Men and women are sent here to free them from the madness which supposedly drove them to break the law. Like Julian Day, the Calendar Man. Institutionalized for committing crimes that align with dates on the calendar.

[Jonathan Crane]

It's May. You said you'd have caught her by February.

[Bruce Wayne]

I know what we said.

[Jonathan Crane]

He's making quite a name for herself, Holiday. Soon the Calendar man will be forgotten.

[Bruce Wayne]

Why? Why didn't she kill on April Fool's Day?

[Jonathan Crane]

We found.22 caliber bullets and an outline around the Riddler. Perhaps he thought to take the date seriously. April fools. No killing today.

[Bruce Wayne]

What do you know about Harvey Dent? The District attorney? He put you in here, didn't he?

[Jonathan Crane]

I know that he's a Gemini. He has a birthday coming up soon. Why do you ask?

[Bruce Wayne]

I bend the bars of the cell and follow. Someone else had a hand in this. Someone else brought him the straw, unleashing the scarecrow. Jonathan Crane. Psychiatrist turned psychopath. He preys on the innocent and instills them with fear. He's making a break for it. Riding a horse towards the perimeter fence. Not in my city. Not on this day. Did you think you could run away? Did you? Who helped you? Who set this up? Give me a name or a. No. A ruse. It's not him. I'm grappling a strawman. Something was hidden in the body of the decoy. Chemicals. Toxins. Scarecrow's tools. He uses them to induce fear. Cover up. Don't breathe. He's gone.

[Captain Gordon]

At the risk of sounding redundant, Captain Gordon, Mr. Wayne is not at home.

[Alfred Pennyworth]

Mr. Pennyworth, you must know I don't want to be here. Certainly not under these circumstances.

Is it not possible that this is some sort of terrible mistake? Mr. Wayne has no connection to this Falcone person.

Then only by cooperating can we clear this whole thing up. Alfred.
