But notice the different words I just used, religion and faith. Religion is just a set of beliefs about a higher power. Turn the corner to the religious section and it's littered with books declaring when Jesus will return, and exactly what will happen. Friends we don't know when Jesus is going to come back, and frankly there's a lot of mystery about the end times. The dashboard on your car provides all sorts of indicators for what's actually going on with your car. When the needle is close to that letter “e” it's time to get some gas, right? Well your walk with Jesus is no different. Anger and shortness with your family members is a dashboard light of your spiritual life. Indicating that you haven't spent enough time with Jesus.
