
They just want their dick sucked by that person. And then what? They're just like, get out.
Oh, they'll be like, well, have a good day, you.
Thank you, Mary.
Uber. Yes. It really be like that. Like, how you doing? Hey, how you doing?
Could they ever get to girlfriend status?
I mean, I feel like if the way a man talks to you or like if a man don't really want to you and it's just like, it's just ahead.
Like, it's like, yeah, if he's not like paying for a meal ever. Or going out in public with you ever.
Yeah.
Or rarely ever calling you.
Some girls just really want to eat. Can you believe that? They just want to eat. They just know they were born to eat. To eat. I swear to God. It's a weird science. I don't understand it because I never knew. But it's the truth.
This is fascinating.
Yeah.
Let's hear from all the eaters. Reach out to us and let us know how.
Let us know.
Let us know. That's fascinating.
Yeah. I want to do some research on it.
Okay. We're gonna play a game. Ready? We're gonna call it Whop or Flop.
Whopper Flop.
I'm gonna give you a scenario, and if it's a turn on, you say wap. If it's a turn off, you say flop. Ready?
Yeah.
He only wants to to your songs.
I don't. It's kind of like a flop. I don't really wanna to my songs.
If you had to to one of your songs, what would it be?
It's. The song is on the album. It's called My Back.
Seems appropriate.
Yeah.
Okay. He is obsessed with sucking toes.
A Whopper flop.
Okay.
Explain why I like where my man love my toes.
Huh?
And I like when my. My. My, you know. Oh, stuff my significant other, like, wanna, like, you know, play with my feet and stuff like that. But it's like, if it's a guy that is like, I want to suck.
Your toes all day.
I wanna. It's like, oh, my gosh, how many toes you suck? Yeah, yeah, yeah, you got a toe thing. But you know what? I love my man feet. I'm not like, I don't know freaky, but I just love massaging and rubbing.
But you're not going to be sucking it to, like, a degree where you're getting turned on.
Yeah, no.
He has a super high sex drive and wants to every day, multiple times a day.
That's weird to me. That. That would be a little weird. Like, it's like, all right. Like, damn you. Are you into. What's that stuff called when you went to animals? Animalism. Like that, I guess I. Down. Yeah. Like I said, you want to fudge all the. There is, like. There is like, sprouts, though.
Like, right. Like you go through. You're saying moments.
Yeah, like, there is moments that is like. That is like you want to fudge two, three times a day.
But, like, not every fudgeing.
Every fudgeing day. Like, if I have a guy like, that is like, baby, you need a job.
You need a job. And it's like, what happens if I can't today?
Yes. What happened if I can't today? Like. Cause I. What happened When I'm away, he's calling his eater.
It's so scary.
It's scary. Yes.
Okay. He loves rim jobs.
The hell is rim jobs?
You know?
No, I don't know. It was a rim job.
He's taking a shit. Yeah, and while he's taking a shit, you're sucking his dick.
What? No, I never. Ew. My God, I would throw up. I will literally throw up. Ew.
I need someone to write in that's ever given a rim job.
Have you done a rim job? No. So why. Who can. So who. As a matter of fact, who came up with this question?
Wait a rip. What is the one where you're. Oh, a blumpkin. I'm thinking about a blumpkin. You know what a blumpkin is? That's a blump.
Is a blumpkin.
No, sorry. A blumpkin is the one where they're on the toilet and you're. No, you're being an eater.
No, nothing on toilets.
Okay. What about a rim job is licking the booty hole?
Licking the booty hole. I mean, I mean, some people are. I don't know. I wouldn't really mind it. You, the guy gotta, like, be into that or something, because. Yeah, yeah, you wouldn't want to go down there, a punch in your head. I'm saying, you think you're doing, like.
A really kind gesture, and he's like. He literally knocks. He always shoves you through the drywall.
A guy gotta really be into that. You know what I'm saying? Like, a guy gotta be into that.
You gotta kind of proceed with caution.
Yeah, proceed with caution.
I guess maybe like a light little finger at first. Like, near there.
No, no, guys, don't do that.
You wouldn't even, like, tickle down that area.
You know what? I'm gonna just stay. I'm gonna just stay in the balls.
Okay.
Stay in the ball.
We're staying up north.
