Truth isn't always pleasant. Believing that everyone will go to heaven in the end is comforting, but it's not true. Hell is a very real place and it's just not possible to be good enough to reach heaven apart from Jesus. These are hard pills to swallow and thousands of corrupt leaders around the world ignore them all together. Today Pastor Ben will stress the importance of being part of a church that preaches the truth, even though it's hard. The Bible is God's perfect word and it's crucial that we study all of it. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 11, as he continues his message “Good News And Bad News.”
Arguably, the word that most defines Christianity is Hope. For every person without faith death is the end. You live for maybe 85 years and that's it, game over. For the Christian death means seeing loved ones once again. Finally being free of sin and its consequences, and receiving a vastly upgraded body that will never get tired or decay. Most of all it means seeing the Lord face to face and being with Him forever. Today Pastor Ben will encourage you to press on and share the gospel until you reach glory. Right here, right now, Jesus is calling you. He knows you better than anyone, including yourself. He's always cared for you, and He hates to see you suffer and struggle with sin. He also knows that God's judgment is coming very soon. Today Pastor Ben will ask you to turn and repent. This might be the first time you're receiving Jesus or the thousandth time you felt called to abandon your sin. Regardless, the Bible says that today is the day of salvation. Don't put this off. Settle the matter in your heart now. Here's Pastor Ben in the book of Acts chapter 9, as he continues his message “Jesus Raises Lazarus.”
This world is painful to live in. Disease, heartbreak, confusion, fear, death, and sin are all normal parts of our day-to-day routine. It's natural to yearn for the moment when Jesus returns and makes all things right. But today Pastor Ben will tell us that it's actually a blessing and a mercy that Jesus hasn't come back yet. There's still time for everyone on earth to repent and place their faith in Christ. But that window is closing. Keep looking forward to the day Jesus comes back, but share the gospel boldly until then. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 11, as he continues his message “Jesus Raises Lazarus.”
Aren't you thankful that Jesus died for everyone who believes? Not just the people of Israel. In He's boundless love, Jesus decided to bury your sins and mine. Even though we were not part of His nation of followers. Today Pastor Ben will encourage you to share the gift you've been given. Nothing you did or will do earned your salvation. In fact Jesus saved you despite your sin. Now that you've been forgiven, share the good news with everyone you know. So that they too may become a part of God's family. Jesus’ words are more than truth. They're more than history. They're the means to eternal life. Knowing Jesus’ words and truly applying them to your earthly life will bring you eternal life spent in the glory of heaven with the father. You need to let go of stubbornness and choose to believe what Jesus so clearly revealed to you. Today Pastor Ben teaches that the scriptures cannot be broken. What Jesus promised then, He promises now. Believe in the works, in the Miracles that God can and will do. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 10, as he continues his message “Jesus Asserts His Deity.”
People who don't know the Lord fear things they can't understand. They let their fear hold power over their lives. Keeping them from true peace. Believers who put their faith and trust in God know who they belong to, and don't fear the happenings of man. People need to hold Jesus in their hearts. Standing firm on His promises. Today Pastor Ben reminds us that we need to cast our fears out and know that God will see to it that we're taking care of in His perfect timing. The devil will have you thinking that your sins are what make you who you are, and that God could never truly forgive you. Do not let this lie keep you from being the person that God intended you to be! Jesus gives life abundantly. He bore the wrath of God to make your sins forgiven in totality. Today Pastor Ben teaches you that your sins past, present, and future have already been forgiven. That Jesus died for you on a cross to make this possible. Take hold of this truth and Praise the Lord! Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 10, as he continues his message “Jesus The Good Shepherd.”
There's nobody who can relate to us the same way that Jesus can. Everything we feel He's felt and He can get us through it. Jesus will always be there. Taking us by the hand, ready to lead us out of the trials we found ourselves in. With love and grace He guides us through the valleys, having gone through them first. Today Pastor Ben teaches us that Jesus our great Shepherd will never leave us to handle the struggles we face on our own. Cry out to Him and allow Him to lead you. Did you ever feel distant from the Lord? Maybe you're having a hard time seeing Him in the things you do, or finding it difficult to share with others the truth that was once still alive within you. Well today Pastor Ben teaches us that you need to strive to grow in knowledge of the Lord. Read your Bible and allow the Holy Spirit to be present in everything you do. When we're with God, but don't use what we've been given to glorify Him, that which we do have can be taken away. So don't let your flame die out.
