John
What was the other comments you made that made you mad?
Briana
We went out to dinner. So he's like, oh, you know how I get. I shouldn't have smoked it. She looks over the table. Oh, Little J. Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Now she got a nickname for it.
John
And then I was like, oh, well,
Briana
it's Big J now, bitch. He calls me. And it was like a very rushed, quick phone call. Hey, nice to see. Nice to talk to you. What are you doing Tuesday, 1 o'?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Clock.
Briana
Okay, bye.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh, you hated who you were.
Briana
Like, that was.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
You called her. They'll wall you on a date with it.
John
It wasn't going good. And also, I had dates throughout the week, so I only had very small windows.
Briana
So when I met John, he was 58, but I've been on a date with a guy who was 66, which did not go well.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Why did that not go well? And what made John's date go so well?
Briana
He did not tell me that he was an amputee and that he was Ms.
John
Okay.
Briana
And I'm like, oh, can't believe it.
Weezy
Wait, wait, hold on, hold on.
Briana
He didn't.
Weezy
Wait, wait.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
One last look.
Weezy
Decisions, decisions.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Hey, guys, welcome to another episode of Decisions. I feel like I gotta sound half black and half white this episode.
Weezy
Oh, my God.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
So we gonna get it going or whatever. And it's your girl, Mandy B. AKA that peach, AKA Peg the Stallion.
Weezy
Hey, y', all, I'm Weezy, and I'm actually really excited right now because I've been trying to get y' all on for months.
Briana
Do you remember it's been a while. Yes.
Weezy
I don't know how this got on my algorithm. Was I typing in Sugar Daddy maybe?
Briana
You know how it got.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Well, we actually have been, like, looking up, like, we've been sharing. Now couples that we come across online, we don't share our personal relationships online, so. So when we see couples, we've been sharing them. Especially couples that are like, I wonder how that happened.
Briana
Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And I'm sure you guys kind of get that response online a lot. So, Weezy, do you want to introduce our guests?
Weezy
So one of my favorite Instagrams to stalk milk and melanin. John and Briana are here. Let's clap it up for us.
John
Yes.
Weezy
So I was actually joking when I said sugar daddy. I'm like, Cause really, how did this come? But I actually think that was the day it happened. And I was, like, looking up sugar daddy tips for an episode. And when you guys popped up and I saw you were married, the first thing I thought was like, how fucking annoying it must be that everyone's like, oh, is he rich? And blah, blah, blah, blah. That is my first question. Is he rich?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
That being your first question is crazy.
Briana
He seems very well off now.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He's well off.
John
I'm not rich, though.
Weezy
I mean, you know, when you see.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He said I'm wealthy, bitch.
Briana
He does well.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He does very well.
Weezy
And then we have our other home. Well, interesting things about interracial couples to me are always how they're getting along, how they culturally fit. But you're not only an interracial, you're an age gap couple.
Briana
Yeah.
Weezy
So can you introduce yourselves, tell us your ages and where you met?
Briana
Yes. No one's gonna Believe me. I'm 28. I get that. I look so much older. Bitch, you're 28. I just turned 29 a week ago.
John
29.
Briana
So I'm 29. Yeah. So I just turned 29. But we uploaded a video talking about how we met and our age, and everyone's like, she's lying. She's not 28. He's not 61. There's no way. There's no way. And I was just like, okay, so this is. What.
John
What is that?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
33 years. I tried to do that really quick,
Weezy
you know, I know the number. Don't give 28. It's your voice, your demeanor, and a lot like 28, sometimes when I think about it, doesn't always feel very poised. It's like we're still learning. I was dressing crazy at 28.
Briana
Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I love that you give a mature 28, because I'll be fucking with the Y N. And they'd be like, what do you all have in common? I'll be like, girl, they be knowing stuff.
Briana
You know how to talk.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
You're giving you, you know stuff.
Briana
Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
So you are now 29.
Briana
Yes.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
You are 61. Will you be 62 this year?
John
No, I'm 62. You're 62 in December.
Weezy
And how old were you when you guys met?
Briana
I was 25 and you were 58 going on 59.
John
58 going on 59 in August.
Briana
We met in August.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay, now real quick, is this your first Relationship with someone this much older, or have you always dated older?
Briana
No, me personally, I've always dated older guys. I've always been attracted to older men. So that's just always what I've gravitated to since, you know, why 18, 19.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Only because the comments are going to say daddy issues, you know, and I'm
Briana
going to put that out there. I. I have a very strained relationship with my father. We talk, but we're not really close because he was in and out of prison when I was growing up. So we don't really have a close relationship. I'm extremely close with my mother, my brother. My grandfather was a big influence in my life. He passed away a few years ago. But, yeah, I have always dated older men, and I've always been attracted to older guys. I just never felt compelled to date someone my age, especially when I was younger and I was a teenager, because I didn't have anything in common with them. Like, I. There was nothing for me to talk about with someone who was 18, 19, when I was around that age. Like, there was nothing for me to. I've always been very mature for my age, and I just get along better with older people, so I just gravitate.
Weezy
The same for you? Yes.
John
No. So I was married for about 25 years to somebody my same age.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh, wow.
John
She also black and. No.
Weezy
Okay.
John
And I have one daughter who's 32.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Your daughter's older than your girlfriend?
John
Yeah, that's a whole nother story. But anyway, so I got divorced about six years ago and just started dating and didn't really look at ages and just fell into these younger women that were interested, and some of them were out looking for money, but not all of them. And I just got along with them. And I'm a big partier and I'm very active, and so I, like, do
Briana
something very, very active.
John
And I didn't really want a girlfriend. I was dating a lot of people.
Briana
He was a player. He was in the streets. Hardcore.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He was in the streets.
Briana
He was in the streets.
John
I had. I had people. I had a few girlfriends in D.C. a couple in Philly, a few in North Jersey, and a few in New York on kind of like a rotation.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh, rotation.
Briana
He had a whole system. He had a system going on right now.
Weezy
What is in the medicine cabinet is the address.
John
I'm just fun. So if I meet someone and I get to talk to them and go
Weezy
out, they want to be around you.
John
They hit it out. Yeah. Like, I dance and I do things
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
that other people No, I mean, before we got in here, guys, I literally rode the elevator up with them, and they were telling me how they went and saw Meg, Thee Stallion and Moulin Rouge. They wouldn't have just saw Cardi B last night. Was it Trina?
Briana
We saw Trina last night in Asbury Park.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Do you know the music, though, Jon? Like, do you know?
John
I know it through Briana. I didn't know it before, but we've also seen Smokey Robinson.
Weezy
Ooh.
John
We've seen Frankie Valli. We've seen. If you ever heard of Engelbert Huffmerdink,
Weezy
Anglebury Humperdank.
John
Yeah, he's really old.
Weezy
Being Slipknot is cool now. That, to me is.
John
Yeah, yeah.
Briana
So we've seen Slipknot, we've seen Rammstein. Because I listen to metal. I listen to rock music. I listen to rap, country, everything. So I've taken him to some concerts he didn't want to go to. We saw Rammstein almost a few weeks after we met, and he was not a fan. It's a German.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Yeah. I don't know.
Briana
Yeah, they're a German metal band, really hardcore. But the stage show is like, a lot of pyro and flamethrowers and theatrics. And he was just.
John
It was also in MetLife Stadium. It was raining.
Briana
It was raining.
Weezy
I want to ask you something, because my boyfriend made a comment to me recently. He's like, I feel like if it wasn't us, at the end of the day, you might end up with a white guy again. I was like, really? Why you say that? He was like, when you're in the fucking house and you play music, he's like, I know there's been a black man in your life. They've been like, why are you listening to that shit? Have you ever felt like your interests made you skew outside of your race?
Briana
Yes. Yes.
John
You can call music.