We're staying up north. We're not going down south. We stayed up north.
Okay, perfect. He screams your full legal birth name when he comes, I'll be like you.
Trying to cast a spell on me. Mine. My name is Belcalis Marlennis Almansar.
Oh, my God. Do that while you're coming. No, add the middle one into it. The middle name, then last name.
Oh, God, that's a lot. Merlenni. Merlenni. I'll mess our mother. Oh, my God.
Casting a spell sounds most like it.
Yes.
Okay. He wants to watch porn while you. But it's furry porn.
Furry? What does that mean?
It's like when people dress up in animal big furry costumes.
What? No, but I, I, I was. I wouldn't. I wonder what it will be like if like, the porn is playing on TV and we just start. I never did that. I like lesbian porn.
I think every girl does, right?
Yeah.
Because it's not scary.
It's not scary. Dicks are intimidating.
Especially important. You kidding me? Oh, my God.
Dick is very intimidating. I don't think guys understand how intimidating it's scary. Dick is. Yes.
Especially when you're, like, meeting a new guy. You're kind of like, what's in there?
Yeah.
Go light. Just the tip at first.
Yes. It's just scary.
Dude, that's so real. Okay. He wants you to. A friend while he watches.
A friend? Like a girl? A girlfriend?
Like a guy guy?
No, that's weird. That's really weird.
Have you ever had a guy ask you to do that?
No. I wouldn't want that neither. Because I feel like you're disrespecting me.
I wouldn't like that either.
I don't like that.
But you'd be okay if it was a girl? Maybe.
I feel like. If you ask me, I don't. I think I should have just. If your girlfriend is bisexual, like, if she's into girls, like, I'm into girls. And if naturally flows, then it's cool. But if you like mad thirsty, like, it's like, yeah, I won this so bad. I want this so bad. I'm like, you're freaking. You're weird.
Alex Cooper
It's so true.
Cardi B
It's, like, all about how men approach it. Like, when they're like, yeah.
And it will make you feel, like, insecure about yourself, I guess. Like, it's like, damn, I'm not good enough for you or something.
Okay, wait. Ending the game. I forgot to ask you because. About Wap. Talk to me about. How did you feel recording the clean version of that song?
I hated it. It's so stupid.
What are the words again? What's the clean version?
I forgot, but it's like, that's that wet. Wet. I just hate it.
Wet wedge. Oh, gushy.
Oh, I hate. I hate that word.
Gushy.
Don't even say that. It's just like. There's certain words that I really just don't like.
So who comes up with gushy?
I have no choice but to say, yeah. Oh, can you please.
Torture.
That's such an ugly word. Isn't it good?
It's definitely an odd one. Okay, aside from that, what was the weirdest, like, hardest clean lyric you had to record?
Gushy.
That was it.
It's just really awkward and stupid.
Do you just go into a studio. Studio and quickly record it.
Sometimes, yes, because it's just like, oh, what are the, what are the words that will like rhyme and will make sense? And it's just, I just hate it.
You at one point said in an interview that you wish people would say, stop commenting on your body. What has your experience been like, with objectification throughout your career?
It's, it's, it's a lot really. Because. All right, like even with like the whole fat phobic thing or something like that, like a lot of people was like, girl, you talk about being fat and everything, but you go and get lipo every single time you start gaining weight and it's like, actually I do lipo so I could look thicker because I'm, I'm naturally skinny. So like it's really hard for me to gain weight. And it's, it's actually very easy for me to lose weight because if I'm sad, I lose weight. And if I'm overly working, even though I might be happy, I just like, I'll be like, I want to go. I can't, I don't have time to eat. So I lose weight very easy. So when I did do lipo so I could be thicker in the butt. Thicker in the, in the, the ass. The misconception that people have of me is just like, that I'm always in the table and like I just give birth. I automatically go and like get surgery. I take my time cuz I don't want to die. No, seriously, like you have to wait six, seven months before you get any type of surgery. When after you have birth cuz you lose so much blood. Like you lose so much blood, your, your body's still contracting, your, your organs are still contracting, your breasts are getting smaller.
Do you feel like people hold it against you that you have been open about your surgeries?
