Hello darlings. Today we are very pleased to give you a 29 song mix of the coolest surf rock from the early 1960s we could find. Clocking in at just over an hour, we’ve got some gems from Dick Dale, a great Beach Boys instrumental, some really moody cuts, and one lone track with vocals - The Trashmen’s King of the Surf - to be honest, it’s probably more on the side of hot rod rock than surf rock , but it just wouldn’t feel right to leave it out. There may even be a track or two from the 90s surf rock revival - can you tell?

You may have ignored the surf rock posts this week because, well, they’re surf rock. But we’re gonna have to insist that you give this a solid listen, preferably at the beach or at the pool, or blaring from your speakers as you hang out the window of your woodie.