Briana
Cause I do listen to everything, but predominantly for a very long time, I was listening to a lot of metal, a lot of rock music, and no one in my family listens to that music. I'm really the black sheep of my family. No one's into that? No. Like, it was just something I kind of discovered when I was really Young on YouTube in the middle of the night. And it was just something I always listened to. Yeah, exactly.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Now I need to know the story and how y' all met.
John
Okay, so how we met was really interesting. So I was using mainly Tinder and Bumble. But one day I got on match one. Day put a thing up.
Weezy
You were on match 25.
Briana
Yeah, I was using Match normally for older people. And this is why a lot of people. This is why a lot of people felt like, I'm older than my age. I'm lying about my age because I was only using Match. Eharmony.
John
Yeah.
Briana
I was like, meet me.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Wait.
Briana
Like, I was using.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Cause even eharmony is older as well.
Briana
It's very old. Cause I was looking for an older guy.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay.
Briana
So I wasn't interested in Tinder. I never used Bumble. Like, I never have used anything like that. So I was on match, OkCupid. Predominantly match.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And okay, these are dating apps that y'.
Sexual Health Advocate
All.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
If you're listening and you're a little
John
younger and you don't know, these dating
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
apps had commercials back in the day.
Briana
Yes. Like, yes.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
These are from the 90s and early 2000s.
Weezy
Plenty of fish, but okay. Match.
John
Yeah. But it's interesting. So I'm on Match, and literally Briana's the only person that I even matched with. And then I got off it. We matched, and then my goal was to get a phone call. Cause I'm good if I get. So we got a phone call. The phone call happened to be with her when I was on a date with somebody else. So it had to be quick.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Wait, wait, wait, wait. Share how that happened.
Briana
So our very first phone call. So he messages me on Match and he's like, oh, I love your personality. And I would love for us to have lunch. Here's my number. You know, can I call you? I was like, yeah, sure. You know, call me whenever. Really, I don't care. So he calls me one night. I think it was like a Monday night. He calls me and it was like a very rushed, quick phone call. Hey, nice to see. Nice to talk to you. What are you doing Tuesday, one o'. Clock. Okay, bye.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh, you hated who you are.
Briana
Like, that was. No, that was.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
You called her, though, while you were on a date with someone else.
John
It wasn't going good. And also, I had dates throughout the week, so I only had very small window.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
It's giving you new lunch and dinner dates.
Briana
He did.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He gives lunch and dinner dates because
Briana
of the fact that he was doing that.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He's on a Monday dinner date.
Briana
Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
This is due a date. And we meet at 1 o' clock on Tuesday.
Briana
Yes.
Weezy
John. Hold on.
John
John.
Weezy
You go to the bathroom, I'm assuming.
John
Yeah.
Weezy
You take this phone call. All I could think is, I set
John
the date and we had the date. So the date was Tuesday and it was in North Jersey and I live on the beach, on the shore.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I love the shore.
John
So I come up to the date and I'm dressed. It's in August. I'm dressed for the beach. I got shorts and a khaki shorts
Briana
and a tie dye shirt. Not the tie dye shirt, tie dye shirt.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
So I get.
John
I'm waiting outside for her to get out of the car. She pulls up in an Uber and
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
gets out and she's dressed.
Briana
I'm kind of dressed like this. Yeah.
John
I'm like, yeah, it's August and it's hot. What in the hell?
Briana
And I'm like, why is he dressed like a beach boy? Like, what is going on?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I mean, I'm not going to lie, it's summer, it's almost 80 outside.
Briana
I don't need to be wearing a leather jacket.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
She said, I'm gonna wear a leather jacket even if it's summer.
John
I wasn't gonna wear the leather, but she won.
Briana
But because they're wearing dark colors. I love dark colors.
Weezy
Had you been on a date with someone John's age before?
Briana
Yes, older actually.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh, okay.
Briana
So when I met John, he was 58, but I've been on a date with a guy who was 66, which did not go well.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Why did that not go well? And what made John's date go so well?
Briana
So particularly with that one man who was 66. He did not tell me that he was an amputee and that he was missing a leg. He didn't tell me that. And so I met him at Starbucks for coffee and he was wearing shorts.
Weezy
He was wearing shorts. And he was like, yeah, yes.
Briana
And I'm like, oh, can't believe it.
Weezy
Wait, wait, hold on, hold on.
John
Yeah, we both have a lot of. We can do a whole episode on other dates. Like I could do a whole.
Weezy
Wait, wait, wait. Crazy. Explain what was gone.
Briana
His, like it was from like the. Was he rolling it from the knee down? He had the prosthetic on. He had prosthetic.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
It had to be.
Briana
He was not a veteran. He wasn't military. He was a motivational speaker.
Weezy
He was a 66 year old man with no legs.
Briana
Yes. Which he didn't tell me. He didn't.
Weezy
What?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
What look he had. You.
Weezy
Has my mom ever told you the story that she woke up?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Click, click.
Weezy
My mother tells this story about how she was fucked up at Studio 54. Who was 354. She wakes up and she goes, I swear to God. I was like, is he hobbling Over. And then all I heard was click, click. And he put the legs back on. And I kept thinking, how good was the coke?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
How did I not know?
Weezy
The story is so crazy. But at least you got, you know, he had shorts on. So you saw the leg.
Briana
He had shorts on. So I saw walking into Starbucks. I'm like, oh, okay.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Well, at least when you met Jonathan, he had both legs.
Briana
Yes.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Cause his shorts.
Briana
He had on shorts and he had both legs.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
So then that went terrible. F. That date. How did the first date with John go? And what made you get to date too?
Briana
Yes, actually we met. So there was a particular diner in Fair Lawn, Elmwood Park, New Jersey, up north. Cause I'm from Patterson.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay.
Briana
And there's a diner called Gotham City Diner. And I was kind of using that for my first dates. Like, that was my go to. Like, oh, meet me. Yeah. I'm like, oh, I love this place. Gotham City Diner. That was like my go to place. So we're on the phone and he's like, Tuesday, one o'. Clock. And I'm like, okay, Gotham City Diner. Bye. See you there. And that was the phone call, which I really didn't wanna go on the date because the phone call was so rushed. And I looked in the mirror. Like I was in my bedroom when we had our call and I looked in the mirror and I just thought to myself, yeah, this ain't gonna work out. I was like, I'm not. I was like, I'm not gonna see him. This is not gonna work out. Cause what was that phone call? What was that?
John
What was that?
Briana
But then the day came and I thought, ah, free lunch. So I was like. I was like, yeah, go black them.
Weezy
No, that's what we're doing.
John
That's what she was doing.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He said, I do it now.
Weezy
When it comes to, you know, you're dating, it's going well. I feel like there hits this point where we're like, how is this really gonna, like, happen for me? So I feel that my first question to you, which I really wanna. I would bet my life everyone's thinking, so you don't want kids or you do?
Briana
Yes.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Sperm works forever, bro.
Weezy
That's not my. I wanna tell you why I'm asking that, though.
Briana
I am, yeah, I am open to having kids. Actually. I never wanted children before I met John. I never wanted any kids. Like, I just. It was. I am on birth control. I've been on birth control since I was 16. Like, I've never wanted any kids until I met John. Him and I have been talking about it a lot. I do feel a lot more open because of the love that we have and the relationship that we have. Like, I want a mixture of us, like, a little mini us, like. And we already start picking out names if it's a girl, if it's a boy. But I'm still. Still on birth control. I don't feel like I'm physically, mentally ready for childbirth and everything that comes with that. And of course he wants to have a kid like, four years ago. Cause.
Weezy
So you wanna take your time.
Briana
I do. I am open to having a child, but I do wanna take my time, which he feels like. We ain't got that.
