Declaration of Dependance | Pastor Harvey Carey

Guest Speaker Pastor Harvey Carey continued the Everything’s Fine series by reminding us that healing begins when we stop pretending we are okay and admit our need for God. Using steps two and three, he invited the church to move from a declaration of independence to a declaration of dependence on the God who can restore, heal, and sustain us. Through personal stories of trauma, therapy, grief, and God’s faithfulness, Pastor Harvey showed that trusting God does not mean life has been easy, but that God has never failed him. He encouraged listeners to believe that God is the spark, surrender their will to Him, and rely on His strength to keep moving forward. This message is a powerful call to stop striving in our own strength and trust the God who brings freedom, renewal, and hope.