Yes. And it, and it really sucks. So like I just feel like when the Kardashians. When the Kardashians. I used to feel like people used to put so much pressure on them so they could say like they did surgery and they would not say a word. And it's like, what is the. And then it's like, well, you know what, I'mma just be more honest about it. And you know, they never lied about it. They just like felt like, I, I don't have to tell you my business. So when you do tell them your business, it's like, it's bad too.
It's like you kind of can't win. It's like you're open about it, then they used it against you if you don't. They say they have the right to know. Cu setting these unrealistic standards, it's kind of like, what do people want? And I think what people preach they want is honesty and openness, but it's.
Bad when you do it, too. So it's like, you. You can't. You can't even. You can never. You can never win.
How has all of this affected how you do feel about yourself?
Sometimes, like. Like a couple of times, like, I start feeling like. Like, it's like, damn, is my body really messed up or something? But it's like, I look at myself in the mirror and it's like, I really wouldn't change a thing. Maybe I would like my butt to be smaller. But it's like I said, it's really hard for my butt to be smaller. I already did. I already did a reduction already. And it's like, people be like, well, you need a. You need to reduce your butt more. And it's like, I think you guys think that people just. Just plug something inside my and just suck it out. For me to reduce my butt, I have to literally sit on the table, get cut from the bottom, get cut from the top, and be embarrassed for, like, three months. So it's like, I'm not gonna put myself in that position again because you don't like my body. I'm comfortable. I learned to live with it. I don't get no complaints for nobody. And it is what it is. Like, it's just like, you can't let people turn you crazy. You know what I'm saying?
Yeah, it's so. It's crazy to, like, see how much people comment about your body. And then it as. I appreciate you being honest of, like, wait, guys. I actually am, okay? So just, like, lay off. I've been open about what I've done. Yeah, you all will shame me for it. I'm telling you. I don't want to change anything right now, so leave me alone.
Yes. Yes. And. And another, like, misconception that I have about me when it comes to surgery is that people be like, you get surgery because you're insecure about yourself. I'm not insecure about myself, and I'm not insecure about myself. And then somebody, if some people be like, oh, she'd be doing surgery because this guy always be cheating on her and stuff like that. And it's like, no. When a man fall in love with me, they fall in love with. For me, for my. For my personality and because I'M a really pretty girl. If a man is going to cheat on you, they're just gonna cheat on you, because that's just men. A man would cheat on you with the ugliest, brokest, probably finest, or probably the ugliest. It really depends on the night. It really depends who's available and who's around. Okay, so it's not like. It's like, oh, he cheated on her because this is bad. The girls that I've been seeing, I'll be like, I'm. I'm surprised. I'm not in your caliber if you like this. And I always been very. I never been insecure. I went, I, I, I used to make money off dancing naked. Like, I'm, I was making money because of my looks, not because of my brain, not because of my mouth, not because of my anything, because of my looks. I was making thousands of dollars because of my looks, before surgery, before I got my teeth done, before I got my nose done, before I got my ass done. So I never really been insecure. I just really like. I just like a certain type of bodies. And it's like, if I have the money and if I could, I'm gonna change if I want to. Like, it's almost like a wig. You change your wig every other day. Does that mean you're insecure about your hair or how you look? No, I'm not neither. I just like to. I just like what I like. I never really liked my nose too much and I fixed it and it's done. It's done with. Didn't like my, My teeth that much, and I went, and I'm fixing and I'm done now. And you know, like, when I'm probably when I'm in my 50s and stuff, if I gotta do a bit little, little pull and tuck, then the I will like. It's like that.

I do want to talk to you about. You've obviously had a lot of public ups and downs just throughout your public career with past relationships. How do you handle people having such an opinion on your dating life?
I don't know. I really, I really don't know because I really don't know. I'm just, I'm just at the point like that is like do what, do what you want to do. You know what I'm saying? Like do what you want to do and do what makes you do what makes you happy. Like even, like, like even like in the, the, the long marriage that I was in, like it's a lot of things that I regret and there's a lot of things that people going to be like, you see, you wasted your time. But I don't feel like it was a waste of time. I, I, I actually, I actually see what comes with being a wife, being a mom. So I experienced that. It's like I have to experience pain, I have to experience good times. I have to experience what it was like to be a fam, to have a family and to be a, a wife. So I, I, I don't, and on top of that, like I said, I don't have a bad reputation. Like, if you decide to call me a, or whatever, the, it's because you want to. It's not because you have a fact. Because I, I wasn't that.