Weezy
So. 91 in June. And the reason I asked is. Cause I'm 35, I visit my dad at a nursing home. And it's tough now. My dad probably wasn't as popping as John is right now, 62. But does it come in your head of, like, the real question of selfishness? A little bit.
John
It comes in my head a lot to say, is it right for me to have a child at my age? But then I don't think that would be good for Brianna because I think if she doesn't have a child, I think she may regret it.
Weezy
What about when you guys have the conversation with your families?
John
Well, my. Actually, our families, for the most part, are very supportive. My daughter is not supportive. Not about this, but after I got divorced, six years later, she's still upset about it. And I didn't really tell her about anything. But she knows because she grew up in the D.C. area. So her friends, who I've known since kids, they would see me out with people and I would introduce them. So she kind of knows, but she doesn't talk to me that much. And she has two kids, so I'm a grandfather.
Weezy
Okay.
John
But I have to live my life. She's very successful. She lives in Michigan.
Weezy
Oh, that's good.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And then I'm curious, outside of your daughter not supporting you said your. Your family, for the most part, is. What about your family?
Briana
Very, very.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay.
Briana
My family loves John. My mom loves him. And. Oh, is there a point where they didn't, though?
Weezy
Was there a point where they were, like, pushing back on it because you
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
guys have been together now, you said three years?
Briana
Four. Well, going on four years this summer. Four years this summer. No, my family's actually been very supportive from the beginning. I've had cousins that were more so, like, you know, as long as he treats you good and he takes care of you and he Treats you nice, and he respects you as an individual and allows you to be your own person. We don't care. He's fine with us. So my family has always been very open with that.
Weezy
So besides your daughter, you guys haven't had a hurdle. What about your homegirls? What about people in your life?
Briana
And I do have a friend who's not a fan of me dating older white men.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
She's like, oh, wait, not even older. Older white men?
Briana
Older white men. She tries to hook me up with her friends and with black guys. And I love black men. I've just never, like, dated any black men, but it feels like, ever, like, ever.
Weezy
My mom liked this, too.
Briana
What the fuck? Ever?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Yeah, ever. But you said it's also. Do you feel like it's because your interests weren't the same? You feel like it was more social?
Briana
Yeah, but she's pretty different.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
But no, you still want to somewhat connect to.
Briana
Like, to connect to. And I just felt like there was no one in Patterson, Specifically Patterson, N.J. there was no one that I could kind of click with, but are your friends.
Weezy
You're the girls you hang out with?
Briana
No, I have black friends, but Dominican.
Weezy
You have black women, Dominican friends?
Briana
Yes.
Weezy
And you've never dated a black guy?
Briana
Yes.
Weezy
Maybe you don't.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I mean, I got white friends, and I never dated a white guy.
Weezy
No, I mean, like, for example, like a Candace Owens, right? You ever see her baby shower picture? There's no black women around.
Briana
Yeah.
Weezy
Okay. So you're like, all right, if you went to college or if your neighborhood. If you're around a certain race, it's like, okay, I see how you fell into it.
Briana
So it just never really happened. Like, me with black guys, it's like, they're the homies, they're the bros. Like, I just never.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
So sexually. You're not attracted and they've never tried.
Briana
I just never had that. Yeah, it's like, they're cool. They're the bros. And. Yeah, that's really.
John
And out of all the people I dated who were all in their 20s or sometimes a little bit younger, but
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
no, they better be in their 20s now.
John
I never met anyone like Brianna who exclusively dated older men. They would just. A lot of times I was a novelty for them until they got to know me. And then sometimes they would get more involved and want to be a relationship. And most of the time I'd be, no. I did have one prior relationship, and it's. That's a whole nother story. But I. So I was just Dating.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I rose, you know about it.
John
We've been through all that. I was just dating for four with that one.
Weezy
You've been there a lot. So she has never dated a black guy. And now you're 62, so I'm assuming you've had your fair share. Tell me a little bit about. Did you just have your races open? Did you want to date black women? Ever been with one? What was it like?
John
I had never been with one. I had my races open. Okay. I got married in my 20s. I was pretty young.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay.
John
And I was pretty conservative because I went in the Air Force when I was a high school. When I was a kid. I had a crazy childhood, and I did a lot of bad things as a kid. The Air Force kind of saved me. But once I went in the Air Force and met this woman, got married, had kind of a very normal life. Once I got divorced, I kind of went back to the way I used to be.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
You said I wanted to wild.
John
And I didn't really pick African American women. It just kind of happened.
Weezy
Now, you said you always dated women in their 20s, sometimes younger. How young?
John
I think the youngest one I actually dated was 19.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay.
John
And I checked IDs, how old.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I know that's right. I know that's right.
John
Like 58, 56, 57. Right before we met.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
So real quick. And only because. So my ex was 17 years older than me. He was the oldest person that I had ever been with. And it was night and day for things that we did. But I know I brought the youth back to him. I put him onto things. What things did you actually have in common with these younger women or what things excited you about what they could put you onto?
John
I like to go out to the clubs, dancing, very active.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And women your age ain't doing that, huh? Yeah.
Briana
So, yeah, definitely.
John
I was just doing that. I was taking them out. Either the clubs in Jersey, in D.C. here, and just going out. Most of the time it was just a few dates and then bye, bye. Or. And some of them. I don't know if I should say this or not.
Briana
I already know.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Yep, go ahead.
John
Some of them. Some of them were literally, we would make an arrangement. We just kind of like, you know, friends with benefits or f buddies.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh, wait, wait, wait.
John
Yeah, I couldn't believe it either. They would come over to my place and have fun.
Weezy
He laid there. I used to get a speaking arrangement. And I'm curious because when you said the word arrangement, I was like, yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Have you ever been on Seeking Arrangement?
John
No. And it wasn't any kind of paid. It was literally just come over to my place. Either it was the jersey or condo in D.C. have fun. And then bye, bye.
Weezy
Bye.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He said bye, bye. Y' all know I have been going through it with my hair. All the bleach, not getting the right moisture to my scalp.
John
And.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And since switching over to Baskin Lather, let me tell y', all, my hair has never felt so soft and scalp so hydrated. And that's probably because the stimulating scalp and hair balm nourishes and hydrates from the inside out with 100% natural ingredients. Now, when used regularly, users have seen results in as little as three months. They also have a really dope hydrating hair mist that keeps any hair type soft, shiny and hydrated. And ladies, it's 2026. We know the importance of having healthy flourishing locs. Okay? And we can only do that with using the right products. What else I love about Baskin Lather is that they are black owned and family operated. So hair care here starts with family love. The history behind how this brand started is also super dope. When a dermatologist misdiagnosed CEO Shayna's younger sister and said her hair may never grow back, the family basically took things into their own hands. And today her hair is down to her hips. You hear me? So explore the viral bestsellers and products of healthier hair of all types. From Basque and Lather, go to baskinlather co.com and use code decisions for 20% off. Host (possibly Mandy B.)
so I'm curious, when did it get to a point where this was more. You guys started dating? When did the emotion start? Because you were. You've admitted she knew you was a playboy all up and down the east side.
Weezy
He said, this is my first black, you know.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Wait, wait, she wasn't your first.
John
She wasn't my first black.
Weezy
Oh, you said I'd never been with
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
a black woman before the marriage.
John
Before I ended my marriage. Afterwards it was kind of almost exclusive. Black women, I don't know.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay, wait a second.
John
Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And you was meeting them all on
John
me, Mandy, Tinder and Bumblebee. Yeah, I felt, hey, so when we, so when we got hey, hey black men.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
What y' all doing? The black woman said, I want me a 66 year old white man that like to go outside and have fun.
Briana
With both legs, please.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
With both. She actually said he has three legs, y'. All. Yeah.
Weezy
How did it start for you? Was it just like at first? Because to me I feel like if I was divorced after years I'd be like, let me try X, Y, Z. And then I must have.
