I took Spanish starting in eighth grade, all the way through high school and a year in college.

So the fact that you started at a middle school. Spanish for me wasn't an elective until high school. And I didn't take it until my junior, my maybe sophomore and junior year.

A 26 year old man last week in Wales was arrested after authorities say he climbed onto the roof of a hospital dressed like the Grim Reaper, silently staring down at patients, visitors and staff for nearly an hour. Police say that Leon Gillespie stood above the hospital entrance wearing an all black hooded costume while holding what appeared to be a long blade. Officers and firefighters responded and the situation lasted about 50 minutes before he actually was taken into custody. He later pleaded guilty to causing a nuisance or disturbance on hospital property without a reasonable excuse. No explanation was given in court for why he dressed in the costume or climbed on the roof. And when I saw this, I laughed.

That's a wild boy.

Because our world is so dark in itself, I think we should accept dark humor.

This to me, I was like, yo, maybe he had a day off. I don't know what crossed his mind to say, I'm gonna go stand on a hospital rooftop dressed as the Grim Reaper and raise havoc.

and you see the Grim Reaper.

At some point you're gonna be like.

So imagine you're in your hospital bed, who knows?

And he. No, he, he stood there, he stood there for almost an hour. And when I read this, I was like, you know what? This is funny. I don't think it should have been a crime to do something funny.

I think the only reason it might have been a crime, Cause it's like, are you trespassing? How did you get up there? Are you trespassing?

He could have been a visitor.

Did he go up there with the bag and put on the clothes? Or were they able to navigate with Christ?

Well, he didn't get a trespassing charged. He got a nuisance to society.

So what's funny is it is from Europe. So the visual concept of the Grim Reaper started in the 14th century Europe during the Black Death. While the exact name Grim Reaper first appeared in English print. So it's from like a book.

That makes sense.

The iconic look of death as a skeleton with a tool came from a time of massive plague and high loss of life. So it's. It's symbolic. The name Grim Reaper is from an 1847 print. Menzies used the phrase Grim Reaper in the circle of human life. So it's not. It's a mythical creature. It's not attached to religious beliefs. So if you see the Grim Reaper, babe, it's a costume.

Like, see, here we go with the selective ignorance. If you don't know that the Grim Reaper is this Fantasy, like, it's literally a symbol. As she's getting pulled over, as they ask for her license and registration, she's like, just want to let you know I have Tourette's before anything, because while she's getting. And as he's getting pulled over, he like. As he gets asked for his license and registration. Cause he was speeding. The cop even says, do you know you were going to. Yes, sir. Okay, I'm gonna reach for my license of registration. Just wanna let you know I have Tourette's. As soon as he goes to reach in and hand it, he's like, fuck, wake up. And starts like. Starts like sticking up his little figure and doing these things. And so as the cop is there, he's like, fuck white people. And just starts yelling. Now, you know, oh, yes, I'm a nigga. And starts literally saying all these things. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. I'm not even gonna lie in the video, mind you. I am repeating the video. This is not me making fun of people with Tourette's. Again, selective ignorance. Welcome. So as he does it, and the cop is looking at his license and registration, he's doing all of these movements to where literally the cop says, well, sir, this is just gonna be a warning. Thank you so much. I'm gonna let you get on your way. So a black man and a white woman both. Mind you, the black man did not have Tourette's, but he saw it work. He filmed himself doing it. And it's him acting like he has Tourette's during a traffic stop. And it worked. But literally, that's pretty impressive. He was literally yelling, fuck you, white cop. This with his thumb, like, doing this. Cause the white woman also, which is weird, hers was the middle finger and saying, fuck. Shit, she was cursing, right?

That's a valid question. Again, another ignorant thought I'm not sure about. You know what? That might be a valid question to ask. I can't. I don't know what this is going to be.

Well, because. So I have a sibling with epilepsy, right? She Cannot drive. She cannot get a license.

She cannot operate a vehicle.

Because she has epilepsy. So seeing that Tourette's not only takes control of your verbal speaking, but also there's flinches in your mobility, in your physical movements, I was like, okay, we're both of these kids. But the white woman didn't seem like it. And clearly the black man literally was like, I'm gonna see if this works for me.

How did you. And I saw it on the Internet, right?

But I was just like, I got an ignorant question. Uh, oh, well, nigga, we don't know, so hopefully we gonna have an ignorant answer.

I'm gonna call my friend. Cause you're not gonna talk to me like this. And his homeboy comes up, also another blind man. So they just start swinging.

So I'm not gonna lie. It's crazy because, you know, like, we talk about protecting women and children. There is a level of grace, I think, that is given to people with certain disabilities.