So I feel like again, being in a public position, there will be rumors out there.
Yeah.
And have you ever had something where, like, there was a rumor about someone cheating on you and then you eventually found out somehow it was real? Where you're like, at first you're like, no, that has to be a rumor. And then eventually one day you find out it's true. And like, how do you handle those moments? Has it ever happened?
Yeah, that, that happened. That, that definitely happened. And it happened too late. Because it's like, it happened too late. Like, is that I will find out a little bit more late than the others. Sometimes I feel like, damn, was that the only one that didn't know? But it's like.
How do you handle that though, Cardi? Because I think that's like a really relatable feeling of a woman being like, like, did everyone around me know? But when you're in a relationship, sometimes you can get blinded by, like, you love someone. Like, how do, how do you, how did you deal? Whenever in your life you experience something like that, those feelings of like, I whoop they ass. Okay.
I hope they ask. And it's like, it's, it's really your choice if you want to stay or go. To be honest with you. Like, it's like, I'm not going to put the blame on nobody for staying or, or leaving.
Like, have you ever felt shame in the past of ever, like staying with something that people maybe around you were like, you shouldn't be in something like that. Like, how do you deal with that if people are judging you for staying in something?
Sometimes it's like a mixed feelings because again, I really just, I really just don't regret anything. You know what I'm saying? Like, it is, it is what it is. Like, if my, if your heart is not ready. It's just. It's not ready. It's not ready.
Do you have any advice for women of, like, how to know when to leave or how to get the strength?
I don't even know if it was, like, a strength or something. I just feel like. Like it was like my body was, like, really rejecting it. It's like, you know, like that picture that is like a girl throwing up, and she's throwing up hearts. Like, I feel like I was getting, like, really, like, sick. And it's like, all right, this is. This is dead. Because. Because I had separation moments that people wouldn't even know that I'm separated. There has been moments that is like, I wouldn't see a motherfucker for two, three months. We're not in the same house. We're not. We're not talking. But nobody really knows, though. Nobody's gonna ever know your complete business. But you could do that. But if you're not ready to leave, you're just not ready to leave. Especially when you don't talk to other guys or you don't really be outside like that, or you're not in the. You're not out there like that. And for some reason. For some reason, this is so weird. Men actually respect marriages.
What do you mean by that?
Women don't really respect marriages.
You're saying outside of the marriage, like, a man wouldn't come to you?
Yes.
Because he's like, oh, you've got your thing.
Yes. Like, it's like when I used to meet guys, any type of famous guys and stuff like that. They'll be like, how you doing? How you doing, Cardi B? Like this and that. My DMs were extremely dry. Nobody would approach me. But these women, they will throw themselves at a married man like, it's nothing. It's like, oh, well, whatever. And it's. And it's not because it was me. Like, because I don't, you know, I'm Cardi B. At the end of the day, when I announced that I was single. Oh, boy. Boy, boy, boy. Like your DMs, the DMs, the. The. The. The every type of way. Like, every type of way they was trying to reach. But when they know that you're, like, in a marriage and, like, you have a family, they won't approach you. They won't. So it was just like. Like my world was there.
It's such a good point, too, Cardi, because, like, I think a lot about what you just said of, like, your body rejecting it. And I Think we need to have more grace for ourselves as women. Because I agree with you. Like, there is just this weird.
Sorry.
Alex Cooper
No, you're fine.
Cardi B
There is just like, this weird double standard thing that's, like. It feels like men are always available, and so when you are a woman, you can feel really, really isolated.
Yeah.
And now here we are. And look at the goddamn jersey that you're wearing. Okay, so you're in a relationship. How did you meet this man? Did he slide in your DMs?
It wasn't. It wasn't a. It wasn't a DM thing. I could. I could feel the vibe that he. That he liked me, but he never, like, approached me. But I always heard, like. Like, he was. Like, he was into me, but I. He never approached me. He was very respectful and stuff like that.
Okay, so what did you do?