John
I dated some older women and it just, I don't know, they couldn't keep up with me. They got tired all the time and I just was like. But when we met and started going out and I caught feelings for Briana, I tried to get her to break up with me. Like I tried to direct.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh my God.
John
Cause I didn't want a girlfriend. I was having fun. I didn't want to fall in love because now I'm in love.
Briana
He purposely gave me the password to his phone and he said no hiding yeah. You know, I'm not hiding anything. So if you ever need to use my phone for emergencies, here's my passcode. And you knew you was being a
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
dog up in them text messages?
Briana
Yes, and he wanted me to see it. So weeks went by, I never checked it until we went to the Rammstein concert. Like a month after we met. The whole entire show, he was on his phone. The whole concert, the whole three hours doing this, he was on his phone. So when we went home that night, I'm like, let me go through that phone. Cause what is this? Like, what is he doing now? I have to see what's going on. And I went through his phone that night. I had just texted him that morning. And I had to scroll, looking for my name, looking for my thread in the messages. I'm scrolling, scrolling.
Weezy
Hilarious.
Briana
And he just sat. The whole concert. He was sat there messaging women. Like, planning dates with other women. At the concert. At the concert. We were together for about.
John
No, no, we were just together.
Briana
We were together for a month or so. Barely.
Weezy
Okay.
Briana
At that point it was.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
But you knew. You started liking her.
John
Yeah. Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And you were like, let me self sabotage.
John
Yeah, I was like, let me. She'll go, she'll leave. Like other people have.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And why didn't you leave? I'm curious. One month in, you are enjoying him. Yes. But you see that?
John
She had the most fun she's ever had, actually.
Briana
So last year. And I went. That is true. But when I went through his phone, we didn't talk for a couple of weeks. We did break up, and we did not talk for a couple of weeks because I'm just like, okay, you're playing around. You're all over the place. I'm just, you know, I'm not interested in that.
Weezy
Right.
Briana
My grandfather was really sick at the time. I was taking care of him. He was in hospice, and we were extremely close. So I was dealing with that. And I'm just like, what am I doing? So for a few weeks, we did not talk. And he was blowing up my phone. Like, please, let me just talk to you. Like, can we please? Dah, dah, dah. We met for dinner one day and then he told me, like, you know, I feel like I'm scared, but you're the one for me. I am scared to fall in love with someone, but I want to take that leap with you. I'll change my phone number. I'll get rid of this and do that and dah, dah, dah, dah. And I said, okay, if you can do a, B and C. And we're committing.
Weezy
What was a, B and C?
Briana
Him just being monogamous, being truthful, monogamous and. And just loyal, which is what I wanted at the time because he was very sneaky with a lot of things I was finding a lot of things. He wouldn't tell me. I would just look for it. I would go through his phone in the middle of the night. He would hide his phone in the washer in the house. Or like, remember, he was on my
John
jacket that day on the. On the train.
Briana
I take his jacket one day, going to see my family. I put on his jacket and I'm on the train and I look in the pocket and there's a pair of panties in the pocket, and it wasn't mine. And I'm like. And I take a picture of it and I send them to him. And I'm like, yeah, like, I don't
John
even know whose they are.
Weezy
I'm sure you've heard the term niggas ain't shit. And I'm here to tell all you ladies right now, niggas ain't shit. The white ones, the old ones, the young ones, none of them.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
All of them.
Weezy
Wait a second.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Can I ask you. Her wanting monogamy, were you a monogamous husband? Are you a monogamous person? Did you cheat in your previous marriage? Only because to know that you could juggle so many women and you did enjoy it, and it was fun. When she said she wanted this monogamous relationship, was that something that you wanted and that you've done before?
John
Yeah. So during my marriage, until the very end, I was faithful for years.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Out of the 25?
John
Out of the 25. I started to do stuff when I knew I was leaving.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Which was when?
John
Like in 2018.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Which was how long into the marriage, though?
John
Like 25 years in.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh, okay.
John
Yeah, I was a straight laced guy.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay, so you are a monogamous person.
John
Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
So all the women you were just dating, having fun?
John
Yeah, I was just having fun. And I thought. And for the most part, they were too. There was some of them that got serious, especially the one ex that still contacts me to this day. They've actually met.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Wait a. How did that Brianna look at.
Weezy
Yeah, on accident.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Look at the face. No, she don't like her ex.
John
Wants us to be a threat.
Weezy
Triple.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
She don't like the ex.
Briana
I don't. We tried. So they have a dog. They share a dog from when they were.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Y' all gotta stop sharing cats.
John
Here you go.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Bitch.
Briana
They have a dog that they had when they were together. All right, what happened? Three months after we met, they got another dog together.
John
No, it wasn't that simple.
Briana
Without me knowing. Without me knowing. And I found out going through his phone, and she said that he had another kid.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
On you, girl.
Briana
Yes.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Cause a dog is a baby.
Briana
I know about this one dog, but what is. Who's this goldendoodle? Like, what is this? Like, what's going on?
John
I thought it was over after that. That was a big. That was. Yeah, that was you.
Weezy
Are you a cat person? Is that why you need to get the dog?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
No, I love dogs. She's allergic to pets.
Briana
I'm allergic to dogs. But I love. I love dogs. I love pets. I. I want my own, but I am.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
You know those hypoallergenic ones?
Briana
Yes. And so they have the doodles. They have the doodles, which are hypoallergenic. Yeah. Still. But they had a dog together, and they ended up getting another dog while him and I were together, and she contacted me.
Weezy
Wait, wait, wait. When you say that while him and
John
I were together, the other one found a puppy and said the other one needed a brother. It was supposed to get them together.
Weezy
What's the dog's name?
Briana
Sailor and Hope.
Weezy
Okay. Sailor and Hope.
John
And I just was, like, at that point. Yeah, go ahead. It was a. It's a long story.
Weezy
So how did you end up meeting Sailor and Hope's mom?
Briana
So she messaged me, and she wanted us to get along for the sake of the dogs. And one happened for the sake of the dog. That's what it. That was the premise of her messaging me.
Weezy
This is another black woman.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I was.
Weezy
Yes.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I was about to ask the same question.
Briana
Yes. Around. She's a. She's a year older than me.
John
She's out of D.C. okay.
Briana
But yes. And she messaged me, like, you know. Okay, well, since you're. You're around and you're gonna be around, I would love for us to get together and be one big, happy family for the dogs. And that's what. So the message wasn't rude?
Weezy
It wasn't anything?
John
No, she actually bought her a gift. She sent her a Christmas gift after that.
Briana
Yeah. She was sending me, like, buying me Michael Kors bags. And she don't want no gifts.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
The way I saw her face. She don't want them gifts.
Briana
The bags are cute. The bags are cute, but I don't wear. I don't wear them.
Weezy
When you said Sailor and Hope's bomb. Let's. Let's call her. You had known that she wanted a throuple.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Had.
Weezy
She wanted a throuple while you guys were dating?
John
No, I really didn't know at that point. It happened later when she started to say we would meet. Like, we would. The three of us would meet up. And we actually did. We met in Atlantic City and stayed in the same room. It was very.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Let me. Let me just make this clear because I thought I just missed something. So the ex girlfriend actually wanted a throuple dynamic, but you were someone who wants a monogamous dynamic you don't like to.
Briana
Which that was not relayed to me. They had a conversation about that. I did not know. I just thought that she wanted to be my friend because of the dogs. Like, I had no idea. So she.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh, she thought she was gonna get to stay with him and then have you and the dog.
Weezy
Yeah.
Briana
So she kind of like. And the way she messaged me was off the premise that her and John are just friends and she wants nothing to do with him, but she would love for all of us to hang out for the dogs and all that. I love the dogs. So I just felt like I was like, okay, because I love the dogs. So I was like, okay, yeah, fine. You know, we met in Atlantic City, and I felt like upon me meeting her, she was doing little things, like trying.
