When people start questioning if God created the world, unbelief is creeping in. When someone disregards that Jesus is who He says He is, those doubts have taken hold. Well what Pastor Ben is getting at today is that when you're in the word, immersed in the truth it holds, you can be joyful and embrace gratitude and excitement. Because the Bible is the truth. A distance, an idea of “God you're so Holy and greater that I can't even think of entering Your presence.” Well Pastor Ben wants you to remember today that what Jesus did on the cross brought about a whole new way of being. It's like when a bride has a veil that separates her from her groom, but then the veil is removed and her face is uncovered. The reality is that people sink into a state of depression so deep that they feel as if there's no way out but to take their own lives. Jesus died and rose again so that whoever believes in Him could have eternal life. Don't keep that message a secret. Share your hope. They were to kill a spotless lamb and put its blood on the doorpost of their houses. So that the Lord's judgment would pass over them. In today's message Pastor Ben teaches you that the Passover Lamb is a picture of Jesus. The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. The only way to escape God's judgment for your sins is for your life to be marked with the blood of Jesus, God's perfect Lamb. It's all about the “PR”, and making things appear a certain way, and you know deep down that all they care about is themselves. In today's message Pastor Ben points out that that's what was going on with the Jews who crucified Jesus. They got Him out of the way by killing Him, and then they wanted to get rid of His body so it wasn't an eyesore on their holy day.