So it was just this one time that I was like, you have to move on. Like, you have to move on. And it's like, no matter how much times you go to the club and think that this is gonna distract you, you know what you have to do to move on. In order to move on, you have to be, you know, like, getting attention from somebody. If you're so. If you're so used to getting attention from one person, you have to, like, get attention from somebody. Because at the end of day, you could party, you could club, you could work, you could job, you could get your hair done. At the end of the day, you kind of want somebody to talk to. You need somebody to talk to. So I asked somebody. Like, it's like, hey, hey. It feels illegal. And we just talked. We got to know each other. We was getting to know each other for, like. Like a little bit. Okay, not too. Not too much. We wasn't doing too much, though.
Okay, not too much. You were keeping it, like, just, like, slow, Slow. And how did you feel in the beginning? Were you nervous to talk to, like, a new person?
Yes. You could tell I was very nervous.
And what was it about him that made you slowly keep coming back?
Because sometimes that we would talk, and then sometimes we go, like, weeks or, like.
Like.
Like a month without talking. And for some reason, like, it's. It's almost like. It's almost like he always hit me up, like, at the right time. He almost hit me up, like, at the times that I feel uneasy, I'd be like, I don't know if I should deal with this person, because I know this person. He's. He's a little hot, but I'm Gonna talk. And then we had really good conversations and it got to the point that it was like, damn, we, we. We talk for hours and six hours and seven hours. And it's like there was days that it's like, oh, even when we wasn't talking, I was like, I need to talk to this person because I'm talking to this person every day.
So that is the best though, when you get to that point where you're like giddy and like love having them in your life in every capacity. You're like, okay, now I know. I really with you and I really, really like you.
Yes.
Okay. Wait, are you entering your wag era? Are you going to be at the fucking games?
Yeah. Yeah, I'm excited for that.
That's so exciting. Do you think you'll go on the field?
I don't know.
Cardi. This is like fun. This is fun.
I know. I don't. I just like, I'm just like learning different things every day. Like, because like, people probably think that I just got these things planned out and I'm just like. I'm just like as a little girl, like not little girl, but it's like. I was like, you're excited? Yeah, I'm excited.
It's like the beginning stages of something really fun.
Yes.
And. And it's exciting to be moving forward and seeing that you can have a connection with someone else and you can grow something and you can have those butterflies not just from one person in the world. Yes, there is. Life goes on.
Yes.
Okay, wait. But you wiped him from your Instagram. All of the pictures are gone. What happened?
I'm very dramatic.
Oh, Gardy.
I'm dramatic. I. Do you guys not like that's the thing. Like something that. That to people is a big deal to me is not a big deal at the moment. And then it's like, oh, it became something that is not.
Did you archive or did you fully delete?
I just archived.
Okay.
But I'm very dramatic. Like I'm the type person. Oh, okay.
Right. He's like, did something that you didn't love and you're like, look at this. Gone.
Yes. And he was like, why would you do that? That was so. Why would you do that? And. But you know, that's the type of thing that we say like, like that we laugh about. Cuz it's like, why would you do that? See, now everybody's saying they that that is because your ass think you see what happens.
You're like, God damn it. I archived because he was acting up and like, it's cuz you're ass.
You're like, yeah, yeah, but you see how that bit me in the ass?
Literally.
And actually for something that. It was very stupid and little. I'm dramatic. I even forgot. No, because it's so. Because I'm just dramatic like that.
Wait, I'm obsessed. Obsessed with you waking up. He, like, doesn't call you at the exact time. You're like archive art. I could also see you. You're like sitting there, like, smiling as you're.
I did. I was like. And then it's like, okay, we'll see when he notice. He'll notice soon. I'm so annoying.
It's cute. Okay, I have a couple lyrics that I want to ask you about. And then we're gonna get to your album. Okay. Previous lyrics. Broke boys don't deserve no pussy. What is the biggest broke boy behavior that makes you instantly lose interest when.
They don't have a job, but it's because they intentionally don't have a job?
Okay. I went through your phone last night, saw some things I didn't like. What is the worst thing you've ever found on a man's phone at this point?
I don't. I don't really go through, like, I don't even really find things on a man phone. I find it on social media.
God damn it. That's the worst. If you catch a guy in the act of, like, being shady and cheating and you confront him, what's the craziest reaction a man has ever given you? Like, for me, he's cried and I'm like, wait, how are you crying if.
You cry right away? Is that. Stop playing with me, Bow.
You're like, why are you. Oh, my God.