Weezy
I knew what she was doing.
Briana
She was. She was trying to one up me and see how many people in his family she met versus how many people I met. Oh, oh, have you met so and so? Remember when I met this person and we had so much fun that night? Did you meet them yet?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
When you have a double dynamic, like, you can't go in that way. Making it a hierarchical thing or making the other woman feel less than.
Weezy
When I see this. Well, many people don't get the opportunity to meet an ex and a girlfriend. I've actually noticed this with my homegirls around. A guy they like and the new girlfriend. Maybe they've never been with a guy, but they've always had eyes on him. Oh, my God. You know he hates drinking margaritas.
Briana
I can't believe you're drinking margaritas.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
When do you talk about this? Yeah, shut the up.
John
Yeah, a few things. Like, she called me baby daddy straight out the door.
Briana
As soon as we got to the casino, because we hung out at the Hard Rock Casino and walked around and this down the third. As soon as we saw her, first thing she says to John, hey, baby daddy. And I'm like, I'm standing right behind them. Like, who the fuck is she talking to? I'm just like, am I not here? I'm very confused. Like, I just.
John
What was the other comment she made that made you mad?
Briana
We went out to dinner. We went out to dinner and we were smoking joints. So when John gets high, he has no filter. And I know that's. Right.
Weezy
There's more to this.
Briana
There's more. But when John gets high, he has no filter. So we go out to dinner and we just had a couple joints. And so John starts mentioning, oh, I shouldn't have had that doobie. Cause you know how I get. He gets real horny. So he's like, oh, you know how I get. I shouldn't have smoked it. She looks over the table, oh, Little J. Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
She got a nickname for it.
John
And then I was like, oh, well,
Weezy
if Big J was over bitch when I'm with it.
Briana
And I said, yeah, we don't call him that anymore. I was like, yeah, we don't use that name and we won't call them that anymore. But the day was ruined from there.
John
We stayed in the same room.
Weezy
Two beds.
John
Yeah.
Briana
I don't know who booked the room, what the situation.
Weezy
I don't.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
John, what you was trying to get.
John
I thought that maybe there would have been a possibility, but quickly, when they met, I was like, this was a bad idea. So I didn't even try anything now in the future.
Weezy
Right. So, like, obviously this shit wouldn't work.
John
Yeah, yeah.
Weezy
Would you be willing to try any kind of trio, an app, like Field, or some kinky things as far as bringing other people in?
Briana
Him and I have talked about it, and I would be open to it. Like, we do have a. I wouldn't say like a sexually exotic life, but we have gone to, like, sex conventions, strip clubs. We go to strip clubs together. You know, he. We get lap dances together. We do things like that. So I am. I have been open to including another person into our relationship. Not his ex, but I have been open to that. And we actually dated another couple. It was the same interracial age gap couple. It was a black woman, an older white guy.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Wait a second, wait a second.
John
But nothing happened? No.
Paramount Plus Announcer
Okay.
John
We met them. But you met them.
Briana
But.
John
But it didn't.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Where did you meet them?
John
We met him online.
Briana
We met online and then we had lunch with them.
Weezy
Wait, you mean a double date?
Briana
So it was a double date? Yeah, but it was.
John
It was.
Briana
It was just a double date. It was to kind of meet each other and see, like, was he his hot Sean.
Weezy
What was it? No, no.
Briana
I don't think they were really into it. They weren't really into it.
John
He was an older.
Briana
He wasn't in as great shape as John is. He wasn't as attractive as John is. And the woman was beautiful, but I just felt like the guy was uncomfortable with John the way they were off.
John
Remember, the guy kind of didn't like her.
Briana
He gave vibes. Like, he didn't really like her. Yeah, like. Cause we were asking them, like, how did you guys meet? Like, what was. John asked the guy? What was it about her that made you want to date her? And he was just like.
John
He didn't really.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
What?
Briana
Like, he didn't really have anything to say. He had nothing to say.
Weezy
They got in a fight in the car, probably.
Briana
Yeah, probably.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Now both of your families approve of it. What is it like to go out in public? Like, what is it like for a waiter to come to the table? Or do you guys feel eyes when you go to the clubs? Like, what is it like when people actually are looking at you as a black woman, as an older white man? Like, what is it like in public?
John
You get a lot of looks good and bad, and you could tell the difference.
Briana
Yeah, we could tell the difference. Predominantly, we do get a lot of people that come up to us. They love our vibe. They love how we dance together. They love how we look together. For the most part, it is very positive. But there are, you know, the. The side eyes and the whispers. So we went to a Trina concert last night, and once it started to get crowded, because we got there a little early, and we were having drinks before people really came. But once it started to get crowded and Trina hit the stage, there were. I kind of looked around, and there were people just, like, looking at us, like, in their groups, like friend groups, and they're all, like.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Out of the two of you with this interracial, like, dynamic, which of you feels more uncomfortable with the stares? Like, do you think you're being stared at because you're this young black woman? Or do you feel like you're being stared at because you're an older white man with, like.
Weezy
I have a guess.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
You know what I mean?
John
Yeah. I don't really. I don't really care or notice. And I think it's. I've always been like that. And I think that's why my family doesn't see anything, because I've always done kind of the extraordinary or things that people didn't expect. Like, when I was growing Up. I was the first one out of my whole extended family. I just said, one day I'm. I'm going to college and I'm joining the military by. And just did it. And everybody's like, what? So I. They kind of expect.
Briana
A lot of the times, he really didn't notice it until recently. Like, a lot of the stares and the reactions we get, he never noticed. I'm very aware of stuff like that. I'm very aware of my surroundings, of energy and the atmosphere that I'm in. I'm very aware of that. So I can catch it immediately. As soon as we walk in the door, I'm like, okay, this person's cool. That person doesn't like us too much. Like, I can kind of. I kind of feel that he never noticed that before until I started bringing it to his attention. Like, oh, hey, remember we were at the club last night and this person was staring or this person has this text that you come up.
Weezy
Is it black men? Black women?
Briana
I would say between older white women and older black men.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay, yeah.
Weezy
But you know what? Older black men. I will at least say this part. I think we're so used to seeing women get taken advantage of, and we can't not highlight that. Then maybe it's like we're wondering, is someone. Okay, are they. Is this, like, at will? Like, you get nervous, right?
Briana
Yeah.
Weezy
You got shows like Age of Attraction, which shows you consensual, interracial. I mean, inter. Not interracial. Age gap dating. Yeah, but then there's this thing of, like, okay, you've got Epstein. It's all highlighted. Like, you could look like you're 17, 18.
John
I think the difference is if people see us together interacting, then they're like, oh, yeah, they know. Like, when we're out in the club,
Briana
when you see us dancing at the club, it's like, they make sense.
John
We really dance well together, which was another reason why we clicked, because I love to dance. And when we dance, he's a great dancer.
Weezy
What kind of club? I need to know now.
John
When we dance, it's like we've taken lessons, and people think. Sometimes people think we're professionals. Sometimes they think we're with the entertainment. And so.
Briana
And he goes along with it. He's like, yeah, I'm on Broadway. I've done this, I've done that. He just goes along with it.
Weezy
It's like that.
Briana
He goes along with it. But, yeah, we have such a great time together. I think when people see us online, it's like, who the Fuck are these guys? But then when you see us in person, especially when we're dancing together, it's like, oh, they make sense. They're really cute.
Weezy
Where does your age gap show the most? Is it in arguments? Is it like, when you're discussing politics?
John
Like, yeah, politics is off limits.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I was gonna get.
Weezy
Why did you vote for Trump?
John
I didn't vote for him, but I'm conservative and I'm retired military.