And I don't know. I'm not gonna lie, akin. I don't know how many other things you can get in trouble for that aren't actual causes to humanity that you could technically get away with. Like, you can't rob a bank or a grocery store and then say you have Tourette's like, that doesn't get you out of it. You know what I mean?

I'm gonna get the actual story for y' all because this was like, ooh, interesting. So getting killed at a tent. There is a 75 year old customer who went through the drive through, didn't like the service she received, so went into. Went inside to confront the employee that gave her bad service. The employee called the supervisor to come and de escalate the situation.

[Narrator/Advertiser Voice]

Okay.

[Jason Rodriguez]

And. But during this moment, the customer shoved and hit the supervisor which then led to a brawl.

[Aaron A. King]

Sure.

[Jason Rodriguez]

Well, during this brawl, the 75 year old woman started having heart palpitations which led to the ambulance being called, which led to her death.

[Aki (Super Producer)]

That's.

[Jason Rodriguez]

Yeah. So there were conversations as to whether or not the supervisor of this coffee shop got charged with murder. Well.

[Jason Rodriguez]

You ready?

[Aki (Super Producer)]

No way.

She did not.

[Jason Rodriguez]

So it actually ended up being. Even though the confrontation became physical, the medical examiner reportedly found no significant injuries from the altercation and said that they could not determine with reasonable medical certainty whether this physical confrontation caused her death because she had pre existing congestive heart failure. So this was a real fuck around and find out. But baby, you shouldn't have been getting it. If you have heart issues, you shouldn't be letting your blood pressure get that high to where you getting into physical, you know, things with people. But yeah, it makes me think of that.

You gotta know if you're physically fit to have an altercation with somebody. If you think that you might be a little over the hill, you might be a little out of shape, your cardio is up to snuff, then you should probably just treat people with respect.

Oh, I'm not gonna lie. This is why again and I hate that I. I feel like once a month, I bring up gun laws. This is why I don't feel like people should have guns. Because the niggas who don't have the health to fight just go straight for the weapon. Cause you wanna be disrespectful? You wanna get loud with me? And now I gotta protect myself. Cause I ain't got them hands or I ain't got the time to have my heart race so fast. Damn. But, yeah, tricky. It's funny because all of these led to clearly ignorant thoughts this week, but let's get into this. This is America. Jon, give us the update on the Nolan Wells case and the most recent update on the autopsy report.

[Aaron A. King]

So at this time, the official autopsy has been completed, and the findings of that autopsy have been sent to the grand jury for vetting as to whether or not there should be a criminal case.

[Jason Rodriguez]

Okay.

[Aaron A. King]

The chief of police and I believe the district attorney said that the protocol in this county is that all homicides see a grand jury and then the information is released to the public.

[Jason Rodriguez]

Okay.

[Aaron A. King]

But they use the grand jury first to find out whether there's a crime committed or not. So that, I guess, that the jury pool isn't tainted or that they have an accurate representation of what's going on before the public just sees everything and decides what it is first. Okay, so there has been no new information in regards to the second autopsy either, because they still don't have all the information out yet. So whether or not they actually found anything new is still up in the air. Now, there was a pathologist who did an interview with TMZ. Her name is. I think her name is Dr. Keisha Davis.

Let me make sure I get her name right.

[Aaron A. King]

She spoke to tmz, and she was basically explaining what her job is and trying to inform the public about what it takes to do an autopsy. Now, she did say that a second autopsy is like doing an autopsy with a blindfold on, because the first autopsy, they've dissected the organs.

[Jason Rodriguez]

And they have all the organs.

[Aaron A. King]

They have all the organs. They've taken stuff out. They've done dissection. So you're not getting the exact same thing that the medical examiner got.

So this is common practice?

[Aaron A. King]

Yeah, she's saying this is common practice.

In Mississippi or in general?

[Aaron A. King]

No, in general. She's saying this is common practice. That if you want. She said it's basically like getting a second opinion from a doctor, because clearly

[Jason Rodriguez]

a lot of the issues with, I guess, us receiving this information right Had a lot to do with the fact that they received. They received the autopsy report that indicated there was no drowning, essentially. And that's clearly found in your lungs, your throat and all that. And the second autopsy didn't even get to receive those organs at all.

[Aaron A. King]

Now, she made an interesting point about

that, but she said that's common practice.

[Aaron A. King]

Yeah, she said that's common practice. But another point that she made, because, you know, obviously people hear information online and they run with these narratives. So her point was that just because if the first autopsy comes back and let's say they found there's certain injuries or certain things that you should see. Like, let's say Nolan got in a fight and one of those kids did something to them. She said there's certain injuries where if you see, let's say, a red mark on your neck, it might be a surface level thing. And underneath that, there's other things that a pathologist would use to find out, okay, was this something done to you? Was it an accident? And certain signs will point to that.

