The devil will have you thinking that your sins are what make you who you are, and that God could never truly forgive you. Do not let this lie keep you from being the person that God intended you to be! Jesus gives life abundantly. He bore the wrath of God to make your sins forgiven in totality. Today Pastor Ben teaches you that your sins past, present, and future have already been forgiven. That Jesus died for you on a cross to make this possible. Take hold of this truth and Praise the Lord! Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 10, as he continues his message “Jesus The Good Shepherd.”
There's nobody who can relate to us the same way that Jesus can. Everything we feel He's felt and He can get us through it. Jesus will always be there. Taking us by the hand, ready to lead us out of the trials we found ourselves in. With love and grace He guides us through the valleys, having gone through them first. Today Pastor Ben teaches us that Jesus our great Shepherd will never leave us to handle the struggles we face on our own. Cry out to Him and allow Him to lead you. Did you ever feel distant from the Lord? Maybe you're having a hard time seeing Him in the things you do, or finding it difficult to share with others the truth that was once still alive within you. Well today Pastor Ben teaches us that you need to strive to grow in knowledge of the Lord. Read your Bible and allow the Holy Spirit to be present in everything you do. When we're with God, but don't use what we've been given to glorify Him, that which we do have can be taken away. So don't let your flame die out. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 9, as he continues his message “Jesus A True Friend.”
Jesus wants nothing more than for everybody to know who He is. To experience the love and grace that He has to offer. But unfortunately humans make it hard. We overanalyze everything. Questioning what we see and hear. The more we read the word of God the more we realize just how straightforward it is. When we seek the truth of the Lord He reveals Himself to us in many different ways. Today Pastor Ben teaches us that simply reading the scriptures and hearing the word of God will not return void. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 9, as he begins his message “Jesus A True Friend.”
Don't ever be ashamed of the experience you've had with the Lord. The way we give Glory to God is not meant to be poetic or super sophisticated. It's simply meant to be raw and true. No matter what others may believe, or how they react to your truths, it will not change your testimony. Today Pastor Ben teaches us that we have to share with others our experience of God's hand coming upon us. Confess that Jesus is Lord, and give all the glory to God. Boldly relying on His power and goodness. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 9, as he continues his message “The Pharisees Excommunicate The Healed Man.”
Jesus' promises are secure. They offer peace and comfort. He was with us in the past, continues to work with us in the present, and He will be there for us in the future. His love is steadfast and will never waver. There's nothing that we can do to push our Heavenly Father away. When we're feeling alone, like we've got nobody to lean on, Jesus is there. He sees us and meets us where we are. Today Pastor Ben teaches us that Jesus can do for us what no one else can. Lean into Him and don't be afraid. What we've gone through has made us who we are, and it's the reason why we're blessed. Our testimonies were never meant to be tucked away. Hidden from the world. God allows us to go through trials and tribulations so that He may be revealed through them. When we share our testimonies we're essentially giving Glory to God and allowing others to see firsthand His love, grace, and faithfulness. Today Pastor Ben teaches us to own who we are in the glory of God. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 9, as he continues his message “A Man Born Blind Receives Sight.”
God doesn't inflict bad things on us to teach us lessons. He allows bad things to happen so His work can be revealed through them. God can take our struggles and use them to lift us up. But He will never cause struggles just to pave the way for the better. As humans we tend to believe that there are reasons for everything and the enemy would like us to believe that God is punishing us. Today Pastor Ben teaches us that bad things happening are natural results of the sinful world. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 9, as he begins his message “A Man Born Blind Receives Sight.”
When we spend time reading the word, writing it on our hearts, we begin to see God as He is. We change, allowing Him to shape and mold us from the inside out. The truth purifies us and sets us free from the sins of this world. Today Pastor Ben teaches us that we should wake up every morning assuming the Rapture position. Once this life is over we're going to be with the Lord. We have to keep our minds on Christ. Spending time with Him daily. Imitating His character and being who He calls us to be. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 8, as he continues his message “Honor And Dishonor.”
The personal attacks on Jesus were more than most of us could bear. As humans we tend to let our pride and emotions get in the way. Leading us into temptation and making way for anger. When we allow ourselves to react to emotion, we lose sight of God. Today Pastor Ben teaches us how Jesus calculated every move, every word, and every miracle to bring honor to the Father. This is a character trait we need to adopt as well. Keeping in mind that our ultimate goal as believers is to bring honor to our Lord. Here's Pastor Ben in the Book of John chapter 8, as he begins his message “Honor And Dishonor.”