Weezy
You're conservative and you're dating a young black girl in New Jersey?
John
I mean, I'm conservative from kind of a financial standpoint and that, but I'm open to. People should believe what they want. People should be able to do what they want. But I'm very pro the United States. Like, I've served the country for 20 years.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I get that. I was going to ask that because of the age dynamic, the time that you grew up in compared to the time she's growing up in. I mean, segregation had just kind of ended. Women's. You saw women get rights, voting rights and all those things. Like, are those conversations that y' all have had what it is?
Briana
It is
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
not that old, but it
Weezy
sounds like it's old news.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
But it's not. No, no, but it is.
Briana
Yeah, exactly.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He was alive during that. I mean, like. Like, I mean, because it wasn't actually that far removed and so, like.
Weezy
No, I know.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Like, my mom, 74. My mom was 6. Like, you're old. Way older than my mom. No shade. So, like, you were even before her. No, no, no. 1974. But, yeah, you're, like, over 10 years older than my mom. So I'm like, I know the time that she grew up in. I know that you, being a girl in your 20s, you didn't even have the experience of me in my 90s. Like, you are, like, your life is so liberal. So to be with someone who's conservative, to be with someone who's seen laws change and times change. I'm curious. And it's. That's shocking to me, though, that even your family is approving of this because of age more than, I guess, race, too, but is because of age.
John
I think it's because of. Because of me. I think it's because of how I was when I was growing up. Again, I wasn't the ordinary person that did what other people did.
Briana
So it's really not a shock to his family. Like, he got divorced and started dating younger women. They were like, yeah, we saw that coming.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
But younger black ones, yeah, like, they.
Briana
I feel like they kind of Saw that from him. And because I was so young, already dating older, older men, my family was just like, okay, that's what she does.
Weezy
The judgment, I feel like I would assume would come from two things. You think everybody's having a midlife crisis? The, the black or the age. What do you think amongst your friend, group and family is more shocking for them?
Briana
The age.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I would say the age.
Weezy
Age.
John
But. But the funny thing is, like, if we go out partying, I party more. I could go home.
Briana
You can't keep up. I can't.
Weezy
Are you from New York?
John
No, I'm from Jersey. North Jersey. Bayonet. Jersey City.
Weezy
Jersey City.
John
But I don't know why.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
There we go. There we go. He's been partying hard his whole life.
John
I mean, I've always had really unlimited energy. And when I was younger, in my 20s and 30s, I would only like, sleep two hours a night, three hours a night.
Briana
Still.
John
Still. I don't sleep that much. We'll go out, party. We went on party tonight. I danced.
Briana
Party night. So we go. We saw Trina last night.
Weezy
House music. What the fuck can you dance to that long.
John
We dance to every house entry.
Briana
Yeah, yeah.
John
Swing. Oh, I love a good ballroom.
Briana
Yeah. Now do everything.
Weezy
So, okay, so politics is off the table for you too now when it comes to maybe an argument, do you feel like sometimes he just doesn't get it? Or the moments where you feel like you're too young to get it, like, almost become like we do, because I
John
think we have arguments a lot of times and she, she might have assumptions about me. And I just think to myself, does she realize I'm this old? I've served 20 years in the military. Like, I've been a commander. I've commanded people. I've, I've argued in court. I've done all this stuff. And I'm thinking, does she really think I'm that naive?
Briana
The difference comes with a lot of, like, he's a lot more structured and he has a routine. He gets up at 4am every single day. He works out. He does like, he does all of that. I'm a lot more laid back. I don't worry about time.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Very Gen Z. Yeah.
Briana
Like, I don't. I don't worry about time. If I got to be somewhere at this time, I'll get there when I get there. And he's very like, anal about certain things where I'm a lot more chill and laid back. And I think sometimes we have a lot of friction with that. So I am a lot More cognizant now of when we're getting ready and we're going somewhere. If he says we're leaving the house at 11 o', clock, I need to make sure I'm not walking out the door at 11:01. Cause he gets very, like, overwhelmed and annoyed.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh my God. Maybe I'm 62. I operate the same way.
Briana
I'm an Aries.
John
I'm a Sagittarius.
Weezy
Okay.
John
But I've gotten more relaxed on that now than I did.
Weezy
Well, of course you have. You got to keep. You got to.
Briana
So I'm a lot more tightened up with that. And he's more late.
John
Like Katrina concert. We were supposed to leave. It's 5:45. We didn't leave till 6:30.
Briana
Yeah.
John
And I was like, oh, well, in the morning.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
No, in the evening, girl, it's a concert. Oh, oh, leave the house.
John
Yeah, leave the house, ma'. Am.
Weezy
I'm like, leave the concert. Join the state on stage. That long.
Briana
Doors open at 7. He's like, yeah, let's leave around this time.
Weezy
I'm almost listening too hard.
Briana
Yeah.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Y' all know I have been going through it with my hair, all the bleach, not getting the right moisture to my scalp. We know the importance of having healthy, flourishing locks. So explore the viral bestsellers and products of healthier hair of all types of from Basque and lather. Go to baskinlatherco.com and use code decisions for 20 off. That's 20 off at bask and lather co.com code decisions.

Weezy
How do you make sure that you're making her feel equal? Because are you married now?
Briana
We're still engaged. I call him my husband, but we're engaged.
John
We're engaged.
Weezy
So talking about things like, I'm gonna be honest with you, if I was dating someone much younger, even working with people that are younger and if I start talking about money, I'm like what the fuck do you know? I'm not saying out loud, but it
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
comes to my head just so she's thinking that about y'.
Briana
All.
Weezy
But you know it comes to your head a little bit and I'm curious, like, when it comes to financial decision making, different things, like, how do those conversations go?
Briana
I'm still learning a lot. When it comes to finance.
John
Yeah, I finances.
Briana
I'm learning a lot. I'm like, how much is your monthly expensive? What? Like, it blows my mind.
Weezy
Do you do like the homemaker stuff? Are you a gender roles? Like, what's your house?
Briana
I kind of do. I do feel like a homemaker. I decorate the house. I make the house a home. You know, she cooks once in a while. We're renovating our house in Sea Bright now. I do like to cook.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
What's your favorite meal of hers that she does cook?
John
She makes this really awesome Mac and cheese from scratch.
Weezy
No, Steve, did you shock to anybody?
Briana
Baked Mac and cheese with.
John
You know what she does really good. Everything we cook, she knows how to spice it up. We had salmon on the grill.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
The water's wet.
Weezy
John.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I like spicy food, but we know that's what she knows how to do.
Briana
He didn't really know much about seasoning before he met. He didn't know about seasoning.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Please don't say two seasons.
John
Sometimes she goes overboard, though.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Does she go overboard? Listen, John, I get it. I live in Atlanta. Sometimes I be like, yeah, hey, God damn, that's a lot of salt in that thing.
John
And she loves pepper. So sometimes I'm like, there's more pepper in here than meat.
Weezy
Okay. That's actually.
John
I'm like, what?
Weezy
Okay, I've got another question about age. If you met Briana at 35 instead of 25, do you think you would still have pursued her?
John
No.
Weezy
Why?
John
Because at 35, I was so hyper and beyond. She would have never been able to stand.
Weezy
No, no, no.
Briana
You mean if I was 35?
John
Yeah. No, if she was 35, I. Yeah, I would have been.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
To me, I wonder, it's still like an almost 30 year gap. Yeah.
Weezy
But I'm curious, as if. If sometimes it's the innocence of the age. Like I've heard someone say once when I was on a date with someone older, he was in his 50s and I was in my 20s at the time. And he said dating 20 women in their 20s, it's so much better because they haven't been infected by heartbreak and X, Y, Z. Do you think there's a purity almost of having lived less life?