Even if it was an accident, which is what the assumption is now, because it's given that something happened. They threw him overboard, right. But he was dead prior to. Cause clearly, he didn't drown.

That's the rabbit hole. Even when we heard the audio and you kind of envision. Even though envisioning it is not the. For us, this court of public opinion, right? Because her point was, let's say he was. Let's say Nolan Wells was drowning and instead of helping him, they just watched. That's still a crime, right?

Let's say they were. He was drowning and something was going on and someone didn't punch him or hit him, but they. He was drowning and they pushed his head down. That wouldn't cause an injury, but you still physically aided in this person's death because they were drowning and you pushed them under or whatever the case.

But within the Democratic Party, a progressive surge is becoming one of the biggest Democratic Party stories heading toward the midterms. So progressive candidates have scored significant primary victories, including Abdul El Said.

In Michigan, he won the state Senate.

The primary, sorry. Which is creating a larger debate inside the party over whether its electoral future lies with a more populist, progressive message or centrist approach.

I mean, it's interesting because. And I wonder, Michigan is normally a blue state, correct?

I feel like Democrats have helped pave the road to the hell we're in right now. And I think there's a fecklessness that should be unacceptable now for anybody in our party or anybody running for office. There are two things we've got to do, and if we don't get them done, shame on us. I think that we're going to have a good midterm election. I think very possibly if we do the work, we can end up with Democrats in January of 2029 holding the house, the Senate and the White House. That work starts now. But if we get there and don't do two very big things, we don't deserve to lead anymore. And the first thing is once and for all to end the corruption that is eating away at our country. It's being normalized in Washington. You have a Supreme Court right down the road from where I'm sitting right now that takes unlimited gifts from billionaires who have interest in matters before them. The highest court in the land has the lowest ethics laws. We need to pass bold legislation that puts term limits on Supreme Court members and puts ethics laws that really bind them. Number two, part of that. Answer that first thing we need to do is end the corruption in Congress. It's on both sides the way I thought. Senators trading stocks, Citizens United allowing unlimited corporate cash to flow. This is why almost a decade ago, I gave up taking corporate PAC money. Last year I said, enough. I'm not even going to take issue area PAC money. We need to start showing that we are going to stop this and pass real legislation to get money out of politics. And the John Lewis Voting Rights act to restore voting. We have to do voting freedom and voting equality. And then we have to pass massive laws to never let a president do this again. That's the first thing. A real anti corruption platform. And then the second thing, because when I go home to Newark, like I'm going to do very soon, we gotta make people's lives immediately better and have big bold ideas.

He literally admitted he said, I know it was taking money a decade ago, but now the Democrats now gotta stop doing it. He made it. And also you are a part of the problem.

Accept, embrace the further left wing of their party, who is becoming increasingly more culturally relevant, increasingly more powerful with the people, and increasingly more popular? Because he talks about we need to support big, bold ideas. Well, the big bold ideas are with people who are mondami, like DSA like.

And that's what they're fighting.

But it's more things for the people. Correct. And I think that what we're also seeing within the Democratic Party, maybe because they keep getting on all these goddamn platforms, is also how many Democrats actually have conservative leaning views and are a little bit more teetering than fully on the. That's a lot of people in that area. But that amount is what pushed him over the top. So going back to what we talked about last week, it's like, yeah, we kind of know where a lot of people are gonna vote. It's how many people are gonna be coming out to vote? Are they gonna be excited? Are they gonna show up?

After careful consideration and reviewing the current eligibility guidelines, I am officially declaring myself a WNBA prospect. If simply declaring who you are is all that's required, that I meet every single requirement necessary to compete in the WNBA. My team and I have carefully examined the WMBA's eligibility criteria and governing framework surrounding self identification and inclusion. Based on the current guidelines, I can and am officially declaring my eligibility for the upcoming WMBA draft in May 2027. I am definitely not here to mock, make fun of, or disrespect any community or personal choices. I am simply asking that the current rules be applied equally to everyone. In the owner's meetings, we're gonna talk about this issue. The Players association put out a statement basically saying, there's nothing to talk about because we support all people. We support trans people. We support all women we support. So what the Players association is essentially saying is that we don't care. Like, we'll allow anyone to come in here who, if a trans woman wants to play NBA basketball and she's good enough to play and the team wants to draft her, she can play. That is immediately gonna butt heads not only within the Players association, because Sophie Cunningham clearly doesn't agree.

And to your main point, what they're looking for is the same way they asked Democrats this question. They want society to define socially who is a woman, so that they can start excluding people from places that they want to participate in.