Stop playing. Go ahead. I'm gonna give you something to cry about for real.
Have you ever had a guy cry?
Absolutely.
Isn't it kind of crazy?
How do they do that? I am terrible at. I. I know immediately, like, yeah, sorry.
I'm starting the lip quiver and you're like, I don't.
I can't even do that. Even when I act like, even when I do a little acting scene, I can't even get the quiver.
Okay, I don't need the D, I need the money. What's the longest you've gone without sex?
Oh, I could go like two months. I could go a month or so. Like, it could go.
Okay, let's talk about your new album. Am I the drama?
Yeah.
What is the story behind the title?
I just always feel like I'm into something. And then it's like. And even ever since I was a little girl, I'm always in, like, trouble. My name is always mixed up to certain things, and it's like, why me? Like, is that I really just be out the way, but it doesn't matter if I'm out the way. It happens. Like, for example, like, this court case that's going on, right? And it's like, people. Like, I have seen people say, like. Because, like, Cardi's always in court. And I'd be like, it really is really not because of me. It's just like, the drama follows me.
Like you said earlier, you're like, I'm just gonna say what the it is.
Yeah.
And even if you don't like it, but I'm gonna say it.
Yeah.
Okay. I know we mentioned this earlier, but I want to talk a little bit more about, like, almost seven years.
Yeah.
Since your first album, how long did this take you to write? How long have you been working on it? What kind of stress level are we at right now?
The stress level right now is very intense. Like, I've been working every single day. I haven't gotten. Do you want to know how long I haven't gotten dick? I haven't got dick down in, like, two, three weeks already. Like, it's like, that's how long? Because I just been working every single day I've been working on this album. I probably have songs there. They are like. Like, six years old. Probably six or probably five years old. I've been working out this album for a minute. But, like, during that seven years, I have been putting out records and stuff like that. It's not like. It's like, I haven't.
Just not, like, a full album.
Just not. Just not a full album. And the stress, it's literally driving me. I'm like, I swear to God, if I didn't laser. I probably have gray hairs. I swear.
Okay, we went through some of your lyrics. What is your favorite line from the new album? Or give me a couple.
Oh, I got. Can let me go to my phone so I can see which. Like. Because I got so many songs that it's like. So there's this. There's this lyric that. There's this lyric on my back that I say, now wherever you at is where I want to be. I'm on your dick. I want to hold it when you pee. Like, I am on your dick so much. I love you so much that if you want me to hold your pee your dick while you peeing, I'll hold it.
Where were you when you came up with this incredibly genius lyric in the studio?
But when I said it, my engineer was like, you're ridiculous. He was like, why do you be coming up with this stuff? How you be coming up with this stuff? That's what my engineer said. He was like, like why? Why would you say that? And it's like. It's like. Cuz it's stupid. It's not stupid. It's just like. It's so.
It's so. It's so stupid. It's genius.
Yes.
Because it's like so real and there are a lot of. That would literally.
Yeah. Like, you know how like some be like. Like I want to live under his skin.
Yes.
It's like I want to hold your penis every single day. Like it's a platter. I want to sit it right here next to me and cherish him forever. And cherish it forever. So precious to me. Oh, penis.
Oh, penis. Okay, wait. How do you think you have evolved as a person since your first album to now?
Oh, so many, honey. I mean, I have evolved in my, in my career as a person. I have calmed down way much, I think. Way much. Like I'm. I'm always thinking about like as much as. As much as people think that I just like, wow, whatever. Like I'm spontaneous. I actually think a little bit more before I like go out my way to do something sometimes. I'm more chill now. Like I have more fears now. Like I'm a mom, so I got more fears. Like it's like you're not living for you. You no more. You living for these kids. Everything you do. Like, it's like if you like it's like if I lose everything, I'm not just losing like, oh, I'm losing my house. I'm losing my this. I'm losing their future. So I am responsible for their future. So I have to act a certain way.
And last question. What do you ultimately hope fans take away from this new album?
I just hope that they see and feel my feelings. That they see my fun side, my pain, my anger. I hope that they see all of that and I hope they see that I put my. I put a lot of work into this album. This ain't no play play.
Were you about to say I put my ass into this.
I put my ass, my. My wife, my underarm, my nose, my neck, my bbl, put my toes in it.
