Wow, that was a powerful summary that we just heard from Pastor Ben. I think it's important that I repeat it. One of the main points of the entire Gospel of John is the substitutionary death of Jesus. What does that mean? Pastor Ben will share today that this means you and I, all of us, were destined to die for our sins. But God stepped in and sent His own son to die in your place, as The Substitute. It's the most beautiful sacrifice anyone has ever made. This is the core of this book we're studying together.