John
There is somewhat. But what I found dating a lot of younger women, it was funny because it was like they were dating me for fun or I was a novelty. But then. And they would be the ones that wanted to get serious. And I'd be like, with me, I'd be like, they'd be 23 or 22 and start talking about kids. And I'd be with me now, oh no, that's not good. So it was strange. Like, it's strange of how it was. And a lot of times I would be the one wanting to go out and they'd want to stay home. Even with us sometimes.
Briana
Yeah, we should.
John
Like one of our first.
Briana
I'm a homebody. Really.
John
Our first big date. We came into the city and we were gonna do a Broadway show, dinner and a whole bunch of stuff. So I parked the car, remember, at like one in the afternoon. And the guy goes to me, what time will you pick it up? And I said, probably around 3:00am and she was like, what?
Briana
He was like, 3:00am, it's one in the afternoon. And he's like, yeah, we'll get the car at three in the morning.
Weezy
What time we get the car?
John
I think we made it like two.
Briana
Like two in the morning. Yeah.
Weezy
So you can't really keep up with him.
John
She cannot.
Briana
I try.
Weezy
Now, have you thought, and I'm sure maybe a friend would have asked this question, because I would. One of my girlfriends right now is mid-30s dating someone 66. And he's similar to you, working out every day Runner, cute, fun, whatever. But I keep saying to her, okay, but in 10 years he's in his 70s and 10 years in his 70s, how are your friends approaching those conversations? And what's your relationship like with your girlfriends right now when they push on that?
Briana
My relationship with my friends are very strong. But when it does come to my relationship with John Fuck em, it, it does cause a strain to where they feel like, why are you doing that? Also, you're not asking him for money. You're not getting this. You don't, you're not getting that. You're not asking him for that. What are you doing? You're missing the plot. He was just supposed to be a good time. And with me it's just like, yeah, he's a great time, but I'm also looking for something meaningful with purpose. And I don't really care for him to fund my business or for him, the things that I like. I just never really cared about that right now.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
To know that that is so much of the narrative. Like Wolf is here. We just had this whole conversation on Patreon about the manosphere and things like that, but women literally leaning into, well, what is he doing for you? How much is he spending. When you genuinely love this man, when y' all are making future plans. And. And to me, I'm looking at timelines different now, even with age. I have a friend right now who's battling a health thing in her 30s that will not make it to your age, John. So to know that that's how they're coming at him when this appears to be so genuine is like, damn, are we really dating for. Are we really dating men for what they can do for us, or do we even like men? I know that the conversation is always like, do men even like women anymore? But to know that this is the conversation amongst so many friends. Well, what is he doing for you, girl? What are.
Briana
What are you getting?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
What are you getting? And it's like, so you don't care that I actually care about this person and that he cares about me. So I hate that those are the conversations with your friends, but they're being had way more often than they should be.
Briana
Yeah, absolutely. That would be the only strain in my relationship. I have two friends in particular. They're both Dominicans, and they do feel like, what are you doing? What are you getting? If you not. If he not signing your name on this, that, and the third, and put you in the wheel, then what are you doing? And I'm just like, eh. I'm just like, I don't really care about those things. Like, I care about him as a person. He treats me well, he treats me as a grown woman. He doesn't treat me like a kid. He doesn't treat me like I'm 33 years younger than him.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Do you work?
Briana
Not right now.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay.
Briana
No.
Weezy
Why is that the. Is that not enough for you to. But I'm surprised your friends to me, like, if I'm staying home to take care of our house and that's not enough. Like, do you need now need to do more? Like, for the most part, women being able to stay home and pursue other things that they want to do, not be at a 9 to 5, not be in the city, not be exhausted.
John
I mean, that's why we have our milk and melon, because we're trying to do content.
Briana
And he doesn't want me to work actually, because when I met him, I was working two jobs in retail. And even when we moved in together on the shore, I was working at the hardware store down there. Like just to kind of like do something while I'm getting acquainted to the town and moving in. He does not want me to work. Why don't you want to Work.
Weezy
She want to take care of her?
John
No, because I think she could do so much more than work.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And he don't want her to be tired.
Weezy
No, no, no.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He out till 3am in the morning. She gotta keep up.
Briana
If I'm working from like 8 to 6 and he's like, let's go to the club at 7. I'm like, oh, no.
John
Like, also, we take trips together. Like, I have a business trip in Seattle. He's gonna come with me.
Briana
Yeah. So I travel a lot.
John
We were in Disney World.
Weezy
What kind of business do you do today?
John
So I work for the government and I run this technology transfer office that does deals with intellectual property and licensing. So I'm a patent attorney, engineer and stuff like that.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
There we go, right?
Briana
PhD. PhD.
John
I have a PhD in law.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
That's right, doctor.
John
Call me dancer.
Weezy
No wonder you party Art.
Briana
Yeah, well, I feel like.
Weezy
Like I have two that I really want before we go.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Okay.
Weezy
I need to know not you youu've been around the block.
John
I have been.
Weezy
I want to know a kink that you've experienced today that you didn't experience the past or something you realize you're really into now that you're 62. Uncomfortable. We have a segment called Kink of the Week. And I'm always really excited about hearing about everyone's kink. And you said your relationship is very sexually explorative. So.
John
So I don't. I don't know if it's really a kink, but with Brianna especially. And I actually call her Ty because her first name is Ty.
Briana
My middle name is by Brianna.
Weezy
Okay. Yeah.
John
I'm very insatiable. Like I'm very all the time to
Briana
the 24, seven, every day, non stop. And I'm like, get away from me.
John
Yeah.
Briana
Yeah.
Weezy
How many times a week do you need to have sex?
Briana
I mean, at least four times a day.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Four times a day?
John
You don't anymore? Because she's cut me off.
Briana
We used to do that and I just can't. I'm just like maybe once a day. We could do once a day now and then. Four times.
Weezy
Like, are you coming every time?
John
Yeah, pretty much. Yeah.
Weezy
Get the.
Briana
He's very insane.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Four times a day. Wait, how long does four times a day last?
Briana
The first two years, I would say the first two and a half years.
John
But I've always been like that. But with her it's at a different level.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He said her all the time. They got to go to the bathroom
Weezy
after she said I need to put milk in the melanin?
John
Yeah. So.
Briana
So out of the four years, the first two and a half years, we were going at it several times a day. And then this past year, I'm like, okay, that. I can't keep up with that. That's not healthy. I can't do it anymore.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
But it is healthy.
Briana
It is healthy.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
It's exercise.
Briana
It got to the point where it's like, I'm doing it just because you want it, and it's not because I'm into it. So now it's like.
John
And not to get into details, but it's not like it's quick. Like, it's. It's a. It's a. It's a.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
No, get to. Okay, real quick. What do you do for that? So, like, like, I've dated an older guy, and he used to do, like, beet juice and all these, like, like natural things to allow for blood flow. You. You don't do anything but work out. And you could just go like that.
John
Yeah, yeah.
Briana
He doesn't take anything surprising. Yeah, he doesn't. A lot of people are shocked by that, but he doesn't.
Weezy
This is the only thing I don't all the way.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I mean.
Briana
Yeah, he really does.
John
Well, you know what they say about a guy that could dance good.
Weezy
I guess he could fuck Johnson.
Briana
That's what I'm saying.
John
And now I recognize. My mom used to always say that. Always be good dancer. And she'd say to my sisters, go with a guy who could dance good. And I always thought, because you do something. But no, she was talking about, yeah, where's John's mom? It's true.
Weezy
Do you have a final question for them?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Ah, I mean, for me it was. I mean, I asked you what you use, but being on this earth for so long, having been through a marriage, having now been spicing it up with someone that's completely new. Do you have a tip? Like, we used to also have a segment called hors d'. Oeuvre. Do you have a tip on either. Either longevity or, like, keeping it spicy after a while? You're already four years in. You've said, you know, you said you want balance, but how do you keep the spice in?
John
I mean, I think we keep the spice in by we love to go out and party. And we had stopped there for a little while in the winter when the weather was really bad. And I think that affected us, really, the need to do that.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
So those are like date nights, essentially.
John
Yeah. We thrive on that connection. Cause again, when we danced that first time it was like, I've never danced before.
Briana
That's kind of a lot of our intimacy is us dancing together. That's where a lot of our.
Weezy
I'm gonna need y' all to post a video. You dance.
John
Like, the first night we went on that long date, we were dancing out, and people came up to us that thought we were professionals. And I said she was a professional dancer and I was retired. And they believed us. They were calling people over, not y'.
Briana
All role playing, like, asking for autographs and everything.
John
What's our favorite movie? I mean, music.
Weezy
Anything really to dance to in the club. Like, if you're going to this club, like, if this kind of music is on, it's.
John
I like Latin music.
Briana
Yeah, he loves Bad Bunny. Like, when that comes out in the club. J Balvin. When J. Balvin and Bad Bunny comes on Azuna. He loves that.
Weezy
Okay.
Briana
And when it comes, like, me personally, I just love hip hop in general. So when we were at the Cardi B concert, like, a week ago, two weeks ago, when we saw Cardi B throwing it back, this, that, and third, I just loved that. Like, I loved that. Yeah, we were dancing there.
Weezy
I'm gonna need you guys to get a. Have someone film you. This episode will come out a few weeks from.
John
We have clips of us dancing.
Weezy
I need it.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
We gonna insert. We gonna. You said professional.
Weezy
I need. I need to see it.
John
We have.
Briana
Yeah. Cause we do have a page on. We do have videos on our page of us dancing. There's one in particular. He was giving me a lap dance, and he won the contest. Cause he took his shirt off and was doing all.
John
Then I wrapped his shirt around her neck.
Briana
Yeah, so we do have that on our page.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Oh, y' all are lit.
John
Yeah, y' all are lit.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I love this.
Weezy
Well, tell us us how people could find you and what would be the best way to support you. I know you guys are working on your brand together, so tell us.
Briana
Yes.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
So we.
Briana
Right now we have YouTube and we have Instagram, Milk in melanin on everything. Milk Instagram.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Yeah.
Briana
We have a TikTok. I haven't updated it yet, but I got to get on that. We have tick tock, YouTube, Instagram, working on the Facebook. But Milk in melanin and is.
John
She won't do. Only fans with me.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Wait, you want to do. Only feel he wants to do everything.
John
Retire soon.
Briana
Yeah, he's retiring.
Weezy
Is this your first interview together?
Briana
Yes, actually.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Yeah. When y' all do Onlyfans, we need to have y' all back a Horrible decision.
Weezy
Like, so when your dick was here.
Briana
Let's talk about this right there.
Weezy
Wow. It was really fun to talk to you.
John
And yeah, it went by fat.
Weezy
Yes, very interesting. And I, I'm really curious also at how many people would connect with you that listen to this show that say, like, hey, I'm also in an age gap.
John
We've had that already right.
Briana
On our Instagram. So we just made our Instagram page last September.
Weezy
That was it. I found you already.
Briana
Yeah, you found us like a month after we made that page. Like almost immediately.
Weezy
I told you what I was looking
Briana
at, which was his idea. Us even being on social media was completely his idea.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Wow.
Briana
I didn't want to do it because I'm like, oh, we're gonna have to deal with people talking shit.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
7 year old didn't get the social media.
John
Interesting.
Briana
I didn't want to do it. He's like, let's do it. People would love us. And now you love it. Now I enjoy it. And there's actually other interracial agenc. Like there was a woman, there was a younger Black woman, she's 23. She emailed me. Well, she messaged me on instagram in the DM and said that she's dating a 57 year old man. Her family's not supportive. His family's not supportive. She never posted him. But how can she be more comfortable in the relationship?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
And what was your advice?
Briana
My advice to her was, if that's the man that you love and he makes you happy, don't even worry about what anyone has to think. Say how they look at you, how they treat you. That doesn't matter. Matter, because how you feel about yourself at the end of the day, when you look in the mirror, you're with someone who makes you happy. And you are happy within yourself. It doesn't matter what's going on externally. I was like, don't even worry about that. I was like, your family doesn't like it, his family doesn't like it, you're scared to post. I was like, just do it. Like, just live your life and be happy. Don't even worry about that.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Live your life and be happy.
John
I can tell you the reason why I got the idea was because whenever we're out, especially dancing, we've had one time, you know the song Tootsie Roll? So she was twerking on me on a cruise and the entire place, the entire place surrounded us where we were in the middle, like we draw.
Briana
I wish we had those videos. There's videos of us that I haven't even seen. But I wish we had those.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Do you know the song?
John
We could monetize this.
Weezy
First of all, we are from Florida, right?
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
That's the jam.
John
That's my jam now too.
Weezy
That's your jam. 60 year old in the wall.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
He said that is his gym now. Well, thank y' all so, so, so much.
Briana
Yeah, this was great for having us. Thank you so much for having us.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
This was a good time to see how quick that went.
John
John. Yeah, it did.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
It's cause y' all are both really mad. They're like, why didn't you ask that?
John
And I'm, I'm a talker. I could talk.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
I'm really mad because I'm like there was anything else.
John
But no, don't get me hot.
Host (possibly Mandy B.)
Thank you guys so much and y'.
Weezy
All.

Guests: John & Breyonna (“Milk & Melanin”)
This episode of "Decisions, Decisions" dives deeply into the world of non-traditional relationships—specifically, the dynamics of an interracial, age gap couple. Special guests John (62, white, retired military and patent attorney) and Breyonna (29, Black, content creator) of "Milk & Melanin" share their candid story, exploring everything from how they met, facing public and familial scrutiny, the intersection of generational and cultural differences, and keeping their romance thriving against stereotype and expectation.
"I looked in the mirror...I was like, yeah, this ain’t gonna work out. But then the day came and I thought, ah, free lunch." (16:53, Breyonna)
"We uploaded a video...and everyone’s like, she’s lying. She’s not 28. He’s not 61." (06:00, Breyonna)
“That’s kind of a lot of our intimacy, is us dancing together.” (65:53, Breyonna)
“At least four times a day.” (63:12, Breyonna)
“You don’t anymore because she’s cut me off.” (63:14, John)
“Everyone’s like, oh, is he rich? ... How fucking annoying must it be that everyone’s like, oh, is he rich?” (05:05, Weezy)
“If that's the man that you love and he makes you happy, don't even worry about what anyone has to think...how you feel about yourself at the end of the day, when you look in the mirror, you're with someone who makes you happy.” (69:00, Breyonna)
On stereotypes:
“Niggas ain’t shit. The white ones, the old ones, the young ones, none of them.” (33:02, Weezy)
On being themselves:
“People would love us...other interracial age gap couples reach out, looking for community or advice.” (68:34, John & Breyonna)
On their connection:
“When we’re dancing together, people think we’re professionals…We thrive on that connection.” (44:32, John; 65:46, John)
On generational dynamics:
“He’s very structured...I’m a lot more laid back. Sometimes we have a lot of friction with that.” (49:14, Briana)
When John gave up his playboy ways:
“I tried to get her to break up with me...I didn’t want to fall in love because now I’m in love.” (30:07, John)
"Milk & Melanin" shatters assumptions around age gap and interracial relationships. Through openness, humor, and reflection, John and Breyonna showcase how true compatibility, lived joyfully and unapologetically, trumps outdated social scripts—inviting listeners to “live your life and be happy.”
“Love is not a one-size-fits-all, baby.” (70:21, Mandii B.)
